Speaker 1 (00:00):
Here's your host, Alex Garrett. So after tonight's shock moment
where President Trump announces that we have indeed disarmed and
attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities, I started looking back on
(00:22):
all the commentary over the last ten years I've been
posting about this problem of Iran having nuclear weapons. I
even try to scan some of the podcasts I did
on this. But here's my main message was, I'll reiterate
from twenty nineteen, and I actually edited a little bit
(00:47):
for what happened tonight. I don't want to go to
war with Iran. I also want to don't want to
be sitting idly by. Just be smart, USA. We got this,
And that is my message tonight to President Donald Trump.
Just be smart. I don't want to said idly buy
(01:09):
as we know that Iran has continued to build its
weaponry and its nuclear powers. I wrote back in twenty
eighteen that, and this was back in Trump's administration. We
(01:30):
aren't getting out of the Iran deal anytime soon. Maybe
God himself is trying to stop the Iranian regime. When
an earthquake struck near an Iranian nuclear plant, and then
the four hundred billion dollars in cash that they said
was not a rans. Remember I talked about that in
(01:50):
twenty sixteen as hostages were released. I mean, all the
stuff I've been talking about with Iran, it just feels
like it's come to a head. And here's what I
(02:12):
think happened. Okay, Trump obviously knew sixty day marker was
coming closer and closer. We know he did not want
to do this for as long as he could, because
A I don't think he wanted. I mean a week
(02:35):
ago he said there was possible involvement that he said
he didn't want to talk about it at the G
seven summit. I played you that cut, and then yesterday
he said, well, there are plays, but we'll see what happens. Basically,
he didn't really say this was happening anytime soon. But
I think the timeline here is this, and I could
(02:56):
be wrong, is that he won't have one leg up
over Iran after the sixty day window had clocked out.
He wanted to then when he saw Israel was going
(03:19):
to attack. Obviously they knew what was going to happen,
and they gave support to the retaliation. Iran would of
course do once Israel struck them. But even Israel I
think had intel. Look ideafs very sophisticated, and they probably
(03:41):
had intel which led them to bomb the f out
of Iran. And a few days ago, you know, Trump
said out the evacuation of Tyrane. There were other evacuations
going on this week. I think it was in preparation
for something like this. But for years we've been trying
(04:06):
to not let them build up their weaponry. And we
I mean those who are sort of on the common
sense side, because honestly, the Aboma MINUTRITIONI didn't really stop
them from building. That deal did nothing to stop it,
(04:30):
did it. I don't think it did. But for us
take action tonight, he just didn't do it whimsically and
out of the blue. There had to be a reason.
And I think the clock out, you know, the clock
(04:51):
running out, the impatience of Iran not coming to the
table meant they were hiding more stuff, more plans, more building.
You were never gonna get Iran out of building nuclear webinary.
That's just not something you would do. And you can't
(05:14):
do that. They won't let it happen. So and we're
gonna have an ice recap of fanatics best once this
Day three is completed, but boy, we were at the
(05:34):
Tops Trading day, hanging out there and watching Jane Daniels
and Michael Rubin take the stage with Tops, and all
of a sudden, we're on the train home and we
get this alert. Oh. President Trump announces three Iranian nuclear
sites have been disarmed, dismantled, destroyed. And while I want
(05:58):
to feel this win as someone who's been advocating for
the disarmament, I'm already nuclear weapons. I say, be smart,
don't let this escalate to where troops are deployed on
the ground in Iran. We don't want this to be
a WMD moment. I think it's irresponsible that the time
(06:25):
says now as a war with Iran because we're not
there yet. But if you saw earlier in the day
the news that B two bombers were flying over to
over Iran, you knew something was happening. You knew this
(06:45):
was going to be a mission. And of all the
forty seven, and I'm including Trump forty five here, presidents,
this Trump forty seven did something not even Trump forty
five did. Yeah, we did airstrikes against these people, these
(07:10):
terrorists and those terrorists, but this wasn't what we did
in twenty in the first Trump term. This is different.
This is a Trump that's run out of patience trying
to get a deal done with Iran. But he has
(07:34):
to be smart and we should not have troops being
deployed over this. That's where we wouldn't thrive our country.
(08:01):
It's just too messy and too chaoic for this kind
of situation. To make it a war situation, it has
to be that we bomb their nuclear facilities. Yes, we
disarmed them, and rightfully so, three different sites, and that's
where it should stop. But to call for an impeachment AOC.
(08:25):
Do you want Iran to be strong? Do you want
them to have a leg up over us? I mean
impeaching the president of No. He did what he thought
was right, and I thought of all the people that
have commented tonight, Congressman Swazi said it right. He said
(08:51):
tonight in a statement online, I ran as a terrorist
niche and we must do everything we can to stop
it from acquiring a new clear weapons. Debates will now
ensue about presidential authority in the president working with Congress.
The president should work with Congress, especially those of us
who recognize how important it is to finally stop Iran.
(09:14):
But you wonder what intel Trump had if it was
beyond just the clock running out. Maybe they didn't make
a deal for a reason. And before finding out what
that reason was, we disarmed the I almost had the bastards,
but we disarmed the bastards. That's what we do. We
(09:35):
don't find out why they're not coming to the table.
We eliminate any kind of plans they might have in place.
We don't go by. And I talked about this a
long time ago, i AA inspections and all that. Now
we go by what the right thing to do is.
(10:02):
And then my nervous about retaliation. I think we all are.
I think we all are. But tonight we want to
have truly one leg up over Iran. We have to
(10:23):
be smart United States of America, and those smarts well
out smart this Iranian regime that does oppress its people,
by the way, and does chance death to America, by
(10:47):
the way. And you want to be on that side.
You want to say Trump's actions they are impeachable, when
he might have just saved it if you watched the imagery,
It's like he watched Oppenheimer and said, I've seen enough.
(11:08):
We're doing this. Now do Iran. It looks like the
a bomb exploded, atomic bomb exploded against these nuclear plants.
It's that powerful and imagery. And though Oppenheimer ran to
(11:31):
his own issues, as the movie brilliantly shows, and though
he wasn't really given the credit because Truman was given
the credit for dropping the atomic bomb, that moment in
(11:57):
forty five looked exactly like it does in twenty five.
(12:18):
And we're nearing that anniversary of eighty years since the
atomic bomb, and eighty years later, this situation could be
(12:45):
like a monumental moment like the atomic bomb was that
changed the world, that saved the world. And I'm wary
to say that because people will find this move tonight
(13:10):
very controversial that we're involved with this, But if you
look at the timing, he gave them sixty days to
get negotiate it. He was willing to negotiate a deal,
(13:30):
and they wouldn't come to the tape, so we took
it upon himself and congressional authority aside. He works with
instinct and impulse, and if he feels there's a moment
to be had where we can subdue them, the Iranian regime,
(13:56):
he was going to take it, and I want to
believe tonight did save the world as many have been saying,
but let's just be smart and not totally get involved,
(14:18):
because that is the last thing this country needs. To
be smart that'll help us have one leg up over
I ran. So once again, be smart USA,
