know how I feel about that pay per view pl
I really thought it was going to be a lot

better than what it was. I thought that on paper,
the match cards seemed good, but overall I was really
disappointed at it.

That if the Donnybrook Matt didn't happen, I think that
this entire ple would have been a bust. You know,
on paper, you had the opening match Rains versus Bronze
and Reid, and Rains came out to a huge pop.

I mean, the crowd is what actually made this pl e.
The excitement, the way they were cheering the way they
were getting involved, But it wasn't a typical WWE pl.

Rains and Reid.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
I mean, two huge men, very athletic, bronze and read
has a heck of a following back in his independence
days known as Jonah and the OTC Roman reigns. You know,

you almost thought that Bronson was gonna ruin this match,
the way he was taking it to Rains and Reins
himself as he always does, always mounts a comeback. Thought
maybe Paul Haman would have gotten involved in it didn't happen,
not until the end when Roman got his payback, which

I thought was justified and well deserved. And then after
the match, ron Breaker shows up dismantles Rains. Is this
showing a huge chink in the armor that God Mode

is no longer around that wreck? Everybody in Leave is gone.
Obviously we all heard the rumors of him doing a movie,
so this is a perfect way to have it happen.
But the way he got dismantled, the way Bronson Reid

just tsunami the ever loving crap out of him, bron
Breaker running down the ramp and just spearing him, I mean,
it really showed that he's not as great as he portrayed,

which is quite alarming.

Obviously when he comes back, I can see him and
his original ones Jimmy and Jay going together take on
the vision. But you know, it's it was. It was alarming,

That's all I can best say. Let me jump right
into the tag match, the championship match with the Street
Profits and the champion Wyatt Six, Joe Gacy and Dexter Loomis.
You know what's going on there too. Like they came
out to another huge ovation wearing the Borderlons masked, which

was one beautiful pop form. I mean, I thought it
was a nice cheap plug for Borderlands too, and then
of course, you know, the Wyatt Six gets involved and retains.
It really wasn't as good of a match as I
was hoping for. I'm a huge Joe Gacy fan from

back in the days in his independent scene, you know,
especially doing a promotion locally that I frequented many many
many times to watch them Russell Excite Wrestling, and uh,
it just wasn't there. Like it just seemed like it
was completely scripted. And now I know, like most people

(06:35):
you know have watched the Netflix series WWE unreal. So
we all know it's scripted, but it's the macabre of
believability that was missing.

I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
It's something that I guess we're all gonna have to
get used to now with this new era going through.
And then a match that totally was in the drizzles,
Becky Lynch versus Nikki Bella for the Women's Intercontinental Championship.

Oh God, where do I start? Like the Botch moves,
the way it was going down, like it was, I
mean to put it bluntly, it was the drizzling craps
like it was the Drizzles with a capital D. I've
seen better wrestling, you know, in the backyard federations, two

buddies just pouncing around in the living room. This match
itself was the absolute stinker. I did not enjoy. Oh yeah,
I you know, I understand. Nicky Bella comes out. She
still has a heck of a following, you know, I
mean she looks great, but man, not wrestling for as

(08:12):
long as she has really showcased. I think Becky did
best she could to try to lead the match, to
have a go forward, but there was just no coming back.
It was just that bad of a match. Yeah, Like,

(08:37):
I don't even know where to begin on that one there,
because it was just the drizzles, Like, it was just
spladder marks everywhere, a good taco bell, Chinese food, denty
Moore drizzles, if you get my drift. The Donnybrook match was,
in my opinion, the match of the night Seamus and Ruseph.

Everything was involved, bars, barrels of whiskey, chile ley, stairs, chairs.
I mean, this was a banger and a banger and
a banger. On any other pl this match might have been,

(09:25):
you know, just a normal run of the mill match,
But because this pl was a complete and total bust,
this match really stood out. It showcased how well these
two behemoths in their forties wrestling for as long as

(09:46):
they have, going as long as they did. Putting their
bodies through the abuse that they did really showcased how
well these two athletes can still go. The John Cena

(10:08):
Versus Logan Paul match, as stated previously, I said Logan
Paul will be a WWE World Champion, and this match
proved it. The man can go, the man can do moves,
the man can speak everything set aside. He is one

(10:33):
of the best wrestlers. In WWE currently, the things that
he can do is just absolutely phenomenal. Love or hate him,
The Maverick is here the main event four way for

(11:00):
Seth Rollins Championship. With Vision members Brown Breaker and Bronson
Reid banned from ringside, you kind of thought that maybe
the other three would just tag team on Seth Rollins,
take him out and then fight it Mono E model

(11:22):
between the three of them instead of being a fetal
four way, make it a triple threat. Did not happen.
It was really all men for themselves after Punk tried
to have that workout. The ending of the match, though,

(11:46):
left the opening. The ending of the match left the
opening for what I believe will be one of hopefully
better comebacks to appear in a WWE ring, with Punk
going for the second consecutive gts on Rollins. After Rollins

(12:11):
had stomped out both j Uso and La Knight had
him hoisted on the shoulders getting ready to drop the
knee to the face when a masked individual showed up
and gave Punk a low blow, and I mean it
was a stiff one. When the mask came off, we

(12:35):
see that it was none other than the Women's Intercontinental Champion,
Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins's wife, Mixed Tag. Absolutely, aj Lee
has been training. Aj Lee was in the Stars Show

(12:57):
Heels performing as a wrestler, so you know she can
still go, and rumor has it that she will be
appearing at Wrestling Palooza, so I'm kind of excited to
see where this runs.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
But all in all, the pl e was a stinker.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Match grades you know, definitely the Donnybrook match, Russa versus Seamus,
then I'd have Sena versus Logan, Paul Read versus Roman,

(13:43):
the Fatal four Wight Championship match, the tag team match,
and the Women's IC match, But overall it was just
a very unimpressive ple e. Now that was great was

(14:03):
Ring of Honor, Death Before Dishonor from the legendary ECW
Arena twenty three hundred in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This was another amazing.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Match, And I think WWE has gotta be a little
careful here because this might turn out to be when
NXT was going against aw Dynamite. The shows have been
getting better, the writing has been getting better, the talent
has been getting better. Aw I believe is here to

say hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, don't you forget about us.
Remember you guys had to move a show because of us.
It was just another amazing event and it was exclusively
on the Rohi Honor Club subscription. In the pre show,

we had Jay Lethal going against Jordan Oliver and it
was a great showing from the youngster. Lethal went up
for a flying elbow drop, but Oliver caught him on
the way down to transition it for a roll up.
Lethal kicked out, then cranked dragonscrew leg whips. Lethal applied

a figure for submission lodnch onto Oliver, but Oliver reached
for the ropes. Lethal dragged him back to the center.
Oliver cannot escape and he had a tap out. Sammy
Gavara teas that he will break the walls down for
his partner.

Hmm.

Then we had Mansor and Mason Madden going against Griff
Garrison and Cole Carter and Alex Reynolds and John Silva.
The three way contest. MX Collection debuted seed Perfume. Dark

Order ran Wild down the stretch, Silver executing a spinning
torture Wrex slam on Madam. Dark Order hit the patented
Suplex combo, with Reynolds scoring a jackknife pin on man
sore Johnny TV sprayed seeds in Reynold's eye. Mansor reversed

the pin to steal the win. That was a very
exciting match, and you know that's kind of what we're
missing now, stuff like that. I know, you guys hear

me talk a lot about Matt Cardona and how much
of a mark I am.

But he brings it back like he's a true villain.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
When you think of heels now, you know nowadays there
really isn't but the heat that Cardona gets on any
promotion that he goes to is substantial. Granted with the
whole TNA thing, he's kind of like, you know, the
stone cold heel where he's the anti authority figure but

still gets cheered.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
But you know he's he's got it, man, Like.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
He's he's got it. Afterwards, Jay Lethal was interrupting, was
interrupted by Blake christ Lee Johnson. Christian rubbed and how
he already beat Lethal. They will beat more Roh Royalty

when they face the Kingdom.

Marshall gave props to actor Paul Walter Hauser as a
dedicated actor, but he'll never be one of the boys.
Hauser doesn't want to be one of the boys, win
or lose. He's just happy to put his hands.

You know it's Paul Walter Hauser, as many of you
guys might know, and if you don't know, check it out.
He was in the Netflix show Cobra Kai as Stingray,
so he is a very accomplished actor. But he has
laced his boots up. He has gone one on one
with some of the best. Check out the Matt Cardona

versus Paul Walter Hauser match, the Indie God versus the
Emmy God. That was a really, really good match and
it showcase how versatile Paul Walter Hauser really is. We
have Billy Stark scoring against Ashley Vox in a pure
rules effect. Starks walked around her normal style. For the

most part, Vox didn't use any rope breaks. Starks used
her second rope break to escape a fishhook. She stood
up and connected on a blatant closed fist punch. The
referee issued a warning, but the damage Arizi was already done,
as Vox still showed heart for a small, sneaky roll up. However,

Starks finished a job on a backbreaker for the win.
We then had the fifty thousand dollars Prize with Dalistico,
Adam Priest, Angelico and ar Fox. Jalistico cleaned house on
everyone in the end, including Surpetico on the outside. The

(19:53):
luchador hit a flying codebreaker on Angelico to win the
money prize. We then see e she in Hologram defeating
the premier athletes Ari Davari and Tony Nice.

It's kind of a that was an OK match.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
We then had the ro OH World six Man Tag
Team Championship Match with the Shane Taylor Promotions Shane Taylor,
Sean Dean and Carl Bravo going against the Sons of
Texas Sammy Guevara, Ross Van Eric and Marshall Vaughn Eric.

(20:43):
The Shane Taylor Promotion defeated the Sons of Texas to
win the titles and the ro OH Women's Pure Championship Match.
For the quarterfinals, Queen Almanada defeated Taya Valkyrie Blake Christian
Lee Johnson defeated Matt Tavin and Mike Bennett. In the

(21:07):
ROH Pure Championship match, Lee Moriarty, the champion, put his
title on a line against Zula. Zula used all three
of his rope breaks, but Moriarty chopped to Lutra door
in the octopus submission. Zula went to go for the ropes,
but there was no more rope breaks. Moriarty transitioned to

(21:31):
a standing Border City stretch in the ropes and Zula
had to tap out for Moriarty to retain his championship.
The Fight Without Honor QT Marshall versus Paul Walter Hauser.

(21:52):
This was a hardcore match, with Howser bleeding everywhere. When
Aaron Solo pummeted Hawser with a kendostick hook made a
surprise appearance for the save. He supplexed Solo through the table,
then applied the red rum choke to drag him to

(22:12):
the back. Hawser had a very scary moment getting power
bombed on tacks. He looked shaken up on the mat.
The QT Marshall's stalling to buy some time for the finish.
Hawser low blowed QT when Hawser went for the Tornado DDT.
QT returned the favor for a growing punch that set

(22:37):
up an avalanche cutter through a table with broken glass
on top. QT pinned Howser for the win. Afterwards, QT
gave a fist pound to the actor as a sign
of respect for his toughness. ROH World Tag Team Championship,

(22:59):
Rush with a mystery partner against the Outrunners. Rush was
surprised by his mystery partner as Sammy Guevara Lean Heel
in this match, hamming it up with a rush down
the stretch. The Outrunners had a furious rally. Sammy ended

(23:23):
that momentum by shoving Truth Magnum off the turnbuckle. Rush
suplexed Turbo Floyd into the corner. An Elterito Blanco followed
for the Bull's horn dropkick, the tag to Sammy for
the dive onto Floyd for the win.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
And new ROH World Tag champions.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
Afterwards, the Van Erks confronted Sammy the Spanish Gods tried
to make peace with a hug, then he turned on
them with a superkicks.

Speaker 3 (24:01):
On the Erics.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
In the ROH World Championship match, Bandido put his title
on a line against Hencero. The Loutradors put on a
five star classic wrestling match for over thirty minutes. The
climax began with an X need from Bandido to sit
up to twenty one plex, Hencero blocked the finisher. After

some matt rowling, Bandido gained the edge again. That led
to a moon Salt slam another twenty one plex. Nope,
hence Ro blocked it again. Bandido was able to roll
through for a bridging Germans u plex to win. Definitely
check this match out. Excellent battle between a technician and

a high flyer.

It was.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
As they say in the BIZ a Chef's Kiss. We
then had the main event, the ROH Women's World Championship match,
as the eternal champion Athena went against Mina Shikara. This

was a great main event. They touched a fund to
start with the Blue Mini as one of Athena's minions
in training. You know Blue Meani ecw legend, the Blue
World Order leader been around for decades. Athena did the

(25:38):
dance too, as Athena posed. Mina danced with Mini once
Athena saw that she was irate and showed Mini away.
The women wrestled for about twenty five minutes. The story
was Mina's broken hand and Athena's knee as a target
of drastic pain. Down the stretch, Mina exploded with a

Florida strikes a spinning backfist set up for the Mina Driver,
but the champ kicked out of the cover. Athena turned
the tide for good with a straight jack of power bomb.
The fallen Goddess perched on the turn buckle for an
oh faced flying stunner. It was beautiful, as Athena remains

the forever champion. You know, with everything going on with WWE,
making you guys, making us wrestling fans, keep on purchasing
all these streamings services in order to watch your events.

in intensive care. But it doesn't stop there. There's so

who intervened and saved Psycho Steu's life, and Ian Morgan

appeared on the Scaling Up podcast to discuss the incident
between Jackson and Stue over that very weekend. Morgan in
particular was very vocal regarding the situation and revealed that
Knox ex Pro management is advising talent not to speak
to the police directly. In regarding this incident, I have

been slowly distancing myself from this brand because I am
not surprised at all that this happened, Ian Morgan said,
But the most disgusting thing is that people at this
school are being encouraged to not cooperate with the police.

From what I hear, the police were there investigating the
scene shortly after Stu was removed, and there has been
multiple requests that have gone downstream from upper management to
not to talk to police directly if they are contacted,

guys let your friend almost die and now you're trying
