"Palestina Israele" racconta alcuni momenti fondamentali della storica e complessa relazione tra palestinesi e israeliani. E lo fa attraverso le voci e le parole di chi quei momenti li ha provocati, combattuti, vissuti o subiti. Storie dentro e dietro la grande Storia, raccontate e raccolte da Anna Maria Selini, tra Gerusalemme, la Cisgiordania, Israele e la Striscia di Gaza, ma anche in Norvegia e Italia. Storie e testimonianze come quelle dei protagonisti degli Accordi di Oslo, dei giornalisti che rischiano o hanno perso la vita per fare il proprio lavoro.
