Speaker 6 (04:26):
We are in normal, Alabama at Lewis Crew Stadium for
a week ten action in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Alabama
A and M host Prairieview A and M in the
West versus East matchup. The Bulldogs wos to bounce back
at home after back to back losses, while Purview enters
as the Slack West leader. Known for their elite defense
and distemplay. Both teams are searching for momentum heading into
(04:48):
the final stretch of the season. Hello to our friends
in Texas. We are so excited to be simocasting and yeah, man,
it's just great vibes, great energy here today. So lo
to our heroes. Today is military Appreciation Day, and as
we look out at Louis Creuz Stadium, there are a
ton of cammouflage outfits and attire. So to all of
(05:12):
our listeners to are veterans or active, thank you so
much for your service. Maurice Brooks, it's game.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
Day, Ty, it is game day. I'm glad to be
back at home. These Bulldogs are three and zero at
contest here at Lewis Cruz Stadium, and I'm looking forward
to seeing them come onto this field. And they're all maroon.
They're looking great today and now holding down the fort
and continuing to make sure that these Bulldogs are not
(05:39):
only undefeated at home, but also plammed the door shut
on the purview A and m's chances at winning the
Flack West.
Speaker 6 (05:47):
Before we get into the action, we're going to pause
briefly for a.
Speaker 8 (05:50):
Station identification ninety point nine WJAV FM, Huntsville at all
the web at WJAV dot org. Smooth ass and cool Vocals,
a Broadcast Service of Alabama A and M University.
Speaker 6 (06:07):
Thank you so much. So as we talk about this game,
we talked about the implications in the pregame show with
Johnsy Standards and Evan Hayes. As we look at the Bulldogs, Maurice,
what are some of York keys to victory?
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Well tied, These Bulldogs are gonna have to protect the President.
Purview A and M and our offensive line more specifically
had am off day against Rambling State last week, and
now we're gonna need them to come in and protect
this president because Eric Hanley is back under center. He's
coming back from an injury. He didn't play last week,
and it's going to be important that he doesn't see
(06:44):
too many hits and he gets himself the chance to
not only get the ball in motion, but also set
up the pass because Purview A and M are their passion.
Defense is first in the slack. In the slack, and
if the Bulldogs are going to get that air attack going,
if they're gonna if anything going on the ground, they're
gonna have to start in the air.
Speaker 6 (07:03):
In agreement with you there, Maurice. Also returning for the
Bulldogs not just easy Hanley, but one of the top
offensive targets in tray Deontae Abner, who suffered an injury
just hours before heading to Mobile or the Gulf Coast Tallenge,
has some surgery, did some rehabilitation, and you really couldn't
(07:23):
keep a guy like him off of the field. He
wanted to come back, I would say more than he
wants to breathe. So we're I'm excited to see what
he's got today. The injury bug has hit Alabama A
and M severely over the course of this season, obviously
losing Cornelius Frown the fourth Maurice Edwards has an ankle sprain.
(07:44):
Cayden Dixon, one of our standouts on special teams, will
not be playing today as well, And so Bulldogs are
gonna have to embody that next man up mentality, which
has honestly been the theme and the motto of this season.
And they've got to go out and compete against a
very good prairiew A and M teams.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
You said it time. These Bulldogs have had the struggle
with the injury bug all season long, and we've seen
them come up in spots and play a little bit
over their weight class. And today against the pearls of
the Slack West, they're gonna have to step up big.
Speaker 6 (08:19):
They definitely are going to have to step up big,
and coach Aid has talked a lot about just having
that next man up mentality and making sure that these
guys are aware that any given Saturday, somebody will have
to come in and make an impact. As Aiden Webb,
the six foot three, one hundred and seventy pounds redshirt
freshman from Dallas, Texas, is going to kick the ball
(08:41):
off and back to returns will be Jalen Peterson and Anaron.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
Rodgers, and the kick is up and it will be
a touchback.
Speaker 6 (08:51):
So Eric Hamley and the Bulldogs will start on the
twenty five yard line.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
Bulldogs right out the gate, having to face their biggest
tests on the day so far. They're gonna have to
dock dropped all the way down the field. Of course,
we got three out, We got Abner back, and he's
going to be big. As far as setting up this
passing game and giving Hanley another target. Last time he
was out he did target ten different receivers. So that
nice little spreading the ball action is gonna have to
(09:18):
get the Bulldog down the field.
Speaker 6 (09:19):
Here as in looking out onto the field, it's going
to be Abner pain starting our running back and the
gun with Eric Hanley is going to be Ryan Morrow,
and then you have this two true freshman with him,
Addis and Jordan chamber Smith, who gets to pitch pass
and he'll be taking out of mouths to the pair
of you. Sideline correction is actually Damian Walker out on
(09:41):
the field who's got to bring up.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Second and ten Bulldog getting it started with a short
pass behind the line of scrimmage, just trying to get
themselves in motion. And it looks like the Bulldogs are
just going to be running the ball today again. That
pass defense from pair of you A and M very formidable.
Speaker 6 (09:56):
It's going to be second and eight ball on the
twenty sixty yard line. You have to think that's soon.
Trey Abner has been out for a couple of weeks.
They're going to kind of maybe ease him into play today.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Well, I wouldn't like. I wouldn't see that Trey Abner
was walking on his boot trying to get onto the
field when he was injured, So I wouldn't be a
magic surprised vegans in.
Speaker 6 (10:16):
Hind the ball lost the Ryan Morrow and very quickly
to get out on him will be prarieview A and
M's number six, the leak Bootcakes.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
Yeah, boot Cake blows up that hole and just gets
himself white half that line of scrimmage, and it was
it looked like it was the ball was fumbled. It
was recovered by us, but man, what a tackle by
book Perry View.
Speaker 6 (10:40):
A and M's defense leaves to slack a limited plus
the plays and rally to the football. Last week we
saw against Grambling just how tough it was for Alabama
A and M to really get anything going. I mean,
Dady Davis was taking his in an eight man's protection.
So this game they have definitely got to do much better.
(11:04):
As it'll bring up third and sixteen ball on the
nineteen yard line. Eric Hanley Saxon's nap, hands the ball
off again to Ryan Marrow, who shoots up the gap,
bounces out to the outside and he will be brought
down by the Pravy and M Panthers.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Marrow had some open space on that outside edge, but
Purview comes in quickly and snuffs it out. Both those
unable to even get back to the line of scrimmins,
let alone the first down. That's going to be an
unfortunate three and out start the game.
Speaker 6 (11:30):
Rob Cole comes out onto the field, will punt the
ball all back to received number ten Andre Dennis of
the Prairieview A and M football team. And if you're
just now joining us, especially to our friends in Texas, Hey, hello,
how are you? As Rob Cole puts total leather fair
catch's going to be caught at around the thirty eight
(11:51):
yard line. And as we're looking out at Lewis Cruz
Stadium right now, the Panther faithful have traveled very very well.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
Yeah they have. Its great to see opposing fans come
all the way out, especially all the way off from Texas.
What's up to all the folks in Perview listening to
us at home? And great to know that your fans
are coming out and you guys are listening in.
Speaker 6 (12:14):
Also want to give a shout out to doctor Prince.
Doctor Prince is holding it down over in the studio
at Prairie View A and Them. Great guy. Got to
sit down with him yesterday. And you know, you love
when we have our rivalries, we have our classics, we
have you know, competition, but to be able to have
people like doctor Prince just speak so much life in
(12:37):
to you is amazing. It'll be first and ten. Cameron
Peters starting quarterbacks. He's lined up in the gun, short
passing to the flat and Trayvon Jones takes up some
significant yardage.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
Well the preview, Panthers kind of go for a fake
handoff and end up giving the little pass. It gets
great Yardage's.
Speaker 6 (12:59):
Wanting to be second down. Montreal Campbell is the one
to make that castle and the gun again it is Peters.
Peters hands the ball off, running back, shoots up the middle.
It'll be Chase Singman and that'll be a first down
for the Panthers.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
Yeah, and they're Chase BigMan. He is their leader in
rushing so far this season. Pantherers go for a fake
handoff and get the Bulldogs to go to sleep a
little bit. He just runs up the guts.
Speaker 6 (13:27):
Peters takes a snap, hands the ball off again to
Bingman there to make the tackle for the Bulldogs. It's
gonna be number five. Anthony Fieldings from a pop to.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
Florida and what a reed box. Fielding gets himself in
the way of big I'm trying to go to the
outside edge, force them back inside and catches the shoelace
as he tries.
Speaker 6 (13:49):
To it's gonna be second and eight. Ball is going
to be placed on the forty nine yard line. Peters
hands the ball off better bring him down. Two Bulldogs
Luddy Desmond James there to make this stop along with
Wyatt Wright try Praby tries to go one more time
for that run.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
He does a little stutter stuff but doesn't really move
and the Bulldogs don't fall for They wrap them up cleanly.
Speaker 6 (14:14):
It's gonna be third and seven. It's been tough for
the Bulldogs over the course of the season. As it
comes down to third down conversion, Corey Terrell the p
announs start trying to get the Bulldogs baseball to make
some noise. Third and seven, balls on the thirty eight
yard line. Ball is handed off, bounce to the outside,
(14:35):
then you push that a bound Rodney Ojo on the carry.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
Serdew kind of gave away their hand. Rodney Ojo was
in move in motion before that play. He fakes the
He fakes the reception and then ends up running it
back anyway. Bulldog's ready for it after Whereby gives them
the after they give up the game.
Speaker 6 (14:56):
Let me fourth down and seven. Perriview is going to
go ahead and and go for it. It's gonna four down.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
In four It's gonna be a big one for these Bulldogs.
They need to make a stop here. It's a lot
of yards for Curvey to make up.
Speaker 6 (15:09):
Definitely need to get a turnover on down here. Peters
drops back into the pocket, fires the shot and it's
going to be dropped by Traymon Jones, the six foot
seven tight end from Miami, Florida. So that big Dog
defense makes the stand and they're able to get off
of the field. The score is zero zero, ten minutes,
(15:30):
twenty eight seconds in the first quarter.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
And the Bulldog catch a break there they had. They
had a wide open Jones who just drops the pass
and if he does catch that, he had nothing but
green grass in front of them. The six to seven,
the six seven receiver could have got six or seven
for a team if that pass was caught.
Speaker 6 (15:52):
You know, we talk a lot about this big Dog defense,
and especially as it pertains two third down conversions, just
how difficult has been them to be able to stop that.
But one thing that they do rank first in this
specific defensive category will be fourth down. They are the
first in the Slack to stop those fourth down conversions.
(16:12):
So good on the Bulldogs for being able to get
off the field. And now as we look out into
this continuation of the first quarter, what did the Bulldogs
offense need to do to get.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
Some points on the board. Well, this Bulldog offense is
gonna have to try the pass at least once. We
know that view is very very good at their pass defense.
But with Travontae Abnder back on the field for these
Bulldogs waiting chomping up a bit to get himself a pass,
I think you got to feed the dogs.
Speaker 6 (16:40):
The result of the last play is going to be
a turnover on downs. It's gonna be first and ten
ball at the thirty five yard line or the Bulldogs.
And so I came up with some keys to victory
for myself. You know I'm gonna call this tie take
right here and a little introduction of something new. So
we need to stabich rhythm early. We need a quick
(17:02):
start to set his tone at home when on early down.
So limoth the third and longs and sustain our drives.
Protective quarterback should be number one. Like I said, Jadie
Davis was taking some hits and eight man protection. That's
completely unacceptable. Prairie. You leaves the league in scoring. Defensive
drives on that pressure. We've talked about it, and then
defensively they've got to contain the run and forced Prairieview
(17:23):
to beat you in the A A A. I mean,
do you not remember the song?
Speaker 1 (17:29):
Don, I'm catching the mosteefs. I'm the most seas were dragging.
Speaker 6 (17:33):
I'm trying to you know you like you man?
Speaker 1 (17:36):
No, No, I'm seeing it. I'm seeing the venture right there,
Ty and yeah, Ty, you're right. These Bulldogs are gonna
have the again. Protect the President. Jad Davis was healthy
and like ed school, getting himself ready to get into
that game. And he called a bunch of hits and
we don't need that for Eric Handley getting himself to
start after coming back from an injury.
Speaker 6 (17:58):
Absolutely, and during the Coach Show, make sure you tune
in every Sunday at ten thirty on Fox fifty four
if you're here in Huntsville. You could also look at
it on YouTube. When I talked to Coach Shade, he
said that even though we saw Eric Hanley before the
game running jumping, he wasn't fully at one hundred percent,
which is why they played J. D.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
Davis.
Speaker 6 (18:17):
As Hanley has lined up on the pistol, hents the
ball off to Ryan Moro, who tries to shoot up
that gap. He's pushing the pio, but he is going
to be down for no games.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
Bulldogs. I'm sorry, good Bulldogs try and go up the
gup one more time. But again they've only ran the
ball so far today and that's Perview's waiting for it.
They don't even get They actually barely get a yard
of game off that play.
Speaker 6 (18:39):
It's going to be second and nine ball on the
thirty six yard line. But coach Shade said that Hanley
wasn't looking at one hundred percent, So imagine if he
hadn't made that great judgment call put him in the game,
especially with how great Grambling was playing. As he fakes
the handoffs and play action. The ball has passed to
Trey Abner. Abner who we haven't seen he's since just
before the he's so post challenge.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
Yeah, that hungry dogs finally getting fed. Not gonna be
a big game, as he's caught on that low tackle
sweeping his legs up. But it's good to see him
get himself a reception and keep his hands on the ball.
Speaker 6 (19:15):
Got to warm him up because Like we said, he
has been injured for a while, but prior to his
injury he was a huge impact player. As that brings
up thirty seven ball on the thirty six yard line.
The Bulldogs have to do from the beg here get
this conversion as Hanley's take his nap drops back in
the pocket. Intended receiver was Davon Walker, and it's going
(19:38):
to be an incomplete pass that brings up Mors down
and coming out onto the field is Lob Cole and
the punting unit for still zero to zero. Nine minutes,
twelve seconds in.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
This first quarter, Bulldogs had a chance at Ryan Morrow.
He was freaking towards that far side boundary. But Eric
Hanley goes through regression justus a little bit too fast
and chooses option just a little bit too soon.
Speaker 6 (20:03):
And the Bulldogs looking all right right now. And I
know that that's not indicative of the score. However, just
considering what we've known, what we have watched from week
to week in terms of their struggles on these conversions,
these first couple of drives have looked good as Rob
Cole's hunt takes a generous bounce deep into Bulldog territory.
(20:26):
But it's going to be filled in and there to
meet that panther will be camp Vender in the Bulldogs.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
Bulldogs make sure to give the punt returner a little
bit of extra space, especially after the debacle last week,
and they wrap him up cleanly and make sure that
he's just short of getting himself a touchback for a team.
Speaker 6 (20:46):
Ooh wee. You know, I had just started to forget
about the debacle from last week, and you hear you though.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
Yeah, you know, I having to bring it up. I
didn't watch it at all, and then I looked at
it on Thursday and I was like, oh my goodness.
Speaker 6 (21:00):
Yeah, you know, I like to say I didn't go
to reference school. I don't know, but yeah, when you
look at this Prairie View often they have a number
of really really tall players. Multiple players are over six
foot as it first and ten and a hand dog
(21:24):
so be brought down by Anthony Fieldings. I'm so far
getting some help by the PA and out here Corey
Terrell on these calls. But yes, there are a ton
of players that are on the Prairie View side that
are extremely large, especially they're tied in target. Traylon Jones
(21:44):
is six foot seven it's going to be second and
nine ball, and it's going through the yard line. Peter's
safest now fires are shot down the middle, but it's
going to be incomplete.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
That's beautiful covered by our bulldogs. Comes over the top.
Make sure that Ojo can't get his hands on that
pass up the middle, and avoiding that pass up the
Mill's gonna be good for the Bulldogs because they've been
able to stop the run pretty handily. The big third
down coming up, it's going to.
Speaker 6 (22:08):
Be third down and nine ball on the twenty three
yard line. Peters is gonna be lined up in the gun.
They're looking over to the sideline. Vingman is in that
sidecar with him. They're looking over at the sideline, trying
to get the come in now for the Bulldogs, staying
(22:28):
ahead of the chains and making sure that ParaView doesn't
It's going to be big. As Peters drops back into
the pocket, he decides to take it on his own
legs and it'll be yet right there to make the tackle.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
And that's something that the Bulldogs have had a problem
with all season. That pocket will collapse, the quarterbacks will
scramble forward towards the middle, and the Bulldogs just wouldn't
have anybody over the middle to stop him. Great for
a while, right to be the guy to step up
and make that play so.
Speaker 6 (22:55):
The Alabama A and M Bulldogs will be received even
this punch seven minutes fifty one seconds in the first quarter,
zero to zero back to receive is going to be
Jordan Chambers Smith, the true freshman who has been doing
some great things over the course of the season, would
surely love for him to take it to the house.
(23:17):
That's a trick Daddy song.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
Okay.
Speaker 6 (23:19):
I don't know if you I don't know.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
If you up on that music, up on the music.
I think that one's like fifteen years old.
Speaker 6 (23:26):
It's a little bit older than that, Maurice, you might
not have even been a glimmer and your mom and
dad asked when that song came out. It's okay, though,
It's okay, y'all.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
Yeah, Oh wait, fifteen years ago. Actually, isn't that long
ago that I'm thinking about it.
Speaker 6 (23:40):
It's okay, Maris, I got you back. I'm always here
to keep you updating on the good music. Can you
know who else is WJAB ninety point nine, So make
sure you tune in Aside from game day to get
some good dunes. As Jordan chamber Smith calls for a
fair catch and it's going to be taught at around
the thirty five year our line. So Eric Hanley and
(24:02):
companies will come out onto the field. We are going
to take a one minute grade. When we come back,
we have more bulldog football. You are listening to bulldog
football on the Aladema A and M Bulldogs s fourth Network,
WJB FM and WJAB dot org.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
You're listening to the open Mind Broadcast Network and I
simulcast broadcast coverage for the Prairieview and M University Panthers
and the Alabama A and M Bulldogs by w JAB
un zeal Alaba Down. I'm miss Tyd Floyd on the call.
Panthers hadn't done much yet, but getting ready to do
(25:07):
what they can with the next series of downs. Want
to thank the Prairie the Athletic Club, and I'm the
writer with the simulcast. We'll be heading back to Hauntsfield
at the end of the break for more live coverage
right here at the open Mic Broadcast Network serving the
community through faith and Athletics.
Speaker 6 (25:31):
By ninety point nine, gonna send it over to my
co hosts and color commentator Mare Brooks. He has something
on the Prairie U, A and M.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
Polly done a little bit of team Retharchs of Opposition
Rethirts against thir of you, A and M, and we
found out the head coachter Maine Jackson, is actually a
pretty good dude. Last week when they played against the
album of date prav You A and M gave out
three tick. It's all to the first one thousand federal
workers who attended the game and for During the Black
(26:07):
coach's presser, he said that the way that he was raised,
if he saw something, he was gonna say something. And
he saw that there were people struggling in the community,
and he said, why not have them enjoy a great
game of football, which last week it was a very
great game of football. Didn't go on Prayer View's way,
but definitely something for the fans to look out for
and you know, spend a little bit of extra time
(26:27):
having some fun.
Speaker 6 (26:29):
Just want to send our heart and our love to
everyone who is affected by the government shut down, everyone
who is furloughed, especially around the holidays. We're sending you
our love and we hope that everything continues to get
better and that we turn a corner as we head
into this here seven minutes fifty four seconds. The store
(26:51):
is zero and zero two zero. It will be first
intent at the thirty four for the Bulldogs. Eric Hanley
is going to be lined up in done with Isaiah
Wote king quote. Two receivers to the right towards the
preview and in sideline one on the left. Got some
room to work, that is Frank Pierre as the ball
will be throwing the waking quot.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
Woll king quote gives himselves a nice reception and that
is the third different Bulldog receiver that we've seen here
early into this first quarter, and it's great to see
that Eric Hanley saw that progression. He tried to do
that last time and miss Marrow on the far side
of the field. This time he gets will King quote
and he's wide open.
Speaker 6 (27:31):
The all hands on deck year for as the Bulldogs.
This is a game that is going to require everyone
to be on their piece of h as Hanley is
lined up in the gun with Waking Quotes, who has
left some motion in the backfield by Abner and a
shot fired down the sideline of Frank Pierre, and it'll
be incomplete.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
Unfortunate pass for do Frank Pierre. It was just a
little short he tried to fight for and able to
come up with. That's great coverage by that Panther's DV
and what a block by Trey Abner gets themselves on
that strong side of the line and gives Eric Hanley
twenty a time to get that throwoff.
Speaker 6 (28:13):
Gray Abner returns after an injury sustained just before heading
to the Gold to the Challenge. On the season, he
has twenty five catches for three hundred and thirty yards
three touchdowns, so I know the Bulldogs are happy to
have him back. As it'll be first and three. Eric
Hanley decides to keep the ball and he will take
the distance and so it'll be a fresh set of
(28:33):
down for the Bulldogs.
Speaker 1 (28:35):
Bulldog gets themselves a nice first down, even catching Kennedy
Parker the edge rusher throwing or running back to the ground.
They not looking for the right dude.
Speaker 6 (28:48):
In the pregame show, chahun K Sanders and Evan Haynes
talked about ec the Hip Hops Preacher coming to campus,
and I think it really gave these guys an extra
source of motivation that is being displayed on the Sales
will touch on that more. As this first and ten
fall on the forty six yard line, Eric Hanley hands
the ball up to Woking Quo, who shoots up the
gap and he has two men to be he's there,
(29:10):
keeps going and he'll be brought out just shy of
the ten yard line. But there is a flag on
the field.
Speaker 1 (29:19):
Unfort lawyer. Looks like it might be against our bulldogs.
Speaker 6 (29:24):
Oh no, it'll be on the Prairie View defense. It
was off side. So Bulldogs knocking on the door of
the end zone hoping to put some points on the board.
Score zero zero with schal with a time of six
minutes nineteen seconds, and this is gonna be.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
One of the bulldogs best chances to get themselves in
and scoring position. They go to that path, set up
a great rubber King quo and now Bulldogs are gonna
have to capitalize and get some points on the board.
Speaker 6 (29:55):
Alabama A and M, when they get close, they'll finish
as Handley hit of all lost to will King quote
again and he'll take it for a couple of yards.
This Alabama A and M offense in terms of red
zone will be third in the Slack. So one day
approach that red zone twenty seven scores on thirty one
(30:18):
trips with twenty two touchdowns over the course of this season,
and so Eric Hanley looking to make that happen once again.
Speaker 1 (30:25):
Well, I like those numbers for its side. Bullball is
quite efficient in the red zone. They try and go
for that sos, same old, same play. What King Quot
tries A want to be outside edge Pervie ready for it. However,
so now bullballs are gonna have to write up something
a little different to get themselves over the line.
Speaker 6 (30:43):
He's going to be second and eleven ball on the
fifteenth yard line. Eric Hanley in the gun, got the
motion by Trey Abner from Tierana Island to work by himself.
Hanley goes through his progressions, intended target with bee Trey
Abner in the past going to be incomplete.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
Hanley, with just no time and no space to find
himself a receiver, ends up throwing it out of bound.
Hopefully was praying that maybe Trey Abner made the superman
leap five feet into the air to make the grabs.
Unfortunately we don't live in such a timeline.
Speaker 6 (31:17):
A great showing by this Alabama A and M offensive
line who I'm sure was put through the Alexander last
week for the performance. And just how many times JD.
Davis got touched. It'll be third and eleven bow on
the fifteen yard line. Hanley lined up in the guns. Well,
(31:38):
King quotes two is right. He jumps back in the pocket,
rolls out to his right, intended receiver again, Trey Abner,
and it's going to be incomplete.
Speaker 1 (31:47):
Bulldog's trying to go for that same play once again.
Trey Abner still in great coverage by Cameron Ammo, and
he makes sure that these Bulldogs can't unload the clips.
They'll have to settle for a field goal.
Speaker 6 (32:01):
I wonder if her, you, A and M somehow got
the uh got the memo that Trey Abner was going
to be returning, because they've been on him like White
on Rice this entire game.
Speaker 1 (32:16):
Well, he is a dangerous receiver. I put two men
on him if I had to.
Speaker 6 (32:20):
David Foalks puts total leather. The kick is up, got
Premiere on it, and it'll be good. So the score
will be three Perry U A M. Zero four minutes,
fifty four seconds left in this first quarter. If you
are joining us in Texas, Hello, Thank you so much
for listening to WJAD ninety pointy nine SM special shout
(32:40):
out to doctor Prince who was holding you down in Texas.
Thank you so much for your hard work. We are
going to take a two win a break. When we
come back. You have more bulldog football. You were listening
to bulldog football on the Alabama A and M Bulldog
Sports Network WJBFM and WJAD dot Ork.
Speaker 2 (33:06):
That what you do up that up? Think a.
Speaker 6 (35:10):
Lewis Stadium, common Littlefield kicks the ball off and be
fielded around the thirty yard line, taken to just inside
the forty and those pretty short kids kind of uncharacteristic
of little Field.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
Yeah, it looks like Bogue. I want to think the
pulldogs is kind of go for something a little bit special,
kind of squibbing it. But that one just gets a
little bit too much vertical not enough horizontal, and that
steps up Purview with some decent field position. As they
start their drives.
Speaker 6 (35:45):
It will be first and ten ball on the thirty
six yard line, four minutes fifty seconds left in this
first quarter. I would have an them three prayer view
and them zero as Peters gonna be lined up in
the gun hands the ball off to his running back
who tries to shoot up that gap, but he's going
to be brought down and pushed back pretty far by
(36:07):
Xavier Booker.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
The Panthers have not been able to get that one
game going. They're trying to go up the gut one
more time and it's steal doesn't work out for him.
Perview only at twenty rushing yards on the game, and
that's been their bread and butter play so far.
Speaker 6 (36:23):
We talked about it off air as that brings up
second and eight ball on the thirty nine yard line
that because Peters threw four picks in the game last
week against Alabama State, they might be playing a little
bit conservative that Peters decides to keep it himself, tries
to go up that gap, but he's going to trip
and fall.
Speaker 1 (36:41):
Peter's getting caught up by one of our bulldogs. If
you tried to escape that pocket me personally, I'm gonna
continue with the agenda and say that might have been
the old turf Monster, the big twelfth man coming in
and helping your bulldog.
Speaker 6 (36:54):
That turf Monster has been an issue for opposing teams,
and I guess you know, going on through the season,
that might be on the scout report for next year.
Anybody who comes to normal be aware, and that brings
you up third and eight fall on the forty yard line.
Peters is going to be lined up in the gun
once again. Perry View A and M seemingly playing a
(37:14):
little bit conservative and Peters takes the handoff. He drops
back in the pocket. Kylon Roberts was there to put
some pressure, but he finds an open receiver and he'll
be tackled by Desmond James because I'll be a fresh
set of downs for the Panthers.
Speaker 1 (37:29):
Man Desmond James was down a big hit on that
Prayerview receiver on him though that he did not enjoy
the fact that they just puts the field almost so for.
Speaker 6 (37:41):
Two consecutive drives, the Big Dogs defense has been able
to get Prairie View A and M out on three
and own that first turnover on downs and now they
have converted the first down. As Peters hands the ball
off to Chase Bingman, who's going to be brought down
by a number of bulldogs.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
Bulldogs to not bite on the run. They still are
able to hold him to a few yards. He gets
three on that carry.
Speaker 6 (38:10):
So that'll bring up second and seven, ball on the
steady yard line. Handoffs to Bemmon again.
Speaker 1 (38:17):
And once again another big Dog stops third and five
and Bulldogs step up and make the and make sure
that Purview is only getting that one chunk.
Speaker 6 (38:27):
Players drug that'll make that hit is Jalen Right fight
for eleven two hundred and sixteen pounds, red shirt freshman
from redshirt sophomore from Birmingham, Alabama. Third and five ball
on the thirty three yard line. Right has fifty six
tackles on this season. As Peters takes the snap, tries
(38:51):
to shoot up the gap, tries to do a.
Speaker 1 (38:52):
Spin move, and there's that run defense again. He can
spend in trial. He once he just kids himself into
the tumble cycle instead and hits the ground well short
of the line of games.
Speaker 6 (39:05):
Desmond James once again there to make an impact on
that play. So I'll bring a fourth down in four
with the ball on the twenty eight yard line. Their kicker,
Aiden Webb Communic kicks the pre and long field goal.
Speaker 1 (39:21):
Yeah they're doing this one from about forty just about
forty yards.
Speaker 6 (39:28):
Yeah. Web kicks the ball and it's going to be
no good. So Bulldogs remain up Bulldog three Perry you
a and them zero one minute, ten seconds left in
this first quarter and the past two weeks we have
(39:50):
dealt with some bull crushing loads. I mean, the Magic
City Classic was a tough one, and then last week
that was a hard one as well, especially since Bulldogs
had it in their hands and it just escapes. So
now to be able to see how they've played over
the course of this first quarter pretty exciting. It's pretty
good to see.
Speaker 1 (40:09):
Of course, ty, and it's great to be Bulldogs not
only getting themselves in position after allowing a big chunk
play like that pass down the field that flipped the
field entirely for the Panthers, but also just holding them
to three points and now getting in the way of
that extra kit to make sure that they don't even
get the three points that they were almost given versus.
Speaker 6 (40:32):
Hand Eric Hanley is so he lined up in the
gun with trips to the right, He rolls out, passes
the ball to front Pierre and it is going.
Speaker 1 (40:39):
To be complete Bulldogs still trying to go through these
passes in the flat. We've only seen that one big
bomb to Pierre and it almost worked out for him.
I love to see them try a little bit something longer.
Speaker 6 (40:54):
Forty seven seconds left in this quarter. Eric Hanley when
he lined up in the gun to these second names
all on the thirty three yard lines to motion in
the backfield by Parker and Abner. Handley takes the snap,
(41:14):
drops back in the pocket, fires a shot and it's
going to be incomplete. The intended receiver was going to
be Miles Parker, who is notorious on coming in on
these third downs. On the second down and longs to
get a fresh set of down for the Bulldogs.
Speaker 1 (41:31):
Yeah, and he steps up and tries to weep over
his defender to catch that ball, ends up getting knocked
out if he comes down across his helmet and unfortunately,
the Bulldogs are on third down looking to stop another
throwing out.
Speaker 6 (41:45):
Third and nine ball on the twenty eight yard line
hovering near thirty six percent. Staying ahead of the chains
will be critical for the Bulldogs. Darren ninth in the
slack on third down conversions. As Handley passes the ball,
who I ay Craig and he will get a fresh
set of downs for the Bulldogs.
Speaker 1 (42:04):
As time is expiring and Andre Craig making the leap
and grab no defender there to knock it out with
the helmet. And that's a first set of down to
these Bulldogs and now are able to get themselves up
with the fields and end the first quarter on a
good note.
Speaker 6 (42:19):
Ending the first quarter up on Prairie View A and
MS three two zero. This Bulldog team feeling not juice,
feeling that energy. We are going to take a too
minute break. When we come back, we have more Bulldog football.
You are listening to Bulldog football on the Alabama and
M Bulldogs both network, WJABFM and WJAD dot org.
Speaker 2 (43:09):
A thin, thin.
Speaker 6 (43:44):
Thin welcome back to Lewis Cruze Stadium where the score
(44:56):
is three two zero Alabama A them is up fifteen
minutes started the second quarter here, and I mean, this
has been a pretty good showing from the Bulldogs who
probably has a bad taste in their mouth over the
past couple of weeks having to deal with back to
(45:18):
back losses and not only that, I mean a tough
one last week and Grambling that seemingly just slipped right
out of our hands as the Bulldogs led for over
fifty minutes of that game.
Speaker 1 (45:32):
Yeah, it was unfortunate one, and but we're here now.
One week later, Bulldogs leading once again, and not only that,
their run defense has been great so far. They've pail
Chase Bigham, the Purview leader in rushing to eighteen yards
in the first quarter, and if they can continue that
and get themselves down the field with this offensive attack,
(45:54):
they'll be set to get themselves an uncontroversial one.
Speaker 6 (45:59):
Cochet looking at established the running game as first and
ten ball on the forty two yard line, currently Alabama
and M's and rushing as it's some play action Miles
Parker gets a pass in the flat and he will
have a gain of a couple of yards.
Speaker 1 (46:12):
Parker gets himself that path on the outroute and explodes
down the line, gets themselves a few yards on the
on the path and great season. These out rousts will
the Bulldogs starting to come together and get some yardage
that'll bring up.
Speaker 6 (46:27):
Second down and six ball on the forty two yard line.
Eric Hanley looking over to the sideline, getting his commands
from the coaching staff. Hilly lined up in the gun
with Woke King close to his right. He takes the snap.
They will handle it and then quick to jump out
on him. Will be the Prairie View hands third maybe they.
Speaker 1 (46:48):
Got out a little too quick. There's a flag that
got thrown immediately at that play started.
Speaker 6 (46:52):
We'll stand back to the officials, so offside on the defense.
It'll be a five yard penalty. So that'll bring up
third down and waiting here, he'll be first down in ten.
(47:15):
It was offside penalty. My apologies. So Eric Hanley, some
fresh set of downs and fourteen minutes, three seconds to
work as Alabama and m is up three two zero.
It's all gonna be on the twenty nine yard line.
Handley takes the snap, drops back in the pocket, fires
a shot down to the sideline, intended receiver Andre Craig,
(47:40):
and it is going to be.
Speaker 1 (47:41):
Incomplete and Andre Craig trying to give it all, give
it his all to make that catch. But what defense
by per reviews DV, he gets himself. He gets a
hand in there and make sure it was Eric Zachery
on the coverage and he made sure that Andre doesn't
have a chance to make that play at all.
Speaker 6 (48:02):
So it's going to be third down and one ball
is going to be on the forty nine yard line.
Eric Hanley woking quote Craig Walker. The motion in the
backfield by Craig, Hanley hands the ball off and bulldogs.
Speaker 1 (48:24):
He's gonna get that for now, finally pushing the pyelon
a little bit further. They only needed a yard to
get that first and the run is doing its job.
Speaker 6 (48:35):
That's one of the things Coach Shape said over the
course of this league in the interview with John C.
Sanders as well as the Coaches Show that you could
catch every Sunday at ten thirty on Fox fifty four
if you're here in Huntsville. Then he wanted to establish
this running game is It'll bring up first and ten
ball on the forty fifth yard line. Eric Hanley awaiting
(48:57):
the snap. Andre Craig with the motion in the back
fields in the game is a big boozer backs. The
pass was intended for Trey Abner and it's going to
be incomplete.
Speaker 1 (49:06):
That Handley to add my connection, just a little receison
after a few weeks of being off of each other,
but Eric Hanley just a little bit too strong and
behind him with that pass. But hopefully as a game
goes on, that'll be one of those things that they
find gelling together very quickly.
Speaker 6 (49:25):
Second and ten ball on the forty six yard line,
Handley in the gun. Was Colton Nero, one of our
bigger backs. Some play action Damian Walker the intended receiver,
and it's going to be incomplete. I mean I thought
(49:46):
I saw a little handsy. Maybe maybe not.
Speaker 1 (49:51):
No, I think well sides, this is a physical game.
They're always going to get a little handsy. But nothing
that was that would alarm your eye to get some
get a rough free to throw some laundry on the field.
That's just great coveras and a great path by Hanley
gives Walker a little bit of room to work with,
but that DV got them covered.
Speaker 6 (50:09):
Eric Hanley suffered an injury on his non throwing arm.
It was an ac joint brain and although it didn't
impact his throwing arm, I like to see him putting
it in the air. His first game back, thirty ten
ball on the three sixty yard line, Handley lined up
in the gun once again, two receivers to the right.
He drops back in the pocket and throws it out
(50:31):
of bounds.
Speaker 1 (50:32):
Hanley gives that one just a little bit too much
air and on third down that's a very what they
would call a competitive pass towards his receiver, and that's
going to get the Bulldogs off the field and with
nothing to show for it.
Speaker 6 (50:47):
I would have an AMM three Prayrieview A and M zero.
Twelve minutes fifty second. Rob Coal comes down onto the
field to hunt d ball off and back to receive
for Prairieview, and then we'll be Andre Dennet. Rob Cole
(51:08):
received the snaps, hunts the ball off and it's going
to take a very healthy bounce and there to get it.
We'll be the Bulldog. So they were able to get
it just before it hit out of bounds, and so
Periview will start deep in their own.
Speaker 1 (51:25):
Territory and it's great to see that Bulldog. Special teams
get to work and make sure that Perview has a
lot of work to do if they're going to get
themselves down this field and score. Great to apply that pressure.
We had five men down the field ready and chomping
at the bit to get that ball, and the Purview
gets out of the way and gives the Bulldogs the
(51:47):
chance to get a big stop here in the second.
Speaker 6 (51:52):
We are going to take a one minute break. When
we come back, Evan Haynes will bring us out with
some scores around the APCU landscape. I heard it was
a great game against Morgan State, and Delaware State, who
is in control of the MIAC will have more on that.
You are listening to Bulldogs football on the Alabama and
M Bulldog Sports Network, wab f M and w W dot.
Speaker 9 (52:13):
Work and we are back with Alabama and in football.
(53:27):
Is currently twelve forty one left in the second quarter
and the score is three to zero Bulldog this way,
We're gonna go over the score in the NEC Currently
Norfolk State and INT Central at hasstime with NT Central
up seventeen to seven. Currently Howard is down big the
SEC State thirty five to three with eight oh seven
left in the third quarter.
Speaker 1 (53:47):
And the early early outcome.
Speaker 9 (53:51):
From yesterday, Delaware State beat Morgan State in a pivotal
fourteen to twelve win in a Friday night primetime game.
Let it was face on a low tie. Deshaun Jackson
is doing everything for that school right now. Talk about
Delaware State lose.
Speaker 6 (54:07):
We turned this program around and as you've known, we've
talked about over the course of the past few weeks,
every team's goal is to end in Atlanta at the
celebration goal. And for Delaware State, a team that has
really never seen the celebration, gowl. This is going to
be big. Dare I say they're the new Kings though
to me act we'll see. They have a big test
(54:28):
next week against South Carolina State, who you mentioned is
up on Howard's first down for the Panthers. It it's
going to be ah It looks so close to a safety.
Speaker 1 (54:42):
It looks super close to a safety. Tie looked like
Bigham was on that carry and he falls forward at
the goal line, thankfully for him, gets that knee down
right in some green pratory, not the maroon.
Speaker 6 (54:58):
So it's going to be second and end ball on
the one yard line. Peters in his own end zone.
Speaker 1 (55:06):
Bulldogs seem to be sending everyone trying to force the safety.
Right here.
Speaker 6 (55:11):
Peters makes the snaps, hands the ball off and up safety.
It is to be interesting. I'll be there to make
the big hit. Van Hazey, you saw it before it
even happened.
Speaker 9 (55:23):
Yes, it seems like we dout of a heavy blitz
of gold line sit seen before the Bulldogs to force
a safety, Like you said, beyond be got in the backfield,
got bigum and forced a safety that forced the lead
to five to zero. We're that's going on the offense
side of the ball. But the defense is doing their job.
Speaker 6 (55:40):
That big Dog defense taking care of business. The score
five Alabama A and M. Curry View A and M
zero eleven minutes, fifty four seconds in this second quarter,
and you have to be excited about what the Bulldogs
are doing here on the field today.
Speaker 1 (55:56):
Yeah, I'm super excited for what I'm seeing today.
Speaker 2 (55:59):
Tie.
Speaker 1 (55:59):
Bulldog has held the Panthers to twenty nine rushing yards
on the game, not just the quarter, on the game.
And we've seen how that Bulldog defense has where we
struggled against the run, and now they've been able to
take down one of their old folds running the ball.
Now they can get themselves on the board and get
themselves a few points to the defense.
Speaker 9 (56:19):
Ki gree marives we cannot raise enough about the Bulldog
running defense over the past two weeks. Last week against
Grabmany Stay only getting only allowed fifty one yards on
the ground, and they're seem to be picking up right
where they left off. As you said, twenty nine yards
on the ground. And when you swim up a team's
running in that forces them to be more predictable on
(56:40):
the offense side of the ball. As you mentioned, before
Cameron Peters had four kicks last week, so he could
have started fitting that pressure. They're gonna force Praisy to
air the ball up, absolutely, and these Bulldogs are gonna
have to get a little bit aggressive on that past
defense ause the Prayerview offense is going to be forced.
Speaker 1 (56:55):
To switch it up a little bit and maybe send
the ball in the air.
Speaker 6 (56:59):
Looking down at the sideline right now, nobody's more happy
than defensive coordinator Chris Stelling, who has just been kind
of going through it over the past couple of weeks
with some of our defensive woes. As Web kicks the
ball off, Aaron Rodgers bringing it out and he's going
to be down at the thirty five yard line, Folks,
(57:21):
Eric Hanley is going to get a first set of
downs at the thirty five yard line. Alabama A and
M five Prarie U am N zero. If you are
our friend listening to us in Texas, thank you so
much for tuning in. We are very excited to have you.
We talked earlier in the broadcast about how the Panther
Faithful did travel quite a few fans out on the
(57:44):
other side in that purple and go so shout out
to all of you. Eric Hanley first and ten, while
is going to be at the thirty five yard line.
He's going to be lined up in the gun, takes
the snap, hands the ball off running back choose up
the gap for a pretty large game. That's gonna beat
(58:05):
Colsoniro on the carrier.
Speaker 1 (58:06):
Coch Niro getting himself through that line, blasting through and
getting himself a few yards of boot after contact as well,
breaks into that secondary and it was almost open grass
for him.
Speaker 6 (58:20):
Eric Hanley second and four, ball on the foiling yard line.
Hanley returns after an injury sustained to the Magic City Classic.
He takes the snap, hands it off to cols Nio again,
who tries to go behind guard raymer Lewis and he'll
be tackled by the Cancers.
Speaker 1 (58:39):
Yees I tries to use raymer Lewis as that lead blocker,
chops his speed a little bit to get himself a
little time to work, but fur of you collapses on
them and make sure that these Bulldogs are gonna have
to convert another third down.
Speaker 6 (58:54):
Third and four Bulldogs. The game is sting ahead of
the chains. However, near thirty six ninth in the slack
on third down conversion there canley in the gun, got
two receivers to the left, one with some rooms to
(59:14):
work on the right, and there's going to be some
flags on the play, so we'll stand by. What's going
to be a timeout?
Speaker 1 (59:23):
Yeah, great, let's see that. The referees point towards the
Bulldogs s eyeline so fast. I was like, man, you
can call what the flag was.
Speaker 2 (59:32):
It is.
Speaker 6 (59:35):
Just I guess builds up a little anxiety when you
hear those whistles over the course of the season, chilly
peo or the thorn, and the Bulldogs side has been penalty,
so I can breathe a little bit easier.
Speaker 1 (59:47):
Yeah, and it's great to see us because Bulldogs were
ten have have called ten penalties and that has called them.
Have had given opposing team three ninety five yards of
free offense throughout this season. Bulldogs today keeping a clean sheet,
no penalty's on the board, and matter of fact, it's
(01:00:08):
going to clean game overall purview. The lone offside penalty
in the first quarter being the only penalty of the
day and that was only casting them five yards but
three points in the process.
Speaker 6 (01:00:20):
Last week, Alabama A and M had ten for ninety
five yards. Those are game killers, drive killers, and I
just wanted to emphasize your points there. We are going
to take a thirty second break. When we come back,
we have more football. You are listening to Bulldog football
on the Alabama and M Bulldog Sports Network, WABSM and
WJAB dot on Welcome back to Lewis Blu Stadium where
(01:01:20):
the score is five to zero.
Speaker 10 (01:01:23):
The Bulldogs are up.
Speaker 6 (01:01:24):
Ten minutes thirty one seconds in this second quarter here,
and we have talked significantly just about how great these
Bulldogs are doing. We're gonna pause briefly for a station identification.
Speaker 8 (01:01:40):
Ninety point nine w JB Frahm, Huntsville and on the
way at WJB dot org. Smooth Jazz and Cool Vocals,
a broadcast service of Alabama A and M University.
Speaker 6 (01:01:53):
Bulldogs Panthers. Back on the field. Is going to be
third and four of ball is going to be placed
on the fore yard line. Started to see what Sam
Shade and company were able to do. Draw up right
here to Hanley takes the snap, some play action passes
it to Trey Abner, who fights his way to get
(01:02:15):
him that first down.
Speaker 1 (01:02:16):
Big play Tray getting himself his first big play and
quite some time getting Bulldogs his first down, moving the
chains down the field, and it's great to see him
getting the action and feeding the bulldogs, finally feeding their
hungry dogs.
Speaker 6 (01:02:30):
Big play Tray. Been a while since we said that.
Hopefully we'll call that more over the course of this game,
fresh set of downs for Eric Hanley, who was also
making his returns back. Hanley hands the ball off well,
King quote, trying to find some rooms to run and
he's going to be tackled by this very chealthy, very
(01:02:52):
good hands Theirs defensive line.
Speaker 1 (01:02:55):
And how about gen quote in the backfield doing the
little tippy toe maneuver and getting the man below Yume
gets him to say, where you're going, get that guy
a map? Well, King Quo was not where he thought
he was.
Speaker 6 (01:03:07):
Well, King Quote is kind of like tackling a baby.
He's so small and like shifty, so he's able to
get through those gaps and really pushed as now Morrow
will come into the game running back by committee, second
and ten ball on the forty five yard line. Eric
Henley drops back in the pocket pass to the big
(01:03:28):
Donovan Paynes will.
Speaker 1 (01:03:29):
Be caught and Donovan Payne getting himself from the action
as well, and Bulldogs with a great pass over the middle,
get themselves down the field in a hurry and great
on Eric Hanley to fire a strike right at Donovan Payne.
We saw last week he was unable to make that
pass and just a little bit too tall over them
(01:03:49):
well week prior of State he's unable to make that pass.
But now coming together and getting a job done.
Speaker 6 (01:03:57):
Third and two ball at the forty eight yard line.
Eric Henley lined up in the gun. Two receivers to
the right. Hanley direct not to Ryan Morrow, and it
will look like it's forced down.
Speaker 1 (01:04:17):
Yeah, it's gonna be really close. Fourth and inches. Wouldn't
be surprised if Bulldogs go for it. How about the
wildcat coming back for these Bulldogs. You haven't seen that
since the Laying game over a month ago at this point.
Speaker 6 (01:04:31):
Yeah, that was a place pushed up and designed by
Dennis Alexander Son. Bring a fourth down in two fall
on the forty seven yard line. Eric Hanley and his
regular formation lined up in the gun. He takes the snap,
hands the ball off to Ryan Morrow, who pushes the
pile and he will get that first down. So a
(01:04:53):
first set it down for the Bulldogs.
Speaker 1 (01:04:55):
Why and Morrow able to hit that b gap on
the near side boundary and he's runs through that hole,
gets himself the first down and more.
Speaker 6 (01:05:04):
Props to the old man. He likes to joke and
say that he's just so old. Well, props to you
old man for getting that first down. The injury bug
has made its way to the Alabama A and m
running back edwards before then Kayden Dixon. Dixon will not
return this season, but Ryan Morrow, Colt Narrow and Isaiah
will King quote carrying that load as the handoff is
(01:05:26):
tomorrow again for the game of one won two.
Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
Yards and looks like that old dog guy two tricks.
He hits the hard cut and stops make makes the
defender missing, and cuts right back up the middle to
get himself a few yards on that carry. Wasn't a
big game, but definitely was beautiful.
Speaker 6 (01:05:46):
Second and nine fall on the forty one yard line,
Fulldogs looking to get into that end zone. We'll send
the backfield by Parker. Hanley's tay to snap passed it
to Parker who was opened in the flat, but Miles Parker,
(01:06:07):
who stands at five foot six, passes way too high.
Speaker 1 (01:06:12):
Yeah, and not only that, It was Darryl Sterling Junior
on the way towards Eric Hanley with no great intentions
for him and forces Eric Hanley to get that pass
up a little rushed and he just throws it over
his receivers.
Speaker 6 (01:06:28):
So they bring up third down and nine Albema A
and M five, Travy A and M zero. Six minutes
thirty eight seconds left in this quarter. Eric Hanley and
the gun makes the snaps dropping back in the pocket,
passes it to Ryan Morrow, and that's gonna be a flag.
(01:06:48):
Ryan Morrow couldn't make the catch because he was being
clobbered by a panther. Yeah, he even kind of sells
it a little bit. I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 1 (01:06:57):
We're gonna get him an oscar when he comes back
back into the locker room later because he is trying
to go get that ball to pass a little strip
from Hanley, he runs into the DV and kind of
like sells a little and one and the referees oblige.
Speaker 9 (01:07:15):
Yeah, he definitely did his best basketball player a soccer
player in person, embellishing the call on linebacker Kenny Parker.
Speaker 1 (01:07:22):
That flag was called where it should be. Passing experience
of referee still talking about.
Speaker 9 (01:07:26):
It right now because the participator did not get his
head around on the on the on the offensive play, yes,
the pass was a little under throne, so that's what
the referees are discussing right now. If the ball was
catching catchable, but being that Parker did not get his
head around and made a player.
Speaker 1 (01:07:43):
On the receiver, it should be passing experience for a
first down for the Bulldogs.
Speaker 6 (01:08:00):
So pass interference then be called on Frank Pierre.
Speaker 9 (01:08:04):
It seems like Parker and Peeler hand fighting, and I
guess eventually he said that is too much.
Speaker 1 (01:08:11):
You don't see that often. A passing experience on both
sides of the ball in one place, you do not
see that very often. Not to mention the pass interference
being called against the player who got interfered by the offense. Kennedy,
Parker gets himself on both sides, he gets interfered, and
then calls the interference those Penloty's offense.
Speaker 6 (01:08:32):
So a certain nine ball on the forty one yard line,
Hanley gets the snap, rolls out through his right, Frank
Pierre are the intended receiver and it's going to be incomplete,
and it looked like Frank Pierre was trying to fight,
so that number twelve Eric Zachary was not able to
(01:08:53):
catch it. Man, Bulldogs needed that one.
Speaker 9 (01:08:58):
Yeah, I gotta give respect to Eric Can for trusting
his guy again. I know Frank Pierle wanted that ball.
Speaker 1 (01:09:03):
That's one of those plays.
Speaker 9 (01:09:04):
Frank Pierle's I don't care, give me the ball, and
he gave his number on receiver a jump ball with
great covert by Zachary right there to get.
Speaker 1 (01:09:11):
A hand without a passing. The fans cars that would
lead to a Dior dog punch.
Speaker 6 (01:09:16):
Drop Cole coming out onto the field D punts d ball.
It is up and has quite a lot of air
on it and it's going to hit Jalen Peterson and
go into the end zone for a touchback, so so
close to pinning the Panthers deep into their own territory
once again.
Speaker 1 (01:09:34):
Cole gives Peterson a nice little foot pass. It bounces
off the ground directly into his chest and he's just
unable to come up with it and bounces into the
end zone. That's a heartbreaker.
Speaker 6 (01:09:47):
A foot pass.
Speaker 1 (01:09:49):
Yeah, you know, well they call you know, we got
arm punts and we got foot passes. Oh oh all right,
you know it's a little bit of extra ball knowledge,
you know, you gotta that's what have him leaves up
into the color.
Speaker 6 (01:10:00):
To every day you learn something new every day. Bulldogs
five SERB you A and M zero six minutes seventeen
seconds left in the second quarter, bringing that.
Speaker 1 (01:10:15):
The Bulldogs are Now it's okay, Ti, we have this
miscommunication up there, but we are live and that's what
live sports brings to you. Where all communicating together at
one time.
Speaker 9 (01:10:26):
But as right now, the Bulldogs do have a five
to zero league. The defense has been playing stout right now.
Right now, prayer is everything. Twenty four point two points
on this season, but right now they have a b
a big goose. Hey, but it all starts with coach
Chris Schuling in his defensive line. They've been playing great
right now, only managing in total offense for their prayer. You,
(01:10:52):
if my stats are correctly, these two yards of total offense.
So you love to see that if you're an Alabamba
and in Bulldog fan.
Speaker 5 (01:10:58):
So what they do for the.
Speaker 9 (01:11:00):
Knicks for this next drive more of the same right now.
I don't believe they're getting the ball coming. I believe
who's getting the ball.
Speaker 1 (01:11:07):
At a halftime.
Speaker 6 (01:11:08):
I believe it will be Prairie View because we receive
the ball.
Speaker 9 (01:11:12):
So being at Praisey, you know they get the ball
out of half home, they want to put a good
drive together to maybe go up two positions.
Speaker 1 (01:11:18):
They're skill out here and coming out of halftime.
Speaker 9 (01:11:21):
So if you're the bulldof, it's all about doing your job,
keeping everything in front of you and preventing the big plays.
We haven't seen Pidy be that aggressive, but being that
it's only six seventeen left in this half, expect that
on this jrit if you're the bulletouf prevent the big play.
Speaker 6 (01:11:38):
There's a name that I'm actually looking forward to calling
as the Twitter continues to progress, and that'll be none
other than the six foot three, two hundred and twenty
four pounds defensive end Wilburn Smallwood. I haven't called his
name yet.
Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
No, we haven't, and it would be great to see
him getting the next year. He was our big edge rusher.
Came in a little three games ago now and he's
made a great impact as he's been causing quarterback pressures
all over the place and probably got himself a back.
Last week.
Speaker 6 (01:12:10):
Peters lined up in the gun two receivers to each side.
He hands the ball off and it looks like he
kicked his own man right there. Think he got caught
up by his own man. So thank you so much
to that panther.
Speaker 1 (01:12:24):
That'll bring up second down big and that seems happy
at his office alignment when he got about the theater,
I wouldn't be either there. He's playing against fourteen. Now
he got the first offer and have his own man
working against them.
Speaker 6 (01:12:36):
Peters takes the snap, drop back in the pocket, passes
this and it's going to be caught by Andre Dennett.
Speaker 1 (01:12:47):
Dennis gets himself a one on one deep with our
bulldog defenders and he comes away with it. That's a
great pass of Joshua Bledsoe on the cover, just shaded
him a little bit too much, giving him that opportunity
that all the fall right in his bread basket.
Speaker 9 (01:13:01):
And as it respected, Cravey was gonna air it out
in just on qube days do the bulldog hapular cover.
Speaker 6 (01:13:08):
Peters first done ten drops back in the pocket. He's
looking ties of it towards the sideline and into the
end zone. Is going to be Jacobi Banks. He had
no defender on him.
Speaker 1 (01:13:24):
And it looked like there was why Wright who was
on the coverage as the pass went up, he was
on the ground. He gets up, looks at the refereeacts
thing if maybe there was gonna be a passive appearance
this time the repe doe not obliged and looks like
it's gonna be fixed on the board right now for
Prayerview sixth.
Speaker 6 (01:13:43):
Prarie View Alaba and m five five minutes, fourteen checonds
less to go in this half. And I mean, man,
the Bulldogs have been playing so well over the course
of this game. But the thorn in the side of
the Bulldogs is that big play. That big play happens.
It's kind of like the spark that ignite the opposing
(01:14:04):
the offenses as they're going to be flags on the
field for the extra point.
Speaker 1 (01:14:09):
Now see what it is that flag bus throwing right
at the snap of the ball.
Speaker 6 (01:14:18):
So we're going to replay the try. That's going to
be a five yard penalty assessed on Prairie Views perview.
Speaker 1 (01:14:25):
Just a little bit too fast to the snap, got
themselves a little antsy here after getting them selves on
the board.
Speaker 6 (01:14:33):
Web kick the extra point gets the snap kick us
up and it's going to be good. So Prairie A
and M seven, Alabama.
Speaker 1 (01:14:49):
A and M five and that's really unfortunate drive for
the Bulldogs.
Speaker 2 (01:14:55):
Tie.
Speaker 1 (01:14:56):
Prayerview goes too big, passes all the way down the
seat and just as quickly as they were able to
fall into that hole, they just dig themselves right out.
And that's the thing that you see out of one
of the best teams in the Slack West, and that
is why they are number one in the Swash. Well
see your point, Maurice, A free play.
Speaker 9 (01:15:15):
Eighty yard drive and only took them a minute in
three seconds to drive down the field.
Speaker 1 (01:15:21):
They're the best team in the Swack West. Aregions, so
you had to expect Peters in this preview offense to
get going.
Speaker 9 (01:15:28):
If you're the Bulldogs on office. Now, it's all about responding.
Speaker 1 (01:15:32):
We've seen all year we've had a struggle responding when
the momentum shifts to the opposite team. But if you're
Aeric Canley, you have to know going through this yield,
I have to put a scoring drive together.
Speaker 6 (01:15:43):
Yes, spraying drive will be necessary. We mentioned the board
in the broadcast that Prairie View will get the ball
coming out of half, so it's plenty, very very important
for these Bulldogs to put some points on the boards.
Three points David Fawks field goal and then two Houayante safety.
The webs will come out and kick the ball off
(01:16:07):
back to receives for the Bulldogs will be Aaron Rodgers
and Jalen Peterson. Rogers covering for our injured bulldog Caden
Dixon who will not return this season.
Speaker 1 (01:16:20):
And once again great to see Rogers here and not
in Seattle this weekend. Make a big Seattle Steelers haters,
so glad to see that he's helping o our bulldogs.
Speaker 6 (01:16:35):
The move famous name. I don't know if I could
ever give my child. It's such a famous name, like
you know, yeah, I mean at that point it was
probably wasn't famous quite yet.
Speaker 1 (01:16:47):
He was still behind Brett Farr.
Speaker 6 (01:16:50):
Ball is kicked off and it's going to roll into
the hands of Jalen Peterson who is running behind his blockers.
He keeps the seat turning. He's gonna be down just
shy of the thirty five yard line.
Speaker 1 (01:17:03):
That's a great return for these Bulldogs getting themselves in position,
and as quickly as we saw Crave, you get down
the field. It's actually a blessing because the Bulldogs now
have a little over five minutes to go in the
half and they'll have the chance to get themselves on
the board and create some separation before this half end.
Speaker 6 (01:17:24):
Bulldogs gotta put some points on the board. It's gonna
be first and ten. Ball is going to be on
the thirty four yard line. Eric Hanley coming out with
five minutes seven seconds in this game. He takes the snap,
jumps back in the pocket, passes it to true freshman
Machai Maddick who will pick up just about ten yards.
There's a flag on the play.
Speaker 1 (01:17:46):
It's a great play called by these Bulldogs. Get themselves
another pass over the middle that's been working out so far.
Speaker 6 (01:18:01):
Want to make sure that you don't start getting penalties
that kill or mess up your drive. It's going to
now the first down and fifteen for the Bulldogs.
Speaker 1 (01:18:12):
We saw that last week against Grambling State. Every time
the Bulldogs got themselves an opportunity to get down the field,
it was the big penalty that came and ice their
offensive drive and even ice the game. On defense versus.
Speaker 6 (01:18:26):
Fifteen ball on the play nine yard line, eric Hanley
hans the ball off the Volcin Kuo, who shoots up
that gap is keeping the seat turning and he is
going to beat down at the thirty five.
Speaker 1 (01:18:37):
Well, there wasn't a penalty yard as that'd be a
big run where we'll get them close to a first down,
just shy of it. But instead the penalty, we're in
their ugly head and giving the Bulldogs the long second
and nine second.
Speaker 6 (01:18:53):
Down to nine ball is going to be placed on
the thirty five yard line. Eric Hanley lined up in
the gun to receivers seat the big tight end Donsan
Haynes in the game. Hanley, you know it's the sideline
getting his commands. Fall is snap handed off again to
wo Kinko who is running behind some blockers and bring near.
(01:19:16):
Lewis did not provide a block, and as big as
he is, he definitely should have. He stands at six
foot seven, three hundred and forty pounds. The red shirt
freshman should have put his hands on somebody there.
Speaker 1 (01:19:30):
Yeah, you gotta see him put his hands out there
and go get involved in that play. He becomes a
bystander and unfortunately is unable to help help out his
running back get down the field.
Speaker 6 (01:19:42):
I'd like to believe that he could take two men
on his own. As that brings up thirty five ball
on the thirty nine yard line. Eric Hanley lined up
in the gun, which trips to the left. Hanley takes
the snap, he drops back in the pocket. He calls
for a blocker and Donovan Payne and he's gonna run out.
(01:20:03):
Good bye line standing by for the officials. But he
might have got that first out.
Speaker 1 (01:20:10):
It's gonna be close. The sticks are not moving, so
he may be short.
Speaker 9 (01:20:17):
Sticks are moving, six are moving, so great first down
by Eric Canley, and that's what I've been wanting to
see to some variety in this bulldog offense. Eric Canley,
we've known him to be a pocket passer, but he
is an athlete. He can make plays with his legs.
So if you're Bennick Alexander, I would love that he's
plays with Eric Canley on the run making some plays
(01:20:37):
so he can use his arm and his legs.
Speaker 6 (01:20:39):
First and ten ball on the forty four yard line.
Eric Hanley play action to Ryan Morrow, gets the ball
to Donovan Payne and he's going to be tackled by
the Panthers number twenty three Cameron Ameo.
Speaker 1 (01:20:54):
Yeah, Mayo gets himself in the action once again. He
was the spending of passes earlier. Now he stopping the run,
is laying down a big hit as well.
Speaker 6 (01:21:08):
It's going to be a time out cause our Prairie view,
we are just thirteen seconds away from the two minute
warning two minute time out. So that's how is that interesting?
Speaker 9 (01:21:22):
I would say, so chy, you normally don't see coaches
this close to the two minute warning using that time
out because be case can from period of youth. If
they get that battle back now, they only have one
less time out to drive down the field and potentially
go up even more So, I guess he didn't like
the look that he saw being at the Bulldogs about
to get the offensive playoff the field. But you're a
(01:21:44):
Bulldogs fans. We will take it any advantage we will take.
So two of the Bulldogs because you were on this
second and long.
Speaker 1 (01:21:52):
That's an interesting call by Jermaine Jackson with the Bulldogs
that's second and ten. But yeah, he must have not
liked what he saw out there because with thirteen seconds
until the two minute time out, not sure why you
would start to blow some resources.
Speaker 6 (01:22:05):
Second ten ball on the forty four yard line. Eric
Hamley and the gun with trips to the left. Eric Hamley,
dropping back in the pocket, passes it and it's going
to be caught.
Speaker 1 (01:22:16):
Bulldogs get themselves passed off anyway. Miles Parker's there, Davie
on Walker there for the reception, and get the Bulldogs
a little bit closer. It looks like there's gonna be
another time out called two minute timeouts.
Speaker 6 (01:22:29):
When we come back, we have more from the maroon
and wine. You were listening to Bulldog football on the
Alabama and M Bulldog Sports Network, WJABFM and WJAB dot org.
We'll be back in two minutes.
Speaker 2 (01:23:04):
Acting at a m. M m.
Speaker 6 (01:24:50):
Welcome back to the rolling hills of normal, Alabama. We
are here in Louis Clue Stadium where the score is
Alabama A and M five. Brave you an M seven.
It'll be third and four ball on the forty nine
yard line. A big conversion for the Bulldogs if they
look to put some more points on the board before
the half. Eric Hanley in the gun, he rolls out
(01:25:14):
to his right, launched the past intended for Miles Parker.
It's going to be way too high and that's going
to bring up fourth down and Marie's We talked about
how Miles Parker stands at about five foot six that
pass and looks to talk.
Speaker 1 (01:25:29):
Yeah, maybe that was better place for Donovan Payne, but
Parker unable to come up with it, and moreover, he
was covered very very well by a panther. Eric Canley
tried to go for him in the secondary, but he
had a man underneath who was faced the wide open
one and out.
Speaker 6 (01:25:51):
Rob Cole back to punt the ball offt Andre Dennis
back to his and Rob Cole with another great punt,
but this one goes into the end zone for a
touchback one minute forty eight seconds left in the half.
Alabama and M five crave you A and M seven,
(01:26:12):
So what do you think this defense has to do?
What do you think is the most critical things that
have to be done here in this situation?
Speaker 1 (01:26:22):
They know is a they're gonna be going for a
two minute jer For the people.
Speaker 9 (01:26:25):
At home, that means you want to go as fast
as possible to get in scoring range. As we mentioned before,
Prairie only has two time outs, so they're gonna go.
Speaker 1 (01:26:33):
A little bit quicker than normal.
Speaker 9 (01:26:35):
So if you're the Alabama and in defense, you have
to keep everything in the prenier. They're going to air
the ball out, so you want to play soft coverch
keep the ball in fronting and prevent that big play.
Speaker 6 (01:26:45):
First and ten Peters comes on to the field. He's
lined up in the gun with trips to the left.
He gets to snap hands the ball off to Dennis
and Dennis will be brought down by a rinsed dagon Purview.
Speaker 1 (01:27:02):
A and M finally able to get themselves a defense
run off today and now getting still four yards a
great run up the middle. He's Bulldogs on their toes.
They're not going to look out for.
Speaker 6 (01:27:15):
That past second and sixth, the ball is going to
be around the twenty five yard line. Shot up the middle.
Two number eleven Rockwell. Rockwell dropped the ball, and so
the Bulldogs actually caught a break on that one because
(01:27:35):
if he would have caught up, I would have set
up great field positions, and he also.
Speaker 1 (01:27:39):
Had a room to run.
Speaker 9 (01:27:42):
And I'm surprised to see Rockwell drop dam pass. He's
the number one receiver have three toes down six hundred
and thirty eight yards on the season on that across
the route. But if you're a Bulldogs fan, you love
to see it is the Builders have an opportunity to
get out the field in the third and six third and.
Speaker 6 (01:27:57):
Six Bulldogs have been doing exceptionally well over the course
of game as it pertains to third down conversions of
Peters drugs back in the pocket. But he has so
much time trying to get off the block. Is Robert
small one who does not get there in the past
will be complete to the outside.
Speaker 1 (01:28:13):
And it looks like they're gonna be short of that
first down as well. So grailby Bulldogs to force the
receiver out of bounds and make sure that that punt
unit has to come out and gives the Bulldogs a
chance to now get down the field in a minute
and put something on the board. This would be preview
second punts of the game. You love to see that
(01:28:34):
for the Bulldogs. Now, if you're the Bulldogs, you have
after this punt, maybe a minute in five seconds, right
around over a minute to put a drive together. You
want to see this high powered Bulldog offense factor receives and.
Speaker 6 (01:28:47):
Jordan Chambers Smith it will be tackled immediately at the
thirty five yard line. These Panthers have only converted one
of five third downs. Eric Hanley will have a minute
and three seconds, Like our analyst Evan Hayes said, to
put together some power plays and get into the end
(01:29:09):
zone just before halftime. When we come out of halftime,
Perry View will have the ball and.
Speaker 9 (01:29:16):
We have three timeouts. Coming into this drive a minute
and three seconds level. If Bulldogs elect to edge Baller,
you want to see a pass maybe go in between
the forty and fifty yard line.
Speaker 1 (01:29:28):
I need a good chunk play right here to get
this drive going early.
Speaker 6 (01:29:33):
Deeric Hamley takes the snap, drop back in the pocket
pass to trade. I've nerve who catches it, and he's
going to be brought out just shy of the.
Speaker 9 (01:29:43):
Forty five yard line and right on que A passed
between the forty and fifty yard line to trade. Theyonce
adding a good chunk play to get the Bulldog offense
started a good first down thty eight point nine seconds
in County losing those chains fall.
Speaker 6 (01:29:58):
On the forty five yard line first, and then Hanley
a pass to the outside the Parker who catches it.
Speaker 1 (01:30:06):
Parker finds uh Hanley finds Parker on that out route
and now the Bulldogs often starting to come together. We've
seen Abner in the secondary now Parker, and the clock
does stop.
Speaker 6 (01:30:19):
Four seconds left, Hanley takes his nap. He's rolling out
to his left, looks like he's gonna take it himself.
Just shy in the first down. We'll have to stand
by for the officials to see what they say. But
I'm laking how the Bulldogs are looking right now, how
quickly they're moving with forty seven seconds left in the past.
Speaker 1 (01:30:38):
It's all about.
Speaker 9 (01:30:39):
Getting the Bulldogs out of his face and letting them work.
So on the first play of the drive, a big
pack to Abner. On a second play, a big pas
to Parking. Now Eric Candler using his athleticism, I believe
it is the second down. Right now, further down, right now, Hamley.
Speaker 6 (01:30:57):
Passed to Parker, hits his chest and he dropped six.
So now Rob Cole and the puntings deponent coming out
onto the field. That one hurts if you're the Bulldogs
because you were just moving the ball so well.
Speaker 1 (01:31:13):
Bulldogs were moving the ball so well, and we saw
it on the last drop from Prairie View where they
had their receiver meant to catch up the middle, and
the Bulldogs just give the favor right back and give
them a chance to walk away filling the lead at.
Speaker 6 (01:31:28):
The half, under unnis back to receive rob Cole's punch
all in A and M five Praivy A and M seven,
and it's going to take a very generous bounced rob
Cole doing exceptionally well on these punts today, and so
Traview A and M is going to be pinned deep
into their own territory with thirty three seconds left in
(01:31:51):
this half, and so Bulldogs, Big Dogs defense has to
make sure that they play exceptionally well to get out
of here with no prairiew A and M score and ki.
Speaker 1 (01:32:01):
It's been interesting to see the perview punt returners not
even a let not even allow themselves to make a
play on the ball. And that might just be because
how the shadows are coming into the stadium right now.
As my time as a baseball outfielder, I know that
when the ball's coming from the shadow into the light,
(01:32:21):
it makes it oh so hard to catch anything in
the year, let alone track it so great, it's been
working out great for these Bulldogs to these first.
Speaker 6 (01:32:30):
Down from the one yard line, Prairie View able to
get it out. The end of the ball comes out
and so a bunch of bulldogs fall on it, but
the thistles are going to blow it dead. And you know, Evan,
if you're maybe your track coach, are you looking at
Camp Bender and saying, man, we might need him during
the season because you know, over the past couple of
(01:32:52):
weeks we've talked about Kyden Dixon and just how fast
he is, but Camp Bender just as quick. It has
been able to pin crazy deepen their own territory. That's
a time.
Speaker 1 (01:33:00):
Yeah, shout out Andrew Murphy and the alabam and in
the track team.
Speaker 9 (01:33:03):
We are always welcoming all athletes to come and join
the track team. Our season is still about two months away,
but football season ends around December.
Speaker 6 (01:33:13):
Have a little bit of time if you want to
come out.
Speaker 1 (01:33:15):
We think anybody I'd love to.
Speaker 6 (01:33:16):
Ask him guy to train with on the sprints squad
man That that's Camp Bender. He's really really quick, six
foot one, one hundred and ninety three pounds freshman long
snapper from Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, North Sport, Alabama.
Speaker 1 (01:33:32):
And Ty, I'm hearing that Bender's gonna be in shape
in December. It's already in shape now. So our first
yet is in January. Here's a whole another month if
he wants to come. So it is even better shape,
better shape man.
Speaker 6 (01:33:47):
Second down for the Panthers, twenty eight seconds lesson in
the quarter, Peter's hands, the ball off to Dennis, Dennis
shooting up the gap and keeps going. His seat are
still churning and correction, that's not going to Dennis on
the carries. It's gonna be number twenty four.
Speaker 1 (01:34:09):
And that's a great run by prayer of you getting
themselves out of the hole. They were deep into their
own territory and that big run by their running back
is gonna put them in a safe space for at
least a half making sure that maybe they get some points,
but more importantly, they don't give any points to the
(01:34:31):
Bulldog's defense. Again with another safety.
Speaker 6 (01:34:34):
Currently there is an injured bulldog on the field. He's
being assessed by the athletics training staff and the bracket
and Stefan Baker Cook Shade is also out there taking
a look.
Speaker 5 (01:34:52):
Here.
Speaker 1 (01:34:53):
We need to see who it is.
Speaker 6 (01:34:55):
The injury bugs has struck the Alabema and Bulldogs on
both sides of the ball, and it's going to be
number sixteen. Rob Iverson, you.
Speaker 1 (01:35:17):
Love to see him being able to even to assisted,
being able to walk off on his own power.
Speaker 6 (01:35:26):
During the season, there has been quite a few injuries
to quite a few different position groups. So we send
some good vibes and energy from those two rob iverson.
As time winds down, Peters drops back in the pocket.
Xavier Booker is chasing him Beneathris Beyonbi joined in on it.
(01:35:48):
He was able to get the pass off to.
Speaker 1 (01:35:50):
Rockwell and Blockwell gets himself out of bounds as well.
So he'll stop the clock just under ten seconds to
make sure that Curgy gets one more chance that at
a touchdown. Here there's maybe one, maybe two shots against
the field goal range.
Speaker 6 (01:36:07):
Peters gets the snap, drops back in the pocket. He's
rolling out through his right side. Pass is going to
be complete to his intended target to Kobe Banks there
to make the tackle for the Bulldogs.
Speaker 9 (01:36:22):
And that's Rockwell again on that pass. He's making up
for that drop pass as prayer View will call a
timeout and right now.
Speaker 1 (01:36:30):
The ball is at the thirty nine yard line.
Speaker 9 (01:36:33):
Now, if you're head coach, if your offensive Cordiny or
Christopher Buckley, you have a decision to make.
Speaker 1 (01:36:38):
Do you trust Peters to take a shot to.
Speaker 9 (01:36:40):
The end zone, or do you trust the leg of
your kicker out diego alfaro. If they kick, it is
going to be around a fifty five yard kick, which
is a pretty big kick for a swat kicker. So
you want to see where Buckner does coming out this
time out.
Speaker 1 (01:36:56):
Well, we saw him earlier trying to make a trying
to make a much shorter kick than that was just
over forty yards, and if they were going to try
and extend to really tense out the leg at fifty
that would be quite a choice. They still got two
seconds remaining, so I'm probably seeing Prairie View trying to
draw up a play here and get themselves in the
(01:37:17):
end zone.
Speaker 6 (01:37:18):
Tackle was made by number thirty seven Jordan Milton. It's
going to be first down for the Panthers. This Alabama
A and M defense has sent four guys for the
end zone anticipating the long past as Peters fires that
shot to the end zone and it's going to be
caught by the Panthers, Number eleven Rockwell there to make
(01:37:44):
the catch and wow, the Bulldogs anticipated this and Prairie
View was still able to make the play. So Alabama
A and M five Prairie View, A and M thirteen
as als Farrow comes to kick the extra points.
Speaker 9 (01:38:05):
You hate to see that if you're an Alabama an
M Bulldogs fan. But if you're a PRAISEE fan, that's
what you want.
Speaker 1 (01:38:10):
You want.
Speaker 9 (01:38:11):
Peters with a he had all the time in the
world brought out to his right, and he had a
jump ball with his number one ride receiver Rockwell.
Speaker 1 (01:38:18):
Who seems that as that kid goes through that drop pad,
teams to wake him up, as he had four catches
on one drive, including the forty yard touchdown bomb? Is
that will bring the halftime score? Praise View fourteen out
of them and A and M five After we come.
Speaker 6 (01:38:35):

thirty nine yard reception from Peters to Rockwell, jac was good.

the half. Man, it doesn't matter how you get there.
As long as you get there, I guess. But what

And then.
Speaker 3 (01:40:38):
Was it the ugly way, the rough way as you mentioned,
Panthers discord right before the half with two seconds remaining
to get the touchdown to extend the lead fourteen to five.
(01:41:00):
Santons gave up a safety believe it or not, and
the Bulldogs scored first with the field goal attempt. Maanthers
counter with a field goal to temp of forty yards
and was missed. Nonetheless, of Panteras get too quick touchdowns
(01:41:23):
and they have belief we normally would have some scores
at the half time right now, but for whatever reason,
our information sources are snagged, can't get anything, and the
only update that we have to share with you right

menu to carry them in the second half to the victory.
Lane Factor's final road game of the regular season. And
I say that of the regular season due to the
fact that if the Panthers then went out, they would
(01:57:10):
more than likely represent the West for the Southwestern Athletic
Conference Championship. Now, being that they lost head, they head
to Alabama State. If Alabama State were to somehow end
up on top of the East, the Panthers would have
(01:57:30):
to travel to Montgoverny, Alabama for the championship game. However,
if Jackson State continues to be the lead from the East,
the Panthers would have to pivot and head to Jackson, Mississippi,
(01:57:53):
because if things were to pan out the way they
could pan out, Jackson State had to hit the head
over Alabama State, so Jackson would represent the East. But waits,
there's a dark arts to the throne. Cookman Wildcats slow,
(01:58:14):
We would surely stand close. They have to play Jackson State,
hit the head and those what could happen? If Jackson
State happens to fall to bethorone Cookman and Beth Cookman
wins out, then.
Speaker 6 (01:58:37):
There could be a remote chance that if.
Speaker 3 (01:58:41):
The Panthers, holding down on the West, could end up
hosting the championship game. But there's still a lot of
football to be remaining, and he's got a second half
of football to begin with here a Huntsville. Then they
got to take their business at home with the University
of Arkansas, a Fine Bluff and Mississippi Valley. You to

Speaker 1 (02:00:08):
These moments are what the Bulldogs should have been looking
for and I'm excited to see how they start to start.
Speaker 6 (02:00:15):
For you gotta think that there they should be chomping
at the bit. They should be really excited to come
out and play this have. Like you mentioned, there has
been so many notes of encouragement from all of these
different people. But not only that. I mean you're at
home where you haven't lost yet this season, and you're
playing against a Black West bow and have opportunity to
(02:00:38):
kind of stole their season a little bit. As Conan
Littlefield kicks the ball off back to receive or prarie
view will be Andre Dinnis and he takes the ball out,
is running behind some blockers and he's going to be
pushed at abound by Jordan.
Speaker 1 (02:00:53):
Milkom Well, I'll give a little bit too much room
on that outside edge. It was a bullall defender who
tries to get down the field in time but just
overrun the receiver. The geek and field position for a perview,
So the first.
Speaker 6 (02:01:11):
And ten ball is going to be too eight at
e think the thirty two yard line. Some second half
keys for the Bulldogs. This is type take his turn,
drives into points, open up the passing game. So get
the ball to Frank Pierre, Miles Parker, Davion Walker, Andre Craig.
(02:01:34):
But they have to catch the ball they found defensively
and keep their composure. As his first and ten, Peters
takes the snap, passes it through the middle through their
big tight end target, Trayvon Jones.
Speaker 1 (02:01:47):
Trayvon Jones gets himself over the middle and unlike last half,
he gets his hands on the ball and he holds
on to it gives Purview a big first down. This
pass is starting to color live for the Panthers.
Speaker 6 (02:01:58):
First down in ten and Peters hands the ball off
the running back believe to be Dennis, it's actually Satrick Bird.
Tatrick Bird is from Koy, Alabama. He'll be brought down
by that Bulldog defensive line, so that'll set up second down.
(02:02:28):
Peters makes his nap drop back, decides to take it
on his own legs. He has some room to run
and he's gonna run out of dound at around the
forty yard line. So the pants is coming out quick
and fast.
Speaker 1 (02:02:41):
And Perview's starting to bury their offense a little bit more.
That was a QB run as that place started to
break down a little bit, and he gets that first
down in a whole bunch more. Perview's been driving down
the skiel in a hurry.
Speaker 6 (02:02:54):
First and ten Paula is going.
Speaker 12 (02:02:56):
To be on the forty three yard line, forty seven
yard line, and we have talked extensively Contenders and I
about Prairie View having the opportunity to go up as the.
Speaker 6 (02:03:09):
Ball is going to be handed off and Arenza Davis
makes the tackle. Very touchy game right now, Bulldog defenses
to make this stend bull tie.
Speaker 1 (02:03:21):
I'm currently in my roles pinched shade and I'm like
trying to see the positives here. Bulldogs have a chance
to get themselves right back of the striking distance as
long as they can get themselves a stop and make
sure they can solve this cancer drive.
Speaker 6 (02:03:35):
Second and twelve ball on the forty one yard line.
Peters has some trips to the right as he takes
a snap, passes it over the middle and hurdling. A
defender is going to be Andre Dennis Man.
Speaker 1 (02:03:49):
And Denni is trying to get a clip, almost weeping
over one of our bulldogs. Unfortunately, it's not a three
foot hurdle like Evan is used to. That's a big
man and he he trips overwhelm makes sure that he
stops just short of that line of game.
Speaker 6 (02:04:05):
He's an injured Bulldog out on the field, possibly too.
So we are going to pay a one minute break.
When we come back, we'll have an updates. You're listening
to Bulldogs football on the Alabama an N Bulldog Sports Networks,
WA b f M and WAB network.
Speaker 9 (02:05:36):
And we are back with Alabama and in football as
it is in the third quarter, twelve thirty nine left,
thirteen to five prayers views where we're gonna go over
scores in the sweat. Currently Florida A and M in
Arkansas Pombook is at halftime ten to seven thanks to
certain In Alabama State is in the dogfight with Alabama
State of twenty eight to twenty four with eleven thirty
(02:05:57):
nine left in the third quarter. But the Cookman in
gravel and State is that has time twenty to twenty
fourth Draven in States Wait, Jackulan State is dominating me
to Be Valley twenty one to three with fourteen fifty
five left in the third quarter, and Southern is playing
all corn State seven to zero. Southern's way the ten
forty seven left in the second quarter. That's all your
(02:06:19):
scores around the Southern Athletic at soubuest An Athletic Conference.
Speaker 6 (02:06:25):
Those are some scores around the flag and Jackson States
in a very nice spot, especially with Alabama State. If
they lose, that could be some implications on the chase
to the celebration goal and Peters, seeing his commands from
the sideline looking over at the od Christopher Buckner come
(02:06:49):
to figure out what he is going to be doing.
Bran you thirteen, I love and five twelve minutes seconds
Peters hands the ball off getting in on that tackle.
It's going to be Kylan Roberts to it be a
fresh set up down for the Para.
Speaker 1 (02:07:05):
Bulldogs are able to stop that run as they have
been most day, as they have been all day, but
that three yards that on that carry was just enough
to get them that first down, So.
Speaker 6 (02:07:17):
It's going to be first down in ten. Here takes
his time, launching towards the sideline over the head of
Montreal Campbell, caught by Rockwell. The'll be a touchdown peri view.
Speaker 1 (02:07:32):
Campbell got SWAT honors this week as one of the
Sensive Players of the Week, and today just unfortunately great coverage,
but it just gets leaped over by that Perview defend
Pererview receiver and comes down with it just barely in down.
They're able to kid themselves back on the board.
Speaker 6 (02:07:56):
Preview nineteen album and M five. That just kind of
puts the wind out of my sales. Unfortunate to see
that the player is going to be under reviewed, so
the officials are going to take a look at it
to make sure that it was indeed a touchdown.
Speaker 1 (02:08:13):
And toy I was looking at that play as it happened,
and it looks like that Purview receiver kind of if
the ball does break the plane of the goal line,
that would be a touchdown, but he doesn't land inbound
and looks like he just bare league reaps over that pyelone. Well,
in twenty twenty five, the object of what is the
(02:08:34):
catch is probably the biggest question in the football right now.
So right now the officials doing to due diligence to
come out with the correct call.
Speaker 9 (02:08:42):
But if that call does stand, that is potentially one
of the worst case scenarios for the Bulldogs.
Speaker 1 (02:08:48):
We talked about in the.
Speaker 9 (02:08:49):
First half, that being that praise View has the ball
coming out of half, you have to get a stop
and it seems like Peter who was just able to
find rock Well on that go ball. You saw one
one covering the campbell and chose his number on wide receiver.
Speaker 1 (02:09:02):
He came down with it.
Speaker 9 (02:09:03):
Currently, Rockwall, if this place stands, has four recessions for
ninety five yards in two touchdowns. He's been their number
one guy all day and the Bulldogs have to put
more guys than him to try to contain him a
little bit as well.
Speaker 6 (02:09:16):
Over the course of this season, he has six hundred
and thirty eight yards three touchdowns on forty seven touches,
so he is indeed the top target for the Panthers
and Bulldogs here has to do something this play momentum changing.
Speaker 1 (02:09:39):
Yeah, and not to mention Rockwell has only recently gotten
himself from the mix those his fourth catch coming just
now the touchdown, but those other three were at the
end of the half with a little under ten seconds remaining.
Speaker 9 (02:09:53):
Yes, we talked about early. He had a drop pass
early that seems to wake him up, and now he
seems to be dominating on the feat field.
Speaker 6 (02:10:01):
Hayden left coming, Let's get able to kick the extra points.
The kick is up and it is going to be good.
So pray View twenty Alabama.
Speaker 1 (02:10:13):
A and M five, and the separation is starting to
come as Prayer Review puts themselves on the board again
and we're seeing how quickly this Preview team can get
themselves down the field and put some points on the board.
Bulldogs are gonna have to respond in a big way
and get themselves their first touchdown of from scrimmage this
(02:10:35):
entire day if they want to keep themselves in this game.
Speaker 9 (02:10:39):
Yes, a touchdown is definately needed right here, right now.
Prayerview is adding twenty four point two points a game
on the season, and they're already at twenty, so you
know they're gonna get their points. But it's all about
responding to adversity and putting together a touchdown drive to
get back in this game.
Speaker 6 (02:10:58):
You're gonna stop free for a station identification.
Speaker 8 (02:11:03):
Ninety point nine w JAB afram Huntsville at all the

Speaker 6 (02:11:17):
Eric Hanley makes his return after sitting out one week
due to an eighty joint spring. The six foot two,
two hundred pounds red shirt freshmen from Folksindale, Alabama transfer
from one first has eight hundred and eighty six yards
seven touchdowns on the season, has completed seventy eight of
one hundred and twenty seven passes. As the ball is
(02:11:41):
kicked off by Web and bounces past Dalen Peterson, who
decides to pick it up.
Speaker 1 (02:11:48):
It looked like it might have touched him. He was
very audam it to get himself to that ball and
fall on top of it. Bulldogs deepen their own territory,
but at thankfully could have not the worst scenario.
Speaker 6 (02:12:04):
Eric Hanley comes back out onto the field. Also making
a return is Tray Beyonce Abner Sray Abner, a dude
target utilized over the course of this season in so
many different ways to stand the injury. Just hours before

Speaker 1 (02:12:31):

by chamber Smith. Prayer View defender trying to run across
the intercept that ball just barely is unable to As
Eric Hanley threats the needles.
Speaker 6 (02:12:46):
Eric Hanley gets to snap again passes it to Trey
Abner Sray Abner to be tackled by multiple Panthers able
to hold on to the ball.
Speaker 1 (02:12:55):
Boril Progresson's gonna get him a few yards on that play.
Bulldogs now with the chance to him for a short
third down, and that'll be the thing that will get
them back in rhythm to get them down the s
field and get some point on the board.
Speaker 6 (02:13:06):
Over the course of the season, Alabama and m has
struggled with third down conversion. Third and three balls would
be on the fifteen yard line, covering around thirty six percent.
Bulldogs looking to stay ahead of the change as Eric
Ganley hands the ball off and it's going to be
(02:13:27):
shy of the first down.
Speaker 1 (02:13:28):
I don't know if I like that run call Bulldogs.
Actually no, it looks like Bulldogs do get that first down.
It looked like it was a little short to me,
say well, we will take it. We will take it,
and Bulldog catch themselves a breakers. They're able to get
force the issue with that run. A little risky of
a call as the pass was getting itself as the
(02:13:51):
pass was working, but thankfully Bulldogs are able to continue
to drive.
Speaker 6 (02:13:57):
Versus then ball in fifteen yard line. Eric Hamley, with
a different line lined up in the pistol, hands the
ball off to Lion Morrow who tries to bounce to
the outside, and it is a bunch of cancer continuing
to push him out of bounce so that will bring
up second down.
Speaker 1 (02:14:15):
Looked like it was almost the entire defense defense trying
to take Marrow down. He stays on his feet as
he gets pushed over to that preview sideline.
Speaker 6 (02:14:26):
That's old yellow right there, old dogs. Able to keep
his speech turning and stayed on his seat and bring
up second in eleven ball on the sixteen yard line.
I would like to see the ball in the air,
and the air that's a flow, writer song Abner Walker
Pierre Parker. As Eric Hanley drops back in the pocket,
(02:14:50):
rolls out to his right, has some defenders chasing him,
and he will throw it out of down.
Speaker 1 (02:14:58):
It looks like he has I had a shot at
Morrow who was over in the secondary, and instead Eric Handley,
with a lot of pressure come in his direction, decides
to toss the ball at a bound And that's not
what you want to see. Have these bulldogs trying to
get the ball down the field. They still got to
have a lot of yards to go if they're going
(02:15:18):
to converse the third.
Speaker 6 (02:15:20):
They're down eleven ball on the sixteen yard line. Eric
Hamley looking over to the timeline to give his commands.
Speaker 1 (02:15:29):
Here was the third down for the Bulldogs.
Speaker 6 (02:15:33):
Eric Hamley promotion by Pierre. Now they're strips to the right.
He jumps back in the pocket and has sometimes fires
a shot. It is oh, that has to be a
past interference and as the receiver that would be Damian Walker,
was trying to complete his route and catch that ball,
he was grabbed by number twenty seven on purview, Jaylon shouting,
(02:15:58):
so it's going to be.
Speaker 1 (02:16:01):
First down, bull Dogs, first down and a lot more.
I'm wiping the twin off of my brow and Bulldogs
are able to catch themselves a break as there was
as the receivers trying to go deep, he catched himself
mixed up and one of the peer of defender's legs
(02:16:22):
and unfortunately gives the Bulldogs a big chance to continue
to drive.
Speaker 6 (02:16:28):
There's some pendsall on the third one yard line, first
of the downs for the Bulldogs. As Eric Hanley with
some play action passes the ball. There Will King quote
Will King quote running down the sideline, runs into a
Panthers defender hard and.
Speaker 1 (02:16:44):
We've seen this play Tom and Tom again for the Bulldogs.
But Eric Hanley finally deciding to go for his receiver
underneath instead of the one of the secondaries, and will
King Quo delivers a big first down and a whole
bunther of chunk yards for these Bulldogs. This is when
they're starting to get themselves in a little bit of
a rhythm tie and for purview, that's not what you
(02:17:04):
want to see.
Speaker 6 (02:17:06):
Send me first down at ten ball on the forty
four yard line. Eric Hanley dropped back in the pocket,
had a good block delivered by Isaiah Wilkinkuo and under
Craig was the intended receiver, but the ball is way
behind him.
Speaker 1 (02:17:21):
It looks like it was Jabrett Hopkins who got himself
a hand on that pass. The fleeces a little bit
and calls it to be short. He was doing a
little up and down, a little celebration dances. He got
him two moves. That big man.
Speaker 6 (02:17:37):
That's gonna bring up second down. While on the forty
four yard line, Harry Hamley lined up in the pistol.
Eric Hamley gets the snap and the ball lost of
Wilkin Quo. Wolkin Quo shooting up that gap. He's staying
on the seat, he's keeping it going, and he jumped
(02:17:59):
over a fender but was able to keep the speech turning.
Gets the first down, put the.
Speaker 1 (02:18:03):
Bulldogs hop out those Maury's atwards out there of the way.
He reached Old Tom the man the secondary and what's
a run and gets the Bulldogs a big first down,
gets them down the field, and to give himself a
nice highlight as well.
Speaker 2 (02:18:17):
Well.
Speaker 6 (02:18:18):
King Quote five foot eight, one nine pounds, five year
senior from Bradley, Illinois, suburb of Chicago.
Speaker 1 (02:18:25):
Am I correct, Yes, it.
Speaker 6 (02:18:26):
Is so chicagoan thirty eight carries one hundred and sixty
seven yards one touchdown in this running back by committee.
A bad snap oh by Hanley, it'll be, or a
bad snap by Kloy. Very uncharacteristic there to get the ball,
(02:18:47):
will King Quo. Hanley was raised to deliver a block
if he had to, But that'll push the Bulldogs back significantly,
and that's.
Speaker 1 (02:18:57):
Not the type of thing that you want to see.
We saw a little bit of that battery having some
having a bit of a shortage last week at Grambling
it comes back, seems like it wasn't fully charged and
it's coming back to bite the Bulldogs in a big
way as there need of some juice center.
Speaker 6 (02:19:15):
It took five two hundred and eighty pounds vestert sophomorey
LIFs Krooyd transfer from Georgia Tech, very uncharacteristic second and
twenty fall on the forty four yard line even to
sea going pushed out Abound's going to be Davion Walker and.
Speaker 1 (02:19:32):
It was a great chunk player of these Bulldogs got
almost got themselves back to the original line of scrimmage,
but instead of being third in Illinois, they're just third
in Ftataca.
Speaker 6 (02:19:47):
More like third and fort Wayne. Yeah, the rings of
third down for the Bulldogs. Bulldogs third down conversions, like
we mentioned before, all the season around thirty six percent.
Bulldogs pushed back sixty far as Hanley gets another high
(02:20:07):
snap that is able to control this one pocket collapsing,
he steps up, he's about to slip, has nowhere to go,
and he just decides to sit.
Speaker 1 (02:20:16):
And Eric Hanley didn't even have an arm on him
trying to find his footing ends up just stacking himself
and that is gonna stall that Bulldog's drive, which was
looking so great up until the Bulldogs just had that
battery issue and they were just unable to bring it
together and really just grind it out.
Speaker 6 (02:20:38):
Would you say that was more of a.
Speaker 1 (02:20:40):
Mental thing there, Yeah, when when a play breaks down
like that and you're starting to lose your options, it's
starting to get a little bit of desperation time as
time is starting to become against the Bulldogs side.
Speaker 9 (02:20:53):
And also, to your point, Maurice a mental thing because
he is coming off an injury. So if he does,
he's coming off an ac joint sprain that time mentioned earlier.
So maybe in that situation where the pocket collapsing, you
do not want to take a hit right there. Yes,
these are Division one athletes, and they're great athletes all
in their own right, but they are human.
Speaker 1 (02:21:10):
They don't want to take any necessary hits right there.
And it's not only on the D one offenses on
your side. They're also D one athletes on the other
side of the defense trying to hit you with all
their force.
Speaker 9 (02:21:24):
So right there, he made a again, we don't like
that the Bulldogs turned the position over to the prayer.
He made a business decision right there, and he and
it's all on the Bulldog defense to get a stop
to get the ball back in Handley's hands.
Speaker 6 (02:21:37):
Make sure you tune into the Sam Shade Coaches Show
with host Ty Floyd's Sundays ten thirty pm on Fox
fifty four. You could also kept it on YouTube.
Speaker 1 (02:21:48):
I know her, I think, I think I know that.
I was like that, who's dad? That name sounds pretty goliar.
Speaker 6 (02:21:54):
But man, jock drive drive killer. Not really too sure
what happened on the breakdown there with Elias Cloys. Again,
like we mentioned, that's very uncharacteristic of him. So now
the score is going to be praise you twenty Alabama
and and them five five minutes, twenty five seconds left
in this third quarter. What can the Bulldogs do from here?
(02:22:17):
Like what are the keys to make sure that number one,
they get a stop, but also when offense comes back
on the field, they're able to put some points on
the board.
Speaker 9 (02:22:25):
Frankly, Thid is put up for a shut up time
with five to twenty five left to go in the
third quarter. This is probably the most people to job
people to drive of the game, is you give up
a touchdown right here? Dal puts the score to twenty
seven to five. That's a way deeper hole to bring
yourself out of. For yes, Eric Candler has played well,
(02:22:46):
but that's still a freshman quarterback. So you're asking a
freshman quarterback to bring you down by three scores in
one in one in one half. That is a hard
task for anybody. So if you're even if you have
to have your offensive back to get a stop, get
the ball back in the hands of the offense and
mount this comeback.
Speaker 1 (02:23:07):
And more importantly, Evan I was I've been trying to
tell you guys about the about how every kids begins
with k but the eye for a perview is even
more important as this team is coming out and they're
trying to get themselves a win to continue to control
their own destiny. And if they're if they're gonna do,
if they're gonna make a stop against these bulldogs and
(02:23:27):
get themselves a win, this is it they're gonna have
to tell they're gonna step up and make a stop
and keep themselves fresh for what is possibly a deep
playoff run.
Speaker 6 (02:23:38):
Peter comes back out on through the field, some play action,
he drops back in the.
Speaker 13 (02:23:44):
Pocket and another lunch and there to catch it is
going to be Rockwell again and Montreal Campbell was the
defender on that on that play.
Speaker 1 (02:23:58):
And we were saying that last week at Grambling, a
lot of these defensives like to pick on Campbell. Campbell's
been tassled with the job with the unenviable job of
stuarding the wide receiver. One week in and week.
Speaker 6 (02:24:08):
Out, Peters passed the Rockwell again, Rockwell push out of
Allas like Jordan Milton.
Speaker 1 (02:24:17):
And a shorter pass for the Purview Panthers, but they're
still finding themselves moving down the field very quickly. Five
yards on that catch, and once again we're looking at
what could be a very short drive for the Panthers.
Speaker 6 (02:24:31):
Second and ten, Paul is going to v on the
Tory six guardline. Peters rolling out to right, being chased
by Arenza Davis. He's gonna be swushed out of bounds.
Speaker 1 (02:24:41):
Great run by the QB. Sees that played breakdown and
decides that he's going to take his shot and get
himself a few more yards.
Speaker 6 (02:24:50):
And that's going to bring up third down. Bulldogs have
done well over the course of this game to get
Verrie View off the field. Now more than ever, they
need to make it happen. He was only converted to
a six third down as the ball is handed off
to Dennis or to Chase BigMan and he gets the
first down.
Speaker 1 (02:25:11):
Right now, Tai did why wow, that's different.
Speaker 9 (02:25:16):
Little tongue twister, But right now Ty Bravery has a
smell blood in the water. They see this as the
queue shot driving.
Speaker 1 (02:25:24):
They're playing aggressive. It's all up to the Bulldogs to
stop them.
Speaker 6 (02:25:29):
Three minutes forty seconds left in the third quarter, Prayview
A and M twenty out an A and five Prairie
Peters takes the snaps from play. Action is able to
find Dennis. Dennis will be tackled and the ball comes
out and it looks like the officials will blow it dead.
(02:25:50):
Prayew am M get a first down and.
Speaker 1 (02:25:57):
The purview still in. The Bulldogs off this path, attack
first down and ten.
Speaker 6 (02:26:04):
Dennis takes the handoffs. Sigman takes the handoff.
Speaker 1 (02:26:07):
He's going be tackled by why it right and now
starting to mix in that run as well. The variety
is starting to call the Bulldogs a few issues, making
them second guests themselves, and that's giving the Panthers just
that much time to make a decision and beat these
bulldogs while they're waiting to get the full read of
the situation.
Speaker 6 (02:26:28):
Two minutes forty seconds left in this quarter prarie View
twenty Alabama and five prairie View. Peters with a shot
too the end zone. It's going to be incomplete. Playing
some great defense. There is going to be her failed
the enemy. Doc Passy to my Floridian brother, and.
Speaker 1 (02:26:52):
Doc pass say to him too, not believe as he
puts a hand up, gets himself in the way of
him in that for you offender, and he got cooked
on the last play, got caught running a little bit
and gave a few extra yards when he shouldn't. Now
he's able to put a hand up and stop that touchdown,
but they had to do it one more time to
(02:27:13):
reach to hopefully force the Panthers to three instead of six.
Speaker 6 (02:27:17):
Third down Peters drouts back. Andre Kidd chasing him was
there to blow it up and Peters is going to
be out of bounds. It's going to be a flag
on the play for a late hit on Wilburn Smallwood
and an injured bulldog as well, and a lot of
(02:27:37):
going wrong on that On that drive.
Speaker 1 (02:27:39):
There not much going right. How about the fawn one
of our training staff getting himself out there, and I
heard that. Man, I got to see what that forty
time was.
Speaker 6 (02:27:48):
Got those knees up, but got some wheels on him.
But I mean, dang, that's so that's going to be
a let hit on number eleven. Wilvern Smallwood. We haven't
really called his name too much during the duration of
(02:28:09):
this game. They're calling negatively. Last week against Scrambling had
a penalty that was pretty costly as well, and so
this is definitely not what you want to see at
this point of the game, especially when it seems like
Alabama and then may take a couple of steps forward
and then take several steps back.
Speaker 9 (02:28:30):
You take the words right out my mouth. Tie is talented,
the small Wood is. You do not want a guy
that time to be hurting you in the penalty game.
Last week, like you said, against Gramley, they had a
very costly personal foul tendency right after the controversial punt call.
Speaker 1 (02:28:47):
And now we see him on the goal line doing
a late hit on.
Speaker 9 (02:28:51):
Peters, which is extrectly unexcusable. So you need him as
one of the leaders of your defense to say discipline
and get the other guys in check. Hopefully been and
not break and give us the touchdown.
Speaker 1 (02:29:02):
Absolutely, Bulldogs are going to have to stay in their
own heads and make sure that they're not doing too
much and cause the penalties.
Speaker 6 (02:29:14):
Peters thows it over the top. Intended receiver was number
thirty three, Hegan Heckman, and it's going to be incomplete.
Speaker 1 (02:29:25):
Bulldog's able to stop one pampas now first second in goal,
have a few more chances to get into this goal line.
They've only got two yards to go. It's going to
be a big stop if these Bulldogs can get it.
And you have to keep in mind of Keeters. He
does have the legs to make plays. He's a duel
for it if he's not in the game.
Speaker 6 (02:29:47):
Currently, the Beaches be Yonbies blowing up the backfield, but
he tripped up Wilburn Smallwood who tried to make the play.
Kevin Carter came in the game and was able to
take that snap, but Bulldog's able to hold him. So
that brings up third down in goal, one minute forty
five seconds left in the quarter. Prave you up twenty
(02:30:10):
to five on the Alabama and the Bulldogs. Peters comes
back into the game for this next place and.
Speaker 1 (02:30:17):
Beyond b months have seen something because he runs through
that week's side of the line entirely untouched and gets
right to the quarterback. That's a big tackle for these Bulldogs.
And now setting up that third.
Speaker 6 (02:30:29):
Third down and goals, and it's going to be a
timeout called Alabama A and M calling the timeout to
be thirty seconds timeout.
Speaker 9 (02:30:42):
Yeah, if you're Sam Shay, you're telling your team we
need a stock right here. I'm not surprised if he
took that time. He knows the magnitude of this moment.
Going down twenty six or twenty seven to five to
twenty three to five is a big difference.
Speaker 1 (02:30:57):
When it comes to scores you need.
Speaker 9 (02:30:59):
So if you're Sam Shake telling your team, execute, execute, execute,
don't let any gaps open, don't let any area for
the Panthers take advantage to hopefully have a great goal.
Speaker 1 (02:31:10):
I stand right here. Absolutely we've seen these bulldogs get close,
but not get close enough. But bulldogs are gonna have
to come away with a little bit of chicken dinner
at this goal line stand if they want to start
eating themselves.
Speaker 6 (02:31:26):
Oh right now, Maurice, you know we have to start
rating your What I would like.
Speaker 1 (02:31:33):
To call mauricism, eurism. We're gonna have to have these
five a game where we're just we.
Speaker 6 (02:31:39):
Just are kind of looking at each other like, you know,
but go ahead and shamelessly plug the organization that you're
a part of. Isn't it the Poets?
Speaker 1 (02:31:47):
Or uh, it's actually we call ourselves the Society of
Weirdly Advanced Poets. We find ourselves to be advanced and
be literature arts, amongst other things.
Speaker 6 (02:31:58):
Just one of the many great clubs and organizations that
we have on campus here at Alabama and M. So
that out to you, Maurice and the Society of Lyrically
Advanced Poets Poets. All right now, all right now, we
are going to take a thirty second break and we
(02:32:19):
come back. We have more football. You are listening to
Bulldog Football on the Alabama A and M Bulldog Sports Network,
WAB FM and WDAB dot work starting goals. Peters can
(02:33:14):
be lined up in the gun with trips to the left,
third down and goal. Bulldogs, do you make a very
necessary stop here?
Speaker 1 (02:33:24):
It's gonna be a big one. The Bulldogs anty already
getting a little bit of motion at that line secondary
getting themselves into position as well. Things like Peters is
changing the play at the line, doesn't like what he
sees by the Bulldog.
Speaker 6 (02:33:37):
Defense the yombe when his communications, Peters takes the snap
and it's going to be caught by Rockwell in the
back of the in zone. In man he is rocking studies.
During the course of this game, a Bulldog was able
to get a hit on Peters, but Montreal handle on
(02:34:00):
the coverage.
Speaker 1 (02:34:02):
Bulldogs just a little short, unable to find themselves into
that backfield to get the quarterback in Tom And what
a diving catch by Rockwell, diving towards the upright and
getting himself a web gym of a play as he
has been cooking these Bulldogs ever since he got himself
(02:34:23):
woken up. At the end of that first half.
Speaker 6 (02:34:25):
Aden Webb for the extra point is up and it
is good. So the score is now going to be
twenty seven to five, one minute, sixteen seconds left in
this third quarter, and looking across to the visitor's side,
the Panther tasefull up on their feet, dancing, sharing on
(02:34:47):
their guys as they are in control of their own
destiny to get to that Black Championship. Disappointing for the
Bulldogs who plays so strongly in the first quarter, especially
really throughout the duration of the first half, and then
of course that momentum changing touchdowns Alabama A and M
(02:35:09):
just two seconds before heading into the locker room for
a halftime. We're in a prevent defense and rock Rockwell
if we do make a touchdown.
Speaker 1 (02:35:21):
And Rockwell has been he's been also formidable. He's got
seven receptions one hundred and forty three yards. He gets
twenty yards every time he catches the ball, folks, and
he has been one of those guys that the Bulldogs
have to look out for. And not not only that,
got three touchdowns to boot he got all three touchdowns
for perview right now today. And it's just one of
(02:35:43):
those things that once you start to notice it, as
perveew did, they noticed that that pass was working to
Rockwell and our secondary is weren't able to do anything
about it. They shifted their entire game plan away from
the run to just give them the ball to rock Well.
Speaker 6 (02:35:59):
Alfaro. The ball off back to receives is going to
be Aaron Rodgers, Jalen Peterson, Jnovan Payne is the one
who calls the fair catch, and so the Bulldogs are
gonna start at the twenty five yard line. And I
know that playing defensive backs, playing you know, foreigner or safety,
(02:36:21):
all these different positions are extremely difficult. But that is
now two times that Montreal Campbell has lasting coverage that
has resulted in the score. So if you're Chris Schelling
or the cooking staff, at what point do you maybe
think to make an adjustment.
Speaker 9 (02:36:36):
Yeah, that is something you think about at this point
in the game. But Campbell, he's a senior. He's been
in this he's been in this system for a long time.
So you want to trust your veteran guys. But like
you said, if he's not doing the job, you may
want to get those judges. Maybe give him some more
safety hip over the top, because you don't want to
take the counter away from your player by saying switch
off to him. You cannot guard him. You don't want
(02:36:56):
to say those things. Now you put some safety help,
Maybe shoot him another side to feel you can do
different things with outside of completely take him out of
the position to still gavanize your players while also helping
him out.
Speaker 6 (02:37:08):
That's gonna bring up second down and eleven ball can
be on the twenty five yard line. Eric Hanley lined
up in the Fiel hands the ball off and Ryan Morrow.
Speaker 1 (02:37:18):
Runs into Rick Wall for a second. Ryan Morrow turned
into a turnstile. He gets knocked in his upper body
and does a three sixty before he goes down.
Speaker 6 (02:37:31):
He's gonna be an injured bulldog on the Seals, Devin Pitch,
the guard from Arkansas. He's gonna be evaluated by the
Chinese staff. We're gonna have to see an update on him.
(02:37:52):
Which the game continues to progress. So when the offense
comes back out on the stil going to be third
jousand and nine ball on the twenty seven yard line.
And I guess if you're these bulldogs, what are you
blowing up? What are you looking at to be.
Speaker 9 (02:38:13):
Able to move the ball forward in this situation where
you've only put a five points and on total for
the game, only have one hundred and sixty three yards
of total offense. It's all about getting the ball in
the hands of your type guys, your Keviontey Adams or
Frank Pierre, your walker, to signed up a play to
get the ball the hands of your play marks and have.
Speaker 1 (02:38:34):
Them making a play. Eric Handley cannot do by himself.
Speaker 9 (02:38:37):
He has to put the ball in position with the
players that can make the most impact in a short
amount of time. So whatever your best playing play is
to get the ball in the hands of those guys,
that's what you do in this situation.
Speaker 6 (02:38:50):
We're going to take a quick break and when we
come back, we'll have more football for you. You're listening
to the Bulls. You're listening to Bulldogs Football on the
ALBUMA and M Bulldog Sports Network W A, B S
M N, w J A D dot Org will be
back in two minutes.
Speaker 2 (02:39:26):
M M.
Speaker 14 (02:40:01):
Think Think.
Speaker 2 (02:40:15):
Think Think Think.
Speaker 6 (02:41:17):
Delivered a pass to the sideline. It was complete but
short of the first down, So Rob Cole coming to
punch the ball off and back to the seed for
the Cancers is going to be Dennis Devin Pits, the
injured Bulldog Seed will be out for the remainder of
the game. It is now the fourth quarter. Hyrotechnics are
(02:41:42):
going to be starting up. Everybody is on their feast
here and especially the trade in and in faithful as
their team is up twenty seven to five.
Speaker 1 (02:41:52):
And they've got themselves a big cushion. Hey, Bulldogs are
gonna have to get over. The hump is here and
it ain't Winnsday.
Speaker 5 (02:42:01):
Die.
Speaker 1 (02:42:02):
Bulldogs are well on their half of the week and
it's gonna have to be a big comeback if they
want to make it their weekend as well.
Speaker 6 (02:42:09):
You're going to take another break. You are listening to
Bulldog football on the Alabama and in Bulldog Sports Networks
wj ADFM and WAW dot org. Don't touch that die,
We'll be back in two minutes, all right.
Speaker 3 (02:42:34):
You listened to our simulcast coverage of Perrieview a and
on Panthers football in Huntsville, Alabama. Start another fourth quarter
play Pants on top by the score twenty seven for
five and it has been all Peterson to rockwheel, rockwhee.
Please touchdown passes over one hundred and forty yards and
(02:42:57):
receptions seven passes complete on the day, caught on the day,
and the Panthers and joined a comfortable league headed in
the fourth quarter of play. A lot on the stake
on the line for the Panthers. Panthers trying to maintain
(02:43:18):
poor throttle from the Western Division that they can hold
on and hold out on the final stretch. Panthers on
this there'll be a pretty good shape. With two games
remaining in the regular season and they don't have to
leave the state of Texas at the University of Arkansas
had Pine Bluff on November fifteenth and close out with
(02:43:39):
Mississippi Valley on November twenty second. You're listening to our
simulcast broadcast Banks by way of the Purview Athletic Club
and Temple of Refuge Ministries will now give it their
head back to Huntsville, Alabama for the final quarter plate
(02:44:03):
between the Panthers and the Bulldog. You're listening to the
open night broadcast Netword serving of Community in Faith and Athletics,
the Voice of Students Athletics.
Speaker 6 (02:44:36):
Welcome back to Lewis Cruz Dam in the Roman Hills
of Normal, Alabama. Your score as you start this fourth
quarter is twenty seven two five. Carry you and the
Panthers up. If you are listening to us in Texas,
thanks so much for sticking with us.
Speaker 1 (02:44:54):
Shout out to doctor.
Speaker 6 (02:44:55):
Frinz who was holding it down in Texas. Bronco comes
out onto the field. We have seen him quite a
lot today. Vectoracy for the Panthers is going to be
Andre and getting and ty.
Speaker 1 (02:45:10):
This is the seventh time we've seen Rob Cole trot
out with the punting unit to send the ball back
to preview A and M. And it's still been an
unfortunate offensive day for these Bulldogs. Steal you have to
get a touchdown. All the defense has scored more than
Eric Hanley.
Speaker 6 (02:45:30):
Rob cole On is up and it is prest too far.
It is going to be stair catch as a twenty
yard line, So Peter and company will come back out
onto the field. They have been doing exceptionally well on
these on these past couple of drives, getting these touchdowns,
(02:45:52):
getting it done on the ground and in the air.
Speaker 1 (02:45:57):
Yeah, and man, how about that air packs they've been
They've woken up ever since the end of that first
half and they've given the ball to Rockwell and he's
been rocking steady. Bulldogs in need of another animal. We
might have to bring the Nigga turtles out here.
Speaker 6 (02:46:16):
Two hundred and ninety eight receiving yards for the Panthers too.
See bulldogs in ninety eight. They have ninety nine rushing yards,
bulldogs seventy rushing yards. So Bulldogs have to find a
way to get it done.
Speaker 1 (02:46:36):
That's they are and it starts right here with a
big stop and getting themselves on the board. Fourteen fifty three,
a whole quarter remaining and Bulldogs not down by enough
that you can just need to sleep this one off.
Speaker 6 (02:46:51):
So the first down and ten ball is going to
be placed, Okay, a yard line hundreds hids be able
to get in the backfield. Law is going to be
handed off to Bingman Singman. Ticket for a significant game.
Speaker 1 (02:47:05):
And now that the air attack is open for purview,
the run is starting to work even better. Big Man
gets himself a big Harry.
Speaker 6 (02:47:14):
Second down Peters play action, Rockwell catches the pass. He
has a man to beat Dett to make the tackle
for the Bulldogs is going to be Joshua bless though,
Eddy Rockin all night long.
Speaker 9 (02:47:31):
Eddy Rocking indeed, as Peter's had that rpo option and
and found rock Well on that post, that skinny post
hid all the protection the woods.
Speaker 1 (02:47:41):
To find Rockwell again. That his is his ninth reception and.
Speaker 9 (02:47:45):
He's over one hundred and fifty yards on the day,
and I have a feeling they're going to hit him,
have an attempt to him for his fourth touchdown.
Speaker 6 (02:47:52):
Other day, the big play, definitely the thorn in the
side is there's some trickery and it will be a
review touchdown. Dennis finds his way into the end zone.
Go to Slobe thirty three to five with Webbs come
in to kick the.
Speaker 9 (02:48:10):
Extra point and that would be Dennis's first touchdown on
the day, but this time on the ground.
Speaker 1 (02:48:16):
Prairie View said that.
Speaker 9 (02:48:17):
In the or round reverse in the round situation right
there as they bring the running back and he teaches
back to Dennis and he gets to the edge and
gets to the touchdown that pushes this lead, if my
magic is correct, twenty eighth on the game. As Praview
attempts to extra.
Speaker 1 (02:48:34):
Points and that was a great play call by Prayer
Review had tons of lead blockers Bulldogs unable to even
do anything to stop them.
Speaker 6 (02:48:45):
Web Kake is up and it is good Bulldogs five
Praview A and M thirty three with thirteen minutes fifty
nine thirty four excuse me for thirteen minutes fifty nine
seconds in the fourth quarter. We are going to take
a human grades when we come back, we have more football.
You are listening to Bulldogs football on the Aladema and

We are in the country. If you have an old

call that number. As Web kicks the ball off and
it will go into the end zone for a touchback.
Airic Hanley along with the offensive line Andre Craig, Trey Abner,
(02:52:14):
Isaiah Woking Quo. Will come out onto the field to
their next popping drive.
Speaker 1 (02:52:22):
And looking like this game is starting to get a
little out of hand, Perview, setting themselves up to continue
to control their own destiny as they head I think
march one step closer towards the Black West title. And
if these Bulldogs are looking to get anything started, now
(02:52:44):
is the time and they're going to have to step
up and get themselves down the field play for a
little bit of pride. We got the Q Dogs starting
to represent Preview.
Speaker 6 (02:52:53):
Hanley rolls out to his right and he's going to
be sacked or almost factors he throws the ball out
of down praise view thirty four alabeba A and M
five thirteen minutes, fifty nine seconds in this fourth quarter
to the off side on the defense number ninety nine.
(02:53:16):
So Bulldogs, I'm gonna get some the artist that.
Speaker 1 (02:53:19):
Was Elajuan Sparks Junior, and it'll be a graacious penalty
for our bulldogs. They'll be able to get themselves a
little bit of extra yards and another flight to work with.
Speaker 6 (02:53:34):
First one ten ball is going to be take at
the thirty five yard line. Handley takes the snap, passes
to wolkink Quo, who was going to be hit. Wasn't
able to catch the ball.
Speaker 1 (02:53:51):
Yeah, and hand Lee we just a little bit too
much with that pass. Almost those in our hospital balls
will kin Quo. Thanks the correct decisions. Let's it go past.
Speaker 6 (02:54:05):
That maybe should have been reviewed for its targeting, but
well proceed with third down and ten. While at the
thirty five yard line, receivers stacked to one side, the
motion in the backfield by Parker. Henley takes the snap,
(02:54:26):
drops back in the pocket. He's gonna have to roll
out the pockets collapsing. He goes the pass and it's
going to be incomplete, So another three and out for
the Bulldogs.
Speaker 1 (02:54:37):
And an unfortunate one at that. It's gonna be Robert
Cole coming out to the punt for the eighth time today.
We've been averaging about forty yards a punt, which is
a good news. But unfortunately we're seeing himself a little
bit too much today.
Speaker 6 (02:54:51):
So the Bulldog offense is actually going to stay out
onto the field.
Speaker 1 (02:55:00):
Have the psycoration. It is actually third down, not a
three out for the Bulldogs.
Speaker 6 (02:55:10):
Getting a look at Sam Shade on the JumboTron. Very
easy feel taking some time off the clock. This is
already making some adjustments.
Speaker 1 (02:55:30):
Looks like everybody's trying to get the clock together. Make
sure that we're I was fucking.
Speaker 6 (02:55:40):
Eric Hanley going to be in the gun third down
pocket collapsing be fine, Miles Parker, and that'll be fourced
down officially, that.
Speaker 1 (02:55:55):
Will be so Bulldogs will not make the version on
third down, and you guys have already heard the steel
Robert Cole once again. Nice punt of the day. They'll
be rolling out. Has been great at it, but not
what you'll want to see. Bulldogs not even able to
get into panther territory before they have to send this
(02:56:18):
one away again.
Speaker 6 (02:56:21):
Back for Steve is Lady Dennis. Rob Cole counts the
ball off, Dennis fields it around the twenty seven yard line,
hurdles a defender and he's going to be tackled out
of down. This is I think the second time, and
he's done that.
Speaker 1 (02:56:38):
Yes, it is, and he's telling to fill himself. He
goes fully over Beyonby as he tries to make that
tackle an open field, and that's probably the first time
this season I've ever seen Beyondby in an open field
situation for a tackle, and he comes away looking foolish.
Speaker 6 (02:56:56):

Speaker 1 (02:57:41):
Back star bird fer you're able to get themselves a
big run up the middle. Looks like there was a
flag on the play, however, so we'll have to see
if that hole is opened by something illegal.
Speaker 6 (02:58:00):
And we'll have to stand back to the officials to
see what exactly this call is.
Speaker 1 (02:58:10):
Looks like they're saying they were multiple on the field,
so the referees get together with old mister white hat
to make sure that they got a ruddy.
Speaker 6 (02:58:27):
H Martino Maroon and White, making it difficult for the
officials to relay what exactly is going on. There was
(02:58:54):
heelpies on those teams, as I mentioned, for a little
bit difficult year because marching Maroon and White playing so loud.
A beautifulee toking in eighteen seconds in the fourth quarter
period View thirty four, I would.
Speaker 1 (02:59:08):
At a five, and it's looking like oppunities will all
set themselves, so Prairieview will be first and five get
themselves the first that are down.
Speaker 6 (02:59:24):
This is our adjusting the time on the clock as well.
Speaker 1 (02:59:29):
And you know, while the Bulldogs football team had struggled
against the prayer review, Bulldogs did get a chance to
get a win over the Panthers and the other football
what the soccer team this Wednesday came down to in
the Flock Championships took down Prayerview, their locer team one
to zero.
Speaker 6 (02:59:52):
Shout out to all of our sports. Volleyball has the
game tomorrow as well in Elmore. To make sure that
if you're not doing anything in the after church, depending
on what time your service there is, if he'll stop
buy and support our lady bulldogs the theaters or as
a shot middle Buns to the outside is the Praiview receiver.
He has a blocker and Montreal Campbell stops me just shy,
(03:00:17):
but he actually was able to get that touchdown. So
touchdown Prairie View.
Speaker 9 (03:00:25):
Seems like the same same play they got rock Lay
opened earlier. Now we see number eighty seven channing Fitzgerald
on that RPO crosser that got fitz Gerald out in
space and with the battle to the pile of the
race to the pilon. We talked about track and field.
He see he had some speed on it himself. Is
(03:00:45):
he got ProView into the end zone as they are
a tempted to send.
Speaker 1 (03:00:49):
Their lead for forty one to five and moreover a
ben a Meme was shaded very very loosely on that
receiver up the middle and just give them space to
work and just takes off and leaves are bulldogs in
the dust.
Speaker 9 (03:01:05):
And you have to shout out Peters, who's having him
a career day seventeen for twenty two, three hundred and
ninety four yards through the air and five touchdowns on
the day, his career high in passing yards.
Speaker 3 (03:01:18):
He's been doing.
Speaker 1 (03:01:19):
He's been dishing and.
Speaker 9 (03:01:21):
Dicing this privy offers all over the field, spreading the
ball out to one, two, three for five, six different
receivers with almost four hundred yards passing. I know we're
adabam an am in broadcast. We have to get credit
for Pears for leading this privy charge.
Speaker 1 (03:01:36):
Well, the prayer view faithful is listening into us and
they are loving the fact that their quarterback is doing
so well against these Bulldogs. They've been having trouble lay
in these games, just trying to trying to get themselves
under under management the Bulldogs have and they just continue
to let up very very quick points. Yes, they have leave.
Speaker 9 (03:01:58):
That's been unforsit the trend throughout the entire season. So
if you're Chris Shelling. I don't know what you say
to your team in this position, being that this has
been the trend.
Speaker 1 (03:02:08):
Throughout the whole year. You watch them all week, you
go through practice, you go through walk throughs, you have
a whole week to the taipoint opponent, and it just
seems like the Bulldogs have not been able to figure
out this secondary and you hate to see it for
a team that has so much promise going into the season. Damn,
maybe the Bulldogs would have been better off adding one
(03:02:30):
more piece of film to their research and that was
the Lady's locker game against the Purview women's soccer team
and figure out how to slice up a fanc defense. Possibly.
Speaker 9 (03:02:43):
You know, coaches have different philosophies to bring a game
plan together. So going as the fourth quarter continues, hopefully
you see Chris Shelling making us adjustments on the fly
to get this Bulldog defense. To give a little listening
to this preview offense.
Speaker 6 (03:03:02):
Review forty one Bulldogs five twelve minutes, twenty seconds in
this fourth quarter. Now, we've talked about the clock Championships
implications that this game has that game that Jackson State
plays throughout the course of this year. Everybody's goal is
(03:03:23):
to finish the season in Atlanta, Georgia. Kickoff is at
noon December thirteen for the best team of the SLACK
in the best team of the NIAC to go heads
ahead and be crowned a Black College national champion. Delaware
State at the top of the MIAC right now controlling
their own destiny. They do have a very very big
(03:03:45):
test in South Carolina State, who represented the MIAC last
year in the celebration board.
Speaker 1 (03:03:53):
Yes, right, Derek Todd. Of course I'm not Burton Taylor.
Speaker 9 (03:03:56):
But it seems like in the New York you have
Delaware State, East State, and then the SWAG we have
between Crazier who are playing currently in Jackson State. But
out of those fourteams, I feel like whoever comes out
into the celebration mode, we'll do for their competitive In
a very great.
Speaker 6 (03:04:11):
Matchup Tomak, they decide they're champion. A little bit differently,
they don't have a big grand championship because there's only
sixteen within the conference. So it looks like there's a
possibility next week to be the deciding factor on who
(03:04:32):
will represent the MINAC. And actually I think it next
week actually will be the deciding the decider just.
Speaker 9 (03:04:38):
Like you said, they don't have a set conference championship game,
but next week is the de facto CONASCE championship game.
There is the two best teams in the conference are
going kids ahead. I would definitely be tuning in the
two who comes out, because whoever comes.
Speaker 1 (03:04:50):
Out of that game will be playing as of right now,
Jackson State or Craze you. So I'm excited to get
how that one turns out.
Speaker 6 (03:04:57):
I'm excited to see it. Stupid, what a story that'll
be for or to Shawn Jackson who has taken over
this Delaware State team and the tone surrounding that, especially
around media day when I got to go in Baltimore
over the summer. They will picked to finish last, of course,
and he embreaks the underdog mentality. He wasn't upset about it,
(03:05:18):
and he just said I'm gonna show y'ally that he is.
And Eric Henley comes back out onto the field, lined
up in the gun, hands the ball off Bryan Morrow,
John a bounce to the outside and he's going to
be tackled after a very short game.
Speaker 1 (03:05:32):
Yeah, to your points, I something about basic first year coaches.
You really don't know what you're.
Speaker 9 (03:05:37):
Gonna get you could have a season like you shared
with DeShawn Jackson where the team just coops right away
and there's other coaches throughout FDN and FBN that it
takes him a little bit of time. So shout out
to Deshaun Jackson. Were able to chant the culture that
institution early, and he deser says early as well.
Speaker 6 (03:05:55):
Running the ball again will be morrow. It's a couple
of y'all and that will bring up third down for
the Bulldogs. And actually this will be the second year
that our first year head coach over in the MIAK
will be able to take their team to the Celebration Bowls.
Should Deshaun Jackson pull this off. And the last person
(03:06:16):
to do it is the person that he faced next
week in tennis Furry Ten'sbury coming from Benedict, It's hard.
Speaker 9 (03:06:24):
To script up a better matchup the next leek. I
know we're at Kullak School, but I would definitely be
pulled into what's going on.
Speaker 1 (03:06:31):
In the mediac next week. Well, I mean, as fans
of black football everywhere, a good mediac game is a
good game regardless.
Speaker 6 (03:06:40):
Eric Hanley drops back in the pocket receiver Michai Maddick
drops the ball. He was hit very hard. Blow to
get up. Harry View is celebrating as if it's as
if it were a humble, but the officials are going to.
Speaker 15 (03:06:57):
Say that it's an incomplete path and man, they lay
a hit on automatic as he finds himself.
Speaker 1 (03:07:09):
A little slow. He's able to get himself up and
walk back to the sideline. But he looks like me
if I were able to get out there and take
my first hit.
Speaker 6 (03:07:18):
Behind Maatics, the five foot ten, one hundred and sixty
five pounds freshman from Tallahassee, Florida. My neck of the
was the eight to five oh was the intended receiver.
As Rob Cole comes to punch, he goll Off Andre Dennis,
Dennis call for a fair catch at the thirty eight
yard line.
Speaker 5 (03:07:39):
Man.
Speaker 1 (03:07:40):
Just like that, the Panthers have the ball once again,
and it's as tom possession is starting to slowly eclipse itself.
With Prairieview nineteen fifty four to our Bulldogs twenty seven minutes,
it's starting to get into the point where Purview has
not only dominated on offense, but also dominated in possession
(03:08:04):
of the ball.
Speaker 9 (03:08:06):
Yes, and if you're a pair of you fan being
that you have a thirty six point lead, and just
what I'm about to say right now, Peter seems to
be done for the day.
Speaker 1 (03:08:15):
His backup Carter, Tevin.
Speaker 9 (03:08:17):
Carter, seems to be going to be taking the snaps
of the rest of of course, Tevin Carter started out
the season for the parents, but did lose the drive
to Peter. But he's a great quarterback in his own right.
Speaker 6 (03:08:27):
Is ProView starts their drive, Patrick Bird shoots up the gap,
picks up a couple of yards, so that'll bring up
second down.
Speaker 1 (03:08:38):
And he'll be slow to get up as one of
those panthers as the stem thing, but unable to get
himself off the field.
Speaker 6 (03:08:49):
Be an injured panther. He's going to be assessed by yes,
but it's training gaff. We are going to take a
one minute break. Is now being helped up. You're listening
to Bulldogs Football on the Alema and the Bulldog Ports
(03:09:12):
Networks w BAB FM and waby dot work. During the break,
(03:10:25):
Wyatt right was a big, big play quarterback. Try to
throw it over the middle, that same RPO crosser that
we were talking about. Whyatt right there makes that interception?
Tonight'll be first and ten at the fifty yard line,
Bulldog's ball.
Speaker 1 (03:10:41):
Well, guy, you know put me three times, shame on me,
but can't give me that fourth time. Bulldog step up
and getting the way of that cross pass, get an interception,
get the offense back on the field.
Speaker 6 (03:10:53):
That is a mauricism that's flat for us person ten. Oh,
but the fifty yard line, Hanley drop back in the
pocket intended receiver Isaiah well King Quo and it is
incomplete and actually correction in the game. Right now is
Ashley Tucker Junior.
Speaker 1 (03:11:12):
Tucker getting himself starting to get his seat a little
wet as he gets back onto the field and gets
himself his first half attempt of the day, and unfortunately
it says off. The Mark throws at a little short
and wide of no kin Quo and Bulldogs now second ten,
meeting to get themselves a little bit of something to
(03:11:35):
start some momentum.
Speaker 6 (03:11:38):
That has been his first throw since Blaane College. And
if you tune into our coaches show, as Tucker Junior
drops back in the pocket and delivers a shock that
is nearly picked off. Kache told me that Ashley Tucker
Junior was in a car accident and That's why when
we've had our quarterback wos over the course of the season,
(03:12:01):
he was not in the mix and it went straight
to JD. Davis, who was the four string quarterback who
had to, you know, put the team on his back
and carry us through this grambling game. So as I'm
scribbling on our our whiteboard here, I'm literally writing down,
why not JD.
Speaker 2 (03:12:17):
Davis?
Speaker 6 (03:12:18):
Why go to Ashley Tucker Junior?
Speaker 1 (03:12:20):
Here?
Speaker 6 (03:12:21):
I understand taking out Eric Hanley for the duration of
the game.
Speaker 2 (03:12:25):
But.
Speaker 1 (03:12:27):
I'm a little I'm a little confused by that. Well,
I mean, we want to see Tucker get himself some snaps.
You know, we haven't seen him fifty days now.
Speaker 6 (03:12:36):
Tucker passes the ball to trayveonce Abner and that's going
to be incomplete as well.
Speaker 1 (03:12:43):
And moreover, we got to get these guys ready for
a wife pass our life after Kwad Brown as these
Bulldogs are going to have to get themselves in position
to get ready for the next season. And in the
case that they need a great second string quarterback or
someone to step up and take the rains, Coach Shade
(03:13:06):
is going to have to get his different qbs in
and make sure that they can get themselves able to
take a handle all sense if they need to.
Speaker 6 (03:13:16):
Dennis calls for a fair catch at the seventeen yard line,
So coming out on so field will be Carter, you
are joining us from Texas. Just want to say hello
again and thank you so much for seeking with us
through the duration of this game. What a great opportunity
to simulcast and be able to get our names and
(03:13:39):
our voices all the way out to the lone Star State.
What a great partnership.
Speaker 1 (03:13:44):
Yeah, and it's been great to get ourselves over in,
you know, getting a shout down in Texas because you know,
it's always bigger down there, and Bulldogs are trying to
make sure that the only big thing is not the prayer.
If you score on the board.
Speaker 6 (03:14:02):
Forty one to five, nine minutes thirty seven seconds in
the first quarter, Wilburn Smallwood were able to cause a fumble,
but it'll be recovered by Prairie View. So whoo, that
was a close call for the Panthers.
Speaker 1 (03:14:17):
I was but how about Wilbrim Smallwood getting themselves in
in the play and his energy is always infectious. It
looked like it was just a bobble snap that Wie
Smallwood tried to dive on top of got there.
Speaker 6 (03:14:31):
Carter takes the snap, hands the ball off there was
the running backs were able to bounce out to the outside.
Has some blockers. That'll be Shatrick Byrd who gets a
fresh set of downs for Prairie View.
Speaker 1 (03:14:45):
And we're seeing Prayer Review do the things that the
Bulldogs couldn't. They mumped the snap and almost put themselves
inside of their own five yard line, but they come
right back with a big run, bounces between two defenders,
finds open field and and gets themselves just at the
presientice the Bulldog territory.
Speaker 6 (03:15:03):
Eight minutes, thirty seven seconds, forty one to five perad
View is up first down in ten while he's going
to be at the forty one yard line. Big run
by Bird on the last place. If he takes the
hand off again, bound it out to the left side
(03:15:26):
and he'll be tackled, but not without picking up another
fresh set of downs for the Panthers.
Speaker 1 (03:15:35):
And Bird has been explodes off of that cut, and
that guy's got some speed to him. Just saw him
below pass two and of defenders. Thankfully, a Bulldog secondary's
able to stop him, but not before he gets that
first down, first and ten ball is.
Speaker 6 (03:15:51):
Going to be falling the forty nine yard line. He's
kind of like a like a swingshot. I mean he
doesn't necessarily get pulled.
Speaker 1 (03:16:01):
Back, but I mean once he once, he's going. It's
like when you when you drop a torpedo into the water.
He's just like nip the.
Speaker 6 (03:16:08):
Gone right, He's just out of there. Here. You you
got a good one. In Tragic Bird, he takes a
handoff once again, tries to shoot up that gap. However,
Kylo and Roberts.
Speaker 1 (03:16:22):
Gonna give him a big hug, and two other bulldogs
wrapped around him, one on his leg as well, and
mister Bird trying to find himself out of that cage,
but tew to fly like an eagle on the next play.
Speaker 6 (03:16:38):
Second undred ten seven minutes lesson in the game, forty
one to five, and I mean praivy in control of
their own destiny here in terms of the celebration goal
(03:17:00):
in their trip to the celebration ball, and we're getting
a look at head coach Tremaine Jackson on the jumbo
tron as Carter decides to take it himself. He has
one man to beat and he'll be tackled from behind
the man Carter able to get in on that rushing mix.
(03:17:20):
It picks up a first down in significant yardage for
the Panther, So they are now in Bulldogs territory. But
like I was saying before, as Tremaine Jackson was on
the screen, there's a video of him going kind of
our role where he is singing to his players as
they're kind of stretching and he's talking about how you
know there's a he kids saying like Atlanta. I wish
(03:17:43):
I would have like downloaded it to my phone, but
he was making it very clear that's where he wanted
to be. It's something like a oh spiritual really manifesting that,
putting that in the air and made it to the
gospel some reasons. Firstus in while I say five yard line,
Carter and the ball off the bird, Bird bounces up
(03:18:04):
to be outside. Bird is going to be tackled.
Speaker 1 (03:18:09):
Now before you stores to just barely short of that
first down. It's gonna be two yards short. But they've
got themselves into the Bulldog red zone and they are
eyeing another score to continue to pile it on these Bulldogs.
Speaker 6 (03:18:30):
Five minutes, ten seconds, forty one to five. Getting an
update here from our jouncy standers on the Pasion Cookman
and Grambling score, Grambling up by four futty nine seconds
and the fourth quarter as Carter hands the ball off
(03:18:55):
turns into a big, big pile such as there is
going to be brought down at around.
Speaker 1 (03:19:03):
The fifteen yard line, back to where Chauncy sanderss Spanders
were saying.
Speaker 9 (03:19:07):
Of course Praiview has control of their own dec but
they could get a lot of help with the Thune Cookman.
Speaker 1 (03:19:13):
Currently, Bethune Cookming.
Speaker 9 (03:19:15):
And Prayer in Grambling State ran a tight battle in
the fourth quarter twenty four to twenty of Grambling State
with the lead with the ball at the Bethune Cookman
eighty yard line. If you're a Praierview fan, you definitely
hold Bethune Cooking can get a stop, get the ball
back and hopefully win the In games now, we've seen
so many of those Gramblings.
Speaker 1 (03:19:34):
They games come down to the wire, so the even
always always keeping it close and giving y'all something to
worry about.
Speaker 6 (03:19:43):
Forty as Bird, who's up the middle again will be
brought down just shy of the end zone.
Speaker 1 (03:19:52):
Bird almost breaks through one of our bulldog defenders treating
them like a brick wall. Thankfully that bulldog isn't that
made a break take some just short of that goal line.
Speaker 6 (03:20:05):
Panther's knocking on the door. Now as Carter is lined
up in the gun to receivers to the left one
to the right, he hands the ball off the Bird,
who very easily gets into the end zone, improving the
four or the Panthers to forty seven to Bulldogs hides.
Speaker 1 (03:20:23):
You know, I don't even think I saw Bird for
n he was in first year the entire way through.
Speaker 6 (03:20:30):
Yeah, you know, it's just a little disrespectful if we're
looking at it back on the jumbo tron. And I'm
saying this in the sense of if you're an Alabama
and Them bulldog player, you gotta you gotta probably have
to come in at some point. You gotta feel some
type of way that dude. They're just kind of gallivanting
into the end zone. As he gives a look at
(03:20:50):
the jumbo tron here and we see Tremaine Jackson getting
a warm embrace to Shadrick. Bird kicks up and it
is going to be good. So forty eight to five.
Praise you for three minutes twenty six seconds. Let's to
go in the game.
Speaker 9 (03:21:05):
Yeah, God, it definitely comes down to pride. We talked
about in the pregame in early on in the game.
The Bulldogs were undefeated at Lewis Hoo Stadium going into
this game. But for Prairie View to come in and dominate,
putting up almost fifty points on the home person, it
can't feel good for the Bulldogs on the fenlispation. Not
(03:21:25):
the Bulldogs in this booth right here, Preview over six
hundred yards in total offense, Maurice, you can't have that
year a bulldog man, No, and Rockwell.
Speaker 1 (03:21:36):
By himself has more yards than our Bulldog offense. Today
you are one hundred and eighty three yards on the day.
Bulldogs still at one sixty seven, I believe. And it
really is down the product. You guys were saying, Bulldogs
one hundred and seventy four yards of offense, and we're
we were seeing a little bit earlier in the game
(03:21:57):
some of the Q Dogs on the Bulldog side trying
to wave and cheer like they were part of the
other team. And it's really something that these Bulldogs are
gonna have to take take a moment and look within
themselves and go we have to play better.
Speaker 9 (03:22:18):
Yes, and back to euro point Marie, we have to
say we have to play better. And the team that
is struggling or disappointing to me is the running defense.
Last week against greml And State, we saw that our
defense playing exceptional, only giving up fifty one yards on
the ground. But today, right now Gramley, they's two hundred
(03:22:39):
and thirteen yards on the ground. You would think that
they took those positives from last week into this week,
but they've definitely struggled against this running back by community
led by Bigham for praise you.
Speaker 6 (03:22:52):
The facility. A flag is Donovan teams calls for a
fair catch. This will be first down in ten for
the Bulldogs. Actually, Tucker Junior still in at quarterbacks. Pray
(03:23:18):
you A and M forty eight Bulldogs by three minutes
at least six seconds left in this fourth quarter.
Speaker 1 (03:23:26):
Boldogs do have a chance here to deal establish a
little bit of rhythm if they're able to find themselves
into Panther's territory. Uh, it'll be the small victories that
they'll have to gain that they want to get themselves
back right for fam you next week.
Speaker 6 (03:23:45):
Quarter A and M at home. It'll be senior Day.
Come out and support this here.
Speaker 1 (03:23:52):
And Ty, I know you're vig fan of this upcoming
matchup next week.
Speaker 6 (03:23:56):
I'm rooting for A and M.
Speaker 1 (03:23:59):
Really yeah, wait, waitscha, that is a great question.
Speaker 9 (03:24:03):
We are going to see how Ty Floyd please the
Impartial Roads next week, which could be very interesting.
Speaker 6 (03:24:10):
Guys, I'm going for A and M.
Speaker 1 (03:24:12):
Yeah, I'm sure you are.
Speaker 6 (03:24:14):
I'm rooting for the Hill.
Speaker 1 (03:24:16):
Oh there you go. Wait the Hill, d Hugh.
Speaker 6 (03:24:19):
You know the Hill? Well, actually both schools are regarded
as the Hill. It's a huge debate. There is a huge, huge,
huge debate that happens. And actually when we went there
last year to play, I got to take my friends
around campus and just kind of show them, you know,
where I went to class, the Eternal Flame, the Squad,
(03:24:40):
and they said where Hell's at? So, you know, I
guess it just depends on where you're at. It actually
suckings in your hands, the ball all run back, hoops
up the gap. That's Antonio Adams.
Speaker 1 (03:24:53):
That's all right though, I mean, I know you, I
know you guys call it the Hill where wherever they
may be. But we got ourselves in a big heel
over here.
Speaker 6 (03:25:05):
Oh my god, they're down into our producer Ton C.
Sanders is man given me an earful as Antonio Adams
takes the ball again, her of you as celebrating as
if they were able to get the job. We'll stand
by for the officials to see where they bought the ball,
and we are approaching the two minute warnings, and it.
Speaker 1 (03:25:27):
Looks like they're gonna mark that ball right and that
forty fifty yard line, So that will be good for
the Bulldogs to get themselves a first down.
Speaker 6 (03:25:38):
All that celebrating just for it to be a first down. Now,
I've always found a lot of humor and CDs celebrating
when ultimately it was just an overthrown ball. And you know,
here in this particular instance, preview defensive line celebrating and
it just will happened to be a first down anyway.
Speaker 1 (03:25:59):
You know, sometimes you gotta take credit for the good
things that happen, even if you're not a part of
the next.
Speaker 6 (03:26:05):
Men's basketball game will be November thirteen at seven pm
versus Charleston's Southern and the Alabama A and M Events
Center's Military Appreciation. It'll be at seven o'clock so make
sure that you wear your camouflage in support of all
of our veterans and active military members. Shout out to
all of you. I am rocking my Camo camps in
(03:26:26):
support of all of you for our Military Appreciation Day.
We're gonna take a one minute break. When we come back,
we have the rest of the game. You're listening to
Bulldog Football on the ALABEBA, A and M, Bulldog Sports Network, WABYSM,
and w baby Dotwork. Welcome back to Blue to the Stadium.
(03:27:55):
As Ashley Tucker Junior is going to be lined up
the pistols, he hens the ball off to Antonio Adams.
Speaker 1 (03:28:04):
It will be a game of about three yards and
it's another biggest stop for the Panthers. They're jumping up
and celebrate and knowing that all they need to do
is make sure these Bulldogs don't convert the first down
and they'll be able to hit the victory formation, and
they have all the reason in the world to be celebrated,
(03:28:25):
holding a Bulldog offense who averages about thirty points a
game on the year to only five at home. If
you're a playerview fan, you love to see that it's
spaced out of.
Speaker 6 (03:28:35):
Your defense, Ashley Pucker Junior also known as Acjagins Widosh
Antonio Adams, it'll bring up third down and for a
few forty eight out of five one minute eight seconds
left in the game.
Speaker 5 (03:28:55):
And ty.
Speaker 1 (03:28:57):
This is while the core is extreme and lopsided, as
an opponent score in the forties is not all that uncommon.
These Bulldogs have allowed and their losses forty four and
a half points to their opposing teammate to their opposing team.
Speaker 6 (03:29:15):
Time is windysy down. Now, make sure to stay connected
with us on all of our social media for your
latest in Bulldog news and coverage. As actually Tucker Junior

To miss you will have all the insights of tonight's
game and of course, looking into next week as the
home closer against Florida A and.
Speaker 1 (03:29:55):
M, there's definitely some negatives to come from this.
Speaker 9 (03:29:59):
Game with me and Choms do our best to bring
us the positive and negatives out of this game and if.
Speaker 1 (03:30:04):
The Bulldogs will follow unfortunately to four and six on
the season. Yeah, and I was staying last week that
the Bulldogs are finding do an interesting ways to drop
these contests. Today, Bulldogs unable to even find the end zone.
They get a field goal in a safety, the rare
safety to put five points on the board, but nothing else. Yeah,
(03:30:25):
this is the first time all season we have not
scored in the end zone.
Speaker 2 (03:30:29):
Release.
Speaker 1 (03:30:29):
Looking at the game against.
Speaker 9 (03:30:31):
Arkansas, we scored pay Arkansas, we scored of course many
points against Jack and State Alabama. Stage is on paper
superior teams. They praier you, but it seems like prayer you.
They're coaching staff, Tremaine Jack Try and Christophoot Bugen and
Brandon Anderson, Trent Early, they all schemed up a proper
game plan to shut this bluetout offense down.
Speaker 1 (03:30:52):
Yeah, and they step up in a big way. They
are Early had struggles getting any type of offense going.
They find out that mister Rockwell is ready to rock
steady all night long, and that just whips for that
turns on a different switch for the Panthers. They get
down the field, get themselves three touchdowns in a hurry,
(03:31:13):
and they don't look back. Yeah, the game definitely opened
up there, not just Rockwell.
Speaker 9 (03:31:18):
You had Dennis who had full receptions for eighty nine
yards in the game. His Gerald had won big pad
for fifty six yards. Banks had another big play for
thirty nine yards. Jones had two sessions between three yards
and the Barrel had one reception for four yards. So
Peters was able to spread the balling round for a
much suit of receivers to all his weapons.
Speaker 1 (03:31:39):
That led his team to victory. And unfortunately Bulldogs also
had tons of receivers get in them and works today,
eight different receivers getting catching passes and none of them
able to do or get over twenty yards.
Speaker 6 (03:31:57):
The final score will he Prairie you forty eight Alabama
and them five. To all of our friends over in
Texas who joined us for this broadcast, thank you so
so much. Best of Luxury par review as they love
to conquer the Flack West. And then we'll play Jackson
State as it stands currently in the Black Championships. December sixth,
(03:32:23):
just a week before the celebration goal This has been
Bulldog football on w JAB SM and WJAB dot Org.
Don't touch that dial. Make sure you stay for the
post game show with Evan Mains and Chouncey Standards the
type Floyd and Maurice Brooks with you next week against
Florida A and m.
Speaker 3 (03:32:46):
Well. There you have it, ladies and gentlemen. The Panthers
go on the road and take care of business in
great fashion. Forty eight to five was the final score.
Panthers doing everything to prove that they're still the dominant
(03:33:08):
seed in the Western di Visit started out slow, rough
and rugged, but they did turn it up. It was
fourteen to five at the half. Rockwell gets the two
second remaining touchdown and the Panthers exploded after that, pitched
(03:33:32):
a shutout in the second half of play. You want
to pause real quickly, trying to gather us some scores
for you. We'll be right back to the little post
game touch Thanks to w JAB and miss Ty Floyd
and Cool for providing us with the play by play

things up. You listen to the Upper Mic Broadcast Network.
(03:34:32):
Our first final. University of Arkansas Pine Bluff came up
just a tad shot against the Family Rattlers, final score
thirty one to twenty eight. Mississippi Valley had no answers
for Jackson State. Jackson State wins by the score of
(03:34:55):
forty two to three. Alabama State takes care of business
(03:35:17):
against Texas Southern final score of forty two to twenty four.
(03:35:46):
In the fourth quarter play. For gold Cookman is trailing
Brownland by the score of thirty one.
Speaker 10 (03:35:58):
To twenty three. That's in the fourth quarter play. Another score.
