Speaker 1 (00:05):
Here's your host, Alex dear about you know, it's Sling
TV Sunday and tonight. A lot of action to break
down for you as Alan makes history, the Broncos making

(00:30):
Champagne look like Coach of the Year, and my Dad's
Bears on Sunday breaking through once again and today with
the loss uh By, the Rams are now the number
one seed. But where do we start in the NFC?
Right now? But where do we start? Let's start with

(00:51):
in a season dominated by Drake May and New England,
this guy, this guy here to remind everybody what.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Josh Allen third and goal from the eighth, looking aside,
Allen Allen, Allen be pushed and he's dripping across for
the touchdown, and for the forty ninths time in his
career he has a game in which he's thrown for
a score and.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Run for a score.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Now belongs to number seventeen.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
And that record the number of rushing touchdowns as Alan
breaks Cam Newton's record with seventy six. Interestingly enough, the
record breaking Jem Nintz there on CBS talking about CB
talking about the forty ninth game He's thrown and rushed
for a touchdown. Well, you won't believe this, but earlier

(01:47):
in the game, Alan made history, passing Brett Favre for
the fifth most past touchdowns by a player in their
first eight career seasons with this strike to Keon Coleman.

(02:10):
And there you go, Keon Coleman getting that reception in
the end zone for Alan's record breaking throwing touchdown. And
I still believe though Drake Mays had an incredible season,
let's not sugarcoat it up in New England, I still
believe Alan's performance this year and record breaking is going

(02:31):
to get him the MVP. And it's a funny year
for him because they've had some weird losses. I mean, Miami,
what the hell was that? What the hell was that?
Here on Sling TV Sunday. But they needed this win.
They got it against Rogers and the Steelers, and they're

(02:52):
still pretty much in great position to get in the postseason,
especially as teams like the Chiefs continue to lose. Now,
I've been high on the Harball Herbert mixed if you've
seen on my social media, I like the Harbaugh cosplay. Unfortunately,
Herbert now has a hand injury which will cry of surgery,

(03:14):
so he's done, and that's unfortunate because I thought they
could win the AFC West until until tonight. I think
since the Coach of the Year award for Sean.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
For two and the win Washington, Washington for the Winkers.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Roll, and that to me, and I thought maybe the
game against the Giants, which you know, they scored thirty
three points in the fourth quarter, which was still inexplicable,
and I don't know how shame Bone kept his job
after that, but I thought that game was going to
be a statement. I think tonight was a statement because
of his nine in row, and I think Sean Payton

(04:09):
and bow Knicks have something gelling going on at Miley Stadium. Olho.
This was in DC, but you get my point, and
I think you're looking at coach of the year right there,
of all the coaches across the league, he's the guy.
Sean Payton has taken this team who's had their struggles

(04:31):
and now become a playoff caliber, almost conference leading team
led by bow Nicks. I love it. I don't understand
what's going on in DC. I know that Jaydon Daniels
is out. I think that's a big reason why they've
lost what eight or nine in a row. But I'm
on the other side. Sean Payton, a man who really

(04:52):
was excommunicated for a while after that bounty Gate scandal,
and I thought when he came back to coaching in
general was a big deal. Well, now he's got a
great team and he's molding and he's leading into battle
every week. And so I think tonight since the coach

(05:12):
of the year. Now I know the Jets won today, woohoo,
doesn't really matter. I guess like the Giants want to
play for pride. You want to win as many games
out as you can. If you're Mike Kaka, you want
to show up tomorrow night against New England. You're basically
auditioning if you're Mike Kofka for that Giant job. Are
you not? Are you not? So we'll see what happens.

(05:36):
But the fact that the Broncos look this good, the
fact that the Bears are in the number one seed
in the NFC, it's almost like a topsy turvy world.
And speaking of the Bears, and you know, on my
dad's Bears side, who are the number one seed now?

(05:59):
Right now? Thanks to today's debacle of three interceptions by
Stafford and an interests and turnovers at the hands of
the Panthers, who I think are a dark horse in
this NFC by the way, I mean, have you seen
all the way they've been They've been winning these games.
But anyway, the Bears, the Bears have had a lineage

(06:24):
of running backs that I can remember, dating back to
the Thomas Jones era, and of course the Montgomery and
Montgomery went over to the Lions and the Devin Hester
as well. Forget that guy. But now now it seems
there's a new sheriff in town buying Caleb Williams in

(06:47):
the I formation.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
He's manana it. He goes to the touchdown. They can't
stop us. Good black by Jonah checks in the right guy.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Then they're gonna say, hey, we'll give you up some
underneath throws.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
We're gonna make you execute for eleven or twelve plays
and see if you can finish in the red zone.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
And I mean, they beat the Eagles at home on
Black Friday. And I'll tell you what, Ben Johnson doing
the shirt list thing. It's a different energy. It is
not the Laflor disaster that we've seen time and time again.
It is a different energy. And finally, Caleb isn't a

(07:30):
positive system for himself. What these quarterbacks and Daniel Jones
rough loss today against the Texans after blowing last week's
game against the Chiefs. But what these guys are showing
is it's about the system they're in. And I would
say Caleb isn't a better system. Caleb Williams and a

(07:51):
better system for himself. And my dad's Chicago Bears are
I think nine to three and at the top of
the NFC for the first seed. I know my dad's
got to be hecky with that. He's got to be
over the moon about that while looking down here and

(08:13):
watching his team excel, I think beyond any imagination from
when they first hired Ben Johnson. So yeah, I think
I think that team can stay in first. I think

(08:35):
Caleb's in a better system and they finally have a defense.
They finally have pieces to stop the other side and
to win games. I mean, you've seen it your weekend
and week out. It's been fun to watch, roller coaster
at times, but fun to watch on NFL Red Zone

(08:56):
and the like. I can't carry pick every game here
on Slinging TV Sunday, but those three stood out to me.
The Josh Allen game where he makes history and gets
the Bills a much need to win against the Steelers,
the Denver Broncos showing why Sean Payton should be coach

(09:18):
of the year, could be coach of the year. And
then my Dad's Bears. I mean, yeah, I'm a little
biased because it's my dad, but it's the Bears and
they finally look good under a new coach, a new system,

(09:40):
and I can't wait to wait, wait to see how
the rest of these weeks unfold. We are into December.
This is where the crunch time happens. Yeah, the weeks
are lessening and the shot whatever follow trains are listening.
But this is where the intrigue begins. This is where
the even begins, and we see how it all shakes

(10:04):
out in the NFL twenty twenty five twenty six season,
and we'll have it for you here on one look
up Alex Sports, and if I get motivated to do it,
we'll do more Sling TV Sundays the rest of the way,
because every week's gonna matter more and more as we
hit Dare I say twenty twenty six? Dare I say Christmas?

(10:29):
Dare I say Hanika twenty twenty five, where you are
in full swing here in the holidays, and that just
means exciting football is along the way and we'll cover
everything for you here on the Walling Up Network on
