Speaker 2 (00:20):
Tonight's top story, The Church of Clarity leader High Priestess
Crystal is exposed as a changeling. The d C has
opened an investigation into the church operations. It seems that
the change thing was apprehended by a group of freelancers
working on behalf of Blue Goal. And we have Blue
Goal CEO Matt Damon here with me now, Hello, mister Damon, Oh.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Call me Matt. You know no need for formality here.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
So, Matt, is it true that your employees are acting
on behalf of the city government.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
I want to make one thing clear. We Bluegle believe
in the future and the future of this city. Okay,
And identity crime is at an all time high, and we
at Bluegle are coming up with new solutions every day
to help prevent identity crime.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Which is I started. Sorry, I'm gonna have to stop
you right there. Breaking news. It seems that the city
is under attack right now, and for that we're going
to go to our field correspondent, Moosy Monday.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
Yes, Buster, and if here's that pirates are invading the city,
it looks like two freelancers are coming up now, let's
see if we can get an interview with them for
more information.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
Fight some on your own size.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Hello, I'm Alex Capps, your DM or district manager. And
this is Overworked and Underplayed, a D and D podcast
for young professionals. Buy Young Professionals. Today's icebreaker. What is
your favorite part about Fall?

Speaker 2 (01:59):
What Up? It's boy? Marcel Hardy playing Richard Cox, a
human consultant turned halfling bard who holy believes it's better
to be lucky than good, but it's best to be both.
And Richard's favorite thing about Fall is that he's finally
not just absolutely sweating all day every day preach.

Speaker 6 (02:15):
I mean, yeah, that's fair. Hello. My name is Aneline Hardy,
and I played Taylor Jacobs, a centaur barbarian with a
heart of gold, and her favorite thing about the Fall
is that everyone's back in the office because she genuinely
likes her coworkers. But also she won't get those fucking
out of office female reflies all the time.

Speaker 7 (02:33):
She said something hi everyone, and my name's Katie.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
And I played Crystal the Drow Druid with her very
own MLM Crystal Clarity. And her favorite thing about Fall
is that she has a ton of opportunities to take
advantage of that oh so valuable seasonal depression that all
young professionals go through.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Hey, Hi'm Marjorie. I play Amy and Amanda, a basic,
b rough and tumble human fighter with a freshly minted
dentistry degree. Oh man, Amyan loves to put on a
big fuzzy sweater with like a mock turtleneck. It's kind
of like a burnt orange. She put on some little
beanie on her head. She likes to go get some
pumpkin spices from Starbucks and you know, on her way

(03:15):
to the dentistry office. And yeah, she just loves everything
about it.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
I'm Tylers. I play the It Paladin known as Bentley.
Bentley's favorite thing about the Fall is that it gets
darker sooner. Listen more time inside the play video Games.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Hi, I'm Alex Capps. You're DM or District Manager. And
as the DM. My favorite part of fall is that
around spoopy season, everybody wants to host their own one shot,
so I get a break for a little bit.

Speaker 2 (03:48):

Speaker 3 (04:16):
All right, so when we last left off, you guys
had Gee, it was a lot happened in that last episode,
wasn't there. I mean, just so many things to talk about.
You guys wrapped up the fight. You uh have a
potential truce with doctor d. Also, the city was attacked
by pirates, So if you're done there, huh, I say,

(04:38):
when to bury the lead?

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (04:40):
So the party split, with Taylor and Bentley going to
charge headfirst in the Merchant's District and the rest of
you going to try to see if Fizzle Bang is okay.
Those of you who went to see a Fizzle Bang
was okay, managed to eliminate a few pirates and yeat
some out of an alleyway, and we open with Fizzlebang's

(05:04):
office in disarray, with several pirate corpses on the floor.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Can we still not hear I guess from the thunderous
loudness from shatter.

Speaker 5 (05:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Yeah, you guys are all like ears ringing, shell shocked.
The you see the last the last pirate who was
kind of standing is like shuffling down the alleyway and
just gets hit with a blast of wind and yeat
it out along with the others.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
All right, So Richard is gonna like wave his arms
to try to get Amyn's attention and kind of like
wave her over to him.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
So talking really loud, Richard, I can't hear anything.

Speaker 7 (05:43):
Here.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
Come over here.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
I don't know what you're saying.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
All right, Crystal, your ears are not ringing because you
were like as soon as that went off, you came
running in.

Speaker 7 (06:00):
Okay, And I don't know. They can't hear me, right right? Okay? Good?

Speaker 8 (06:04):
And this is why you guys you should always listen
to me clearly, I just like, this is all your fault.
I had to push those people out of the way.
Why couldn't you just chill? I literally had it so
that we could sneak in, and you've wrinked it all.
Like this is why people should always listen to me,
because I had the right plane and you guys just
barged in.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
All right, Crystal'll come over here, Amy and and uh
and Richard, y'all are basically seeing Crystal and it's like
the teacher from the Peanuts where it's like wanh.

Speaker 5 (06:33):
Wamp want want wamp wanh wanh, Like.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
She seems a little upset with you guys.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
We need to find Fizzle Bank, check the filing cabinets
what and then Richard's gonna start looking for filing cabinets
to try.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
To find all right, So we will we will, well,
we'll come back to that. Taylor, Jacobs and Bentley, you
guys are still going to be an initiative order. Taylor
you'll be going first, Bentley you'll be going second. As
you're standing there, you see all of the pirate's flintlock
muskets have pointed at you, guys, and you hear as

(07:14):
the pirate with the hat says ready, I'm fire and
let's see So two shoot. First one is gonna hit,
the second one's not.

Speaker 5 (07:28):
Wait my ac? Yeah, what's my ac? Well?

Speaker 3 (07:33):
Does does a natural twenty hit?

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Does?

Speaker 5 (07:39):
Ask about my AC?

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Does a twenty one hit?

Speaker 5 (07:42):
It does? Yes?

Speaker 3 (07:43):
Okay, does a nineteen hit?

Speaker 5 (07:47):
Yes it does. Okay, I'm gonna need you to get
rid of those dice and get some ewes.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
All right.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
And then Taylor Jacobs does a eighteen hit.

Speaker 5 (07:58):
Oh remember that you have? What did I cast on you?
I casted.

Speaker 7 (08:04):
Plus one?

Speaker 6 (08:05):
I see sixteen? Good note, Tyler.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
Okay, so that is going to be.

Speaker 5 (08:12):
Sorry, what did I cast on you? Wording bond? That's
what it was.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Okay, So that's going to be one crit and a
hit on Taylor, one crit and two hits on Bentley. So, Bentley,
the first shot is going to strike you right in
the breastplate and it's gonna deal twenty one bludgeoning damage.

Speaker 5 (08:35):
All right.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
The next two shots are going to be more glancing blow.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
Wait wait, wait, wait wait wait, I need to roll
a D six I forgot you gave me an adaman
tine coin and it hit by crit. I can roll
a D five five or d six and it's the
five or six hit.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
Okay, he did, I did give you that, Yes, good memory.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
And that is a four damn.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
All right?

Speaker 5 (09:01):
So you said twenty one?

Speaker 2 (09:03):
How much?

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Twenty one? And then the next two are gonna be
six and seven, all right? And then the crit for Taylor,
oh my gosh, four four bludgeoning damage.

Speaker 6 (09:18):
That's the power of positivity.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
And then ironically enough, the non crit deals twelve bludgeoning damage.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
I for one think the DM should start having to
roll his dice on camera.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Starts using a roll twenty.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Hey, if y'all want me to, that's fine, then I
don't have to feel bad, No stick feeling bad? Yeah,
all right. And so you see as the pirate with
the hat on to hurry up, reload, reload, and that's
going to be the end of his turn, and that's
going to bring us around. Let's see, the city guard

(09:58):
is going to start pulling back. They're wounded, so that's
what they're gonna spend their action doing this turn. Taylor,
you're up, okay, so can you explain the.

Speaker 7 (10:11):
Around us?

Speaker 3 (10:12):
No, they're in like a straight line, like colonial war style,
all loading their their muskets. We'll say that there's there's
two rows of five, and then there's the pirate with
the hat on directly behind the second row, and you
see as they all begin loading what looked to be
rudimentary muskets.

Speaker 6 (10:31):
Okay, she's gonna use reckless attack okay, and try to
take out the one like directly in front of them.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Okay, so you're gonna charge. You're gonna charge up and
engage the ones reloading. Go ahead and make an attack.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
Roll.

Speaker 6 (10:53):
I'm gonna try and bust up their line.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
All right, that's a natural twenty Okay, so double your dice,
double your dice, and double your fun. You sound really
excited about no, no, no, that's awesome.

Speaker 7 (11:14):
That's the most dad boys I've ever heard. Good job.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
I'm proud of you.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
It is so good. Look at you.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
We're gonna go get ice cream, lady.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Oh my gosh. Alex, just like do a recording of
all of those like nice things, and I'm sure we
can sell it because I know just like hearing those
things like my dad never told me. It's just like
almost brought me to tears.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Yeah, thank you, Oh Katie, who us died?

Speaker 5 (11:42):
So one of hearing is Alex Capps only fans hear
you soon. I mean.

Speaker 7 (11:52):
The praise kink is a thing, that's true.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
I don't know how I feel about that. On the
one hand, it feels a little violating, but on the
other hand, I do like money. The first one is
twenty one damage, yes, okay, so that is you basically
cleaved the dude's head clean off his shoulders, and you

(12:19):
see as the other ones begin loading a little bit faster,
so you have another attack.

Speaker 6 (12:25):
Okay, m question, should I double every like everything plus
the five because I did not do that?

Speaker 3 (12:32):
No, no, no, So so a crit you you double
all the dice you roll, so your strength bonus and
your rage bonus don't double just the dice you roll.
That's why rogues are so busted, because they double all
of their sneak attack dice.

Speaker 7 (12:48):
That's so cool.

Speaker 6 (12:49):
Okay, Then she's got a extra attack. Okay, so that's
an eighteen.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
Okay, that'll hit.

Speaker 7 (13:00):
A long sort again ship that's.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
Eleven eleven, So you basically lop his arm off. He
will not be able to reload his rifle and he
looks a 'tis only a flesh wound, all right, all right,
So that's your turn, Bentley. You're up with your negative one,
your negative one initiative.

Speaker 5 (13:25):
I'm from America. Actually you said you're up.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
Oh my god.

Speaker 5 (13:36):
Are there any that are like kind of close together?

Speaker 3 (13:39):
I mean they're all in like I just described, they're
all like stacked up in a double file line five wide.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
I missed that because I was reading reading stuff. Try
and prepare. Yeah, I'll run up and attack.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
There's a leader, right, he's at the very back of
the row.

Speaker 5 (13:56):
I want to try and cut my way through to him,
So I'll attack the first person.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
So do you want to attack the one that Taylor
just attacked or do you want to attack a different one.

Speaker 5 (14:04):
I'll take a different one. He can't reload, so he's
not a threat.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
Okay, all right, So make an attack roll.

Speaker 5 (14:10):
That is a nineteen plus numbers, So that'll hit. That's
ten damage on the first one, okay. And then I'll
do my second attack that is a fifteen plus numbers.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Does that'll hit?

Speaker 5 (14:25):
It's a nine more damage?

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Okay, So that one will collapse in a pool of blood.
All right?

Speaker 5 (14:32):
Is the leader next in line? Or is there no?

Speaker 3 (14:35):
So? So there's as I described earlier, there are two
lines five wide.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
Then and then.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
And then behind the two lines right in the center,
there's the guy with the hat kind of ordering them around.
And so as you step into the line, as you're
trying to like cleave your way through, you see him
raise his pistol up and point it at your face.
All right, so he's going to take a legendary action.

(15:04):
Does a twenty five hit?

Speaker 5 (15:06):
Yeah, obviously.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
Well I just want to ask, because you know you
were a little upset earlier.

Speaker 5 (15:12):
I didn't ask, well, yeah, because I thought you were
rolling bad. I realized you're using your loaded dice this week.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
All right, you take twelve bludgeoning damage to the face.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Specifically, all right, when you fight with the DM, you're
not going to win.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
I can do this all day, literally, you know dispigurement. Yeah,
you know who doesn't run out of spell slots?

Speaker 2 (15:41):
The DM.

Speaker 5 (15:43):
No, I have spell slots, thank you very much.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
So he does that for a legendary action, and then
he is on their turn. He is going to use
a rally command, so the back row five are going
to take aim.

Speaker 5 (16:00):
I still had it was still my turn.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
Oh okay, my bad, I thought your turn was over.

Speaker 5 (16:05):
No, because I have dual wilding, so I have a
third bonus attack.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Uh, heavy ass acts okay, used the heavy ass ax.
That is a and I'm assuming you're doing this on
the second row. The guy right in front of you, yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
That's eighteen that'll hit and then.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
That is a.

Speaker 5 (16:33):
Thirteen damage.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
Okay, so you almost cut his head off, like he
is bleeding out and he is not having a good time.
And he looks at you, says you son of a bitch.
They'll take you with me. And you see as he
reaches he kind of reaches into his shirt. So on
their turn, like I said, the captain is going to
do a rally command and you see, so now it'll

(16:56):
just be five of the guys are going to try
to get a shot off. So let's see here, yeah, disadvantage, yes, yes,
the ones the ones on the front row that are
trying to shoot at So there's only two on the
front row now that can shoot the other or sorry,

(17:19):
one on the front row that can shoot. The other
four are on the back row. So let's see with disadvantage.
Taylor Jacobs does a fifteen hit, no, okay, does a
eighteen hit yes, okay, and then that is going to

(17:42):
be a miss, all right, And Bentley does a nineteen hit,
it does, all right, So one at Bentley and one
at Taylor, so a lot better than Yil's first round.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Yeah that hurt, all right.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
So Taylor you are going to take so it's going
to be five bludgeoning damage. You do get to have that, Yeah, yeah,
because you're raging. And then Bentley you're gonna take seven
bludgeoning damage. The one that you cut his arm off.
Taylor is going to take a swing at you with
his knife.

Speaker 6 (18:20):
His other arm.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
Yeah, the knife is in the arm you cut off.
He picks up his like cut off arm and like
just try to strike you with it, which is why
he rolled a sixth, all right. And then the pirate
captain is going to take a swing. He's gonna like

(18:43):
leap forward and he's gonna try to take a swing
at Bentley with his cutlass. That is a crit Jesus Christ.
I'm sorry Bentley.

Speaker 5 (18:53):
Oh I'm going to that's a six. It's a regular
get fucked.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Good job that. That is a good use of that.
I would say that dice came in when it needed to.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
Yeah, So I'm I just rolled, I just rolled damage.
So I'm going to eliminate the largest die from the damage.
A sus that's gonna be nine slashing damage.

Speaker 5 (19:17):
Cool as he thinks.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
He really thought he was landing something good there, but
for some reason, it just didn't land like he thought.

Speaker 5 (19:24):
For a cool moment, the hit does hit, but like
Bentley kind of like jumps back a little bit, but
then it actually does hit him when he flies backwards
and I'm knocked out.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
No help?

Speaker 3 (19:35):
Oh really, well, when you crep for twenty.

Speaker 5 (19:39):
One damage on the first go plus extras, I only
have sixty health, so well not actually sixty fifty five.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
You guys. See as the captain looks at his men,
and he looks at the one who is reaching for
something in his in his shirt, and he turns to
says save it. Let's get out of here, and he
issues a retreat and they all begin running away. Taylor Jacobs,
would you like to take an attack of opportunity or
would you like to tend to your wounded comrade Bentley

(20:11):
who just went down.

Speaker 5 (20:13):
A voice in the back of your head since to
the opportunity, Yeah, this is what he would want.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
I mean, you know, it is probably what he would want.
Which one do you want to take a swing at?

Speaker 6 (20:26):
Probably the captain. That fucking hurt him, can't I moved him?

Speaker 3 (20:34):
No, it had to be one of the soldiers because
you're still in the at the front row.

Speaker 6 (20:39):
Okay, then whichever one was.

Speaker 3 (20:42):
Look, okay, all right, make an attack roll, and you
have advantage because you recklessly attacked.

Speaker 6 (20:52):
That's a natural twenty.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
That's cool.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
I just realized that they wouldn't have had disadvantage because
you recklessly attacked, so they would have had advantage against you.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
But that's my bad.

Speaker 3 (21:05):
I'm gonna say. So that guy was pretty That guy
had like two hit points left, so you basically could
flex and kill him.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
Uh, that's what you'll do.

Speaker 6 (21:12):
Then she'll flex and then the ripple.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
Yeah, the wind rushing off her muscles does just enough
damage to collapse him to the ground. The captain right
before he makes his escape, he turns. He says, this
won't be the last time we see jobs work.

Speaker 6 (21:33):
Yeah, she just flexes again, harder, or she's gonna run
over and administer.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
A health Okay, so Bentley, I need you to make
a death saving throw.

Speaker 5 (21:50):
I feel.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
All right.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
So now she runs over and gives you a health
potion in You're fine. I just wanted to make you
roll a death saving throw.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
Okay, it's almost I was saying, in case he gets that,
krit one and just two fails right off the bat.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
As you're administering this, you hear, Taylor Jacobs, you hear
the sounds of horns going off across the city, and
you see as it appears that the pirates are retreating.
Leave it in, all right, And with that, With that,
we cut back to the to the rest of the
party who are searching through Fizzle Bang's lab and Crystal

(22:30):
off in the distance. You would hear the sound of
a horn going off.

Speaker 7 (22:35):
What do you guys hear that?

Speaker 3 (22:39):
You too, are still deaf.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Richard, still drummaging through the filing cabinets.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
So I see you doing that, Richard. I'm gonna look
for Fizzle Bang, like, look through under furniture in different
rooms and stuff.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
Okay, And then Crystal, can you make me a perception check?

Speaker 7 (22:55):
Yeah, that's a one. Oh no, okay his perception. Yeah,
I have a plus seven to my perception, so it's
an eight.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
So what I'm gonna say is you hear some sort
of noise coming from like the back of Fizzle Bang's lap,
but you're not quite sure what it is.

Speaker 7 (23:15):
Okay, I'm gonna can I cast.

Speaker 4 (23:18):
I'm gonna cast detect magic Okay, I mean there's been
magic cast, but like I'm looking for like any kind
of worded or.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
You So you don't really sense anything magical in in
the room, and nothing lights up with the you know,
the was it the the detect magic vision thing aspect
of it. And then Amyen, you look for Fizzle Bang
and you find a little room at the back, and

(23:51):
it appears he is not there, and it looks like
some of his items were strode across the little space
where he's been living. Like you see his a little bit.
You see drawers on the floor, close everywhere, and you
see some blood on the floor.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
Okay, I'm gonna lean down and like put my finger
in it and see if I can tell.

Speaker 5 (24:11):
Is it warm?

Speaker 1 (24:15):
I don't know, Yeah, is it warm?

Speaker 3 (24:17):
I'm gonna say, no.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
It's not warm. Okay, I'm gonna lick it.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
No it hash yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
Instead of iron, it's copper, Like, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (24:32):
What is it like?

Speaker 1 (24:33):
Cephalopods Yeah sure, yeah, we all know what that means. Oh,
I think aren't like octopus and squid and stuff like,
they're not they have different blood based there. I think
they are copper face.

Speaker 7 (24:47):
I believe I had no idea.

Speaker 6 (24:50):
That's so cool.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
Let me fact check that that's an old fact I know,
so I don't know if that's so.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
Richard. You keep looking through filing cabinets and stuff, and
you don't seem to see anything. Crystal, you make your
way to the back of the room and you're you're
like paying attention. I want you to roll perception with
advantage this time.

Speaker 7 (25:13):
Okay, I don't like this, Like, hold on, I don't
like my little math that I have. It's like lumpy.
Let's try again. Okay, that is a twenty six.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
Okay, you've kind of zoned in on the noise. It
sounds very rhythmic, almost like a ticking.

Speaker 7 (25:37):
Oh no oh no, oh no.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
We need to leave.

Speaker 7 (25:41):
I'm shouting it. We need to leave now, now, we
need to And then like, do I notice that they
can't hear me? Can I figure out that they can't
hear me?

Speaker 2 (25:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (25:48):
You figured out they're they like they would kind of
know something's going on, but it would just sound very
very muffled.

Speaker 7 (25:56):
Okay, can I use my little bracelet thing to you?

Speaker 3 (25:59):
Most certainly I can. I never said you guys couldn't know.

Speaker 7 (26:08):
Right, get out, get.

Speaker 6 (26:09):
Out out out now?

Speaker 2 (26:12):
Now?

Speaker 1 (26:12):
What's wrong?

Speaker 2 (26:14):
Now?

Speaker 7 (26:15):
And I'm leaving.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
I'm okay, so you make it out.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
What are what is Amyan and Richard doing?

Speaker 1 (26:21):
Let's see here? So here Crystal do that? So I
quickly look through the room. Is there anything that I
seems like I should take?

Speaker 3 (26:30):
Not? Really, most of it seems worked through, all right?

Speaker 1 (26:33):
And then all right, so I'm going to run out
of there. And is there anything do you like to
have a pile of papers, Richard or something?

Speaker 2 (26:40):
So Richard, I want the record to show Richard has
been looking for Fizzle Bang, just remembering that he used
to hide in the finally capinet.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
Yeah yeah, no, no, no, he's not going through his stuff,
he's trying to find him.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
I picked up on that, okaya.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
No, So y'all are both going to try to run out.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
So depending on where Crystal is and where she's running
and where she's running away from, if that seems like
I can make it in time, I will head that direction.
But if it seems like that's kind of far from me,
I'm just gonna run in a direction that is away
from where she is running from. But not necessarily the
same direction that Chris.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
So she's so she's running for the door and there's
only one door. No need to take this offline. Overworked
and underplayed, will circle back after these messages.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
Okay, are there any window? I guess there wouldn't be windows. Yeah,
I guess Richard's running for the door. Then all right,
Richard is gonna like, we have to find Fizzle Bank
while he's running.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
So what I need is for both Amy and Richard
to make a dexterity saving throw and I'm gonna burn
two bad omens and make both of you roll with disadvantage.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
That makes sense. It doesn't matter because both of them
were four plus dexterity. Oh no, an eleven.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Okay, okay, so that was a six.

Speaker 1 (28:03):
That's my littlest so so Chrystal, wait wait wait wait
wait wait wait wait what can I use bartic inspiration for?
Can I use it for this?

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Can you use it for saving throughs? I know you
can do it fertibility checks and attack rolls and saving
through Yeah, okay.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
So many? All right, roll you're six.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
Let's see, it's probably not going to do anything, but
you know, oh six, so twelve okay.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
So, Richard, what did you have?

Speaker 2 (28:31):
I had an eleven?

Speaker 3 (28:32):
Okay, so full disclosure I used. The save was based
on how many turns passed since you discovered what was
going on and tried to get out. Sorry, twelve twelve
was the DC. So Amy is going to come running
out and long legs and Richard's Richard's little corky legs

(28:54):
are uh so she as soon as Amy gets out,
the entire room is going to explode. Richard, you are
going to take ooh oh no, this is gonna this
is gonna take a second.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
Also, Amy, and you have ten temporary HP points from
that using the partic inspiration.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
Oh I do, okay, thank you.

Speaker 7 (29:24):
This might be the last time you need that information.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
Anyway, Richard, You're going to take twenty six fire damage
and be launched out of the front door. You made
it basically to the door. Yeah, and all of a
sudden you get launched and basically just smack the wall
on the other side of the alley.

Speaker 5 (29:46):
Just to be clear, he's not looking at the explosion,
No guys, cool, because.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
The cool guys don't look at explosions.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (29:53):
So, and he has no clue what happened, so he
was good in the limp, all right. He wasn't like,
he wasn't like he tightened up for it. He just
knew we needed to get out of the room.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
So are you?

Speaker 3 (30:04):
So you are prone on the ground and partially singed
amy and you're you're good. You just made it out
of the room. It seems like the brick buildings absorbed
most of the blast, but there was just like a
puff of fireball shooting out the door.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
Oh my gosh. Okay, I'm going to go tend to
Richard immediately and try to like put out the flames
on him and give him.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
Some gentle gentle.

Speaker 7 (30:32):
Okay, I'm going to cast healing word. I'm gonna be like,
get the fuck up.

Speaker 6 (30:39):
I have something I want to say.

Speaker 3 (30:42):
All right, how much are you healing him for?

Speaker 7 (30:44):
It's gonna I'm gonna cast it at third level?

Speaker 1 (30:46):
So hold on, are you just is it for everybody
or just Richard?

Speaker 3 (30:51):
That's just a single target person, and I would love.

Speaker 7 (30:58):
Right now it's gonna be thirteen points.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
That's some good healing.

Speaker 7 (31:04):
Yeah. The thing is three D four plus four so nice.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
All right, So Richard, do you feel a rejuvenating wave
come across you as her quote unquote kind words fill
you with life.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
She says, get the fuck up, and my body moves
faster than I can even process, Like I'm just vertical.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
Let's go, so, Richard, how many how many HP do
you have?

Speaker 2 (31:31):
I have more than half of my HP and I'm
not close to full.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
Okay, I'll give you. I'll wrap a bandage around your
arm randomly and you'll get six points plus the number
of hit dice you have.

Speaker 2 (31:45):
That sounds great, so it'd be five hit dice, so
it would be plus.

Speaker 3 (31:51):
Yeah, yeah, perfect, all.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
Right, now almost good as new?

Speaker 7 (31:55):
Are you okay, Crystal?

Speaker 1 (31:56):
Are you okay?

Speaker 4 (31:58):
I've been because I was like paying attention. Yes, I'm fine.
It's you guys that didn't listen to me. And now
look at the mess we've made, Like we could have
avoided all of this if you do just.

Speaker 7 (32:10):
Snuck in.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
Gonna take a look at amen.

Speaker 7 (32:16):
Soll just like puts her head in her hands and
is like, pass without trace. What do you think that means?

Speaker 1 (32:25):
That's like when you walk in the woods and don't
lead wrappers around right like candy wrappers.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Oh oh my god.

Speaker 3 (32:35):
That also means that now let's leave no trace.

Speaker 9 (32:40):
That don't glitter. Okay, we're not talking. That's not No,
it really did not work. Okay, we need to go
find the rest of our people.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
And this bag he's not here, and there's blood in
his room. I taste it it. It's definitely like a nut.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
I don't think he's got ten limbs. He was like
a gnome or something.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
Right, it's like copper based blood. You know, Octopus blood
is blue because it's copper base and there's.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
Is that something you learned in vet school?

Speaker 9 (33:12):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (33:12):
It is.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
Actually that's great, Richard, thank thank you for listening to
my backstory.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
You're welcome. But you know, Crystal is right. We do
need to find the rest of the group because this
is definitely not something that we can handle.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
Just's true, that's true. You're you're right, Crystal. Okay, of
course that go Do you guys?

Speaker 2 (33:30):
Which way did they go? Do you guys remember? No,
I think it was this way. I think they were
headed towards the water.

Speaker 7 (33:38):
Sure, let's go that way anywhere. But here we just
nearly got our freaking asses exploded. Let's go.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
Wow, that sounded really weird coming out of your mouth, Crystal,
but I know what you mean.

Speaker 7 (33:52):
She's like frustrated. She stops being valley.

Speaker 2 (33:57):
Do we still hear the horns of the or whatever?
The horns?

Speaker 3 (34:02):
Well, Richard, you're not hearing much of anything.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
You've got a question is is it still happening whether
I hear them or not. Word, that's the power of magic.

Speaker 3 (34:15):
Yeah, you use the you use the telepathy bracelet to
make sure he heard you, right. Yeah, no, So the
horns have ceased. But as you're making your way through
the city, you see like a lot of damage stuff
that people are out like trying to repair, and there's
people getting patched up from different wounds and things. And

(34:38):
you see city guard or moving from place to place
making sure that all the pirates are out of the city,
and they're sealing up some of the gates, trying to
figure out what happened. And as you guys make it
to the merchant District into the Grand Bazaar, you see
Bentley on the ground and uh, you see Taylor Jacobs

(34:59):
in awkward knelt down trying to help him.

Speaker 6 (35:02):
Why is it awkward?

Speaker 2 (35:03):
Okay, you're in horsepoliant.

Speaker 7 (35:06):
Yeah you think by now I haven't learned in me
I'm just kidding.

Speaker 3 (35:12):
Or you went back to back to like human human
mode or something. But anyways, you guys see the rest
of your party.

Speaker 5 (35:19):
Cool, that's going to stand up and then like look
at himself, like just start to rub some dust off
his armor and then lay on hands himself to heal
for twenty five help.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
It like I can have.

Speaker 5 (35:37):
Oh I'm sorry, did you need to need some?

Speaker 6 (35:39):
Yeah, just if you don't mind just a little.

Speaker 5 (35:41):
Bit, I already used all of that.

Speaker 6 (35:44):
Oh okay, never mind.

Speaker 5 (35:46):
Here you go, here you go, and you cast wounds.

Speaker 6 (35:49):
Oh, thank you.

Speaker 7 (35:50):
I feel so much better.

Speaker 5 (35:51):
I have a freak your wounds daily, so you heal
for one D eight plus my Smoll casting Modifire.

Speaker 3 (35:58):
Taylor Jacobs, you feel that warm feeling come up or
your body again that you felt once before.

Speaker 6 (36:04):
A coworker, Now, what did you mean?

Speaker 3 (36:12):
No, you remember when when he healed your when he
healed the arrow wound in your butt.

Speaker 6 (36:19):
I just only feel it in my ass and that once.

Speaker 7 (36:24):
Like a phantom pain speaking.

Speaker 5 (36:27):
Thank you. I wish I could have that.

Speaker 6 (36:33):
Oh look made it?

Speaker 2 (36:41):
Wow? Can we can so?

Speaker 3 (36:45):
Amy, Anne, your hearing is coming back? Or Richard still
has blood coming out of his ears from the trauma
he's been through.

Speaker 5 (36:52):
He's going to notice that and then instantly just start
using the Bracelet's talk anyone else, looks like the same
person would when someone has some hearing. Oh wow, Richard,
look you okay there, buddy, we.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
Got caught in an explosion. Fizzle Bangs place is absolutely decimated.
So whatever, they looked like they were looking for stuff,
So they must have gotten what they were looking for,
which I assume is the items.

Speaker 5 (37:20):
Potentially, potentially Ben's gonna walk over and cure wounds to
specifically heal Richard's hearing.

Speaker 3 (37:29):
Richard, Yeah, Richard, Richard's hearing is back like the hearing
of an eight year old child.

Speaker 5 (37:38):
There, can you can you hear us?

Speaker 2 (37:40):
Now?

Speaker 5 (37:41):
What are we used to bracelets?

Speaker 2 (37:44):
Oh no, I can hear you? Guys? Now that was awesome. Okay,
I don't know what that means.

Speaker 7 (37:53):
But we're in a cult now, just kidding.

Speaker 1 (37:59):
What do you think they were looking for? Richard?

Speaker 2 (38:02):
I mean, the only thing with Fizzle Bang has got
to be the items, unless, oh way, it might be
a case of main character energy and like that's what
we were concerned about. So that's why we think that
they're going after Fizzle Bang. But I mean, I don't
know what else it would.

Speaker 5 (38:15):
Be bang not there? No, I said that I missed that.
Sorry ized out a little bit.

Speaker 3 (38:24):
I've lost a lot of blood.

Speaker 6 (38:28):
So they're like retreating. Should we be like chasing them?
Do you think they got fizzling?

Speaker 2 (38:34):
I mean, I mean we definitely didn't beat them. So
the only reason for them to retreat is they got
what they were looking for.

Speaker 5 (38:41):
So do we want to go? It could be time?

Speaker 7 (38:46):
Okay, I think so right?

Speaker 5 (38:49):
I summoned the toyota.

Speaker 7 (38:52):
All right, like this has happened in a movie.

Speaker 2 (38:57):
Doesn't that take like ten minutes?

Speaker 3 (38:59):
Yeah, it is a virtual spell. Yeah, casting time is
ten minutes, so be quicker just to run there.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (39:09):
So, as you guys are rallying up and figuring out
what's going on, uh, you see some soldiers on horseback
come up along with a very ornately armored individual. You
see his lord long Shaft rides up and he says, uh,
he says, that was a valiant effort defending the city.

(39:30):
I must commend you all for your bravery.

Speaker 7 (39:34):
Don't commend us.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
It appears that they are retreating to the Seafares district.
Would you like to join us on horseback to run
these fools down.

Speaker 5 (39:44):
Yeah, we need to fizzle things missing, So we need
to go try and save him since I assumed they
took them all right, so getting drunk somewhere there's no
in between.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
Yes, only.

Speaker 4 (39:57):
Compensate us, Yeah, I said, don't commendous, compensated incredible, that's
what we.

Speaker 5 (40:03):
All, right, So pizza upon returning to.

Speaker 3 (40:11):
I know, I promised you guys a level up, but
instead I've got a nice pizza party here for you.
So so they they lift you up onto the horses.
Except for Taylor Jacobs. They say, we believe you've got
your situation taken care of mine built in. Yeah, And

(40:31):
so y'all all charged down to the seafarers District to
see as their ships are all pulling out of the
out of the docks.

Speaker 2 (40:37):
What do you do, lord commander? Do you have a
ship that can follow them?

Speaker 5 (40:43):
I mean, are we able to like jump on this?

Speaker 3 (40:46):
You can try to?

Speaker 2 (40:47):
So I asked, what do you what do you do?

Speaker 3 (40:49):
I want to hear what you guys? Ideas are the ships?

Speaker 2 (40:52):
I guess can we get a better idea of what
it looks like?

Speaker 3 (40:55):
So they're going to be like your your stereotypical age
of a like Caribbean pirate looking ships. Okay, so these
they're mostly smaller, multi multi masted ships with triangular and
square sails in combination. And the closest one is hasn't
quite cleared the docks yet, but it is getting close.

Speaker 6 (41:22):
Taylor's gonna bracelet and be like, what if we all
run jump on the ship, pretend to be stragglers, take
over this ship, and go hunt down the lead ship
that probably is ing.

Speaker 7 (41:33):
Do we look does our clothing look up pirates?

Speaker 6 (41:38):
Definitely it'll be hard because we golf.

Speaker 4 (41:43):
Them through battle, so we're probably covered in like lord
knows what they probably tell us about.

Speaker 5 (41:48):
I don't think we look at like pirates stuff.

Speaker 1 (41:51):
We also just came from the Lord Protector's very formal
dinner in which we all picked I forgot like nice
gowns and things like that.

Speaker 3 (42:03):
All right, so what's the plan. What are you guys doing.

Speaker 5 (42:07):
Let's try and jump on the closest.

Speaker 7 (42:08):
Ship and say we very much like pro too, baggins
this like run towards the river thing and like try
and jump on.

Speaker 3 (42:17):
Okay, so what I need everyone to do is I
need all of you that's going to be an acrobatics
check or athletics.

Speaker 1 (42:31):
Can I do a meta game time out just to
talk about this before we jump on this real quick
with you?

Speaker 2 (42:36):
Marjorie?

Speaker 7 (42:37):
Does it like?

Speaker 3 (42:37):
This is?

Speaker 1 (42:41):
So let's let's let's look at the facts. Okay. So
we've got Turner deter and on our side, he's given
us information about the different things we need to go after.
This Bang has also given us the information on the
things that we need to go after. From my understanding,
the mirror, the lens, and the thumb drive are the

(43:02):
other three that we need to get. We don't know
if Fizzle Bank has been abducted per se. We can
presume it maybe, but we don't know for sure.

Speaker 6 (43:11):
Yeah, we don't know.

Speaker 8 (43:13):
And then.

Speaker 1 (43:16):
We do know that one of those things we needed
to go get a boat mateo or something to like
go find the next thing. So, if we already have
all of the information that we need to get the
different things Dertarian is on our side, we don't know
if Fizzle Bang is been abducted or not. What So,

(43:39):
So those are the facts as I understand them.

Speaker 2 (43:41):
What what do you guys?

Speaker 3 (43:42):
Okay, so let's throw let's see if we can throw
a wrinkle in your your logic. I need everyone to
make a perception check Amy, I got an eighteen okay.

Speaker 5 (43:55):
Because of course I would roll really high there.

Speaker 3 (44:00):
All right, So everybody but Richard, okay, and Taylor. You
see a small character on the boat that's just just
about to breach the uh, the the docks or make
it past the docks, and the figure turns around. He goes, ah,
my friends help help.

Speaker 5 (44:23):
Yeah, we're getting on the boat.

Speaker 1 (44:26):
So he's on the boat, you said, or on the dock.

Speaker 3 (44:28):
No, he's on the boat.

Speaker 5 (44:30):
Makes an executive decision, and it's getting to be trying
to jump onto the boat.

Speaker 1 (44:36):
Crystal, can't you turn into a bird or some some
shit like that and go get him.

Speaker 3 (44:41):
She is not high enough level to train change into
something with a flying speed, but she can change into
something with a swim speed, like.

Speaker 2 (44:49):
An octopus or a dolphin. Why just because of the
comment earlier.

Speaker 1 (44:56):
About how far away is he from us, like in feet.

Speaker 3 (45:04):
I don't know is he.

Speaker 6 (45:08):
So Taylor's gonna be like, hey, man, if we can
grab him, we can jump back.

Speaker 1 (45:12):
Okay, let's see that forever.

Speaker 6 (45:18):
We'll throw him back over okay, and then we'll jump
back off.

Speaker 1 (45:22):
That's a great idea.

Speaker 7 (45:23):
Let's go, Crystal's gonna cast enhanceability.

Speaker 3 (45:28):
All right, how many spell slots does Crystal have left?

Speaker 7 (45:33):
I've never I never used spells, so this is like.

Speaker 3 (45:37):
Well, you've already used both of your third level spell slots. Yeah, okay, also.

Speaker 7 (45:47):
Have one of these left? Only one person is getting it?

Speaker 2 (45:49):
Who do I think?

Speaker 7 (45:50):
Who do we think?

Speaker 3 (45:51):
So?

Speaker 1 (45:51):
Are we? Go ahead?

Speaker 3 (45:53):
Richard?

Speaker 2 (45:54):
My question is gonna be how far away is this?
It's important for spell not so so you're.

Speaker 3 (46:01):
Gonna have like if you're still going down the docks
on horseback and you're gonna have to try and make
like a jump and uh, it's not going to be easy.
I can go ahead and tell you that, But I mean,
what what's the relevance?

Speaker 5 (46:14):
What?

Speaker 3 (46:14):
What do you need to know? The distance?

Speaker 2 (46:16):
Well, I does need to know if my spells are
within range.

Speaker 3 (46:20):
Of what a fizzle Bank?

Speaker 2 (46:22):
Yeah, Fizzle Bank.

Speaker 3 (46:23):
So Fizzle Bank is going to be towards the front
of the ship. They're not going to keep him at
the back like they're there and there are they are
making every effort to get out of here as possible.

Speaker 2 (46:32):
Okay, last question about Fizzle Bank. Does he look like
he's tied up? Yes?

Speaker 5 (46:36):
Okay, okay to jump onto the boot.

Speaker 2 (46:43):
Keard will also cast anhan's ability to help another person.

Speaker 3 (46:48):
All right, So who's casting enhanceability on? Who?

Speaker 1 (46:51):
I'll take one?

Speaker 7 (46:51):
If?

Speaker 5 (46:53):
Okay, I mean I'll take one.

Speaker 2 (46:55):
Okay, I'll cast it on.

Speaker 5 (46:56):
What does the enability to do again as an advantage
or is it just a bonus?

Speaker 2 (47:00):
It's all just essentially advantage on a specific type of check.

Speaker 9 (47:04):
Woo.

Speaker 3 (47:06):
All right, So who are my jumpers?

Speaker 5 (47:09):
I'm one of them, and I crited on the.

Speaker 3 (47:13):
Well, you shouldn't have rolled yet because I still have
three bad omens.

Speaker 2 (47:19):
But we also have good omens. I'm going to use.

Speaker 3 (47:23):
Three bad omens on Amy and Taylor, Jacobs and Bentley.
That means that don't get advantage, yes, and Taylor Taylor
has disadvantage on the roll.

Speaker 7 (47:39):
Counter.

Speaker 3 (47:40):
Here's the here's the interesting part of this, because if
one of you does land on the boat, you're landing
there with five good omens. So right this, I might
have shot myself in the foot. We'll see, all right,
So Amy, An, what did you get?

Speaker 1 (47:55):
Okay? What am I rolling?

Speaker 3 (47:57):
Either athletics or acrobatics.

Speaker 6 (48:00):
Only one of us has to make it.

Speaker 2 (48:04):
I guess that is technically the minimum.

Speaker 3 (48:05):
That's yeah, it'll be a straight roll because you had advantage.
Now you have disadvantage. Well, yeah, they can't sell out, yeah, thirteen? Okay,
all right, now, Taylor Jacobs, can you roll?

Speaker 2 (48:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (48:21):
I feel like this is going to be bad. I
think Crystal is going to talk with the boat too.
I don't know why.

Speaker 6 (48:30):
I don't know that is a disadvantage. You said, yeah,
that's the same age twelve.

Speaker 2 (48:40):
All right?

Speaker 3 (48:41):
And then Bentley.

Speaker 5 (48:45):
That rolled a nineteen plus numbers.

Speaker 3 (48:50):
Jesus okay, so uh and then Crystal, did you say
you were going to try to jump for it?

Speaker 7 (48:56):
I don't know why. Yeah, yes, oh no, no, that's me.
It was a what that was a three plus?

Speaker 1 (49:06):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (49:07):
Three? Six?

Speaker 2 (49:10):
All right?

Speaker 3 (49:10):
So Amy and Crystal and Taylor y'all end up in
the water.

Speaker 7 (49:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (49:16):
Wouldn't it be funny if like Crystal started to trip
and grab the.

Speaker 2 (49:19):
Bag because do you want to get left behind? We'll
start running after them. But because he's slower, he doesn't
quite make it, like you know, he's a little bit
blagging behind. So I will try, but I'm gonna use
the good omen.

Speaker 3 (49:36):
Okay, all right, so burn we'll burn a good omen.

Speaker 2 (49:39):
I'll burn a good omen all right, roll for it?

Speaker 7 (49:41):
And what were you saying, Katie?

Speaker 4 (49:43):
I feel like I can swim, so I probably wouldn't
worry too much about grabbing you guys.

Speaker 6 (49:47):
Okay, we're just clumsy. Taylor's just yeah.

Speaker 2 (49:51):
So that's a twenty one?

Speaker 7 (49:53):
Who nice?

Speaker 2 (49:54):
Unless whatever the good Omen is might make it higher.

Speaker 3 (49:58):
Oh yeah, because I'm supposed to roll the good omen thing.
What did you roll?

Speaker 2 (50:02):
I rolled to sixteen plus five.

Speaker 3 (50:04):
Okay, so you got a twenty four. And then what
was your total roll? Bentley?

Speaker 5 (50:09):
You said it was a nineteen plus numbers of twenty three.

Speaker 3 (50:12):
Okay, so Bentley, you leap and seeing you make it,
that makes Richard that like fills him with some kind
of some kind of inspiration and he leaps and he
got like you went, Bentley. When you jump, you like
barely grab the side of the ship and you're like
in pull up position, like trying to pull yourself up.

(50:35):
You see as Richard goes flying over your head and
lands on the deck, and shit, and Richard, as you
land on the deck, you see a deck full of
pirates all turn around and you see as they all
point their guns at you.

Speaker 5 (50:53):
Off of Parlay call a parlay.

Speaker 2 (50:55):
I don't know what that means.

Speaker 5 (50:57):
Parlay.

Speaker 2 (50:58):
Now that that's what Richard said. It's like if you're
yelling that, Richard's like, I don't know what that means.

Speaker 3 (51:03):
You see it, Richard, Richard, what is your ac?

Speaker 2 (51:09):
What is my ac? Fifteen? No?

Speaker 3 (51:14):
Okay, Well one of them rolled one. Oh my god,
he rolled out a one twice. So you see as
his gun literally explodes in his face.

Speaker 2 (51:26):
I see here, there's two the three.

Speaker 5 (51:30):
Four going on here. He calls a parlay, and under
the rules of pirates, let's be taking the safe under
the captain. You're just saying, I don't know that.

Speaker 3 (51:40):
We'll see about that, all right. So five of them
make contact, so it's going to be thirty two bludgeoning damages.
You get riddled with shots and then make a strength
saving throw.

Speaker 2 (51:57):
Okay, a bad night saving throw that is a seventeen.

Speaker 3 (52:06):
Okay. So you you get knocked up against the side
of the ship right there where Bentley's trying to come up.
How are you doing?

Speaker 2 (52:16):
How am I doing?

Speaker 3 (52:17):
Are you still up?

Speaker 2 (52:18):
I'm alive?

Speaker 3 (52:19):
Okay, you got another one in here.

Speaker 2 (52:28):
I hear no bell.

Speaker 3 (52:31):
So so as those guys shoot, you see as they
step back, and another line of guys stands forward with
their guns. Bentley, what are you doing?

Speaker 5 (52:40):
I was just trying to climb my way up onto
the deck.

Speaker 3 (52:42):
Okay, so make me a athletics check.

Speaker 5 (52:46):
Not good, that's an okay.

Speaker 3 (52:51):
So as you try to pull yourself up, you you
the the wet wood of the ship, you kind of
slip and almost fall back off. Richard, what are you doing?

Speaker 2 (53:02):
How far up is Bentley?

Speaker 3 (53:05):
Bentley is bare like basically still holding on by his
hands on the side of the ship. Yeah you can,
you can use your action. So Bentley, he's going to
pull you, like, try to help pull you up. And
you make it onto the ship and you see a
you see as Richard is very bloody.

Speaker 5 (53:24):
Oh well that's correct. I assume it's their certain still right.

Speaker 3 (53:28):
Yeah, well it is now and you see as the
the commander from earlier steps forward and he goes you
what's he doing here?

Speaker 5 (53:41):
Well, he called for parlay, so.

Speaker 3 (53:44):
We ain't got no parlay.

Speaker 5 (53:50):
Richard. I don't think these guys are real pirates. I've
watched a lot of pirates of the Caribbean. That should
that should have worked.

Speaker 3 (53:59):
He says, he's but you're quite bold. He says, how
about I make you this offer. You jump off now
and I let you live.

Speaker 2 (54:10):
I'm just gonna look at Bentley. I just kind of
decipher what he's thinking. Not gonna use the bracelet, He's
just gonna look at try to see what he's thinking.

Speaker 6 (54:16):
Can Taylor hop on the bracelet real quick?

Speaker 3 (54:20):
I mean, there's nothing stopping you.

Speaker 6 (54:23):
Guys, get a gun, shoot it down. The boat will sink.

Speaker 1 (54:29):
Taylor as we're like treading water.

Speaker 5 (54:37):
See, I like, I like the idea idea she has.
There's a there's something cool that I could try, but
it probably wouldn't work.

Speaker 3 (54:45):
Why is it? Like I'm picturing Taylor Jacobs swimming and
it's like a horse swimming, so like the four horse legs,
and like her whole upper body is out of the water,
and she's just like, oh, this is kind of nice.

Speaker 7 (55:00):
She just uses her back half.

Speaker 6 (55:01):
So Crystal and Amy and don't have to keep treading
water like they can hang on.

Speaker 4 (55:07):
Crystal is gonna accidentally wild shape. I think because she
wants to turn into a mermaid. She's like, surely I
can make a this is a magical world. I can
make a tale. I can be a mermaid.

Speaker 3 (55:16):
And oh, all right, so I actually prepared something for
this occasion specifically, Yes.

Speaker 7 (55:26):
Christal is going to want to be a mermaid. That's
what we're calling I'm going for hermaid.

Speaker 2 (56:30):
