Speaker 2 (00:49):
Until the final bell will hold up brand.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Welcome everybody to another episode of the NSC Wrestling and
Gaming Podcast. This is your host, Big C here to
give you the fallout from the Great American Bash and
Revolution as we head on to NXT. This was the
post Great American Bash and Evolution episode, so it dealt

(01:29):
with all the fallout from Saturday and Sunday's events. We
see a couple surprises this weekend. Not only did Javon
Evans defeat the Gigantic Jasper Troy, but we also saw
Blake Monroe turn on the Juggernaut Jordan Grace one day
after successfully teaming up to beat Fatal Influence at the

(01:52):
Great American Bash. During Grace's NXT Women's title boot at Evolution,
Monroe hit her with the belt, severing their alliance and
kickstarting a feud in the process. Let's take a look
at how WW addressed the events this past week and

(02:14):
on this episode of NXT, it opened up the recap
of the events of the Great American Bash and Evolution
before we went to the arena for the Final Influence entrance.
Jane alluded to Jasmine Nicks being the reason why they

(02:35):
lost at the Great American Bash, but said she and
Valin Henley redeemed themselves at Evolution. Masha Slamovich from TNA
the Knockout World's Champion, showed up and said Blake Monroe
is the only reason Jane still has her title. Jane

(02:57):
said she would have would win the Knockouts title before
Zaria and Solruka interrupted her. The Babyfaces ended up sending
the Heels out of the ring when it turned into
a fight. This was obviously done to set up a
six women tag at some point. This was a pretty

(03:21):
standard heel promo segment for Jane, as she has done
a good job so far as the Women's Champion in NXT,
but it feels like her group is getting close to
ending Wwe would be wise not to stretch it out
too long before people start Karen. Also, if you watched it,

(03:46):
did you notice that the Speed title was on Ruka.
I believe this is the first time one of the
champs wore the belt without it being on Speed programming.
I thought that was pretty unique. Then we go to
Dark State versus Mike Santana, TNA World Champ, Trick Williams,

(04:11):
and Joe Hendry. Those three men will be fighting over
the TNA title at Slam Reversary this weekend, but they
teamed up for the six man tag match this week
as they went against Dark State just days after they
got into a fight at the Great American Bash. Santana

(04:33):
took a big dive over the top rope to take
out all four members of the group To get the
action off and running. Saquan Sugars and Santana were the
first legal men for their teams. Dion Lennox and Osiris
Griffin were the other two members of Dark State that

(04:56):
worked a match, while Cutler James stayed outside the ring.
Once dark State regained its footing, Griffin took control as
the show went to a quick break. As soon as
it come back, Santana made the hot tag to Hendry.

(05:17):
This match followed a familiar pattern. It got more chaotic
as it went and had a couple of fun moments,
but things broke down when the system from TNA showed
up and when after Dark State. That was really surprising

(05:38):
and great to see. Unfortunately, when that happened ended up
being a no contest. We had Carmen Petrovic versus Klie Armstrong.
Petrovic and her Katana's out next to take on Cali

(06:02):
Armstrong for the Evolve Women's title. The match was only
going for about a few minutes, I'd say, before the
Juggernaut Jordan Grace showed up and took out both women
to cause a no contest finish. She then called out

(06:24):
Blake Monroe to explain her actions Evolution. Monroe appeared on
the big screen from her tub to respond. Then we
had the dissection of the family match. I guess I'll
call it as Tony DiAngelo went against Luca Crucifino, who

(06:51):
went against Channing Stacks Lorenzo in the three way. All
three of these men have good reasons to hate each other,
so as every man for himself. There were no temporary
alliances being made right away. All three men were throwing
hands from the moment the bell rang. Stax tried to

(07:14):
find a crowbar he had planted, only to find it
had been removed, which gave the Don a chance he
needed to take control. For a moment, even though Luca
was a big part of the match, it felt like
the feud between Stacks and the Don took priority. They
have been fighting for several weeks, so they have had

(07:37):
much more time to build up this tension. The Don
ended up spearing Stacks through a wall before the crow's
nest and then threw him back into the hole. He
put Luca through the announced table before hitting Stacks with
a finisher for the win. Josh Briggs came out to

(08:00):
explain why he turned out in Minora. Obi Femi came
out and told Briggs he would have won either way,
but Briggs ruined the match because of his jealousy. The
Manure showed up and it broke down into a fight
that was quickly broken up. Then we had the main event,

(08:23):
the Six Women Tag Fatal Influence versus Masha Slamovich, soul
Ruka and Tzaria. Fatal Influence took control after the initial
opening and had Slamovich cornered, but the TNA Knockouts World

(08:46):
champion fought back until it was down to her and Jane.
The Heels had control heading into the break and kept
Ruka isolated from her team. We see that Tsaria get
There's a Hot tag. Shortly into the final segment, Izzy
Dame and Tatum Pasley came out and all hell broke

(09:08):
loose as the calling got into the fight at ringside,
Slamovich was able to get to win for her team
by pinning Jane. So Tuesday's NXT had to deal with
the events of the Great American Bash and Evolution while
also helping to hype TNA's Slam reversary this upcoming weekend.

(09:32):
While the show managed to juggle all the storylines well enough,
it seemed to be lacking a bit of in terms
of entering action. The triple threat with Tony d. Stax
and Crucifena was the best match of the night, but
it was also only the last couple of minutes that
made it stand out above all the rest. Everything else
fell in line with the rest of the show. The

(09:55):
women's division got a lot of attention with the opening
and closing segments of the show, which was great to see.
Jane had her doubters during her first reign, so it
was great to see management taking the time to feature
her as a top star. The relationship with NXT and

(10:15):
TNA continues to be a regular fixture, so it will
be very interesting to see if either champion loses their
title at Slam Reversary this weekend. And then of course
seeing the speed champion was able to wear their belt
for this ring was really cool. Next step, we have

(10:37):
the ae W Dynamite from last night, the fallout from
All in Texas. The first of six AW shows from
the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago kicked off with new AW

(10:59):
World champion Hangman Adam Page to a huge pop. The
crowd chanted you deserved it, and Hangman retorted that the
crowd deserved it, to which the crowd chanted, we deserve it. Hangman,
who was visibly limping, also thanked everyone who helped him
fight the war against the Death Rioders, Orange Cassidy, Switchblade,

(11:22):
J White, Adam Copeland, the Ops, Brian Danielson, Darby Allion,
and the Aeriel assassin Will Osprey. Page continued, not for
sure if Swerve Strickland helped himself for a W or Page,
but thank Swerve as well. Hangman admitted that he had

(11:47):
to shed tears as well as blood all in, but
this is the champion, and he is the champion of
the effing world. The young Bucks were shown in a
video earlier in the day arriving at the arena in
what appeared to be an uber rather than their customized limousine,

(12:10):
as they tried to hide their faces from the camera.
A little later, the former EVPs were attempting to find
their locker room and ran into Marina Shaffir, who stirred
them down. Ricochet and Gates of Agony approached and said
it sucked to be them. Don Callas then entered and

(12:32):
said that they would conduct some business now that Kenny
was dead. Matt said they would never join his family,
but he could see it working, and the three hugged.
The first match of the evening saw the proto star

(12:54):
Kyle Fletcher taken on cmlll's Mascara Dorado Dorados with high
flying moves at while Fletcher attempted to keep him grounded,
Dorada fought off Fletcher's attacks and wowed the crowd with
moves that I'm not even sure what to call. There

(13:15):
was also an excellent we er camera shot that tracked
around the ring as the two one back and forth.
Then out of nowhere, Fletcher lawn darted Dorada into the
second turnbuckle and followed that up with a sheer drop
brainbuster for the win. We then see a video package

(13:37):
or from the Hurt Business backstage after their victories at
all and with MVP again begging for competition. MJF said
that he was happy that Hangman won and he has
a lot to prove against him and he couldn't wait
to push him back into the pit of despair. MJF said,

(14:00):
nice guys finish last, and they are not nice at all.
The next match, we saw the don Kallis family and
the Bucks versus Jet Speed, Bandido and Brody King. We

(14:21):
had Josh Alexander, hence Rio and the Bucks taking on Speedball,
Mike Bailey, Knight, Bandito and Brody King. During the entrance,
the Bucks were waiting for the Pirodo go off when
the music stopped and an MS paint looking Matt and

(14:43):
Nick appeared on the screen, much to their chagrin. This
was the second match in a row with some impressive
high flying action, as expected considering all the participants. At
one point the Bucks attempted to hit the EVP trigger
on night, but stopped when they realized they could no

(15:04):
longer call it that, allowing Knight to regain control. The
finished sequence featured numerous big team based moves and ended
went Hencereo caught Bandido in a submission, with it unclear
whether Bandido had tapped or passed out. This was a

(15:26):
pretty fun match, however, it was yet another A person tag,
which has undoubtedly become the troop in AW over the
last month or two. Adam Copeland was out next and
said he didn't try to save Christian Cage at all
in calling him an a hole. Copeland said he didn't

(15:50):
blame Nick Wayne and company for what they did to Christian.
Copland said he returned to allan to n FTR. Cope
noted the ft started complaining that he was holding them
back when they were on the same side. This brought
out Big Stoke, accompanied by several security guards to protect him.

(16:12):
Stokely said that WarnerMedia received three anonymous emails complaining about
Copeland's behavior after all in Stokely said that if Copeland
touched FTR, he gets fired. Copeland pointed out that he
didn't mention touching Stokely himself. Copeland then fought off security

(16:34):
and hit Stokely with the spear. Mark Briscoe cut a
promo backstage Colin MJF a bitch for avoiding him in
the Casino Gauntlet match, and they were just getting started.
We then had the one hundred thousand dollars four way

(16:55):
match featuring Tekla, Queen Amanada, Chris Statland, and Willow Nightingale.
These were all participants from the women's Casino Gauntlet match
at all in this match effectively highlighted the strength of
all four competitors, with no one dominating the field. At

(17:16):
one point, all four women went down and the crowd
gave them a standing ovation. Willo seemingly had the match
one after hitting Tekla with the doctor Bomb, but stat
Lander pulled the referee out of the ring. Stat Lander
and Willow balloed up the ramp while back in the ring,
Amanada and Tecla continued their fight. Sky Blue and Julia

(17:40):
Hart then entered the ring, with Julia Hart missing Amanada
in the face, allowing Tekla to hit the stop for
the win. Timeless Tony Storm, a e W Women's champ,
then appeared on the balcony to cut a prom about
how she's still the champ. She thanked Mercedes Monet for

(18:04):
their match and said she is ready for a rematch
at any time. Tony said that Luther was injured in
the match and required reattachment surgery, but her tits are
pointed to the future. Athena and Billy Starks interrupted and
Athena said that she will be the forever AW Champion

(18:29):
and she hurt Mina Chikara with the od face, so
Tony has no one left him to help her. Athena
teased that she wanted and would execute her contract, and
it was announced that next week Tony Storm would face

(18:50):
Billy Starks on Dynamite, Nick Wayne, Mother Wayne and Kit
Saban cut a backstage promo Christian Cage saying that he
was past his expiration day when he attempted to become
the world champion. Wayne noted that he was the youngest

(19:10):
champion in the company and that he would win more
champions as he's the new face of a w We
then had Don Kallis coming out and introducing the AW
unified champion, Kaziska Okada. Ocatta had a brand new theme
which was markedly different from his classic one. Notably, Callis

(19:37):
still held the original Continental and International Championship belts, while
Okada wore a unified belt. Okata beat Quintaro, who wasn't
even named on screen in just over a minute. Ocada
then called out Sweve for screwing his friends over the

(19:59):
Young Bucks. Swerve came out and said he did not
screw the Bucks and asked what o'cada would do about it.
The two had to stare down, and that's how she ended.
We then have the main event of Dynamite, which saw
the Death Rioters taken on New aw World champ Hangman,

(20:23):
Adam Page, Mark Briscoe, and Powerhouse Hobbs. This was a
pretty straightforward trios match, with the expected involvement of Marina
Shaffir behind the referees back. Things started getting rolling once
Hangman got tagged in, with the crowd reacting strongly in

(20:47):
his favor. Suddenly everyone was spamming their finishes, ending with
Page missing the Bucks shot on Claudio and then reversing
the neutralizer into a jackknife for the pin and the
a win. All right, So that was another entertaining post
