A message from Catherine, the Princessof Wales. I wanted to take
this opportunity to say thank you personallyfor all the wonderful messages of support and

for your understanding whilst I've been recoveringfrom surgery. It has been an incredibly
tough couple of months for our entirefamily, but I've had a fantastic medical
team who've taken great care of me, for which I'm so grateful. In
January, I underwent major dominal surgeryin London, and at the time it

was thought that my condition was noncancerous. The surgery was successful. However,
tests after the operation fun cancer hadbeen present. My medical team therefore
advised that I should undergo a courseof preventative chemotherapy, and I am now
in the early stages of that treatment. This of course came as a huge
(01:08):
shock, and William and I havebeen doing everything we can to process and
manage this privately for the sake ofour young family. As you can imagine,
this has taken time. It hastaken me time to recover from major
surgery in order to start my treatment. But most importantly, it has taken
us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that's
(01:32):
appropriate for them, and to reassurethem that I'm going to be okay.
As I've said to them, Iam well and getting stronger every day by
focusing on the things that will helpme heal in my mind, body and
spirits. Having William by my sideis a great source of comfort and reassurance
to as is the love of supportand kindness that has been shown by so
(01:55):
many of you. It means somuch to us both. I hope that
you'll understand that as a family,we now need some time space and privacy
while I complete my treatment. Mywork has always brought me a deep sense
of joy, and I look forwardto being back when I'm a well,

but for now, I must focuson making a full recovery. At this
time, I'm also thinking of allthose whose lives are being affected by cancer.
For everyone facing the disease in whateverform, please do not lose faith

up for the Easter holidays to protectthem from gossip and intense public and media

public appearances may not signal a fulltime return immediately. The Wales family are

The Brothers Ortiz
The Brothers Ortiz is the story of two brothers–both successful, but in very different ways.
