Look, we still don't have theperfect intro, so this is gonna have
to differ. Turn it up.Standard disclaimer. The intro you are currently
hearing is not the official intro ofbe on the Playlist podcast and iHeartRadio podcast
Friday. I really don't you hatedthat much? Don't like? Yeah,

(00:22):
that's why I talked over it becausethat's not our real intro. Mikayla,
you agree with me, I do. But John, I get it.
He wants someone else to introduce it. No, I guess it's sounds just
that it just it feels like andneeds to just say. John wants it
to sound like John Camuchi featuring hisgo work. I mean, I just

(00:44):
want to sound cool. No,my friend said you were funny, just
you though, actually she said myfriends are funny. We're having reviews from
this podcast now. I'm having peopletext me and they're like, wait,
your co host. I don't knowwhat, God, this is so random,
but you know what song's been stuckin my head all week? I

(01:06):
can't stop getting that song out ofmy head. Mine is the Usher one
Oh Strangers, because like, whatfing is that? I'm like, listen
to the podcast, and you knowwhy is that my answer to literally everything.
Someone in the office asking me abouta song I was singing the other
day. I was like, well, if you listen to my podcast,
you might know what now. Yeah, I don't know, honestly, good.
We'll get whoever we can by anymeans possible. Right now, you're

(01:27):
just gonna play that little bit, yeah, four seconds, go too far
into it? Okay, welcome backon the playlist. My name is John
Michaela's here, Hi, Mirley's here. Hello. We're back for another new
episode and we're trying something new today. We might try a few new things
today. First of all, we'redoing this today on a Friday, which
is new for us. We normallydo this podcast on Mondays, which kind

(01:48):
of gives us the weekend to gothrough all the new music and kind of
collect our thoughts. But three dayweekend, baby, not for me.
Baby, Oh you have to work, Yeah, I gotta work. Bummer
a Yeah, I'll go out oftown. Nice. I'm remember that time

(02:08):
he told us that, and likehis friend was supposed to be set up
with Jessica and then they were supposedto get married, and me too.
We were at Marley's birthday party andwe tried to set up Mikayla's roommate with
one of my friends and we invitedthem on this trip that we're going on
tomorrow and didn't follow up. Yeah, so this is Hey, it's never
too late though, four am tomorrow'swhen we're leaving. If you want to

(02:30):
come by, the invite is open. I have plans yea working anyway.
We're hustlers, So we decided we'ddo this podcast on a Friday, even
though we're not going to be hereMonday, and that's why we're gonna do
it anyway. So here's my secondidea. You guys ready for my second
switch up? What so I wasthinking, does Michaela look a comnion today?

(02:55):
No, I'm so conscious. Ilike glasses. They look so my
eyes look like literal like beauty budbecause my descriptions are so strong, like
truly, so tiny like an ant. They look like an ant because my
prescription is negative fifteen hundred. Ohthat's true. She's very blind. Do

(03:15):
you want to try the one?Wait? Please do? Oh my god,
Oh my god. Imagine So you'retelling me right now without glasses,
this is how you see the world. Yeah, you know, my biggest
fears. What if you woke upin the middle of the night and there
was a fire. Oh my god, email button. That's so triggering.

(03:38):
John. It's like my glasses onthe side of my nightstand. What if
I came in there and took them. Well, then guess what that sucks
for me because that's it. Ican't see anything. I'm like, hello,
get up and run straight into awall. I mean, good thing,
I know, kind of in myroom. But yeah, i'd in
contact. So it's not you guysare no, But that's how you would
know when you put them on withthe contacts. Then let me see that.

(04:00):
I can't even see what's going onhere, Like are you passing?
You look like you're high right now. That's wild. That's pretty bad.
Mikaela. Yeah, here, I'llpass this back to Oh that hurts my
eyes. I know. I'm likerecovering from that. Here you go up
here over here? John, Ohlittle bummers. So today I thought that,

(04:23):
uh, for this past the oxsection, we go one at a
time, just one each, allthe way around until we don't have anymore.
We could do that if we wantedto. Yeah, let's try it
out. Let's see what happens.Let's get a little try and see how
it feels. All right, solet's plug this in here and go over
this yek music. Okay, allright, My first song I'm gonna bring

(04:44):
no not really. Yeah, wecovered that last week. So first song
today, I take one of thebiggest released. It's going to be Dua
Lipa's training Seasons. Feels like Ilike this. What do you think?
I like it too? Do youguys like it? I like it?

(05:05):
Yeah? Did she see miss atthe Grammys? She did. Yeah,
this is one of the ones shesang at the Grammys. It feels very
duly. I think that's why Ididn't think it was a new release.
Oh, because you've heard it before. I heard it, and I was
confused. Yeah it hasn't. Thisalready been out? But who do you
need better? I think better?Who didn't he better? I mean,
I think who needs better? Personally? You too, I don't. But

(05:29):
it's still really good. It isstill really good. I agree, And
I don't think she misses honestly,Oh man, she doesn't know how to
miss. I think it's not inher capabilities. She said she wrote this
because she went on a string ofbad dates and the last bad date was
the last straw. So she's doneessentially with training season on training guys how
to date. Like she feels likeshe's training people because no one knows how

(05:50):
to go on dates properly. Soshe's like, I'm over this training Season's
over. I'm not teaching you whatto do anymore interesting? Right? Yeah?
But who takes Duali on a baddate? But like you'd think if
you're going on a date with dualeap up, you would be like,
oh, I'm going to be onmy best behavior. I mean it's because
of the men. I mean, please ask me my lost good date.

(06:13):
I don't know. I feel likeI wasn't going to say it, but
I mean I could be okay.So for you, MICHAELA, when you
go on dates, like, whatis the most common bad mistake you see?
What's the most common thing you runinto? Oh, this is a
good question. I just think it'syou can just tell right away from a
vibing with somebody, and it's likehow they ask things and if they're a

(06:33):
certain way, like for example,if they're into the gym and they ask
me, oh, do you goto jym? Like not? Or the
time like oh, so what doyou do to work out? You don't
work out? And I'm like, gone, good night. Yeah, no,
I don't can you tell if youdon't say it, like it's impossible
for them to recognize. Yeah,And if someone can't like keep the conversation

(06:56):
going, that's a little bit stressful. Or just like take like a guy
to me to a bar when hedoesn't drink. So now I'm the only
one drinking in my lush now,so now he's just sitting there watching you
drink. And he didn't communicate thatahead. Then another guy like he didn't
want to a bar because there wasa cover fee. So wait, wait,
repeat that there was a how muchwas the cover before that he took?

(07:19):
Yeah, we went to a bar, okay, and we had to
leave because he didn't want to paythe cover. Okay, that's that's what
I thought. Yeah, but alittle bit, I guess what, I
drove him to the next bar,so I did. Oh, and then
after that he asked if I coulddrive him home. Training season is over.
From a camera, I'm asking thisin the most respectful way, but
like, do you think maybe youjust have like bad radar for guys?

(07:43):
You know? And I mean it'srespectfully, but I'm just saying, maybe
you go on hinge and maybe you'relooking for the wrong things or no,
he's you always say you're too pickyor people say, Mikaila, you're too
picky, but then I'm not,and this is what happens. That's a
great Okay, Yeah, that's afantastic way. That's really hard to argue
you. And I also think it'sjust I think I've said this before,
it's harder to read guys on datingapps because they're less digitally social, Like

(08:07):
they don't have as many pictures, they don't know how to really be online
as much as typically girls do.I think yeah. And I just think
like a lot of guys right nowin our age like aren't looking for anything
serious, and like they either makeit known or they don't. Yeah,
especially in LA I think yeah. And so I think that's the hardest thing
too. It's like when do youwant to settle? I know you're like
a little bit more immature than me, but you know, I just think

(08:28):
you need to figure it out atsome age. This is your song.
Actually, training season is over,so that's my pick. T that's my
first one. Okay, nice Okay, let's pass over to Mikayla. You're
next. What's up? Let's putthis in? Okay, nice? What
are you bringing? So? Myfirst song is from Connor Maynard. Do

(08:48):
you guys know who he is?Yes? I love him. I've been
listening to him since I was inhigh school, which is crazy. And
he started off too on YouTube.Yeah you too, doing covers so good.
When I lived in London for schoolI saw him. Wait you've lived
in London for school? Yeah,b I never knew that. I did.

(09:09):
The best time in my life, truly was. It's so fun.
So I saw him there. Itwas actually I forgot the wards show there
that's famous the Brits. Yep.Yeah, we went to an event there
at the O two and saw himgreat. Loved his music. But he
just released an EP called Maybe Iand has three songs on it and so
good. I think he just hasa unique sound. It's so kind of

(09:31):
R and B but pop, butI'm feeling it. First song is don't
hold back the Rain You ever? Then you tell me whatever the baby,
don't you tell me? Just behonest? Okay, give a reason.

(09:52):
That's it. That's what he's saying. I mean Yeah, if you listen
to the song, I think it'sjust like, just like you said,
just be honest, Like, don'tsay it's nothing. Like in any relationship,
wouldn't you want to know where itwent wrong or why or even if
someone like there was someone else, just just say say, just give the
reasons so we can just move onand call it what it is. Yeah,
So I'm bad at that. Tobe honest, I aspire to be

(10:16):
that way, but like I'm justsometimes I'm bad at that. Yeah.
Like there's a line in the songthat says it's like you'd rather break my
heart than be honest, But it'slike, either way, it's probably going
to be that. Yeah, youknow exactly. I think either way,
if you're going to break a heart, sometimes i'd just like rather not get
into the details because like, Imean, this is over anyway, you
know, but wouldn't you want theclosure. I think that's what I'm saying.
It's like, yeah, either way, his heart's gonna be broken.

(10:39):
Just talent, you might as wellsay, you know, I get that.
I get that. Yeah, Sothat was my pick. Excited.
I hope there's more music besides this, But all right, Marley, your
next up here. I'm ready bringus one. Okay, So my first
pick is Alexander twenty three. Hedropped a song on Valentine's Day. It's
called on My Mind on a playFine and it sounds good. I love

(11:09):
this one because it's kind of alittle funky dude. Yeah, he actually
called it a funky exploration of love. I feel that's how he was like
described it on his Instagram reel becausehe posted like a ten minute Instagram reel
on the production of the song.Oh okay, because he actually wrote this
last Valentine's Day about someone he wasseeing at the time that he was really
excited about and then it obviously didn'twork out. Yeah, but the verses

(11:33):
are my favorite part of the songbecause they're kind of like a conversation but
like with himself, Like it's likehis inner thoughts coming out. So the
second verse, it goes, you'relate for work, you're rushing out the
door, and then it's I wishI could stay or I wish you could
stay. They're like the work yourRussian out the door. There's a line

(11:58):
where he goes, but girl,if you ever need time on your own,
and then it's he goes in theback, I'll give you some space,
and then it's like a fifteen secondinstrumental and he goes, is that
in the space. It's so cuteand fun. So I love it.

(12:22):
But that was my first pick.Yeah, this one to me like felt
very old timey to me. Somehow. I feel like this part right here
just on my mind. Play itfine. This like chromatic run just feels
so old timy to me, AndI felt like kind of an old school
love song but with a fun, like up tempo funk feel to it.
He has a Corey Wong is featuredon it, and that's where like the

(12:46):
guitar comes in. I love that. Yeah, even when I was listening
the last thirty seconds, it's justlike a guitar breakdown. So cool.
But it's it's a really cool song. So I liked that one bringing you
out. So my next pick ofthe day is gonna go. It's just

(13:07):
Sad Boy Sad Girl season dive fromHolly humber Stuff major sad Boy Sad Girl
vibes here just absolute major. Iloved this pic. This one to me
felt like old Holly Humberstone, likethe sound of hers that I really fell

(13:30):
in love with. It's this mixbetween like this sad girl pop, but
it's also alternative. There's this likeguitar riff that she just uses in this
and it makes me want to likerock out to it in my room,
like at the top of my lungs. It's this guitar in the background,

(13:52):
and she's kind of talking about likehow she's i mean, maybe toxic or
just dangerous. Like she has thisverse where she talks about how she just
ruins everything and like it isn't goingto be easy, and she says in
the pre chorus, it's not likein the movies where you'll come over and
just try and fix me. Butthe moral of the song is if you
know all that and you still wantto dive in, have at it.

(14:13):
Dive in. And it's this dark, like isolating kind of vibe to it.
I almost thought of it as likea thought of like a self sabotage
song. Yeah too. So Ijust feel like I was listening to this
on the way home yesterday because shereleased it earlier this week. It wasn't
last night. I think it wasalso on Valentine's Day. Yeah, I
think you're right. It was Valentine'sDay and sometimes when I hear a song

(14:33):
like this that just puts me ina trance, I'll look at the street
in front of me and I'll unFocusmy eyes. That it's really unsafe to
do while driving. I do notrecommend, but like you look forward and
you just unFocus your eyes and justyou zone out to the music, and
it makes me feel like I'm ina movie when I hear. Something funny
about that is I always had tohave my GPS on the way home because

(14:54):
one time I drove like twenty minutespast my street. Vibe into the music.
I'm so good. So that's myfirst pick. Here, take this,
MICHAELA coming back to you. Alrighty. So my next song is from
People Are Ugly and they actually performedthe artist that's the artist. Okay,

(15:18):
so they like a pop punk band. They actually performed a jingle ball in
New York at the pre show, and that's where I first heard of them
pretty much, or first saw themperform, because I jsk I actually knew
of them before and had mentioned oneof their songs. But I think their
music's really fun. It brings usback to like early two thousand's pop punk
rock, and it reminds me somuch of like Mister bright Side, and

(15:41):
especially with like the nan nas andlike the telling of a story of like
a guy meeting a girl's parents forthe first time being inappropriate. So when
you hear the song, it's justI didn't want to play the verse because
it's kind of inappropriate. But thechorus is one hundred percent going to bring
you back to high school mid EmoIsland straight here a little bit. Yeah,

(16:15):
wait, that's so cool. Ilike that. Yeah, so the
music is really fun. So thisis just a fun song. It caught
my attention, and I think they'reactually like having a release party in our
late a night for this song.Yeah, is this an invite? I
don't know. I don't know.Okay, I wasn't invited. So well,
we got a break real quick,so let me head into commercials and

(16:36):
then we'll hit the rest of thesongs on the flip side of this.
We'll be right back and we're back, all right. We have a little
bit of music still to go here, so let's continue. I realized the
ox in and out between each ofus is probably too much, so next

(17:00):
time we'll go back to the oldway. But we're going to continue right
now. So my next one isanother just fun pick here from Noted,
who I just think is such anunderrated duo of music producers. This one's
called Nostalgia It Kiss Me and Again, I think they do a really good

(17:26):
job of blending emotional lyrics with justa fun dance song. I love Noted,
dude, they are so underrated tome. They've like found the recipe
for this perfect blend of emotion withthat fun summertime like dance vibe to it.

(17:48):
And I feel like every time theycome out with a song, they've
always found the perfect sounding vocals, which I think is so much harder than
you'd think it was. I watchedthis video on Z making the middle of
the song with Maren Morris, andbefore he ended up getting to Maren Morris's
vocals, he had like seventeen differentvocalists on the song, and none of
them sounded just right, none ofthem had the emotion just right. And

(18:12):
I feel like Noted does every singletime, so easily became one of my
top picks here. And this istalking about someone that you just see them
and you have all these nostalgia thoughtsbecause you're running through all the memories of
them in your head and then itjust drops a banger of a dance track
and I'm like, that's a partydude. No, it's good. So
noted, huge fan of that oneright there. I think we got to

(18:33):
talk about this new release from ArianaGrande with Mariah Carey. Yr Yeah,
Mariah carry on an Ariana Grande remixessick. I wasn't expecting her to have
like a full verse, yeah,me, ned. I thought it was
just gonna be the you know, hidden vocals and you know, also,

(18:56):
is Ariana Grande and Mariah Carey ona song unfair there is ridiculous and they're
on the same songgo love It.Though, Arianna said that she's not gonna
release any more music until this albumbecause she's like kind of making a concept
piece, so she wants you tolisten to the album from top to bottom.
And so instead of releasing new music, we just got this remix with
Mariah Carey. Not mad about it. I also want to put you guys

(19:21):
on this new album from Max Today. Ooh yeah. So it's called Love
in Stereo, which I think iskind of cool. There are a lot
of love songs. He writes alot about his wife. But Love in
Stereo was so creative to me becausewhen you record audio, you have your
left channel on your right channel, but stereo refers to both channels, like
the surround sound of two different speakersin your ears, Like it's two channels

(19:41):
making one sound, which was kindof a cool metaphor for love. And
I sometimes view Max as a collabartist in some ways. I think he's
a master at clabs. He hasa bunch of clabs on his album and
they're all incredible, and I thinkhe's really good at doing things with other
people but himself. Even his sololike original songs on his album are so
good. So he has this oneright here called keep It Chill, And

(20:03):
to me, this immediately felt likeold school, justin Timberlake vibes, like
what wow, Like I love thatreminded me of like like you know that
part of rock your body boomst boombooms to booms boom booms to when we

(20:26):
were in high school. Yeah, music just comes back around. And immediately
I heard this one, I justlike wanted to hear the rest of it.
Like he didn't even say anything andI was in it. He didn't
even say, oh, it justsaid keep it chilling. That that song
is keep it chill to me.He's also got this song called Summer sixteen,

(20:47):
which is a little bit more oflike this one actually is more of
a chill vibe. It was likenot And then I started thinking summer sixteen,
And I don't know if this isthe same for you, but like
that was a peak summer for me. Guess what twenty sixteen. I graduated
and moved out here in the summersummer sixteen about so long ago. Where

(21:11):
is summer sixteen? You know, that's when like the Chainsmokers came out with
Closer. I think, yeah, that's all I think about when driving,
like in my new neighborhood in Yeah. Yeah, what was your summer sixteen?
Like of like summer twenty sixteen whenI was sixteen, twenty sixteen,
come one, lah, oh mygod, what was your summer sixteen?

(21:36):
Like? Do you remember? Itwas summer between my junior and senior year
of college. So what was Idoing summer of sixteen? So summer sixteen
not a peak summer for you.I was living in San Diego. Okay,
Okay, that sounds like Actually sixsummer I was living in San Diego.
I was working like three part timejobs to be able to afford my
apartment. Watched a lot of Gameof Thrones. That's when it was popular.

(22:00):
Yeah, wow, what season werewe on in Game of Thrones?
In summer sixteen, I binge watchedall of it start to finish. I
had never seen any of it.Yeah, I've never seen. That was
this last year for me. Like, I just watched the whole thing all
the way through. It was sogood. It's the best show've ever seen.
Yeah, it was so good.Like, I don't know if you'd
like it though, MICHAELA, you'renoting the gore, are you. It's
not the Latin like surgery is likecutting up in the arms and stuff.

(22:22):
Would you like people like getting theirheads cut off and stuff like that?
I mean I could close my eyes. Yeah, you're fine. Should be
closing your eyes for forty five minutesof the hour. It's very good.
I mean I do like the gladiatorstuff, so it's all, oh,
you'll be over. I hate dragons, like I personally like medieval stuff turns
me off, Like I'm not abig fantasy guy like elves and dragons and

(22:45):
magic like it turns me off.So that's why I didn't watch this show
for the longest time, and thenI just randomly it's the best show of
everything me like the fantasy, LikeI don't like things realistic, so but
so okay, so maybe we'll likeit. But I loved this show dragons,
love them now. I don't reallyhate chose the dragons this one got
to watch Harry Potter. See,I thought we just decided we don't like

(23:06):
magic though, Like that's my problemwith Harry Potter. I like it.
They're good movies, but something aboutmagic just feels lazy to me, Like
it's poor writing, because you couldjust find a spell to do whatever you
want to do in the world. We want to know there's a spell for
that. Billions If people will disagreewith you, no, I know it
millions. I try and get theappeal. It's just like, oh,

(23:29):
someone's dead, you can bring themback to life with a spell. Like
you just write a spell to dowhatever. It's the sacrifice of some sort,
or it's one time and like theymight not be the same or all
these rules are made up, dude. You can make up whatever rules you
want made up. Yeah, andthat's why I hated them, but it
says the guy who like loves superherofilms and too, that's like realistic,

(23:51):
like Spider Man not made up,grow up magic, hate it. I
love rom coms me too, it'snot made up though, that to me
feels very real. I love.I'm just also not a movie watcher.
Really, sometimes it's unrealistic because that'snot real. It's very unrealistic a lot
of them. So it's fine, but it can happen, Yes, it
could happen. Could happen. Ithink that's where I draw the line I

(24:14):
need to. And that's why Ilike superhero stuff because I feel like it
could happen. Yeah, No,getting a bit by a spider and couldn't
happen. It's a radioactive spider aright, John, So I feel like
that makes a die. And likeIron Man is just super smart. He
just made a suit out of hisintelligence. That's so real. But then
when you get into like Guardians ofthe Galaxy stuff, then like that's when

(24:34):
I fall off because it's it's likeblue people and I'm like, anyone listening
to this podcast that's single and there'sa male and can provide me with uh,
you know rom com kind of life, hit me up things, getting
to the podcast to try and finda date. Wow, the reason why

(24:57):
I started. I hate to tellyou, I don't think a lot of
single guys are super interested in musicpodcasts. You know, well they better
get on it. Okay, Iguess we'll find out. Maybe I forgot.
I'm taking out the ox. Wait, I have one to end on.

(25:18):
Okay you guys, mister worldwide.Oh he put on an EP.
Everybody on the dance floor, whatthe hell you waiting for? Everybody?
Please? Okay? My miss waiterinspirational motivational speaker. Love his music.

(25:44):
I really wigh My jaw was onthe floor when I first listened to this
last night. It was like ninepm. I'm laying in bed, I'm
looking through the new music that's comingout. I was like, oh,
Tim mcgro hello, I will saythis about dude, dumb miss no party
every time. I'm ready to rage. I don't care what he's saying.
He could be giving me directions toget to the nearest seven leven. I

(26:06):
am hyped on it, dude, and this album or this EP, I
should say, it's it's like sampleCity, Okay, Like every song has
so Tim McGrath's sample if I likeit, I love it obviously was in
that one. He's got a songwith Dolly Parton or they sample nine to
five. She's in it. Shesings a little bit of it, thank

(26:26):
God, and Jimmy Buffett Rip JimmyBuffett. I think Pitt Pull just walks
around just listening to the world andlike listening to songs like whatever comes on
the radio or at the store, and then he hears the song and he
goes, Okay, but what ifwe wanted to take shots to this song?
Like what if we just yeah, took shots to this song? And
then he makes that version of thesong. You know, the first track
on the EP is there it is, and it's sampling. Whoop there it

(26:49):
is? No, yeah, youguys, it's so wait it it's called
the Daytona five hundred Yeah. Yeah, the track House Daytona five hundred division
because Pitt Bull like co owns aracing team now and that's it track House.
Oh, everything makes so much moresense. I was confused. It's
like this whole movement he's doing, right, I was like, what is

(27:11):
he doing? Affiliated with the NASCAR? But yeah, no, he's got
like a whole racing company and likehe's kind of you, Like he's brought
his music in that direction too,and it's just everything. I just want
to I want to take shots toit. I don't know. Yeah,
that was the silly little last songI had on my my list. No,
I loved it. Just for thesad girls out there. There was
a new release from Lizzie mccalpine WlisiaStronger Somehow. There was a new release

(27:38):
from Dermot Kennedy. She is Love, she is Love, she is Oh,

(27:59):
me so incredibly sons. Yeah. It's called Older and she's talking about essentially
getting older. There's this there wasone line in it that hit me though.
She was I think it's in thesecond verse she thinks about her aging
mother and childhood. She goes,Mom's getting older. I'm wanting it back.
And I was just like, man, that really hit me because the
other day I was talking to mymom on the phone, and obviously you

(28:21):
notice your mom get older through life, but I feel like it wasn't until
this last year that I really sawmy mom. No, I don't say
it as I an older lady, you know, like that that she's that
old, Like she's really not.But I don't know. You see it
now, you know, And I'mlike, now I know that if I
don't pay enough attention, then I'mgonna blink my eye and she's really going
to be an older Well, Ithink as we get older. I mean,
obviously it's the whole premise of asong, but like you know,

(28:45):
I just turned twenty nine. Yeah, you know, my brother's thirty two.
I'm just like, okay, wellwe're getting older. My parents are
too, like they don't stop agingjust because we do. Yeah, like
I'm turning thirty. Yeah, butI remember my mom's thirtieth birthday like it
was yesterday, and I used tothink, like Ben, she was old,
you know, But to give anythingto go back to that time,

(29:07):
you imagine having a kid right now, No, No, at your birthday
party, he had like a whatyear? Yeah? Eight year old.
I was eight when she turned thirty. Yeah, and then I mean I
can seeing her now like compared tothat thirty year old, I mean you
had of her like it must bejust such a difference, Like she wants
to come to Laney and then she'slike, but I can't stand. I'm
like, mom, yeah, youcan't. Like, wait, she's older.

(29:27):
You know she can't stand for liketwo and a half hours. It's
so hard. I know we haveto switch topics. Start crying. Okay,
I gotta take this back out.Oh this is Randy. Do you
guys see him? Thought of anew thought? Sometimes you get a new

(29:49):
thong. It's just very intrusive. So post Malone, did you see him?
He's teasing a song with Luke Comb'sNo, no, I did it,
Yeah, dude, post Malone.Luke Comb's on a new country song.
Okay, what is it with everyonegoing country right now? I mean
that's audio from TikTok, so obviouslynot that clear. But still you think

(30:11):
they're all gonna be at stake.Well, post Malone is already gonna be
at stated that. I don't knowabout Lucomb's isn't. But I don't know
if he'll bring them out. Perhaps, well Postmlone could literally bring it.
Anybody, Yeah, truly you cansays no to post Malone. I feel
like this is the year of country. Yeah, Beyonce coming out with the
country album. Everyone's going country thisyear. It's like the new trend.

(30:32):
Yes, this is this is theyear. Mikayla also goes, I know
this is this is the year thatshe she starts to start country. It's
like I can feel it. Ifwe're ever going to get her, Like
it has to be this, Kayla. Just wait till it becomes Sonny in
seventy five and you're driving down theroad and all you want to do is
put on the post. All wewant to do is put on Laney and
sink pink skuys. All right, that was twenty sixteen for me. Yes,

(30:52):
that's screaming twenty sixteen. Oh mygod. Anyway, short episode today,

it's too late. Like another time, it takes a prep. Yeah,

(31:15):

Oh wow, that's really rude thatyou didn't actually follow the thing that
he didn't follow through because he forgot. Well, I didn't think you had.
Actually, it just shows that we'rea second thought. The thing is,
why wouldn't we be down? Ijust believe there early. Why aren't

(31:36):

I'm not going to bail. Whatare you doing going to noted?
Nope, I'm actually not because Ihave a babysits tomorrow night, because she
has a father then kids. Youknow, I don't understand. We'll find
a new babysitter. Does it canstill go if you know? Okay,
if I text her right now,you can chill. Come only if your
roommate was into her and wanted herto and if they met prior maybe oh

(32:00):
yeah they haven't met. Forgot they'retrying to set your roommate up with my
roommate and neither of them have met. Neither of Yeah, that could be
a barrier. That does seem likea barrier, But you know, like
she's a cool girl, he's acool guy. Blind dates are fun.
I feel like we need to bringthat. Set it up, dude,
I just think the room is uninterested. John just wanted to know it's not
okay. So it's one hundred percenthonest. He doesn't listen to this.

(32:22):
Who cares? He like, John, stop moving in. I'm trying to
get comfortable. I'm trying to getuncomfortable. He's uncomfortable, keeps moving around,
squirming in. I know, I'mcalalling out my roommate right now.
I didn't want to get to thisposition, but like here we are.
I don't know, man, Like, what about your logies come out on
the table here? So he isone of those daters who like wants to

(32:46):
find someone, but like doesn't wantto do all that much work to find
someone. You know, like he'snot on dating right now. You're literally
setting it up, true Strike one. Yeah, you know what you have
to do. You literally know whateverhis name is. I'm not going to
say it on air. Do youare you interested in? Let's call him

(33:07):
girl? Okay, call him Bradfor sake of the conversation, hypothetically hypothetically
speaking his name. This is whatyou Hey, Brad? So I have
a girl like that? I kindof want to say, you up with
you interested? Yeah, she's cuteyou all right, here's her number.

(33:27):
You should text her, invite herout this weekend. We're all going out.
Then after that you say you shouldhave butter to the yoseboy with us.
Yeah okay, that felt like alot though, like inviting someone new
into a group she doesn't really knowthat well for a whole weekend in the
airbnbi yo, skip yosemity, forgetabout it, forget about it now.
Anyway, all you have to dois literally what Mikayla just said. Okay,

(33:50):
and that's it, and then youryour part is done. Done.
The bar is on the floor, folks. Don's making a fancies and this
is why his friends still single intostory. It can't be my fault.
It cannot be my fault. Imade the connection. If he was that
interested, he could have said,Hey, who's the friend that's interested in
me? I want to hit herup right right? You know, I
don't want to force feed him,all right, but if he's lazy,

(34:12):
just be like, dude, youdon't do no work and give the number
like you know, Okay, I'mgoing to give him the number. I'm
giving the number should this weekend andthen an update next week. My work
is done after that. Yeah, that's do what you will. I really
want to girlfriend or anything. Yeah, this is your shot. Catch.

(34:34):
I'm glad we settled this because I'mstarting to feel like my fault. Why,
well, it kind of is.It was. Let's do that.
Another roommate hypothetically named Evan. Hesaid it hypothetical. We're picking just basic
names here, you know, butyes, I completely agree. What was
the question you just asked? Doeshe like concerts? Yes? Is the

(34:58):
answer to that just country though reallyshe hates it. Forget it, you
forget it. It's not gonna work. Everything all right, Like big Zach
Bryan Fann loves country. He alsojust bought a truck, big truck,
big no no for her. Okay, we're moving. We're just kind of
moving. Nothing happened, nothing nowthat we didn't talk about this, and
you do not have to give him. Thing was about whether or not my

(35:21):
roommate wants to and now he's gettingdumped before he even asked the chick,
Yeah, give him the number.I'm telling you now, don't give him
the number because they will end then. No, thank you. Okay,
listen you can't be too picky. You cannot be too picky. You need

(35:43):
to leave. I need to gotaking I know, we know, all
right. I'm sweating Marley's Red.I'm not wearing makeup. John, Okay,
that's not why you're read Jo laughing. But you wouldn't see it if
I was wearing makeup. That's nottrue. Right now, I won't cover
