Welcome to Paranormality Magazine. Each week, Paranormality Magazine explores all forty een subjects,
from phantoms to UFOs and every cryptidcreature in between. Each week you're
treated to a collection of well researchedand investigated stories, interviews and reports on
(00:31):
cutting edge paranormal projects and topics theyknow you crave. And here in the
podcast, I share stories from themagazine to give you just a taste of
what you receive in every issue.I'm Darren Marler, and this is Paranormality
Magazine. For centuries, legends andfolklore around the world have told tales of
(01:02):
vast underground realms hidden deep within theEarth, from the mythic inner world inhabited
by supernatural beings, to secret passagewaysleading to hidden civilizations. The idea of
a hollow Earth has captivated the imaginationfor generations. But is it all merely
fiction and fantasy, or could theplanet we call home actually contain vast inner
(01:26):
spaces waiting to be explored. Let'slook at some of the intriguing evidence and
theories that suggest the Earth might indeedbe hollow and maybe even home to advanced
underground civilizations. As well as lookingat some possible North American entrances to a
(01:46):
hollow Earth. The central idea behindthe hollow Earth theory is that planet Earth
is either entirely hollow or contains substantialinterior spaces. Theories range from the Earth
containing several hollow areas inside its crustto the conception of a vast underground world
(02:07):
entered through polar openings. Some proponentsbelieve the interior spaces are inhabited by humanoid
or even supernatural beings with advanced knowledgeand technology. Others suggest there may be
entrances hidden around the globe that leadto these inner realms. The concept of
a hollow Earth has circulated for centuries, with some of the earliest references appearing
(02:30):
in ancient Greek, Egyptian, andMesoamerican folklore. In the seventeenth century,
British astronomer Edmund Halley proposed the Earthconsisted of several hollow, concentric spheres,
each with its own atmosphere. Movinginto the nineteenth century, eccentric thinker John
Cleves Sims promoted the idea of openingsat the poles leading to an inner world,
(02:53):
inspiring fictional tales like Jules Verne's Journeyto the Center of the Earth.
In more recent times, writers likeRaymond Bernard have expanded on theories of a
hollow Earth inhabited by advanced, spirituallyenlightened beings. So what evidence lends credence
to the possibility that our familiar outerEarth may just be a shell containing a
(03:15):
strange and unexplored inner realm. Let'sexamine some of the key areas that have
fueled speculation through the years. Theoriesof hollow Earth often point to the poles
as areas where openings might exist leadingto inner worlds. The North and South
Poles hold many curious facts that hollowEarth proponents say could be indicative of something
(03:38):
unusual hidden beneath the surface ice.For one, why have no humans ever
been allowed to independently explore or traverseAntarctica or the Arctic Ocean north of a
certain line? What might world governmentsknow about these extreme polar regions they don't
want revealed. Some hollow Earth believerspoint to a anomalies and polar explorations such
(04:01):
as Operation high Jump in nineteen fortyseven led by Admiral Richard Byrd, the
well equipped American expedition and to Antarcticaended abruptly after only a few weeks,
with Bird mentioning in his diary apotential land beyond the South Pole that could
be an enchanted continent in the sky. Land of everlasting mystery? Was Bird
(04:24):
deliberately silent about an incredible discovery inthe Antarctic interior In the North Mysterious expeditions
have aimed for the North Pole, only to go missing or experienced catastrophes,
such as the disappearance of the USSSkate submarine in nineteen sixty two after traveling
to the Pole area. These andother strange polar occurrences have fueled speculation about
(04:48):
what secrets may lurk at the Earth'sextremities. Scientific measurements of gravity and the
magnetic fields around the poles also pointto possible hitiden caverns deep inside the Earth.
Gravity has been shown to be significantlyweaker in areas closer to the polar
regions than it should be based onstandard models of Earth's interior. No one
(05:12):
has been able to adequately explain thesegravitational anomalies using conventional solid earth theory.
On the other hand, if theassumption is made the openings exist from the
poles into hollow inner Earth spaces, the anomalies begin to make sense. Similarly,
magnetic fields in the polar areas donot conform to expected patterns, with
(05:33):
drifting and unaccountable north south aberrations thatoften require recalibration of navigation equipment on airplanes
and ships. Changing magnetic fields couldbe produced by electromagnetic activity inside the Earth
interacting with the open polar entrances.Again, this fits with hollow Earth theory,
(05:54):
whereas the conventional idea of Earth asa solid, spinning ball has no
reasonable explanation for such odd polar magneticbehavior. Legends from around the world speak
of lost civilizations that disappeared below ground, or from islands that sank into the
sea to become hidden worlds. TheMayans told of the people preceding their culture
(06:16):
descending into the mysterious underground realm ofZibalba. Native Americans spoke of the lost
continent of Aztlun that became submerged underwater. Are these simply myths or cultural memories
of ancient societies that managed to enterthe legendary Inner Earth kingdoms? Some hollow
(06:38):
Earth theorists believe the Inner Earth ishome to strange beings with advanced intelligence.
These could be advanced human descendants ofpast surface civilizations now living in secret in
inner Earth caverns, or they mightbe supernatural or extraterrestrial in nature. The
Nazis were rumored to have mounted expeditionsto Antarctica and other polar redaire in search
(07:00):
of entrances to these hidden worlds andmake the contact with the inhabitants said to
dwell within the Earth. The possibilityremains these stories and conjectures may have a
core of truth centering around the secretinner Earth reality. If the Earth is
hollow, where exactly are the passagewaysand entrances leading to the mysterious inner worlds.
(07:24):
While polar openings could play a role, there are also indications of hidden
entry points all around the globe, including some potentially right here in North America.
Here are a few speculated locations thathave surfaced repeatedly as potential gateways to
a hollow earth. Mount Shasta innorthern California is said to contain secret caverns
(07:46):
leading inside the Earth, as wellas hiding the hidden city Shambala, inhabited
by an advanced inner Earth civilization.Local legend speaks of a now lost river
canyon once near Shasta that descended deepinto the Earth and could enable entry past
the surface crust. An extinct volcano, Mount Shasta shows evidence of immense underground
(08:09):
tunnels and caverns, making it oneof the most supported hollow Earth access points.
The Grand Canyon in Arizona contains milesof unexplored, difficult to access caves
winding through its towering walls. Archaeologicaldiscoveries indicate ancient civilizations inhabited these caverns and
(08:30):
tunnels, using them as shelter andtransportation routes. Does the vast Grand Canyon
system link up to inner Earth realmsdeep below the Colorado riverbed. Some researchers
believe the elevators inside the Great Canyoncaverns might descend further than known hiding tunnels
into hollow Earth. Canada's Great SlaveLake was identified by early Hollow Earth theorist
(08:56):
John Cleves Sims as a possible northernan access point to our planets hidden interior.
The enormous and deep lake is shroudedin mystery and legends of a lost
subterranean city beneath its cold waters.Magnetic and gravity anomalies have been reported around
Great Slave Lake, fueling speculation thatsomething unexplained occupies the seemingly bottomless depths below
(09:22):
is an entrance to inner Earth realmswaiting to be uncovered in this Canadian lake.
The Mammoth Cave system of Kentucky isthe largest known cave network in the
world, spanning over four hundred milesof mapped tunnels and caverns. Despite its
immense scale, only a fraction ofthe caves have been studied by modern science.
(09:43):
Legends say the original and digitous tribesof the region believed Mammoth Cave led
to the Inner Earth, warning thatdeep cave exploration was fraught with danger and
required guidance from spirit beings. Doesthis extensive, still largely unexplored labyrinth holds
secrets of Inner Earth access and inhabitants. Yellowstone National Park sits atop one of
(10:09):
the most seismically active locations in NorthAmerica. The boiling springs and molten caverns
just below Yellowstone's surface point to thepotential for the area to contain deeper chambers
and passageways below the Earth's crust.Yellowstone demonstrates how a geologically volatile area might
produce openings and pathways to hidden innerEarth domains, potentially hosting underground civilizations.
(10:35):
While Yellowstone's secrets remain well guarded.Hollow Earth truth seekers propose it is a
location likely harboring Inner Earth access. The hypothesized existence of a hollow Earth remains
one of the world's most intriguing mysteriesand sources of speculation. While theories of
the Earth contain vast inner spaces andcivilizations of captured thinkers centuries, modern science
(11:01):
believes they're likely only fodder for sciencefiction. Yet the anomalies, stories and
clues of an unconventional reality existing belowcontinue to fascinate. As one ancient proverb
states, the Earth is hollow andthe sky is hollow, and they are
each joined to each other. Willfuture expeditions one day uncover the hidden truth
(11:26):
of these worlds and reveal the planetwe inhabit is far more than meets the
eye. The call of the InnerEarth still beckons, waiting to share its
secrets, or perhaps somebody knows aphone number to reach King Kong. I
hear he lives in a hollow Earthalong with Godzilla, and we know those
(11:46):
guys are real. University of Queenslandphysicists have recently published a new study showing
how time travel could theoretically occur withoutresulting in problematic paradoxes like the Grandfather paradox.
(12:07):
The study, conducted by student GermaineTobar and Professor Fabio Costa, argues
that determinism in physics allows for adaptingspaces and times to avoid inconsistencies caused by
time traveler's actions. So even ifa time traveler went to the past to
change events, the events would adjustin unexpected ways to still ultimately occur,
(12:30):
avoiding paradoxes. Their mathematical model demonstrateshow Einstein's theory of general relativity, which
predicts time loops, can be compatiblewith free will and classical physics principles that
expect to find outcomes based on asystem's initial conditions. While actually engineering time
travel remains highly speculative, this newresearch gives theoretical support to the possibility.
(12:56):
As Professor Costa summarized, the mathscheck out and the results are the stuff
of science fiction. The model essentiallyshows time finding alternative pathways if a time
traveler's actions obstruct the original events thatled the time traveler to go to the
past in the first place. Sofar, this proposal to resolve time travel
(13:18):
paradoxes remains abstract and contained to mathematicalproof, not experimental validation, but it
does add an intriguing new perspective tothe debate on if and how humanity may
someday achieve what is currently only donein movies like Back to the Future,
actual time travel not resulting in universebreaking paradoxes. Deep beneath the bustling streets
(13:48):
of major cities like New York andTokyo, a paranormal mystery persists the alleged
existence of loop stations. Saunton undergroundsubway stops are said to exist in dimensions
beyond our own reality, frozen pocketsof time from era's long past. The
(14:11):
lore surrounding loop stations is steeped inurban legend and fringe paranormal theories. According
to accounts, these stations can onlybe accessed by staying on a subway train
past its final destination stop. Asthe train continues onto a runway course,
the doors will seemingly reopen into oneof these ethereal loop station platforms, trapped
(14:35):
in their own dimensional plane. Internetaccounts describe an eerie site. Upon arriving
at a loop station, Ancient tiledfloors, flickering, dim lighting, and
crumbling platforms set a haunting scene.Dusty vintage advertisements paper the walls, while
derelict early twentieth century subway cars situnmoved, as though frozen at the moment
(15:00):
they were abandoned decades ago. InNew York City, urban explorers recount discovering
decrepit underground tunnel sections and archaic stationsnot found on any official maps or transit
records. Similarly, in Japan, the loop stations take on an even more
paranormal reputation. Some insist these forsakenplaces exist as doorways into alternate, parallel
(15:24):
worlds. A few urban explorers evenclaim to have ventured into loop stations only
to emerge back in the normal subwaysystem with no perceivable time laps, as
though the stations occupy a realm wherethe law of physics don't apply. However,
most rational explanations ride off loop stationtails as mythologized versions of old,
(15:48):
abandoned or repurposed transit areas. Stillthe haunting idea that our commuter rail system
contains gateways to spectral frozen worlds persistsin the paranormal fringe. Did early subway
workers once catch glimpses of these unsettlingpockets of space and time? Or are
loop stations merely cautionary allegories of howquickly the march of time renders the new
(16:15):
obsolete. Whether rooted in truth orurban folklore, loop station stories stir the
imagination with tatalizing thoughts of secret interdimensionalpathways existing just beyond the shadow of the
underground tunnels beneath our feet. Thehaunting question remains what lies at the end
(16:37):
of the line. The last timeanyone saw Kenny Veach was on November tenth,
twenty fourteen. He told his familythat he was going to stay overnight
in the Mojave Desert and walked outinto the sandy abyss. As an experienced
(17:00):
hiker and explorer, it wasn't uncommonfor him to disappear to record videos for
his popular YouTube channel, Only thistime he didn't take his camera. He
left it behind at his house.Whatever he had in mind, it would
not go onto his YouTube account. His car and cell phone were also found,
(17:21):
but not his body, nor wasany other trace of him. Kenny
was no stranger to the Mahave either. He had logged plenty of time out
in those conditions. The temperature outthere can get as high as one hundred
and thirty four degrees fahrenheit fifty eightcelsius. It would be easy to die
from heat, exhaustion or dehydration inan area like that. But then,
(17:44):
why hasn't his body been found yet? The following information is even stranger than
that. The story itself could connectto numerous conspiracy theories and even create new
ones. He was in search ofa cave that he had named M Cave
as it was shaped like a capitalM. He claimed in an earlier video
(18:04):
that it made him feel nervous andthat he could feel his entire body vibrate.
His last video was actually him searchingfor that cave, but he was
unsuccessful. He'd gone out only armedwith a nine milimeters pistol and his camera.
The first time he mentioned the mysteriouscave wasn't even on his own YouTube
(18:25):
channel, but instead was a commenton someone else's video. The video was
one entitled the Son of an Areafive Technician by YouTube channel Serious Disclosure.
Kenny Veach commented that ain't nothing I'ma long distance hiker. One time,
during one of my hikes out byNellis Air Force Base, I found a
hidden cave. The entrance to thecave was shaped like a perfect capital M.
(18:51):
I always enter every cave I find, But as I began to enter
this particular cave, my whole bodybegan to vibrate. The closer I got
to the cave entrance, the worstthe vibrating became. Suddenly, I became
very scared and high tailed it outof there. That was one of the
strangest things that ever happened to me. Kenny's comment sparked a sensation with his
(19:11):
fans, who asked him to lookfor that cave again. When he was
unsuccessful, some of his fans wereupset, while others urged him to not
look for the cave. They wereworried that the dreadful feeling and the vibrations
were bad signs, and they didnot want him to get hurt by whatever
may be creating these. Kenny ultimatelydid not heed this advice and continued searching.
(19:36):
Kenny's girlfriend, Sharon Pilgrim, hadher own theory as to what happened
to him, saying, I believehe committed suicide. He battled depression for
many years and would not take medicationor see a doctor. He quit his
job a little more than a yearbefore he disappeared. One helicopter flyover was
done and there was no trace ofKenny or any of his camping things.
(19:57):
They found his car in the area. I told them it would be They
did find his cell phone by themind shaft in the video. The mind
shaft was only about a four hourhike from his car. It is my
feeling he left it behind so hecould not be tracked from the GPS in
it. He also did not takehis video camera with him on this solo
hike. It was left in hishome, so he had no intention of
(20:19):
filming anything. Is it possible thatKenny would do the unthinkable or did he
find the cave and simply become anotherspelunking victim lost forever in the tombs of
the earth. One thing we oughtto point out is the vibrations he was
feeling. There have also been recordingsand many reports of people hearing trumpeting sounds
(20:42):
across the world, sometimes so loudthat the experiencer cannot sleep. Thus far,
nobody's been able to declare what thesesounds are from what many have been
able to gather. It even bafflesscientists, and some even call it a
hoax or these vibrations connected to thetrumpet sounds. Some people even say this
(21:04):
is connected to buried experiments being committedby the US government, as it is
close to Nellis Air Force Base.Until his body is located, though,
these will just be theories. Thanksfor listening to Paranormality Magazine. Get more
