Hell Love and Welcome to Palace Intrigue. I'm your host
Mark for Answers. The efforts to make Kate and William
come across as relatable folks just like you, minus the
palaces and vacations on super yachts continues as it magically
leaked that they play pub trivia. That's right. Prince and
Princess of Wales are reportedly regulars at a local pub
quiz where they compete each week alongside their two eldest children,

(00:39):
Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Known to fellow patrons as
Team Wales, the family is said to enjoy the weekly
challenge at a pub they're one of their homes, either
a Ma Hall in Sandringham or Adelaide cottage in windsor
a fellow quiz goo told The Sun the quiz is
actually very tricky, but it's also a lot of fun.
My lips are sealed on whether Team Wales has ever

(00:59):
won first place. That nobody ever snapped the picture. The
relatable Prince stepped into the world of Doctor Who last week,
touring the famous Tartars during a visit to Bad Wolf
Studios in Cardiff William was shown around the studio which
produces the iconic sci fi series as part of celebrations
marking its tenth anniversary. William was shown around the studio

(01:21):
which produces the iconic sci fi series as part of
celebrations marking its tenth and adversary. He also toured the
set of The Other Bennett Sister, an upcoming BBC drama,
and bot trainees from Bad Wolf's Screen Alliance Wales Initiative,
many of whom have advanced their careers with help from
the Prince William BAFT Bursary program. During the visit, the

(01:43):
Prince spoke with trainees from a range of departments and
met school children from Saint Albans RC Primary School. They
were taking part in a puppetry workshop introducing them to
TV production. The workshop featured puppets used as Damon's in
the BBC series His Dark Materials. Kait is, of course,
nothing but wonderful. She recently made her first visit to

(02:03):
Arif coningsby as Royal Honorary Air Commodore, receiving briefings on
recent operations and touring a fully armed quick Reaction Alert typhoon.
Dressed in a gray check suit with stilettos. She climbed
to the cockpit and then negotiated the steep, narrow steps
backwards without a wobble, prompting admirers online to say they
were in awe as she owned those stairs like a

(02:26):
runway inside the Typhoon. Future Synthetic Training Facility instructor Jurane
White asked would you like it go, and she replied, yes,
I'd love to. The princess tried the simulator. She said
she'd only previously used one for helicopter training, then carried
out a smooth virtual climb and an aerobatic maneuver. Afterwards,

(02:46):
Group Captain Pullogrady said, she seems to be a natural pilot,
so we might have to get her qualified and get
her flying at Typhoon if she's up for it. Out now.
As Pallasentry presents King William, this speculative drama imagines the
moment the king died and William becomes king. Episode one
came out yesterday and that had the life changing phone
call from there. The story follows William through duty, grief,

(03:09):
Queen Catherine's transformation, a former queen struggling to hold her
place in the reappearance of a controversial brother, and the
entire season is available now for subscribers Cala Rugo Plus.
For everyone else, you get new episodes weekly every Sunday

(03:35):
Some reviews suggest Prince William's appearance on The Reluctant Traveler
with Eugene Levy felt less like a surprise camego and
more like a softly lit exercise and royal rebranding. The
Apple TV Plus episode, filmed around Windsor and builders, a
casual meeting between two dad types, seems designed to show
the heir to the throne as a relatable man of
modern tastes, electric scooter and all. In the episode, Levy

(03:58):
receives a handwritten in from William himself, then spends the
day tagging along as the Prince jokes about a flat tire,
reminisces about his grandmother, and offers gentle thoughts on family,
duty and change. I think if you're too intrinsically attached
to the history. You can't possibly have any flexibility, William
tells him. I think it's very important the tradition stays.

(04:19):
I think tradition is a huge part of all of this,
But there's also points where you look at tradition and say,
is that still fit for purpose today? The exchange is
carefully friendly, never journalistic, never probing. Levy's wide eyed wonderment
does much of the work, letting William appear approachable without
risking anything unscripted. He opens up just enough to acknowledge

(04:41):
that twenty twenty four was the hardest year I've ever had,
a reference to his family's health battles, but quickly turns
back to optimism, assuring viewers that everything now is progressing
in the right way. The production, complete with strolls through
windsor a mild pub chat and cameos from the family dog, order,
lands somewhere between travelogue and propaganda. Whether intentional or not,

(05:02):
It's a portrait of the man preparing to lead a
monarchy that wants to see in both modern and steady.
Levy closes the episode by saying, the monarchy has always
been so formal, but with William, you didn't get that
at all. There's a normalcy to it. That surprised me.
Took me aback More Palace in just a moment. Megan

(05:24):
Michael is reportedly planning to return to the United Kingdom
before the end of the year, marking what would be
her first visit in more than three years. According to
The Daily Mail's Richard Eden, friends of the Duchess and
Prince Harry say the couple are preparing for a joint
trip to Britain just before Christmas. Eden wrote, I can
disclose that the next planned move in the plot, or process,

(05:45):
as their powers prefer to put it, suggesting a natural progression,
is the couple's first joint visit to Britain since they
attended a charity engagement in September twenty twenty two, then
stayed on for Queen Elizabeth's funeral. Friend told the outlet
that Megan will return to the UK bearing humble pie,
adding that she intends to take a conciliatory approach during

(06:07):
the visit. Eden noted it remains to be seen where
the bearing humble pie and eating it presumably is sufficient
to placate the Royal family or the British people. If
we had to guess she'll arrive the day of Cape
Middleton's Christmas concert, as the two camps continue their cute
battle for the front page of the newspaper. Center Bali,
the charity co founded by Prince Harry, has announced it

(06:28):
is scrapping its fundraising polo matches following a dispute with
the Duke of Sussex and a wider overhaul of its operations.
The charity, which supports children and young people affected by
HIV in Southern Africa, said polo would no longer serve
as its main fundraising vehicle after years of relying heavily
on such events such as the Center Bali ISPs handa

(06:49):
Polo Cup, in which Prince Harry himself regularly played. Last year,
polo fundraising accounted for eighteen percent of the charity's total income.
The decision comes amid a rebranding at the head of
Center Bali's twentieth anniversary, and follows a bitter internal row
involving allegations of bullying and racism made by chairwoman Sophie
chan Dauka. The fallout led to the Duke's resignation as

(07:12):
patron and several trustees stepping down. In the royalist Tom
Sykes writes in Truth Center, Bali was never going to
be able to have a polo match without Harry, but
announcing it in this way seems a nasty and cotuitous
parting swipe at Harry. Scrapping polo is about cutting out
the memory and legacy of Harry's philanthropic persona. The matches
were always more theater than sport, a stage on which

(07:33):
Harry could be both Windsor scion and Diana's son, galloping
across manicured fields while raising millions. The matches were glamorous
and lucrative, but the sport itself is divisive. Harry's Netflix
backed Polo documentary was mold by critics and animal welfare
groups who dredged up the memory of the pony collapsing
under him in twenty ten. They were the most vivid

(07:54):
expressions of Harry's model of celebrity philanthropy, a Windsor in
white jobpers prince and humanitarian performing for rows of champagne
sipping donors center. Bali was never going to be able
to compete with the memory of that, a source told
Radar Online, Harry feels completely deserted. Meghan's sharing posts about
everything except standing by him. He's upset, isolated, and bewildered.

(08:16):
He's still seething about it. Another source said this is
a very delicate issue. Center Bali was Harry's initiative from
the beginning, and Meghan recognizes that she's staying quiet to
prevent making things worse. She's decided to back him behind
the scenes instead of in public. Her friend said Harry
thought Meghan would stand up for him. She's always been
outspoken about her truth. Her choice to stay quiet this

(08:38):
time has left him feeling vulnerable. Meanwhile, a conservation group
once led by Prince Harry has ended his fifteen year
partnership with the Nation of Chad amid accusations of disrespect
and mismanagement. Chad's Environment minister said the nonprofit African Parks
had shown a recurring, in delicate and disrespectful attitude toward
the government, adding the poaching had risen an investment had

(08:58):
fallen at the reserves under its care. In response, a
spokesperson for African Parks said the group was in discussions
to explore the best way forward to support the continued
protection of these landscapes that are critical to conservation. Prince
are who previously served as President of African Parks, now
sits on its board. The charity, which manages wildlife reserves
across Africa, aims to reduce poaching and promote sustainable conservation.
