my good buddy Gage Foradany Gage SmackDown was It's pretty interesting,
heartfelt Hogan send off basically in the beginning, a nice

tribute a lot of a lot of wrestlers out there
and the crowd, you know, despite what you hear online,
I mean, everybody was on their feet thanking Hogan, you know,
being part of the the sendoff and the ten the

ten bell salute. I mean, what'd you think of that?

I thought it was very nice when they did that.
You know, the last time we actually saw was when
Raw was on Netflix and they boot him out of
the building. So I think that was kind of bad
now that he's passed. But I believe the time bow
salute was very nice. I know his his son's wife

said it was very beautiful. So it was a very
very heartwarming salute to the great Hulk Cogan.

I have to I have to agree. I mean that
first Raw on Netflix when he came out with Jimmy Hart.
I mean, yeah, he's had a complicated career, complicated, well
really complicated life. His career was set in stone. I

mean without Hogan we wouldn't have wrestling how it is.
I mean evince that everything on hol in the eighties
and it did it, It ran wild, It influenced a
lot of our favorite wrestlers and uh and it was great.

There was some questionable moments in his in his life,
but Hogan as a whole, not Terry Bolea, but Hogan.
You know, he's in the mount Rushmore of of wrestlers.
But we'll get into that. You know, after we talked
about SmackDown.

I mean, like for me, Jelly Roll coming out and

ring and he caught a good promo. Yeah, very I
mean that he brought and it was engaging with the
audience and the crowd was definitely given the response back.
I know he's been doing a lot of work at
the performance centers, getting trained by you know, some some
veterans in the business. But I'm still conflicted because, like,

you know, do I like celebrities in the w W
you know, and this is good for what it is,
This is good for what it is. I'll say that, Yeah,
I don't.

I don't like I said last time, I'm not big
on all the celebrities and to the wrestling, but to
his credit, you know, he's he's putting it in the time,
in the work, and he, like you said, he'd caught
a very very good promo. I was very shocked, Like
it was pretty good for his third time in the
w w WE ring. What we're going to see a
SummerSlam to be determined, but at least he's getting the

help at the performance center and he's not just going
in there not knowing a thing.

The weight he's lost two Yeah, he has lost You
can't even call him jelly roll, no, not really called
him protein roll. Like he's lost a lot of weight.
And to me it showed because when he gave Logan
Paul that that black hole slam, I was shocked by that.

First of all, I thought he was gonna do like
a little choke slam, but he gave him a black
hole slam and he whipped him around a little bit.
I like that. Yeah, how do you think this match
is gonna it's gonna turn out? I mean, is Jelly
Roll gonna get the spotlight of Randy?

Hey, Randy's veteran, he's been around forever. He's good friends
with Jelly Roll. I don't see why he just doesn't
give him the spotlight for one night, you know what
I mean. Randy's had multiple times in the spotlight. H
He's a legend. He's gonna go down to one of
the best in history. But I think Randy's gonna let

him get the one, two three, And.

I feel that. Do you feel like we're gonna see
a little bit more of Jelly Roll after SummerSlam?

Possibly if it all goes well, I could see potential
another Jelly Roll appearance in the future.

Then we had Alexa Bliss versus rock Samperez. For me,
rock Stancy came out vast, but Alexa, you know, she's
the veteran. The only thing that I really that really
caught my eye about this is how close Alexa and Charlotte,
how close they're getting throughout the weeks. I mean that

twisted Bliss to Raquel off the top onto the outside
just to just to save Charlotte. I was like, you know, wow,
they went from just being frenemies to now she's shaving her.
What are you thinking of that?
Speaker 4 (08:01):
Here's my thing. I think Charlotte Flair's a I don't
think she's bad. I've never hated Charlotte Flair, but personally,
I think she's got too much of an ego boost
because you know, her father's Rick Flair, She's got the
last name. But to see them kind of working with

each other, I could see now that she's like, people
are cheering for her and they're giving her what she deserves.
I could see them as a long term tag team
for a while, if they want to keep this going.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
And honestly, I mean it kind of that match reminded
me of both tag teams, right, So Charlotte and Raquel
very tall women, very powerful, and then Rock shann and Alexa.
Let's be honest, they're just a little over five foot,

you know, like it remind you know, they're they're meshing well.
And Summer Slam. I'm excited because not only can I
see Alexa and Charlotte get the titles, but I can
also see Raquel and Rock san retain and this it
(09:28):
adds more, you know, onto survive receivers or something like that.
You know, I'm just I'm very excited to see where
that goes. And then the backstage promo, the backstage segment
with Jade getting interviewed and then Chelsea, you know, talking
her game and Jay just throwing her around like a rag.

I for me, I love that. I didn't even know
that was going to be a match. I didn't even
know that turn into a match, and uh man, the
way Jade was just just powering her. I love that
the secret her was coming out. The one thing that

caught my eye was I don't know if Tiffany's ready.
I don't know because the way Jade was giving that
belt back to her and Jay stitting in her ground,
I don't know if Tiffany's ready for what Jade's gonna bring.

Yeah, there's a lot of a lot of female wrestlers
that underestimated Jake Cargo. You know, she had her time
at AW. I thought she did fantastic of AW and
then she came out at the Royal Rumble, and you know,
she's a powerhole. She's she's built, she she knows what
she's doing. She's had a few mistakes here and there,

but I personally the same. I don't think Tiffany knows
what she's getting into with Jade Cargile, But we'll see
what happens.

I mean with Jade listening with Before Jade, we thought
Bianco bell Air, Ria Ripley they were the strongness. But Jade,
she's just different level. Yeah, and then we had the
miserturn to the ring. That was nice, but he got squashed.

He got Oh my god, Jacoba to listen. He took
out four guys by himself. I've never seen that happen.
I've seen Stone Cold take out two seeing I've never
seen especially like someone like Talatanga at seven foot giant. Man,

But the Jacoba to Solos to Cola match in a
steel cage, I can't. I can't even fathom what we're
gonna see because this is it's like you're going inside

line or something like that. Just when you have the

power and the athleticism of Jacob, he could he can
flip that switch instantly. We see it every single week.
He flips that switch and it's over.

I I really I'm excited. But at the same time,
they never said that the MFT is banned from ringside.

That is true. That could be a factor in that match.

What you think of what do you think of the
miss in the ring? Though it's been it's been a
while since we actually saw him compete. The last time
was Alice debut.

Yeah, I believe so, I believe that was the last time.
I can't remember, but yeah, I don't She still got it.
I don't think he did horrible. You know, Miss is
one of them here, He's up there with on the
heel list, the greatest of you of all time. To me,
I've always liked him, Miss, I've never hated him. To

see him come back, it was, it was. It was
nice to see. But yeah, he's still got it. You know,
he's been doing it for forever, so he's not gonna
You know, a lot of wrestlers when they leave, they
get a little Rusty when they come back. But I
think I think he did very well.

I mean, he's he's gotta he's gotta be in the
w for twenty years now.

Yeah, it's over twenty.

I mean, he's he's never been a face, never in
his entire in his entire career with W ben a face.

Hope, like I said, like he is going to be
when he retires, He's going to be the one of
the greatest heels of all time.

I hope we see more of him. I hope we
see more. And then the Wide Six versus the surprisingly
well team of Andrade and Rae, Phoenix, Ray and Androde.
Their chemistry is so just on point. For the longest

time I was I was saying to myself, Ray and Penta,
we need to see the Lucha Bros. Again. Yes, but
seeing Andrade and Ray team now out for the last month,
it's been phenomenal in my opinion. I mean, you can't
you can't fault them for anything.

Yeah, I'd like, I like, I'd love to see the
Lucha Bros. Again, But you know, they're kind of pushing
Vental for the singles right now later down the line.
Could we see that? Absolutely? But yeah, Andreida and Ray Phoenix.
But what a combo?

What do you what are you thinking of SmackDown's tag
team right now? Tag team division? They've set up their
game so much in the last year it reminds me
of the mid two thousands tag teams.

Where their tag team division is stacked right now for SmackDown,
even on the male and female side, they're pretty stacked.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
Oh my gosh. Yeah, I mean just just think about it,
like when you when you say the Motor City Machine
Guns for me, one of TNA's greatest tag teams of
all time. Yeah, I'm very glad they got their chance
now of show why they've been in the top for
as long as they've been around. And then d I
Y they're phenomenal, you know, Andrede and Ray and the

YA six. I am. I didn't think that they were
going to get to the weekly TV showings that we're
seeing them now because we didn't. We never did when
they first got together. We didn't see them weekly. And
for them to have the titles, Oh my god, I

to be anything like you know, it was sad with

I don't think WrestleMania is as big as it is.

I don't think you see John Cena. I don't think
you see a Roman range. I don't think there's a
lot you What are your thoughts at Hogan? What are

I mean, it was a shock. It was very sad
to hear. I told you this. Before we started. They
had that that rumor months ago that he was dead already,
and I thought it was just another rumor. And then
when I saw ww we posted it, I'm like, oh,
this is real. Like the guy that built this from

the ground up and helped WWE become what it is
today is gone. What do we do now? And same
point as you, I could separate Hulk Cogan from Terry
and I could put all that other stuff aside. In

all reality, if you're a true wrestling fan, you should
put that stuff aside. Because WWE wouldn't be a multi
billion dollar company if it wasn't for Hultkvid, if it
wasn't for Vince putting a Gamble, like you said on him,
we probably wouldn't have this today, not at.

All, not at all, I mean, and you look at
what he did for WWF and w W and w CW.

Again, one of the greatest, if not the greatest heel
turn of all time when he joined the nWo, and
that brought viewership, That brought a lot because it was
Hogan was this babyface for so long and then he
turned on the fans, and then WrestleMania it's all you

got to say. Wrestle Mania him with Mister t against Piper,
and then WrestleMania three, the infamous match with Andre and
the Giant. Now obviously that wasn't the first time Hogan
and Andre went against each other. It wasn't, but the

way they built it up one of the greatest build
ups of all time. You know, his feud, in his
his partnership with Macho Man the Megapowers. You you can't

say WWE without mentioning Hulk Hogan because Hulkomania has ran
from the mid eighties until still running today. You can't.
You can't say that Hulk didn't contribute everything he had

to this business, you know, and that was and you
can argue about the creative control, but at the same time,
can you say the creative control was to make the
business as good as possible as he felt like he
could give everything? You know he could. And it's the
controversy like that that makes makes things complicated. You know,

you had the the sex tape, though you had the
racial comments, and you know that was the end of
his career. That was in the last decade so, and
that's what makes it all complicated for me. Terry Boleya

as a person, I don't know. I don't know him personally,
I don't know the views, I don't know any of that.
But Hulk Hogan, the wrestler I know, made professional wrestling.

He helped grow the business to what it is today.
He inspired a lot of wrestlers that are some of
our favorites today. He's made the greatest sports entertainment pay

per view pl to what it is today, WrestleMania. That's
how I when I view Hul Holgen, That's how I
view when I view Terry Boleya, I don't I can't show.
I don't know him personally. I know what I hear,
I know what I read online. But then I also

know what guys like Rick Flair say about him. I know,
I see, I hear what guys like Terry fun not
Terry Funk, but the other takers say about him. I
see I read what I hear from other wrestlers that

worked with him, say Diamond Dallas Page. So it's split.
What do you want to read? It's what you want
to read. But what I saw in Hogan was every
time he stepped in, well every time he made an appearance,
the crowd was just going absolutely berserk. Hulk Mania was

running wild, and thousands and thousands and thousands of men, women,
children just going to him like he was the superhero
because that's how he was built. A twenty four inch pythons.

When he was hulking up, you couldn't stop him. The
infamous big boot and leg drop. That was it. How
do you view Hulk Hogan as the wrestler for what
he contributed from the time he started in the WWF

until his last appearance, how do you view him?
Speaker 4 (32:50):
He is the pure raw definition of wrestling in WWE
what it is today because we wouldn't have wrestle Maney,
we wouldn't have summer to say, we don't have none
of this if he didn't do what he did. You know,

I watched that tribute they gave to him, and I
have tears rolling down my face. I was crying. And
he had dreams. He wanted to start a band, and
he quit the band, and he looked at his buddies
and he said, I'm going to be the greatest professional
wrestler you've ever seen. And he took that ball and
he ran with it and he did it. He didn't
do to say that and then quit. He took it
(33:33):
and ran and he helped build this company what it is.
I don't know Terry Bolea, never met him, never talked
to him. He's not my best friend, so I don't
as him as a person. Like you said, I've heard
(33:56):
other people say great things about Terry, and then I've
heard bad things about Terry. But we're talking about Hulk Hogan,
the wrestler. We're not talking about Terry the person. We're
talking about Hulk. And he did what he wanted to do.
And we wouldn't have the wrestling version of the Super

Bowl if it wasn't for him saying, no what, I'm
gonna try this and I'm gonna do it, and he did.

It, and for me, you know, there's a lot of
people that they can't. They can't separate the two characters.
And yeah, that's the right, that's their that's their opinion.

But if you can't look at the accomplishments that Hogan
made to the business and say he's not one of
the greatest to do it, then you're looking at the
wrong spreadsheet. You're looking at the wrong stuff. Because when

you have somebody that is worldwide, worldwide, in a time
where there was no internet, there was no social media,
that's a big accomplishment. You have to be one of

the greatest. Because now it's well you can either catch
them on TV if they had cable, or well you
can read on the newspaper. But to be known worldwide
like that at a time where and we can't just

post something on social media, thousands of people view it,
that's a that's a big thing. That's a big thing.
And I just when I when I when I think
of Hulk Hogan passion. Now, I mean, it's been been
three days. It's not the end of Hogan. It's not

the end of ho Comania. There will always be the
whole Maniacs. There will always be whole Comnia. There will
always be wrestlers that, you know, Hogan was my inspiration.
There always be fans that say, my my dad was
(36:47):
a fan because of Hogan, my grandfather was a fan
because of Hogan. And that's how I that's how I
view it as how I view it as a whole.
You know, professional wrestling will always be with Hogan. Hogan
will always be with professional wrestling. And now we just

look back on the accomplishments he contributed and made in
professional wrestling and leave it as is. Leave it as is.

Now the tricky part comes at the end of Sena's career.
Is this is my theres a little question that I'm
gonna throw at you at the end of Sena's career,

I started watching wrestling in two thousand and nine and
I said this the last time I was on here.
I'm a seeing put guy threw it through. I always
have been. There was times when I hated John Cena

and then there was times I love John Cena. John
Cena is when he wasn't a movie star. He was eat, sleep, breathe,
ww we. That's all he knew. And he has the
same drive and motivation as whole Cogan. Listen. I love John.

I think his heel run now is doing awesome. I

I thought it was very nice when they did that.
You know, the last time we actually saw was when
Raw was on Netflix and they boot him out of
the building. So I think that was kind of bad
now that he's passed. But I believe the time bow
salute was very nice. I know his his son's wife

said it was very beautiful. So it was a very
very heartwarming salute to the great Hulk Cogan.

first Raw on Netflix when he came out with Jimmy Hart.

really complicated life. His career was set in stone. I

and it did it, It ran wild, It influenced a

you know, and this is good for what it is,

on all the celebrities and to the wrestling, but to
his credit, you know, he's he's putting it in the time,
in the work, and he, like you said, he'd caught
a very very good promo. I was very shocked, Like
it was pretty good for his third time in the
w w WE ring. What we're going to see a
SummerSlam to be determined, but at least he's getting the

help at the performance center and he's not just going
in there not knowing a thing.

The weight he's lost two Yeah, he has lost You

him protein roll. Like he's lost a lot of weight.
And to me it showed because when he gave Logan
Paul that that black hole slam, I was shocked by that.

a little choke slam, but he gave him a black
hole slam and he whipped him around a little bit.
I like that. Yeah, how do you think this match
is gonna it's gonna turn out? I mean, is Jelly

Hey, Randy's veteran, he's been around forever. He's good friends
with Jelly Roll. I don't see why he just doesn't
give him the spotlight for one night, you know what
I mean. Randy's had multiple times in the spotlight. H
He's a legend. He's gonna go down to one of

Then we had Alexa Bliss versus rock Samperez. For me,
rock Stancy came out vast, but Alexa, you know, she's
the veteran. The only thing that I really that really
caught my eye about this is how close Alexa and Charlotte,
how close they're getting throughout the weeks. I mean that

twisted Bliss to Raquel off the top onto the outside
just to just to save Charlotte. I was like, you know, wow,
they went from just being frenemies to now she's shaving her.
What are you thinking of that?

Here's my thing. I think Charlotte Flair's a I don't
think she's bad. I've never hated Charlotte Flair, but personally,
I think she's got too much of an ego boost
because you know, her father's Rick Flair, She's got the
last name. But to see them kind of working with

each other, I could see now that she's like, people
are cheering for her and they're giving her what she deserves.
I could see them as a long term tag team
for a while, if they want to keep this going.

And honestly, I mean it kind of that match reminded
me of both tag teams, right, So Charlotte and Raquel
very tall women, very powerful, and then Rock shann and Alexa.
Let's be honest, they're just a little over five foot,

you know, like it remind you know, they're they're meshing well.
And Summer Slam. I'm excited because not only can I
see Alexa and Charlotte get the titles, but I can
also see Raquel and Rock san retain and this it

adds more, you know, onto survive receivers or something like that.
You know, I'm just I'm very excited to see where
that goes. And then the backstage promo, the backstage segment
with Jade getting interviewed and then Chelsea, you know, talking
her game and Jay just throwing her around like a rag.

I for me, I love that. I didn't even know
that was going to be a match. I didn't even
know that turn into a match, and uh man, the
way Jade was just just powering her. I love that
the secret her was coming out. The one thing that

caught my eye was I don't know if Tiffany's ready.
I don't know because the way Jade was giving that
belt back to her and Jay stitting in her ground,
I don't know if Tiffany's ready for what Jade's gonna bring.

Yeah, there's a lot of a lot of female wrestlers
that underestimated Jake Cargo. You know, she had her time
at AW. I thought she did fantastic of AW and
then she came out at the Royal Rumble, and you know,
she's a powerhole. She's she's built, she she knows what
she's doing. She's had a few mistakes here and there,

but I personally the same. I don't think Tiffany knows
what she's getting into with Jade Cargile, But we'll see
what happens.

I mean with Jade listening with Before Jade, we thought

miserturn to the ring. That was nice, but he got squashed.

out four guys by himself. I've never seen that happen.

flip that switch instantly. We see it every single week.

one of them here, He's up there with on the
heel list, the greatest of you of all time. To me,

he's been doing it for forever, so he's not gonna
You know, a lot of wrestlers when they leave, they

seeing Andrade and Ray team now out for the last month,
it's been phenomenal in my opinion. I mean, you can't

Lucha Bros. Again, But you know, they're kind of pushing
Vental for the singles right now later down the line.

team right now? Tag team division? They've set up their
game so much in the last year it reminds me

today is gone. What do we do now? And same

wasn't for Vince putting a Gamble, like you said on him,

business as good as possible as he felt like he

his career. That was in the last decade so, and

But Hulk Hogan, the wrestler I know, made professional wrestling.

He helped grow the business to what it is today.
He inspired a lot of wrestlers that are some of
our favorites today. He's made the greatest sports entertainment pay

how I when I view Hul Holgen, That's how I
view when I view Terry Boleya, I don't I can't show.
I don't know him personally. I know what I hear,
I know what I read online. But then I also

know what guys like Rick Flair say about him. I know,
I see, I hear what guys like Terry fun not
Terry Funk, but the other takers say about him. I
see I read what I hear from other wrestlers that

worked with him, say Diamond Dallas Page. So it's split.
What do you want to read? It's what you want
to read. But what I saw in Hogan was every
time he stepped in, well every time he made an appearance,
the crowd was just going absolutely berserk. Hulk Mania was

running wild, and thousands and thousands and thousands of men, women,
children just going to him like he was the superhero
because that's how he was built. A twenty four inch pythons.

When he was hulking up, you couldn't stop him. The
infamous big boot and leg drop. That was it. How
do you view Hulk Hogan as the wrestler for what
he contributed from the time he started in the WWF

until his last appearance, how do you view him?

He is the pure raw definition of wrestling in WWE
what it is today because we wouldn't have wrestle Maney,
we wouldn't have summer to say, we don't have none
of this if he didn't do what he did. You know,

I watched that tribute they gave to him, and I
have tears rolling down my face. I was crying. And
he had dreams. He wanted to start a band, and
he quit the band, and he looked at his buddies
and he said, I'm going to be the greatest professional
wrestler you've ever seen. And he took that ball and
he ran with it and he did it. He didn't
do to say that and then quit. He took it

and ran and he helped build this company what it is.
I don't know Terry Bolea, never met him, never talked
to him. He's not my best friend, so I don't
as him as a person. Like you said, I've heard

other people say great things about Terry, and then I've
heard bad things about Terry. But we're talking about Hulk Hogan,
the wrestler. We're not talking about Terry the person. We're
talking about Hulk. And he did what he wanted to do.
And we wouldn't have the wrestling version of the Super

Bowl if it wasn't for him saying, no what, I'm
gonna try this and I'm gonna do it, and he did.

It, and for me, you know, there's a lot of
people that they can't. They can't separate the two characters.
And yeah, that's the right, that's their that's their opinion.

But if you can't look at the accomplishments that Hogan
made to the business and say he's not one of
the greatest to do it, then you're looking at the
wrong spreadsheet. You're looking at the wrong stuff. Because when

you have somebody that is worldwide, worldwide, in a time
where there was no internet, there was no social media,
that's a big accomplishment. You have to be one of

the greatest. Because now it's well you can either catch
them on TV if they had cable, or well you
can read on the newspaper. But to be known worldwide
like that at a time where and we can't just

post something on social media, thousands of people view it,
that's a that's a big thing. That's a big thing.
And I just when I when I when I think
of Hulk Hogan passion. Now, I mean, it's been been
three days. It's not the end of Hogan. It's not

the end of ho Comania. There will always be the
whole Maniacs. There will always be whole Comnia. There will
always be wrestlers that, you know, Hogan was my inspiration.
There always be fans that say, my my dad was

a fan because of Hogan, my grandfather was a fan
because of Hogan. And that's how I that's how I
view it as how I view it as a whole.
You know, professional wrestling will always be with Hogan. Hogan
will always be with professional wrestling. And now we just

look back on the accomplishments he contributed and made in
professional wrestling and leave it as is. Leave it as is.

Now the tricky part comes at the end of Sena's career.

I started watching wrestling in two thousand and nine and

and then there was times I love John Cena. John
Cena is when he wasn't a movie star. He was eat, sleep, breathe,
ww we. That's all he knew. And he has the
same drive and motivation as whole Cogan. Listen. I love John.

I think his heel run now is doing awesome. I
think what he's doing now, like his retirement tour, I
think it's good, like he went on on his own
terms and everything. But I just can't see it. I
can't see Scena passing Hogan. I mean seeing it helped

worst time as possible, and he helped a big time.
And he was another one. He said I'm gonna go
out and do this and he did. And I don't know.
I just I can't see Seena surpassing Hogan.
