Welcome everybody to another episode of the nsc or Wrestling
and Gaming podcast. I am your host, Big C here
to talk to you about some WWE l FG. The
fifth episode of season two of WWE LFG Legends and

(01:26):
Future Grades showcased the wrestlers either working big or small
during the matches. Sewn Michaels and the Legends were looking
for a classic David versus Goliath storytelling from the Future Grades.
In the first match, we had Anthony Luke versus Elijah Holyfield.

(01:48):
Elijah Holyfield put it perfectly earlier in the episode when
he called himself a hybrid between big and small. He
is a big person due to the amount of muscle
he has, but he is not the tallest in the competition.
Anthony Luke is not as muscular as holy Field, but
he is much taller. The legends wanted to see how

(02:11):
the wrestlers would work, with Luke being the big one
and holy Field being the small. Luke started the match
by shadow boxing mocking former Boxing World Heavyweight Champion Evander Holyfield.
He then went for multiple clothesline attempts, but holy Field
dodged all of them by either rolling under or leap

(02:34):
frogging over, leading to Luke rolling out of the ring.
Luke would gain the upper hand again when catching a
diving holy Field on the outside and ramming his back
into the apron and the ring post. After getting back
into the ring, Luke kept rolling with multiple powerful clotheslines
and scoop slams. Holyfield slowly got up each time, only

(02:58):
to be met with either another scoop slam or a suplex.
Luke then put Holyfield into a sleeper hold, wrenching him around.
Holy briefly worked out of it, only for Luke to
slam him back down by the back of his head.
After Holyfield got up one final time, he reversed another

(03:18):
suplex and turned it into a spear into the corner,
followed by a bulldog in one final grasp, Luke went
for another scoop slam, only for Holyfield to reverse into
a full Nelson slam for the win. Each time Holyfield wrestles,
he shows his asleticism in new and impressive ways. The

(03:41):
legends were also impressed by his ability to work as
a smaller wrestler. In the match, Luke struggled with playing
the role of the bigger man. He was more methodical
with his moves than he had been before. It was
obvious that he was trying to think through working big,

(04:03):
leading to a slower pace than usual from him. In
the second match, we had Piano Tupala versus Danny Celetski.
The dynamic for this match was obvious from the moment

(04:27):
it was scheduled. Danny Celetski is the shorter wrestler in
the competition, while Tulipaala is the taller one. The match
began with a lock up, but Tulipaula quickly gained the
upper hand by tossing Selenski into the corner. Selenski tried
to target to Lapla's legs, but tulapolaat kicking her off

(04:49):
and continue to toss her around. She picked up Selensky
for a power bomb, but Selenski tried fighting back with
a barrage of punches, so Lapoula held strong as she
turned it into a Samoan drop for a close pin
count to Lapola put Selensky into the adomnable stretch and
she reversed it with elbows to Paula's mid section. This

(05:13):
momentum for Selensky was short lived as to Lapaula put
her back into the corner and wrenched her ankle around
the bottom robe to wrap her back around the post.
With one final spear to, Lapola seemed to have the
match won as Selenski was lying motionless on the map.

(05:33):
As Lapola approached for the Pinzelensky revealed that she was
playing possum and locked in the Hellsgate submission to Lapola
tried powering out of the move, but she had no
choice about the tap out, given Selensky the win. This
was a match of all matches for the night. To
Lapola looked like a monster as she perfectly and with

(05:57):
power executed all of her offense. Selenski played the underdog
role perfectly as she was selling moves and just looked
like to a Paula's offense was much more impactful than
what it was. In the third match, we see Drake
Moreau versus Chris Island. Moreau's the tallest competitor in the season,

(06:24):
by default, Chris Island took the role of the smaller wrestler.
The match between Monroe an Island was amazing. It began
with Moreau attempting to swing a weapon he brought to
the ring at Island, who dodged it. Moreau then would

(06:47):
gain the advantage early with a big boot. A missed
splash by Monroe opened the door for Ireland, but an
attempted German suplex allow Moreau to get back into the
There was a scary moment in the match when Moreau
attempted a backdrop on Island. An awkward transition led to

(07:08):
the move being botched, causing both wrestlers to fly into
the corner. They bounced back with a back and forth
exchange of punches. Moreau took Island to the ground with
an array of punches followed by a heavy splash. Island
gave momentum again by reversing a sleeperhold into a shoulder
tackle and an angle slam. Island climbed to the top

(07:32):
rope but Moreau caught him for a choke slam and
the victory. Moreau and Island told the story very well.
It was obvious who was the giant heel and who
was the small babyface. The two wrestlers struggled to execute
their moves within the match, and there was the backdrop's
botch an. Island struggled to get up in the air

(07:54):
from Monroe's choke slam, but it was still a very,
very very retaining match. In the main event, we saw
Summer Sorel versus Bailly Humphrey. Bailey Humphrey has been the
monster of the female wrestlers on LFG since the first season.

(08:16):
Summer Sorel had her hands full as the small baby
face in this match. Almost immediately after locking up, Humphrey
slam Sorel down to the mat. They locked up again,
and again Humphrey tossed Sorell aside. As Sorel gathered herself.
The crowd began a Bailey's Gonna kill you chant, in

(08:37):
which Humphrey encouraged. Upon the third lock up, Sorel was
able to get Humphrey into a headlock, which was reversed
into a Humphrey shoulder tackle. A fourth lock up resulted
in Sorel and Humphrey exchanging arm locks, slowing down the
pace of the match. Humphrey game momentum back by putting

(09:00):
Sorel into a bear hug and ramming her into the corner.
She then hit Sorel with a string of shoulder tackles.
Humphrey scooped Sorel and put her into a modified torture rack.
Sorell escaped, but was immediately hit with a shoulder tackle.
She avoided the Humphrey elbow drop, leading to a crucifix

(09:21):
roll up for a near fall. Sorel ran out the
top ropes at Humphrey, but Humphrey caught her and power
bombed her, leading to a Humphrey win. Sorel did a
good job selling for Humphrey and helping her look like
a monster. Humphrey was the dominant force she typically is

(09:41):
in her matches, but there was a desire from the
legends for her to have been more powerful with her moves.
So for the final results for the women, to LaPolla
received all four votes to earn a point for Team
Shell McCool. For the men, it was three votes for

holy Field and Team Bubble Rady Dudley to earn the
