Speaker 1 (00:02):
Here's your host, Alex Garrett.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
All right, well, here on one, I got Alex news.
I really haven't told you the news because I'm sure
you've heard already, but a deal has been struck to
where Israel will and thankfully so get the hostages back.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
We don't know what condition they're going to be in,
but that's a prayerful.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Moment with this overhanging idea of the ceasefire at the
same time and withdrawal of troops from Gaza. And I
pray that tomorrow and this week is a non bloody,
pieceful week and that this deal is abided to by Hamas.

(01:00):
That's my big prayer, and no trickery is done, no
more evil is done because.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
We can't.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
We can't see another October seventh, as Israel's trying to
get their hostages back, we cannot see that. And really,
as the Jewish people are getting the hostages back, as
a collective here in America as well, people are watching
this with baited breath.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
And tomorrow President Trump scheduled to address the Kanesset in
Israel and then at ten minut least pay ceremony in Egypt.
Following a potential deal.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Between Israel, and Amas to end the war in Gaza
the peace ceremony two thirty preem Local time in show
arm Elshe praying for those moments that they actually happen,
that they actually do bring peace here and getting the
hostages home. That's really what it is now. The other

(02:15):
thing about this whole last couple of weeks, which I
haven't even talked about, is we're now ten, well twelve
days into a government shutdown, which bothers the hell out
of me.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
How do we let the government stay shut down for
twelve days?

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Why aren't either side's budget And maybe they are, they're
just not agreeing.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
To it, but twelve days is insane.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
We see Lawler and Jeffries get into it in the
halls of Congress. Something's got to give here, Something's got
to give, because I don't.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Want to stand here a week from.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Now and say, oh, nineteen days of a shutdown.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
That would not be good.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
It's not what we certainly went to Washington, DC for,
is to advocate for a shutdown.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
That's not what we We wanted.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Funding for the proper groups that needed it, but never
a shutdown.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
This is awful.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
And I see that the federal government has been laying
off workers under the cover of all.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
This, it's just a mess.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
And I get the Dems wanting leg so they say,
want illegals to have healthcare, and I do believe Americans
shouldn't be prioritized over that, for sure, But come to
the table, twelve days of government shutdown, and to those
that are donating their salaries or whatever, good on them.
It's very rare to see congress people do that. But

(03:43):
this has to stop. And it's interesting because I went
on here on October seven, the navicated for a piece deal.
A day later it happened. I'm gonna advocate for a
deal and the shutdown now because the twelve days cannot
go on. The firing and furloughing of government workers who
do contribute to society should not be happening. It should

(04:07):
not be happening, especially under the guys in cover of this,
it feels like.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
But then there's this other story which really.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Got me going last week. Remember when Israel baum Qatar
and there was a big uproar over wide. They do
this Qatar is an ally blah blah blah blah. Well
this story is very very odd to me. I found

(04:38):
out the other day the Pentagon is building a training
facility for Katari pilots in Idaho. The US military is
moving forward with plans to build a dedicated facility in
Idaho to train pilots from Qatar. Pete Eggs had announced
this past Friday. So the facility has to be built

(05:01):
at the Mountain Home Air Force Base and hosts of
a contingent of Katari F fifteens and pilots to enhance
our combat training, increasing lethality and interi probability. According to
Headline USA, the arrangement is not unusual. Pentagon officials noted
that similar facilities have been set up for other allies

(05:22):
for decades, and the Idaho base already hosts.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
A fire squadron from Singapore.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Qatar already hosts and I didn't know this the biggest
US military base in the military in the Middle East,
making it clear that it will not have a base
on US soil and that will cover the costs of
building the training.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Facility and.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Embassy in Washington's as it's not going to be a
Qatari air base rather, Quitar has made an initial ten
year commitment to construct and maintain a dedicated facility within
an existing air base intended for advanced training and to enforce.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Into a probability.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
And advancing our shared interests around the world. The statement
said the project will create hundreds of jobs for Americans
and noted the planning began several years ago and.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Received local approval.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
This is interesting that the announcement came days after Trump
signed an executive order allowed Value to use all measures,
including military action military to defend Qatar.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
I mean, and this also came about two days after
the peace agreement. So you have to wonder what Qatar
is doing here.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Remember they're the one that gave a four million dollar,
four hundred million dollar jet on Trump for use on
Air Force One.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
And other things. They also played a key role.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
In negotiating the most recent cease fire. So what are
we doing hosting Katari airplanets? All this say is I
hope it doesn't backfireus.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
That's really the point here.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
They may say we're an ally to Qatar and Israel
shouldn't bomb Guitar, but Israel's defense knows what it's doing,
and for Trump to rebuke that and then make a
deal with Guitar scares the living hell out of me,
and it should for you. Two An Air Force base

(07:52):
for Qatar. It doesn't make sense. I'm post in the
description above because how it is announcement made just two days,
two days after that peace deal which they negotiated, we
find out, and so I wouldn't trust it as far

(08:16):
as I throw them. So I wouldn't trust Qatar as
far as I could throw them. And I don't think
this arrangement is going to be good. In a loane,
I pray that no funny business there either in Idaho.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
But it's it raised an alarm.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
And I mentioned twelve days like the twelve days of Christmas,
twelve days of a shutdown. How about the fact Jay
Jones who in a text exchange called for the killing
of a fellow Virginia legislator.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
And that legislator's name is and by the way, he J.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Jones is the Attorney general candidate Robot wrote that a
Regelican condate colleague about bulletin for the House Speaker told
Todd Gilbert, Okay, he's calling for the Virginia House Speaker's
assassination and he's still running for office. He's supposed to

(09:31):
be the attorney general. How have no Democrats, even Tim
Canaan Virginia said anything other than.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Well, it's bad he did it, but he's joining for off.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
It's like, how can you not take it further and
ask him and demand actually that he dropped out of
the race. So here on one, look up, Alex, I'm
taking up that arm too and saying drop out of
the race.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
Jay Jones.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Twelve days of a government shutdown, about eight nine days
of J Jones still being in the race, after.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
Those vile text messages come to light, you gotta drop out.
You have to drop out.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
You cannot be attorney general and taken serious with that mindset,
with that vicious killer mindset. And for all those in
the party that have really not con that I'm not
taking it further than condemnation but actually demanded, shame on you.

(10:33):
You want someone with those evil thoughts running the Virginia
Justice Department as Attorney general. Shame on those who have
not called for him to drop out. Totabs are shut down,
nine days of J Jones still in the race. Something's

(10:55):
got to come to a head, and soon and soon,
because we want to have one leg up for Virginia.
We won't have one leg up for our government workers
that do contribute and are suffering through this government shutdown.
And for those who need the funding, I mean there
are Medicaid recipients, there are Social Security recipients at risk.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Here. Health care does matter.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
And the irony of forcing healthcare to illegals is actually
hurting health care for Americans. Let me say that again,
the Democrats forcing health care for illegals is hurting actual
Americans who elected them, who elected them to office thinking
they be helping the dixabled community and other communities. So

(11:47):
by forcing this and trying to force it down our throats,
you're in essence hurting the Americans that voted you in there.
And that is grotesque, that is abusive office, that is
beyond the pale. And that's not how you have one
leg up for your constituents. Because you see the irony, right,

(12:07):
you're trying to push health care for illegal immigrants, but
you're not taking the consideration you're hurting Americans who need
those health benefits.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
So you're clearly choosing a side.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
Here and you're not going the American way.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
And that's why we're shut.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Down right now, not having a good time having one
leg up for Americans.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
In America. But we have to we have to if
we want to move forward in twenty twenty five
