Conosciuto come il “Meglio maestro d’Italia”, a 500 anni dalla sua morte, si è scelto di celebrarlo tramite una grande mostra che a Perugia dal 4 marzo 2023, accoglie visitatori da ogni parte del mondo. Grazie al Direttore della Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria, Marco Pierini e alla storica dell’arte Veruska Picchiarelli - curatori della mostra - e allo storico Franco Cardini, ricostruiamo il percorso biografico e artistico di questo incredibile personaggio che, partendo giovanissimo da un piccolo borgo dell’Umbria, ha conquistato la stima degli altri grandi artisti del suo tempo, ispirando, con il suo talento, centinaia di altri pittori.
