Speaker 1 (00:00):
There is no bells and whistles today because I have
a more serious feeling. You're on the one like a
Blex network, and you know, normally I'm very upbeat and
spirited and all that, but I have more of a
thoughtful prayer today for the victims of October seventh, their families,

(00:23):
and also for the soulas that the soulas who are
indifferent to what October seventh means, or don't care, or
even as some people say, celebrate what happened October seventh,
they are soulless people. The people you'll see today marching
up sixth Avenue saying free Gaza on a day when

(00:44):
Hamas initiated terror attack in Israel are soulless. They are
just lost, soulless human beings. Well, Alex, how can you
say that they're protesting when happened in in Pallas. I
understand that too, We understand that too. But today's a

(01:07):
day where people find their soul and understand that October
seventh happened and that terror attach happened. Because if we
don't get our heads around that or don't acknowledge it,
more bloodshed will happen against Israelis, which I guess in

(01:31):
terms would mean the other way too. But this is
not a day to say anti Semitic things when the
Jewish community is hurting. It's a day to find our
souls collectively. And I see Colombia is trying to write

(01:55):
so Columbia last year ten city home to a lot
of the free power, but then now to save face,
and I'd be like, that's nothing more than that they
are honoring the victims of October seventh on their quad today.

(02:16):
Is that finding their soul or a photo opportunity. I
am so skeptical when it comes to this issue. I
don't believe in finding some solace there because of what
happened and what Columbia let itself become just feels like

(02:37):
a photo op, nothing genuine about it. So I want
to pray that the forty eight hostages that have now
been used as political football instead of human beings be
released once and for all. I pray that their fail

(03:00):
families get answers, get their fair, their loved ones back.
I pray that there's wounds that centuries long between Israel
and Palestine get healed at some point, and that those

(03:22):
who choose to partake in today's protests, yelling anti Semitic
tropes find their soul. I've often said, and it was
in Biber doctor Joe Grossi. I've often said that there

(03:45):
needs to be a Paul amidst this Free Palistine movement
that says no, that that is like Saul, but then
becomes Paul in the movement and says no, this is
not right. It has to end. All these slurs, all
these targeting of Jewish people have to end. But I

(04:07):
think it's a little cathartic for me to do this
podcast and vent about how, yeah I am angry. I
think if you have a soul, you're angry today that
this happened two years ago. I walked into the radio
station two years ago and saw the terror attack happen,

(04:30):
and of course one of my first thoughts was how's
my cousin doing in Israel? Then how ISRAELI is doing?

(04:51):
And now two years later, the feeling is so profound.
I I think seeing unfortunately that free Gaza protest fired
me up to say this is wrong, This is soulless.
And there are people who may think they have a

(05:16):
soul for saying free Palestine, but really what they're advocating
for is a targeting of Jewish people, and I'm not
afraid to say that here and publish this here. You
can easily sympathize with the Israelis and the Palestines for
what both sides have gone through in this war. But

(05:40):
when you shoot two embassy staffers and yell free Palestine,
Israeli embassy staffers and the Jewish ambassadors to embassy staffers
by the way, and yell free Palestine, it's no longer
just free Palatine. It's a way to sort of avenge

(06:01):
by killing other Jewish people and targeting innocent Jews. We
have had nothing to do with the State of Israel's
uh actions. When this whole thing really heated up and
the rhetoric and the protests heated up, there were stories

(06:24):
of how these really anarchists would scream in the face
of an innocent Jewish person just standing there. And my
conviction today is we must pray October seventh, twenty twenty
five for the victims their families, and then also pray

(06:49):
for the soulless who think today doesn't matter or glad
it happened. They must be prayed for that they see
the light that they go from Saul to Paul before
it's too late for them, and that they help heal

(07:10):
the wound, not exacerbate the wold. And for those forty
eight hostage still not released, let's stop playing political football
and get them back into the world for the good

(07:31):
of humanity, for the good of this war, and really
for the good of Jews around the world that are
so nervous and upset and angered by this. And may

(07:55):
our voices be louder and demanding the release. I think
the whole irony to me is that the injustice on
October something was committed against the Jews. It They've been
the peaceful ones trying to quietly advocate, and I mean

(08:20):
there have been rallies, there have been different things, but
it's been peaceful, whereas the other side is forceful. Maybe
we match, not n not in a violent way, but
match that forcefulness and demanding the release of these hostages
once and for all, beyond press conferences and rallies, but

(08:52):
just be vocal and demand the release today the two
year anniversary. That's how we have one leg up on
this war, on this wound, on this horrible day, and
no matter what Israel has done in the aftermath, May

(09:12):
we finally acknowledge as a society that October seventh terror
attacks happened against Israel, Because if we acknowledge that, we
may never forget it, and once we never forget, we
take steps for it doesn't happen again. And that's how
we have one leg up.
