María del Mar Ramón es bogotana, pero desde 2012 vive en Buenos Aires, una ciudad que no solo la acogió, sino que se convirtió en el escenario propicio para el desarrollo de su trayectoria como escritora, activista feminista y columnista en medios como Vice y Volcánica. Su paso por Argentina ha sido decisivo en la formación de su identidad política, en la consolidación de una mirada ideológica crítica y en el tejido de vínculos afectivos y militantes que hoy definen gran parte de su trabajo. Aun así, su relación con Colombia no se ha disuelto con la distancia y permanece como un gran interrogante en su vida. Hay un lazo invisible, incontrolable, simbólico y poderoso, que la sigue uniendo con el país y que hace de cada visita un torbellino emocional imposible de vivir con indiferencia.
