Hello and welcome to Palace Intry Game, your host Mark Francis.
The recent news cycle has had a lot of serious
topics and we thought it would be inappropriate to include
this one earlier in the week, but it is a
lot of fun. The Princess Royal paid a visit to
a lingerie manufacturer in South Wales, where she was even
able to offer practical advice on how to strengthen underwire bras.

Princess Anne toured Edge O Beyond in her capacity as
president of the UK Fashion and Textile Association, a role
she has held for more than forty years. During her visit,
she heard how the business has struggled to source wires
sturdy enough full larger sizes. Having recently visited a mattress
firm that produces its own steel springs, the Princess suggested

they make contact for advice on developing their own supports.
She was shown the cutting, sewing and product development stages
behind the brand's distinctive jewelry adorned lingerie before unveiling a
plaque in the factory cafeteria, surrounded appropriately by sets of
bras and knickers. Naomi Dedham, the company's founders said the
Princess was very cool, very interested in everything, adding that

she came across as very feminist. Among these subjects discussed
were corstory techniques now that the whale bone is no
longer used, and the difficulties post by what Miss Dahan
described as the censorship of the female body on social media,
which makes advertising more challenging. Photos of the Princess Royal
surrounded by bras and panties made for good times on

social media, despite her current comfort with being photographed near lingerie.
Princess Anne is said not to enjoy the secret sex
bomb jokes after an article described her as having gone
through a secret sex bomb phase in the u nineteen seventies.
The piece, which drew comparisons between Anne's hairstyle during a
visit to Tehran and Jane Fonder's look in the cult

film Barbarella, was reportedly a step too far for the
Princess Royal. A source told Women's Day that while Anne's family,
particularly Mike and Zara Tyndall, often tease her when such
stories surface, this one did test her metal. The insider added, Normally,
she'll take this for what it's meant as a compliment,
but asserting she had some kind of sex bond aspiration

is a bit of a stretch even for Anne. Prince
William has reflected on what he calls the hardest year
of his life in a rare on camera conversation with
Eugene Levy recorded at Windsor Castle for the new season
of Apple TV Plus series The Reluctant Traveler. Levy arrives
in London after receiving a handwritten note from the Prince
and is treated to a light hearted personal tour. William quips,

William speaks candidly about the toll of the past twelve months,
with both King Charles and the Princess of Wales facing

looking united. With Harry in the mix again and Charles

the Princess highlighted how the booming trade in fake handbags, trainers,
and clothing fuels exploitation. Taking to Instagram, she wrote, did
you know that fake fashion is a booming industry worth
hundreds of billions, driving a hidden web of exploitation and
harms people and planet, from forced labor and child exploitation

to human trafficking. Fake fashion, the kind you can buy online,
on the streets or on a holiday, is rife with harm.
This week, we hosted an event in NYC with fashion insiders,
behavioral change experts, brands, and specialists to shine a light
on this overlooked human rights scandal. Her charity's new initiative,
Hidden Threads Fake Fashion a Human Rights Scandal, urges governments

to collect and share data on illicit trade, enforce forced
labor bands, and push for greater accountability. As Eugenie explained,
we also urge everyone to consider whether buying a fake handbag,
football shirt, or trainers it's worth the constant people around
the world being exploited. President Trump's state visit to the
UK featured the customary exchange of gifts with Buckingham Pallas,

emphasizing the symbolism behind each item. One of those gifts
went to Kate a vintage Elsa Peretti Sterling Zodiac cuff
A signature Peretti designed that echoes pieces already in her collection.

wife Mary Todd a pearl set from the jeweler Tiffany
has given. This lineage been where presidents turn when they
are considering official gifts. President Trump gave Queen Elizabeth approach,
the Obamas and Biden's gave Tiffany gifts. The Kennedys gave
the queen silver Tiffany frame, and when the Reagans went

to Windsor for their state visit, they didn't give the
Queen a Tiffany gift, but did give one to Prime
Minister Thatcher. This visit seems to have followed this long tradition.
During the visit, President Trump singled Kate out as radiant, healthy,
and so beautiful, and his royal report of Victoria Murphy observed.
President Trump's state visit to the UK was the ultimate
example of British utilizing the soft power of the royal
