down with Knox last week. Butfirst let's talk about this week's new music
and first song out today. Let'slet's start with the big releases. Got
to go to our girl. ArianaGrande just came out with a brand new
album, Eternal Sunshine. This isthe next single she's pushing off it called

we Can't Be Friends? Was thisalbum what you were expecting? I actually,
like I heard that it was goingto be a concept album. Yeah,

and I maybe I don't know,like what a concept album is I
didn't really get that from this.Yeah. For example, like the first
concept album that comes to mind withto me was Donna FM from the Weekend.
I don't know if you ever listenedto that one, but I remember
when it first came out, itwas like, and I'm not gonna do
it full justice yere, but it'sessentially like him crossing over into that world

between like right when you die.What's it called purgatory? Sure, between
heaven and hell, And so thatwhole experience of the album was like you

his album is inspired by this JimCarrey movie and Jim Carrey narrates a song

I'm like, oh wait a minute, Well, that that's kind of what
I obviously assumed a concept album wasso when I was listening to it,
I was trying to think of itas like start to finish concept album,

I listened to it a little waythrough too, and I don't think I've
gotten that yet. And granted thisis the first day it's out, so

I do know it's based off thatmovie Eternal Sunshine to the Spotless Mind with
Jim Carrey, which is one ofmy favorite romance movies. I wouldn't say
it's a romp com. It's moreof like a romantic drama. Have you

seen that movie. I haven't seenit in a long time. Yeah,
I've never even heard of that movie. I'm gonna be so honest, if
you watch it, you might know. I'm also not like, let's remember
here, I'm not right that moviewatching them all, So there's you know,
movies, I've probably never see thebasic Rundown Jim Carrey, and I'm
sure the actress is famous, butyep, she's pretty huge. Titanic,

so Kate winslet Jim Carrey fall inlove. They have this relationship that's so
passionate, right, and it endsup not working out. It gets really
ugly and they end terribly. Andso there's this company that will go back
in your mind and wipe memory ifyou want it to. So they go
and they wipe each other's memory sothey don't have to remember the heartbreak and
the bad times. Oh interesting,And then after their memories wiped, they

meet each other again, and sothey start to fall in love. And
then they both find out that theygot each other's memory wiped, and so
now they're posed with the question.They know they don't work out, but
right now they're starting to fall andso they have this question of do we
continue with this relationship knowing damn wellit's going to fail someday, or do
we just count our losses here becauseit must have been so bad and I
don't want to go through that again. Okay, that adds so much more

is her going in and getting hermemory wiped and actually maybe be so sad

you an interesting line, because ofcourse everyone thinks that every relationship is your

you're causually dating? But how manytimes are you wrong about relationships? And

And then also like wait, maybeI'm not, but like so,
I mean, I guess in thesense of now knowing that it's based off
of that movie, yeah, andthen thinking back to like the concept piece
of it, I guess it doesmake more sense. It's like my favorite
thought to think about too, becauseI just think about the times were like
I wanted to die, I washurting so bad. But like, would

I go back and change it?I don't think I ever would, because
sometimes I think it's better to goin and feel things than to not feel

this album, yes, and itkind of fell out a place to me

I thought it was more mellow andit felt like she was more trying
to say things rather than just putout pop bangers. You know. Yeah,
it's interesting. There was one partof the song too, because I

I have to say. I knowI gotta sit with the album more
to like let it sing a greatso listen to a few, but this
one I kept going back to becauseI was like, Wow, it's really
good. I know it's the oneshe's pushing, but it was the one
I liked the most so far,at least off my first listen. I
agree. So moving on another albumthat I loved. Guys, truly,

I am a Bleachers fan. Nowwe have to go see them one they're
in LA. We have to like. I like Ariana Grande, Don't get
me wrong, I like her music, but like Bleachers. I'm signing up
for the pre sale code. I'mthere, Like, I'm so into this
new album, self titled Bleachers.There is so much in this album that
feels so dreamy and classic and romantic. It almost feels like I'm watching an

old movie. And we've talked aboutlike the influence of the saxophone on this
album. Yeah, So the veryfirst song is called I Am Right on
Time, and it takes a whileto slowly build with the drums and the
guitar kind of coming in. Itgave me almost you two vibes as it's
like warming you into this album.We were just kidding like do you kind

of hear whether without you? It'sjust a slow build up of a song,
and it just gave me that withor without you vibe. And then
the second track of the album bringsin the saxophone and it just takes you
to this throwback song with modern girllike I feel like we're in a diner

yea, kicking our legs just likeold ties. It just feels so wholesome
to me, and it's so classicand it feels so I don't know if
this is the right way to phraseit, but they feel so together,
like they're recording it together in aroom rather than like in pieces. I
completely know what you mean. Likeit's like if you walked into a recording
studio and it's like, you haveyou know so and so in the back

doing drums and this person over hereplaying the saxophone, and then you have
you know, Jack Antonov over heresaying like it feels like they're just recording
like what they would sound live.It feels like a live recording. I'm
with you one hundred percent, likeit doesn't sound like a studio recording.
And even through it, and again, this is one of those albums that
is going to take some time tosit through so and his lyrics. Jack
antonof like he is very intricate withsome of these lyrics. I'm gonna have

to sit with them to really understandwhat they mean. So I'm kind of
just going off the album sonically rightnow, at least for the most part.
But even some of the slower songsjust feel like they could break out
at any time in a party.Like this song is called call Me After

Midnight, and he's talking about howyou only call after midnight, right,
So it's kind of a breakup song, but he's still got a little vibe
to it. The drum kit kicksin, he still got some sacks in
there, and the whole album justfelt so unique to me. So I
also really liked Self Respect, Ithink, and I think they played that

Midnight one at the album release,did they sure? I know they played
Hey Joe at the album I LoveJoe, Yeah, John Joe. I
know. I was like listening toit this morning and I was like,
I am in love with this album. Where's bleacher's been my whole life?

online, but then also was immediatelyput in front of fourteen thousand real people.

I only had one song out.So I did those shows and was
like, Hey, I'm Knox,Like you don't know this one song?

I don't have any music out exceptfor one. And I was like,

And so I and so not onlywas I making this impression on the
