Welcome to today's show. Now, from the title of this show,
we're gonna be talking about how AIS are impacting the classroom.
Now we've seen it in movies and TV series. Is
how like artificial intelligence will one day take over the
world and be responsible.

For eliminating mankind.

I remember that movie that I saw back in twenty
twenty gosh I did. Actually I saw probably back like
in twenty twenty one, maybe maybe a little bit earlier
than that, but that movie actually came out in two
thousand and one. It was called AI, right, Artificial Intelligence,
starring Joel Osman. Such a good movie, but it was

again talking about how AIS will one day take over
the world and mankind. And so a lot of educators
and even parents are concerned that AIS may negatively impact
the educational system, may be potentially harmful for our students.
And so what we're going to talk about today is

exactly how has AI already impacted the educational system. And
you know, our teachers and parents concerns warranted. Well, AI
has been impacting education for several years now, so it's
actually not new. It's expected to grow forty seven point
seventy forty seven point seventy seven percent this year from
(01:27):
like five years ago, according to Research and Markets Now
one expert on the subject. She is the founder of
Rainbow Chef's academy. It's Vetlana l Guard, and she said,
another big trend for twenty twenty two is artificial intelligence.
She adds that it's showing up in everything from classroom
management to cybersecurity and obviously a fear that educators believe

that AIS will maybe take over various aspects of their
job altogether. So are those fears warranted, Well, we actually
believe here that they are completely unfounded. And here's the
reason why. In part because artificial intelligence is actually allowing
educators to personalize learning for each and every student.

So, for example, there's.

One school it's called Carneage Learning, and they actually use
AI technology to provide like real time adaptation to each
student's level while giving use like an educational assessment. They
give them guided instructions to help them become more proficient
at the subject that they're in.

So, in other.

Words, you know, especially in most district schools.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
You know, the district has a very strict.

Policy on how things are to be taught, and sometimes
that strict policy doesn't cater to each and every individual
learning method and style of each students, so so sometimes
students can get left behind because every student doesn't learn
the same.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
So what artificial intelligence is.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Allowing teachers and educators to do right now is actually
to have the ability to adapt lesson plans and even
the pace of certain lessons based on on the student's
level and based on the student's need using artificial intelligence.
So it's actually helping teachers to better reach every student
in the classroom through the use of AI technology when

personally they're not able to do that based off district curriculum.
So it's actually a wonderful tool for educators to use
in the districts.

Now, another cool.

Thing about AI technology is that, you know, kids can
even use this at home. You know, so teachers can
actually give their kids lessons, plans and an AI tutor
that they can actually go home, you know, get assistance
at home. It's obviously not the same as getting assistance
from a real person, but nevertheless it can still be
that bridge between you know, that student understanding a subject
(03:41):
a little bit versus you know, getting a little bit
more proficient with it and being able to take those
skills and apply them back in the classroom.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
So it's a pretty pretty great tool.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
One of the things that I really love about AI technology, well,
number one, every teacher can use it from the high
school level, middle school level, even early childhood education.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Even they're using AI tech shee right now.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
But what I love about it is actually giving teachers
more of an opportunity to work individually with the students,
because you know, being a teacher is very hard.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
It's difficult to give every child that.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Needs attention the attention that they need, especially when you
have to worry about, you know, doing assessments, You got
to worry about grading, testing, scheduling of teachers appointments and
you know, staff appointments as well as parent appointments, and
you know, sitting down one on one with each student
and making sure they're all progressing is difficult when you
have so much other things that you're expected to do

and not an eight hour day, more like a twelve
hour day for educators. So the AI is actually opening
up a lot of that free time that those educators
need to give back to those students, and it's really
not free time right, because teachers know there's no free
time in education. But it's allowing teachers and the ability
to spend more time with each student. And that's really
(04:52):
why they got into the profession anyway. They got into
the profession to spend time with kids, not to spend
hours and hours on assessments. So AI is helping them
to do that. So I really love that fact as well.
So it appears from the statistics and the facts that
parents and educators don't have to worry about AIS taking
over the classroom and plotting to take over the world. Instead,

AIR is actually becoming a classroom essential to ensure that
every student has personalized assistance in reaching their academic goals. Now,
if anyone can direct a movie about that, we're sure
that mister Stephen Stilberg would definitely be the one, since
he was the one who actually made the movie. He
directed the movie in twenty oh one on AI. But
I don't think you guys have to worry about AI's

taking over the classroom and like destroy the world.

They're there to help you utilize them and embrace them
and allow it to be an asset and tool for
