Speaker 2 (00:11):
Mom and dad. Entrepreneurs tell us.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Their inspiring stories, learn about products that could make both
you and your child's life easier and more fun, and
of course, fellow parents discuss and laugh about what's happening
in their child's world. Motherhood is a journey. Thanks for
joining me onmine. Welcome to Passport Mommy. I'm Michelle Jerson,
and I am thrilled to be coming to you this

(00:33):
week from the beautiful rivier Amaya, and I couldn't think
of a better place to be staying than at El
Dorado Royal. It is part of Loma's Hospitalities group of hotels,
and I am sitting here with Andre's Arace and we
are going to talk about all of the many things
that you can do here, because this is not just
any hotel any property.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
You have a group of resorts here.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
That cater to both adults only, which many adults who
would like to get away with kids can very much
appreciate and couples could appreciate and then you also have Generations,
which is a family friendly property, as well as Nickelodeon
with this great water park. So thank you so much
for joining me today. Let's talk about Loma's Hospitality in

(01:16):
general and all of your different properties here.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Love it well.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
Let me start Michelle by saying, you already did a
fantastic job presenting our product, so you perfectly gave you
the perfect introduction. Loma's Hospitality is a portfolio of hotels
here in Rivera, Maya whose mission is to present Mexico
to the world in a very authentic way. So it's
it's the real Mexican experiences. I like you, you shure,

(01:40):
and I'm me personally being one hundred percent Mexican. Working
in a company like this makes me makes me very proud.
So you're touched in a very very interesting point. One
of our key brands, which is Elder other resorts catering
for adults only.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
I'm a single dad, so okay, so you know I
need get away.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
So whenever, whever my girlfriend is, your destination is like,
we need to take five, Sophia will say with Grandma,
Oh yes, It's all about service, It's all about attention
to detail. It's all about filling on this perfect bubble,
you know. So from the food, which I think is
one of our core elements here at Lomas hospitality all

(02:25):
the way down to entertainment or simply chilling in a
really nice spot having a drink. I think the main
mission here is for you to take out the block
from your daily routine, your daily brush, and then be
able to dive into relaxation, which we should look for
more often.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Absolutely, And I have to say, you know, yesterday I
left my kids at the airport because we were all
in Florida together and I came here and I was
having a lot of guilt, but I took myself to
one of the really nice commands by the ocean event.
I laid there for an hour and always good. It's
a personal kid, yes exactly. So tell me about some

(03:03):
of the activities, because it's more than.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Just your typical all inclusive property.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
That includes the meals, which we'll talk about all of
the different restaurants, but what else is included?

Speaker 4 (03:13):
So well, let's break down first some of the myths
about all inclusives. Sometimes they go like, oh, all inclusive
might not be great quality. Well, in here we've changed
the game. When it comes to food, we're going to
make sure that you're really well taken care off. Yes,
when it comes to the drinks, the activities, But as
you mentioned, with our more inclusive experience, we take the

(03:36):
experience beyond the restort. So when you stay with us,
you'll not only enjoy all these amenitistant services in property,
but you can venture into acatamer and experience since no
oracle because you're already here in Vera. Maay, yeah, you
want to explore absolutely right.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
Yes, there's a reason.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Why you're Blue Waters.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
There's a reason why you picked Mexico for you, right.
You also have wave Runners. We have a beach club
with an international brunch featuring more than twenty different stations.
So imagine being at one of the best beaches in
the River Madia, which is Maroma Beach, and then enjoying
Indian food, Italian food, of course, you can a miss

(04:19):
having some nice beaches or traditional Mexican food like cocinita
or tacos, but all within one place. So when you
stay at our resorts, you get to explore many many
of the opportunity we have out there. Now for those adventurers,
there's this really really beautiful place called Actunchin These are

(04:43):
underground caves with a senote. So if you're really into
the Dirty Explorer, yes that's your go to and all
that is included, and we take care of you from
the moment that you land. Roundtrip airport transportation is included.
We of course included transfers for all these activities that

(05:06):
I just touched on. So it's really the whole comba
right here.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Absolutely.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
I mean to be able to come to a property,
have access to all of your other properties as well
as all of the activities. And you mentioned wave runners.
I mean I just say those are usually pretty pricey
to rent, and so to have those included, that's a
real bonus.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Absolutely, And all this again, it's not the wave runners
in one place. If you go to Maroma Beach, that's
where the catamar and sales from. That's where you do
the jet skiss. The only one that takes a little
lecher is when you go to Acting Chin. But we've
really thought of this very carefully.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Absolutely all right.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
So now let's go back and talk about the cuisine,
because we had some phenomenal cuisine last night for dinner,
and you have so many different types of restaurants here,
so no matter how many days you're here, I don't
think you'll ever get bored.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
Right, So from the moment you wake up in the wing,
you'll have great options for breakfast. We have buffet options,
we have a like art options for lunch and for dinner,
and pretty much you name cuisine type and will most
likely have it from our wine kitchen experience and generations

(06:19):
all the way down to Asian cuisine. With we also
have Italian foot Actually I don't know if the music
can be heard in the background, but we hear a
little bit of Italian here. Well, it's one of our
Meditaranian restaurants. And the good thing is that, as you mentioned,
no matter how many days you're seeing with us, you'll
have different options every and every night. Yes, So one

(06:43):
of this property that we are at right now, Elder
Other Royale, has something very unique, and it's that it's
located in the same complex as two of our other properties,
Other Casita's Royale and Generations, so they share privileges. So
now multiply the restaurants, the bars, the entertainment by three properties.

(07:08):
So I think you're going to have to come back
a couple of times to.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Be able to try everything absolutely, and even just walking
from El Dorado Royale two Generations where we had dinner
last night, I passed an ice cream shop, I passed
a coffee shop, the buffet, the tacos, and of course
I had to try a little bit from everything, and
so that really makes it a lot of fun.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
And that's something something very important that you that you mentioned.
It's not only about the restaurants. It's not only the
seating experience, but the gurmet corners that we have. So
the ice cream shop, which by the way, I like
to brag about because it's all all the all the
ice cream is done in house, nice and it's not
your traditional flavors. Of course, you'll find the fan favorites,

(07:50):
you know, chocolate vanilla ice cream, but you'll also also
find cactus. You'll find at roscon Leche, which is a
traditional desert here in Mexico. Do you think of something wild,
You're probably gonna find it. Yeah, So that's or imagine
all of a sudden, you're hanging out by the pool
and all of a sudden, a.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Tricycle with.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
A mixologists comes out and prepurse your favorite drink or
your creation or you're walking down the resort and then
a small cart with popsicles or corn comes out and
prepares it in a really authentic way. So those are
the moments that really make your vacation. Those are little

(08:34):
things that say, you know what, I pick the perfect resort.
And it's small things that have a big impact.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Absolutely.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
And one thing we didn't mention yet, which was my
first stop after landing here, was going to your health bar.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
And I felt like, you know what, I'm tired. I
need something to rejuvenate me.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
And you have just such a wide array of vegetable
and fruit juices and milkshakes and protein drinks. And I
think that's really need to have on property that you
don't always see one percent.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
And I think that a year after year, travelers have
become more mindful about taking care of their health, no
matter if they go away, because you know, perhaps if
we speak about ten years ago, it was an Onlink
exclusive was cheeseburgers, hot dogs and nachos, right right, People
are looking to take care of themselves, to exercise, So

(09:26):
we have sports facilities, we have pickable courts, we.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
Have the gym exactly, and then your menu too, really
caters to those with maybe dairy or gluten allergies, because
you have a lot of vegan options and gluten free
and I think that's wonderful too.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
That is correct. We're experts on that. So no matter
if you have a Celiac disease, if you don't tolerate gluten,
if there's any particular kind of food that you simply
don't it, even if it's not analergy, we can accommodate that.
Our chefs go way above and beyond. My daughter is
three years old. Well she's about to be four in February,

(10:01):
but I took her to Generations and back then she
was younger than one year old. I think she was
like ten months and we needed babyfoot, but we didn't
want all these that are already packed. I'm going to
say brands, right, I hear you. But the ship went like, okay,
what do you need? Would you like us to prepare
something fresh for the baby? And they made handmade babyfoot wonderful.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
That was the game changer.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Yes, I love that you mentioned Celiac because I have
a nephew who's Celiac and they have to be really
careful where they travel.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
So to know that when you check in.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
They ask you right away do you have any allergies
and they give you a card. I love that you're
very conscious about that.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
We want to make sure you can disconnect without any worse.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
So where can we go for information on how to
book our getaway to any of your resorts with Lomas Hospitality.

Speaker 4 (10:54):
You can visit our website which is Lomas Hospitality dot
com and in there you will find all the information
of our properties, from pictures to details in the room categories,
what kind of experiences you can find inside of the
resorts entertainment.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Thank you so much, andres Arat, thank you for joining
me today on Passport Mommy and for having me your
beautiful property.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
Here you're listening to Passport Mommy.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
I'm Michelle Jerson and I have the honor right now
sitting next to missus Dolores Lopez Lerash. She is the
chairwoman and founder of Group O Lomas. So everything that
we have been speaking about about these amazing properties, about
the travel company, about everything that you can experience while
you're here in Riviera and Nomaya is thank you to
her and her daughter Samantha, who will be speaking with later.

(11:41):
So thank you so much for joining me today. I
have really enjoyed hearing about everything here and especially your
staff and how everything runs. So tell me a little
bit about you, because I think your story is amazing.

Speaker 6 (11:54):
Well, thank you very much for being with us, for
your time and your interest getting us to talk to
the world.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (12:03):
We are a family owned business. We started from scratches
and thanks to the loyalty of our customers, we had
been able to grow in several units such as the
ground operation, the Marina hotels, et cetera. As you have reported.

(12:26):
Now we have some hotels here at Rivetra Mayaana Hotel
and California, Baja California and Mexico, very remarked. And we
dedicate a lot of to fits that means individual travelers,
but also to groups, conventions and very very special weddings.

(12:49):
And I would like to expand a little bit with
an specialist who is Shelley. She can tell you a
lot of all the crazy things that we are forced
to do to make a Memorial Day the dream.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Day absolutely, and I have to say I have passed
by two weddings so far, and it really is such
a dream destination to be able to do it here
and to know that they have a team behind them
that will make sure everything goes as smoothly. And I
have seen pictures, so I know that you do whatever
you need to do to make the guests happen. So
tell me about some of the offerings.

Speaker 7 (13:27):
Yeah, So for example, here on the resort, we have
some different locations very popular. So right now we have
done more than a thousand weddings, I mean here for
ten years, so I mean have done our more than
one hundred Indian weddings. So we have the capacity and
the location to do South Asian weddings become very popular
to do that, but also we do westerns, so we

(13:47):
have all kinds. We have done five weddings in one day. Wow,
we have a team. We have amazing team here on
the resort. The backup plans in case of bad weather.
We have done weddings in the middle of storm without
that crazy. So right, like the thing is, so it's
a beautiful location to do and not just here at
the Royal we have Maroma, which is the most beautiful

(14:08):
beach in the rivera Maya and that inside.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
So yes, and I think it's really nice for those
who don't want to throw maybe a huge wedding at home,
but they want to have a really meaningful wedding with
those who are close to them, but a great place
to come and then you can get your honeymoon in
as well.

Speaker 8 (14:23):
Well.

Speaker 7 (14:24):
We also have renewvals, so you will have a couple
you just to share the bouts within herself and.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
We can do that.

Speaker 7 (14:29):
So we have a lot of type of weddings.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Terrific And so if somebody wanted to go ahead and
plan a wedding, where would they get started.

Speaker 7 (14:36):
They can start the weddings on the website was weddings
by Lomastravel dot com or at weddings at Lomas Hospitality
dot com, so they can reach management and one of
those we're gonna reach the couple with the availability.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
Perfect As absolutely as I said, I saw a couple
of weddings going on and they were just absolutely spectacular.
It's just so meaningful. I mean I cried walking fast
and I don't even know these people. So between the
backdrop of having the beautiful Caribbean and then your staff,
it really makes it wonderful and all attributed to you
and your daughter. I mean, really, I love hearing that

(15:12):
a woman team.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Is running this great, big company.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
You can just tell that it really goes down to
every employee that's here, and everybody loves being here.

Speaker 6 (15:23):
Well as you can experience our stuff. It's I wouldn't
say old, but have been with us for several years. Yes,
so they are part of the team. Actually, they are
the ones who deliver everything to our clients. So they
are the most important person in our company because we

(15:45):
depend on them, the clients depend on them, and everybody's
happiness depend on our step right.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
And I love how involved you are as well on
a daily basis. You're not just management that might sit
up somewhere and let everybody else run it. You make
sure it is running the way you'd like it to
be run.

Speaker 6 (16:01):
I should say you love it, but they hate it.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
And if it's going.

Speaker 6 (16:06):
Back to the weddings, I would like to remark that
it's not just the day of the wedding. It takes
years of preparation and communication between the groom, the bride
and sometimes the parents. Yes, with the stuff, they have
to make sure everybody understands the details because it's amazing

(16:31):
and we learn from experience. I want a pink flower,
and it depends on what type of pink and I
want a Mexican drink and you can have the Killam
Skull wine. I mean, there are so many choices in
our country that your rather make sure that that day
becomes the dream day and not the nightmare right.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Exactly, because there's nothing worse. The bride and groom are
already stressed out. They want to know that they're going
to have a nice, smooth wedding and they don't don't
have to worry about anything. So to know that you
take every detail into consideration and that they don't have
to worry about it really speaks wonders. And then do
you offer photographers here as well?

Speaker 6 (17:09):
Photographer videos? And I know you have seen through welcome
the property. We have crazy entertainment like Robertson showers everything,
So yes.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Just as for it, absolutely yeah.

Speaker 6 (17:24):
Only think that we cannot accomplish is the being elephant, okay,
but we have camels.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Perfect, that's all we need.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Well, thank you so much for joining me today past four, mommy,
is such a pleasure meeting you.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Thank you, please, sure, thank you.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
I'm Michelle Jerson. We're coming up in a few you're
listening to Passport, mommy. I'm Michelle Jerson. And I'm thrilled
to be here with Vicente Maigrigal. He is the commercial
director of the Lomas Group, which the Lomas Group is
so much more than just Lomas Hospitality, more than the resorts,
it is also Lomas Travel. You come to one of

(17:58):
their resorts and you are also getting an inclusive and
I mean more inclusive experience because they also have as
part of the group a ranch that you can visit,
a water park, another beautiful property where you can go
swimming in a snote and we're going to talk all
about that, Vicente. We touched on it a little bit

(18:18):
earlier with Andres, but tell me a little bit more
about this more inclusive option when you book a property
with Lamas Group.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
For us, when we decide to go further on what
we're offering to the guests that are coming to the destination,
we realize that you that we have so many options
within the group we this side and we realize, as
I mentioned before, that we can offer more and what
is the more inclusive? The more inclusive is we wanted

(18:46):
to give more experiences to the guests and make their
trip much easier. Why is that because, as you know,
as part of travel of Lama's travel. We have transportations.
It's where the experience begins. So we when they book
the more inclusive with us, they include the transportation from
the airport to the hotel, which is the first big

(19:10):
thing that can realize that there's something different. Then when
you arrive to the hotels. Of course, in an all
inclusive we have almost all included, but we decide as
well to enhance all the experiences in the hotel such
as astronomy, entertainment, sports, wellness. But more than that due

(19:32):
as you mentioned before, we have the Aroma Beach where
it is probably the nicest and more the best beach
in the destination, where we have catamarant where we have ATVs,
where we have a fantastic branch with more than twenty
different stations of food. Of course, if they just want

(19:52):
to relax, we have the bally beds and many other
sports in there, and as well, another activity that the
guests can do is going to Bonanza or they can
swim in a senote or enjoy with the different animals
we have there because as you probably know, in Bonanza
we have animals that have been rescued by us. So

(20:16):
is something very different when they find out. Yes, for families, yes,
you can go to the aqua park, which is probably
not probably is the best aqua park in the destination.
And for those that are more adventurous, I can say
they can go to Actun Chain which is Senaties and

(20:38):
all the rivers and the caves. So what we want
to offer to our guests is more experiences can become here,
but experiences that they can do with safety and they
can really enjoy it and they don't have to go
far away from the hotels. So that the idea is

(21:01):
to offer more for our guests and taking advantages of
all the services that we have as Lomas Group.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
And I have to say just to back up a
little bit when you talk about the transportation, I have
flown into Cancun before and I have been amongst the
craziness that can be in getting your transportation and getting
to a property, and Lomas made it so easy to
just I mean, the vehicles were beautiful, comfortable, the driver friendly,

(21:33):
and I literally found the Lomas travel booth and there
was somebody holding up a sign but I missed it.
But so I easily found the Lomas Group and it
was right away onto the vehicle, and I have to
say that it's not an experience I've had in the
past when I've flown in here. So that was really
nice and it really just gives you. It's your introduction
into what's to be expected.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
Something important to say about the transportation. We are one
of the very few companies in the destination that owns
all the transports. We don't rent to anyone else. All
the drivers has been trained by us. All the drivers
are in our payroll, so we have total control on

(22:12):
what is going on with the transportation. Of course, we
have a call center and in case something happens. And
as you say, it's very easy to find our staff
in the airport because all of them are well uniforms
with our particular turquoise colors. Yes, so you can find
them very easily. And we have a very experienced operation

(22:38):
in the airport.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
Absolutely, and it really does. When you come here, immediately
they take your luggage for you. It's an easy check in.
Everything was smooth. So let's talk about the ranch a
little bit, because you mentioned that there are rescued animals
and I really enjoyed speaking with the owner of the
ranch and how it came to be tell me a
little bit about the history, because I think it's a

(23:00):
really fun activity for both kids and adults.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
As you know, Samantha one of our founders, our CEO,
she loves animals and she is a horse rider, so
that's one of her passions and taking advantage of that
and taking advantage of all the land we have here.
They decide to found Bonanza for two things. One is

(23:25):
to rescue animals and to feed them and to taking
care of them, which is a great social liver, I
would say. And the other one is, as you know,
we are very close to all the mangroves, so in
that area we found that there is a senote, so
we are taking advantage of that sure rescue animals, take

(23:46):
care of them. And for our clients they can enjoy
having an adventurous, short experience because it doesn't take you
more than two three hours probably to be there. I
think for those guests or tourists that live in New York,
as you which is difficult to find like an experience

(24:07):
that they can take advantage on this absolutely, and it's
only if you're staying at El Dorado Royale or in
Generations or in Casitas. It takes you fifteen minutes to
get there, of course with transport from our Glomas travel right.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
And I love when you as part of the all
Inclusive or the more Inclusive, I should say, in addition
to those activities off the resort, on the resort, you
have a.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
Lot from gym class, fitness classes.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
To We launch the More Inclusive last year and we
found out we found that some of the guests doesn't
want to go out. So what we decide is to
enhance all the activities we have within the hotel so
they can enjoy much the resort. Let's say that way,

(24:59):
we enhanced all the pop ups in food, we enhance
the wellness activities, we enhance the entertainment. So we also
do like wow moments in different parts of the hotel,
like the tequila tasting or things like this, so the

(25:19):
guests can when they walk around the hotel, they can
find sometimes certain activities that they didn't know exactly. So
we want to surprise our guests.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
Yes, and I do love that everything is so close,
so you can do some of that in the morning,
and then you can go and do an activity in
the afternoon and then come back exactly and you've had
a lot of travel advisors work with you over the years,
and it speaks volumes as to they obviously believe in
the product and they want to tell the world about it.
So tell me about your relationship with them all of

(25:50):
these years.

Speaker 3 (25:51):
Well, as you know, our founder starts the company with
a travel agency and she started with all the services
and transportation here in the destination. So she and her
husband started with the travel agency a few years or
forty years or forty three years ago, and of course
they started a very close relationship with the travel agents

(26:14):
because no matter what, we have bdms or sales people
in the different territories in the US and Canada and
of course Mexico promoting our services. So who we found
out that the travel agents helped us a lot. So

(26:35):
our commitment for the travel agents community is to keep
them informed, to be loyal to them, to be supportive
to them in order to help them to sell our
properties and all our services. And well, they have been very,

(26:55):
very supportive to our company. I have been in this
business for many years and I can tell you that
probably this company is the one that has the most
closest relationship directly with the travel agents.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
And that's you know, It's funny because a lot of
people nowadays might say, why do I need a travel agent?
I can find everything I need online. But you just
brought up a really excellent point about why you would
need a travel agent because maybe they know something that
you didn't find online, and they have found this niche
hotel or these niche resorts that really offer so much
more than they would have imagined.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
Correct. Because we spend a lot of time training the
travel agents in our different products, and it's nowadays could
be easy to send information to everyone else, but do
that we train them on a regular basis. They know
everything from our case in of course, in our services,
but also on the destination and also about Mexico. So

(27:50):
you say it right, they have more information that anyone
else has in this case, in our destination. So that's
why we we keep training. And you know, many different
things have happened in the last years and many people say, well,
the travel agents are not gonna be any more necessary.

(28:14):
I don't think it's true, because many people need someone
to be to advise them on what to do or
how to get there, or what the experiences they can do.
So for me, travel agents will remain in this business
for many years. So our commitment is to keep them
trained and to keep them, of course pampered, right, and

(28:38):
that's why we offer them every year this magnificent event,
the Lomas Appreciation Week.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
Yes, and it's been wonderful.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
And in addition to how you treat travel agents your staff,
one thing that I've learned since being here is most
of them are Mexicans. So when you visit here, you
are getting a true experience about the Mexican culture and
you see it.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
You see it through everybody that you meet. So happy.
I mean, I don't know everybody here.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
They could say hello a gazillion times a day because
they're always saying hello to everybody. And it's really very
nice and it makes you feel at home. And I
think the first thing they say to you when you
arrive is welcome home. And that's really how it feels.

Speaker 3 (29:17):
Yeah, it's part of a rubber nature. We as Mexicans,
we love to serve, but more in an environment like this,
and more in a company that their primary principles is
to take care of the people and generate jobs. And
of course we try to make them feel at home,

(29:37):
the guests and of course us, the employees and we
have to transmit that to our guests. And I don't
want to I don't want to sound I don't know
how to say that in English. But what I'm going
to try to say is Mexico is famous for its service. Yes,
and the only thing we do is we serve the

(29:59):
way the way we are. It is very easy for
us to get to deliver the service because is the
way the Mexicans are right.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
And I think the way you treat your staff is
a reflection on how they treat the guests. And I
have not had one negative interaction with anyone, not even close.
And so I think when somebody visits here, they could
really feel very comfortable and know that they're going to
be well taken care of, knowing that you are taking
very good.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
Care of your staff.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
So where can we go from more information to book
everything that you have to offer? Where can we read
up about all of the different options, maybe how we
decide which property is best for what we're looking for.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
Well, you can find talking about the travel agents. You
can find the information on the Lomas Hospitality and Group
of Lomas in any travel agency in the States or
in Canada. It's the first step the other is you
can go to our webpage which is Lomas Hospitality dot
com or Lomas Travel dot com to find information.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
On us and real quickly.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
Do you have anything coming up for the holidays that
which know better? If we're looking for last minute getaway.

Speaker 3 (31:13):
Well for the holidays, we always have different promotions. We
just finished the Black Friday very successfully. Uh for you
can find the information in our web page which is
Lamas Hospitality dot com. For for our resources. Everyone can
find anything there or everything there. Promotions will come for

(31:37):
not for the not for the holidays, because the occupancy
of thanks God and the job of for my colleagues,
we have a very good occupancy from all December, I
would say, but you can find certain certain dates. But
I think we're going to launch a big promotion by
the end of December. This is going to be a
surprise for everyone with some offers for the rest of

(32:01):
the year for twenty twenty seven perfect.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
I love it.

Speaker 6 (32:04):
Well.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
Thank you so much for Sentai Madrigal. Thank you for
joining me today on Passport Mommy and for introducing me
to this beautiful property and your entire hospitality group and
travel group.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (32:14):
Now, thanks to you and I say to all your audience,
we're waiting for you here in the Mexican in the
Mexican Caribbean at the Mayan Riviera.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
I'm Michelle Jerson. We're coming up in a few you're
listening to Passport Mommy. I'm Michelle Jerson. And it's just
been such a pleasure speaking with everybody here at Group
of Lomas. And to end it all is Samantha Frace.
She is the executive vice president.

Speaker 2 (32:41):
And I just have lot. I can't stress so much.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
I have loved speaking with everybody and learning so much,
and I would love to hear from you, as one
of the co owners. What are your core values that
you put into this travel group.

Speaker 9 (32:55):
Well, thank you for having us. It's really an honor
for you to take the time to inter view us
and witness by your own eyes what we do every day.
And when you do things with passion, these are the outcomes.
So I would say that passion it's one of them.
The love for Mexico and also the responsibility that we

(33:17):
have for our staff members. So I would define basically
those two core values that work with us along the
way every single day, and not only we expand them,
we reflect them. To our staff, but we also want
our staff to reflect them into the community.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
And when you reflect them into the community, what do
you get back?

Speaker 9 (33:41):
The personnel improvement from the staff, and then after that
you can have a better community and a better country.
And again, our love for Mexico drives us to do
many many things. We try to lead with the example.
That's something that is very important for us. And we're
also learning all the time, and we're sharing that knowledge

(34:02):
and pushing our staff to learn more. We have had
community centers and also we have provide scholarships for over
two thousand people right now, starting by our guests and
also their children, but also for the rest of the community.
We have a learning center here in side Oh which
I told you about and we spoke, which is my

(34:24):
proudest achievement. It's not what we have built. They're not
the two thousand rooms that we operate and manage, or
the water Parker Nickelodeon. Is this specific building that is
cater and the border tourist staff.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
And that's amazing, it really is, because it does show
that you are investing in not only your employees, but
their children and the next generation. And how amazing This
is so much more than just a tourist destination, and
people should really know that when they come down that yes,
they are getting the tourist experience, but they're getting authentic

(34:59):
Mexico and they could love to know that they are
contributing in their own way to the success of the country.
And all that you're doing for the staff and children.
I think that's amazing, and anybody would be lucky to
work here and for you.

Speaker 9 (35:12):
And it's not just helping them in a little way.
They're impacting their whole life. Yes, they're building dreams, they're
making them realize, they're making Mexican children attend university for
the first time, they're able to buy or their parents
able to why for the first time own home. So
it's it's very nice. So what we try to do

(35:33):
is through our experiences the tourist destination that we manage
and all the related companies, is share the love of
Mexican and also all the culture and all the values
that jump around them. So we're happy. We have tried
to immerse different aspects of the culture in the food

(35:55):
or in the spa as we spoke, and we're having fun.
Not easy all the time, being women and leadership is
it's not always seen as something visible, but it is
because we're part of the team. So we're very happy
to be doing this at the time, and we know
that we have planted the seed and eventually somebody else

(36:17):
will take the lead and we'll be happy to see
our core values keep going generation through generations.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
Absolutely, and I think as a woman who is leading,
you probably set quite an example for those who other
women in the community and their children and they see
it is possible, anything is possible.

Speaker 9 (36:34):
Anything is possible. I mean, we were just a Mexican family.
My mom started by herself and to other people, and
now we have the responsibility of almost six thousand employees
or staff members or dam members. I would say, right,
but we're very proud to say that nothing it's impossible.
But you have to work with a lot of discipline

(36:57):
and ethics, especially ethics make teamwork, and that's that's fundamental.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
And we've heard about Rancho Bonanza and that's thanks to
you and rescuing all of those animals, because.

Speaker 9 (37:10):
We have to really make a difference. If even and
there's a definition that I really enjoyed that it's called
your own square food. What can you do on your
own square food. So yes, I am passionate about animals,
about Mexico and about nature. So we wanted to make
a difference and we have respected a lot of the

(37:33):
space in the plot of land for conservation and also
we have generated a space for rescue horses, retired horses,
and it has been a good experience we have we
have been able to combine a tourist activity with a
rescue center and the outcome is amazing, incredible.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
Well, thank you so much for having us. I'm Michelle Jerson.
Thank you so much for tuning in this week to
