The Years next week. That might have been the dec
The Years next week. Yeah, it might have been a
decent one to do it on. But other than that,

new Facebook page with streaming.

Speaker 4 (03:29):

I eventually visited you one day, I gotta bring hiking boots.
Speaker 3 (03:35):

Speaker 4 (03:43):

Speaker 3 (03:45):
For the snow. Yeah, and I could.
Speaker 6 (03:47):
I could do like regular ones. It really depends on
the mountain we go to. Mm hmm, but uh that

Speaker 4 (03:56):
You gotta buy some, all right, that works all right, buddy.
Speaker 7 (04:00):

Speaker 6 (04:02):
We have we have a few shows talk about nothing,

photos because we're doing live coverage for on our Facebook
page for the winners for the staff live coverage next week.
Oh no, no, no, I'm only gonna do the I'm
just gonna do the winners or something yeah, like like
(04:24):
like like the actual winners, like if you want to
know the other stuff, like you gotta tune in.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
God, well, you know they're not mean, because I have
a whole fucking spreadsheet, right.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
Yeah, real quick. Let the grief is still retire?
Speaker 6 (04:36):
Is again a season two or a part two, whatever
you want to call it, because that green Soul cannot
retire sounds like an American to me.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
Yeah, it sounds more like a Japanese.
Speaker 6 (04:46):
That's fair, Uh, magic magical girl lyrical Nawaha is a
getting the anime production and finally Bleached part four, the
final part coming soon. I'm gonna assume by summer or
fall next week.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
It feels bittersweet, you know. And we're gonna talk about
the Bleach finale here shortly. But it seems a little
bittersweet in the grand scheme of things, given how it's been.
Speaker 6 (05:11):
Given how it's been. We got hopefully the final part.
I know, marthe said it's not good like how it ends,
but it was the other day with fans. Could change,
same things can change, but who knows. We'll find out
whenever that comes out. We'll get a released in sure,
and I believe we have a couple of reviews, not
(05:34):
a whole lot. A couple again, as I said.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
Couple, couple, of reviews, A couple of reviews.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
Exactly, So what do you have for us?
Speaker 4 (05:43):
Even?
Speaker 3 (05:44):
What do you have to finish off?
Speaker 4 (05:45):
I have two that I didn't finish last week for information.
Bloe My Bureau is not over yet, guys, however, to
catch up so I could be on this show, I
did not watch this past weeks. So no review on
bloom My Bureau this week. You'll get one next week
if Matt will allow me two minutes of time to
indulge the audience on Blue Me Bureau. But I've got to.
I've got to the first one is going to be uh,
(06:07):
the finale of gun Gale Online season two. Refresh my
screen so I can pull it up.
Speaker 8 (06:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
Oh, I didn't even write one. Ha ha, I didn't
even write my thoughts on it. That's how like how
blend it ended? Really? I thought I wrote my thoughts,
but I didn't really write my thought No, I mean,
there's not really a lot to really say when it's
all said and done. Actually, basically, what's it called? What's
her face comes? Damn? I forget her name? Now that's again?
How how oh she grained herself in my heart? Len?
(06:39):
There we go? Len?
Speaker 3 (06:40):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (06:40):
Basically kills herself as the as the PENULTI episode, and
did she kills herself because she remembers, Hey, this is
a video game. I've got lives. I'm not gonna die
in real life. This isn't the this isn't sort of online.
This is gun gel online. So I'm good. So she
kills herself, she comes back. They devise a plan, and
when all their powers combined, they managed to defeat the NPCs,
(07:03):
and the persons that killed the most people of the
NPCs was Len and her team, so they win the
overarching prize and basically it's it. That's pretty much the
majority of the episode. The only other keynote for the
episode is who the NPCs were. So the NPCs, as
(07:23):
I had deduced on air to you last week, they
are not part of Alice. The NPCs were actual players.
The only difference is these players were like PTSD combat veterans,
and they've all been part of like secret ops missions
and shit to you know, in real life. And so
(07:44):
that's why they were so coordinated and good with the game.
They're able to adapt really quickly. And in the final scene,
basically Len causes the NPC, who, again, as we said,
is a real person to have a whole like panic
attack as he's about to die, and they go into
they go in depth on that, and basically they tell
(08:04):
the guy he's been on I don't know how many
tens of dozens of missions, he's never lost the comrade,
he's killed hundreds of people, and he's always returned without
a scratch. And in this video game, under real life circumstances,
he basically gets killed by a little girl in pink.
And it's not the fact that he gets killed by
(08:24):
a little girl in pink, but it's the principle that
for the first time in his life he experienced the
fear of death. Even though knowing he wasn't gonna die,
he still experienced that panic, that fear, that reality. And
when he wakes up, he sees the footage and he
starts freaking out again, and basically his comrade, who is
one of the NPCs, looks to him, He's like, do
you want to go back to that life, and he says, no,
(08:46):
I don't want to go back to that life like that.
I'm done with that. I can't go back. So basically,
Len single handedly like caused like this fucking mercenary to
be like, no, I'm good. I don't want to be
doing all these things anymore. I'm good, which I thought
was really interesting from that perspective. And like I said,
everything else about the show is very unnoteworthy. So much
(09:08):
like my review that I gave that I haven't posted yet,
I haven't post you know something, Matt, I haven't posted
any of my twenty twenty four reviews period online. I've
got forty one pages and counting of reviews. Oh shit,
that I have not posted. I've got to figure out
how to post. But yeah, in any case, like I
had written in about season one when I binged it,
(09:28):
you know, if you're looking for a sort art online
like legit like alternative, you really thought like it was
gonna be that it. It's not that you're not gonna
get You're not gonna get that at all. Right, if
you don't watch this show as a sort art online enthusiast,
I can't say you're missing a lot. But at the
same time, for the completionist in you like, it's worth
(09:50):
a watch. It's not egre. Just you're not gonna be
insulted watching it. But it's not anything really like sort
or online. The uh, the characters don't have as much
app The story is very middling from that perspective. Again,
there's no real legitimate weights to it. It's just cool
action and it puts you immerses you in that like
(10:13):
full dive, like you know, virtual reality world, which, as
we know in today's society, is coming into play more
and more and more. So, like I said, it's not
a bad watch. I don't regret watching it. It's just
not gonna win anything for me. So I gave it
a three point twenty five. Yeah, I gave it a
three point two five. And the series as a whole
(10:34):
both seasons, season one, season two, and you know, over
parching three point two five.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
So it is.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
And of course my fucking height alerts my family's family
fantasy football chat is going off. Yeah I needed it.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
I needed it.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
Uh Okay, moving on next one. The second one I
have is Yakuza Fiance. I love Yakuza Fiance. The Yakuza
Fiance was so fun. Basically to end this season, in particular,
we see Kirishima get the silent treatment because of his
actions the previous week with fighting what's his face? Whose name?
(11:15):
I'm forgetting showma? Right, So he gets the silent treatment,
and for three days, he's like trying his best. He's
like cooking cakes, He's like trying to give her food.
He's trying to like buy her stuff, like just do
anything to get hurt, to get Yoshino to talk to her,
and she just doesn't do it, doesn't do it, doesn't
do it. And eventually, basically she starts a timer. Right,
(11:38):
she starts a timer, and it's like, what time is
it now? When they arrive back to Tokyo, he's like
seven pm. He's like it's a little early, but that'll suffice.
That's when the silent treatment starts. At six fifty seven.
She opens her door, it's pouring rain. Three days later,
and she's like, yeah, that's three minutes early, but I'll
talk to you again, right, And like they start having
like this conversation basically, and they are like, you know,
(12:01):
like Yoshino asks like what does a boyfriend? Like what
does a girlfriend boyfriend? What does this do?
Speaker 2 (12:05):
Right?
Speaker 4 (12:06):
And they like hold hands and like it's actually a
really cute scene. Like they hold hands. They like they correct,
like he caresses her hands. They comment on how soft
and how hard each other's hands are, and then uh,
Yoshino comments that Karashima's hands are dry, and she gives
him some hand cream, and so then he seductively rubs
(12:27):
the hand cream over Yoshino's hands so we can rub
it on his hand, and then proceeds to lick the hand,
and this freaks Yoshio the fuck out. It's like, what
the fuck are you doing? And he's like, it looked
like cream. It looked edit, it looks edible, but it's
not edible. It's hand lotion. And he's like, She's like,
you fucking creep, Get the fuck we got?
Speaker 3 (12:47):
We got a question. We got a question. Dark Elf,
come the springtime.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
I don't think I am Matt. I, depending.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
On my watch schedule, might give it the free episode rule. Okay,
I want to steve it's gonna be an actual dark
Yonderry thing like Happy Sugar Life, or is this gonna
be another generic rom com haram in a modern society.
So I need to know, so I will give it
the free episode who it might surprise me?
Speaker 7 (13:16):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
We shall find out in a couple of weeks.
Speaker 6 (13:19):
Is that well it's not that word. It's in April,
so ah, okay, springtime Spring I continue.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
Sorry, yeah, so she could get skipped the fuck out
slaps him in the face and that's that, and so
it's a cute moment between them, and the rest of
the episode honestly does a decent job. It actually does.
It does a decent job. And the only reasonhy I
didn't say did a great job is because, as you
might have seen in the chat Matt when me and
Starman we're talking about it, they the show creates a
(13:48):
lot of build up for an eventual season two, assuming
that this gets right, I imagine it will, but they
put too much emphasis on the on the build up.
They did a lot of drama, a lot of like
a lot of giving you a lot for a cliffhanger, right,
and I felt that it was literally a little bit
too much. Basically, the episode starts off or sorry, the
(14:11):
end of the episode, I should say, it starts off
with with Yoshino getting a call from Shoma because she
sees the news and sees that somebody slammed into one
of their offices right with a car, just ran the
fucking truck into the into the office. So she was
trying to get more details, trying to find out if
Shomo was okay because he wasn't answering his phone for
a couple of days or whatever the case was, and
they're like basically kind of trying to blow it over, like, Yeah,
(14:33):
this is gonna blow over, This is gonna blow over.
In the interim though, he mentions that her grandfather has
been really busy, and the grandfather goes to the head
of the families, right, the head of the whole Yakuza
operation in Osaka. He and another member of one of
the families, and you know, basically that other guy gets
chewed out and the grandfather is chilling, but the grandfather's
(14:55):
being nice, you know, he's being his typical like jovial
self with the guy, and the guy is not having it.
And so we find out after Yoshino's grandfather leaves that
that guy is in kahoots with somebody else that's working
with the Yakuza to basically try and kill Yoshino's grandfather,
and so they're starting a chain of events to really
(15:15):
do those type of things.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
And so.
Speaker 4 (15:20):
There's that, and then basically we get the credits and
in an after credits scene, right we get Yoshino, she's
in her house and we see Karashima come back from
doing whatever Yakuza Dods's doing. He brings her a cake
and sees Yoshino laying on the ground. He immediately freaks out,
drops the cake, runs over to her and sees she's
(15:40):
only taking a nap, like she aired out a futon
and she's just taking a nap on her futan, And
we get another cute scene with them that basically like
she they're holding hands, he's staring at her sleep, he
puts his coat over her, really really cute stuff. And
as he's basically cuddling with her creepily staring at her
while she sleeps, her phone is ringing and Shoma Shoma's
(16:01):
on his bike on the road trying to call Yoshino,
and Yoshino does an answer because she's asleep with Karshima,
and so this pisses off Shoma. Shomah puts his phone away,
puts his helmet on, speeds off into wherever he's going,
and that's where the series ends. So a lot of drama,
a lot of builds up, a lot of a cliffhanger,
(16:21):
but I felt it was literally maybe a little bit
too much right, specifically the last part with Shoma calling
getting pissed off and speeding off. I felt that that
was literally a little bit too much. He gave us
enough with the whole story of how season two is
going to focus on Yoshino's grandfather being in danger by
the other yakuza. But you know, you could have left
us on a little bit of a high of Karrishmo,
(16:43):
even though he was being a little creepy, being really
sweet and kind to Yoshino who's asleep. But in any case,
I still enjoyed it. I still got a good kicks
out of it. I'd say this was a really, really
fun show, and I'll talk more about it as we
get into my top nine. But as a whole, I think,
what did I give it?
Speaker 2 (17:02):
On a list?
Speaker 4 (17:03):
I gave it, give it a three. If I'm realistically
speaking due to my enjoyment level, I'm gonna say I
gave it about a three point seventy five. I get
it at three point seven five. Okay, So thoroughly enjoyed it.
Look forward to a season two and I'll talk more
about why I enjoyed it so much when we get
to the top ten.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
Alright, is that any ass for you?
Speaker 4 (17:25):
That's it for me? Buddy?
Speaker 3 (17:27):
Oh shit?
Speaker 4 (17:27):
Well?
Speaker 3 (17:28):
Fuck?
Speaker 4 (17:28):
All right? Yep.
Speaker 6 (17:30):
That means I gotta be ready. Sawees, It's all right,
it's all right. I'm going to do we all I
got too, So I'm gonna do some goka yoko.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
Uh you know how I said. It ended with like
this big explosion. You see Senya and Jinka fall into
the ground.
Speaker 4 (17:45):
Yep, big boom.
Speaker 6 (17:46):
Okay, So this episode starts like it's already days later.
They're like they're up, They're okay.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
It's fine.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
That's a shitty way to end it was.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
It was.
Speaker 3 (17:57):
It was a weird transition. Now is my only could
play the this episode?
Speaker 6 (18:02):
I was like, well, okay, but since the adventure EF
it's done, everyone's gonna go their separate ways.
Speaker 9 (18:08):
Uh.
Speaker 6 (18:09):
Tama and Jinka are gonna go back to their old home.
Shinsk and Shakiyaka they're still gonna stay in this village,
and Senya and Tukiko are gonna.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
Drop off the water spirit now back to to his home,
and then they're gonna figure out what they're gonna do.
Speaker 4 (18:25):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
So everyone says goodbye and everything, but Shinsky is like,
I have one more thing to do. I can't be
right back like b r B. He sees all man
Yazen and it reiately starts to try to kill.
Speaker 6 (18:39):
Him because he's mad, like like, nope, you're not gonna
experiment on kawaras anymore.
Speaker 3 (18:46):
So he does a technique with the magic sword slices
him like I and arm are gone. Sink looks Shinske
sees that he's dead, but he's not. He's not He's
not dead of course. Uh Tama's mother who accompanies yaz
and used a use like a decoy type of thing
(19:08):
to make him escape at the cost of again his
eye and his arm. But he can't do his experiments
anymore because of this line and half yeah, and he
actually says to uh Kuzanaha like I'm sorry, I can't
help her become human. So that was why he was
doing this, to make her not become a karara anymore.
(19:30):
So she's like, you know what, it's okay.
Speaker 6 (19:31):
I'll still be by your side till the end of
the end of your life comes because she because she
loves them, so.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
She just case parts done. Uh Sanya Sukiko.
Speaker 6 (19:41):
They drop off now back to his home and then
they said they're goodbyes, and Sanya decides to just stay
in the village. With Senya and Sukiko that basically they
can have a life together. So there's there'll be various
time skips. She this case now dead he died of
(20:01):
old age and Sanya they have a kid, and eventually
Sukiko passes away all day, Uh Senya does.
Speaker 10 (20:13):
Not really he's immortal, right, can't be human?
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (20:18):
So so yeah, he guess. But now that she is gone,
he could actually Now he can wander the world. He
can wander around.
Speaker 6 (20:27):
That he was only staying until TiKKO is gone. And
now that he's gone, can you can do whatever? Are
basically basically a prey a prey.
Speaker 4 (20:37):
He God, Almighty, I'm free at last, Yes, thank.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
God, all made.
Speaker 6 (20:41):
But anywhoes wander around? We seectly faces Jinka, who is
now at full kawara. He as he's in this fox
former times. He's paying them a visit, gives Mudo a
visit shot, the Yaku passes on, kid passes on, and
(21:04):
near the end, uh, Senya goes to a familiar face.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
So who lives in like in the ice mountain type
of thing, and but Senya, Jinka and Mudo are the ones.
Speaker 6 (21:16):
They basically they basically protect the world now like they're
like the guards, Like there's any threats, they take care
of it.
Speaker 4 (21:22):
So they're the fighters. But they're the fighters, I mean
in essence short.
Speaker 6 (21:28):
But with with like another fret com small Fred. But
you see mudo junka and say they are getting ready
to fight it. And that was that was where the
serizens nice. I get a four, mostly due to the
consistence of how they've been for the for this set
of for the like, for these for these two cores,
(21:49):
they've been consistent.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Sure you know what you get what I got. The
action was fun.
Speaker 6 (21:56):
H could could not be better obviously, of course it
happens almost almost every show. But I got say that's
why with these overall, all these thirty seven.
Speaker 4 (22:05):
Episodes, thirty seven episodes.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
Well actually no, actually no thirty five. I'm sorry, thirty
five episode.
Speaker 6 (22:12):
It was originally thirty seven, but it turns to thirty five,
so maybe maybe could have gotten one more.
Speaker 3 (22:19):
But it's all right.
Speaker 6 (22:21):
And finally for me, Blue Lock season two, this was
two episodes. I'm not gonna go in death und on
both of the episodes. Basically it's still the game. It's
still like the final stretch of the game is still tied.
Three to three, and Wren is the one that's getting
pissed off because everyone there's all all the other players
in block. They're growing their evolvement as the game progresses,
(22:44):
and Rin is technically the number one in blue lock
and now he's thinking like are they catching up to me?
Or basically they fell like is he gonna get left
behind now because they're keeping up with him?
Speaker 3 (22:56):
It's like no, like nope, this I inn like that.
They now fuck that. I am gonna be a striker
that means on my own. So basically he got to
the point where, yeah, he starts going crazy because he
wants to be the best and he wants to finally
show off against his brother, which is really not working.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
You know realistically in real soccer people hate those type
of people.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
Oh yeah, I'm sure.
Speaker 6 (23:17):
And actually during this the Wren got kicked in the
head by by She though during like you gotta be
got he got kicked in the heads? Like how is
that now a yellow cards? Like, oh, it's an accident.
It's like it was an accident, still.
Speaker 4 (23:30):
A yellow card for reckless? Reckless?
Speaker 2 (23:32):
Uh yeah, but I was like that that.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
That with how he kicked him, Like how hard it
looked like he kicked him, like, that's a fucking concussion.
Speaker 4 (23:40):
It's anime, nothing matters, right, Matt, that's a figure skater.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
Blade to the throat doesn't kill you, right yeah?
Speaker 6 (23:47):
Well well yeah, well and Demon Slayer those breathing techniques,
we don't actually they don't actually have those.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
There's no wind, there's no water, there's no fire like
we're see but.
Speaker 4 (23:56):
In the actual planet, how dare you? Yes?
Speaker 3 (23:59):
Yes, but uh and when.
Speaker 6 (24:02):
They're actually fighting with the sores and those aren't come out.
It's just them with the swords, no cool visual effects,
so we we see the over the top shap while
everyone else just looks normal in their worlds completely So basically,
ring us the ball, he even like even away from
(24:24):
his teammates, saying basically, fuck you, go die all of you.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
I'll murder anyone in my path.
Speaker 6 (24:33):
He goes for this kick and rejected, did not go
in the goal, and his brother looks at and say, like.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
You're fucking pathetic.
Speaker 4 (24:42):
You're track guys like you had not learned.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
Ship head, did you.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
It's not.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
They try to get a goal, fails, and we're at
we're at the final minute, so all of a sudden,
it turns to this wide screen two D type of thing.
Randon say, right in front of each other. The animation
wart it's fucking great.
Speaker 6 (25:04):
The passing, all this going around, it's just domb now,
like back and forth, back and forth. Well one tried
failing to get fail to get to them, and when
say was trying to get that kick, Rin's foot got
out to have the ball changed course, like what the fuck?
But and then fucking the captain of you twenty, Oliver,
(25:26):
he sees it, It's like it's coming towards him. I'm
going to get it, but he sucky got to his
blind spot and got the goal. He kicked the winning
goal and Blue Lock won like that. The whole final
minute are so sequen. That was just fantastic. And then
all the fans like they were getting so into it, like,
(25:47):
holy shit, you twenty loss. But you know what, then
these guys are good, these kids, like holy.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
Fucked don't matter. They got a disband now, uh no.
Speaker 3 (25:54):
The actually don't disband of course, no, yeah, but basically
now like instead of you twenty, when the games could
be the block team playing his games, walking in the blue.
Speaker 6 (26:02):
Block program and he said he's interviewed basically what where, like,
what's the goal for this fucking thing? But he's like
he reflects on his grow from the thing and then
he says, we're gonna win the World Cup. Well no,
but and then I want again there say a good
match the game and all this, and uh, Ego Jim
(26:24):
Patti here he's still shots like, holy shit, they actually
want this. But now that he's like, hey, now you
had now you see the results of my program, do
you guys invest now? And all these guys like yeah,
we're gonna invest. They'll go bye bye bye, and Ego
congratulates everyone saying congrass. But it'll just target because basically,
(26:45):
if you guys full up, now, everything that we've been
doing has been for nothing. So the real work begins
during this. So we don't know what the next step
is gonna be. I think it's gonna be like the
Neo Ego arc. I forgot the name of the what
the name of the arc is called? Uh, they're they're
in the locker room. Isagi looks at Rint. He says like,
you're trash. No, no, no, He even says like you
(27:09):
helped me out there, like you're why I was able
to score that goal because I've been in sync with
your movements.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
So it's a goal for both of us.
Speaker 6 (27:16):
Because Rin's mad because he didn't get to win, and
Asaki was leaving.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
Rinn says, shut up, go die.
Speaker 6 (27:23):
From now on, you're my rival, so that means I'm
coming after you during the I'm going to make sure
you're gone and I'm the winner, and and goes understood,
because you know, the only one that can win is like,
I'm not giving up now. I'm not leaving now, I
especially with how much I've improved, So fuck you. And
(27:45):
then there's a certain phone call too. I don't know,
I forgot the guy's name. And also also we got
to return uh Kubiaki, who got kicked out in the
season one. At the end of season one, he came back.
We don't know what his role is, so I'm curious
to see that.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
And yeah, then on the cliffhanger, and I cannot wait
till whenever there's a season for announcement.
Speaker 6 (28:08):
I gave it three and three quarter before those last
few episodes, it was just straight up three. Like I said,
everything was good except.
Speaker 3 (28:21):
For the studio given a give them a shitty schedule
and making them released it faster.
Speaker 6 (28:29):
So yeah, I know people have said budget like, it
wasn't more of that. It was more of the schedule
issue from the studio. So this just take their time
next time. That's it, indefinite hiatus. Like I said, everything
else was fine.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
It was just not that.
Speaker 6 (28:44):
So that was the only thing that held it back.
If that was not the case, I probably would have
given it a four and a quarter. But but yeah,
that was different finales and one thing I had was
link Cliff came back surprisingly out of nowhere, and the
first episode was hour five minutes.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
It wasn't a season three. It's actually not a season three.
It's more like a side thing. But it's basically, well
it's not that it's an episode. It's basically how the
timeline where Chen Jayoshi actually got killed and Luan Sin
Luan had his power because he died, it's him going back.
(29:22):
It basically saw how he prevented him from dying, like
like what made him cause that taboo?
Speaker 6 (29:28):
What do you do to make that taboo happen? He's
been preaching so very good so far. The first five
minutes of it was int test. Basically, it wasn't Red Eyes.
It was someone else that came in with a gun
and shot almost everyone there, Like the girl died, Check
(29:48):
got shot saving Luwan.
Speaker 3 (29:51):
It's like, holy fucks. And like the rest of it
was basically how that group started, like how Lukewan met
jagging all this, like that's how far he went.
Speaker 4 (30:00):
He went back in time, so it was more.
Speaker 3 (30:02):
Than so we're getting a little bit of a background
on how they became, where the how they were. So
I like it for that. All right, now let's do
now store togethers. You want to talk about Tower of God.
Speaker 4 (30:16):
No, I want to talk about fucking forbidden deduction stirs,
because Tower of God was better than fucking forbidden deductions.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
Okay, fair, fair, Um it was weird. I will say basically, okay,
this is gonna be really fucking quick.
Speaker 6 (30:28):
It was basically Toto calling out Dan's lion yep, and
we got the whole reveal of what happened. Basically the
whole meteor of type wasn't supposed to be a murder
type it. It was supposed to be a kidnapping for
them to get money.
Speaker 4 (30:42):
No, it's the kidnapping for them to well, they'll get
money because they're gonna divise fucking a bunch of pathological
weapons that will destroy the world. Alright, he's secretly alive
and that's why we had COVID.
Speaker 3 (30:54):
So he's he's a culprit.
Speaker 4 (30:57):
He's the he's the fucker he sent that ship to
China and frame China.
Speaker 3 (31:03):
Yep. And so fucking dad here's like, well, can't I
go back now? He grasps the.
Speaker 6 (31:11):
Said, well, I'm gonna go shoot everybody. Pe poo po
glass a glass glass drops and that triggered fucking wrong
half episode.
Speaker 4 (31:21):
But he was triggered half the episode. Yeah, so he
was in like half seizure, moldy happy yea.
Speaker 3 (31:27):
Yeah, but this one was like, oh this, oh, this
one has really done it. You've done it now, don
dun dun. Yeah. So basically, yeah, yeah, my dad wasn't
a bad guy. I mean, he's a bad guy, but
not a bad guy.
Speaker 4 (31:40):
I didn't mind that. It was it's not out sideways,
but I didn't mind it.
Speaker 3 (31:44):
The way they get it was just how they did it. Yeah,
I was like, sure, why why not? And now Ron
like remembers fully everything, and of course we have the bear,
the little bear, the little stuff bearf it was Murray
(32:04):
already watching everything from Afar.
Speaker 4 (32:06):
That pissed me off.
Speaker 3 (32:08):
I'm like, okay, why not, okay, con evil con whatever
whatever you call it.
Speaker 4 (32:14):
It's like, where did she get the bear? Oh, she
just coincidentally had a bear.
Speaker 3 (32:18):
We found it, we found it. It's so cute.
Speaker 4 (32:21):
Is she four?
Speaker 3 (32:24):
Well seventeen? But yes, okay, I know, but still they say, hey,
you want a pair.
Speaker 4 (32:31):
It's a good bear. I don't think she might events
like character.
Speaker 6 (32:36):
And it's like, well, you know, you know our secret
and all this. You guys are still gonna die here,
so you know, even if you did, even if.
Speaker 3 (32:45):
You did die, who gives a ship?
Speaker 4 (32:48):
Basically I don't yep.
Speaker 3 (32:51):
And so I got Bob's around.
Speaker 2 (32:55):
Yeah, burn this.
Speaker 4 (32:57):
We don't need no fire. Let that mother got burned, burned.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
Yep.
Speaker 6 (33:03):
So as the people running, dad just shoots the chef
and the pitt pocketer yeah, the security lady.
Speaker 4 (33:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:12):
I'm like, okay, hey, at.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
Least he fired the gun. Pissed me off because he
was aiming the gun and having this conversation with like
fitsy mins. He could have just killed everybody and that
would have been the show. That would have been the end.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
Yeah, it would have been okay, so but they got
You know, if I was that chef, that innocent chef,
I would I want to raise.
Speaker 4 (33:33):
Hey, everything wrong. I thought it was a chef the
whole time, chef whom proved me wrong.
Speaker 6 (33:39):
So everyone was an apology yes and some money yeah
and no. He also needs a raise because it was like,
what the fuck?
Speaker 4 (33:49):
Maybe he'll wait for homeg to turn eighteen. That'll be
her prize.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
So he's he's just here to make the food and nothing.
I I'm here to get paid.
Speaker 6 (34:00):
But Toto, he goes in the Drucke run because he
snapped out of his fing yep, and he's like, well
that's it for me.
Speaker 3 (34:07):
We're goners. There's no way out.
Speaker 4 (34:09):
That piss off.
Speaker 3 (34:10):
I'm like that that that means, that means someone's coming,
of course, But who.
Speaker 4 (34:16):
Was that person?
Speaker 3 (34:16):
Matt uh, the guy that keep neglected Spitz spitch sweets.
Speaker 6 (34:27):
They lead this guy out intentionally for all this stuff.
He's there to help him, Like, no, don't help him.
Speaker 4 (34:33):
I know for real, they should ask it spits help
us nine, So like, oh, now you want my help.
He's that friend. He's that person in school that like
you constantly ignored. But then like would still be around,
so you couldn't like like, all right, fine, come.
Speaker 3 (34:48):
Along, like all right, come on stop it.
Speaker 4 (34:51):
That was that guy, That was that guy in school.
Speaker 3 (34:55):
Yeah, and yep, they're back home. Everything's fine. Also, there's
spy in blue.
Speaker 4 (35:01):
No spy in what's it called in n No that
that there.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
Was an insider mole in blue? Is there a Yeah,
that was given and that was given more reality information.
Speaker 4 (35:13):
I didn't realize that.
Speaker 3 (35:14):
I wonder who that is. We'll say it's watch spins,
Like why you did invite me?
Speaker 4 (35:21):
I would that would suit the show and it would
be funny and stupid at the same time.
Speaker 3 (35:27):
Yeah, like Ron being mad at his dad, but still
look at the picture happy, right. I gave it a
three a flat quarter.
Speaker 4 (35:37):
Give it a flat three?
Speaker 3 (35:39):
Yeah, like three in a quarter quarter. Okay, I would have,
but only the first case and half of the last
case for the ones, Like if this ended.
Speaker 4 (35:51):
A lot better, I would have given the three point seventy.
Speaker 3 (35:54):
I would have given it three and a half. I
didn't care about the middle ship. I really didn't.
Speaker 4 (35:58):
It was okay, it didn't It's just you know, it
was there. It wasn't insulting, but that it was just
there like, yeah morew we need more hawm.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
So hopefully we didn't get a season prey announcement, but
we'll see if it happened.
Speaker 4 (36:12):
I just want them to find out that Toto is
a liar, right, although too finally showed it he has
he has a brain. He deduced that it was a lie.
Speaker 2 (36:20):
You know.
Speaker 4 (36:21):
That was good.
Speaker 3 (36:22):
So there we go for that. Not a finale, but
real quick dragon Ball diamon two things happened two only
only two things happen? Uh do beat Toma?
Speaker 6 (36:34):
Thoma got me one finally m hm, and they got
the dragon Ball and the fucking Emperor was like, what
the fuck?
Speaker 3 (36:39):
Why is oriit?
Speaker 2 (36:40):
There?
Speaker 3 (36:40):
Watched to getting dragon Ball. Oh baby, it's babies will
help us. It was like, and the other one Virgina
turn Super saying three at ten years old. At ten
years old, we will never see that form again after
this arc. It's a useless form.
Speaker 4 (37:03):
You would think like Super saying three should be like
if they're up to like Super saying god an Ultra
instinct and Ultra destruction. Yeah, you would think that they're
base super saying it should be Super saying three.
Speaker 6 (37:13):
As a thing with Super Saiyan three. It takes a
way too much key to maintain it, and Goku never
perfected it. I mean it probably would work for Vegeta,
but they have god kenas games.
Speaker 3 (37:23):
The fuck. It's just it's just super saying three. It's
just been a waste. This is the this is the
only time cdically that it won something that's true. It's
fucking Vegeta that did it good? And he guess the
dragon ball that's it, okay.
Speaker 4 (37:40):
And what was the problem he solved? What were the
problem both of them solved?
Speaker 3 (37:45):
For for Ku, sorry for do it's a add up
all these numbers that covers like one, three, twenty one
hundred billions, like almost millions. Yeah, and they had had
to add all that together. I was just like, what
that's impossible. Uh, dude didn't get it. But Coup whispered it.
You heard it and due numbers like a correct correct
(38:10):
and CU's like, ay, you like to have it helps,
Like you didn't help. It's like you know what, give
give it the man credit to have it, give Coo credits.
Speaker 4 (38:17):
Why doesn't dude just eat Coo? And then we get
Doku Maian Dooku my count Doo Majan Doku it was
I was annoyed to when it was like, I want
he stopped mid battle, I want chocolate. I'm like, I
want you to get the fuck off my screens. What
the funk I want? That's what I said, literally, I
said that out loud. I want chocolate. I want you
(38:37):
to get the fuck off my television already.
Speaker 6 (38:39):
But Regina, he had to listen to. Oh if he
came in with this with like he had these Buffins
and Team Muffins, all.
Speaker 4 (38:47):
This was easy. The answer was it was zero because
he gave them all away. That was the end of
the story.
Speaker 6 (38:54):
Yeah, no, no, no, he said that the snake was
the person that the person's name was. Who did the
snake didn't.
Speaker 4 (39:00):
Have any how many did the snake none because he
gave him all the way.
Speaker 6 (39:04):
No, no, snak was the last person because he thought
perfect because he thought we thought it was the guy
in the beginning, the guy to begin that wasn't him
because when he when he's going to give the snake muffins.
Speaker 3 (39:16):
He didn't have any. So the Muffins regards, they got nothing.
So that was them get it and they got their
dragon balls. Everyone Team Goku has two, Uhku has one. Yep,
and that was that was it.
Speaker 4 (39:33):
In effect, by the way, that was a dick for like,
oh he likes to fight too, let's make it harder.
Goku got the easy one, almost died like four times
in that fucking like art alone.
Speaker 3 (39:44):
But uh, that was what happened.
Speaker 4 (39:46):
Like cool, I guess what would you rate the first half?
H three the quarter I'm about yeah, I'm about three quarter.
Speaker 3 (39:53):
I get the ideas are there. I don't like how
some of the characters.
Speaker 11 (39:57):
It's I like the Mudgins more than Goku, Like I
care about the bodges, like Kutz has happened to be there.
Speaker 3 (40:08):
Dude's just doing his job. Arons is hot, and Goku's
I feel like he learned nothing, like like, yeah, he
reverted to his age physically, but you shouldn't make that
way mentally either.
Speaker 4 (40:20):
He's always been mentally that way. He's just worse now.
Speaker 3 (40:23):
Yeah, he like he got worse.
Speaker 6 (40:24):
It's like this sells like I'm I'm with you three
quarter but uh but yeah, also real quick before I continue,
I forgot about talking about Stranger. It was basically some
rock and Siger zero fight like a rock guess a
good hits in and fucking Siger has an ultimate technique
she could do, but she needs to hit two of
her techniques five times each. And while some ROCKU has beguins,
(40:46):
some hits in on the liking thing, uh, still not
enough to like do any damage liking rock as new
techniques like stinking from the shadows type of thing, and
and it kind of end up with Siger again knocked out.
Speaker 3 (40:59):
So I had I had to talk about the real quick.
Speaker 4 (41:02):
The show that we gave the background to, and that's
all the love you gave it.
Speaker 3 (41:05):
I'm gonna talk about the the awards. So we got war.
We gott keep all right now, Tyer.
Speaker 4 (41:13):
God go ahead, oh because I just finished watching it. Yeah,
I actually wrote a decent like decent summer of Tyler God.
I mean, frank uh Tower of God of God Tower.
So episode starts off pretty easy going early on basically,
and Dorsey saves everybody and the thug rankers and are
being directed by their higher ups to back off and
(41:35):
just all right, it is what it is. We lost
the battle. Let's move on. And so everyone saved. Everyone's happy,
everyone has a party. Uh Wegman is back. He's good,
he's content, he's happy, and what it does, and we
also get in Dorsey and Bam going on a date
and that was cute. But the remainder the basically that
was the entire first half listen. The other half of
the episode focuses on the stories that will hopefully come
(41:57):
in season three and beyond, and basically the story the
main story of season three seems to be the next battle,
which is the d Rank Test, and it's called the
Hell Train, and it's supposed to be like crazy intense,
like you know, there's a bunch of teams that go
in there and very like and only like select few
like persons, not team's persons, end up surviving by the
(42:19):
end of the test, So that seems pretty interesting from
that perspective. And then the other thing is gonna surround Cassano.
Basically toward the end of the episode, we find out
that taraske Ilmar basically had his whole devil stolen from
him by Cassano, and so now Cassano is a full
(42:40):
on devil. He's got both left on the right side,
so he's a full on devil. And basically we find
out from Uh from y Run, who they bring back
from the seal, that they'll find Uh they'll find him
on the train, right, They'll find him on the hell train.
And that's also important because of the fact that he
(43:00):
has Uh, we find out the keys to Emily, and
finally the doctor admits that Emily is an ignitition weapon.
And you know, basically Emily was was tricked to be
consider herself human, but she's not really human. So if
she goes crazy on a rampage, then everybody's in fucking
deep shit, Like some bad shit's gonna happen. And so
(43:21):
we get toward the end of the episode in after
credit I'm skipping ahead, but the after credit scene kind
of ties into this. We see Cassano and he's with
the traveler. The traveler stayed with him because he cares
about Emily, and he goes with him and they go
to a location and.
Speaker 8 (43:39):
They meet ra Heel.
Speaker 4 (43:41):
So Cassano is in cahoots with Rahel and uh that's
how the episode ends, and we get like, uh, that
was again after credit and then we get some cute
little cheepy things at the end elsewhere though in regards
to the rest of the episode, Basically, in order to
seek out Rahel what's it called, Kun has tasked uh
Novic and ran with creating a new team. And their
(44:04):
new team is them too, the running guy whose name
I forgot and and Shishi right Zaya sayah if every
want to pronounce her name, the former FuG person.
Speaker 2 (44:16):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (44:16):
They've joined the team now, so it'll be them four
and their sole objective is to find where the hell
ray hell is so Kun can extract revenge and Bam
can simp over her for a little bit, right because
it's and so what else happened that was worth the dam?
We also get a background basically on Karaka, this the
thug slayer, and we see I forget his name too,
(44:37):
but basically Kuhn's trainer as it relates to to FuG
and basically they get a little bit of background and
the trainer basically warns Karaka that you know, Viole Bam
is gonna come after him for all the ship that
he did. And we see that he has a ring,
the same ring that Wegman has, and we also found
(44:58):
out uh that we see what's her face?
Speaker 2 (45:02):
Yea On?
Speaker 4 (45:03):
Yeon has a particular interest and before he wakes up,
basically uh Wegman wakes up, she tries to go for
the ring so obviously there's something key with the ring,
with the families and so forth and so on, And
basically we get the formation of the two other teams.
Right she beats to in his team they move on
and dors is gonna be moving on. They're ahead of
them in the tower. So basically Bam Rack Kun Wegman
(45:28):
Kwir Run and uh Hon right a Rack par they're
the initial people that we see basically will be on
the team. Whether Blitz Prince Yao go saying uh Ilmar
when he wakes up and Parrakule will join them is
to be determined. And the episode and the season more
or less ends with before they move on to the
(45:50):
hell train, uh Bam asks Kuhn for a favor and
Kuhn cuts his hair, and now we get o g
Bam look just older and slightly more mature and a
hell of a lot more powerful. And so that's how
the season ended. By default, it gets a high rating
from me because of the fact that I didn't have much,
(46:11):
but I.
Speaker 3 (46:11):
Really enjoyed that I gave it three and a half.
Speaker 4 (46:14):
You gave it a three and a half. I gave
it like a feign a quarter. I enjoyed this season
a lot not just like I said, it ranks high
by default, but in general I thought it was a
solid four foreign a quarter. It depends. I'll say, like four.
Speaker 6 (46:29):
Fun I liked it better in the first part, yes,
but yeah, there were times I was like, you know,
it's okay, like some episode like hit and miss to me.
But when we got to like the like Capture and
Bam and all that, and some of the characters that
were like new introduced or okay, like Beta, give it
about I was. I loved Rack though I love seeing
Raccoon and Bam being reunited.
Speaker 4 (46:48):
The old character is always the best characters. But all
things considered, the way that they've set everything up, I
enjoyed and it gives I'm.
Speaker 3 (46:55):
Definitely true for more, don't get it wrong. I'm definitely
looking forward to the rest.
Speaker 4 (46:58):
Yeah yeah, yeah, So you know, by default it's gonna
rank high where stay tuned to find out, but it
would have been in my ten regardless, I think nonetheless me,
So yeah, four, we'll get We'll say a solid four.
I'll say four flat four flat, all right.
Speaker 6 (47:15):
I know we have one finale and I want to
do Bleach because I want the or for last for
how good Eide was, Oh yeah, so let's do bleach
all right, Uh yeah, we got a filthy trader.
Speaker 4 (47:31):
Ye, dirty dirty trader, dirty dirty trayer.
Speaker 3 (47:34):
Like, oh no, who did see this company? That's why?
Speaker 7 (47:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (47:37):
Yeah, like we do.
Speaker 4 (47:38):
But cut the fun now.
Speaker 3 (47:40):
Now you do this, Now you say this, Now you
call out, you call him out.
Speaker 4 (47:45):
Now it's in consequence.
Speaker 3 (47:47):
It's just yeah. But yeah, surprise everyone. She da didn't
really join this quincy try glad because Harsh was like,
you're a trader, aren't you.
Speaker 4 (47:57):
Duh, it's bleach.
Speaker 6 (47:58):
I foresee, like like they weren't gonna kill, We're gonna
do killing. She died if he that was what they good.
If he didn't go back, he was gonna die and
he's not Dye.
Speaker 3 (48:07):
That's well.
Speaker 4 (48:08):
I mean, I thought it was intriguing that basically him
that the reason why we find out, the reason why
he needed Hoshwalt so bad is because he needed somebody
to swap powers while he sleeps, so his power is
never out of commission. I didn't mind that. I thought
that was a cool detail.
Speaker 6 (48:18):
That that power was fine. Yeah, but yeah, it's like
you're like, like, what do you mean that a trader
like the way we can see, right.
Speaker 4 (48:25):
Did you not kill him?
Speaker 3 (48:28):
Yeah, and we get a flashback of why this.
Speaker 4 (48:32):
He stole the book? You learned the truth?
Speaker 3 (48:34):
Like, yeah, he's not like, he's not a prophet, he's
just a psychopath. That was to kill everyone.
Speaker 4 (48:40):
Yeah, that was it. That was really we knew that
already though nothing new.
Speaker 3 (48:45):
Yeah. Well, going on, the Quincy's are doing their power
boosts our kitty, you know kid, our kitty, the cat girl.
Speaker 4 (48:55):
Oh you're a yeah, you're a. I wanted to pop
a squat on my face. Please squad pussy all in
my face, bitch.
Speaker 6 (49:07):
Yeah yeah, but yeah, she she did her power up
against this one Quincy. I forgot his name.
Speaker 3 (49:14):
I forgot that.
Speaker 6 (49:14):
It's too many fucking names. Asking whatever, asking. I was like,
oh yeah, well now now your spiritsal pressure can't kill me.
Sure and fucking valky valkyrie giant valkyrie just turned giants.
Speaker 4 (49:32):
It's simple. I didn't mind it.
Speaker 3 (49:34):
Like he all all the like over the top one
has like a god species type of fame. I'm big.
Speaker 4 (49:41):
Which, by the way, we could fast forward two seconds.
Why the fun is it's still alive? What Matt sap
answer me that question? Why the fuck is that bird
still alive?
Speaker 3 (49:54):
But I don't know. I don't know, bro, I.
Speaker 4 (50:01):
Swear to god, I was on my couch watching it
and I face palmed.
Speaker 3 (50:04):
I'm like, how.
Speaker 12 (50:06):
The ass poles? But uh yeah, yeah, I'm gonna be done.
I shu go and the TVCDA. He's like, why didn't
you tell us that you're gonna be a trader?
Speaker 3 (50:19):
Like I have to end with me. I had been
my bloodline. Damn it, I gotta do it. It's me me, me, me,
me me. So you guys, rud I'll fight Hashwalt. End
credits and then we get some more bullshit and the
after credits. You know, did you like that after credits? No,
(50:41):
the first thirty seconds.
Speaker 4 (50:42):
With the history, they could have put that at the
beginning of one of the episodes and I would have
been perfectly fit.
Speaker 3 (50:46):
Yeah, I didn't need it in the season for now.
Speaker 4 (50:49):
By the way, there's another question. You didn't. You didn't mention,
You didn't mention a detail, And I have a question,
how the hell did he set his dad and Ichigo's
dad end up in the fucking realm secretly watching their sons,
talking about each other's sons, and they're not doing a
fucking thing while all of this is happening.
Speaker 3 (51:04):
No, no, we gotta jug it for the new generation.
We're powerless now parents, it's it's it's fine.
Speaker 2 (51:12):
It's a.
Speaker 4 (51:14):
I fucking roll.
Speaker 3 (51:16):
Yeah, I gave it three and a half.
Speaker 4 (51:18):
I gave it a four just because the action and
the media compositions like.
Speaker 3 (51:20):
The only things I gave a damn about. You know what,
the flash I seems are cool, but these are already
developed characters, like while we again exposition on them.
Speaker 2 (51:29):
Now.
Speaker 4 (51:30):
This season finale for Bleach dropped it down a space
on my list because it's just I got I finally.
I think I hit my breaking point with this show,
and I'll talk about it more, just like of how
over the fucking top it is, out of just pulling
ship out of your fucking ass, from the deepest part
of your rectum, just pulling it out. It's yeah. Now
you know how I fucking feel. I'm tired.
Speaker 3 (51:52):
You know how I feel like.
Speaker 4 (51:55):
I am a broken I am a broken man.
Speaker 3 (52:00):
Now we're gonnadd with something that's actually fucking good or
yes as okay.
Speaker 10 (52:05):
Got one of our guests in our guests in uh
yeah immediately Novak is still torturing oxy where the files
with a final like even like splitting.
Speaker 4 (52:20):
That's joker now yeah, why so serious?
Speaker 2 (52:24):
Sudden?
Speaker 4 (52:25):
So serious?
Speaker 3 (52:27):
Well, Betty's like, you know, torture me, ain't gonna do anything.
So the sun is burned? Why don't you believe me?
And that just said like he knows you didn't burn it,
stitching back up and when he when he's better, we're
gonna stab his eyes right now. Let's do that right now.
So you have five seconds until I stab your friend here,
(52:50):
five four three, Yeah, that's like wait through one in
the mountain.
Speaker 4 (52:58):
Yeah, it's in the mount I shall take you to it.
Speaker 6 (53:02):
Thank you for your cooperation. You're gonna die now, yep, yep,
they're they're in a jail cell.
Speaker 3 (53:08):
It's like he showed him.
Speaker 2 (53:09):
He's like no, but and we.
Speaker 6 (53:11):
See rat Fel's influence is still strong even after ten
plus years. While that's talking to bad Daddy about like
how much of a genius guy is. I got to
the point where he took it to his grave. I'd
rather kill himself and give it, give it, give this
stuff that you did.
Speaker 4 (53:30):
But you gave it up.
Speaker 3 (53:30):
Though he didn't. He would die for it. And guess
what he was twelve, They're like, what, like twelve.
Speaker 4 (53:37):
He's got bigger balls than you ever did. Motherfucker.
Speaker 3 (53:40):
It's like it's like, it's like the only it's the
only heretic, no fact respects basically because he's because he
was willing to die for it. And then even that,
even in depth, that inspiration is still alive. Yeah and bad.
Then he told Oxley, all is I guess I guess
the guy? They know he's probably right, don't he's twelve?
Speaker 2 (53:58):
Like what.
Speaker 3 (54:00):
Twelve? Yeah? Twelve? Damn it? Oh, we're still sending Chris
that we did. And uh, basically the guy the guard
comes and say, hey, it's time they put their thing
on to go.
Speaker 4 (54:14):
But wait, but any you didn't you they have the files?
Speaker 3 (54:17):
Now what a good question?
Speaker 8 (54:18):
Is it?
Speaker 2 (54:19):
No?
Speaker 4 (54:19):
Well, he says, He's like, well, and I would on
the point. One critique of this episode is they didn't
show how he saved Ocassi's work, But he said, yeah,
they got all my I burned all my stuff. The
stuff that I gave them is the stuff that we
based it on. But there is one thing that's out there,
and that's your work. And he's like what He's like,
I would never ever ever give anybody.
Speaker 3 (54:40):
I want to care. But when they see your work,
they could learn from that. They could they could have edited,
could they could like, hey, there's new theories basically.
Speaker 4 (54:47):
Politely said your work is for the work of retards
like your kind.
Speaker 3 (54:52):
At people. They could, but people could take his work
and then find tutor to actually make it something.
Speaker 4 (54:57):
Yeah, so it gives him hoping inspi ration.
Speaker 6 (55:01):
And that's again as when Raffel died inspiration. So they
at the punishment that ropes around their necks and they're
sentenced to death, and that is like, so your favorite
going to hell. I was like, no, I think that
we're going to heaven. And they look up at the
night sky oxy he finally sees.
Speaker 4 (55:26):
Venus and did he see I don't think he saw it.
I didn't get that.
Speaker 3 (55:30):
I feel that's why I got friends, like he saw
like that's what that's what he wanted to see for
the in full like in full swing.
Speaker 4 (55:37):
I don't I didn't get that at all. Honestly, maybe
he did and I didn't catch.
Speaker 3 (55:40):
It, but I don't think he said that.
Speaker 4 (55:42):
They were just like like, oh, this is the beautiful
sky death.
Speaker 6 (55:45):
Yeah, but yeah, like like but we saw like that
that like golden skirt, leve that's what you want to see,
like the baby. He actually saw it in full and
he said that nice sky is lovely and hang, that
and oxy are.
Speaker 4 (55:59):
Dead detail, by the way, which I loved that they
didn't go They didn't They didn't glorify it or put
it like like a close up of it. But you
can tell with the way that it was drawn is
when they broke, Uh, what's when? What's his face? When
by Denny got hung and his neck broke. Uh, you
see blood from his nose. Remember he wasn't touched the
entire time. You see blood from his nose, which is
(56:19):
a great detail when it comes to hang, I thought,
and a lot of times we don't see those things
because of the fact that you have the bag over
your head.
Speaker 3 (56:25):
You just see you just see the quick spasm and dead.
Speaker 2 (56:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (56:29):
That it was really minute detail that I was like, oh, period, correct,
that's how somebody gets it gets hung. That's what happens.
Speaker 3 (56:37):
Yeah, and it actually burn the bodies. We're not done though, No,
we're not. That was the next day.
Speaker 4 (56:43):
No, it was like fucking like.
Speaker 3 (56:46):
Like the next transition tells basically has the inquizors and
trade in question your enda. So, hey, y do you
know your dad's works?
Speaker 2 (56:57):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (56:57):
No, you never told me how we're quiz that. She's like,
oh her heart drops yep, Like we's gotta we've gotta.
Speaker 2 (57:06):
Talk to you. He's got a question.
Speaker 4 (57:07):
Yeah, do you know anything about your friends?
Speaker 6 (57:10):
Like no, I actually don't. I swear, and like, you
know what, you're right because your dad's a quizitor. Why
would you know anything? Yeah, but it's like hold on,
jumped about that?
Speaker 4 (57:22):
Yeah, what are you doing?
Speaker 3 (57:23):
It's like YouTube, you don't got your job? Torture like,
but she's like, they're lie.
Speaker 4 (57:30):
They lie, that's the double kill it.
Speaker 3 (57:35):
She's a woman, he's a woman.
Speaker 4 (57:37):
How dare she seek to be fucking equal to us? Men?
He doesn't have a dick? Yep, okay, fucking sixteen.
Speaker 3 (57:43):
So it's like one, she's a female, two not a boy.
Speaker 2 (57:46):
And three she's a girl.
Speaker 4 (57:49):
Fucking sixteen and tate ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker 2 (57:51):
Ye.
Speaker 3 (57:52):
So they're like, you coming with us, what we're gonna
torture you? And are you torture? I am doing it? Okay, fine,
I'll do it. Richter tooth out with the flyers had
to be the front tooth.
Speaker 4 (58:05):
Why they couldn't be that?
Speaker 3 (58:06):
Well, it's like bigger, like ou more paople.
Speaker 4 (58:09):
I would those scenes because the animators do a really
good job of like the sound effect. You hear the
crunching of the like, oh that's so great.
Speaker 3 (58:19):
All right, you do the next one and he's hesitanting.
It's like I kinda is that alright? Like I'll be
right back, Let's get that, Let's get the other basic,
let'st's not do the teeth?
Speaker 4 (58:28):
What if finale mar marl ah, Okay.
Speaker 6 (58:32):
I don't watch that yet, no, no, but yeah, well,
the guys goes out tries to go the thing, but
he overhears them like, ah, oh man, we actually.
Speaker 3 (58:40):
Got Novack's daughter.
Speaker 6 (58:42):
So when we kill her and Rode, his reputation will
kick him out, you know, like no beast power got
way to his heads, like ah, we gotta get rid
of them.
Speaker 3 (58:51):
And the guy's like so you I can't find the thing?
Can can you do that?
Speaker 4 (58:57):
Ok?
Speaker 6 (58:58):
It's like I'm getting you out of here. Why it's
like well, like no, like Imni explaining, Yeah, I'm the
horse to leave, and now I will explain, like what
is faith to you?
Speaker 4 (59:10):
What do you say, what was the Uh, it's a it's.
Speaker 3 (59:12):
A life like, it's a lifestyle.
Speaker 6 (59:15):
I kind of wish they added like five more minutes
because it's just gonna go to the next arc in
then the next episode, so we're about the first few minutes.
Speaker 4 (59:23):
We don't know what happens to her.
Speaker 3 (59:25):
We don't see you're gonna you're gonna see. I kind
of wish they added in the episode. Is that make
it like the beginning of the next episode.
Speaker 4 (59:30):
I would have Yeah, I would have liked to have
seen like how a Novak thought like and start him
planning things like that.
Speaker 3 (59:36):
Is that that that we'll get it?
Speaker 6 (59:38):
I just kind of wanted the next episode go to
go right into the next art, but it's not going
to and they're gonna wait like halfway through probably, but uh,
overall though, there's like no core to that fix me
the same old piece. It's gonna keep on going.
Speaker 2 (59:52):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (59:52):
I gave it right now, it's like four and a half.
Speaker 4 (59:55):
I've got it. I've got a four and three quarter
my four three quorder right now.
Speaker 2 (59:59):
I like it like that.
Speaker 13 (01:00:00):
This would have been top five easy easy, Oh yeah,
oh yeah, No, I haven't told the starman that, like
you know, you know, just finish, like if we if
it started summer and ended here, it'd be top five.
Speaker 4 (01:00:11):
My year, top five for the year.
Speaker 3 (01:00:13):
Yeah for me, I've got it.
Speaker 4 (01:00:15):
If it's if I would have graded right now, right
right right now, I had to put it at fourteen
for the year for the year if we stopped right now.
Speaker 3 (01:00:24):
Alright and now with further ado, let's get our friends
in because it's time for staff awards.
Speaker 4 (01:00:31):
And one isn't here.
Speaker 3 (01:00:33):
What isn't Harriet? And we have Chris and man give
it up.
Speaker 4 (01:00:39):
Momentarily went to go pee.
Speaker 3 (01:00:41):
He wants to go.
Speaker 4 (01:00:42):
I guess, I don't know, maybe want to go get
a drink, you know, But our waiter, Chris, don't you
copping sounds on your board make a clopping sound for him?
Speaker 3 (01:00:50):
I don't have clopping sounds.
Speaker 4 (01:00:55):
I could just record you and your significant other getting
in copping sounds.
Speaker 2 (01:00:58):
Ere we go.
Speaker 6 (01:00:59):
Yeah, but now we gotta do the happy birthday songs, right.
I don't want to ask for it, Chris, you're on there?
Hey there, what's up?
Speaker 3 (01:01:13):
Nothing much?
Speaker 9 (01:01:13):
I was looking up for looking for an old anime
series I wanted to I've been trying to check out
I thought I found it.
Speaker 4 (01:01:20):
Was time to watch an all the anime series on
top of the fifty anime you watch. Yeah, how many
more do you haven't left that are still airing?
Speaker 8 (01:01:29):
You mean continuals? Yeah, let's find out, because I already
have that written down. Yeah eight eight, yep.
Speaker 4 (01:01:39):
This is I have four.
Speaker 8 (01:01:41):
I have the power.
Speaker 3 (01:01:42):
You have the power. Sure, ye know, I'll pretend to
believe you keyword pretend good.
Speaker 6 (01:01:49):
But no, we got we gonna we got a lot
to cover. It's gonna be fun and whenever Starman gets here,
we will get to that.
Speaker 3 (01:01:54):
But so, Chris, why did you figure the season so far?
What did you think of the fall?
Speaker 2 (01:01:59):
How was it for you?
Speaker 9 (01:02:01):
It was pretty good, a lot of new stuff that
I was interested, continuations of the folks ship that was
pretty good, good finales all around.
Speaker 4 (01:02:11):
That's a lie. I got plenty of fine is the
bitch about?
Speaker 8 (01:02:16):
Well, that's because you pick up not great shows.
Speaker 4 (01:02:21):
I don't. I don't.
Speaker 8 (01:02:22):
Didn't you didn't watch it?
Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
Okay, I can't.
Speaker 9 (01:02:24):
I can't say anything for Danda Dan because of the
fucking stupid ass clip hanging we got.
Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
Yeah, that was, like I said, it was the blue
lock for the weekend.
Speaker 9 (01:02:33):
But fucking ku Yoko. Uh personal uh, let's see what else.
Fucking Magalumer was pretty good. Your greeving soul probably, yeah,
my grieving souls?
Speaker 8 (01:02:53):
What who has?
Speaker 3 (01:02:55):
Who has? Echo?
Speaker 8 (01:02:56):
The thing is here here for me? You're starting because
I can hear it. I can hear like you guys talking.
Speaker 4 (01:03:04):
Let's do this.
Speaker 8 (01:03:06):
Hell uh, it's done. It was turning.
Speaker 2 (01:03:08):
Man.
Speaker 3 (01:03:09):
Okay, Well was that I said, leave it?
Speaker 4 (01:03:11):
Leave it. He's on his way back there, he's running.
Speaker 3 (01:03:20):
That should be late.
Speaker 4 (01:03:21):
How you doing?
Speaker 2 (01:03:21):
How you doing? Man? You can be fashion late when
you've got this ship.
Speaker 3 (01:03:25):
On, you know, as I said, it's we're okay.
Speaker 2 (01:03:29):
Yeah, yeah, oh snow. Look at Chris not sitting thirty
feet away from the camera this time. Huh.
Speaker 3 (01:03:37):
But we're happy to have you.
Speaker 8 (01:03:39):
All right, Chris, I'm doing good.
Speaker 3 (01:03:41):
How are you?
Speaker 2 (01:03:41):
Man? That's good. I'm great, man, I'm doing great.
Speaker 4 (01:03:44):
It's so weird without him not having his like quality,
like three hundred dollars mic on him for me.
Speaker 2 (01:03:49):
Yeah. You I mean, bro, I got this four hundred
dollars hit set. So I mean hopefully I fund good.
Speaker 4 (01:03:54):
Don't it sound possible? I wouldn't say you sound great?
Speaker 2 (01:03:58):
What this?
Speaker 4 (01:03:59):
Yeah? You sound like, you sound like we're playing video games.
Speaker 2 (01:04:03):
That's good, Dan, you know, I mean yeah, But gentlemen,
are you ready to give out some cakes, some.
Speaker 3 (01:04:10):
Food, some drinks. I am as I'm ever gonna be already.
Speaker 6 (01:04:15):
We're gonna start, as always with our Christmas cake, the
thing nobody wants.
Speaker 3 (01:04:20):
Our most disappointing. What was your disappointing of the season, Chris, Oh,
that would.
Speaker 8 (01:04:26):
Be Demon Lord twenty ninety nine.
Speaker 9 (01:04:28):
I was fully on board for a fantasy demon Lord
going around causing fucking hate mayhem, getting chrome and killing
anyone he can see. But then we got Streamer at
the end of episode two, and I immediately got that ship.
Speaker 8 (01:04:51):
You finished it right sortomon does? Does it move on
from the streamer shit?
Speaker 2 (01:04:56):
I'm gonna be honest with you. I was enjoying the
Streamer ship, But then sometime around episode ten he goes
to fucking high school, and I'm like, why why is
he going to high school? I was like, look around
episode ten, like nine ten, he ends up needing to
go to a dungeon that is belowly high school, so
he ends up enrolling in a high school so he
(01:05:17):
can't go to this dungeon and he has to do
high school stuff, and it immediately turns to that anime
where the transfer student is opeds hell and can defeat
the snoody, fatuity rich guy in school who wants to
sun everybody. And then from there we just get cliche
after cliche after cliche. You know, old girl with the
(01:05:38):
white hair, she's his biggest cheerleader, and all the teachers
love him because he's polite and he's I'm like, bro,
you're a thousand years old at that. Like, the high
school stuff kind of lost it for me. I wouldn't
say it's my most disappointed, but once they went to
high school, it really lost all the points that I
was gonna give it.
Speaker 8 (01:05:56):
Okay, I'm glad I didn't keep it up.
Speaker 2 (01:05:58):
Keep up a rare Chris, ladies and gentlemen, rare Chris dropped.
Speaker 8 (01:06:03):
I had like four drops this season.
Speaker 3 (01:06:06):
Okay, okay, down, Sorry, what was your disappointment?
Speaker 2 (01:06:14):
My most disappointing was Delico's Nursery. Really yeah, man, I
love the animation, Like, the animation is gorgeous. That's getting
in the word later spoiler, but it's it's that's all
they had. That's that's when I don't feel bad. Spoiling it.
I love how it looked, but it I get it,
but it was too literal. It was literally about a nursery.
(01:06:35):
It was literally, I'm thinking, this vampire, this vampire hunt,
what they have is really gonna be meaningful, And the
story just shifts and nothing really gets resolved. It's just
a bunch of badass vampire kids and a bunch of
dads who are nobles who don't raise their kids having
to raise their kids and realizing, oh shit, this is
why we this is why we let the help do it,
(01:06:57):
because these kids bad as hell and we don't feel
like they're with it. And on top of doing this,
Deliico the only reason he wants to even have this
nursery is because his daughter, I mean his wife was killed.
His wife was killed, and her dying wish was for
him to take care of the kids. She didn't mean
(01:07:17):
that shit like mineral, like Nigga, I need you to
breastfeed him. It was like, bro, just make sure the
kids good and he just get out here, and then
he gonna tell like he's the super he's the most
noble vampire in all of vampirehood, Like he comes from
a super prestigious family, so you know, everybody ends up
turning the Uh Detective Agency into a nursery. And twelve
(01:07:39):
episodes wasn't enough to get into the get into the
characters of the children, the adults, the backstory with the villains,
and the true whole point of this entire series. Thirteen
episodes wasn't enough. It disappointed me.
Speaker 3 (01:07:55):
Uhs I would post in the live covers. I'll post
the live winners on the Toco Cafe Facebook page as
we do this, so we want to know if he
didn't watch it, and you can see how posted who
the winners are, they will be right there, right go ahead.
Speaker 4 (01:08:12):
My biggest disappointment is how I ended up at a
guy All Guys started out great and it had its moments,
but the show lost me when it focused on the
most feckless, fucking guy I've seen in a romance esque
anime in such a long time. He is more feckless
(01:08:33):
than any of the other characters I've ever complained about.
Being fucking Hagi Hagy is the fucking worst character. We
had a worst character of the season. Do you two
be changed that?
Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
Do we not?
Speaker 4 (01:08:44):
But what was the what was the Oh, it's for
annual worst worst anime, right, yeah, yeah, okay, never mind
if we had a worst character of disease and we
go to hockey because Hogy is just stupid, stupid, feckless,
doesn't like bro ultimate fucking version and they focused so
much on him and Ohaku and Kohaku is just as
(01:09:05):
silly as well. From that perspective, I didn't really enjoy her.
She was just the cutest I think, out of the three.
And the main part that pissed me off about the
show is there was no fucking progress. You had thirteen twelve,
We had twelve episodes, you were a week behind, and
in the in the end, when it was all said
and done, none of the three couples, six people. There
(01:09:27):
was no tangible progress in terms of being in a
natural relation. And that shit was just blu.
Speaker 3 (01:09:33):
All that for buch all that for he's at an
odd angle there, Yeah, he had an odd angle. You
oh you, oh, you're good.
Speaker 4 (01:09:42):
When you drink too much, ladies and gentlemen, that's what
you look like or that's what everything looks like.
Speaker 2 (01:09:46):
To you, all right?
Speaker 3 (01:09:47):
Is that it fair?
Speaker 4 (01:09:49):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:09:50):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:09:50):
Mine is?
Speaker 3 (01:09:51):
Of course.
Speaker 4 (01:09:52):
It was a maaki Mmm.
Speaker 6 (01:09:53):
I really really wanted to like this had probably one
of the best premieres, and and everything quality, how rushed,
poorly paced.
Speaker 4 (01:10:03):
It all just went away.
Speaker 3 (01:10:05):
I said before, and I'll say it again, do not
animate duje Intel's work.
Speaker 4 (01:10:10):
It does not go overwhell.
Speaker 6 (01:10:11):
I thought I thought this would break the curse, but
it didn't. Yep, it went JK and I'm just like,
what are we doing here?
Speaker 4 (01:10:22):
Couldn't tell you, buddy, you're here to suffer.
Speaker 3 (01:10:25):
I am here to suffer in all the wrong ways.
But yeah, that is my disappointed.
Speaker 6 (01:10:31):
So now let us go drink some bubble tea for
our best surprise. That's something we'd expect to be good,
or we didn't really pick up something that.
Speaker 3 (01:10:41):
Ex seeded our expectations. So Chris, what is yours?
Speaker 9 (01:10:45):
You're gonna be hearing about this show off for me tonight.
I promise you that mag Lumire Limited Corporations.
Speaker 8 (01:10:54):
I did not expect.
Speaker 9 (01:10:57):
It first, wasn't even on my radar because who cares
this uh magical girls show? But then I heard the
premise Magical Girls and in corporation was business ship uh
and the animation uh is was fucking good.
Speaker 8 (01:11:13):
I was all on board. I'm fucking all down for
this show. And I can't wait for the next season.
Speaker 3 (01:11:18):
Okay, all right, star man, Yep.
Speaker 8 (01:11:21):
Technical difficulties, technical difficulties, got it?
Speaker 3 (01:11:24):
Uh yo, there goes, there goes?
Speaker 2 (01:11:28):
Yeah, yeah, it happens. Okay. So you said biggest surprise yep. Yes,
bigger surprise for me was ORB. I didn't hear. I
didn't know nothing about it, but once I started watching it,
I was like, yo, because I didn't I didn't start
ORB to how many episodes of or when I when
I started watching it, I think I didn't jump into
(01:11:49):
ORB to like like at least about four or five,
Like I was like, I think I was. I was,
I was way far behind. But then but when I jump,
then it was like I just kept constantly going and
going and going and going and going and going, and
I was like, Okay, this is pretty awesome. Like I really,
I'm really rocking with this show. I didn't expect nothing, like,
(01:12:12):
nothing like what it was. You know, if you would
have told me the premise, I'd have been like, eh, okay,
but then you know, uh, once things started rolling, man,
it was like pleasant surprise. I really appreciated that. So yeah, yeah,
that was my big surprise or man, like that was
a sleeper. That's a sleeper's.
Speaker 3 (01:12:29):
Definitely uh if it was yours.
Speaker 4 (01:12:32):
Blue Box similar to uh to Sean there. I didn't
pick up Blue Box until we were about three or
four episodes in the Hype of the community drove me
to do it. The hype from you guys, all of
you guys talking about blue Box and how incredible it
was drove me to it. And the fact that when
I first read the when I first read the description,
I'm like, Oh, it has to do with sports, and
(01:12:53):
I don't like sports animes. As an avid real life
sports viewer, I don't. I think that no sports anime
does the actual product of the sport in real life
any real justice. I still feel that way, But the
story itself encompasses far more than just the sports aspect
of it, and the way that they do incorporate the
(01:13:13):
sports aspect is really really well done in comparison to
the overarching story of the series. And so Blue Box
is one of those where like I would always I
would always watch ORB right because I knew ORB was
gonna make me feel certain type of way, like have
negative thoughts about shit, because it was gonna leave me
like wow, what the fuck? Like Yo, that's fucked up.
That's all that's disgusting with the torture, and then I
(01:13:35):
would watch Blue Box afterwards to make me feel good, right,
and it would be like, all right, this is so wholesome,
it's nice, it's cute, it's all type shit, and it
would make me feel good and help me move on
with the rest of my viewing that day. So Blue
Box is one of my favorites easy if I could
count it easy top five. Same with ORB, as I
said previously before the boys made the air easy top five,
(01:13:57):
as if I could have put them in there.
Speaker 3 (01:13:59):
So, uh, mine is also ORB. Didn't know any about
it expect to pick it up, and then Chris told
me about it. Oh yeah, tell me that it was
kind of Vinland.
Speaker 6 (01:14:10):
Sagas as I made by Matt Matt House.
Speaker 3 (01:14:13):
Who did also did free In So that was like,
all right, that's a double Land right there, and it
came one of my favorites. So I loved it for that.
Speaker 6 (01:14:21):
So yeah, ORB is my surprise as well. All right,
next one, I think this one might be a default
except for one person, but we're gonna do it anyway.
We're gonna have some miso soup. For best opening Theme.
Speaker 8 (01:14:36):
Yeah we're gonna We're going by nuts.
Speaker 3 (01:14:41):
Yeah yeah, buddy, Oh.
Speaker 8 (01:14:44):
I fucking love this song. All the fucking rapper.
Speaker 9 (01:14:48):
This song was made as a uh fucking homage to
the creator of Don Don h. I don't know how
many of you have listened to the full song and
checked out. They they referenced a lot of his stuff,
or they referenced like a bunch of his inspirations. They
(01:15:09):
reference uh Demon Slayer chainsaw Man because he also worked
on chainsaw Man.
Speaker 8 (01:15:14):
They referenced one piece Naruto. They referenced what gave.
Speaker 9 (01:15:19):
Him the idea to make this uh the uh because
in an interview, he wrote that he just couldn't make.
Speaker 8 (01:15:27):
A hit shown in like all of his everyone he
looked up to, And then after watching the.
Speaker 9 (01:15:33):
Comedy horror movie uh Ring Girl Versus Grudge Girl, he
got the idea to make this show or make this series,
and it's so good and and it's got.
Speaker 3 (01:15:44):
A good beat man same same.
Speaker 2 (01:15:48):
Same, Yeah, that's all I get. Yeah, he hadn't kind
of filmed it up, but the same.
Speaker 3 (01:15:53):
Yeah, It's just it's just amazing, right, So even what's yours?
That what's yours? For the being the minority's the.
Speaker 4 (01:15:59):
One who didn't watch them the done. It was a
hard choice, I'm being honest. For me, I ended up
going with Chillion Game. And the reason why is it's
got like hip hop electronic type vibe. Those are obviously
some of my favorite genres. If you're not gonna give
me a ballad, you're gonna give me something like upbeat.
I like the cherry shit, don't get me wrong, but
(01:16:19):
like when it comes to like anything that's like anything
DM related, anything hip hop related, and not even anything
hip hop related, because I don't like the way the
Japanese do hip hop a lot of times. But this,
I don't know. It is just something about this ship,
like you could just rock that shit, right, you could
just I could literally see myself cruising on on on
the turnpike listening to the to the uh the Trillion
game theme. So I ended up going with that.
Speaker 3 (01:16:40):
Alright, very good. Now let's get some mom for best
ending theme. What is your best ending theme?
Speaker 2 (01:16:48):
Uh?
Speaker 8 (01:16:49):
This is for a show that no one else here watched.
It's for loner life in another world. Hello to Goodbye by.
Speaker 2 (01:16:57):
Uh it.
Speaker 3 (01:16:58):
It was a nice, uh.
Speaker 9 (01:17:00):
Slow, simple song. The there was it wasn't anything like
special about it. Uh, it just was nice to listen
to after like uh the show ended or uh at
the show.
Speaker 6 (01:17:13):
Okay, all right, So so that explains worry I gave
you when you gave me your show was like what
the okay? So that makes the plains everything.
Speaker 8 (01:17:22):
Yeah, I got a lot of my like, uh, show
us that nobody else watches.
Speaker 3 (01:17:28):
Alright, Star Wars your ed.
Speaker 2 (01:17:30):
My favorite ed honestly made. There was no particular song
that stood out, but I really liked like the end
credit animation and the song just kind of really fit
well with what they were trying to do. It was
not a world to know to know? And then by
yosh you know that was the Yakuza Fiance closing theme.
Speaker 4 (01:17:48):
Yes, I knew you would go with it.
Speaker 3 (01:17:49):
Yes, thanks, I don't like this.
Speaker 4 (01:17:53):
I knew it's mine too, And when you when I
picked it, I'm like, yo, if this doesn't end up
being stars? What the he was listening to?
Speaker 1 (01:18:02):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:18:03):
Oh oh wow, that's what's up? Man? Like you know
me so well? You know me so well? Why don't
you know how I picked that one? Bro?
Speaker 4 (01:18:13):
I picked it too, and I will say the reason
why I picked it in particular is literally again as
Star mentioned, with the with the the ending theme animation,
it was like burlesque esque, right, and I thought it
was very unique. It had like upbeat jazz type flow
with it, and I appreciated it very much, like even
with the scenery, like you see her like she's basically
(01:18:33):
in like a burlesque dress doing some really like kind
of what's called seductive like thing by lifting it up
a little bit and then doing a little bit of dancing,
and you know, again it fits the motif of the show,
and I thought, like, I think out of all the EDS,
there might have been better songs, but in terms of
fitting the motif and then pairing that with the way
(01:18:53):
that they presented it, I thought that was clear for me,
even though it was a little harder.
Speaker 6 (01:18:59):
My it is a similar reason but not that show
since they watch it. EDS like didn't hit hit for me,
but I think one I kind of enjoy especially with
the theme, was rama like even like when you actually
listen to like the when we actually read the lyrics
of the song, it's it's a fucking sunarious song with
a kind of about feelings about rama.
Speaker 3 (01:19:22):
That's really what it is.
Speaker 2 (01:19:23):
I like ramp that was good too.
Speaker 3 (01:19:26):
There were both fun.
Speaker 6 (01:19:26):
Yeah, I like, but uh, if we didn't have fucking that,
the probably would have or rames. But that rama was cute.
Speaker 3 (01:19:34):
It was nice if it fits the theme for everything
and hit the characters personality with how I was animated.
Speaker 2 (01:19:40):
Okay, what I will say is I need to add
on to that because I think it's made time to
some of y'all news about Netflix's past country role. Is
America's favorite go to site for anime, which is insane
that Netflix. It's insane. I put a report in the chat.
But the crazy thing about it is is if anybody
(01:20:01):
Netflix is watching, what I need them to do is
a lot of times the EP really be dope, really
be rocking. I need y'all to give me an option
to skip the EP. I don't want the little ten
second countdown before the next episode like no, I need
the EP to rock like default. The ED needs to
play and if I want to skip it, I need
to hit.
Speaker 3 (01:20:21):
Once once over then you can do next episode.
Speaker 2 (01:20:25):
Yeah, it's I don't That's the only thing. That's the
biggest thing that bothers because with the OP it plays
and you have the option to skip it. With the
ed they automatically like, all right, if there's another episode,
They're like, we're giving you five seconds.
Speaker 4 (01:20:40):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, because give you the skip option with
like maybe like twenty or thirty seconds A.
Speaker 2 (01:20:46):
Yeah, yeah towards the end. That's how they used to
do it. They used to you didn't get that pop
up to the end. Now it's with everybody binge and everything.
As soon as the episode go off there like, but
you got ten seconds, we want to go to the
next episode.
Speaker 4 (01:20:56):
Hey, you got to guess what up?
Speaker 3 (01:20:58):
All right around? Since your barras, what are you gonna
brew for us?
Speaker 6 (01:21:02):
For our next award, which is best Adaptation something that
has been adapted from Bonga light novel, Web Monk web
novel video game, What do you got brewing crickets?
Speaker 2 (01:21:14):
I mean I have one? Do you have one? Chris?
I have one?
Speaker 3 (01:21:17):
Oh he's the waiter, he's a server, he serves it.
But what are you making for us to serve?
Speaker 4 (01:21:22):
What are you cooking?
Speaker 3 (01:21:24):
What are you what are you brewing? So we'll just
say it's a cold brew coffin.
Speaker 2 (01:21:28):
Let's do a cold brew cop co brew coffin.
Speaker 3 (01:21:31):
Uh yeah, Best adaptation.
Speaker 8 (01:21:35):
One, I'm going with Blue Box on this one.
Speaker 2 (01:21:38):
It was.
Speaker 3 (01:21:40):
Yeah, it would have been dang.
Speaker 2 (01:21:44):
But like, there was.
Speaker 8 (01:21:46):
Two issues I had with the Adame adaptation that I
couldn't like overlook.
Speaker 9 (01:21:51):
The first was the then skipping over the jumble scene
for the Bowery you know, or the for the flashback
with the acrobats. And the second was changing the uh
the one Aliens ship from the Millennium Falcon into just
something like nothing, just a regular UFO.
Speaker 2 (01:22:11):
I'm pretty sure that was a lawsuit reason. I'm pretty
illegally that was an expensive reason.
Speaker 9 (01:22:19):
It was fine whatever, But yeah, I fucking love seeing
like blue Box, just blue Box brought back to brought
to the breath. It was beautiful just seeing uh, just
this series I've been read, reading and enjoying.
Speaker 3 (01:22:34):
Okay there, well what about.
Speaker 2 (01:22:37):
Your star Ranma one half Ooh okay, okay, yeah, no, no, no,
I've seen the original never read the Mangle, but I've
seen the original anime. In Original Animal, we didn't get
the shampoo to I think episode nineteen maybe episode twenty
something for us to get shampoo, and like episode like ten,
it's like, oh shit, they're condensing a lot of filler.
(01:22:58):
They're really like yeah, yeah, I mean, because back then,
you just you had to milk it. You just like, bro,
we're gonna make this two hundred episodes, like they're gonna
milk it. So I really do appreciate them. I kind
of knew after watching Spice and Wolf that okay, you
mean and Core one Core two we got season one
season two like in the same you know, in back course,
(01:23:22):
not even seasons. So Rama, I'm they're gonna do the
exact same thing. So I know I know pretty much
everything that's gonna happen. So now that I've kind of
chanced to see it, I can kind of tell you guys,
Rama is going to have fifty episodes and it's done.
Rama will not the new Rama will not be more
than fifty episodes. It's gonna hit fifty episodes.
Speaker 3 (01:23:42):
Like that other one.
Speaker 2 (01:23:48):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're you're sure, Yeah, yeah,
it's gonna be something like that, like, uh yeah, yeah,
this one is gonna be fifty episodes. I think I
think you probably get fifty episodes because yeah, yeah, they wrapped,
they wrapped a lot up in those twelve episodes that
they put out. I was like, oh man, this is
like this is damn the thirty episodes you got and
(01:24:08):
wrapped up in twelve. Okay, this is different, right, all.
Speaker 3 (01:24:12):
Right, I'm as looking forward to it, even what was
your adaptation?
Speaker 4 (01:24:16):
Well, y'all know me, I'm not a manga reader, but
I went with the community on this and I didn't
hear any negatives about the way that ORB was adapted. So, Matt,
I think you are also in tune with the community.
And one of the reasons why I asked you, like,
what do you think this is gonna pop up? Like
the way you you gauge certain things to me helped
me make that determination. So I went with the community,
(01:24:40):
and I haven't heard a negative thing about the adaptation
of ORB, and ORB was absolutely one of my favorites
of the season, So I'm went with the Orb.
Speaker 6 (01:24:48):
Oh yeah, mine is over as well since I fucking
binge it during binger Rid during Fanksgiving week.
Speaker 3 (01:24:53):
So I need I need to know.
Speaker 4 (01:24:54):
I kind I can't wait. So I did that and.
Speaker 3 (01:24:58):
Finished it on like Thanksgiving Day. I was like, all right,
this is great.
Speaker 6 (01:25:02):
I can't wait to see how they do the rest
because like, yep, they're gonna cover all this and the
whole seed is gonna.
Speaker 3 (01:25:07):
Cover the whole manga.
Speaker 4 (01:25:09):
I can't wait.
Speaker 6 (01:25:10):
I really liked it because I hardly been treating manga
like I will just take my time, but this one
just like to keep going.
Speaker 4 (01:25:17):
Was it because obviously was the impetus was that you
saw the show? But was it because as you were
reading it you were that hooked? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:25:25):
Yeah, I was, like I was just intrigued by like
the dialogue and everything and with how it ends, like Okay,
I need to know, I need to know what's x
mm hm.
Speaker 3 (01:25:34):
So that was why for that For that reason, now
do let's do a nice caramel bacchiato. And this one's
gonna be best original anime.
Speaker 6 (01:25:44):
It's like it's someone that was the original, no manga,
no nothing, just made for the anime.
Speaker 9 (01:25:50):
Chris, I'm gonna be going with Mecca da Mechanical Arms
for one fucking reason. It reminded me so much, even
though it's not made by It reminds me of so
much of Trigger series with their like crazy animation.
Speaker 8 (01:26:06):
And uh comedy moment, like how they did their comedy.
Speaker 9 (01:26:12):
It was just like what I missed for like the
last couple of uh last while, because like what's the
last Trigger? Well, but like trigger original anime like uh,
kill a kill and something like and uh journal god
right you know yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:26:28):
Oh yeah, I didn't know that. I didn't know it
was original. Ship.
Speaker 8 (01:26:31):
Did you watch it?
Speaker 2 (01:26:33):
No?
Speaker 8 (01:26:33):
No, yeah, it was original.
Speaker 3 (01:26:36):
I watched it, so.
Speaker 8 (01:26:39):
Yeah, it was pretty good.
Speaker 3 (01:26:41):
Hello, Ra, what's up? Welcome to the stream. How are
you doing? How are you doing?
Speaker 4 (01:26:44):
You love anime? You're in the right place, and if
you want to get into the anime, you're also in
the right place, in the.
Speaker 2 (01:26:49):
Very right right place. All right. Start?
Speaker 3 (01:26:52):
What was your best original?
Speaker 2 (01:26:54):
Man? I didn't have one. I didn't. I tried to look,
and I could not find a single series that I
actually watched this season that was not an adaptation. I
was looking because I was looking to trying to find out, like, yo,
it's like, what is it? And then everything that I
thought was an original had a mango damn.
Speaker 3 (01:27:14):
All right, so we'll believe you as a an a.
Speaker 2 (01:27:18):
But but.
Speaker 3 (01:27:20):
Yeah, yeah, I said we didn't. Yeah, we didn't have
a lot of originals. I think it's like three, maybe four.
Speaker 2 (01:27:26):
What I will say is I think Delicoe's Nursery is
based on the play, not a Mango, But I could
be wrong about that.
Speaker 3 (01:27:34):
Let me look for this.
Speaker 2 (01:27:38):
It has it's it's it's loosely based off of another
mango anyway. Yeah, bro, I didn't have one. I didn't
have one. I searched and searched, and I just I
couldn't find one this season.
Speaker 3 (01:27:47):
Yeah, that's fair.
Speaker 4 (01:27:49):
Even zero, none, zilch, not applicable.
Speaker 3 (01:27:52):
You had none either, You said that, and I asked
you last week. That's right, that's right.
Speaker 4 (01:27:57):
You didn't watch an I was like, okay, easy, not applicable.
Speaker 3 (01:28:01):
Yep, all right.
Speaker 6 (01:28:02):
So yeah, it's just me and christad Mine was a
god apt season two, trusting the Yoku Tara vision, as
Chris called it and saying I will never trust it again,
and I said, yeah we will, Chris, Chris, we will.
Speaker 8 (01:28:16):
We definitely will.
Speaker 3 (01:28:17):
Yeah, we we we We keep coming back. We shouldn't.
But this is also the same guy that made near Anamado.
Speaker 8 (01:28:23):
So yeah, but we were denied the sex scene.
Speaker 3 (01:28:27):
We were denied the sex scene. We don't know what
we've we've been robbed.
Speaker 2 (01:28:33):
No.
Speaker 8 (01:28:33):
The producer said, like.
Speaker 3 (01:28:36):
He totally would like who you get it?
Speaker 2 (01:28:39):
What? What?
Speaker 7 (01:28:40):
What?
Speaker 4 (01:28:41):
What?
Speaker 2 (01:28:41):
What?
Speaker 8 (01:28:41):
What?
Speaker 2 (01:28:41):
What?
Speaker 9 (01:28:42):
Yoko Tar Yoko Tar wanted a sex scene between two
B and nine S and the anime. The producer said, no,
nine S wouldn't do that. He's a good boy.
Speaker 2 (01:28:53):
Nine would totally do that. He was so thirsty, Bro.
Speaker 4 (01:28:58):
Would have lit the fucking swim offer ass crack.
Speaker 2 (01:29:01):
Yes, I think, I don't even think. Let me stop,
let me stop.
Speaker 8 (01:29:06):
Yeah, yeah, don't don't give them, don't let them go.
Speaker 2 (01:29:09):
I'm not I'm not not gonna let the choose thoughts win?
Have you seen the movie as mocking them?
Speaker 3 (01:29:17):
All?
Speaker 2 (01:29:18):
Right? Man, Matt gets it up? Is the movie?
Speaker 9 (01:29:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:29:23):
Yeah? Absolutely?
Speaker 4 (01:29:26):
You give him a few ves chasing a dream where Bro,
the pop shots is nothing but oil oil all over there?
Speaker 8 (01:29:32):
You go, say, Matt, what's next?
Speaker 3 (01:29:36):
Take it to the stream like transition?
Speaker 4 (01:29:39):
I was like, is this a transition? Can we transition?
Speaker 3 (01:29:43):
Let's let's get some mood On's for best soundtrack? Best
all that jazz, Chris, what do you got?
Speaker 9 (01:29:51):
I can't give this show a lot, I really can't.
But fucking Plea still has a great fucking soundtrack because
they keep using the same ship they've been using.
Speaker 4 (01:30:02):
It's remastered, though, so it is unique. It's pretty good.
Speaker 2 (01:30:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:30:08):
That's why I can't give it any fault because it's
still the same good sound, white white fix, What's What's
Not Broken?
Speaker 2 (01:30:17):
Remaster The Greatest Hits Man d D d D.
Speaker 4 (01:30:21):
I missed that song, Like, I don't like the way
they remastered one. I was like, sound as good as
the original original fight song. When they're like Dune, you
like to hit the ultimate move.
Speaker 2 (01:30:30):
They they I wanted, like the only thing that's missing
is like they don't have to Spanish guitars from the
Iron Car season when Graham Jaw popped up, I should
have heard the whistle.
Speaker 1 (01:30:42):
That.
Speaker 2 (01:30:42):
I didn't hear that, and I was disappointed, But I
agree with Chris that's the same choice I have Bleach
doing this this remastered soundtrack. It's like, Okay, yeah, I'm
gonna roll with this, all right, Bleach Man. I'm with
Chris bro Like nobody else soundtrack made an impression on me,
but Bleats. They made me feel how I felt like
(01:31:04):
when I was twenty six watching Bleats. So it's like,
oh man, y'all brought the feelings back with these songs.
No one else was really like Dana Dang like having
the type of op that they have, you would think
that the soundtrack would be more in a line with
the opening theme but the opening theme is such an
outlier to the soundtrack they use, or soundtrack really matches
(01:31:28):
the theme that they have, but they don't have a
particular song that I can identify it. I'm like, yo,
I want to hear that on the record, you know.
And other than that, it's like, I don't know, everybody
else soundtrack tried to blend to the background. Now Rama
wouldn't have. I'll give them really props because the soundtrack
is very reminiscent of the old one, so for them
(01:31:49):
the original, so for them to like reinvent that and
really have these very quirky you're not gonna get a
soundtrack like that. That soundtrack was made purely for the scenes.
It's very a slapstick like soundtrack. It's meant for the
scenes that you get. It's and it kind of blends
with it. But there are no particular songs that like,
(01:32:10):
you hear the song and you like, I could listen
to that on the playlist, and I think Bleach is
the only one that did that. See, I don't.
Speaker 4 (01:32:18):
I'll transition to mind. I don't look at soundtrack and
stuff that I listen on the playlist. I look at
soundtrack to your points man, I like, how does it
integrate to the overall feeling that the show gives you
or that it's trying to convey, And so Bleach does
a tremendous job of doing that. I had Orbit as
my number two actually because it does give you more
impetus to the scene, more drama, more feelings, more like,
(01:32:39):
more thrilling like feelings when you watch it. But with
the finale, my number one that I gave for soundtrack
was Whispered Me a Love Song because at the end
of the day, when you look at the last little
bit of and especially if you want to go back
the last half of the series, these songs that they're
writing convey their feelings right and Star you should know
(01:33:02):
this as an artist. There are things that you can't
verbalize in real life, but you can verbalize through art, right,
whether it be little picture art or whether it be
musical art, you can convey those feelings. And so how
can a soundtrack of the season not be a show
that is making that a clear, clear motif in the
(01:33:22):
series where the girls are basically conveying their feelings through
music through art. So I went with Whispering Me a
Love Song for that.
Speaker 3 (01:33:33):
I went with Ree zero season three. It definitely fit
the mood.
Speaker 6 (01:33:39):
Like when you had like super good speech, you got
that inspiration of hope in there, when you got the urgency,
you got that in the background.
Speaker 3 (01:33:46):
We got a nice and starzone in there. I like
the music. It fit, so they usually do. Because I
really liked the season two Part two soundtrack a lot.
Speaker 2 (01:33:57):
That was so good.
Speaker 6 (01:33:58):
So you know, they did again, and it was don
a nice job getting with the elements of everthing that happened.
So yeah, that's why for me.
Speaker 3 (01:34:05):
It's real zero.
Speaker 4 (01:34:07):
That's fair.
Speaker 3 (01:34:08):
All right, Now it's time for our genres.
Speaker 2 (01:34:12):
See.
Speaker 4 (01:34:12):
I was trying to I was hoping when we were
talking about all the sexual ship you were going to
transition into the etchy first, that is that is what.
Speaker 3 (01:34:18):
I'm doing next.
Speaker 4 (01:34:19):
That's and so you fucked it up. You could have
done it then gone back and done soundtrack, then kept
on going because it was a it was a seamless
transition talking about nine s fucking and going into actually.
Speaker 2 (01:34:29):
That was that would have been adult transition.
Speaker 4 (01:34:32):
Point.
Speaker 2 (01:34:33):
I do give youthing points for you thing you should well, Okay,
I was trying. I was trying to go like in order,
like yeah, get you away from it. Yeah, because I'm
just time along for the ride.
Speaker 4 (01:34:44):
That's all Matt drives. I'm just here to to navigate
in certain ways. I tell him to go right and
there's just nothing but a fence. But I'll tell them
to go right anyway, will.
Speaker 3 (01:34:54):
Yeah, let's have some exotic cake for the Etchie fan service, Chris,
What do you have?
Speaker 9 (01:35:00):
I got myself some two point five deduction? Uh, it
was I didn't really have much to choose from this series,
but like, if I'm.
Speaker 3 (01:35:09):
Gonna go with something, I'm gonna go with the sexy
by that's fair, legit, legit, start what you got?
Speaker 2 (01:35:16):
Oh a fairy tale one hundred ear quests, Lucy Man
anytime Lucy can stunt on these holes, Lucy gonna stunt
on these holes. Once I saw Snake Lucy, it was
a rap. Once I saw Snake Lucy, it was a rap.
Once that's it. Bro I saw Snake Lucy and I
was like, oh, yeah, but this is winning. No, it
was the episode. No, what it was was it was
(01:35:39):
the episode where were Grade eight Julia and had the
spirit broke. That episode was so cronchy. That episode was
so ronchy. I was like, oh, y'all nasty, like y'all
want some freaky stuff. And then Lucy talking talking about
how she be trying to honey pot Natsu and I'm like, oh,
(01:36:00):
y'all really letting the fly this season. But that particularly episode.
But I was like, when Grace sped out loose, I
was like, oh, y'all nasty like she was. She was
in his mouth like naked, and I'm like, yo, damn,
is this y'all got me watching? Oh? But yeah, absolutely
fairy to Yeah, bro Juvia is a trip man, lo.
(01:36:20):
Juvia is a scene stealer. Juvia is a scene stealer, man,
I'm telling you so. Yeah. Absolutely fairy tale, fairy Tale
without a shower with doubt man. Yeah. And then I
don't know, man, Gray, No, they were they were doing
like like four They were doing like four play like za.
It was like in the woods like with Gadja naked.
(01:36:41):
They like they were doing.
Speaker 3 (01:36:45):
This friendship.
Speaker 2 (01:36:54):
Je law yes, j Law. Oh man, that was it.
Speaker 4 (01:36:59):
They went in.
Speaker 3 (01:37:02):
Service.
Speaker 4 (01:37:03):
I didn't watch too many. I would have given it
to ron Mont despite the fact they didn't have no nipples.
But I went with youz fiance because at least even
if it was censored. They showed intimate scenes. They showed
them like, you know, trying to funk around and things
like that, specifically with Kashima being a whole ass motherfucker.
So yeah, was a whole hole, but it's you know,
(01:37:25):
I just went with that because of those scenes and
then just the overall seductiveness of the other girls, So yeah,
I went with that. I didn't watch too many actual etchies.
Ron actually had full nudity minus like no nips, but
you know, the suggestive sexual prowess of of the characters.
I went with.
Speaker 2 (01:37:46):
Lucy sat on Natsu's face in public. She said, like
that episode, she had just a towel on. She was small,
then when she grew big butt naked fresh out the bath,
(01:38:06):
fell right on Natsu's face, and I'm like, yo, y'all
just letting the fly in this fan service episode, Bron.
Speaker 4 (01:38:11):
I just want you to know that I checked the
viewers and I had one viewer that popped in. I
literally watched it on my name and you said, Bro,
she sat on his face in public, and that you
were left. I just watched you to know.
Speaker 2 (01:38:25):
I was like, I'm gone. You were talking about like
no nipples and ship I don't.
Speaker 4 (01:38:32):
Know how long they were there for, but as soon
as they said sat in his face in public, Bye, Matt,
what was yourious?
Speaker 6 (01:38:39):
I did seduction last season, so this season I'm doing ramba.
I mean, they're fine, fine, even though there's no nips,
they fine. Rama got curves, bro shampoole got curves.
Speaker 8 (01:38:53):
No communism. What are we even watching this for?
Speaker 2 (01:38:58):
I came for that, fans for the plat, the plat plot.
Speaker 4 (01:39:03):
There's no thighs. What are we talking about?
Speaker 2 (01:39:05):
Oh? Just way to the Beach episode? Mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (01:39:08):
All right, now let's do the deep fried twinkie a
ka sci fi? Chris? What was your sci fi? If
you had any?
Speaker 8 (01:39:16):
My sci fi is Maggie Lanier.
Speaker 2 (01:39:19):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (01:39:20):
For the simple fact is, uh, the magic isn't really magic.
It's it's magic. But they got it do all this
like technical They got to create the magic. They gotta
test it out in like manner of minutes girls in
order to defeat their defeat the monsters.
Speaker 8 (01:39:38):
It's uh uh yeah, that's that's what I'm getting it too.
Speaker 3 (01:39:43):
Star.
Speaker 2 (01:39:43):
Did you have any uh hmmmm fi? Yeah. I don't
know if this is gonna be allowed, but uh, I'm
giving it a Shangra lat front here. I mean they
did have a mecha he had to make episode in
this season. I was like, oh, season two, get me,
(01:40:03):
it's like three. They did a whole many many new
game art that pissed off half of the fan base,
But I thought it was legits.
Speaker 8 (01:40:14):
What your face by the mac r It didn't need
to be that long.
Speaker 2 (01:40:23):
I mean no, the mech art, it showed me insight
into how son Rocu is like really that this gamer
it wasn't just limited to My only thing was like, bro,
I want to see a meal. Can we get back
to the cute bunny and this game? Like y'all really
doing some cool ship like like okay. But I did
appreciate how the animators really did you know, they really
(01:40:45):
did get into they animated it well, it didn't. It
didn't look out of sorts. It looked like a completely
different anime. And that's what I appreciated.
Speaker 4 (01:40:53):
Even going with the show that actually had legitimate science
and it legit I would is that not sci fi?
Its legit science?
Speaker 8 (01:41:03):
Yes, but that's not science fiction.
Speaker 4 (01:41:06):
Based on science reality.
Speaker 2 (01:41:08):
That's not science fiction.
Speaker 4 (01:41:10):
Astronomy is a part of science.
Speaker 3 (01:41:12):
No, BROI it's not it's a drama.
Speaker 2 (01:41:17):
Bro. There is not a piece of technology in that
entire show. Like, they don't even use telescopes. They still
using their eyes. Bro, ain't no Starship Enterprise.
Speaker 4 (01:41:27):
They're doing calculations. It's still doing math. To me, that
science doesn't count.
Speaker 2 (01:41:32):
That's not Star Trek. Bro, that's not Star Wars. That's
that's that's like.
Speaker 4 (01:41:36):
Have any science fiction, then you have gun Gal.
Speaker 3 (01:41:39):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (01:41:41):
Gun Gel is science fiction. Bro, give it the gun Gal.
That's science fiction.
Speaker 4 (01:41:47):
I went with.
Speaker 2 (01:41:47):
I went with a video game. You're talking about a
VR video game that doesn't exist. That science, Bro, this
is from the same world. People played that game got
trapped in for a year and died if they died
in the game.
Speaker 4 (01:42:00):
No universe, not the same world.
Speaker 2 (01:42:03):
It's the same universe as s A. Oh so, yes,
this is science fiction.
Speaker 4 (01:42:07):
I don't want to give it there.
Speaker 2 (01:42:09):
I mean, you can't give it or it's not.
Speaker 4 (01:42:11):
It's so adamant about the show that has legit science
with astronomy count for silence.
Speaker 2 (01:42:17):
He's a literal. He's like, Bro, it's science.
Speaker 4 (01:42:20):
Why Doctor Stone do I think Doctor that I'm watching
the season most of them.
Speaker 2 (01:42:27):
No, Doctor Stone and science fiction because that's why you
was giving it a doctor Stone this entire time, because
it's little thought.
Speaker 8 (01:42:36):
But the reason Doctor Stone is because it's a post
apocalyptic world.
Speaker 4 (01:42:42):
I don't give a funk about that. I care about
the fact that they're making fucking cell phones out of racks.
That's why I care about it.
Speaker 2 (01:42:53):
I'm mad. I don't have my boy, Bro found effect
so bad that hit me with a sound effect. Oh
my god. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:43:13):
To change of the gun, Gil, because I mean, where
did it happen on my hold on, let me go
back to my real quick for ships and giggles under
sci fi for the year number one year.
Speaker 2 (01:43:28):
Bro, hold on, hold on, see we we look. There
is no technology that exists in or that we have
not created and surpassed.
Speaker 4 (01:43:38):
There is no there is telescopes. What's the stations the
telescope we have?
Speaker 2 (01:43:46):
We surpassed the technology. I feel like bro Ethan, I'm
just saying, if it's science fiction like Doctor Stone, all
the technology Bro to work. Agree agree they have? There's
no aliens, There's no yeah, Bro, It's like Bro, it
gotta be just something like out of worldly, like insane
technology that we don't have humanly possible at this point, can.
Speaker 4 (01:44:09):
I give it the Tower of God. It's not sci fi,
it's they got the little things, little the little orbs
that counted cell phones.
Speaker 2 (01:44:17):
Bro. You use anti list and m A L bro
do they do? They designate a tag.
Speaker 4 (01:44:22):
For astronomy equals science. Science in science fiction equals orb.
That's literally my deduction. That was one of the first
awards I gave.
Speaker 3 (01:44:33):
Hollo, I am going to give you stuff that is
for science.
Speaker 4 (01:44:37):
Fiction, please, because clearly I'm fucking and you are. Yes,
but I'm near the black hole of the universe and
better where the fuck you guys are at?
Speaker 3 (01:44:45):
Yeah, we have gun Gale, Demon Lawer twenty twenty nine
and the show Chris.
Speaker 2 (01:44:50):
That's my second choice.
Speaker 4 (01:44:51):
All right, well fuck, that's the only word one.
Speaker 2 (01:44:57):
Yeah, and if I can't give mine a strangle Lite Frontier.
Originally I was gonna give it to twenty ninety nine
because it was magic. Then it turned the technology.
Speaker 3 (01:45:04):
But do you want do you want to Demon Lord?
You're gonna keep the Shanger Love oh.
Speaker 2 (01:45:09):
Shangle Lot Phase. I'm keeping it because I much prefer
that show. The twenty twenty nine it's my most disappointing.
It doesn't need any more awards.
Speaker 6 (01:45:19):
That don gil fine, move on, yeah, shanger love because
I didn't have a sci fi still.
Speaker 4 (01:45:28):
I got right now, thanks mate, give me boogoo.
Speaker 2 (01:45:31):
Face, your boo boo drap face egg on your face
face big.
Speaker 4 (01:45:35):
Time right now.
Speaker 3 (01:45:36):
Well you want always hear the crush dreams.
Speaker 4 (01:45:42):
I could suck my left nut science fiction all right.
Speaker 6 (01:45:45):
Now, let's go with some Tako Yaki for the super
Sorry dom. That's our opera cake. For best music or sports,
because that is a new thing. If you don't have
any music that me.
Speaker 2 (01:45:57):
We have a sports Oh I could, I'm playing to
We have this tradition.
Speaker 3 (01:46:01):
I didn't realize they are low for both. We're just
gonna mix them together.
Speaker 4 (01:46:06):
Oh ship, okay, well cool?
Speaker 9 (01:46:09):
Another award, Well, I don't want to give it to
I didn't want to give it to fucking whist for
me a love song, because fucking hockey does not deserve happiness.
Speaker 3 (01:46:18):
I want to.
Speaker 4 (01:46:20):
Hate ship.
Speaker 3 (01:46:21):
He's like, women don't deserve happiness.
Speaker 8 (01:46:24):
No, no, hockey doesn't deserve happy.
Speaker 3 (01:46:26):
He hates the women's hockey. She's a.
Speaker 4 (01:46:32):
She holds the cun She did nothing wrong, she did
nothing wrong, she had the ultimate face.
Speaker 2 (01:46:41):
She she.
Speaker 4 (01:46:43):
She's like, well, I can't get the girl that I want.
I'm get the girl that's throwing it at me, so
at least I get some box no.
Speaker 6 (01:46:48):
Blue all right, So Chris, we're doing blue box and
blue lock, blue box box, blue box.
Speaker 3 (01:46:54):
Okay, yeah, off the rails saying your blue box.
Speaker 2 (01:47:01):
Also, yeah, I'm blue boxing it.
Speaker 3 (01:47:03):
What about you?
Speaker 2 (01:47:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:47:05):
I think it's you, ess Actually blue.
Speaker 2 (01:47:06):
Box it is blue Box. Now my first unanimous award. Guys, congratulations,
all right, let's party.
Speaker 3 (01:47:14):
Did we did we have Did we have any last season?
Speaker 2 (01:47:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:47:17):
Yeah, like two. I think alright, let's.
Speaker 3 (01:47:19):
Get that baby on blue Box by defaults.
Speaker 4 (01:47:25):
Crazy do I come to think of it? Do I
have any sports for the remainder of the the year
outside of the blue Box? That's another question?
Speaker 3 (01:47:33):
That sports or music you know I have?
Speaker 2 (01:47:36):
Did you say, Ron, Yeah, it's martial arts fnically Yeah,
I guess.
Speaker 4 (01:47:41):
That's the point. Actually, I'm not gonna I'm gonna argue
that one, all right now.
Speaker 3 (01:47:47):
Takoyaki scicive life.
Speaker 4 (01:47:52):
Cat, that's his award.
Speaker 8 (01:47:57):
Oh I also went with blue Box on this one too, hmm.
Speaker 2 (01:48:00):
Okay, I went went two point five dimensional Seduction its
cos cosplay man absolutely absolutely flight for life cosplay. That's
how they did with cosplay, and it was just it
was cute. I really enjoyed the show a whole lot.
Speaker 3 (01:48:19):
All right, what about you?
Speaker 4 (01:48:21):
Blue Box is the better show. But in terms of
capturing the essence of Slice of Life, I went with
my most my most disappointing, Guys Mixer. It's only other
award at one. At the end of the day, Guys
Mixer is still the story of six college age folks
going to college and working part time and discovering feelings
and doing cool shit outside of like school and work.
(01:48:43):
So it's fit.
Speaker 8 (01:48:45):
I can't given the award to Hockey.
Speaker 4 (01:48:47):
I give it the Hockey. If anything, the majority of
the world goes to Suo and.
Speaker 3 (01:48:51):
To all Right, for me, it is Sumer Show or
The Elementary Wife because it's dealt with like the life
of grief. People process that I loved one and yeah,
it's not always like a happy type of thing. Sometimes
they can be very depressed, and they captured that really well.
So that's why I gave it to you.
Speaker 4 (01:49:13):
Really a happy thing.
Speaker 2 (01:49:15):
Revenge, revenge, revenge.
Speaker 3 (01:49:20):
Yeah, yeah, you get shipped, like.
Speaker 2 (01:49:23):
But just look, all they gotta do is get ready
to see g I super suits, bro, and we we
we gotta hit season two, bro, because the Internet was
loud enough to let them know.
Speaker 3 (01:49:37):
That's the season two not watch again.
Speaker 2 (01:49:40):
Yeah yeah, bro, like the Internet, I pray the inner.
I pray we can sign it the headge hot and
into cameoy like and you know what I mean. I
pray that I pray that we can like we can
like bitch enough to like the creators be like, Bro,
we weren't feeling that that Mo capp that Mo cap
super suit ship. Bro, Like, no, just give us Ninja ship.
We don't need none of that cg I super suit ship. Bro.
(01:50:01):
Stop it.
Speaker 3 (01:50:02):
If not, I'm going to burn the building.
Speaker 4 (01:50:05):
Okay, animation.
Speaker 3 (01:50:08):
And maybe those one will get a.
Speaker 2 (01:50:09):
Budget insurance budget.
Speaker 3 (01:50:14):
I've got this Halloween cake in here for best Supernatural.
Speaker 2 (01:50:18):
Hey you go, you'll be like your boy.
Speaker 8 (01:50:25):
We got everything here.
Speaker 9 (01:50:26):
We got ghosts, we got psychics, we got fucking aliens,
we got the whole fucking works, all right, star.
Speaker 2 (01:50:33):
Man Supernatural Yep, yeah yeah, don Bro, it's like come
on man, like that's that's it's no Bro. It's like
ghosts Man missing missing golden testicles and and dancing like
dancing demons that give you superpowers, Like, Bro, what the
fuck am my wife.
Speaker 3 (01:50:50):
In big boxing boxing aliens.
Speaker 2 (01:50:54):
Like a crowd or shrimp that can box? Like, oh yes,
let's sign me up.
Speaker 4 (01:51:00):
You pick it back?
Speaker 3 (01:51:01):
What did you pick that as your I picked that
it should be unanimous.
Speaker 2 (01:51:05):
But Ethan just wanted to be a stickler. Yeah it's
too weird.
Speaker 3 (01:51:10):
It's too weird for him. But that's yeah, that's not
my how you are.
Speaker 2 (01:51:15):
I don't get it, bro, because you would have loved
you would have cried at the light at the ballerina
like acrobat Silky episode.
Speaker 4 (01:51:21):
You the cry, Bro, I probably, Yeah, that's only That's
the only thing. Everything else is I've just had my
eyebrows raised at the time Christ.
Speaker 2 (01:51:28):
And then that romance is so special. But keep going.
Speaker 4 (01:51:30):
She's hot. Don't get me wrong. I love all the
dose in with But I said.
Speaker 2 (01:51:34):
Granny, Oh I'm not just talking about there, do my bad?
Keep going, Granny loved.
Speaker 4 (01:51:42):
Yeah, Turbo Granny can get it. Yeah I've seen that too.
Speaker 2 (01:51:45):
No, not turbo granted, but keep going.
Speaker 4 (01:51:48):
Thought it was a journey. Okay, sorry, okay, I'm supernatural.
I picked three zero. Does that count?
Speaker 3 (01:51:55):
Yeah? It counts.
Speaker 4 (01:51:56):
Okay, I picked three zero You got a live right,
that's I mean, they got powers they fucking have. They're creepy.
The sim Bishops are fucking uh what's it called? Yeah,
what's it called?
Speaker 7 (01:52:11):
They?
Speaker 4 (01:52:11):
I mean it's pretty warped when you think about one
of the sim Bishops can turn people into sucking anything,
including dragons and spiders and creepy ship and yeah. And
then the other person with being able to like control
people with emotions. Uh, pretty creepy and fucked. So it's
about all not much to it. But because I don't
really have any supernaturals, and I was like, oh, zero fifths,
(01:52:32):
all right, now.
Speaker 3 (01:52:33):
Let's gets some shrip tempora in for mystery slash thriller.
Speaker 9 (01:52:38):
Mystery, I'm going with a show that no one here
spats pas Fait of the Majority.
Speaker 2 (01:52:47):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (01:52:47):
It was interesting when it first aired, where it was
a oh hey, time to kill off half of the
cast and then bringing them back and it turned into
this weird uh out with supernatural powers.
Speaker 8 (01:53:02):
But then by the end of the.
Speaker 9 (01:53:04):
Show it turned itself around and I really enjoyed it.
What's the name of it, Tasu Katsu Fait of the Majority.
Speaker 3 (01:53:13):
Okay, so I was trying to trying to find the
Pito might have kee going going.
Speaker 2 (01:53:18):
That was That was it?
Speaker 3 (01:53:20):
Okay, so start around what's yours?
Speaker 2 (01:53:24):
All right, I'm gonna go with Ray zero. Ray zero
was an absolute thriller. The first three episodes alone were
just thrilling, like just it was just NonStop like death,
like what's gonna happen? Like it just it was all gas,
no breaks. The first three episodes, like with episode one,
(01:53:44):
was this long movie. Then you get to the end.
Then every episode after that was like pretty much was
the first two three minutes like something tragic, tragic is happening,
and they're just really trying to figure out, like yo,
if there are real high stakes, Like the stakes were
so high. Yeah, and I really appreciate this takes being
so high. It wasn't the mystery, it just it was
(01:54:05):
just so thrilling. It was just everything was going constantly.
Speaker 4 (01:54:09):
Mm hmmm, same zero. At the end of the day,
Re zero is up there, I think in the top
five anime of this of this. I guess you could say,
damn near this generation when you think about it's only
twenty something years, but it's up there in terms of
easy easy top ten, probably top five easy in terms
of like thrilling anime. Keep you at the edge of
your seat. You don't know which way the roller coaster
(01:54:31):
is going to turn, which twist, how sinister that turn
is going to be. It keeps you, really keeps your
heart pounding a lot from that perspective, So zero's up there.
It is one of the top notch thrillers in all
of anime.
Speaker 2 (01:54:44):
All right.
Speaker 3 (01:54:45):
Uh for me, I went with the mystery aspect, So
for that, I'm actually gonna give it to be Stars.
Speaker 4 (01:54:51):
Oh, there different introductions.
Speaker 3 (01:54:53):
He did it good for to try to figure out,
like we're trying to learn about more about melon, the
black market, this a new drug that's an energy drink.
Speaker 6 (01:55:09):
We'll just get to held that. They did a really
nice built up of it. So that's why I'm getting
that to be Stars.
Speaker 9 (01:55:16):
But I heard from our mutual friend Matt that they
like took Legocy and Louis out of that search, so
like when they rated the place.
Speaker 6 (01:55:28):
Yeah, there's a few things that cut out that I
wish they didn't. So that's only like a damn it.
But I guess it didn't translate well in animu. But whatever,
let us have hold on. Let's guts from Sushi in
for adventure and what's your best adventure?
Speaker 8 (01:55:50):
With loner life in another world?
Speaker 9 (01:55:53):
A kid in this entire class guests readincarnated or not
being carnated some to another world by old man God
uh and he by himself or rather him being a loner,
travels around with trying to travel around uh with his.
Speaker 8 (01:56:13):
Classmates, even though it uh he just wants to be
on his own.
Speaker 2 (01:56:18):
It was.
Speaker 8 (01:56:19):
It was a good story and it fit well with
the genre.
Speaker 3 (01:56:23):
Okay, uh starrn, I'm.
Speaker 2 (01:56:25):
Gonna give this from the Shan front here as well.
It was a it was a very fun. The adventure
is always fun because it's just a game. It's it's
a it's an action adventure game. And they do a
good job with the court with season two getting it
back to sun ROCKU in any Meal sun Rocking the meal,
(01:56:48):
it was like, look, we gotta get we gotta level up.
So he went back to grinding, figuring things out, you know,
fighting the scorpions, you know, getting new moves. He's just
like and I really enjoyed that, like just just the
whole adventure, like it's an adventure game. Like they really
got like me deep in it, and I appreciated that,
so I just went ahead and give that some more love.
(01:57:10):
It was just that a fairy tale. As much as
I do love fairy tale, that is literally in the
name of the show. But I'm a little biased. I
really like shankle Lie.
Speaker 3 (01:57:20):
What about Youthan.
Speaker 14 (01:57:22):
I wanted to give it the Tower of God. Was
that accounted as an adventure? Which one Tower of God? Yes,
that that counts as an adventure. No, I didn't give
it the Tower of God because I was like, it
was if he didn't move. I thought it was more
of like a shown in type anime. So I gave
it to Dima.
Speaker 4 (01:57:37):
Things simply because of the fact that, I mean, they're
on an adventure to try and capture the dragon balls,
and they're on a whole other planet, and they're on
the planet, they're meaning all these different creatures. So I
felt like the purest simplistic aspect of the word adventure.
I thought that that fitted well. I think if it's
a little bit better than Tower, even though Tower is
the far more superior anime.
Speaker 8 (01:58:01):
Picture.
Speaker 2 (01:58:03):
You didn't expect, yeah, Like Matt did not expect to
give any wars to Diamond.
Speaker 3 (01:58:09):
He was like, yeah, hope off.
Speaker 4 (01:58:15):
I mean, it's we both gave it a three point
two five.
Speaker 6 (01:58:17):
So but uh yeah, well while I'm doing that, I
also gave it to a shanger Left Frontiers.
Speaker 3 (01:58:26):
They ventured a video game. They aventured two different video
games that came out nice. So I was very happy with.
Speaker 4 (01:58:32):
The it's a third show. That would have been unanimous
that I watched the show.
Speaker 3 (01:58:37):
That that's ad award.
Speaker 4 (01:58:39):
Third award, Yeah, third ward.
Speaker 2 (01:58:41):
Finishing a lot might might have annoyed you, but then again,
I don't know, because there's no fanservicing it.
Speaker 3 (01:58:47):
Well, you also thought they were like trapped in the
video game.
Speaker 4 (01:58:50):
I thought it was like Overlord type thing, and I
was like, I'm already watching Overlord.
Speaker 2 (01:58:54):
Yeah, it's not Overlords. It's later. A little guy can
get in the game, check out the game whenever he wants.
It was just in this game, and the person is
in the game. It's like, if you're a gamer, you
you like it. It's like, yo, y'a, don't think you
even have to be a game to enjoy it. But
everyone I know who is a gamer enjoys it.
Speaker 4 (01:59:10):
But I'm not the say, a person that enjoys watching
other people play video games. I'm going twitch and care
about off. Do something with your life that's important to me.
Making money playing video games? You loser, okay, boomer fu Yeah,
fuck out of here. Hey, we support all the illegals.
Send them on the fucking fields.
Speaker 2 (01:59:27):
Whoa, whoa, whoa whoa. This isn't that type of podcast.
Speaker 3 (01:59:32):
I'm not saying, don't body had mister Florida.
Speaker 4 (01:59:38):
I'm just saying I'm not advocating that we should.
Speaker 3 (01:59:41):
I'm just saying Trump does it.
Speaker 2 (01:59:43):
Bro. Bro, Bro, bro Bro, We're not We're not trying
out for them. We're not trying out for the Daily Beast. Bro.
We're not trying to get on this is This is Matt,
not Matt Walsh. I need you to know who this
is eating. Yeah man' rot bro.
Speaker 3 (02:00:08):
Uh, now serve some karaate the best comedy.
Speaker 8 (02:00:13):
This is another show. I'm the only one who's watching.
Uh Broad Trip.
Speaker 9 (02:00:17):
Ah, it was fucking hilarious just uh watching I was
laughing my ass off watching the show. Uh, it was
funny watching the fail or the interactions or rather the
main antagonists. Uh just like fuck around and uh try
(02:00:41):
to do his best to defeat the Magical Girl, but
like ultimately like uh, just failing horribly starmn.
Speaker 2 (02:00:50):
Best comedy yep. Oh Man, Rama was pretty freaking funny.
Man Ramo one half bro Ramo was funny. Rama one
was legit. I laughed like it's it's funny, it's a
good comedy. It's even stuff I come to expect, it's
it's funny. I enjoyed it. I will say two point
five believe it or Not, was a close second, because
(02:01:12):
two point five is funny when it wants to get funny.
But it's a different type of funny. But definitely Rama.
Speaker 4 (02:01:17):
I'm specially didn't go with the with.
Speaker 2 (02:01:23):
Is funny like like Dunda done is. I don't know,
it's a different type of I don't know.
Speaker 8 (02:01:27):
I didn't watch it for the comedy.
Speaker 3 (02:01:29):
I watched it for the like everything else. Yeah, that's fair.
Speaker 4 (02:01:33):
I get it. Rama too. Out of all the shows, uh,
there was the most consistent show, and I laughed a
lot at first during like the first four episodes. I
would have given it the guys next, sure, but then
I just got more and more annoyed. And even though
Rama did annoy me with the figure skating arc in general,
I still laughed at the majority of other episode, so yeah,
I give it rama to Rama.
Speaker 6 (02:01:51):
Also, I'm almost yeah, I had a lot of fun
with it, so all right, let's get some uh get
some here, best fantasy.
Speaker 9 (02:02:05):
I'm also giving this one to uh loner loaner life
in another world.
Speaker 2 (02:02:11):
Uh.
Speaker 8 (02:02:12):
Yes, it's basic reincarnation story. But I enjoyed the world
that they were in.
Speaker 2 (02:02:17):
Uh.
Speaker 8 (02:02:18):
Rather, I enjoyed how the main character made use of his.
Speaker 9 (02:02:24):
Abilities uh in the fantasy world because uh basic premises.
He gets transported last because he tried to get away
from the something circle, so he had to pick up.
He had to get all the like trash skills, titles
and all that ship, and he was able to make
do with it and come out better than all his
(02:02:46):
classmates who got broken ship.
Speaker 2 (02:02:48):
Sarah, you're making me question something hm hmmm yeah Ray zero,
Yeah yeah, yeah, Yeah, that's how I got to say.
It's Ray zero. That's fantasy absolutely m magic death. You
didn't rap it dragons all around dragons yeah, dragons, yeah,
(02:03:13):
give me dragons. Gave me dragons and you got it.
Sorry fairy tale fairy tales like fuck.
Speaker 4 (02:03:20):
Uh. I already gave two fucking genres to a reservo,
so I couldn't fathom giving it a third, So I
gave it the Tower of God.
Speaker 3 (02:03:27):
I actually wrote down zero I expect. I was trying
to call it, but.
Speaker 4 (02:03:33):
He no, I gave it, I bro I gave it.
Speaker 2 (02:03:37):
I didn't.
Speaker 4 (02:03:37):
I didn't want to do a ronmo where I or not.
I'm sorry, Ragna where I fucking went and gave it
like three different things again?
Speaker 3 (02:03:44):
Well, uh mine is also zero, man. I love I
love the whole world of zero in general stuff. They
do a great job with that.
Speaker 4 (02:03:55):
I'll tell you what though. Another reason why I didn't
give it because I want to save it for maybe
next season, never know. I mean, granted, though we have
solo level ones that's probably gonna take a lot of them.
Speaker 2 (02:04:04):
But I'm giving stuff now because this is a week.
Winner was pretty weak all things considered. But spring, I mean,
I'm not winter, butro Fall was kind of weak. But
winter when winter is comingy a hot.
Speaker 3 (02:04:15):
As I said, That's why I'm That's why I'm giving
majority of Mind the Fall.
Speaker 2 (02:04:19):
Now.
Speaker 6 (02:04:20):
Yeah, all right, let's get you read velvets Cake for
best romance. What's the red velvet romance romance? Oh, I'm
giving this to uh China out with mcgamy's sister No
not choice.
Speaker 8 (02:04:40):
I enjoyed Uh.
Speaker 9 (02:04:42):
I've read the manga before this, and I was really
looking forward to this due to it being by the
same Bye and I think it was an assistant to
the guy who made Uh.
Speaker 4 (02:04:54):
The other one.
Speaker 9 (02:04:55):
The romance series with the five sisters Quin Tublets Tablets, Yeah, Quins,
and I really enjoyed it. The girls are cute, They're
all different personalities. They're not all uh immediately bitchy towards
main character. Main character while also a study freak, he
(02:05:18):
has his own like aspirations as.
Speaker 8 (02:05:20):
To why he does. And they all and the girls
all have good chemistry with the main character.
Speaker 3 (02:05:27):
All right, son, who are you?
Speaker 2 (02:05:29):
I'm going then to then this that man that romance
between like Ken and I say, it's just so fucking adorable.
I don't know what it is. I think the episode
they Got Me was the episode where they were looking
for each other. They couldn't find each other, and they
kept missing each other, and then when they finally ran
into each other, they accidentally kissed. And then from there
(02:05:52):
he's getting jealous of him, and you know, and then
he gets a girl that didn't like him who likes
him and now she's like, like, it's the episode when
a new guy comes in and everybody's looking at him
walking in the house, and like she's looking straight at
Can like nothing else is in the word. And I
was like, oh yeah, I love this, this romance, like
(02:06:12):
it's just so much like I stay for everything else.
But Donda done, Like the history that I know about
the show is the creator. It's a romance. It was
meant to be a romance. And he was like, all right,
it's just going to be a very unique romance. But
the essence of the show is a romance, and I
think they do a great job layering the romance even
(02:06:33):
with the rest of the cake.
Speaker 3 (02:06:35):
Okay, I just.
Speaker 4 (02:06:37):
Want to say how weak the romances were in Fall
and Principle, So I just wanted to make that point.
It's so weak that I almost gave it to Whisper
Me a love song, except for the fact that I
gave it by default in another week romance season, which
was a spring I believe it was. It was also
fairly weak, and it won by default. Even if it
wasn't complete, it still won my romance. I didn't want
to give it twice in a row, obviously, so I
gave it to the show where the couple is going
(02:06:58):
to get married, and that's three in sixty five days
until the wedding. The finale really really really sold it.
I'm gonna get more into it, and we talk about
it in our top list. Made it by default, but
nonetheless the finale really sold it and really like took
home the romance of the season. I was gonna give
it to Yakuza, but realistically, I.
Speaker 2 (02:07:18):
You know, my rule of like, oh there is no
romance in that show.
Speaker 4 (02:07:21):
Yeah, it's like, you know, I can't really deal with
Karashima being fucking so like creepy and obsessive and fucked
up really to Yoshino and Yoshino being a complete bitch
to him in return, and he's getting turned on by it.
I can you. I couldn't fathom giving it to it.
And then the guy's mixer was, as I mentioned before,
I fucking dud when it came to the romance when
it was all said and done, so that was fucking whack.
(02:07:42):
So three sixty five wins in essence by default. If
actually I'm lying, if I could have kound of Blue Box,
I would have unanimously been blue.
Speaker 3 (02:07:48):
Box but you're saving it for winter.
Speaker 4 (02:07:52):
And I don't know whether that's a good idea or not,
given that we've got so many strong ones.
Speaker 3 (02:07:57):
Well you could well if the ass the ass, that's fine, Yeah,
Blue Blox, I am going to say for that, I
probably would have done down to don But I think
that as a romance show, I just put it in
good conscience, even though I liked them. But for like,
(02:08:18):
that's a show that is just say romans to general
I just kind of gave the rama it's build up
of it.
Speaker 2 (02:08:24):
That's my original choice, by the way, but I get why.
Speaker 3 (02:08:29):
It was more of like, if I had to say
it as an actual legit romance show that's like the
focus of it, it would be rama was a.
Speaker 4 (02:08:36):
Little too slow. That would be my one critique of
the romance aspect. From that perspective, I thought it was.
Speaker 2 (02:08:39):
A little rama. Yeah, yeah, it's it's if it's really like,
without spoiling anything, if if rama has so many love
interests you like, yeah, bro, if yeah, it's a comedy
before anything goes heard.
Speaker 3 (02:08:57):
Alrighty now let us get let's get some action in here.
Speaker 8 (02:09:03):
This is an obvious choice. I'm giving it to Frontier
for season two.
Speaker 2 (02:09:08):
For action, yep, for action, I'm going with Bleach. But okay,
I'm going with Bleach.
Speaker 3 (02:09:14):
I got.
Speaker 2 (02:09:16):
Oh split down in the middle civil War split.
Speaker 4 (02:09:23):
I mean, I'm your trench mate, Sean. Let's go, let's go.
Speaker 2 (02:09:28):
I will say, though, like like shankar Law action wise,
like it's the action that I really wanted. Didn't like
this final fight that we're getting right now with the
with the with the like hunt. It's like, bro, it's
who does that? Man who starts to fight at the
end of a core just to pick it up in
the next one. I'm like, bro, why did I do that?
Speaker 3 (02:09:51):
Like?
Speaker 2 (02:09:51):
Why did I do that? Y'all? Literally?
Speaker 15 (02:09:53):
Really, I really wanted to give it a fight the season,
but yeah, who starts a creepy uh possible? No, no
scene at the end of the arc, and you have
to wait till July to see the continuation.
Speaker 3 (02:10:09):
Yeah, oh god, alright, let's move on our last genre,
the depression cake best drama.
Speaker 9 (02:10:18):
I have to give it to give it to this,
even though I once again cannot finish the season because
man Hiatus came and cast me over, I gotta give
it to don Lachi.
Speaker 8 (02:10:28):
This whole arc has just been drama.
Speaker 9 (02:10:30):
With Belle being or with Freya U charming the entire
city of Orao, Uh to not remembering bell as the
the the original member of Hestia's Familiar, him losing all
of his friends, and Uh being gas lit by the
(02:10:53):
entire by Freya and her followers to be like, oh no,
You've always.
Speaker 8 (02:10:58):
Been a part of us. Don't be crazy. Just sleep
with her already. It was so good.
Speaker 9 (02:11:04):
I want to I want the end of this fucking
season because I would have given this the best fight.
Speaker 8 (02:11:09):
But don't we have to cut it off right at
the end.
Speaker 2 (02:11:12):
M hm, start your Cluza fiance. That's that's that drama.
That's drama. All of the they whole thing was drama.
I'm talking about every time like it's I don't know, man,
it's it's every time yo, you know was on the scene.
It was like drama. Every time Karishman drama, your Cuza drama,
(02:11:37):
like childhood friend drama. And then he gets her into
his drama. Gets man, it was just like bro y'all
so messy. But I just love it. I just love
they toxic, messy drama. I loved it. I need yo
make this a K drama and I'm in. I am
fucking in, bro make this a k drama and I'm in.
Speaker 3 (02:12:00):
Kate Drama's great. The koreans Man the drama.
Speaker 4 (02:12:03):
I got like fifteen right now. I don't know when
I'll ever get to them, but I've got like.
Speaker 3 (02:12:07):
Twenty of them in the What's Your Drama?
Speaker 4 (02:12:10):
The one that you didn't let me count for fucking
science fiction or there you go?
Speaker 2 (02:12:14):
Yeah, there you go, Broo a lot of titchen, A
lot of titchen, roa a lot of tension.
Speaker 4 (02:12:22):
That's why I watched it down with Blue Box to
make myself feel better because the tension was palpable.
Speaker 2 (02:12:26):
Yo put it in his mouth opening it up. Hey yo, Yo,
No chill, bro like take me out first, like.
Speaker 6 (02:12:43):
Oh boy, yeah, mine's also orb or al right here now,
let's let's have let's let's add some nice tea, let's
just cool, let's just wash down all this fear.
Speaker 3 (02:12:52):
This one is going to be best visuals, Chris.
Speaker 8 (02:12:56):
I'm giving this to the stories of girls who couldn't
come magicians.
Speaker 2 (02:13:01):
Uh.
Speaker 8 (02:13:02):
It has a very uh uh, it has a very
unique uh.
Speaker 9 (02:13:09):
I want to say it's like, well, a very unique
hand drawing style that you don't see again nowadays with
how people are adopting your art style.
Speaker 2 (02:13:22):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (02:13:23):
It's made by j c's staff, which also did demon
LAYD twenty ninety nine, which is and Magulumer which they're
known for making good ship. Uh so yeah, I really
enjoyed how this show looked.
Speaker 2 (02:13:36):
An that's my choice, Like the water colors from the
first episode off the show, when you when you get
to meet these girls at this academy, and it's a
familiar familiar trope, people who can't do magic at a
school for magic got to figure out how to do magic.
But the way that the water colors and the practical
(02:13:56):
effects and the three D animation all blend together, and
they because they use a lot of pinks, a lot
of yellow's, a lot of blues they use and it's flat,
like the animation is really flat. But then when it's
three D at Pops, there is no other show that
looks like it. I would say Originally, initially it was
between this and Dealy Colds Nursery because Delic Codes Nursery
(02:14:17):
the visuals for that show are classic hand drawn type animation,
so it was really hard to choose between the two.
But it's it's just it's Chris pointed out, Uh story,
the stories of girls who couldn't become magicians is just
way more vivid. It's just way more bright, way more vivid.
And yeah, there's something special about how they animate that one.
(02:14:39):
So yeah, visually, it's it's stunning.
Speaker 4 (02:14:42):
Even sixty dollars one.
Speaker 3 (02:14:44):
What was visuals?
Speaker 4 (02:14:46):
Visuals it does it does visuals quite well, all right.
Speaker 3 (02:14:51):
The mine is or especially with with the starry sky
and everything.
Speaker 4 (02:14:57):
With that's that is very fair. That is fair.
Speaker 6 (02:15:01):
Yeah, they're good to have catch in the essence of
again the stars, the night sky and the scenery around
it too.
Speaker 4 (02:15:10):
Yeah, you'll get all right.
Speaker 3 (02:15:14):
While you do that, we're going to do our devil
food cake. Best antagonists. I'm giving this to Freya. I'm
giving this to Fraya.
Speaker 9 (02:15:26):
Not because she's like evil mega mia maniacal villain.
Speaker 8 (02:15:31):
She's a damaged villain. Uh not going into major spoilers spoilers,
but like, is this from.
Speaker 2 (02:15:43):
Uh her?
Speaker 9 (02:15:45):
She basically uh wants to find this one person who
like who's or this one soul It doesn't even have
to be like one soul that messes with her that
she believes that will give her the love that she
desired because she's the goddess of love and she's doing
(02:16:05):
whatever it can, whatever she can in order to get
that love.
Speaker 2 (02:16:09):
Ah.
Speaker 8 (02:16:10):
Well, before she does all the mind altering charm shit, uh,
she like reveals that, uh, the character you know as
Seer has actually been her this entire time to Relie
also has feelings for Belle, and she's like, hey, we
can totally share bell I know you have a thing
(02:16:31):
for him. You don't have to fight.
Speaker 9 (02:16:33):
And it just shows that like she's willing to do
whatever it takes to get her love even though the uh,
no matter what it takes, all right, Sarah, all right.
Speaker 2 (02:16:50):
No a, I'm gonna be add like in the suspense
man like he is a villain of all villains. No,
he's a villain. He is a villain. Bro. Like, if
nothing convinced me more than the latest episode, and I
know we would transition into the second half of this season,
but it's it's it's just a torture. It's just a delight.
(02:17:12):
And it's not even the delight the lack of emotion
and apathy. It's just cold, bro, He's just just so
cold where he's not even evil, he is just driven
by purpose. And there is nothing more like it's one
thing of a motherfucker evil. They got emotion, you know,
they know what they're doing, this evil, they delight in it.
(02:17:34):
It's a different when someone is like, bro, I'm doing
this because God wants me to do this.
Speaker 4 (02:17:39):
And that's the point of history that the faith has
blinded quite literally blinded that world to.
Speaker 2 (02:17:48):
Where and the best villains are blinded by faith. And
that's that's what I'm saying. The best villains are blinded
by faith. So yeah, yeah, man, No Walker is a
great villain.
Speaker 4 (02:18:00):
I almost chose No No, No Walk. I almost did,
and I gave it to a group. I gave it
to the sin Bishops. You got four motherfuckers that are
basically killing people in a fucking in a town. They're ruthless,
they're evil, they are bat shit crazy. All of them
are batshit crazy. The torture that SUPERU and his crew
have gone through over the course of the first eight
(02:18:22):
episodes is just as much as what they've gone through
pretty much through any point throughout the entire two and
a half seasons that's aired thus far. So I thought
all of that was tantamount to being the antagonists of
the seasons because not only is it not one, there's
three that they got to fight and their cronies. So
(02:18:42):
the collective, the collective sin Bishops and their cronies, all
their antagonists easy because and not to mention, they're giving them. Hell,
it's not like they're antagonists. And then Super's beating these
guys or the crews beating these guys one two, three, No,
when they got them beat, psych power done fucking dead,
fucking turned into like some deformed, malformed creature or some
(02:19:04):
ship or like, oh you're missing a leg now, oh
your leg's back, I'm rip that bitch off again. Oh
you think you have faith, Nope, I'm gonna make you
throw up because freaking you're so disgusted and in fear
and all that ship like you're seeing a little boy
get fucking ripped in half and all sorts of batship things.
Speaker 2 (02:19:20):
Bro. So yeah, they started up dropped that child, bro.
Speaker 3 (02:19:27):
Bro.
Speaker 2 (02:19:28):
I was like, Bro, that was cold best seeing alone
where I feel you on that they dropped that child
from a building.
Speaker 4 (02:19:35):
Zero has easy protagonist easy is very close. I respect
the ship out of the fact, but I gave it
the same collectively.
Speaker 6 (02:19:46):
Yeah, might as might as also know back as fuck,
that guy's crazy. I would save him for next season,
but it's like, you know what, No, I think gre't
someone else chance realistically.
Speaker 4 (02:19:59):
So Mike twenty two right, I thought about saving him
for Mexican two. He still might. But the way you've
set it up, Matt, because you read it. It's not
a spoiler because I don't know. But the way you
set it up, it seems like Nobo's gonna have like
a redemption arc and e he's gonna die.
Speaker 3 (02:20:12):
Oh no, there's no redemption. There is no redemption. Yeah, but.
Speaker 2 (02:20:19):
I don't want to know, so you're not getting to answer, Ethan.
I feel he's either gonna redeemed or die. So the
fact he's not, he's gonna die.
Speaker 4 (02:20:28):
It's inevitable. He's fucking dying. But how far is redemption
or does he just die forever a piece?
Speaker 3 (02:20:34):
There's there's no redeem in this man. It gets worse, yeah,
like absolutely fucking not.
Speaker 2 (02:20:41):
It gets worse, like, bro, like that lets me know
that that that's why I chose him. I said, Bro,
this man is like is I'm happy I saved him?
Speaker 4 (02:20:50):
Then happy I saved Yeah?
Speaker 3 (02:20:52):
Man, I can't find a fucking picture for your artificials.
Speaker 4 (02:20:55):
Why fine, I mean, if you wanted to pick one
of the bus I'm.
Speaker 3 (02:20:59):
Trying to that there's no like good formats. I'm sorry,
I don't know why.
Speaker 2 (02:21:05):
Why?
Speaker 6 (02:21:05):
Why you gotta be the one we find the logo
for the for the for the I'm trying to find something,
all right.
Speaker 4 (02:21:12):
This will do the gospel?
Speaker 8 (02:21:14):
This one, Matt?
Speaker 2 (02:21:15):
How is this one?
Speaker 1 (02:21:17):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (02:21:17):
Hold on, I already did it, so okay, thank you
for looking, Chris, got no problem? Iyah, Hello, Hello, too late,
he didn't pull the trigger.
Speaker 4 (02:21:28):
You gotta be quicker than that, guys. Ricochet, Matt, fuck Ricochion.
Speaker 3 (02:21:35):
All right now the Angel food Cake. Best protagonists, Chris.
Speaker 8 (02:21:40):
I'm going with Harka from Lunner Life in Another World.
Speaker 9 (02:21:43):
Dude is just getting dragged through uh this fantasy world
by sucking his classmates when all he wants to do
is just chilling his nice cave home that he made
but uh by himself, and relax like the lunar he is.
But he still goes out of his way to.
Speaker 8 (02:22:00):
Like because like he's still that he's a good guy.
Speaker 2 (02:22:06):
All right, Well, this this is you know, some Rocus,
But I'm I'm gonna go with Yeah, man, I'm gonna
go with SUPERO. I'm gonna go with Super just off
of the fact that I need to get this out
of the way now, because as far as protagonists, we
get Natsu and we get it you go, and then
we get like a few other characters who are just
(02:22:28):
like running the mill x y Z blah blah blah.
But I feel like Super Hue. He's he's he's more,
he has more of a backbone. I feel like, you
die a few times and you feel you're not He's
not scared of death anymore at this point. He's like, yeah,
I know I can just reset, but I don't want
to do that, so let me just He's putting more
of mistakes into doing things while he's he's not relying
(02:22:50):
on knowing that he can just die and reset. He's actually, okay,
let's solve this right now, Like, let's figure this out.
Let's deal, let's deal with the consequences. Because the feel
was me as soon as Little Cat Girl got malled
and was about to die, I would have just I'd
have just reset to a time where she alive, so
I could say, but he ain't do that. He's like,
(02:23:12):
you know what, I'm Gona, I'm gonna stick it out.
So I feel like he's he's got more of a
backbone now and I respect him. He's grown silently. Super
Ro has grown silently within this past season. So he's
doing a good job as a protagonist.
Speaker 3 (02:23:25):
All right.
Speaker 4 (02:23:26):
Uh, I had literally, I'll tell you what until this
very second, I had super However, two things. One to
all of Starman's points, he's absolutely correct. However, knowing that
we still have the back half, I need to see
how super U redeems himself because I feel like he's
(02:23:46):
gonna be leading, just like you know, like Novaka's leading
going into into Winter. Super is leading protagonists for me
off the bat for Winter. However, because of what we
talked about about two hours ago, Matt, I'm giving it
to Rafa from ORB. This man is the genesis of
a movement to change the entire way the world looks.
(02:24:09):
Who was in four episodes and the season finale brought
him up and the principle of him being the impetus
to a lot of how Novak thinks, as well as
being the creator of the chest and starting that process
of being able to pass down data that is going
to be disseminated over the course of multiple generations. I
(02:24:32):
think for a twelve year old boy, not only is
he doing this as a human a.
Speaker 2 (02:24:37):
Minor character that is a main character like the best
main characters, he within a quarter of the episodes.
Speaker 4 (02:24:44):
Yeah, and OISSI and fucking Badanny couldn't replicate the power
that this man exuded. He took his own life with
a smile on his face. Basically, that was the more
I thought about it, Like literally, I was like, it
has to be Raffle, And that's a powerful thing for
(02:25:05):
a main character to be only in the show for
four series and maintain that impetus, for the series to
be able to carry that over throughout an entire course.
In essence, I think that's very profound. So I'm giving
it to Raffle with super leading going into.
Speaker 3 (02:25:20):
Winstor, Yeah, you took mine. I had Raffle in three episodes.
He did an impact with that influence he did. He
did more as a presentation in those three episodes than
most would do in like twelve or twenty four like
he did it in three.
Speaker 6 (02:25:39):
Yeah, that's why I respect as even to the point
where sacrifices them himself to keep that figure alive and
they're as they're doing it now in these future generations
with by Day in Oxy they're also doing that. Yeah, yeah,
now they have to step up, but they're still there.
They save using Oxy's notes as that new way for
that inspiration for that reach to continue to carry on.
Speaker 4 (02:26:02):
He had the world in his hands because he was
even like this old.
Speaker 6 (02:26:05):
The whole scholars they could not do that much as
they're like stuck on this one theory that they think
is right when it turned.
Speaker 4 (02:26:13):
Out it was wrong.
Speaker 6 (02:26:14):
Like Rafa had put more thought he since he is young,
he has that young brilliant mind of this getting to
more about everything, like like that everything like anything can
be a possibility, such as this one idea like he
like like in there, like there's like multiple ideas for
theories in there.
Speaker 4 (02:26:33):
Imagine if Raffel had the backing of UH of the
university that by Denny had for that to accelerate his
research with Jolenta. Imagine Raffel was there. Raffel would be
fucking king star. He would have figured it out long before.
But then he ever did. And like I said, Rafael
had the world in his hand, and he said, fuck
the world, fuck my future. This is a future that
(02:26:55):
I'm going to die for that I'll never fathom of
seeing except in heavens.
Speaker 3 (02:27:00):
Alright, let's move on now, let's gett's get working. A
cupcake for the HUSBANDO.
Speaker 9 (02:27:07):
I wanted to give this to helmer And from the
Lord of the Rings movie, but like, but I fuck you,
mat uh, except I gave it to uh what's his name,
Kojimocho from Lumier.
Speaker 2 (02:27:20):
Uh. He does.
Speaker 8 (02:27:23):
He's the boy. He's the CEO of the company.
Speaker 9 (02:27:28):
Uh. And you know, a man loves his job when
he comes to work every day dressed like a fucking
magical girl and speaks with confidence as he uh tells
his employees what they need to do.
Speaker 4 (02:27:41):
A man dresses a girl sounds like a pervert.
Speaker 8 (02:27:43):
He's just a magical girls dressed like one.
Speaker 1 (02:27:46):
Though.
Speaker 4 (02:27:47):
When I see it's like when I see men.
Speaker 8 (02:27:50):
It's not like he goes out dressed like them in
fucking public. He just does it in his office.
Speaker 4 (02:27:57):
It's like, bro, it's like seeing men cosplayers as any
Salem character that's not the man. Yeah, okay, I respect
what I'm.
Speaker 3 (02:28:07):
Good for you, but yeah, all right, uh sorry, who's
your husband?
Speaker 2 (02:28:16):
I'm gonna go.
Speaker 4 (02:28:21):
Hey, you might be father the.
Speaker 2 (02:28:24):
Father of you. What happened?
Speaker 4 (02:28:26):
What joke?
Speaker 2 (02:28:28):
Uh no? Ma simoon like Okamora, I feel like he
like man to be a geek who's completely into two
the girls. And you get these hot cows playing queens
surrounding you and they all just start like fine, you know,
start like they all start developing feelings and things for you,
(02:28:51):
not because you're this this stub, but because you're a
nice guy. You take care of them, you appreciate them,
You do everything you can your good friend, and you
don't never would try to be some thirsty, creepy guy.
Then you get to the beach episode and you take
your shirt off and your straight up ripped, and they
all were like wait wait what? And I love that
that he wasn't some skinny punk who just was just
(02:29:12):
like some lame o.
Speaker 4 (02:29:12):
He get to the.
Speaker 2 (02:29:15):
Workout, yeah, so you see him at the vsion and
it's like, oh man, you know they all looking like
wait wait what? And I love I love that because
they don't really do that to those type of characters
like him. They typically never be like yeah, man, you
can be a nerd and still have and still have
(02:29:35):
to work ethic to work out and have a nice body,
you know, Like so I loved that they did that
because I felt like it represented for every nerd that
goes to the gym. So it's like yeah, man, like
hell yeah, man, you who you got.
Speaker 3 (02:29:49):
Your cats? A husband?
Speaker 4 (02:29:51):
Yeah? Come here, I got Kendy Mint there HUSBANDO. I'm
going with the actual only husband that was in any
of my series, and that's Takeya. At the end of
the day, Takia starts off as like very quiet, very
like three sixty wedding.
Speaker 2 (02:30:09):
Yeah, they got engaged, they didn't get married, but continue yeah,
and they're getting engaged.
Speaker 4 (02:30:13):
Yes, But at the end of the day, like he
is still supportive, right, he even though he started out
with his own like objective in terms of like getting
married and things of that nature, wanted to get married
or needing to get married. At the end of the day,
the more that he was with Rika, the more that
he what's it called became really supportive of her, really
took a tention of her, really noticed like how much
(02:30:35):
value she added to his life where all he had
was him and a stray cat inside of a lonely apartment.
And at the end of the day, as they continue,
the girl and he caught feelings. He realized like wow,
like I want to support this girl, Like, yeah, she
thinks she's weird or she likes maps and she likes
traveling and looking at landmarks and that's how she spends
her time. But I'm totally okay with that. As long
as I can make her happy, as long as she's happy,
(02:30:56):
as long as I could be around her when she's happy.
I love that and I want to be that right that.
That's that was his thought process, and that's why I
was like, all right, well, you know this makes total sense.
Why fucking he would be a good husband or husband though,
depending on how you want to say it.
Speaker 3 (02:31:11):
Uh for me, uh, how do from trillion game?
Speaker 4 (02:31:14):
Really?
Speaker 2 (02:31:16):
And even face is like really.
Speaker 3 (02:31:22):
I shouldn't know.
Speaker 4 (02:31:22):
Matt was taking it to like the l G B
t Q level.
Speaker 1 (02:31:25):
No no, no, no, no no no.
Speaker 3 (02:31:26):
It's for the money.
Speaker 4 (02:31:28):
For the money.
Speaker 3 (02:31:29):
It's for the money.
Speaker 4 (02:31:30):
You secretly want him to whip you, don't you.
Speaker 3 (02:31:32):
No, no, no, no no no. I'll sleep with him
if I can guess over that money.
Speaker 4 (02:31:36):
Matt's got a price, ladies and gentlemen, everybody's got a price.
Speaker 3 (02:31:42):
There we go.
Speaker 4 (02:31:43):
You know where I was going but yeah, guy, he's.
Speaker 3 (02:31:45):
A good look at pillow. But uh, now it's time
for that wife. Who? Who is your wife?
Speaker 7 (02:31:50):
Who?
Speaker 3 (02:31:51):
Chris?
Speaker 8 (02:31:52):
I'm going. I'm going with I from uh timing out
with Sisters.
Speaker 9 (02:31:59):
She's the good old fashioned assan who will tease the
funk out of you.
Speaker 3 (02:32:05):
How do you straight?
Speaker 8 (02:32:07):
Ama, gommy A M A G A M I E
I y A e uh is.
Speaker 3 (02:32:15):
It the is it the blue hair of the redhead?
Black head?
Speaker 8 (02:32:18):
It's black head, huge taste black.
Speaker 3 (02:32:22):
Like sire.
Speaker 8 (02:32:22):
That's all you have to she and she's legal. She's
a college student.
Speaker 4 (02:32:27):
Hey, good, due, pretty good?
Speaker 2 (02:32:32):
What about you?
Speaker 3 (02:32:34):
Star man? Luiscy from fairy Tale?
Speaker 2 (02:32:38):
From fairy Tale, I don't know Lucy. I've had a
crush on Lucy. Like Lucy's just like no man, Like
she had her moment. You know, she can summer her.
I don't know, man. Aquarius kind of put her into
place that was pretty cool. But I don't know.
Speaker 8 (02:32:53):
Lucy was so happy when I was so happy when
Aquarius came back.
Speaker 2 (02:32:57):
It was so good. Yeah, It's like, I don't know.
Only she can do that, like she can put it
with Aquarius. No, honestly, who deserves it is old girl
who is looking for Aquarius because foof Brandish. Yes, oh
my god. But her personality is trash, but she's hot.
But Lucy, I say, Lucy is more of a Bombshelle,
(02:33:19):
So yeah, I love a nice blonde bombshelle. So Lucy agrees.
Speaker 3 (02:33:24):
Indeed, Uh what about you?
Speaker 4 (02:33:28):
Sorry about a win? Okay? I had Chinatsu up until
about two seconds ago, and then I really thought about
what wave flew meant, and I really thought about like, yeah,
this needs to be a little bit, a little slightly pervy, right,
And so I'm going with Subaki from Yakuza Fiance. She
(02:33:48):
is smart, she is cunning, stylish, sexy sexual woa, Like,
there's just something about her that's like so bad as
she's a model.
Speaker 2 (02:33:59):
Thinking about with the black hair.
Speaker 4 (02:34:01):
Yeah yeah tell.
Speaker 2 (02:34:03):
Me no, Bro, she's trash. Why she's tray toxi trash?
She's a whole bimbo.
Speaker 3 (02:34:11):
You can fix her.
Speaker 2 (02:34:12):
I basically he can think of bro, she was a
straight up bimbo. She's a bird. Bro, she's a whole bird.
Speaker 4 (02:34:21):
I want my turn.
Speaker 2 (02:34:23):
Wow, she's a bird.
Speaker 4 (02:34:29):
Turn afterwards, I'll take.
Speaker 3 (02:34:30):
A turn after me. But I don't care fly bird.
Speaker 2 (02:34:33):
She's a bird all right, man, turn like.
Speaker 4 (02:34:38):
I don't got to be raising. I don't got to
hit it first.
Speaker 3 (02:34:40):
I just got to hit it terrible already. Uh yeah,
you're telling me I just got beat her up and
I get buried. Shampoo, shampoo, baby, your favorite things? Tell me.
I told her that's all you gotta say.
Speaker 4 (02:34:57):
She puys would get away from.
Speaker 2 (02:34:58):
Getting I'm waiting for season two. I went for the
second half of the core in order to like but
I'm like, you know what, nice, let's go what you're selling.
Speaker 3 (02:35:07):
So yeah, that is why I give it. Okay, Now,
next up, let's do some beer for best duo or
group not not a couple.
Speaker 8 (02:35:18):
So I am going with uh Strange Grief from uh
let retire.
Speaker 3 (02:35:26):
Uh.
Speaker 8 (02:35:27):
They are a bunch of fucking adventurers, all fucking.
Speaker 3 (02:35:32):
What what what's what's the name? What's the name of
the group?
Speaker 8 (02:35:35):
Strange Grief, Strange Grief? Yeah, okay, Uh they are all
a bunch of eccentrics wanting to do their own thing.
Speaker 2 (02:35:43):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (02:35:43):
And the only reason why they're still they like or
even together is because of the main character, cry Andre,
even though he wants to just retire because he isn't
overpowered unlike the rest of them. We got a fucking battlemaniac.
Uh cool, just kick the crap out of you if
you look at her, Fuggy, you got a girl who
(02:36:04):
will drug you, and you got some weird dude who's
just gonna go around beating people with sticks.
Speaker 8 (02:36:12):
It's that they're a great group. I can't wait to
see the rest of them.
Speaker 3 (02:36:16):
Okay, star Man.
Speaker 2 (02:36:18):
I'm gonna go with Team Natsu. Team Natsu. They're always
pull off what they need to pull off together, and
even with one hundred year Quin's just like with everything
on the line, they just they do what they do best.
So it's like, you know what I don't. They didn't
have a lot of It wasn't a lot of competition
in my mind this season. There's a lot of like
(02:36:38):
groups and duos. I'm gonna give it to.
Speaker 4 (02:36:40):
Them, the Unified Lions from uh what's called from Tower
of God. So all of the people that were facing
FuG all to get BAM, they needed every single one
of them. It took, like I swear to God, probably
like twenty people, but all of them. They're a single objective.
There was only one objective, and the single objective was
to get BAM away from fuck and they managed to
(02:37:01):
accomplish that, and they each almost everybody contributed in key
high spots. So yeah, I don't know what you want
to call them. It's multiple groups clearly, but I just
called them unified alliance.
Speaker 3 (02:37:12):
So uh, let's call it a Coon's team. Sure, well,
I'll do the valves get Coon and some of the guys, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:37:20):
Kuhn and Dorsey, Rock Wegman, and those are really the
main the main people when it was all said and done,
and Dose.
Speaker 6 (02:37:28):
Okay, and for mind is uh team Blue Luck. He
goes everywhere. They're all fun. Either they're trying to help
each other or they're trying to fuck with each other. Well,
the interactions with all of them are great, especially with you.
Speaker 4 (02:37:41):
Uh, sounds like a good friendship. People are gonna support
you or fuck with you.
Speaker 3 (02:37:45):
That sounds right, That.
Speaker 6 (02:37:46):
Sounds horrible, all right? Yeah, so this one also put
the show titled for All for the picture.
Speaker 4 (02:37:54):
Sure, well, I forget how time consuming this is.
Speaker 3 (02:37:57):
We're three hours and we haven't fucking even hit our
we have we have we have like we have five us,
we have we have six more categories and.
Speaker 4 (02:38:04):
We have six more categories. I forgot that. I'm continued well,
the next one should be short because Starman is not
really doing one and I only have nine, so right, so.
Speaker 3 (02:38:13):
For the next one is going to be best couple.
Speaker 9 (02:38:18):
I have to give it to the I I have
to give it to the only real couple, because I
could pick any of the adult uh the the Other World,
not to Lucy for but I gotta go with the
actual couple who made it at the end, Rika Honoj
and Takia Ohara from.
Speaker 8 (02:38:37):
Three hundred and sixty five days to the wedding.
Speaker 4 (02:38:39):
Mm hmmm, mm hmmm, mm hmmm. I.
Speaker 9 (02:38:42):
I didn't like them at first because they were awkward
as fuck and we weren't getting anywhere. But at the
end they actually put their ship together and made it
out strong.
Speaker 4 (02:38:52):
Mm hmm all the reasons. Chris said, that's mine too.
Speaker 3 (02:38:55):
What's the what's their names?
Speaker 2 (02:39:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (02:39:01):
Rika, all right?
Speaker 3 (02:39:05):
So I was put there, Uh, you use their.
Speaker 4 (02:39:09):
They never stopped using their last names, though I was hoping.
Speaker 9 (02:39:12):
I was hoping that at the end, after they became
a couple, they started calling each other their actual I missed.
Speaker 4 (02:39:20):
It then, yeah, because it was like Arica all had.
Speaker 1 (02:39:23):
A coun.
Speaker 4 (02:39:26):
John.
Speaker 2 (02:39:30):
You know, as much as I wanted to give it
the sledge and velvet. They just didn't really do it
for me as a couple. I mean they they professed
their love, but nothing really came of it. So because
of that, this couple didn't necessarily do it either. But
they're so freaking cute, man, can Momo is amo I
(02:39:52):
s a. I like them as a couple. They're they're cute.
They're cute. It's not completely off the ground yet, but
they're just so adorable.
Speaker 3 (02:39:59):
That's well.
Speaker 4 (02:40:00):
I expected Yo and Karrishima.
Speaker 2 (02:40:03):
No, bro him. I tolerate him, but good god, bro,
he's a lot.
Speaker 4 (02:40:10):
It's a lot, let's say the least.
Speaker 3 (02:40:13):
So let me get that picture in for Momo and
Karoon And yeah we have. We're so we're kind of
even split. So that's good.
Speaker 4 (02:40:22):
We had a couple of them.
Speaker 2 (02:40:24):
We had a couple of split.
Speaker 3 (02:40:26):
That's always good.
Speaker 4 (02:40:27):
With the cameras is a cross right, So Matt and
Jean and me and Chris crossing trying to.
Speaker 3 (02:40:33):
When we get a good picture in for Momo and
the other. Oh god, if this one works, would be great.
Speaker 2 (02:40:41):
No, it doesn't work.
Speaker 4 (02:40:42):
You it them running?
Speaker 2 (02:40:46):
No?
Speaker 3 (02:40:46):
No, was I'm yelling at each other.
Speaker 4 (02:40:49):
That's that's depictive.
Speaker 3 (02:40:51):
No, it would be funny. Yeah, I got I got
him in the show title. So trying trying to do
all these pictures and all this while talking. All right,
let us do best supporting girl, my best supporting girl Iso.
Speaker 8 (02:41:07):
Granny from.
Speaker 2 (02:41:14):
Terrible Granny.
Speaker 3 (02:41:15):
Is that yours as well?
Speaker 4 (02:41:16):
No?
Speaker 2 (02:41:17):
No, no, no, no, minus e mil I love that
rabbit from Frontier. I love love I love that rabbit
bro like she is. She is fucking adorable. So Rocco
did her so dirty through her under the bus and
I still haven't forgiven him fully for that. So because
of that, I have to give her that award. She
deserves it because she's thet Yeah, she needs all the carrots.
(02:41:40):
She deserves all the carrots sun Rocco dog came with.
If you did that to her, how dare you?
Speaker 4 (02:41:50):
But I'm giving it to a main character. I'm getting
it from from blue Box. Heina, at the end of
the day is a main character. However, he does the
most to both help and hurt herself by supporting uh
what's his face Taichi with Chinatsu. She constantly gives him
(02:42:12):
words of advice or words of encouragement that fucking help
him along with her and early on in the episode
because she wasn't true to herself, she encouraged him to
try and go after her in the first place. So
you encourage the situation by not being true to yourself,
and when you're starting to fight for yourself, you continue
to encourage the situation by telling him aspects about himself
(02:42:36):
because he's down on the ship with her in order
to encourage him to be better. So you're being the
ultimate supportive best friend. You're putting yourself in the friend zone.
Speaker 2 (02:42:47):
I mean brother. And the damn thing she could have
she could have did to prevent him from being the
whole fuck boy and just leaving her by herself at
that damn fair At the first of them, I was like, oh, bro,
I hated him. I don't like him no more. He
lost all his points. He lost all points for me, Bro,
I lost all respect. I half of that man. I
(02:43:08):
hope he don't get the girl now because I just
fell out that was File. I was just like, oh, yeah,
bro out, File, Like, if she you, he would have
straight up just ghosted her at that festival. If they
would have just kept if that girl would have never
found her mom, oh they would he would have stayed
with her the whole night. I just thought that was shitty.
I just thought that was shitty.
Speaker 4 (02:43:27):
Wrong. Listen, you're not wrong. Tikey didn't win any awards
individually from me, so you're not wrong. But I just think,
you know, I understand you're not wrong by saying he no,
like was never gonna win in the first place, but
still like the words that she uses to push him
along to get there while hurting herself. I think deserves
(02:43:48):
all the problems because she's in concept. She's incidentally becoming
the best supporting girl to the protagonist and his love
situation while fucking herself out of hers So you brought
to your pink haired girls.
Speaker 3 (02:44:00):
They don't win, bro, that's also the blue hairs.
Speaker 2 (02:44:03):
But yes, I said, pink girls win way more than
the blue hairs. Pink girls. Actually, pinka girls actually do
win most of the time.
Speaker 4 (02:44:13):
I'm just thinking of I'm just thinking of what's her
face from from Staffu Yuie even though her she's tending
the orange, I think, right, yeah, yeah, yeah, I guess.
Speaker 3 (02:44:26):
Mine is also a turbo. Yes, okay, now, best supporting boy, uh.
Speaker 8 (02:44:32):
My best supporting boy is Coron move from uh Afro.
Speaker 9 (02:44:37):
Trip while also being the mastermind for his organization despite
only only being two members.
Speaker 8 (02:44:45):
Uh you know what. He brings the main character along because.
Speaker 3 (02:44:50):
What's his name about? Chrome?
Speaker 2 (02:44:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (02:44:53):
Okay, Uh he brings her along because she just wants
to watch her h magic, her favorite magic for girl
kick ass and look cute.
Speaker 8 (02:45:04):
The show is just basically gushing without the gushing.
Speaker 4 (02:45:07):
Mm well we all was a good thing.
Speaker 3 (02:45:12):
This guy's interesting.
Speaker 8 (02:45:13):
Yeah, it's gushing, but more comedic and not at.
Speaker 2 (02:45:16):
G as fuck you lost me so as you're not
at that show. That show. That anime is a masterpiece.
Speaker 8 (02:45:26):
It is a masterpiece.
Speaker 2 (02:45:28):
Is a master piece. I must own it.
Speaker 3 (02:45:30):
It's like that Ani is back because of.
Speaker 8 (02:45:33):
The anime is back because of it. An episode one
of the Behemoth Cat series came out and we already
got helped it.
Speaker 3 (02:45:42):
Oh boy, sorry what the supporting boy Riyoga?
Speaker 2 (02:45:45):
Actually, yeah, I'm gonna give it. I'm gonna I'm gonna
give it Yoga. I'm gonna give Yoga for the simple
fact that it's because like Riyoga, even though he won't
sa Kane and he hates like he helps, he still helps.
He still helps, Like he'll still help, He'll still like that.
(02:46:08):
I feel like he's still like as much as he
considers AM a rival, I think that rival stems from
he understanding that like, Bro, I don't hate you, I
just fucking hate your guts, like bro, like like like yeah, bro,
don't I don't want you to die. It's just fuck
you every now and then, you know, But yeah, yeah man,
Yoga Yoga man. I think he's a good supporting boy
(02:46:30):
because he he pushes rama. Roma would be just a
run of the meal guy with harm if it wasn't
with Ryoga.
Speaker 3 (02:46:37):
M h, all right, well what about you.
Speaker 4 (02:46:40):
I don't pick Yoga. He's a second for me. I
ended up picking uh along the lines of Blue Box
Kyo because for all the reasons I talked about, Tina
Yo actually does a good job as a best friend
to Tikei and help push him along, gives him advice,
gives him encouragement, sets him up truly with Shanazi to
really pushed that baseline by telling him to go to
(02:47:01):
the aquarium and telling her like listen, Tyke, he's playing
for a lot more than just internet, for just nationals.
He's playing because you know they made a stupid bet
with your phone number and he doesn't want nobody to
talk to you obviously, but him and yeah, yeah, right
here guy. So and when Quina and them were like
oh and bye yo, Joe realized immediately what he was
(02:47:23):
trying to do, and so he faked cough cough. He
faked being sick so he can give Hena the opportunity
to go on a single date with Tyke. And to
Starman's point, he fucked it up. But in any case, though,
Kio at least tried to throw Hena the softball too realizing,
and he plays a good mediator and everything like, he
doesn't get too involved, he's not too nosy things of
that nature, but he really like does his best from
(02:47:46):
his position to encourage and uplift everyone in their relationship situation.
I don't know the manga the Blue Box to the
degree obviously that other people do, but I see Kyo,
and I hope he gets some sort of love interest
from somebody along the way, because that would be very
fitting and deserving for him that he finds his own
girl along the way.
Speaker 3 (02:48:04):
All right, sounds good? All right? By now we're down
to best girl, So Chris.
Speaker 9 (02:48:11):
And giving this to once again giving this to, Uh,
she's fucking cute, she's carefree. She uh, she's just living
the way, living the way she wants and uh she's
hot as fuck.
Speaker 8 (02:48:29):
She's great.
Speaker 2 (02:48:31):
All right, Sara, I'm going to give this to Yoshio
so may yeah man from Yakuza Fiance, Man Girl Kuza Fiance.
Like she was, she had a head on the shoulders
like to kind of like just deal with, you know,
all the ship that was going on around her. It's
(02:48:52):
kind of like like water with a duck rolling off
off his back, like it just rolled off her back.
She just she still she had to do. She she
really was gonna come to Tokyo to be herself. But
when she realized, look, I can't even relax and be
myself without this asshole. Really, you know, I can't read him,
so I need to She she figured it out. She
had to figure out a way to get him raped
around her finger. And she was always down for the ship,
(02:49:16):
like in regardless of what was happening, she always one
had to do the right thing. And too, she was
always with the ship. It was just like she was
just down. She was just like, I'm gonna help you,
but I'm gonna cush you out later because I think
this is some bullshit like and that would turn me
on too. I can't even I can't be mad at though,
but it because man, that's kind of hot.
Speaker 15 (02:49:34):
Man.
Speaker 2 (02:49:34):
She she was pretty hot.
Speaker 4 (02:49:36):
So yeah, okay, okay, now if the best girl you said, yep,
I didn't really have good picks. You know, I'm not
even really confident in my pick that I have now,
I don't want to give it to her.
Speaker 3 (02:49:54):
Bro give her whatever you want, put.
Speaker 4 (02:49:59):
I don't really I want to give it to her,
But I can't think of anybody else other than like
guess Suo from Guys Mixer, because she was slick and
she you know, she did things really good with her shit.
But I gave it to Yoshima just because of how
fun she is. And I tell you the reason why
I truly picked yoshim at the end of is even
(02:50:20):
though Karrishima got her caught up in his bullshit, when
it was all said and done, she was down with it,
and she bailed him out on several occasions. And on
top of that, she's doing her best without even trying
to reform Korishima and make him a little bit of
a better guy. So that's the true reason why I
gave it to Yoshino. But it's not one of those
picks that I'm like, oh my god, yes you know
(02:50:41):
what I mean.
Speaker 2 (02:50:42):
I mean, but that's not too far with me. It's
just like, No, Yoshino was like an authentic girl who
didn't want no problem. She was just like, look what,
I'm doing this because I can too. I'm doing this
because we're a great power consprints. I ain't nobody else
gonna do it. She had the railer man, and she
did a good job of doing it and staying true
to herself. So I felt like that's the most important
thing with me, with a female character that actually has
(02:51:03):
a personality.
Speaker 3 (02:51:05):
Yeah, alrighty, very good.
Speaker 2 (02:51:07):
No.
Speaker 3 (02:51:08):
The Best Boy, My.
Speaker 9 (02:51:11):
Best Boy is a boy who wanted nothing more and
to get a head from the cute girl in his
class and then became a god.
Speaker 3 (02:51:19):
From uh.
Speaker 2 (02:51:25):
Hey yo, hey yo, you're talking about the over feet
with the hell no.
Speaker 8 (02:51:33):
Got main character.
Speaker 3 (02:51:35):
He just becomes in the last few episodes.
Speaker 8 (02:51:40):
Hey hey, he did his best, he did whatever he did.
Speaker 2 (02:51:47):
Is this the thing you you did? Serious? Like wait
a minute, so right now?
Speaker 3 (02:51:53):
Yes, no, we've seen god, yeah, oh god, yes this
is what happens.
Speaker 8 (02:51:58):
Yes, this happens. But in the first episode.
Speaker 3 (02:52:01):
Yeah, like season one.
Speaker 2 (02:52:03):
Yeah, that's insane. I know, I know, I know, all right, Sorry,
I'm stunned. Best boy yep, yeah, the best boy to
me is a boy who, despite the fact that sometimes
he was a girl and owned it, acute with it,
(02:52:24):
that he was still the best boy. He dealt with
all the bullshit, everybody's bullshit. Had said that accountability and responsibility,
that all of this ship that's happening, it's his fault.
And even when he didn't want to take responsibility and
be accountable, he still did the right thing. And I'm
talking about ron Ma sout on me. I should have
(02:52:47):
I thought you were.
Speaker 3 (02:52:48):
I thought you were. I was like, I'm shot.
Speaker 4 (02:52:52):
I should have.
Speaker 3 (02:52:53):
Damn all right, who you got for all the.
Speaker 4 (02:52:57):
Reasons why you picked him as best protagonist? I picked
him the best boy.
Speaker 2 (02:53:00):
Super okay?
Speaker 3 (02:53:02):
That mine is also superstrick getting.
Speaker 2 (02:53:07):
Get in head over here, I would get.
Speaker 3 (02:53:10):
Now our final award.
Speaker 8 (02:53:13):
Cake Ris Animation, Hey man, I gotta do it. I
gotta do it.
Speaker 9 (02:53:18):
As the waiter, I gotta bring out some harmony. Cake,
we could probably miss Best Fight.
Speaker 3 (02:53:22):
Oh okay, Oh you're right, you're right, You're right.
Speaker 4 (02:53:29):
Chris gets a bonus from your.
Speaker 3 (02:53:32):
Yeah, you get more, You get paid more than Nathan. Congrats.
Speaker 2 (02:53:36):
Wait, you guys get paid.
Speaker 3 (02:53:37):
Yeah, we cursed too much.
Speaker 1 (02:53:42):
Bro.
Speaker 4 (02:53:43):
That's literally.
Speaker 3 (02:53:47):
Alright, well all right, Chris, what was your best fight?
Speaker 9 (02:53:50):
My best fight is Senya versus that I forgot his name.
I don't even does he even have a name. The
boy dude fights in.
Speaker 8 (02:53:58):
The uh the White gud one where they have a
huge imagination fight.
Speaker 3 (02:54:04):
Oh okay, okay, yeah, that's my favorite. I huh uh
they don't have names. I don't remember void.
Speaker 8 (02:54:17):
Yeah that works.
Speaker 9 (02:54:19):
I enjoyed the use of like, oh hey, this whole fight,
this whole fight is just you gotta use your imagination.
Speaker 8 (02:54:25):
Who can imagine having fun more? As as said, you
put it all right?
Speaker 3 (02:54:30):
Start man? How about you?
Speaker 2 (02:54:32):
It was really hard man. It could have been Oka
Room versus Turbo Granny. That was a pretty dope fight.
And honestly, I think I'm gonna go with Oka Room
versus Turbo Granny. He first got his you know, it's
it's like he has his powers. He's trying to figure
(02:54:53):
it out. They figure out how to get it.
Speaker 3 (02:54:55):
Like.
Speaker 2 (02:54:55):
The animation was sweet. It wasn't like a fight fight,
but it was like a battle of the wits and
Tom and and everybody having a pool, Like they just
got their powers. Bro, they had their powers for five
minutes and they gotta take down Turbo Granny. Like I
thought that was pretty impressive.
Speaker 4 (02:55:12):
Uh okay, Sorry, I was really limited with my fights.
Tower of God had okay fights, Bleach had plenty of
fights that were just over the fucking top. Gun gals,
fights were men and Yakuza Fiance had I guess one.
Speaker 3 (02:55:28):
Of these just say to say it was the ice
skating I got you, I got I understand.
Speaker 2 (02:55:32):
Yeah, No, I ain't gonna lie Jacuza Fiance No like
show made versus versus Karrishima was that honestly, Bro, that
might I might consider changing my pit to that fight
that you know what, that was a badass fight. Now
that I'm thinking about it, I think I want to
give my ward to have fight but continue.
Speaker 4 (02:55:52):
To I currently have it as Mayori and Mimu versus
just because I thought it was pretty decent. But if
I'm gonna come plain about how ass backwards everything has been,
I am changing it. I'm gonna change it to uh
Kirishima versus Show me.
Speaker 2 (02:56:10):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we're with you on that one. Like, yeah, bro,
now you mentioned it. I was like, yeah, bro, that
fight was in the back of my mind.
Speaker 4 (02:56:18):
You changing man, you don't worry. I brought knives.
Speaker 2 (02:56:22):
Yeah, oh yeah, I'm gonna just tab you the knife.
Speaker 4 (02:56:27):
He's like here this.
Speaker 3 (02:56:30):
Yeah, mine was a career in Turbo Granny.
Speaker 2 (02:56:33):
So yeah, I have great taste. That just lets me
know I have great taste.
Speaker 4 (02:56:38):
Yeah, I'm glad. I'm glad I started that one.
Speaker 8 (02:56:43):
I'll take that.
Speaker 4 (02:56:44):
I'll take that all right.
Speaker 3 (02:56:45):
Now the final one best animation.
Speaker 8 (02:56:48):
Uh once again, I'm giving it to uh Limed.
Speaker 9 (02:56:52):
Uh fucking They went over the top with everything, the
fight scenes, the transformation sequence is uh how even just
the flying was beautiful, like they.
Speaker 3 (02:57:07):
Okay, so what about you start.
Speaker 2 (02:57:14):
That's animation? It was. It was just so this was
a hard one to do. This was a hard one
to do because I get an example. If if I'm
talking about like character design, I'm I'm gonna choose like
j Accuse the fiance. But if I'm gonna go with
like art direction, I'm gonna go with Delicos nursery. If
I'm gonna go actual movement, I'm gonna go with Ranma.
(02:57:37):
So it's like, I really it's really hard to like
just pick animation wise, with like what they're doing with
a lot of the animation. I'm I'm I'm really having
a hard time picking between those those three if I
want to just strictly rely on action to be bleached.
(02:57:58):
So I don't know. Man. Initially I did say Delico's Nursery.
I liked how the animation looks, but they didn't do
anything to impressive with how good it looked. Story inside,
they didn't really it wasn't about fight scenes or anything
like that, even though they did have a couple of
dope ones. But Rama, even though the animation wasn't like flashy,
(02:58:20):
it was animated really well, them incorporating that nineteen eighty
style into twenty twenty four. Because of that, I'm gonna
go with Ranma. Gonna say Rama animation wise, yeah, because
I mean I would go to Dana Dam, but you know,
I mean Danda d Am really Dana Dan shines when
(02:58:41):
they get obscure. Other than that, it's just solid animation.
But it's I feel like they just meet that standard
expectations was suspected. I think I'm giving this to Rama
just off of the strength of they took what was
popular in nineteen eighty eight and they were able to
trans played in twenty four and I don't I think
(02:59:03):
that was a remarkable thing to do. So I'm gonna getting.
Speaker 4 (02:59:06):
Rama, okay. Uh think I gave it the Blue Box
the most. To me, Blue Box had the most enthralling
I looked at those characters, the way that they that
they expressed themselves, the way that they would move around.
It was crisp, it was sharp, it was bright. I
(02:59:27):
love bright, exuberant animation styles, things that really pop off
my screen, and I think Blue Box did a tremendous
job of doing that throughout the entire season for me
not to be outdone. And I guess from a visual standpoint,
you can really claim or like you said, Matt, and
that makes sense. I thought the animation and that is
also really good because of Fiance. In terms of an
(02:59:48):
aesthetic character design was really nice. Just like Starman said,
same thing with Ramah. The new take on the on
the nineteen eighties style was really well done, very smooth.
It kept that authentic feeling of like that hand drawn
style that was Yesteryear's style. But making it more smooth
and more fluid for twenty twenty four. But I think
(03:00:11):
in terms of just what captures me, captured my attention,
my eye, what made me feel warm watching it? Every
single episode was was a blue box.
Speaker 3 (03:00:21):
Uh yeah, mine was blue box as well.
Speaker 4 (03:00:23):
Nice, but I was.
Speaker 6 (03:00:27):
I liked the very smooth, colorful, vibrant at the same time,
that's how they did everyone with the Badman.
Speaker 4 (03:00:32):
So I liked it.
Speaker 3 (03:00:34):
No, I have found with it. Then that was a
close second.
Speaker 2 (03:00:38):
Mm.
Speaker 3 (03:00:39):
But guys, that is it for part one. We're going
to take a quick break and when we come back,
we reveal our top ten of the season.
Speaker 2 (03:00:49):
So keviyat will I will deliver my top I will
briefly state my top tens when what we do and
it was unfortunately Fellas I have way too me and
the anime that are completely unfinished because during the Christmas
holiday break, I was making drinks and not watching anime
(03:01:10):
because I thought I had more time. I lost the
whole week in December due to the second fans I
won't miss it, so that put me behind the week.
I was like, damn it, I'm behind the week. And
I didn't realize when I missed my anime schedule. It's like,
oh crap, I'm behind. But I started prioritizing different shows
because I got caught up on everything this week to week.
(03:01:31):
And the only thing that got me behind was the
stupid dub stuff that I just stuck with for stupid reasons,
even though I'm switching the subs. So now I got
to watch all the subs. But anyway, I'll have those.
Speaker 3 (03:01:44):
But thank you for joining us for this at the
very least, guys, fall star Ak, thank you for having
me check out his music star on Spotify already, platforms
wherever your list. Sunday's got another album coming out and
I wait to listen. But but no, okay, thank you
so much for joining us, and we'll see you next
(03:02:04):
week for the annuals.
Speaker 2 (03:02:06):
I will be tuning into your top so I just
might have to mute it when y'all go and spoilers,
but I'll be I'll be checking it out now, all right.
Speaker 4 (03:02:14):
Due to the way that stream yard is set up,
I can't just cold end it, so we're gonna have
to play the animations and music for the end of
this and the opening. You gotta, I mean, I don't.
I did that the last time we've removed it. You
can remove the video.
Speaker 2 (03:02:31):

you're not live.
Speaker 4 (03:02:35):
