They still do have a chance to win the ASC
North with the win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. But let's
not worry about the North ride now, Mark, Let's worry
about the playoffs.

How dangerous are the Baltimore Ravens in this year's playoffs?
Can they make an ASC championship game again? Or are
they a first round exit like the Houston Texans? Mark,
what are your initial thoughts?

Speaker 3 (00:36):
I think they're gonna go far. I think the three
teams you gotta watch out for is always this Kansas City, Buffalo,
and the Ravens. Like those three teams, you never know
what they're gonna do once they get there. I see
all them going far, Like, but you never know. Lamar
doesn't have a good record in the playoffs, like you
always say, Like, I don't think you're a hater. I
think you're just stating facts that he's not good in
the playoffs, and all these people who love Lamar can't

see that. Until he actually wins some playoff games, then
we might put a crown on his head, you know.
But until then, I'm not gonna do that. So I
just think that you gotta watch out for all three
of those teams no matter what.

Yeah, and many of those haters will say, oh, he

But when you look at the Baltimore Ravens, guys, they
are a team that is a very very powerful team.

They are a very very good offensive threat of team.
Their first overall in offense, their third and passing on
the offensive side, ah the ball, and their second in
rushing and Derrek Kenry what had like two hundred yards
to ted to day ran all over the Pittsburgh seel

is the real deal. The defense, however, mark for the

Baltimore Ravens have been the defense. The defense has been
the issue all season long, but the last few weeks
they have been stepping up and to they made some
timely turnovers. Right, the tackle with like with like Rush's

cut it back and get into the end zone, fumble

and then the pick six. Right, their defenses just mean,
it's not very good, but but it made some timely
turnovers today, which is key for the playoffs. When you
look at their defense, there are seventeenth ranked defense overall,
thirty first ranked pass defense, but they're the number one
ranked rush defense. And Mark, I know you mean, you
haven't done a show for very long, and you're you know,

you're like a part timer. But the keys to winning
a championship is to running the ball and playing defense.
If you cannot rush the ball versus a bad Baltimore
Ravens defense and they're running all over you, the Baltimore
Ravens could legit make a nice little run in the
playoffs despite Lamar Jackson's crappy play and the end of

the playoffs, they can legit upset the Houston Texans. It
would be an upset and in my eyes, because the
fourth place or the fifth fifth seeded team play in
the fourth sacate the team that is an upset and
then if everything holds face the Ravens would then come
to Arrowhead and play the Chiefs in in the divisional round.
And if they can beat the Kanca Chiefs at Arrowhead

by the playing the ball that they do, the Buffalo
Bills do not stand at Stan and stand a chance.
And the Ravens couldn't make a Super Bowl run if
they get past the Kansa Chiefs, So they are dangerous
if they can get past the divisional round.

like he needs that to be successful, and like it
showed it here in Denver and that's why we got

be this savior there and he's not gonna be. So
the Ravens just took advantage over a team that's declining.
But I think Ravens are still really good. I just
think this was more about Steelers being bad and the
Ravens being good.

Uh, the Steelers defense, the secondary right now is very
very thin, right. They had Joey Porter Junior go down
with a caff or ankle injury early in that third
in that third quarter, so the the Baltimore Ravens were
really able to exploit that and that's kind of when
they started to I think that's when they gained the
lead and they extend into the lead to the thirty

a Facebook post during that game, and I'm saying, sorry, guys,
but Lamar Jackson is not your MVP. And your boy,
our boy, Wayne G Is like, yeah, he is not
the MVP because he does not have a number one receiver.

best their best roster that they've accumulated in, which was
really surprising that their defense is so bad because Ravens
have always been known for their defense, so it's really
weird that their team is totally switched now and it's
more of an offensive team than it's ever been a

because I've had him on my fantasy all year and
he's been killing it. So if you've been killing it
for me, he's been killing it for them. So it's
like he is. He is a huge piece to their success.
I said this last year that they should have traded
for him. I don't know why they didn't, and I

don't know why Dallas didn't try to trade for him.

have done that. They made that move, So I'm really

the only way they win is if they use him right,

you have Derrek Henry, you want to use him and

to the Canca Sheets last year in the ANC Championship
