Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Jacksonville Jaguars and the Jackoville Jaguars. Guys are gearing
up what could be a roller coaster of a twenty
twenty five NFL season.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
This team's has some weapons.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
This team has a quarterback that's looking to finally take
the next step four and a fan base that is
hungry for post season football. But with the schedule full
of contenders and trap games, can the Jaguars stay consistent
enough to rise to the top of the AC South.
So guys, let's go by week by week and break
it all down. So weeks one through four, it is

(00:34):
shaky but a promising start. Right Week number one, they
are at home taking on the Carolina Panthers, with a
strong victory over the rebuilding Carolina Panthers. This is how
you want to set the tone of victory at home
with a new coach, new general manager, and your quarterback
taking a step in the right direction. But week number two,

(00:57):
they base the Cincinnati Bengals team that we don't really
know what they're gonna do.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
This is the same Bengals team the offensive wise that
went to the Super Bowl just a few years ago.
But this is also the same team that gave up
three hundred plus yards of the game last season, right,
But the Jaguars face a fully loaded Bengal squad. Burrow
and company proved to be too much. Give me a loss.
Week number three, This one matters a key divisional game,

(01:24):
and the Jaguars can bounce back and they beat the
Houston Texans.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
But then week number four they have a physical test
against one of the NFC toughest teams, the San Francisco
forty nine Ers. The Jacksonville Jaguars do come up short.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
So through the first quarter.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Guys of the season, I see the Jaguars sitting at
two and two, beating who they should, but struggling against
elite opponents.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
That's kind of be the name of the game moving forward.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
But then week five through eight, the gauntlet continues because
week number five they do play the best team in
the se and that is the Kansaity Chiefs. But I
see you upset, I see you upset, Brewing as this
is a kind of upset that shifts the season. I
think the Jacksonville Jaguars shock the kan See Chiefs in
a statement home win. I think they get the dub.

(02:12):
But then week number six, the Cocahawks. Flying high after
beating the Kansaean Chiefs, the Jaguars hit a tough and
tough environment in Seattle and crash back down to Earth.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Give me a loss.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
And then they play yet another tough NFC opponent, one
of the best AFC teams out there, the Los Angeles Rams.
This is a mishap and the Jaguars dropped to three
and four on the season. Week number eight is time
to rest, time to regroup and fix the inconsistency. Welcome
to the bye week. So at the halfway mark, guys,
I do have the Jacksonville Jaguars sitting at three and

(02:44):
four entering into their bye week, flashes of greatness, but
still searching for their identity. Are they a passing team?
Are they a rinting team? Or are they a defensive team?
We don't really know because every game we see a
little bit of this and a little bit of that.
So Week nine through twelve they fight to stay alive.
So coming off the bye week, the Jaguars look flat

(03:05):
on the road, losing to the Las Vegas Raiders. And
then week number ten, this one stings losing a home
divisional losing at home to the Houston Texans, especially to
a divisional ridle puts serious pressure on playoffs chances.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
They lose to the Houston Texans.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
And then week number eleven they do beat the La
Chargers out West again and they deliver game and get
a massive road win. But then Week twelve consistently still
eludes them, and following a big win with another frustrating
defeat as they lose to the Arizona Cardinals. So a
six game to go, guys, the Jacksonville Jaguars still get
five and six. It's not over yet, but there's room,

(03:45):
but there's no more rooms for letdowns. They almost need
to be perfect to end the season, and that's exactly
what they do. They finished strong. They finished wrong with
the Week thirteen win over the Tennessee Titans. This one's
personal right. The Jaguars protect their own house and they
get revenge on the Tennessee Titans. And then week number
fourteen they do lose to it to the to the

(04:06):
Indianapolis Colts. But it's just a tough road game, a
tough road environment. But Week fifteen they end the losing streak.
They beat the Jets at home. Week sixteen they beat
the Denver Broncos Week seventeen, they get that revenge win
over the Indiapolis Colts. In Week eighteen, they end the
season on a four game losing streak with the win

(04:26):
over the Tennessee Titans. So, guys, I think the Jaguars
close out this season with winning four other last fives,
finishing nine to eight. That last that late season shirts
pushed them right in the thick of the AC playoff pitcher.
And this team is far from perfect, but they're building something.
So dude, all.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Fan, do you guys believe in this team?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Can they make a playoff push in twenty twenty five
or just another streaky season under there against this time
a new head coach?

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Like? Are they a one and done?

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Guys? Let me know your thoughts, let me know your comments.
This is live interact show I want to hear from you.
Don't forget to hit the subscribe button and be sure
to hit the like button as well. What the old
ones with the Wie hydration Darcy's in the chest says,
you're good at dreaming.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
What am I dreaming about? Darcy? Like? What am I
dreaming about?

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Let's just be honest, real McCoy says the Jaguars goes
seven and ten. So real McCoy does not like Trevor Lawrence. Guys,
Trevor Lawrence has claimed to fame. Is uh coming back
from note yeah, coming back from a twenty eight point playoff? No?

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Did he least that PAIF game? But Trevor Lawrences is
just overrated.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
I for Trevor Lawrence, I think it is shit or
get off the pot time. It's simple as that. You
need a shit or get off the pot time. It's
just it is, It is what it is. Darcy is
saying Texans Cult, Jaguars, Titans and that order winning winning
the division. Well, we will talk about the power rankings
here momentarily. They'll slow it down, baby, slow it down.

(06:02):
Shane says, I think they go seven and seven and ten.
Their defense needs a lot of work. Hey, but they
got Travis Hunter, So yes, Shane, I do agree. The
Jaguars defense does have a lot of holes, but they
do have a lot of bright points. Josh Heines Allen
is a complete monster. If Josh Allen, sorry Josh Heinz

(06:26):
Allen is able to get fifteen sixteen seventeen sacks and
get consistent pressure on that quarterback, Travis Hunter has the
opportunity to get some interceptions. It could be a lot
of momentum shift for them. But yes, their defense does
need a lot of work. Alpha robis saying eighth and
nine as well. Okay, I see it. I could see it.

(06:47):
We differ in one game, but hey, that one game
could be a conference championship and a division berth or
missing the playoffs with just a high or try with
with with with with just a low draft pick. So
we will see. Miles says, I think the Jaguars offense
will be decent, but their defense is trash. They won't
be able to stop teams from dropping twenty eight plus

(07:07):
points on them. It's factor facts, right, guys. The factor
facts mean you mean defense wins championship still. Derek says,
how many games do you have in the New England
Patriots winning Derek, tune in. It would be Monday. Monday,

(07:28):
we'll be breaking down the AFC East, So tune in
there and we will talk about the New England Patriots.
Alfa Rob says he needs to cut that damn hair
alpar Rod. I think you're just jealous, man, I just
think you're jealous that he has a perfect head of hair,
beautiful locks, and you're a balding, middle aged man just
just just like me. Shane says, he Hey, true, he's

(07:52):
a beast of a pass rusher. Yes, Josh heinz Allen
is a beast. I loved him in Kentucky. I it's
a shame that he went to the Jaguars, who kind
of like pissed away half of his career.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
But yeah, it just it is what it is.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Uh No, how do the Jaguars play in New England?

Speaker 2 (08:14):
They don't? They play in Germany? Right? They play in Germany.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
I think they played well because the Jaguars always play
overseas well. Actually, I think the Jaguars have the best
winning record overseas, right were don't they like nine and
eight or eight and seven or something that I don't know.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
It is what it is, but yes, they do play
well well, well well overseas.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
