Welcome to another edition of a Taco Cafe again. I'm
Ethan co Ceo barely not by much. And joining me
is Chris, who we've now promoted instead of the guy
who what is this guy who moved mugus, I will
talk about that.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Told me to like say that all throughout the street,
but I was like, I'll just leave it there. So
it's a constant reminder. That's that's that's more effective.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Jesus fuck who we've not promoted to fucking head manager
of the Otaco Cafe in my absence since he's always
taken care of ship that I'm forgetting or not being
able to do. So we've got a loaded show for
you guys. We are going to talk about our normal
stuff like we have been throughout the season, and we're

(02:49):
gonna kick it off like we normally do with some
news and notes. Shouldn't be that much news and notes,
but we do have something quite fun, not really at
the end of the news and notes section, Uh'll start
off news and notes. Novel Tory Sukare Otoko receives a
movie for Fall twenty twenty five looks like this is

(03:11):
a This is the synopsis. Giuseppe is a young man
who tends to get completely absorbed in whatever catches his interest.
Because of this, the townspeople call him Tossi kia otaku
otoku sorry, my bad. One day, he falls in love
at first sight with a girl named Pechka who sells
balloons but seems to carry quiet sadness waiting for her

(03:33):
to help. Giuseppe and his mouse companion Cilio Silo start
using the skills he's picked up over the years to
secretly solve the problems winging on her hearts. This looks
fucking adorable. This sounds like something I might watch. Looks
like this musical anime. Oh, it's a musical anime movie.
We'll open in theaters in Japan and fall twenty twenty five.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Hope is that Chris, I haven't heard of it before.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
This looks kawaii as fucked though. Can't even hold you,
can't even hold you. And that's it really for the
news over the last week or so, there's not a
hell of a lot of news. There is one piece
that will go over the not so fun but kind
of fun part, and that is Crunchy Rolls Anime Awards,
the the the abomination. As far as we're concerned, of

(04:25):
the country, people need to get bullied more.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
I'm telling you, I've been saying this for a while.
People need to get bullied again. How many how many
awards is Solo Leveling win?

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Let's go over them. We'll start off with the main one.
It's just Anime of the year. That one Solo Leveling
season one. Keep in mind Solo Loving season one beat
Don to Don at number two, Delicious and Dungeon at
number three, free And at four and Kaiju at number five.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Wait wait, that was just season one.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Never mind, This isn't the placement I thought I lied. Yeah, No,
Sol Lovely and it was just season one. Wasn't even
season two.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Twenty twenty four winner of Okay got it? Man?

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Yeah? Chris's reaction says it all, folks.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Man, I think I've been already again.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Oh my god, looking Back film of the Year, which
I'm super thrilled about. Look Back was the Film of
the Year for twenty twenty five Anime Awards. You saw
a look Back, Chris?

Speaker 1 (05:26):
No, I did not.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Oh you need to. It's so fucking good.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Well it's on it's on Amazon Prime, so I'll be
able to watch it there.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Yeah, dude, watch it. It's short, it's forty five minutes.
It's not a happy ending like most animes and most movies,
it is a pretty shit like sad ending so but
it was really impressionable, really happy, really happy that this
choice won ahead of my hero i Q Spy Family,
The Colors Within I had heard about but didn't see anything.

(05:57):
And then when I look about that, the Colors Within, Yeah, it's.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Not that great.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
I love that. It's not that great. All right. Global
Impact Award went to Attack On Titan for the final season.
Congrats to them. Nothing to say negative about that. Really,
Best continuing series was Demon Slayer season three four, season four.
I guess Best New Anime solo leveling Best Original Anime.

(06:30):

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Ninja Kamede won the eight ConTroll Award for Best Original
Anime over Butcher, Gary, Girls Band, Cry, Jellyfish.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Wait, Hold On, Hold On, Ninja KHAMI wasn't even on.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
And it beat Girls Band, Cry, Jellyfish, Butcha Gary Metallic,
which I thought it was better than, and Trained to
the End of the World. Chris is gonna sign off
now that I.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Said that, I'm glad.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
I'm no, no, I'm gonna say something controversial but so true.
I'm glad Texas is batting life underage anime from being streamed.
That means that Crunchy Rold is gonna have to ship
move uh move out of Texas.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Fuck then it's fucking wild, right. Continuing on, Best Animation,
Demon Slayer not bad, that's cool.

Speaker 4 (07:33):

Speaker 3 (07:34):
Best characters Dying was Don to Don, so that's cool cool.
Best director was k Chirosato for Psycho Sorry for Free
and so that's good. Best background art free in. Best
Romance was Blue Box, which I was really thrilled with,
really thrilled with that. Uh this beats Scott Pilgrim, which

(07:55):
everyone says is not an anime, but it was nominated
in the Anime Awards, so go ahead and fuck yourself.
Rama one half too Many Losing Heroins, a Sign of Affection,
and Dangers in My Heart season two, so some strong contender.
It's not gonna lie so blue Box one, that's cool.
Best Comedy Marshall season two, So that's fantastic. Uh what else?

(08:19):
Best action solo leveling best is sa Kaira zero. Best

Yuki for Malmo Best Anime Voice Artist Performance, and well,
we don't have to worry about Arabic, Brazilian, Catalanian, Spanish,

(10:35):
we'll go with dub. We'll go with English dub. Alex
Lee as Sung jin Wu is the winner for the
DUB for Best Dub Voice Actress this year.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
I can agree with that, especially seeing his good outtakes
for the arise line.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
I haven't seen that that'll be funny. And then the
rest of them are just the different ones for Catalanian, Latin, Spanish, Portuguese.
I'm an Italian, Arabic and French. Congratulations to all of
them and all of the award winners. And Chris's thoughts
echoed many of my sentiments as well. So a last

(11:14):
here we are okay. With that said, let's go ahead
and get into solos. I have far less solos than
what I normally would have thanks to Chris. Uh not
or sorry is watching the majority of my stuff, so
I love that. For me, I have not lost my
solos here. They are okay, cool, okay. Normally I would

(11:36):
cover the following three with Matt, but he's not here,
so we're gonna cover them first. We'll go with Zatsu Tabi.
Zasu Tabi not a lot really in this episode. This week,
I would say, the girls make it off the night
train and we see what's her face? Whose name I'm
forgetting because she's that memorable. Where the fuck is Zatsu Tabi?

(11:58):
Here we go? Uh, Chica doesn't get motion sickness, so
that's fantastic. And basically they just do their typical thing.
You know, they go around Hiroshima. You see them have
different bentos, have different moments. You see Sempi and Kohai,
you see fou Yuenee and Yui. They basically get, they get,

(12:20):
they form a tighter bond, they get closer, and that's
all nice and lovely and basically that's about it for
the most part. As you know, Zatsu's hobby is really
just the Japanese tourism infomercial. That's all the anime is.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
So why I dropped it. It was really boring.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
It's there, it's there.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
I just can't sit there like twenty minutes at a time.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
Well, I mean, I'm not It's not like I'm like, clearly,
the way you hear, the way I'm describing this, I'm
not like, oh my god, I'm so intently like observant. Yeah,
you know, But I mean I don't mind it because
in my spare time I watched the Japanese travel videos
on YouTube, so it fits the bill from that perspective,
especially since of how accurate they are for the most part,
So it works. Anyway. That's about it for that's Tabby

(13:06):
not allowed to add. We'll go with killing slimes for
three hundred years. That one was okay, three hundred slimes
type that in so I can start reading about it.
This week was a beach episode for those who are watching,
and basically they go to the south the South Beach
in essence of the country, to get away from the

(13:26):
Chili mid country as if they're starting to approach fall
and winter. They try to go swimming and the entire
sea is infested with jellyfish and no one can do
anything about the jellyfish. And while they're trying to figure
out what to do about the jellyfish, they end up
seeing a very interesting woman on the beach. This woman

(13:47):
is trying to sell her paintings and they're like, oh,
what do you paint? They start looking, and she paints
the most absolutely depressing shit you can imagine, the most
like sad like whole horror filled like things that you
would see. And basically she's like, oh, you know, like
I just I And we find out later that she

(14:07):
likes painting like the sound of the looks of despair
and agony and loneliness in people, which is quite lovely.
But in any case, we find out also that not
only is she a painter, but she is a what's
it called? She is a jellyfish whisperer, and so basically
they task her to part the jellyfish like Moses, part

(14:30):
of the red Sea, and they're allowed to swim, and
so they swim and they have a great time, and
she even does some powers where she makes the jellyfish
glow before they're supposed to glow, and that's really nice.
And you see nice green glowing jellyfish look like they
are all radioactive, but all good, no big deal. And
basically the girl thanks them as well, saying that she
just squished my fucking finger. That hurt. Damnit, that hurts,

(14:53):
sorry guys. Anyways, the girl thanks her basically says, hey,
you've given me new inspiration for some new paintings. I'm
gonna open exhibit coincidentally pretty soon, and here's some free tickets.
Bring you your friends and everybody else you want to
bring along, and we'll check it out. And they're like, gee, thanks,
and they decide to bring in the demon party as well.
So all the girls go to the exhibit and they

(15:15):
see it's a nice, nicely like built place and you know,
very nicely displayed, and they look for their paintings and
they're all depressive. They're all getting killed by waves or
tentacle monsters or drowning. They're all just miserable, and they're like,
what the hell do And the demon princess whose name
I forget Belziebub, I remembered it now Belziebub looks at

(15:38):
one of the paintings that's not related to the sad
paintings that she had just recently painted and was trying
to put her finger on it, and she basically says like, yeah,
I was just trying to capture like an image in
the background. And her and her people were like, hey,
this is the tomb for a like very powerful leader

(16:00):
of some descript or whatever. I wasn't paying one hundred
percent attention, and so they're like, we should check it out.
But so basically we get as Uza and Belzebub and
a couple of the girls basically not too many of
them because they don't want to have anything happen to
the other girls since this is like some powerful like
unknown dark tomb or whatever. They head over to the
tomb location, which was they couldn't find it at the time,

(16:21):
which that's why Belzibib was so interested in it. So
they go there, they see this leader's subjects and basically
they ask them to help. I think they asked to
help her like guide her to some like peaceful end
as she's already dead or something, and that the episode
ends with them trying to basically go find this leader
and help ease her into the next life. I think

(16:43):
is what it is. Again, it's just there, is what
it is? Uh? What have we got next? Moving on,
we get shi Unji Family. Chi Unji Family is a
solid episode. I would say a very solid episode this week.
Let me find what was written GINGI Family a right?

(17:05):
This week? She and g Family quite hilarious. I started
like a caption with Haystep bro on our animate Instagram
page Eat the Cake anime, But in any case, it
was pretty solid. Like I said, Long story short from
this episode, Meanami is starting to really catch feelings for Aretha.
She's very antsy around him, trying to like figure out
what's next, replaying all the nice words he said to

(17:27):
her in her head. And basically the episode focuses a
lot on two things. First thing is Bonerie. Bonderi basically
forgets something at her like nurses college and asks Aurea
to come with her, and they have like this like
creepy thing because she's afraid of ghost where they're walking
the dark hallways and Bonderi is like clasping onto him
with like his arm fully between her tits, and you know,

(17:49):
obviously Aretha feels a certain type of way about that.
And then basically they try to hide from a guard,
so he basically comes from behind Bondrii grabs her like
waist and covers her mouth, drags her to a corner
and they wait for the guard to go, and then
Aretha realizes I'm squishing her tits and she's so soft,
and he lets her go, and basically Bonderie is like

(18:11):
fully flushed her ears are flush, and she's like, I thought, like,
my teasing finally broke you, and I thought you were
like you couldn't take my teasing anymore, and you were
making a move on me. She's like, but of course
you wouldn't, right ha. And so we had that and
they basically they go to the clubroom and what Bondri
had left in the clubroom was a doll. Aureta was like, hey, like,

(18:33):
I didn't know you liked dolls, and she's like, well,
I personally am not like a doll person. But she
basically starts giving him the story of why she got
into nursing college and why she joined her club because
Arta again didn't know that she was in a club herself.
And basically, when she first got into nursing school, she
was doing a tour and she noticed there were like

(18:54):
many sick children and some of them, you know, we're
playing with each other. Some of them were pretty lonesome
and looked really grim. They're all like long term, like
children's hospital patients. And basically she saw the work that
the club did to like put smiles on their faces,
read them stories, bring them little toys and dolls and stuff,
and she fell in love with that principle and so
she immediately went to the club and she asked about

(19:15):
it and she joined and she's been like, you know,
sewing dolls and things for the kids. And we basically
find when it's all said and done that you know,
she gave the dolls to the kids after everything, and
it's really nice, really wholesome, like really sweet this is
and we find how, you know, nice of a girl,
BOONDERI really is right. She's not just like the guy
ru type of like flirty girl like no, she has

(19:36):
her head on her shoulders really well. And she also
mentions another part of why she chose to be a
nurse in the first place is basically when she was
young and their mother was in the hospital, it was
just her and their father and they would leave her
mother and she would be upset that she didn't want
to leave her mother and seeing her mother sick, and
she was in a corner crying one day alone and
a nurse came and comforted her and talked to her

(19:57):
and made her feel better, and she's like, wow, these
nurses are so like special and powerful, like they mean
so much, and that's what shifted her to really become
want to become a nurse in her life. So again,
really powerful, really nice stuff. From that perspective, it was
really sweet. The second half and the more important half,
I would say, though, of the of the episode basically
focuses on Oka in particular. Oka basically midway through the

(20:21):
episode confronts Kotono and basically was like trying to gauge,
like how real the feelings were, So she confronts Kotono,
and Katono confronts her back, admitting like, hey, I was
in the closet when you and art I had that
moment in the game room where he was on top
of you and you looked like you were ready to
like fuck him and shit. And she also overheard him

(20:41):
when she had when she had written I love you,
and she had saw the message that was sent between them.
So confronts her with all this stuff and asked Oka
straight up, like do you like him like more than
a brother? Do you like him like a man? And
Oka lies and was like no, of course not. You're
crazy like this, it's all just Jihn misunderstanding. Kotono believes

(21:02):
her she's galvanized. She's like yay, no one else wants
him I'm gonna get on Nietzschean and I'm gonna fuck
on Nietschean and be with on Niechan forever. And Oka
leaves and she's kind of upset by the whole thing
because she's really realizing, like, damn, I think I might
be falling from my brother too, And she becomes highly
distracted thinking about Kuotono and Aretha, and she ends up
failing her mock test. She gets a D in her

(21:24):
mock test, which is unlike her because she's really smart
and she puts a lot at the studying and the
distractions of everything cause her to like just sink that test.
And so the episode ends with her leaving the house.
Artha sees her leaving the house and asks where is
she going? And she mentions, I think it's like Yama
Atta or Yamagucci or Yama yama something, but it's a

(21:46):
far away location for their place, and Aretha's like, why
the hell are you going there? But he doesn't make
any real scene about it, and he thinks like, oh,
like we have no family there, so that's weird. But
maybe she just wants to get away. She needs to
like reevaluate things. I know it's been a time of
month for her with everything that's happened, okay, and it's
as the start of a long weekend. She left on Saturday.
They had that Monday off for a holiday, so she'll

(22:07):
be back. And the episode ends with Aretas saying in
the voiceover, like she didn't come back. Even on that
Tuesday when we were supposed to go to school, she
didn't come back. So effectively, she's missing. She's afk as fuck.
So obviously next episode they're going to try and find her.
So a pretty solid episode there of Shiyunji family, and
then last but not least that I'll talk about today

(22:27):
that Chris is not watching is Sword of Demon Hunter.
Sword of Demon Hunter is was pretty good. I would
say basically we pick up where we left off in
the last episode where Jinta basically goes after the third
reincarnation and he struggles a bit before he pulls out
all of his demon powers and basically, what's the word

(22:51):
I'm looking for? And not subduce subdues, subdues the other
dude and basically asked her a bunch of questions. He
asked him the questions about like who is he? What
is he doing? Things? Of that nature, and we find
out basically that he is the third generation and his
powers are like Sukuma Gumi powers, which basically he's able
to control like things in a positive way that have

(23:14):
like soul, Like he puts soul literal soul into like
objects and that's how he's able to control them. And
he explains that the original the original name, like the
original guy who was of the name, he was again
as we had seen the previous episode, learned, he was
a swordsmith and he was so good at his craft
that his objects would literally become like they would literally
get souls. And so basically Jinsa tries to like kind

(23:38):
of like figure out why when what's her face? Let
me find that damn thing? Again? We just use names,
probably use he obviously he used names. Where the fuck
is it here? It is? Uh, what's her face? Not
o fu? She is itch Tose? I think it's she tose?

(24:03):
When ch tose, Oh, it's not to no, it's definitely
not Sue. When Natsu puts the the little pin and
is it not so God don't even fucking know anymore anyway,
when the girl puts the fucking the pin in her
in her hair. Basically, why is she taking on that
on nische On character, because again we're all suspecting the
Onischon character is like when her and her and his

(24:25):
younger sister Suzune when they were good. But basically says, like,
you know, you just have to return them to the
original like owner the original pair. And so he returns
back to Homegirl and realizes, like the hair pin that's
in her hair that's causing her to have this like
personality disorder, it was missing its younger sibling. And he

(24:47):
pulls out a uh, the fucking cone pic for men, right,
it's your head or whatever, and puts it in her
head and gives it to her, and basically it creates
like a unified co moment between them and a cuckoo
bird basically, a spiritual cuckoo bird comes out and cuckoos
and flies away, and basically she mentions some sort of

(25:10):
like saying that's associated with the cuckoo bird, and it
involves like the unification of brother and sister like together
as family together and not separated, so forth and so on,
and they're able to live peacefully. And then eventually Homegirl
passes out, and basically that's kind of where the episode
kind of ends, and then we get an after credit,
which is really nice. The after credit for this week

(25:32):
we see the show fast forward to two thousand and nine.
Keep in mind they were in like eighteen thirty nine
and they fast forward like fucking one hundred and eighty
seventy seventy No, seventy, yeah, seventy years. They fast forward. No,
not even one hundred and seventy years. What am I saying?
They fast forward one hundred and seventy years to two

(25:52):
thousand and nine. We see Jinsa is now enrolled in
high school. After all this time, Jina is like three
hundred years old and he's now enrolled in high school.
But he returns to a location and he asked the
main shrine, the shrine maiden. She's, you know, the shrine maiden.
We see her talking to her mother and she's like,

(26:12):
why do I have to be a shrine maiden And
they're like, oh, it's just a promise that the girls
of this like that are born in the shrine have
to do. So Genta comes over and asks what's the
name of this shrine and they're like, it's the Genta
Strand the Gentist shrine, and he's like the Genta shrine
and he's like, yeah, but you're the shrine maid and
he's like, no, it's Skuheme. And if you remember in
episode one, when you watch it, Chris, the main like

(26:33):
deity is called eats Skuheme. And so basically, after all
this time, I'm spoiling this for you, So I'm sorry,
But after all this time, the what's it called the
town elder kept his word made a shrine. It survived
three hundred years, almost two year, two hundred plus years,

(26:54):
survived two hundred plus years, and the shrine is named
after Jenta, who as we see, is still alive and
still pursuing the demons and such. And that was a
really nice, wholesome moment. And then it fast forwards to
them in school, and yeah, Jenta is now enrolled in
high school. He's got his sword in like some sort
of like cloth like type thing, looks like some sort

(27:14):
of band like object, as if he was in band.
And yeah, now we fast by episode ten, we fast
forward now into like regular times, he's in the year
two thousand and nine instead of in like the eighteen hundreds,
like feudal Japan. So that was pretty solid, pretty pretty
fucking solid from there, and that's it. You'll notice, by
the way, ladies and gentlemen, one thing before I transition

(27:36):
over to Chris, Chris isn't gonna talk about wind Breaker
and he's not gonna talk about which watch yet because
over the course of this past week, since the last
time you saw me, I put in the time and
the effort, which is why we didn't do the podcast
yesterday and we fast forwarded today so I could put
that time and effort. I am fully caught up one,
caught up on both wind Breakers. He's in one and

(27:58):
two and which why as of this week? So whoa
and boy, they're both really fucking good. I will say
that before we get we'll talk about them later. Anyway,
Chris shows yours floor as yours. What do you gotta
talk about this week?

Speaker 1 (28:14):
Okay, I'm gonna talk about You're not watching to be
Hero acts?

Speaker 4 (28:22):
Right?

Speaker 1 (28:23):
No, Okay, I got that one guy.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
I'm gonna talk about solos first, because I got two
good ones that I'm gonna fucking bring out that I
actually have been somewhat keeping up with.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
The first one is a classic and my classic. I
mean when that should have been finished a season or
two ago.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
I'm talking about our Last Percede or the Rise of
the New World season two.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
It's probably that, guys, let's fucking go okay.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Uh, I'm I'd like to talk more about that, because like,
it's fucking in the middle of the season. It's it
does uh catching back up or it's just what it's
a mess At the moment, I can't really talk much
about it because of it's in the middle. It they

(29:16):
brought it back in the middle of the season, so
it's like, uh, it's behind.

Speaker 3 (29:22):
And they brought one again of season two.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Uh no, no, they they they're up to like episode
eight now.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
But like if I bring up Stuck now, it's not
gonna make any fucking sense because I gotta go back
all the way to talk about season one because no
one watched that, and then I gotta talk about what
came out in season two. But hey, it's fucking back
and I'm super excited. The other show that I actually
will be able to talk about is Yaiva Samurai Legend.
Uh what uh basic basic premise of the series is, uh,

(29:57):
this kid, this small ass kid who is training in
the jungle by his father, to be a master kendo
passed off this high schooler for no fucking reason. The
the high schooler crashed out, UH went into the secret
hidden basement of his dojo, found a demon sword, pulled it,
got possessed by a demon just to get back at

(30:19):
this one kid who's like five eight around there. Now
the kid has to go on an adventure to find
another demon sword not get possessed, so he can beat
the ship out of the high schooler.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
UH. May.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
What's going on now is he went into the past
due to magic demon bullshit U to the land of
UH the warring the Warring States era, where he meets
a young Musashi Miyamoto and Kodro Sosaki, and he gets
involved in their duel, all right, and that's that's all

(31:01):
fun and games.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
So that's basically what's going on with that mm HM.
Next is gonna be to to be a hero x UH.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
After last week's amazing cliffhanger, which fucking hell, we're getting
a new work, getting a new character to focus on.
This entire episode was done in two D cat UH
cat over there, and it focuses on Lucky Cyan, who

(31:34):
has been mentioned briefly UH and as like a kid.
Apparently when she was a kid, she survived a plane
crash that killed her entire family. Uh. There's like hints
that it was an undercovered job by the hero association
association because no heroes were able to like stop it,

(31:54):
and it's the first plane crash and who knows how
long and and she gets taken in this by this
orphanage who proceeds to use her as like a uh
a selling point because everything she comes in contacts with
good things happen to them. And she feels trapped because uh,

(32:20):
she can't do anything like a normal kid, which she
has to be the perfect little uh church girl.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
Uh h.

Speaker 2 (32:31):
Shortly after she gets enrolled, gets taken in, another boy
gets taken in who has the opposite effect. He's constantly
admitting bad luck and he's called the calamity, and he
promises her that he'll uh, he'll help her escape her cursed.

Speaker 1 (32:48):
Life of good fortune.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
And by the end of the episode, after she sings
like him to the congregation, she rips off her like
masked her hood uh and cloak and starts to sing
a like Idols pop song with the boy playing guitar

(33:11):
while she's skinning around and Uh. This causes everyone to
church to be pissed and they try to escape, only
to be stopped by the head of the orphanage.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
And that's all that happened that episode. Uh, let's see,
I think that's watching, Oh that you're not watching.

Speaker 3 (33:41):
Besides, ah, well I have the list that what he's watching.
Lazarus Gundam.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
Yeah, okay, Las, I'll start with them, Uh Gundam. We
got another flashback episode, this one focusing more so on.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
Or. It's two parts.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
The first part of the flashback is focuses on Commander
Gurin and Lady Uh.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
Cacilia Cassilia going after a uh or not Cassilia.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
Commander shar Uh going after a enemy unit uh in
his new suited up bread Gundam, Uh take it down
with ease.

Speaker 1 (34:26):
Everyone's like worried about a man. Uh.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
There's some weird particles going on in the air, and
for some fucking reason, shar just disappears out of nowhere
as he's like hearing some strange people.

Speaker 1 (34:39):
Talking to him.

Speaker 2 (34:41):
It's then brought back to the present where Khan Uh
is who is taken in by these Eno the Xenos
Xeon Xeon Army.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
That she's going to be used to test uh, the
this new Gundam that they're making. I think it was
like the Gundam freed right, something like that.

Speaker 4 (35:07):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
And the problem with that is that everyone who's tried
to pilot that there's been five people for UH. There's
five candidates who tried to pilot it beforehand. Three of
them died. She is now a new the new one
to try and pilot it.

Speaker 3 (35:21):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
It turns out that.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
One of the other UH people testing it is a
spy who is meant to kill anyone who tried to
command take control pilot this gundom. When the big like
meeting show off between the dude who we've known all
this along and the new guy who we just met

(35:45):
because he's the trader, Kian uses her powers too, do
you control the gundam to blast this uh, to melt
this dude with a laser and kill him.

Speaker 1 (35:59):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
And and Mashu is currently in prison in.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
UH.

Speaker 2 (36:11):
Yeah, she's currently in prison under the assumption that she's
the terrorist who's trying to who was controlling.

Speaker 1 (36:19):
The cheek bous. I think that's all that happen now.

Speaker 3 (36:25):
Now for.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
Okay, now for last res UH, this episode we're getting
going into Chris's backstory. UH long story short, she was
a Russian spy, now she's not. She got out of
that life after she almost died at some UH place

(36:48):
airport disaster three years prior to the story and wanted
to get away from that. She meets an old uh
in her handler, who gets to revealed to be her
girlfriend UH or was her girlfriend, and she catches her

(37:10):
UH brings her to an oil ring in the Baltics
UH to interrogate her and kill her because she's a trader.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
The team finds out about this.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
They also find out that the commander of Lazarus used
to work with Skinner, but she has no idea where
he is, just like everyone else, she was originally taken
in UH she was she was originally taken into Lazarus
because of her connection with Skinner UH.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
And UH.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
They get nowhere with that one of questioning.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
They then go head to the Baltics to try and
figure out or to try and rescue Chris because according
to the commander, she requested that if she was gone
more than seventy two hours, to kill her because she's
a spy and they're just going to torture the information

(38:12):
out of her.

Speaker 3 (38:16):
What else?

Speaker 2 (38:17):
Axle breaks into the oil rig, rescues Chris as they're leaving,
with the place being up in flames that the Chris's
girlfriend handler person says, reconcilesed with Chris, but gets shot

(38:44):
by one of the soldiers and dies. And that's pretty
much all that happens. They're no closer to finding Skinner
and times running out.

Speaker 3 (38:59):
How much time is left now? I think like two
weeks still at two weeks, two weeks last week, mm.

Speaker 1 (39:07):
Hmm, twelve days. Maybe I wasn't I wasn't paying attention
to when they said how much time was that?

Speaker 4 (39:16):
Ah.

Speaker 1 (39:17):
It was hilarious though, because like, uh, when the handler
who was the one leading the operation was talking to
her subordinates, she would just call them comrade, A comrade,
G go do this.

Speaker 2 (39:31):
It was like, Oh, you're not gonna give these guys names,
that's huh, that's really funny.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
Alpha bet works.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
Yeah, but they could have been given names since they're
not just like soldiers there people, that's fair.

Speaker 3 (39:50):
Uh h m hmm. And the last one is hero X.

Speaker 1 (39:54):
I believe I talked about hero X already.

Speaker 3 (39:58):
Okay, and then you know a no and Shirley No
Evil Galactic Empire, and we're good unless you want to
talk about Makina Sun the beginning after the end, if
you're still watching those.

Speaker 1 (40:09):
I'm not watching those. I dropped. Uh yeah, I dropped
them both around episode four.

Speaker 3 (40:19):
All right, cool, all right, well that was shorter than
he thought. All good, all right, let's start off. Ah,
what do we want to start off with? What do
we want to We want to start off with perfet
anim No, I want to start off with Summer Pockets
because I hate I'm starting to really not like Summer Pockets.
Go ahead and mugue you your way out of fucking
this one this week, Chris.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
All right, okay, so this week we're starting off with
continuation of last week with the German Japanese girl.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
I forgot her name and she wants to what's her face?

Speaker 3 (40:53):
Give me a second. Summer Pockets survey says her name
is Sumoogie.

Speaker 1 (40:59):
Okay, that's what it was. Uh.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
Personally, I like, Che's a cup better. Che's a cup
better because she's just all about.

Speaker 1 (41:05):
Those hits mm hmm movies.

Speaker 3 (41:09):
Oh by.

Speaker 1 (41:12):
Uh yeah.

Speaker 2 (41:14):
But they walk around their uh bas. What they basically
do is that uh Samoogie wants to make a veranda
out of Pringles cans. I don't get why, but like,
all right, so they go get help from everyone else.

Speaker 1 (41:32):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (41:34):
This leads to a funny moment where Hyar is like,
uh confused because it turns out she's a cup's like
this this they distinguished uh senior and class president of
the school or of the student president of the student council.
And she literally says like, I'm just a walk compared

(41:55):
of kits and hyrs, Like, wait the wood she she
she just said she's a walk.

Speaker 1 (42:00):
How is nobody that he gets gasled?

Speaker 2 (42:04):
It's so hilarious, but uh, they all help out find
try to find uh uh go around finding Kringles cans
for her to make her veranda. And things are a
little weird because uh after smook or after Hyrie confessed

(42:27):
to uh Smoogie last episode, which is weird.

Speaker 3 (42:31):
I pissed me off. I'm like, he just had a
nice moment with Homegirl where he did the confession and
that was really nice with uh Kushina, that was a
really nice moment. And then literally it's like, are we
in a simulation? Did they just rewind the fucking simulation.

Speaker 1 (42:45):
And it's a visual novel.

Speaker 3 (42:50):
All the scenarios with all the girls.

Speaker 2 (42:52):
Yes, last episode, last episode they showed they showed him
going to the island.

Speaker 1 (42:57):
For the first time. They just skipped me eating everyone
again because we don't need to see that fights.

Speaker 3 (43:03):
So, oh my god, this is crash. Uh do you
have you you've read the visual novel or have you read?

Speaker 1 (43:11):
No, I didn't read the visual novel.

Speaker 3 (43:14):
I'm almost like because this is made by the same
people's clan Ad. People know how much I love clan Ad,
and it's like, bro, I'm ready to fucking drop it.

Speaker 1 (43:22):
Uh, but where where was I? Uh?

Speaker 2 (43:27):
Yeah, because Sumookie is like trying to trying to like
pretend that the confession didn't happen because she doesn't know
how to take it, which she later reveals that like
uh to him uh us who tells how tells Harry
to get her a gift because they're not gonna be
able to hang out anymore after this, but it'll be

(43:49):
a good thing to help her remember him by. And
then later she confesses to him saying that, like, I
didn't know that how I felt, but when you said
you were going to spend the rest of your summer
with me. Uh huh, that touched me and like I

(44:11):
I confession to you too. And then and then later, uh,
Hyrie's late at night, Hyrie probably after sucking.

Speaker 1 (44:24):
Hyrie's helping.

Speaker 3 (44:27):
Uh. And finally he's doing something with the shed. Took
him eight episodes, but he's finally helping with the shed.

Speaker 2 (44:33):
Yeah, helped. And then he finds a picture of Samookie
in like traditional Japanese clothing and.

Speaker 3 (44:40):
She pulls a colown and disappears.

Speaker 2 (44:42):
She's a ghost. She's she's also a ghost. So all
ghost clearly, they're all It's like I told Matt this.

Speaker 3 (44:48):
I don't know if you saw last week, but I
told Matt, I was like summer summer Pockets. Just feels
like fucking Hyrie is just guiding lost souls to the afterlife.
That's oh.

Speaker 1 (44:57):
I told Matt when I saw this episode that he's
just the ghost fucker.

Speaker 3 (45:02):
He's a ghost fucker. He's not fucking anybody.

Speaker 2 (45:04):
He totally fucked the girl, the first girl he's he
totally fucked in his dreams, but he's not fucking her.

Speaker 3 (45:13):
You don't know that.

Speaker 1 (45:14):
It's probably off screen.

Speaker 3 (45:16):
Oh god, he's the ghost fucker.

Speaker 4 (45:21):
What the fuck?

Speaker 2 (45:23):
And and it ends with some movie just disappearing from
her lighthouse. Uh, that's that's where that episode ends.

Speaker 3 (45:32):
I'm really so close to dropping this. I know this
is I guess if it's a twenty four episode anime,
I guess I could like starve off. But I'm already
hit the eight episode rule. It's a third of the
way on the twenty four episode anime. Really really really
close to dropping it.

Speaker 1 (45:50):
Oh you're welcome, Matt. Uh the thirty three minutes ago? Yeah,
minutes ago.

Speaker 3 (45:55):
Yeah, there's a new thing where we could see like
if we were popular, which were not really popular, if
we were popular, we'll be able to see comments on
the side, which is really cool.

Speaker 1 (46:03):
Yeah, I noticed that. I was like, wait, what the
fuck is that? Oh? Thank you Chris.

Speaker 3 (46:07):
Okay, Yeah, it's a beta thing on on stream yard,
which is pretty cool. I just turned it on. I
was like, okay, and I realized you can change the font,
and I was like, why do we keep the same
corny asspot, Let's put something different. But I didn't. Everything
else kind of like blurred or didn't look right. So
I was like, oh, we'll settle for the kind of
children's script here, which isn't so terrible, So something different, Okay, cool,

(46:28):
and that's that. I'm gonna sleep on dropping this genuinely,
I'm gonna.

Speaker 2 (46:32):
Wait till what's it called it's done and been to
at the end, if it's even worthwhile. I mean, you're
gonna hear me or Matt talking about it.

Speaker 3 (46:48):
Yeah, It's just this is this is such a chore.
Pockets is such a chore for me to watch. That is.

Speaker 1 (46:54):
That is how I felt about Zatza, Cob.

Speaker 3 (46:57):
Pockets, Slime the next and we're gonna talk about which
is my hero Vigilantes Like these all seem like fucking
chores to me at this stage. Honestly, dude, I prefer
vigilantes to base my hero.

Speaker 1 (47:10):
It's it.

Speaker 2 (47:12):
It's like such a relief that we actually have character
development in my hero. It's why I also like to
be hero X because like we get character development. I mean,
the characters, like the main focus of the characters change
all the time.

Speaker 3 (47:26):
But like this week was it was so corny with
this new like fucking Captain America.

Speaker 2 (47:32):
Fucker Yeah, because he's it's basically to say, oh, hey
there's other heroes outside of Japan. Here's a character who's
going to be a part of like showing you a
new aspect of the hero society. Like I guess we'll
talk about that next Yeah you know.

Speaker 3 (47:51):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
New episode focuses on an American hero captain Celebrity. His
power is flight, it seems like, and he also gets
a strength boost and he's a hope. Yes he is
uh jigglob uh he he he he gets in. The
reason why he's in Japan is because he is. He
got into a bunch of legal issues with his wife

(48:13):
and other women because he's a massive flirt, uh trying
to sleep with anyone like within a five mile radius.
And uh Kochi helps him on the occasion. Uh he
runs into him when they're trying to help people.

Speaker 1 (48:32):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (48:33):
And Captain Celebrity at the moment is using uses Kobe
to like, uh make himself look good.

Speaker 3 (48:43):
And keeps scribbling his fucking signature over his all might
fucking hoddy exclusive.

Speaker 1 (48:48):
I'd be so passive, like, oh bro, I would have
been too.

Speaker 3 (48:52):
Guy's like a douchebag. He's just fucked up my valuable hoodie.
But yeah, yeah, I mean from there, as Chris Satti
uses him to basically look good and he's not a
really good hero clearly, Like he's like, he's got a
great fucking quirk, but he just he's like, Oh, I
only care about women. I look. I love making myself

(49:13):
look in front of.

Speaker 2 (49:13):
The press, in front of the That is actually not
his fault, because that is how that hero society works.
Or most dude, they because of the ranking system, they
have to make themselves look good. They have to like
take every opportunity.

Speaker 3 (49:27):
Yeah, but literally they're like, oh, it's a bank rob
Like later in the episode, he ends up with with
fucking uh brainiac girl.

Speaker 1 (49:35):
Oh yeah, oh you're talking about with polygraph Yeah.

Speaker 3 (49:40):
Polygraph girl, and she's like, oh, there's a bank robbery.
He's like, ah, that's not my problem. And then when
he goes over to freaking uh to uh what's it called,
to Kochi, she's like, oh, we gotta save this this
this boy, oh man, I'm more concerned about the woman
he makes. He makes Koichi carry a fucking sumo wrestler.
He carried us, and he picks the light girl up

(50:02):
and he's like, oh, she's so sweet, and Koch's struggling
to carry this fucking dumb sumo wrestler. That always says,
thank you so much, I'm so sorry, thank you so much,
I'm so sorry in Japanese, thank you kindly in Japanese,
and he's like, bro, what the fuck is wrong with you?

Speaker 4 (50:15):
Bro?

Speaker 3 (50:16):
It's ridiculous. But basically, at the end of the day,
when it's all said and done, polygraph Girl ends up
basically putting the fucking old switcheroo on his ass during
a date that they're on and basically contacted his wife
told him that told his wife like, yeah, he's being
a flirt, and then was like, oh, what was that.
If he doesn't change his ways in Japan, then you
know that he's a whore and you're gonna sue him
even more. And he ends up like fucking going straight

(50:38):
and he ends up doing like this public reimage thing
in Japan. He's got all these men around him chanting,
and he's got this ry, like fucking weird smile, like
I can't believe I'm doing this shit. I just want
to be a fucking slut. And that's basically it when
it's all said and done. But the after credit I
thought was really interesting. Credit was kind of funny actually,

(51:01):
but it was also corny. Basically in the after credit.
For the most part, we learn Kowechi gets a phone
call from his dad and it starts off really kind
of grim, like, oh, like his mom was in the hospital. No,
your mom is already on her way. She's in Tokyo.
She's coming to visit you. And so he starts cleaning
the house and Popstep is like, you know, it's just

(51:21):
your mom, dude, Like you know. She's like, oh, well,
you know, I told my mom I'm living a good life.
I'm really you know, I'm fulfilled, I'm doing well in
school and I've got a really really insanely amazing girlfriend.
And she's like what the fuck and he's like, ah,
so she she dips out. She's like fuck this shit.
So she leaps. As she leaps, his mom busts through
the door and was like Koachi, I'm here, show me

(51:43):
your house, and just fucking militant like mother Kuwechi's like yes, ma'am,
like all militant, liked weeeby fucking guy. And she's like, oh,
you're living a good life, just like you said, Thanks Mom,
where's your girlfriend? End episode.

Speaker 2 (52:00):
Coachi explains that his mom is super strict and if anything,
is out of line or he's lying about anything, She'll
drag his ass home to the country.

Speaker 1 (52:10):
So that's why he's worried.

Speaker 3 (52:13):
The worst, the fucking worst. Oh, Kobe g I like,
I said, this is corny. This this week's episode to
me was like, Oh, it's not going where it's it's
not going any higher than where I have it in
my thirteen. And it's only in my thirteen because I
have to have it in my thirteen. Literally, my eleven

(52:34):
my honorable mentions have to be in my thirteen because
of that. Honest to god, I would have put fucking
Which Watch if I could. I put sort of the
Demon Hunter in here if I could, and then I
don't even know if I will put Pockets in here
at this stage. Maybe because it gave us a couple
of nice moments, I might put Pockets in here.

Speaker 1 (52:51):
That's it well, isn't well? If it's it's twenty four episodes,
you can't put it in.

Speaker 3 (52:56):
I know it's so saying if I could put it in,
I might.

Speaker 4 (52:58):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (52:59):
I know for sure, I would have put witch Watch,
and I would have put what's it called, uh a
Sword of Demon Hunter in there. I could have in
any case all right, moving on, We'll move on. Let's
go with another show that really annoyed me this week
and continues to kind of annoy me and to me,
that is boy Girl Friendship. Boy Girlfriendship is a perpetual

(53:22):
fucking annoyance in my life. But basically, for what it's worth,
they're basically all doing damage control of the stage with
everything that happened, with the whole fucking like controversy around it,
the the custom jury that's done, Boy girl Friendship. I'm
trying to find me recap.

Speaker 2 (53:42):
Friends after ah, he's basically forced to take all the
the accessories he made for the girl at school.

Speaker 1 (53:57):
You is feeling very.

Speaker 2 (54:00):
Uh the pressed about his future as an accessory maker yeah,
and want and wants to take a break and quit
until he's finished high school, which Jimari gets really pissed
about because like, hey, no, this is the thing that
this is the thing that connected us from the beginning.

Speaker 1 (54:19):
If you're gonna stop this, like what's the point of
us being friends?

Speaker 3 (54:24):
And she gets gee, I don't know the way that
I make you feel and the way that we have
fun together. It's not just about the business, your stupid woman.

Speaker 2 (54:31):
Yeah, but that's like basically what's connecting them like if
if like they lose, if she lose, is what's connecting them?

Speaker 1 (54:39):
Then what's the difference between her and an a motive?

Speaker 3 (54:43):
Because she's shallow, that's why, because she's shadow. I only
love I love you when you're working, is basically what
she said the entire season. You look best when you work,
you shine best when you work. You look so sexy
when you work, not everything else, not all all the
reasons why you fell in love with him.

Speaker 1 (55:01):
But that's because that's his whole character though he is,
he's focused on his work.

Speaker 3 (55:07):
Hem him because of the their nice moment that they
had when they were kids.

Speaker 1 (55:12):
Animoto didn't know him when they were kids.

Speaker 3 (55:14):
Animoto's better girl than you.

Speaker 2 (55:16):
Wait, hold on, Animoto didn't know him when they were fit,
did they?

Speaker 1 (55:21):
Yeah, because she only knew about him because of the
thing he made.

Speaker 3 (55:26):
No, she only she met him in the the what's
it called the flowers thing that she li were together
and they were in the botanical garden the nursery, and
they started talking about flowers, and she really liked the flowers.
And then they never met again until they met in school.
And then she found out like, oh, you're the flower guy.
Oh my god, I love the flower accessories. It makes
total sense. I've liked you since da da dah when

(55:46):
you really made me feel good because you talked about
flowers and I could tell how nice you were that
type of things. Anamoto is a way better girl.

Speaker 1 (55:52):
I don't remember that.

Speaker 3 (55:54):
That was in like episode like two or three.

Speaker 1 (55:57):
That's probably why I don't remember it.

Speaker 3 (55:59):
I was like two or three, dude, So it's like, yeah, bro.
But basically to what Chris said, Yui threatens to break
up their friendship and they're like, all right, fuck it whatever,
and then basically per usual, Yui's brother saves the day,
makes her realize some things and honestly, which is very surprising,
and Amoto is the one that ends up helping you

(56:22):
realize that when it was all said and done. His
motivation is partially because of his creative like using this
as a creative outlet, but his motivation has always been
Yui has always been trying to like get her to
like really, you know, shine, and she he loves making
her things, loves making her feel good, loves making her like,

(56:43):
you know, making her happy with the accessories, which is
not obviously the best thing, but high school typical. It
makes sense. And so when it's all said and done,
basically they kind of have like a come to Jesus
between them, and like when they were playing video games,
and she ends up you sorry, ends up going over
to he Mari. I don't know why, Yui, I meant
to say Mari. Mari ends up going to Mari, and

(57:03):
they both apologize to each other for some of the
ship that they did, and they end up back together,
and you see her continue to be fucking She's not soon, Darra,
what is that? What? What is he? Mari? What? Darra?

Speaker 4 (57:15):
Is she?

Speaker 2 (57:16):
No, she's definitely she shows her darray side more than
her suit side, but she's still.

Speaker 3 (57:24):
She's as fun. So she continues to be as fuck
you continues to be feckless and doesn't say anything either,
and we're back to the same old bullshit. And then
at the end of the episode, we see Animoto's sister.
You don't know what's animoto sister, but you can kind
of put two and two together and you end up
seeing it, like I think it's in the preview for
next for next week, it's Animoto's sister.

Speaker 2 (57:46):
I can't wait the fuck up? She shows up as
she's talking to whatever the dude's name ship. Yeah, and
and they're gonna go after the bit the chicks who
like spread the rumors and ruined everyone's day.

Speaker 1 (58:05):
Oh, they're going to you read that you read No, No,
I didn't read this or I read like the first chapter.

Speaker 2 (58:11):
That's why I know of it. But like that's what
they were saying. We're gonna go after the people who
caused the problem, right, And he is like, I want
in on this too, let me join you.

Speaker 3 (58:20):
Yeah he did say that.

Speaker 2 (58:21):
Yeah, because he feels responsible because he's the he's the
reason why everything went to ship because you see who
you was.

Speaker 3 (58:30):
He will not win best supporting boy. That's that is
for sure. Okay, cool, moving on, Uh, let's go with
Rock is a lady's modesty this week.

Speaker 1 (58:45):
This was a good episode.

Speaker 3 (58:48):
Trying to remember other than the only thing I remember
is basically.

Speaker 1 (58:53):
Basically, uh, Lily is getting.

Speaker 2 (58:59):
Or is learning to help the prince chick uh learn
how to be herself because he's like, I want to
be what you guys are, and Lily is like, no,
don't be who we are, be yourself.

Speaker 1 (59:17):
Let rock. The reason why I love Rock is because
it lets me be who I am.

Speaker 2 (59:22):
You need to let rock be help You need to
let rock help you be who you are, not who
everyone expects you to be.

Speaker 1 (59:30):
And everyone's like, man, this chick sucks. Get her out
of here.

Speaker 3 (59:36):
But then they don't they and they always forget the struggle,
which is what they went through last week. When you
saw Lily. Remember what she struggled with early on with
her dad, So, and that's why she feels that compassion
on top of that. So is that it I don't
remember the rest of the episode.

Speaker 2 (59:55):
Every sound like I don't remember. Uh, oh, nope, nope,
I can't remember anything else.

Speaker 3 (01:00:01):
I think that was all okay, Yeah, basically, oh, I
do remember something. They they cut down the notes to
help her. Rather than have her play the entire song,
they had her cut down some of the notes and
just play some of the simpler notes. And basically they're
going to overcompensate with everybody else. What's her face? The
temporary chick Tomaky. She still talks shit, and she's like,

(01:00:24):
it's bad enough. We have to overcompensate because of the
fact that you're mid as fuck to Lily, and now
we got to be even more mid because of that
shit and fucking that was funny. But basically they're gonna
have her just play the simple notes to over compensate
with the drums and the guitars and hopefully no one
will notice. Oh I do remember it. So basically, it
comes the day of the gig and they go to

(01:00:45):
the dressing room and they get ready, and then the
other band comes in and they start talking shit to
her to all the girls about you know who they are,
but they look like you, especially with the T shirts
and stuff, like, they don't look very you know, they
look like fucking want to be punk rockers and shit,
not real rock stars. And then they're focused on Tina
and Tina's tits because Tina has humongous knockers, and they're
like this, the only way people won't realize it's you

(01:01:07):
is if you wear something like this and it shows
your tits accentuates your tits because nobody knows you have
big tits. And basically they pissed them off, and then
that kind of sets them up for the next episode,
which will be tomorrow as we record. Then it'll be
the the battle in the club. So I did remember
that piece. Okay, yah, let's go with what do we

(01:01:32):
want to go with.

Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
I'm not trying to go with Taka manage because we
got to talk about two episodes.

Speaker 3 (01:01:38):
Oh yeah, that is true, ain't it? Yeah? All right,
let's go with Let's go with pervy anime.

Speaker 4 (01:01:44):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:01:45):
Last week's episode was introducing a new character yes, child yeah,
childhood friends of share out, basically a tomboy who is
a model going to his crams. Go with him because
he wants to study up and to be able to
get into U Takamine's College of Choice m hm, which

(01:02:08):
is pretty impossible at.

Speaker 1 (01:02:09):
His uh, at his still level.

Speaker 2 (01:02:11):
Basically, they go to a park, have fun, They get
into water boon fights, she licks his neck, flashes almost
splashes her tits.

Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
That are drawn subsequently afterwards in one of the fantasies. Yep,
he didn't files with nothing but me taking pictures of
the of the fucking nakedness in the show.

Speaker 1 (01:02:34):
Uh uh uh uh.

Speaker 2 (01:02:38):
Cheryla was like, oh man, it'd be pretty bad if
Takamine showed up, It'd be really hard to explain what
the fuck is going on? Uh And just as she
appears from behind him asking what the fuck are you
talking about?

Speaker 3 (01:02:49):
Why?

Speaker 2 (01:02:50):
Why are you talking about me, Why are you letting
this bim, this slut like lift all over you and
get all over you and get herself right.

Speaker 1 (01:02:59):
Uh uh?

Speaker 2 (01:03:00):
And Ellie's like, oh no, no, everything's cool. We're just
childhood friends. We used to play together.

Speaker 3 (01:03:06):
Wait, and then she recognized the Takamina and she's like,
oh my god, I remember you. And then it puts
more in context.

Speaker 1 (01:03:14):
And she and Takamine remembers her.

Speaker 2 (01:03:16):
It's like, oh man, you're you're the girl who's playing
with the Shiota when they were young, when you guys
were younger.

Speaker 3 (01:03:24):
Doesn't remember. Fucking Takama. He's such a he is a
dumb ass as fuck. He's the these dumb asses. Fuck.
He's too chivalrous for his own good. The amount of
times he's seen this woman's vagina and just been like no,
I can't.

Speaker 1 (01:03:38):
Yeah, let's see. She gets like.

Speaker 2 (01:03:45):
This part oh yeah, this episode also shows like the
real Takamine like she got.

Speaker 1 (01:03:51):
She gets super.

Speaker 2 (01:03:52):
Jealous of Elli, like, uh try, and like when Sharota
brings out like a bull a water balloon condom she
thought it was the condom, was like, no, you can't
do this. You need to be like proper adults. You
can't just like whip that out, billy nilly. You gotta
be in love with someone in order to do that.
And it shows that, like, despite being a huge massacress Toicirosa,

(01:04:15):
she's still pretty innocent in her like views of love
and shit.

Speaker 3 (01:04:21):
But then she gets she gets happy at the end
when she really because she didn't know that he was
going to cram school and she's like, why'd you sign
up for cram school? And was like, oh, I really
wanted to be together, and she got like all like
oh fluttery, like because of the fact that like, oh,
he's putting in an effort for me to do something
for me, and it'll help him, but it's for me.
Oh my god, I'm gonna study with you the entire summer.
Let's go do our homework.

Speaker 1 (01:04:42):
And Ellie explains, Oh, uh, you're actually in love with him,
don't worry.

Speaker 2 (01:04:46):
I'm I was been I've been in an all girls
school for most of my life, so I don't know
how really how to act with adolescent boys.

Speaker 1 (01:04:54):
So you have nothing to worry about with me.

Speaker 3 (01:04:56):
You can do him, yeah, which leads us into the
next episode where we find out she's in a relationship
and she's not into guys. She's got a girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (01:05:06):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (01:05:07):
So she's at least bisexual. At least you hear that, Matt.
We kept it. We kept it proper. I didn't say
that she was gay and said that she was at
least bisexual. That's funny because I got tam is her
type and Takamine is her type. It's funny because I
got into like a little like thing with my coworker
because I always tell my coworker gay because she's like

(01:05:28):
married to a girl. But she's like, oh no, no,
I'm not gay. I just happened to be married to
a woman, but I'm not gay. She's like, the right
guy comes along, I'm getting it in and I'm like,
all right, that's cool, I get it. That works. So
I got to keep that in context from Matt. Did
that for you, buddy? But yeah, no, So we find
out she ends up she's with this girl, I forget
her name, but she's a waitress at like a family bar.

(01:05:49):
And basically they get out of school. This episode starts
off they get out of cram school, they're tired, and
Takamina comes over to pick up Shirota basically, and then
Ellie's like, why don't we all hang out. Let's go
to a family like restaurants so we can eat and
hang out. So they get a plate of fries and
they get like drinks or whatever, and they start talking
and again we see take mine more jealous, and basically

(01:06:10):
when it was all said and done, right and she
was basically the entire the entire time there in the restaurant,
She's trying to turn Ellie off by calling fucking she
wrotea nothing but like a fucking closet pervert that loves
like sexual shit and she's gonna like devour you and
rape you. And it was like the fuck and she
wrote was like, dude's that shit that you're saying you
want me to do that you're making up that you
believe I'm gonna do, But it's you have done to

(01:06:33):
me that you've done to me, You've taken advantage of me.
So that's hilarious. And then when it was all said
and done, they're about to leave and Ellie's like, hey,
can I talk to you Takamine, And so they send
Shirota off and basically they have the conversation like you're
in love with him? And uh, Takamine is like, no,
you're just making up lives. You're just making up stuff. Like, dude,

(01:06:54):
I know you like him. You don't have nothing to
worry about. She wrote, is just my homie. I'm in
a whole relationship, even though of my type, but I'm
in a whole relationship. And out comes the girl, uh,
the waitress, and they leave holding hands, so she's clearly
going out with the right with the waitress. They're they're
they're bumping ROASTBF sandwiches together, and uh, they're they're they're

(01:07:16):
they're they're they're eating roast beef every night. But we digress.
In any case, Basically that turns takemine, like in Ellie's favor,
like okay, like I've misjudged her. And we see as
she's walking home, Shirota was waiting for her, and they
end up like getting into a balloon fight themselves, and
she purposely gets wet so she could like flirt and

(01:07:38):
tease with fucking She's trying.

Speaker 2 (01:07:39):
She tries to recreate the like the event that with Ellie, Yeah,
getting herself wet so see her tits even though he
sees them almost every day, Uh has her has him
lick her stomach because she likes.

Speaker 3 (01:07:58):
It was a bet who ever gets whoever gets hit
by three balloons first has to do something of the
other person. So of course she wrote the loses and
was like, all right, you have to lick the sweat
off my body. You can pick my inner thighs, you
can pick my armpits, you can pick my under boobs,
or you can pick my stomach. And he's like, all right,
I'll go for the stoma because it's the least sexual
of the four. And so he goes for the stomach

(01:08:20):
and that was That was funny.

Speaker 1 (01:08:23):
Yeah, that was funny.

Speaker 2 (01:08:24):
And she says the reason why she did it is
to overwrite the uh, the memory that he had with
Ellie the day prior.

Speaker 1 (01:08:34):
In effect, they just need the fuck.

Speaker 3 (01:08:37):
They really need to. They really need to, which is
why I say about Shenji family, bro Sheenji family would
be a fucking fantastic Henti because if you keep the
love story, keep the love story introduced the fucking and
it's a goaded hendtie. It's like that that one hen
ti Ah, what is it? I think you'll you'll probably

(01:08:57):
know because you're a degenerate like me. Uh, but it's
the boy has the three h three classmates and he
ends up like actually going out with all three of them.
And it's because of the fact that his parents think
he wasn't manly enough, so they send him to live
on his own. He ends up like getting with the
three girls and they'll fall in love with him. I

(01:09:18):
forget the damn name of it.

Speaker 1 (01:09:21):
Ima Zoomi's yeah, my zoomi, zoom me em zoomy.

Speaker 3 (01:09:24):
Yes, it is my zooming And for those who haven't
seen it, first off.

Speaker 1 (01:09:28):
I haven't seen it. I only know it because I've
heard of it. Oh, it's like the closest thing I
could think of, Like, is that it is that what
he's talking about?

Speaker 3 (01:09:37):
Yes, I am talking about Zoomi. Ima Zoomi is a
great hand tie for those who like to who like
to observe in those things. It is a fantastic handtie
full of crazy, crazy sexual shit. But legitimately the author
and I always praise Ema Zoomi because the author literally
was like, all right, I've got the best of both worlds.
Here's the sexual shit, so have ad it if you
that's what you want to crank your hog to. But

(01:09:57):
he actually has a safe for work version where it
goes through the day to days. You don't see them
having sex, or they don't. They reference it a little bit,
but you don't see it. It goes into the relationship aspect,
and it goes into why the three girls love him
so much and are in this relationship with him? This
this Q throuple, I guess you could say throuble maybe quadruple.
I don't know anyway, why they're all in the relationship

(01:10:20):
with him, and they have moments they're really sweet, really caring,
like it's not just the fucking. So it's like, all right,
why can't they do that with with she and Gi.
Keep the fucking have the fucking, but give me the relationship,
That's all I'm saying. Or mm hmm, aarm the you're
looking for, Well, I mean, I know they're in a harm.

(01:10:42):
I was trying to think of, like the technical term
that normans they're all dating him. People that don't watch
anime won't know what a fucking harm is.

Speaker 1 (01:10:51):
That's not even from the anime. That's that's you know,
fucking uh uh uh Hindu.

Speaker 2 (01:11:03):
One of those one of those is yeah, yeah, that's original.
That's a real thing before anime.

Speaker 3 (01:11:10):
I just always reference it as anime. But I digress.
Anyway to Chris's point, long story short, they should fuck
already because they're I mean, bro, you're touching it every day,
he's seeing it every day. You might as well. You're like, oh,
this has a stain. You should look. It's got a stain.
I wonder what this stain is for for you, you
dumb ass. Anyway, back to the episode, Well that was

(01:11:33):
the That was the end of the episode, right, No, No,
it wasn't the end of the episode. Basically the episode
it continues on after that, and basically it's the last
day of summer and Shiroto wants to take.

Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
Uh, yeah, that's right. He wants to take her out, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:11:47):
Take her out, And every time he tries to do something,
she what's it called takamine sunder and this comes out.
She rewrites, she writes the day like four different fucking
times from ship and just to like just to kind
of like bother him. But at the same time she
gets flustered as well, so herson dry comes out. But
when it's all said and done, they have a nice
time together and they go on the rest of the

(01:12:08):
date together like it's like a water park.

Speaker 2 (01:12:09):
Type thing, and he basically the reason she does is
because she wants to be the one to take care,
like do all the things, Like she wants to pay
for the drink.

Speaker 1 (01:12:20):
She wants to like make sure he doesn't over exert himself.
She wants to buy him a gift without hit him
buying her one.

Speaker 3 (01:12:30):
Yeah, literally, he bought her coffee. Rewind. He bought her
a gift. Rewind. He took something within the boat. Rewind.
She falls over, rewind.

Speaker 2 (01:12:39):
No, she didn't dive out all over. She jumped out
a fucking backflip into the water.

Speaker 3 (01:12:46):
Yeah, she dove over, rewind. She was so flustered by
that moment she put her own panties on. Oooh, she
put her own panties on. But that's the thing in
this anime, so in any case, and that's where the
episode ends. So uh, I just wish they didn't have

(01:13:07):
that debacle early on in the season where they were
like trying to like hide stuff and you have to
go on to uh the pirate sites to try and
see the full nudity. All right, anyway, all right, moving on,
we got how many.

Speaker 1 (01:13:21):
Let's get the actual fucking kallu.

Speaker 3 (01:13:25):
Oh you want to go to Kloon. Okay we too, Yes,
well that's at the very very end. But in any case, uh,
this weeks Caloon, which I just saw today from Saturday.
It was pretty it was really good actually, So basically
we're off the heels of what Gwen had told uh
what's her face? Raco? Yeah, Raco and Yao May about
the fact that they don't exist, and Yao May still

(01:13:47):
doesn't doesn't believe her, doesn't believe him. He's she's gonna
go to Tokyo herself. So she goes to Tokyo mm hmm,
Hong Kong. Sorry, that's right, thank you. So she goes
to Hong Kong. She's like, I just refilled my even
when she can't get onto the train and she calls Gwen,
and Gwen's like, oh, I forgot to tell you, Like,
since you're working in Kylloon, like Kowloon, money doesn't exist

(01:14:07):
because Coyle Looun doesn't fucking exist. So she's like, here,
borrow some money and gives her like an exorbitant amount
of money, and she's like, I can really use this,
and she's like I got paid well on my last
job AKA fucking Miyuki. So that was that was fun.

Speaker 2 (01:14:20):
She's gonna get her money back when she goes back
to Calhoun, or it's just fucking gone forever.

Speaker 3 (01:14:25):
No, we gotta think it's back. I think she's just
gonna have a fuck ton of money in general, Yeah,
because of the money that she got from Gwen. But
in any case, so she goes, she starts asking around.
No one knows anything about Kyle Loon or doesn't want
to talk about Kylloon until she meets an old man,
the old man who disappeared from Kyllouon old doctor Wong.

(01:14:47):
Is that the original doctor Wong?

Speaker 1 (01:14:49):
Yes, because the one who disappeared was the fake.

Speaker 3 (01:14:53):
I know he was a doctor. I thought he was
just the old man.

Speaker 1 (01:14:55):
Yeah, yeah he was. He was old. He was a doctor.

Speaker 3 (01:15:00):
Then who I know? Doctor Wong was the guy that
where what's his face? The really creepy like looking fucker
he went into his files. That's doctor Wong, is it now? Yeah?
I'm pretty sure that's the old man. Let me see Kyloon, Kyleloon,
Jhen Eric Romance. It's just he's just the old the

(01:15:22):
g Chon. No, they don't even happen as a character
here on on analysty. If I go to my anime list.
But in any case, she meets the original old band,
they have a conversation. Basically it was like, oh, you
believe in the rumors, like yeah, and they start talking
and they're like, oh, it's a Habima like cover up,
which is why they they destroyed the original Coloon. But

(01:15:43):
that's just a rumor. No one knows anything, which we
find out, like earlier on in the episode, is really
true because Miyuki's talking to that like white haired fucker
his name is you Long by the way, you Long
until he calls you Long or you Long calls him,
and they like, you know, they talk about shit, and

(01:16:04):
basically they they admit like, yeah, it was originally a
cover up for some shit that happens. And we also
find out the original reason why Raco dies, the original Raco,
and it was an overdose from sleeping pills. But that's
a cover up.

Speaker 2 (01:16:19):
Yeah, yeah, they're like, she would have needed to take
like tens of thousands in order for her od from Batman,
from those uh those belts.

Speaker 3 (01:16:29):
Yeah exactly. So they're like, so we still don't officially know,
but the official record is that she died of an
overdose from pills and so as we keep going, yao,
May basically ends up when the doctor's like, oh go
or the old man was like, go online if you
want to really find out about it. She goes online
and everything for the most part has been deleted except
for one chat, and she starts talking to this chatter

(01:16:52):
on this forum about everything. Come to find out the
chatter is you Long himself, and they have conversation about it,
and basically it opens up Yame's eyes to several factors.
One factor is that when she arrived, she moved to
Calhoun six months previous, which was in March of that year.

(01:17:12):
I think it's March of ninety four or March and no,
it's March of ninety seven right now there, which is
very interesting if you notice that. I don't know if
you noticed that, Chris the the show is based in
nineteen ninety seven, because it's three years after Kloon gets
destroyed in nineteen ninety four. But they have fucking they
have high powered internet, they've got iPhones, but based in

(01:17:36):
ninety four, Okay or ninety seven, I should say, But
in any case, that's just the lay of the land.
And so like we moved six months prior, she moved
six months prior to Kloun in March, and she remembers
basically what Gwen said. The only people that can see
Kyloon are the former residents and the people who wish

(01:17:57):
to see it. And yal May remembers that she was
trying to find lodging. It was close at night. The
fuck is that some some kid outside crying interesting pork
at or it. It might be the straight cat who
knows interesting. Anyway, she was desperate for lodging. It was

(01:18:22):
going late at night and she was cold, and that's
how she found Kyleloon, and so that backs up the
point of anyone who seeks Kylun will find kylouon. She
also mentions that ever since she stepped into Kylun, she's
been wearing summer clothes the entire time, and if it's
six months from March, then it would be September. It's
no longer like hot summer. She'd be starting to cool down.

(01:18:43):
And it's very interesting that if it's night six months,
they're in September. When you look later on, which I
don't know if anybody notices that, but if you look
at Rako's phone, it shows that it's July first. It's
forever July first in Kyloun, which is interesting, but Oky,
she puts someone to together. She's speaking to you Long.
They exchange contact information, and as she's leaving the internet cafe,

(01:19:06):
she notices fucking you Long, but doesn't know that that's
who she's been speaking to this whole time. They were
basically back to back in the same internet cafe talking,
which was interesting, and so basically she calls Raco and
Rako agrees to meet her. Now we switch over to Raco,
who throughout the episode basically she ends up going back.
She's and she's pondering everything that Yao May and Gwen

(01:19:28):
like told her and what she saw and stuff like that,
and she ends up meeting When she goes back in
the caloun, she meets Kudo and Kudo's like, you know
what's going on? And she's like, oh, I had plans
with Yao May but they fell through, so I'm just
here and Kudo's like, you want to go go eat
and she's like okay, sure, So they got they have
a good time. They end up walking like an isolated
alley and Kudo looks over at at Raco and you

(01:19:54):
can tell that she's bothered, and so he's like, what's
you know, what's going on? And Raco big kind of
word vomits everything that she's feeling. She's like, you know,
why did you tell me not to leave? What about you?
Are you gonna leave? And then she like breaks down
and basically like Kudo comes and cuddles her, like holds her,
and uh Raco basically asks like, oh, like, don't ever

(01:20:15):
leave me, Please, don't ever leave me, and Kudo's like,
I won't. I promise, I'll I promise, I won't leave you.
I'll always be by your side, will always be together.
And when we fast forward to Yao May reaching out
to Raco, Rayco wakes up to the phone beeping and
she's butt ass naked and she's next to Kudo, who's
also a butt ass naked. One plus one would clothes

(01:20:36):
on the floor equals they fucked. So they finally got
it in. They finally did it. They did the deed.
Raco and Kudo had sex and Kudo's like what time
is it and she's like it's six in the morning,
and she's like, where are you going? Like he grabs
her like where are you going? Like, don't leave and
she's like, I'm just gonna meet up with Yaome before work, Okay,
I phone Yao may and that's where the episode basically ends,

(01:20:59):
with them embracing in bed again at six in the morning,
but ass naked. Maybe they had sex again before she
who knows?

Speaker 1 (01:21:10):
So, yes, Yeah, I thought they were gonna do something
fucking wild.

Speaker 2 (01:21:15):
When Yeah long was gave Yao made that piece of candy,
I thought that was gonna have like, oh man, here's
just some uh, here's just like some skin tissue of
Raco's dead body. Let's see if that like kills makes
the Raco uh Raco disappear.

Speaker 3 (01:21:36):
What the fuck? I did not think that at all.

Speaker 2 (01:21:39):
I thought that was what he was he was gonna
do with because he was like trying to figure out
how to get in and he was just how to
help uh Miyuki.

Speaker 1 (01:21:49):
I thought, okay, let's see if this can help.

Speaker 3 (01:21:52):
No, not at all.

Speaker 1 (01:21:54):
No, I thought. I thought. I thought some fun up
Shi it was gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (01:21:58):
Clearly, I see that, And it did not, Thank god,
it did not. Holy hell, Batman, what the fuck Jesus luisus.
All Right, anyway, let's move on. Uh, let's go with
We've only got a few more. Let's go. Let's start
off with Let's go with witch Watch this week, because

(01:22:19):
which Watch? What? First off, let me catch everybody up
on Witchwatch, because I binged Witchwatch. Like I said, this
is probably I'm not even kidding, probably gonna be comedy
of the season easily. This shit is so fucking funny.
Nico is kawaii as fuck. I love the shit out
of Moy. He is fucking awesome as far as I'm concerned.

(01:22:40):
So I am loving witch Watch. I am so glad
I picked up which Watch. But yeah, this week's episode
is pretty solid. Is this the episode where yeah, he
makes Homegirl disappear? Was that the previous one Homeboy disappear? Yes,
that was a previous one okay, where he makes home
Boy disappear. So this week's episode, I'm trying to remember

(01:23:04):
what the fuck happened, damn it. And I just saw
this the other day. What was it?

Speaker 1 (01:23:12):
Oh? It was the it focused on.

Speaker 3 (01:23:17):
Him, So yeah, Conshan, he is trying to make ends meet, right,
because he needs to pay for living expenses in this world,
and he's trying to make ends meet. So he ends
up auditioning to be like a side character for this
like play, and he gets the part.

Speaker 2 (01:23:34):
It's a hero show basically, it's basically like where you
see Power Rangers. I'll fight evil villains on the stage.
It's mostly forget.

Speaker 3 (01:23:44):
Yeah, and his name is Auto Man. Get it Ottoman,
auto Mano. If you watch the show and the way
we describe what happens, and then you'll get it completely.
So anyway, the character's name is Otto Man, and he
auditions to be one of the side fighters and he
gets that part. But then the director is like, you're
so good like mobile, Hey, can we bother you to
be the main character? He's like the main character. He's like, yeah,

(01:24:05):
the main character that we originally hired he got injured
and he can't like do anything, so would you be
the main character? And he's like all right, sure, yeah,
I'll be the main character. And so he does stuff
for the main character, and then you know, between takes,
he ends up speaking to the injured guy, and the
guy basically says like, you know, my family's really upset,
especially my son. He was really looking forward to seeing
me play Auto Man, you know, but it is what

(01:24:26):
it is. You know, nothing to do, so hopefully you
do well and con being the nice guy, was like,
I've got an idea, and his idea is basically, let's
completely switch roles. I'm going to be the evil villain.
You're gonna be the original Auto Man, and I'm gonna
basically like Sean Michaels versus Hulk Hogan bump for you.

(01:24:47):
I'm going to bump for you. And so we see
the original like guy. He ends up like lightly tapping
the villain and he goes flying. He I mean he
flies backwards. He is overacting selling. The kids for this
show are loving They're all loving it. They're all loving it,
and the director is pissed off. He is pissed off, like,

(01:25:10):
how could you do this? What the fuck is wrong
with you guys? You guys are not getting paid, none
of you guys, because you pulled this bullshit. So fuck
you guys, You're not getting paid. But the hilarious part
of the episode is while they were doing the auditions
when you see you see Conchin going ballistic because the
story is so fucking atrocious. Literally, Otto Man has a

(01:25:31):
normal life other than being a crime fighter. Otto Man
has a really shitty marriage. He has a dull, plain
boring marriage. Right, So bland and generic. He's got a
nice job, and we find out the villain is like
one of his like cohis that's really hot. But in
any case, he has a nice job. He faces the villain,
he goes back home, he sees his his wife has

(01:25:51):
candles and flowers and has made dinner and he's like, wow, honey, like, well,
what's what's today? It's so special and his wife is like,
it's our anniversary today, and he's like, oh, I'm sorry,
I didn't realize it was our anniversary. And his name
is auto Man because as a punishment for missing his
wife's anniversary, and whenever he gets punished by his wife,

(01:26:12):
he literally is on all fours acting as a foot rest.
He is acting as an ottoman, which was fucking hilarious.
And he's not the he's got the fucking the the
the submissive mask to booth. He's wearing the fucking submissive mask.

Speaker 1 (01:26:31):
He's in his.

Speaker 3 (01:26:31):
Underwear on all fours. It is hilarious, truly fucking funny.
But yeah, so that's the first half and then the
second half of it still features conshon I think, right, oh, yeah,
a new girl.

Speaker 2 (01:26:45):
We bring a new girl in No No, No, it's
it's still focusing on him because time for him to like, uh,
he's gotta like put screws in like tiny ass bags.

Speaker 3 (01:26:57):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:26:57):
And he finds it so fucking dull, and he goes.

Speaker 2 (01:27:00):
To, oh yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:27:03):
Ko, can you help me do my work faster? It's like,
oh yeah, sure, no problem.

Speaker 3 (01:27:07):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:27:08):
He sees everything going ten times faster.

Speaker 2 (01:27:13):
No oh no, no, no, no, no, ten times faster,
but everything seems like it's going ten times slower.

Speaker 3 (01:27:19):
So basically con is stuck in a reverse reality where
everybody around him sees him moving at a billion miles
an hour, and he's moving at like one one tillionth
of a second. So basically the spell is supposed to
last three days, but time is so slow for Kan Shan.
He is in this like perpetual like simulation of slowness

(01:27:41):
for thirty days, and he can't interact with nobody because
nobody can understand him. No one can like see him
or really do much. He's in and out eating constantly.
He eats every thirty minutes, but in that it's like
the equivalent of like five hours basically, so he's eating
five hours. He goes to sleep and he just looks
like dead. He looks like he's like overdose on something.
He's so fucked up. And at the end of the

(01:28:03):
the last day, he finally he practiced so hard he's
able to finally talk and walk normal, and he's like,
I practiced really hard to talk to you guys like this.
I'm talking so slow so you can understand me. And
he's walking like so and it's really like, Oh, he

(01:28:26):
finally adapted. And then the spare the spell wears off
and he gets hit with time lag. So now he's
back to normal, but he's still talking like this because
this is how he trained his body to talk.

Speaker 1 (01:28:44):
He's talking like ted after he got his stuffing mixed up.

Speaker 3 (01:28:51):
And that's where the episode ends. It is funny, It's great,
It is fucking funny. Which Watch is an absolutely watch.
It is an absolute watch. For those who aren't watching
which Watch, watch it. You'll have the fucking time of
your life watching it. All right, So since we're on
whitch Watch, let's move on to wind Breakers, since that's

(01:29:11):
the second one that I've watched, and this is another
one when I got off when I got off of
the podcast last week with Matt, I believe I had
seen the first four episodes of which watch by then,
because I watched it the day before, So I'm that
Monday before I watched four episodes of Sorry Windbreaker, and
I loved it, and I was like, oh, this is
gonna be great. Over the next week, I proceeded the

(01:29:33):
binge the other eight episodes of season one and all
up to nine episodes now I think it is or
eight episodes of season two, and it it really is.
It really does to your point to everything you guys
have been saying. It really brings out every single point
that was like that's missed in Tokyo Revengers. It's just

(01:29:53):
that the stakes in Windbreaker aren't as important. Yeah, they're
they're just they're just high schoolers fighting for the sake
of like, you know, freedom in essence. But it's nothing
like nobody's literally dying, right, So that is what it is.
But no, it's still fun as fuck. The fights are

(01:30:13):
all badasses fucked too.

Speaker 2 (01:30:15):
Their poreography is so fucking good. I was saying when
I was watching the newest episodes.

Speaker 3 (01:30:21):
It is. It is so fucking good. This is some
of the best hand to hand combat fighting that I've
probably seen in a long ass time in the anime
easily it is fucking great. But this week's episode is
pretty solid. I know we didn't catchre last week.

Speaker 2 (01:30:35):
Just wait, hold up, pull up. Before we go into
the major points of we get the elecant out of
the room. If anyone's gonna like question why why they're
letting a fucking high school boy dance on a stripper
pole in front of adult men and they're throwing singles
at him, so thank you.

Speaker 3 (01:30:53):
Because I'm like, he's a stripper, And Chris and I'm
sorry Matt and Sean are like, no, he's not. He's
not a stripper, Like he's just he's an adult and
like he's an entertainer, Like he's on a stripper paul
in like Dolly fucking like things on his wrist, and
he's pole dancing better than women. He's just buff. It's like, bro,

(01:31:17):
it's like watching like a buff female bodybuilder strip. The
only difference is he's not actually stripping, he's not taking
off close. He's just pulled dancing. But that's a stripper.

Speaker 1 (01:31:27):
That's a stripper.

Speaker 3 (01:31:29):
Yeah, and why I don't I mean, probably because he
can kick all their asses if they.

Speaker 2 (01:31:34):
Say no, they're both pretty like. I don't I don't
want to see him fight. First of all, I want
to see it.

Speaker 3 (01:31:43):
I do want to see that too. I'm hoping we
get that in the next episode, or at least episode
after that. In the next two episodes, we need to
see her fight him fight. They fight, and he's just
a cross dresser and he's just a him I know,
and we need to see him fight in the next
two episodes. It's a must. It's a must. But in
any case, yes, we see as we saw in the

(01:32:04):
previous episode, Subaki. Subaki is a pole dancer in the
red light district of this town, and they're all eating food,
they're having a good time. Everything's like going nice and dandy,
and basically the same Ruffians that came over, an entire
mob of them, is now outside of the red light

(01:32:26):
district and they're just causing fucking mayhem. And so originally
the chairman of the group was like, hey, everybody, stay here,
protect what's her face? The singer, Protect her and everything
will be all good. And then we see Sakara and
I forget the other guy's name. Now, fuck, let's say

(01:32:49):
love huh Suo, yes, Suo? And what's his face? The
other guy, Nira. They stand up and they're like, no,
we're going with you. Well we start, you know, it
started with us. We punch those guys, so we got
to be part of it. And so they go in
and they beat the shit out of these guys some more,
and it takes them a while, but they all kick

(01:33:10):
their ass. Knee Ray even fucking does something useful again,
like he's really solid, and then they're like, oh, we're clear.
And then now a whole thug, whole bunch of thugs
come over and they're like there's no end to them,
and he's like the thug is like the head thug
is like, no, we're not associated with those guys. Like basically,
somebody wants that girl. They paid one guy. He got

(01:33:33):
his ass kicked right and his group got his ass kicked.
You just kick these guys' ass. So every time you
kick somebody's ass, the price for this girl by whoever
wants her keeps going up. So we're mercenaries and we're
just gonna, you know, give you the option, give us
the girl. You guys can flee, and everybody wins. We
get what we want. You guys, don't get embarrassed because
we kicked your ass and that's fine and dandy, and

(01:33:56):
Soccer was like, nah fuck that son, let's go. And
then same thing with the chick terms like nah fuck
that sun, let's go, and basically they end up fighting,
and they basically were like, listen, we can lose. That's
fine and dandy. We will fight to the last man
if we lose. So what we lost the fight. We've
got some amazing bodyguards that are protecting the girl. So
even if you as the leader of the thugs, if

(01:34:18):
you're the only person that makes it, that's fine. We
did our job because we got other people that are
there and they're gonna kick your ass too, So let's
fucking go, bro. And basically that's where the episode end,
where everybody's about to square up in this fucking humongous battle.
So yeah, no, this is fucking solid too, super fucking solid.

(01:34:40):
I'm loving, loving the absolute shit out of it. Okay,
how many more do we have left? One? Two? Let
me see, we got shoshimin they go yere to Sha
Shamina fire force. Right. Let me see we talked witch
watch boy girl Takamine. Oh, we didn't do Apothecaries. Let's

(01:35:04):
do a pothcarries next apothecareys. Those three I talked about
by myself Windbreaker, calouon Summer pakast Social Med. Okay, yeah,
so we got three more all right, yea, let's go
with Apothecary's another interesting episode. I would say this.

Speaker 1 (01:35:19):
Week focuses on the village and yes they're connection with the.

Speaker 3 (01:35:26):
Kingdom, yes, and so we see more like day to
day stuff with with with may May and the other
woman Shame No, Shame is the villain at the end.

Speaker 1 (01:35:38):
She h it's uh.

Speaker 3 (01:35:43):
U su Ran, yes, Suran so Suiran and memee. You know,
they do like this fescial thing. It's nice, it's cute,
all that stuff, and they reinforce the fact that she's free,
but she's not really, she's still a hostage. And she
notices mal Mau notices a shed in the back corner
of the village and basically we have the boy there right,

(01:36:04):
the little brother of may May, and was like, hey,
what's with that shed? And homeboys like, oh, that's the
village elder's shed. And she's like, can I see what's
in the shed? And she's like he's like normally no,
but yeah, fucking screw it. I'll take you through my
secret spot so that I used to get out of homework.
And so they go through like the secret passageway to

(01:36:26):
get out of like the palace that's being guarded by
the guards, and they end up going to the shed.
And basically when they open the shed, she notices a
couple of things, right, because she was looking at the grass,
the grass like where the rice field is.

Speaker 2 (01:36:39):
You're you're you're you're skipping the festival that happens at
the end of what's important about.

Speaker 1 (01:36:47):
Uh, basically how uh it connects the fact that.

Speaker 2 (01:36:53):
The Fox village whether at uh yes, that's right, people
who were related to the mother royal.

Speaker 3 (01:37:01):
Ah, yes, so these this is the descendant village of
the emperor, yes, yes, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:37:10):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:37:11):
And how they have this uh, how they have this
burning ritual whatever where they uh burn mass that some
will have wishes on them in order to That's.

Speaker 3 (01:37:25):
Not really important. It's a nice thing important to the story.

Speaker 1 (01:37:29):
Yeah, but going back to your part, yeah, the second half.

Speaker 3 (01:37:34):
Yeah, the second half. No, but Chris brought up a
good point, thanking for that, Chris about the color blind
my mouse putting two and two together. That this is
the home like, the home like ancestral village of the
of the Emperor, right, And they mentioned in particular that
this color blindness came because of the fact in that
first part that Chris had mentioned, they mentioned that the
story behind the Fox Village, and basically the Fox Village

(01:37:55):
was a normal Chinese village and then Westerners came in,
and when the Westerners started intermingling with the with the
Chinese folks, the traits of the Westerners that prove that
they were color blind. And so anybody that is color
blind and essence in the village came from descendants of Westerners.
So you can deduce that the Emperor who is color
blind and those folks are all descendants of Westerners that

(01:38:18):
intermingled with the pure blooded Chinese. And so there's that part.
And now when we fast forward back to the shed,
they go into the shed because Mau Mau notices like, oh,
this is like because of the shade, it doesn't get
enough like proper sunlight, and because of the shed like
lights being on at night, it gets an unnatural amount
of unnatural light, and that causes the crops to not

(01:38:39):
grow properly and deduces that similar to when they made
the flowers bloom out of season for the festival in
season one, which was nice. But they go into the
shed and they, you know, just looking around, and there's
a cover, and there's a cover near there, and there's
some blueprints that are hung on the wall. And when
they reveal the cover, they notice faith Us and puts

(01:39:00):
two and two together and says, oh, this is where
they made the faifas. This village is connected to the Faithas.
This village is where they're trying to kill Jinshi and
do something with the emperor. And all of a sudden,
the shed gets some visitors and one of the visitors
is a woman. The woman cuts the fucking blinds basically

(01:39:20):
where Mamau and the boy are hiding, and we see
an attendant. We see the main villain with the Chinese villain.
Her name is she May, and another woman comes behind her,
and who's that woman?

Speaker 1 (01:39:34):
It's the one of the twins.

Speaker 3 (01:39:37):
It is one of the twins.

Speaker 1 (01:39:38):
It is one of the twin names.

Speaker 3 (01:39:40):
I think, yeah, so it's one of the Western twins
that came to the village to try and seduce the
emperor originally to as part of that like special envoy
like ceremony, festival thing that happened. I believe that happened
at the beginning of the season, do not. I think
that was a beginning. That wasn't the last season. That
was the beginning of the season.

Speaker 1 (01:40:02):
That was the beginning of this season.

Speaker 3 (01:40:03):
Yeah, that was back in winter. So yeah, so clearly
they're trying to kill the emperor. Mama does discover the truth.
Lord knows what's gonna happen to Mamau and the little boy. Now,
so that was hella solid from my perspective. This is
so good. I don't know how people can talk about
Apothecara diary diaries. It's so fucking good. All right, co

(01:40:27):
main events, CO, main event of the evening is gonna
be sho Chamine and boy have the steaks ramped up
in show Schamine, haven't they?

Speaker 2 (01:40:39):
Oh Man, Well, not really this episode, but like because
this episode just flashback, well or mostly a flashback.

Speaker 1 (01:40:49):
Mostly mostly.

Speaker 2 (01:40:52):
It's been like some time after the Arson's case. Uh
Os and I and Cobato are back.

Speaker 3 (01:40:59):
To tell the winter. I think because the Arson case
happened during it happened during the spring, did not.

Speaker 1 (01:41:07):
Yes, it's uh there in December it's during final during finals.

Speaker 3 (01:41:12):
Yeah, so it's during the winter. The episode starts off
with Colbato in the hospital in like severe like agony
and he's being like attended to in like emergency care,
and we find out are Coboto got hit by a car.
Coboto pushes Olsa and I down a hill to save
her and all her beloved Takoyaki got sucked up, but

(01:41:33):
she's alive, and Coboto got smashed by a car and
it was a hit and run. The car fucking sped
off after the fact, and Coboto's in and out of consciousness.
Colbato wakes up out of consciousness after he starts thinking
that you deserve this, this is everything you deserve. You'll
never get away with this, so clearly something in his
brain triggered like a memory, and he wakes up the

(01:41:54):
they're investigating to see who the writer was. Coboto ends
up later on the episode, wakes up to a note
from Mossa and I like going to show no mercy
to the driver, so that'll be fucking great.

Speaker 1 (01:42:03):
She's so fucking crazy.

Speaker 3 (01:42:07):
She's positively sinister at the stage. But no. The main
story for this is as Chris said, it's a major
flashback for the majority of the episode.

Speaker 2 (01:42:17):
What's his face shows how it shows the incident as
to why Kebato wants to be normal.

Speaker 1 (01:42:23):
Yeah, so it came similar to what he's going through
right now.

Speaker 3 (01:42:27):
Yeah, it's the exact same scenario. So ken Go visits
him and you know, they go over everything that happened,
and they start talking. They ask about Alsa and my son,
and then he's like, you know, I really wish I
could like apologize to this one kid and whose name
I'm forgetting, Hiraka Iraka. Yes, he's like, I wish I
could apologize to Hiraka and he's like, hi, Raka and

(01:42:50):
Cabotos like do you know him? And he's like, I
don't know him, but I know of him through passing.
They're like, oh it is, like where is he? What's
he doing? He's like, well, he's probably dead. He tried
to commit to a side, supposedly, and they're like no,
no fucking way, and he's like can you find out?
And he's like, I'd love to, but I've got entrance
exams and that's more important, so sorry to tell you.

(01:43:10):
And Cobato was like, all right, fuck it. It is
what it is. But then Cobato starts thinking about the
past and we come to find out with the flashback
story that he Raka was basically in the same scenario.
He got hit by a car and this was in
the third year of middle school, so right before they
entered high school. And Colbato is very creepy the way
that he overextends himself to try and solve the mystery.

Speaker 2 (01:43:32):
He is very He is very I can understand why
he wants to like pull himself back to from doing
this kind of thing.

Speaker 3 (01:43:41):
He is gong ho. He is over zealous as hell.
He is so like hit him and his creepy smile
that was highlighted by his ex girlfriend his export girlfriend
was full of full effect and basically takes it upon
himself to just try and solve the mystery. And he
basically come to find out like yeah, like the that

(01:44:03):
there are pieces of the mystery that are, you know,
not clear. There was one one witness who was a
second year and he was kind of withholding information, but
you know, they're just trying to get more information on
the car, what it looked like, trying to do speed
like all this stuff, and he's like his mind is going,
and one piece of information he finds out from the
student is that he he Rakaut was with a girl

(01:44:27):
and he pushed the same thing, pushed the girl down,
and when the student went over to rush, he was
trying to like, you know, call the cops, call an ambulance.
He rocket did all that on his own already, and
he was looking for the girl, and the girl basically
disappeared over like a levee or something because they were
near like the river, and it happened to be kind
of probably near a similar location where he got run over. No,

(01:44:47):
not similar, never mind, it was different. But in the case,
the girl disappears, and so it's Cabato's in the library
trying to find out information. The girl appears before him,
and he talks to the girl and he calls her like,
oh yeah, girl that almost got hit by a car,
and the girl's like, I have a name, Well, what's
your name? So Olsa and I is directly involved in

(01:45:09):
the Heiroka case and you and it's interesting because at
least in this like flashback, Heroka doesn't have any semblance
of like wanting to commit suicide like he and he
ended up with a a.

Speaker 2 (01:45:22):
Broken he tells, hey, don't look for into this. Tell
tell the classmates, like, just drop this. It was just
a freak accident. Don't don't, don't go any deeper.

Speaker 3 (01:45:35):
Okay, I'm Cobato. I'm weird. Not gonna happen, but no. Yeah,
he ends up with a broken wrist, and everyone's like, oh,
there's rumors like that, like, you know, you broke your leg,
You're never gonna be able to walk again. He's like, nah,
I just can't hold a rocket, so I can't perform
in the I can't perform in the summer the summer tournament.
It is what it is, you know. But I'm not
too beat up about it. I'll be fine, all good,

(01:45:57):
you know. And unlike Cobata, So Colboto ends up, by
the way with a concussion, a broken rib, and a
broken leg.

Speaker 1 (01:46:04):
Yeah, his his femur is like nailed together.

Speaker 3 (01:46:07):
Yeah, and his femur is nailed together. Basically, he had surgery.
He is not going to be in school for a while.
So he is posits and he's in pain.

Speaker 1 (01:46:15):
He's in legit and Kaka also has a busted rib.

Speaker 3 (01:46:19):
He also has a busted rib. Yeah, I didn't realize that.

Speaker 2 (01:46:24):
He's not near like when he laughs at something, Cabato said, uh,
he like grabs his uh side in pain.

Speaker 3 (01:46:33):
Yeah, And Coboto throughout the episode is in like severe pain.
He is he is hurting. That boy needs to be
on morphine. That boy, you know, that boy needs allotted?
Have you ever had allotted, Chris? Have I read what
ever had allotted?

Speaker 1 (01:46:48):
Nope?

Speaker 3 (01:46:49):
I speak wonders about this drug. If you ever got
forbid or in the hospital in severe pain and it's
severe enough Asfords allotted, you can only have it once
a week because it's so addictive, you can only have
it once a week in the hospital. It is ten
times more powerful than morphine. That shit is fabulous. It
is a fabulous ass drug with one hundred percent recommend

(01:47:10):
getting delatted at least once in a severe hospital stay.
It's the shit that they get cancervations when they're on
their last breath.

Speaker 1 (01:47:16):
Well, I will try not to have a severe hospital stay.

Speaker 3 (01:47:20):
It was great they gave it to me when I
got my gallbladder removed because I was in such pain.
It was tremendous. The amount of warmth and like calm
that goes to your mind before you pass the fuck out.
For eight hours. Great shit. It is great shit, but
in any case, solid episode of Shoshomin. Can't wait to

(01:47:41):
see how this progresses and see how much more creepy
Coboto and Os and I get in there in their time, Okay.
And then with that said, finally the only time probably
this season that we're gonna be able to close with
our finale, we are closing with episode nine of fire
Force season three. Chris, what you feel about Fire Force?

Speaker 1 (01:48:03):
Ah, It's really good. I really love it. Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:48:07):
I So I saw the first season when it came out,
didn't really like get into it. But then I was like,
I'm gonna give this another try because like the music,
the openings were pretty good and that usually gets me
hooked on shows.

Speaker 1 (01:48:20):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:48:22):
And I was like, Okay, this is fucking great, let's
fucking go. And then season three or uh then I
read the moment, was like, oh man, this is fucking crazy.
And then this fucking ending, what do you mean? This
is connected to something else? And then I'm fucking all
for uh seeing all this, all this ship being animated.

Speaker 3 (01:48:41):
I had been given that you should watch Sole Leader.
I think a sole Leader, right, yep, yep, yeah, you
should watch so Leader you shouldatch. I was like, I'll
get to it eventually, and then when somebody told me, yeah,
Sole Leader is basically the after a thing of Fire.

Speaker 1 (01:48:54):
Oh you got spoiled on it?

Speaker 3 (01:48:56):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:48:57):
Yeah, yeah, the Leader.

Speaker 3 (01:49:02):
Yeah. So I'm like, okay, now I definitely am going
to watch Sole Leader immediately after whenever the fuck fire
Force ends? How many more seasons of this do you
think we're gonna get ah.

Speaker 1 (01:49:13):
One more after this? You think there's not much left?

Speaker 3 (01:49:19):
Okay, I'm with it. And then as soon as that
is done, I will watch Sole Leader. How long a
Sole Leader a season? Maybe two?

Speaker 1 (01:49:26):
Two seasons?

Speaker 3 (01:49:27):
The two seasons? Okay, that's not bad. I will go
back and watch Sole Leader, and then I will complete
this this.

Speaker 2 (01:49:33):
And and then there's Soul Eater Not, which is a
side story about h that sort of takes place during
season Sole Leader. But it doesn't really have anything to
do with the story.

Speaker 3 (01:49:49):
So should I watch season one than the side story?
Then season two?

Speaker 1 (01:49:53):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:49:53):
Watch the first two seasons then, so Lead or Not
if you want to, it doesn't really have anything to
do with it.

Speaker 3 (01:49:59):
Okay, fair enough, fair enough. I'm I was worried that
you would say this is overright.

Speaker 1 (01:50:05):
Oh no, no, no, it's it's great.

Speaker 3 (01:50:08):
I love it. I love it. It's great. Up until
I saw Windbreaker, I was like, Oh, these are fucking
amazing battles, and then I saw wind Breaker and I
was like, I'm leaning more to win Breaker battles. Oh yeah,
but in any case, yeah, episode nine we pick up
where we left off because I did capture episode eight
the last time. We pick up with Ebana talking to
sister he Sumira and basically trying to run her down

(01:50:29):
on like, what like you basically poison the you poison
the other sisters with the idola bug right that you
turn them all into fucking infernals. And she's like, oh,
you know, you've always been smart. I'm glad you figured
that out right, And we basically come to find out
as they continue the battle, Sister fucking Sumira is badass

(01:50:49):
as fuck. She is badass as fuck. The reason why
she's badass as fuck, as we come to find out
later on, is she is one of the original Pillars.
She is over two hundred and fifty years old. She
is an original Pillar. She is out to cause the
Great Cataclysm, but basically she shows and it triggers Ebona
immensely shows that. She's like, why are you alive? You

(01:51:11):
shouldn't be alive, you shouldn't be here. And she's like,
I'm not the only one. She's like, I'll give you
a parting gift before you die, and she brings out
the infernals, and the infernals happened to be some of
the children that were part of that fucking explosion that happened,
and so she e Bona's pissed off. But we find
out some key key information from Sister Sumi Ray. Basically,

(01:51:32):
the information is that A she's a pillar. B when
all of the pillars are gathered and together and like
caused like they basically, when all the pillars are together,
they can cause the Great cataclysm. And of course the
eighth and final pillar is Shenra. So all the seven
other seven pillars for the most part are together, with
the exception of Senra and so and potentially show but

(01:51:57):
shows technically on their side for now. So Shinra is
the last pillar.

Speaker 1 (01:52:00):
If if there's one more, there's one more.

Speaker 2 (01:52:04):
Besides that, they haven't revealed who it is yet, ye okay,
so they hinted to it during like the fight with Dragon.

Speaker 1 (01:52:15):
But they didn't specifically say, oh, yes, this character is
also a pillar.

Speaker 3 (01:52:21):
Is he like the the guy that had the glasses? Who?

Speaker 1 (01:52:24):
Dragon?

Speaker 3 (01:52:25):
I thought there was another guy besides Dragon.

Speaker 2 (01:52:28):
No, no, no, Uh, some someone during the fight with dragons,
uh unlocked their pillar capabilities?

Speaker 3 (01:52:38):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (01:52:39):
And uh there's eight pillars in total.

Speaker 3 (01:52:43):
Someone in the battle with Dragon unlocked their pillar abilities.
Was it directly the battle with Dragon?

Speaker 1 (01:52:51):
Or was it was during the battle with Dragon when
when Dragon used the fire blast and almost killed everyone?

Speaker 3 (01:53:02):
No fucking way, Maki or to Maki.

Speaker 1 (01:53:10):
It's not. Oh no, sister, yes, oh no, are you serious?
She is the last killer? Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (01:53:23):
I mean it's a spoiler for those who they hate
it it they hate it to it's I wouldn't have
said the spoiler.

Speaker 3 (01:53:31):
Wow, sister's a pillar. That makes sense because then she
like she transported them. I think was it? Was it not?
Or does she away? Yes? Yes, that's wild, that's fucking crazy.
But in any case, uh. Yeah. So we find out

(01:53:52):
about the pillars. We find out that the principle of
of spontaneous combustion, which is why I named today's podcast
out of podcast Dappelgangers. I don't know if you noticed that, Chris.

Speaker 1 (01:54:03):
Oh, oh, yeah, it's great.

Speaker 3 (01:54:06):
We find out that the principle of spontaneous combustion is
basically as we know by now for those who keep
up with the fire Force lore, the Dappelgangers in Adela
are basically you in existence. It's a one for one
id match between the world human world and Adela. So
if you live there, you have an Audaalah Dappleganger. And
basically spontaneous combustion is when your Attola Dappelganger wants to

(01:54:30):
like fuse with your human. You obviously your human you
can't take that fire, and that's why you spontaneously combust right,
so and then that's how you and your doppelganger both die.
So we find out that that's the true mystery behind
spontaneous combustion. And then the final thing that we learn
did we learn something else? I think? Or was that it?

(01:54:52):
The Great Cataclysm is caused by the pillars. Sumire is
the seventh pillar.

Speaker 1 (01:54:59):
She's been around for two hundred and fifty years. Yes, Oh,
she's been using the.

Speaker 2 (01:55:12):
Sisters Uh and the Orphanage in order to like experiment, Yeah,
but that was yeah, yeah, to.

Speaker 1 (01:55:18):
Cultivate the.

Speaker 3 (01:55:21):
Combustion.

Speaker 2 (01:55:22):
Combustion happens when the the Adela versions or the Doppelgangers, Yeah,
try to come to our world and.

Speaker 3 (01:55:31):
Yeah, and so basically they mentioned that the great cataclysm
in essence is when the whole world of Adela tries
to fuse with the human world. That's what a great
cataclysm essentially is. And she she did mention also, she's like,
the previous Great Cataclysm didn't work the way we wanted
it to because there wasn't enough pillars at the time,
there wasn't enough firepower. Yeah, which is very interesting as well.

Speaker 2 (01:55:54):
I hope they show uh the her like backstory, Sumirri's backstory.
I want them to show Samir's backstory because you'll never
fucking understand comprehend what the fuck is going on like
I did when I read it.

Speaker 1 (01:56:10):
Oh man, what the fuck?

Speaker 3 (01:56:14):
Okay, well, we'll see. Basically, they're they're kind of doomed
if it wasn't for the fucking gravel kid that we attendee.
He busts them out. And Sumeri, like I said, is
bad ass. She uses the principle of shivering. She's so hot,
she's cold, and she basically can cause earthquakes and.

Speaker 2 (01:56:31):
Fucking she's using the property of cells moving fast to
create vibration.

Speaker 1 (01:56:38):
Yeah, like cells heating up and to create vibrations.

Speaker 3 (01:56:42):
And she's badass and they can't touch her right now,
they cannot touch her, and so they would be fucked
if it wasn't for gravel kuon gravel Kun bust them out.
They escape and sisters Sumeri Chat disappears back into the darkness,
but now her identity.

Speaker 1 (01:56:56):
Oh yeah. She also talks to a fucking like ghost
spirit inside the adela.

Speaker 3 (01:57:01):
And it seems that all of the all of the
the what's it called the pillars have some sort of
connected ghost spirit, right, yeah, or maybe unless she's like
you're that old.

Speaker 2 (01:57:13):
Well no, it's probably because she's that old and she
has a connection to like probably a previous pillar who
was tricked into doing this.

Speaker 1 (01:57:21):
And I don't know, Yeah, I don't remember much about
that ghost person.

Speaker 2 (01:57:29):
But uh, going into the rest of the episode, Uh,
betch quest, betch quest for Arthur. He needs to go
do a fetch quest for his imagination so he can
find or outcome, so you can make a better excaliver, and.

Speaker 3 (01:57:45):
So he can get off his saddle of the fact
that he didn't beat the dragon. Yep, I didn't give
a fuck about this part. I didn't give at this part.

Speaker 1 (01:57:53):
We're gonna get a good payoff next episode.

Speaker 3 (01:57:57):
I didn't give talk about this so much. I missed
the conversation basically between Benning, Marrow and Joker. They had
like trying to plan the next move in essence, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
and then that's about it.

Speaker 2 (01:58:08):
Yeah, Arthur, instead of going to where they were supposed
to go, which is back in the beginning of the quest,
he leads them into the sewers in order to try
and figure out in order to try and find their calcium.

Speaker 3 (01:58:22):
Yeah, the or talcum is basically a metal stronger than
the metal that he had, even though the medal he
had was basically some like car heat resistant carbon fiber
that you can buy at the at the home depot. Yeah,
so that was kind of funny. It's like, oh, this
is just made out of carbon fiber from home depot,
which you could never get carbon fiber and fucking home
depot in real life. Yeah, and carbon fiber coross an

(01:58:44):
arm and a leg. But this is anime and it's
a far away time, so makes sense that they would
just use carbon fiber at home depot and that's it.
I think that's it.

Speaker 2 (01:58:56):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:58:56):
Closing thoughts, Chris, good week. It was a pretty good week.
I really good watch. I need to watch all my shows.
I'm so behind it on so many shows, like I like.

Speaker 2 (01:59:07):
No, no, no no, like like like like for some
of my shows, I'm still on like episode four, like
for Apocalypse Hotel. Mmmm, yeah, I want to see because
Mirus finally fucking out. I want to at least see
like the episode or two to figure out what's going on,

(01:59:30):
Like what what this show is about?

Speaker 3 (01:59:32):
Mm hmm Okay, Well then you can watch that and
then talk about that next week when I'm not here. Yeah.
I really had a realization before we go. I had
a realization that really I was like, I have no
strong feelings about anything that's past, Like really, in my

(01:59:52):
top five six through thirteen, I have no real strong
connection to I could take them or leave them. I
only truly care about the top five. And I think
you guys can guess in terms of what my top
five is and what I like. I won't tell you
what order, but I think you can put two and
two together. Other than that, I was like everything this
season for the most part, except for number six. Number six.

(02:00:13):
Six onwards is not a chore. Seven downwards actually a lot.
There's one that's in that's not in the top six
that I don't find a chore. Everything else is a chore.
I find watching anime this season to be a chore.
So that sucks, but it is what it is. That's
my final thought. All right. But that said, we're gonna
go ahead and close up shop here at the top
