Speaker 9 (04:50):
M m.

Speaker 6 (04:52):
M hmmmmm.

Speaker 9 (05:01):
Doyle, Yes, the man with a lady song.

Speaker 7 (05:06):
It's me.

Speaker 9 (05:06):
It's me, It's the lady. And maybe it's because we
went last year.

Speaker 8 (05:12):
Maybe it's because last year it was just a better show,
I think, But last year WrestleMania.

Speaker 9 (05:17):
Felt like it lingered in the air for a while.

Speaker 8 (05:20):
After the fact, and this year I feel like I've
already moved off.

Speaker 6 (05:26):
All those factors.

Speaker 7 (05:28):
Absolutely.

Speaker 11 (05:30):
Yeah, it definitely doesn't feel like last year it felt lackluster,
like we're missing something, like it felt like this was
all for the money. This year, we didn't get the
WrestleMania I feel like we wanted and you know what
now that you know, I'm just gonna run it over

(05:50):
real quick. But I actually saw that there was a
a viral picture from the new show ww Unreal on Netflix.
The show originally planned it shows in the background matches
for WrestleMania forty one, and at the time was a
World typeweight Championship CM Punk versus Seth Rollins versus Gunther

(06:11):
So we had triple threat for the world title. How
we would have gotten there, don't know. Women's World Championship
Riha versus Bianca bell Air. I would have loved that,
just one on one w W Women's Championship, Jay Cargill
versus Nia Jacks. We would have had the Wyatt six
versus Judgment Day. We would have had the women's tags

(06:34):
Charlotte and Becky Lynch versus Eo Sky and Oscar bad
Bunny versus Dominic Mysterio and bron Breaker versus Drew McIntyre
were some of the matchups that they had. Now, to me,
that sounds like a prett damn good WrestleMania.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
Some of it I like. Some of it.

Speaker 6 (06:57):
I don't care for a like Charlotte and versus EO
and Oscar I could, I wouldn't care for that match.

Speaker 9 (07:08):
It just seems like, especially not when we got instead.

Speaker 6 (07:14):
Right, I damn sure wouldn't take that over what we
wound up getting now, Ria versus Bianca one on one.
I think we've discussed that. Well, we'll get into that
obviously when we talk about.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
What we did get.

Speaker 6 (07:28):
Yeah, yeah, yes, But Jay Cargo versus Naya Jackson for
the WWE Women's Championship, that feels like a bit of
a reach. I mean, I would have loved to see Naya,
you know, defend the title WrestleMania.

Speaker 5 (07:41):
That would have been a nice you know, feather in
her cap.

Speaker 6 (07:44):
Yeah, but I assume that if they were going to
book that match, then the plan would have been to
put the title on Jade Cargill.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
And that seems a bit early.

Speaker 9 (07:55):
M M.

Speaker 7 (07:58):
Yeah, I think so too.

Speaker 11 (08:02):
Also, I kind of I think, uh, the White Six
of its judgment day would have been pretty decent. I
don't know how they would have gotten into that either,
but I guess setbacks with injuries and and whatnot.

Speaker 6 (08:15):
I guess I guess we never get would have got there.
They would have been cutting a promo, lights would have
went black, is it would have started playing Six would
have shown up matchup wrestle media and I.

Speaker 7 (08:28):
Gotta make everything so damn predictable. That's true, but it's
not fair. Uh yeah, let's let's get into night too.

Speaker 11 (08:41):
I'm glad, you know what. I also want to say that, like,
I'm kind of glad we got the little break in between.
Normally we tried doing back to back and a lot,
you know, for people don't know. We we cover a
lot of wrestling just watching in general. So at the
end of it, it's very exhausting as sometimes we just
need a little bit of a buffer or break, you know.

(09:02):
So you're lucky you got that episode so quickly, because
that was pretty fast. Uh but uh, yeah, I'm glad
we got the buffer.

Speaker 7 (09:10):
People had time to listen to it and get back
to me on some things. But yeah, Drake takeover.

Speaker 6 (09:19):
All right, yep. Night two WrestleMania with a alleged attendance
of sixty thousand, three hundred and forty three strong emphasis
on the word alleged tensoun. Oh that must be the
bottom line, man, But this match helpe me not matched.

(09:40):
Night two started off with what was probably the best
match of the night and Triple Thread for the Women's
World title Eo Sky the champion defending against Bianca Bellair
and rear Ripley. And like I said, this was probably
the best match of the night.

Speaker 8 (09:57):
Women's match and women and WWE Women's it's up there.

Speaker 9 (10:02):
I mean it's in the conversation.

Speaker 6 (10:04):
It's definitely up there. This yeah, yeah, yeah, because this
match cooked from the jump, like immediately it cooked. They
just started going at it off top and they never
let up for the entire match. They gave us so

(10:24):
many moves, counter moves, combo moves, near falls from start
to finish, like very I don't I can't think off
the top of my head of any noteworthy botches or
anything that stood out like this match was a banger,
an absolute banger, and you could have legitimately made an

(10:45):
argument for any one of the three winning at any point,
like they legit all had legit finishers that you thought, well,
here it could's that's the finish, here's the three count,
just for somebody to kick out it too. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (11:01):
I mean that's the ark of a great match right there,
right when you when you believe that every well usually both,
but in a multi person match, when there's moments where
you believe any one of them may do it and
you're biting on those fights, those false finishes.

Speaker 6 (11:14):
You know exactly exactly, But ultimately it was eoskuy who
pulled out the win after what didn't Bianca hit a
ko D? Bianca hit a ko D on rear and
then eos guy hit over the moon salt on Bianca.

Speaker 5 (11:32):
Yeah, that's how she got the pick.

Speaker 7 (11:33):
She capitalized on it.

Speaker 11 (11:35):
Yeah, yeah, which is great in matches, you know. I
mean that that's how mostly a triple threat match, you know,
kind of ends. It's just somebody capitalizes on a moment.
But it's how it's you know done, How it's how
that third act is finished and how we we put
it together. And they did it great, you know. Dre

(11:55):
like going into this like I'm thinking, like, okay, Bianca
is like under feeded in like at WrestleMania, not not
including a battle was a Battle World.

Speaker 7 (12:04):
But like she's what like four O or something like that.

Speaker 11 (12:10):
So like, you know, I'm thinking in my head, like,
you know, she's got this far, she's building momentum. They're
talking about it, like are we really gonna give her
the l here? And then Rea it just being the
unstoppable forre she's been the past year and a half,
you know, and we're finally seeing these two superstars finally collide.
But you know, and then you have EO, who's been

(12:31):
just absolutely a blast since.

Speaker 7 (12:34):
Since she's been on the main roster in the past
few years. I love her. Every time she's at work
in a War Games match, uh, you know, LEO always
has uh some of the best spots in some of
these these multi multi women matches, you know, some of
these high spots.

Speaker 9 (12:51):
Uh.

Speaker 11 (12:51):
You know, she's a lot smaller, so they used her
as a weapon. I've seen a couple of times, like
you know, Bianca's just picking up EO and hit her
with Rio or hitting real with her, you know, And
especially in the past few weeks, that kind of made
it seem that EO was being kind of ignored in
her own title Feld, you know, and you know she

(13:14):
had enough of it, and you know, I was like,
she has to come out on.

Speaker 7 (13:18):
Top, right, I mean we talked about this last episode.

Speaker 8 (13:21):
Yeah, well the whole match kind of existed to level
EO up.

Speaker 9 (13:25):
It does, right, exactly what it did.

Speaker 7 (13:27):
Absolutely.

Speaker 8 (13:29):
Oh, it's just that that's exactly what it did, and
that was kind of the whole point of the match,
and that's exactly what it accomplished. You know, uh, Rhea
and Bianca have been super women for the last several years,
and eventually you need other people to be up on
that same level. Also, you know, you can have you
known people bounce in and out of the main event, well.

Speaker 5 (13:50):
You know what have you.

Speaker 8 (13:51):
But it definitely needed to even though she's been champion before,
uh needed to level up EO.

Speaker 9 (13:57):
And I think they definitely mission accomplished on that one.

Speaker 5 (14:00):
Absolutely.

Speaker 6 (14:01):
I mean this legitimizes her as top of the car champion.
Like the first title run, it was a good run.
She had a nice lengthy run actually because she held
it from was it like, wasn't it like SummerSlam to
WrestleMania or shortly after? Yes, yeah, she lost the Bailey WrestleMania.
I mean when she won it. She won it by

(14:22):
cashing in the money in the bank briefcase, and I
think that was at SummerSlam on Bianca right after Bianka
had the Was it was that a triple threat match
she had at Summer Slam twenty twenty three. I can't.

Speaker 5 (14:40):
I want to say if it was a triple.

Speaker 9 (14:43):
Way too.

Speaker 7 (14:44):
I remember the cashing though.

Speaker 6 (14:46):
I remember, yeah, yeah, because Eo cashed in after the
match because Bioka had successfully defended the title, and then I.

Speaker 11 (14:57):
Thought she achieved it. She got the title and then
lost it right away. That's what I thought happened, right
We're thinking too hard back here anyway.

Speaker 6 (15:11):
Either way, the point is Eo had a good, lengthy
run that first time, but it didn't really do a
whole lot for her, like I guess people had hoped,
because one she had the matches, but every she was
still with Damage Control at the time and they were
helping her retain the title a lot. And then when
she finally kind of really had to stand on her

(15:31):
own in a match, she wound up losing the Bailey
mm hmm, despite the fact that she had good matches.
But this one right here, when you're going over the
two top women on the roster and beating them in
a match, and and doing it with the crowd behind
you the entire time. Not only does it get her
super over right now, and like I said, it establishes

(15:53):
her as a legitimate champion mm hmm, and like she's
not in the you know, placeholder status right.

Speaker 9 (16:00):
Now like from you know the plus player.

Speaker 5 (16:05):
Exactly.

Speaker 6 (16:06):
My one ripe with this match, though, my one right
with it, despite how good it was, is I don't
like that Beyonca took the pin.

Speaker 5 (16:16):
That that's my one guy.

Speaker 6 (16:17):
I'm not saying that Ria should have picked the pit
took the pin again. My pitch would have been, EO,
get the pin over both of them, like stack them
up and sham stack them up, hit the over the moon,
over the moon salt and get the pin on both
of them. That way, she really would have had the
legitimate killing. Like, no, I didn't just beat one of y'all,
I beat both of you, and it would have really

(16:38):
been no doubt, no questions left. But more so my
gripe is with the fact that they made Beyonca take
the pen more so than than anything, because I've maintained
my position that Bianca was legit had the most legitimate
gripe the entire time with Rhea being inserted in this match,

(17:00):
even though we know they did it for the fans
and because it's obviously as popular as real is right now,
despite everything, which is a separate issue with and of itself.
But you also get into her streak for no real reason.

(17:20):
I mean that seemed a bit premature for me, just
as that was becoming a thing, and it also.

Speaker 7 (17:37):
Wrong j taylors your feelings, Like.

Speaker 6 (17:44):
I didn't like the fact that Bianca took the l byers. Like,
granted Eel has wins over both of them, somebody didn't
have to lose. I just would have preferred it be
her stack to both of them get the win over
both of them. Like it really is in the position
right now where a loss doesn't hurt her at all.

(18:05):
Like if she'd have been pinned by EO at WrestleMania,
she would get the exact same pop she's still getting
at this point. She wouldn't fall down the car, she
wouldn't lose her status Bianca a little bit. Right now,
she's still one of the top women wrestlers on the roster,
but she's been at a bit. You could argue she's
been in a bit of a downward trend for at

(18:27):
least a year from when she's from you know, last year,
locked into the tag division and then in and out
of that, almost to the points where some people were
trying to stupidly, in my opinion, trying to see Bianca's
a mid carter now because she's in the tag division,

(18:48):
which was dumb. But she's been in that for the
last in and out last year exactly like nobody can
stay in the main event picture.

Speaker 9 (18:56):
For her, that sounds that's a great use of it,
I think right, and.

Speaker 6 (19:00):
I agree, like nobody can stay in the main event
picture forever. But she's been in that tag division in
and out. I don't know that they had it. They
had maybe in the whole year, in one or two
peel the matches in that whole year, and then she
went from that to getting back into the title picture
with the win at elimination Chamber just to take the pin.

(19:22):
Now fans are getting, I guess, tired of her character.

Speaker 8 (19:29):
Well, I think I, like I said in the discord,
at the end of the day, I think they're going
to do Bioncorea in some slam and I assume that
is going to play the heel, which will be an
interest in dynamic.

Speaker 9 (19:41):
I'm kind of looking forward to that. I know you
get upset when she gets booed, and so do I,
but uh I kind of I'm interested to see what
she does.

Speaker 8 (19:50):
As a straight up peal because you know, we have
I guess she wasn't healing n x TA, but we
really haven't seen it on the main roster. Uh So
I'm interested to see some versatility out of her because
that's like one thing she hasn't really done yet.

Speaker 6 (20:04):
Well, my issue isn't so much with Bianka getting booed.
I have no problem with her or any character getting
booed when it makes sense to boo them. Bianca, I
feel like, at least right now, it doesn't make it
because she's.

Speaker 7 (20:19):
Not or it's the thing.

Speaker 11 (20:21):
It's like somebody in that feud's got to get booed, right,
you know, somebody that somebody No, But that's how the
w w A universe takes it, because there's gotta be
a bad guy, right like we oh.

Speaker 7 (20:32):
There does it doesn't we don't.

Speaker 6 (20:36):
Right now, the fans are doing whatever the hell they
want to regulate is a clear heel right now. They
cheered her on Monday, Seth Rollins clear heel right now,
they cheered him on Monday, right And it feels like
right now the fans are more in a we're gonna

(20:57):
do what we want phase with just because And I'm
not saying that fans always have to follow, And I'm
damnsere not saying that the fans have to follow the
storyline at w W gets them and you know, these
are the clear define good guys, you cheer them, these
are the clear define bad guys, and you boo them.
I'm not saying that either. But if somebody is clearly

(21:19):
doing something heelish and you're choosing like now, we like
them anyway, we're gonna cheer it, or somebody has legitimate,
a legitimate gripe and you're just like, nah, screw you,
boo you. That's what I take issues to it, cause
it's like, Okay, it's one thing if you're if this was,
like like I said, you're getting bored with the person

(21:41):
or the character. I didn't feel like that was necessarily
the case with Beyond. With Bianca, they was cheering her
like crazy when she was in the tag team with Jade.
They cheered her after uh she won an elimination chamber.

Speaker 5 (21:54):
It just seemed like here came Ria and they was like,
oh Rie's.

Speaker 6 (21:58):
A back involved, Well, screw you, Benca, even though she had,
like I said, the legitimate gripe, and Ria was doing
the things that would by any other person be seen
as heelish, like flip the table or or flip the cards.
Imagine if Bianca had done the exact same thing that

(22:19):
Ria did going into wrestle media, like flip them. I say,
Bianca was the champion and she had lost the ill
because she got distracted by Riha, and then she showed
up and inserted herself and just threw her name on
the contract. They be booing Bianca like she was dominant
my stereo.

Speaker 9 (22:38):
Who's getting cheered down? Huh who's getting cheered down?

Speaker 6 (22:45):
Yes, saying no, yeah, I think he's still he's still
he's still very much doing heelship, but he still gets
some booze though, even though they popped like crazy for
him at wrestle Media. But like I said, if Bianca
would have done the exact same thing that Ria was
doing and going in the wrestlemedia, they had a boot
delivering shit out of it, Biaka. But because Rio was
doing it, we're gonna scheer it. That I take issue with.

(23:06):
That's where that's where I take issue with the fans.

Speaker 9 (23:09):
What a.

Speaker 11 (23:11):
What a lengthy like first match to like fourteen minutes
twenty five seconds that's and a hell of a fucking
match to open the show, you know what I mean?

Speaker 7 (23:20):
That was awesome. I I really enjoyed that match definitely.

Speaker 9 (23:26):
Uh.

Speaker 11 (23:27):
You know what though, like for us last year, like
going into WrestleMania Night two, I was pretty exhausted already,
but I was still hyped. I was like tired, but
I was like my body was tired, but I was.

Speaker 7 (23:40):
Still like hyped. I wasn't like mentally drained or anything.
I don't know how you guys felt I was.

Speaker 11 (23:45):
I mean this crowd, I don't know how many they
said was in this current crowdy? Do you guys have
maybe have a number, but I think it might have
been like sixty allegedly.

Speaker 7 (23:59):
Yeah, like it's there's a last of celebrities there.

Speaker 11 (24:05):
Flavor. Flavor was there, guys. I I don't think he
was on our card.

Speaker 7 (24:11):
For guys that might be there.

Speaker 8 (24:15):
The only people, the only people who I knew were
Flavor Flavor, Rick Rubin, everybody else's like who to see.

Speaker 7 (24:23):
How they had like the VIP section up up near
the ramps, like the.

Speaker 6 (24:29):
Yeah, yeah that was pretty cool.

Speaker 9 (24:31):
Those were like sponsorship giveaways.

Speaker 6 (24:34):
Yeah, talk about the ones who were above the entrance
way on the ramp or something.

Speaker 11 (24:39):
Yeah, speaking of fucking sponsorship, talk about like six logos.

Speaker 7 (24:46):
I was looking at a photo that was showing, like,
you know, the WrestleMania back when Vince was still running it,
and there's nothing, and then you had Prime last year,
and now you have about six logos.

Speaker 11 (24:58):
It's like, oh my god, Like where does it end?
And I remember when the multiple logos started.

Speaker 7 (25:05):
It was at War Games because that's when they had
two rings and they were able to double down on
the sponsorship and then that was it. Now we see
it all the time.

Speaker 6 (25:16):
Yeah, But I will say this, it's what it is
an annoying. It's annoying if you pay attention to it.
But realistically, if most of the show were you really
looking at the logos, No, you were looking at the
action in the ring or whatever camera angles that they

(25:37):
were giving you. It's really one of those things that
you're only aware of it if you're looking for it
or somebody points it out right.

Speaker 11 (25:46):
But how do you guys feel about SmackDown having just
the plain old blue ring the apron? Do you guys
think you guys like the cool blue ring?

Speaker 6 (25:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (25:56):
I think it's cool.

Speaker 9 (25:57):
I like the differential, like the the shows have different looks.

Speaker 5 (26:01):
Again, yeah, exactly, kind of like that.

Speaker 7 (26:05):
Like that.

Speaker 9 (26:06):
I like black ring on Raw though very much.

Speaker 8 (26:08):
It's kind of gross like it because it gets real dirty,
real fast.

Speaker 6 (26:13):
I thought I only used that, you know what. I
hadn't even noticed that they used a black ring all Raw.
I thought that it was only for specific segments. I
hadn't paid that much. Again, goes the show. I ain't
paying attention to the ring, Max, I had to noticed
it was black.

Speaker 7 (26:27):
Yeah cool. I'm ready to move on to the next match.

Speaker 6 (26:32):
Yeah. The next match was the sin City Street Fight
between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest, which was an okay match.
It was honestly fairly paid by numbers, just two big
dudes hitting all their power moves and brutality moves on
him with which winds up with Drew McIntyre coming out

(26:56):
with the when after hitting a claymore against Damien Priest's
head against the chair in the corner. Again, not much
to say about this match. It wasn't bad by any means,
but there was nothing special about it either. It was yeah,
one of the mill Street fight. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (27:15):
For me, it was more of what it wasn't than
what it was. It was fine, it was serviceable. Whatever
Drew should have gone over, he did go over. I
think he's in line for a fucking big year. But uh,
I was hoping for something more like the back lot
Hollywood brawl or whatever that Roddy Piper and gold Dust Tad.

Speaker 7 (27:38):
Oh dude, I love that it.

Speaker 9 (27:41):
Over something like that.

Speaker 8 (27:42):
Like I kind of was hoping they'd be fighting in
a casino, like, you know what, even even if it's
not necessarily all in front of the live crowd, you know,
Like I thought it would be more fun like that
kind of you know, So.

Speaker 9 (27:55):
I was disappointed.

Speaker 8 (27:56):
It was one of those situations where I said, my
sakes too high and it couldn't possibly be lived up to.

Speaker 9 (28:04):
Uh. But uh, yeah it was.

Speaker 8 (28:06):
It was a fine match, certainly, but I just it
could have been so much more, I feel like.

Speaker 6 (28:11):
And I agree. I don't know if it's the logistics
behind it that makes it that prevents them from trying
to pull that stuff off, or if they wanted this
to feel like a more serious match, which is why
they kept it in and around the ring as opposed
to going through the casino or the streets or something
like that. But yeah, I agree with you. They they
could have been a little bit more creative.

Speaker 9 (28:32):
Yeah, or something. I don't know, I think they. I
just felt like they could have had so much more
fun with this than it did.

Speaker 8 (28:39):
Yeah, and this is largely at WrestleMania that was kind
of devoid of fun outside of the.

Speaker 9 (28:47):
El Gringo.

Speaker 6 (28:49):
They could have fall above the entrance way, those fans
that were paying for those I guess those were premium
seats or whatever. Above the rampway.

Speaker 8 (28:57):
Oh no, those are all like sponsorship people like so
you know, Uh, they made prime executives and expended the
executives and.

Speaker 6 (29:07):
They could have falled around them.

Speaker 9 (29:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (29:12):
But something, Yeah, I would saying kind of gone off
campus a little more.

Speaker 9 (29:19):
Yeah, that makes sense.

Speaker 11 (29:21):
DNA, you guys play Doom the Dark Age is That's
what I guess Drue McEntyre was cosplaying as he.

Speaker 9 (29:27):
Looked pissed off. I'll tell you that he did not.

Speaker 7 (29:31):
Maybe he didn't want to wear. He did look like
he was struggling to get in the ring. Yeah, he
looks uncomfortable.

Speaker 9 (29:39):
I know what the hell it was.

Speaker 7 (29:41):
Yeah, maybe he just was like, I can't believe I
got to wear this ship because of our sponsor.

Speaker 6 (29:45):
You know.

Speaker 11 (29:45):
Yeah, I mean I'm assuming I don't. I wouldn't, you know,
somebody had to probably wear.

Speaker 7 (29:51):
It's like one of your wrestlers has to wear a
cosplay of like this video game.

Speaker 6 (29:56):
Right, maybe we'll find out in WWE Uncut or whatever
the hell that show.

Speaker 7 (30:00):
Is going to be called unreal or whatever something basically
where k Fave is absolutely.

Speaker 6 (30:08):
Dead KA died with social media, doll.

Speaker 11 (30:13):
I gotta agree with you, man, Like I was not
maybe so much like going all into like different locations,
Like I agree with the stage, but like how many
like matches on like SmackDown. Did we have of like
a Christmas Eve brawl where they would set up like
Christmas presents everywhere?

Speaker 7 (30:30):
Ye?

Speaker 9 (30:31):
Like, you know they had.

Speaker 11 (30:36):
What was Seamus's group of guys what were they called
the I can't remember, Yeah, there were they had some sort.

Speaker 8 (30:44):
Of I think we have old fashioned Donny Brook matches.

Speaker 7 (30:48):
Yeah, Like they were so quick to bring out gimme
the ship.

Speaker 9 (30:52):
Remember the Viking Raiders had the Viking match when.

Speaker 6 (30:54):
They had yeah, when they had the little half ship
on the rink. Yeah, like, and that was a match
that we thought was gonna be stupid as hell. When
I saw that they wound up cooking.

Speaker 7 (31:06):
Yeah, I mean, it's it's crazy.

Speaker 11 (31:08):
I thought, you know, with all the gimmicky kind of ship,
maybe they would have had maybe like a slot machine
they would have rolled down there, or you know what.

Speaker 8 (31:16):
I mean, like have some sort of Las Vegas type
like you could have done some gimmick where like he
stuck his head in the machine and then get the jack.

Speaker 7 (31:24):
But yeah yeah, or like yeah he has there's like
a poker table and chips go flying everywhere, like you.

Speaker 11 (31:32):
Know, absolutely Doyle, Like I'm with you all the way. Yeah,
so yeah, Doyle did. Drew didn't look too happy with
his interest. You know, he got the cool flames and whatnot.
You know, Damian Priest got the got a live band
playing for him.

Speaker 7 (31:47):
He's got the uh the by Curious Vampire outfit going.

Speaker 8 (31:51):
And you know, I can't believe that two guys had
live music and and it was like things both things.

Speaker 9 (31:58):
I was actively like a fan. It's usually like who
the fuck is that?

Speaker 7 (32:04):
I know, Yeah, it's uh, I really like it. I
mean then when the wrestlers get their music played live,
I mean it's not every day somebody has the opportunity
to have that done. But I mean we had it
last year. I think we Hadria get played in last year.

Speaker 6 (32:19):
Yeah, she got played in by the people who actually
recorded her.

Speaker 7 (32:21):
So yeah, and I guess you can kind of say
Roman reigns.

Speaker 8 (32:25):
Right with the first Nackamara a couple of years ago
as but.

Speaker 7 (32:32):
But yeah, instead Doyle, we got, uh, we got the
steel steps, which there was a lot of brutality done
with the steel steps. Uh.

Speaker 11 (32:42):
You know, a lot of the moves that Drew was doing,
it looked like he was just hurting himself more than
he was hurting Damien.

Speaker 7 (32:47):
Uh, because you know some of those suplexes and ship
he was going on the steps like oh god, man,
like my bag Hers is watching you do it, like you're.

Speaker 9 (32:57):
Hitting the steps. The guy's not even really touching them. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (33:00):
Yeah, you know, we got we got our we got
ourselves some tables, you know, I did, I did like
the kind of big spot at the end with you know,
Damien storing the old school taker, you know, walking on
the ropes, which I I haven't seen done in a bit,
which was nice to kind of revisit. But as soon

(33:20):
as he fucking did it, as soon as he did,
I go push them, push them, push and push him
right away, dude, just like just you know, yeah right,
he just let his intrusive thoughts to take over and
he just right through anyone through cleaning. I went through nice. Uh.

Speaker 11 (33:37):
And then he finished with that that claim war with
that chair in the in the corner.

Speaker 7 (33:42):
They did it so fast and it was so loud
that did. I think they did a pretty good spot
with that. And you know, I don't I don't know
where Damien goes with this loss now, you know, like
the man's lost his world title, he's lost Judgment Day,
he's lost his rematches, he's lost his WrestleMania match against.

Speaker 5 (33:58):
Drew the question.

Speaker 6 (34:00):
And that's the reason why I said he needed to
win this match, because now that very question is there.

Speaker 5 (34:06):
I don't know where Damien goes from here.

Speaker 6 (34:09):
Honestly, I think I think Drew claymore than back to
the mid card.

Speaker 7 (34:12):
Oh well, yes, unfortunately.

Speaker 11 (34:14):
But do you know who be the good person to
go after that intercontinental title?

Speaker 7 (34:21):
Maybe a former enemy Damien. There you go.

Speaker 6 (34:26):
Yeah, back to the mid car for a former world champion,
which is unfortunate because again I like Damian Priest. I
think he's probably going to until he gets some momentum
more of the fans behind him again.

Speaker 5 (34:37):
He's gonna be.

Speaker 6 (34:39):
Like what Bobby Lashley was before he left WWE. He's
gonna be that person that they every time they need
a tournament or something, he's gonna be in that match
because he's a name and he's a former champion, and
they're gonna say that ad nauseam.

Speaker 5 (34:55):
He's a former champion, He's got all this, He's got
a shot.

Speaker 6 (34:58):
No, he doesn't. He's gonna be in those matches or
in those tournaments that he'll never win until again, I said,
at some point he either gets some momentum behind him
or the fans get behind him again, or something like
that that push him back up to being a champion. Yeah,

(35:18):
he might see it. He may see an IC title
win here or there, But.

Speaker 5 (35:26):
I just don't.

Speaker 6 (35:27):
I don't know that Damien can get back into the
world title pitcher anytime soon.

Speaker 8 (35:32):
I could see I mean it's not maybe as soon
as this next next go round, but I could see
him as a rumble winner or an elimination chamber winner.

Speaker 9 (35:42):
Uh, one of these.

Speaker 6 (35:44):
Days, exactly one of these days. You're not even saying
that with confidence.

Speaker 8 (35:53):
I don't know that it would be impossible or even
really that hard.

Speaker 9 (35:58):
To get him back in the middle of picture. Apparently,
you know, just give him a couple of big wins
over people and then bangs right back there. So I
don't know. I don't know his future. I don't know.

Speaker 8 (36:11):
I like the idea of him going after Don but
dom I feel like God would have to beat.

Speaker 9 (36:15):
Him right, so that doesn't help him very much.

Speaker 6 (36:19):
Right, Like I said, I'm not saying his career is
over by any means. I just without the momentum behind him,
and it's not. And I don't think it's just I
don't think they can just book him back into a championship.

Speaker 5 (36:32):
I don't think. I don't think they're gonna.

Speaker 6 (36:34):
I don't see them pulling that unless there's some sort
of momentum behind him and some sort of like his
pops aren't through the roof. He gets cheers, but he
doesn't get pops through the roof. There's really nothing behind
him right now to give creative, I think, motivation to
put a belt on him. They'll put him in contention

(36:57):
because he's a because he's popular with the fans, so
he'll be a contention.

Speaker 8 (37:02):
He just have his buddy Bad Bunny come back, get
involved in the story.

Speaker 6 (37:09):
Yeah said, And like, like you mentioned, if he was
to be put up against Dom right now, they would
probably book Dom to win because Dom has the momentum.

Speaker 9 (37:18):
Yeah, he just got the titles, all.

Speaker 5 (37:21):
Right, he just got he just got the belt.

Speaker 8 (37:23):
I wanted to see him have some have a I
mean not as long as but I want him to
have like a Honkey talk Man esque run where he's
just fluking victory's left and right, like.

Speaker 7 (37:34):
He just wiggles his way out of fucking pins and ship. Yeah, yeah,
that would be funny, funny.

Speaker 6 (37:45):
So well, speaking of Dom, that leads us to the
next match, which was Dominic was bron breaker out of
the Continental Champion defending in a fatal four way against
Finn Balor Penza and Dominique Mysterio himself, which I guess this. Yeah,

(38:07):
this was probably the one shock of the night, I've
really the whole papel which in the form of Dominic
Mysterio winning. I don't know did any of us call
for that in the pre show? I did, I thought
I thought we did. I don't know if I did

(38:27):
or not.

Speaker 11 (38:28):
But yeah, we brought up we were thinking like not
I think mean Doyle were discussing like not if he.

Speaker 7 (38:33):
Pins you know, Braun or Penta, it's if he pins Finn,
and he fucking went down exactly like that, you know,
And what a great way to protect Braun, you know
from it.

Speaker 11 (38:46):
What a great like show for Penta for his first WrestleMania. Uh,
you know, I'm liking the sky and more and more
every week. But yeah, and and the the drama it could.

Speaker 7 (39:00):
Cause or will cause.

Speaker 11 (39:03):
They say it's not causing, but I called blasphemy. I
think something is a cooking. You took that l at wrestlming.
You're just gonna be cool about it, but.

Speaker 7 (39:12):
I did, like, you know, in the middle of the match,
they were working.

Speaker 11 (39:15):
Together and uh forbid, and then dom Te's like he
was gonna go after Finn, and then the crowd kind
of wrapped up for it, you know, and then you
know when he finally did turn. The crowd loved it,
you know, they finally I mean, you know it's a.

Speaker 6 (39:29):
Match and caught him.

Speaker 7 (39:34):
I know the grounds for that they're getting.

Speaker 6 (39:37):
I think that was fun when he turned and went
for that ship. Finn called him and then stomped his
ass out for it.

Speaker 7 (39:42):
And Doyle, you brought up last episode.

Speaker 11 (39:46):
Everybody's got to have a mask now, right, everybody's.

Speaker 8 (39:50):
Everybody come out with a mask and immediately take it off,
exactly like Finn.

Speaker 7 (39:54):
Finn, I don't even had him. It looked like he
just had like a bag over.

Speaker 9 (39:57):
His head head. Yeah, and then that was funny. Yeah
you could get it.

Speaker 7 (40:03):
Off because I thought the mask pretty cool. But then yeah,
he couldn't get it off his his gip massing he
borrowed from carrying cross he could, he couldn't get off
his head.

Speaker 8 (40:13):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I thought bron Breaker had no shot.

Speaker 9 (40:22):
I thought the other guy other three did.

Speaker 8 (40:25):
Uh uh, And boy was I right about bron Breaker
getting leveled up because the next night raw.

Speaker 9 (40:34):
But uh yeah, I mean dom, I don't think they.

Speaker 8 (40:38):
Expected the face pop he got for that, uh, because
he kind of celebrated and then he kind of went
he was halfway up the ramp.

Speaker 9 (40:45):
And one of the one of the things.

Speaker 8 (40:47):
I really like about social media is when you get
to see the alternate angles and stuff, because because there's
an alternate angle with the camera guys in the picture
and the camera guys like.

Speaker 9 (40:57):
Go back in the ringing idiot like Don goes back
and like soaks it up even more.

Speaker 8 (41:03):
Uh yeah, I mean I obviously that Donald was planning
to win. I don't think he was planning to be
as over as he was, So I think that was
kind of a fun surprised to see kind of play
out live.

Speaker 9 (41:15):
Yeah, Yeah, what a fun match.

Speaker 6 (41:19):
Yeah, it's definitely it was a fun match and like
a great moment of seeing the fans absolutely just pop
huge for Dominic Mysterio. It'll be interesting to see where
they go with this because obviously they've been teasing for
the longest time a Judgment Day break up. It's just
a matter of when they decide to finally pull the
trigger on it. And Dominic Mystereo, despite the huge face

(41:43):
pop he's gotten, it's still one hundred acting like a heel. Yeah,
being completely arrogant as fuck about it and talking shit
he was There was a video clip of him trolling
Scott Steiner backstage with.

Speaker 7 (41:59):
That was fucking oh my god to see him.

Speaker 6 (42:04):
And then yeah, and then he was in like the
post show. They interviewed him in the post show, and
he was completely already proclaiming himself the greatest and the
continental champion of all time or the greatest champion of
all time. So he's completely healing it up, and the
fans are responding in kind to him healing it up
by still booing him after initially cheering for him when
his music hit. So he still knows how to absolutely

(42:28):
be a heal if they decide to keep him that way,
But if they want to pull the trigger and switch
him over to be a babyface again, he can go
either way at this point, and I'm pretty sure they're
probably whenever they do pull the trigger on this Judgment
Day breakup, he'll probably fall on the babyface side because
Finn Balach just has no support behind him, like nobody's

(42:53):
cheering for him and JD McDonough or any of that.
So and Finz probably does better work as a heal
any damn.

Speaker 7 (43:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (43:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (43:06):
The only the only good thing about fit in his
baby face.

Speaker 8 (43:08):
He had that really fun entrance but they sind change
his music several times.

Speaker 7 (43:13):
Yeah, I just like that.

Speaker 8 (43:16):
Maybe they maybe they do that thing when they go
back to the old music if he turned it. But
I I think if anybody's gonna turn, it's gonna be
don baby Face, which I didn't think they'd ever been
able to do without uh involving Ray, you know, some
kind of reconciliation with Ray mysteriouh, So that'll be interesting
to see.

Speaker 9 (43:38):
Yeah, cool, Oh we're gonna run in.

Speaker 6 (43:43):
I'm here what this guy or what we were talking about?

Speaker 2 (43:53):
Yeah, man, you were quite the same episode Dominique just
coming in here. You know, like I always said, when
Dominique came in, like they try to push him as
a baby face. It wasn't working. Everyone's used to the
history of Dominic Mysterial kind of secretly being written as
Eddie Guerrero's son, and that's pretty much how the audience

(44:16):
wanted to expect him like all this, like you know,
smart marks and have been following the product from like
you know, I guess in the eighties, nineties, two thousands, whatever,
So it was just natural for them to go in
that progression. He had to separate himself from his dad.
And they had to go that way. He had to
do some time, He had to catch a little bit

(44:37):
of sugar from down under. And here we are thirty dom,
a man.

Speaker 7 (44:43):
Who could turn heel and then turn heel on being here.

Speaker 2 (44:47):
For hell, god fucking love it only to be so
heel that everybody loves him.

Speaker 11 (44:53):
Now I know, now he's reached that point like that needle,
you know, like that that heel faced needles all the
way down is basically it's it's going full circle, like
he's coming back as a face.

Speaker 7 (45:05):
Not that the wrestlers can do.

Speaker 5 (45:06):
That, Damn.

Speaker 6 (45:09):
I can see him being one of the people that
fans boo out of love like that, like in a
weird twist where like he completely acts like a dick
and fans boo the hell out of him during all
his promos, but the second the bell rings there behind.

Speaker 2 (45:28):
Him, so kind of like m j F like he's
ours comeback type of thing, Ours come bag. He's thirty dime.
He's a dirty, you know, douche bag, but he's our douchebag.

Speaker 6 (45:42):
Right like people like fans are bulling them, booing him
with smiles on their faces. Yeah, kick that guy's ass forst.

Speaker 9 (45:51):
Doll really effective heal.

Speaker 8 (45:53):
You'll you'll hate him, and then you'll start to love
to hate him, and then you'll just love him.

Speaker 9 (45:58):
That's the that's the cycle of a really good hell.

Speaker 8 (46:00):
And it's hard to keep people here, keep them like
hard to be popular and the heel at the same time,
you know.

Speaker 6 (46:08):
Right, it happens hypothetically speak right, just just hypothetically speaking
right now, Dominic Mysterio and John Cena and the ring,
who are the fans cheering.

Speaker 5 (46:21):
Right now?

Speaker 2 (46:22):
Like if you have seen them, I would see I
would say dirty.

Speaker 5 (46:26):
Don I think I'm with you, Carl.

Speaker 6 (46:29):
I think the fans would cheer for Dom to kick
seen his ass experiment like seeing obviously seen them would
rip him the shreds on the mic, and I think
that would make the fans be like, yo, fuck him up, Dom,
fuck him up. And if Dom just swung on scene
that the fans would just pop huge if he just

(46:51):
started going to town and just beating seen his ass? Yeah,
like if they if they, if they want to test
the water, like you know what. That's why I can't
be in creative because I booked that fucking match. I've
booked that match in a heartbeat, just to test the wars.
Just a spontaneous Monday night raw match. Let's seem to

(47:13):
be running people down the shit you think it's gonna
be ording of somebody going out there. Nah, fucking Dominic
Mysterio come out there and interrupt John Cena talk shit
about how he's the best champion on n WWE right
now with the IC unless I'll see to be like
you want to talk shit, kid, put your money where
your mouth is. Me and you one on one, no

(47:35):
belts on the line, just to see who's the better champion.

Speaker 5 (47:38):
Let that ship made a bit raw. See what the
fans do.

Speaker 6 (47:41):
I've bet the fans would go ape shit for fucking
Dominic Mysterio Champion versus champion, no title on the line,
John Cena versus Dominant Mysterio.

Speaker 5 (47:53):
Make it happen.

Speaker 6 (47:55):
That would be fun, And that's what's missing WWE right now.
Random spontaneous fun.

Speaker 11 (48:05):
But we get it in this next match, and I
have a SoundBite for it, but you lead me in.

Speaker 6 (48:16):
Well, next, what was Randy Orton coming to the ring
because he ain't had shit else to do on WrestleMania,
so figured he'd come out to the ring and say
who wants some, because whoever wants some when they comes
to the ring, they gonna catch The three most Dangerous
words are the three most Dangerous letters and all of

(48:38):
wrestling r KO, which led to the camera slowly going
up to the ramp doors opening and then the revelation
of Randy Orton's opponents.

Speaker 5 (49:21):
Man, I love that moment for him.

Speaker 11 (49:25):
Dude, I popped because I did not. I'm standing because
I had a I had this out in my backyard
and I'm standing there. I'm just like, there's it's gotta
be like you know, I'm just thinking of an average
wrestler that's on a roster already. You know, I never
thought in a million years like they would have the
teenage And we discussed this before, like.

Speaker 6 (49:47):
Like that, there's no way they're gonna book a t NA,
a non w W talent on this show. The proved
me wrong.

Speaker 5 (49:55):
To the motherfucker.

Speaker 11 (49:56):
What a crowd to do it with, Like you know,
it's Joe Hendry has called on so much that like,
you know, the crowd was just so into it.

Speaker 7 (50:04):
I liked.

Speaker 11 (50:05):
I loved Orton's reaction. Orton's just looking around the ring, look,
just looking at the crowd, just like he just can't
believe this, you know, like how popular this guy is,
and you know a lot of people were I saw
some people like, oh, I can't believe he lost in
such a short amount of time.

Speaker 7 (50:22):
But I mean, he's just here's what I got. I
got this from Joe Hendry. Well. Quote from Joe Henry.

Speaker 11 (50:28):
Says, people are saying Joe Henry lost quickly, John Cena
lost quickly in Wrestlmingia. It's about creating moments at the
end when Randy does my spin and then does his pose.

Speaker 7 (50:40):
People who know what wrestling is. No, that was Randy
giving me his seal of approval.

Speaker 6 (50:47):
Joe Hendry Gibson. It wasn't about the fact that, oh,
the TN champion got squashed or whatever, first of All
teenage champion. When's the last time a non wa WE
champion was on WrestleMania, And I mean by like somebody
who was a champion in another organization. Yeah, I don't
know if that's ever. I feel like it may have

(51:10):
happened before WrestleMania.

Speaker 9 (51:15):
There have been people from other promotions.

Speaker 8 (51:17):
When I'm struggling to remember a champion from another promotion,
maybe our WrestleMania expert knows off the top of his head.

Speaker 7 (51:27):
Yeah, just say that you revisited the Manias, you would know.

Speaker 2 (51:33):
So, yeah, yes, I have revisited the Manias. And if
we are not counting the ECW merger but not merger
when they invaded, then no, there's been no whether like
champion coming out with their belt out on a WrestleMania stage.

Speaker 5 (51:52):
There it is.

Speaker 6 (51:53):
So this is unprecedented and for him to get that moment,
and furthermore, he was handpicked by Randy Orton. Yeah, Jordan
an option or a list of people to face, he
chose Joe Hendry. He chose to give Joe Hendry this moment,
He chose to have this match with him, and just

(52:13):
and if you want to speak from a k FAPE standpoint, yes,
Joe Hendry is the TNA champion, But there's levels to
this shit. In no way, shape or form was TNA
champion Joe Hendry supposed to be that competitive against fourteen
time world champion Randy Jorton. Yeah, there's levels.

Speaker 7 (52:38):
To this, absolutely for sure.

Speaker 8 (52:40):
And that's why Joe Henry was such a perfect opponent too,
because a return you know, if they had done the
russ have returned, there or the Alice to Black return.

Speaker 9 (52:49):
They have to win that match. They can't lose to
Randy Whaddon.

Speaker 8 (52:54):
Same thing with like if he went and got a
legend like I don't know who I don't know, picks
an old guy, Like what fun is that to see
him beat up on an old guy. Joe Henry was
the perfect perfect combination of guy that can is a name,
can pop the crowd, can elevate himself even by losing

(53:14):
this match, you know, just because he's never been in
front of that many eyeballs before in his you know,
in his career.

Speaker 9 (53:21):
A little anecdote, my wife no idea who this guy is?

Speaker 8 (53:24):
His music goes and I think I made an audible
like yeah, and she went.

Speaker 9 (53:29):
From she she said, who the fuck is this guy?
And by the time before he was finished walking down
the ramp.

Speaker 8 (53:34):
She goes, I like this guy my my sample set
of one.

Speaker 9 (53:41):
He was a great exposure for Joe Hendry.

Speaker 7 (53:44):
Yeah, exactly, that's one person, you know, thank you, one.

Speaker 6 (53:48):
Person, one more believer. This was nothing but a win
for Joe Henry in every shape or form except for
the match itself.

Speaker 11 (53:59):
Now, I love how you know what we get with
orton The next Night people, I can't believe Wharton just
goes right to the top and just challenges John Cena
right for the title.

Speaker 7 (54:12):
I'm like, he did beat the world champion.

Speaker 9 (54:13):
Last because it looked like he was gonna go after and.

Speaker 11 (54:19):
Yeah yeah, And I was just like jokingly like he
did beat a TNA world champion last.

Speaker 7 (54:23):
Night, So you know, I think that deserves a title shot,
right just to say what title? But yeah, I mean
I had, dude, I had my hands way even I
was believing, you know, people at my party marking out
the people who knew Actually, you know this is a
called people know because people who listened to the show
like no of Joe Hendry, Like.

Speaker 11 (54:43):
So I was just that lifted me up, you know.
I mean, Russellman in Knight two was pretty solid thus far.
But that I mean, this is straight in the middle
of the show. We didn't get no halftime show, we.

Speaker 5 (54:57):
Got no the opposite of night one.

Speaker 7 (55:00):
Yeah, we didn't.

Speaker 11 (55:01):
Get no gimmicky type event you know, new music act.

Speaker 9 (55:07):
Ah.

Speaker 7 (55:08):
No, we get the goofyness at the end of the night.

Speaker 6 (55:10):
But uh yeah, I like the moment where Joe Hendry
went for the choke slam on radio Orton and Randy
Orton just looked like the fuck.

Speaker 9 (55:23):
I mean, Henry still got his in.

Speaker 6 (55:24):
Yeah, exactly, Yeah, he got all his moments in and
it was real creative usage of the moment of his
of his turnaround where he did it.

Speaker 5 (55:33):
They zoom in, boom r ko.

Speaker 11 (55:36):
Yeah, great camera, yep, great camera work.

Speaker 6 (55:43):
So moving on after that nice fun segment, we had
to follow that up with Logan Paul uh in a
match against AJ Styles. Yay, nothing against A Styles, but yeah,
nothing for Logan Paul either. Yeah, this was a match

(56:06):
that happened and surprisingly went on for damn near eighteen minutes. Yeah,
August match of.

Speaker 8 (56:14):
The night, and when the thing everyone's talking about is
something that somebody that wasn't in the match said after
the match, that's a problem and that carry across workshoot,
whatever it was Bromo he gave after the match. One

(56:34):
hundred times we were interested in anything happened in those
eighteen minutes from.

Speaker 9 (56:38):
Bell to bell between AJ Styles and Logan Paul.

Speaker 6 (56:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (56:42):
I remember nothing from this match.

Speaker 6 (56:44):
Nothing from this match stood out other than yeah, remembering
the finish of of carrying across coming out and saying,
you know, please use this do this YadA YadA, and
AJ saying no and it costing him the match, which
to me was a from a creative standpoint, was a

(57:05):
wrong decision like one I wouldn't have had Carrying Across
begging Aj styles to use it. I would have had
him just present it to him, be more subtle about it.
Don't be so overtly desperate for him to do this thing,
especially after you know this past Monday you did the
nice subtle gesture of which I thought was really really

(57:26):
a good moment where he took the phenomenal forearm with
his hands behind his back, basically just giving himself up,
and AJ still hitting the move after he had, after
Cross had essentially given himself up. I would have played
on that more and he were me, I would have
had Aj turn here at Wrestlemedia. I would have had
him take the wind and do the dirt against Logan

(57:49):
and make him.

Speaker 5 (57:50):
Turn heel or whatever the hell their direction is.

Speaker 6 (57:53):
With AJ, I would have had Carrying Cross just present
them the knuck the knuckles maybe and have AJ think
about it, and you know, Carring Cross just walks away.

Speaker 5 (58:07):
Here it is, it's in your hands.

Speaker 6 (58:09):
And i'd have had Aj decide to use them and
defeat Logan Paul. At least then something would have came
out of this match that people would have remembered. As
it stands now, Like you said, Doyle, the most memorable
thing that happened happened after the match, which I still
have not seen yet. I've heard about it, but have not.

Speaker 9 (58:29):
You should, you should seek it out.

Speaker 7 (58:32):
Yes, well, you know what, fuck it, We'll play right
now here we go it is.

Speaker 3 (58:42):
Let's talk about how awesome it is that Logan Paul
just won, and let's talk about Sam. Let's talk about
what Logan Paul represents. The shortcut. Feel so good to
be here, feels so good to be in the business.
Thinking about all of the funerals that I wasn't able
to attend for the last eleven years in this business,
all the holidays I miss. You know, I could have

(59:02):
just started on a YouTube channel, could have just jumped
in there at Kjo Steles. Feels really good, right, It's awesome,
It's really good.

Speaker 2 (59:09):
Do you guys know we have twenty five years combined
experience and what are we doing on menia?

Speaker 9 (59:13):
Well they know because they're normal human beings.

Speaker 3 (59:15):
But and the actually love professional wrestling, but apparently it
doesn't mean shit anymore. That doesn't mean shit.

Speaker 9 (59:19):
All I asked.

Speaker 3 (59:21):
All I asked Alan to do was for once to
not think about just himself, think about everybody in the back,
and think about the professional wrestling fans. That's all I
wanted him to do. Sometimes to do the right thing,
you have to do the wrong thing. But he's a
narcissist and he had to do it his way. Hey, Alan,

(59:41):
how many more wrestlemannias do you have in your system?

Speaker 5 (59:44):
Probably I don't know one.

Speaker 3 (59:45):
Maybe it's just the last one and you just pissed
that away for what?

Speaker 5 (59:49):
For what?

Speaker 3 (59:50):
For your way? Thanks a lot, Bud, I really appreciate it.
You want to know what the best advice I ever
got it was? It was from Bill Goldberg twenty twenty one,
back when I was in the Twilight Zone.

Speaker 7 (01:00:02):
You know what I mean. I'm wrestling for Gascline. It
was awesome.

Speaker 3 (01:00:05):
Let me tell you all about it, Bill goes, Hey Cross,
you know what, you remind me a lot of me.
I go, I think we have different styles, Bill, but
I really appreciate that you have any advice for me.

Speaker 7 (01:00:14):
He goes.

Speaker 3 (01:00:15):
You know what you just got to be a good soldier.
A good soldier is what he said. So I decided
to be a good soldier. You know what happened. They
released me and then I come back. You know what,
Being a good soldier gets you. Everybody here just so
in case you're wondering you want you want the back
scoop here. Being a good soldier gets your times cut.
Being a good soldier means that people come up to

(01:00:35):
you and say, hey, you got any great ideas? Yeah,
here it is from Scotland. No, no, no, that's a little
too great.

Speaker 6 (01:00:39):
We're looking just for good ideas.

Speaker 3 (01:00:41):
That's for those guys over there. That's what big a
good soldier is.

Speaker 5 (01:00:45):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:00:46):
Being a good soldier is coming to your hometown where
you cut your teeth when we got started, and not
being on the card. It's all about viral moments, now,
that's what it's all about. Viral moments. Well, guy, everybody's
been telling me that I got to become undeniable, and
as soon as it happens, they ignore it and they
shut it down.

Speaker 5 (01:01:04):
I never asked to wrestle Randy. I never asked.

Speaker 3 (01:01:08):
That happened organically, and you ignored it for a viral
moment and good aunt Joe nothing against him, but you
ignored it. And the crowd told you exactly how they
felt about me on SmackDown when I was eliminated and
you ignored it. Become undeniable.

Speaker 6 (01:01:23):
My ass, my ass.

Speaker 5 (01:01:27):
You want a viral moment on.

Speaker 3 (01:01:29):
Behalf of all of the true fans of professional wrestling.

Speaker 6 (01:01:33):
Guy with the suit and tie the truck, go fuck yourself?

Speaker 5 (01:01:36):
That's from Killer Cross.

Speaker 11 (01:01:37):
No ooh, guys, gentlemen, I think I have another SoundBite
I can add to the soundboard.

Speaker 7 (01:01:43):
I can add that right to.

Speaker 10 (01:01:45):
Uh, go fuck yourself right next to that one awesome
uh I do have here, says According to Fightful, select
Cross does not have any backstage heat.

Speaker 11 (01:01:56):
Despite his pointed comments, The segment, while unscripted, did catch
the attention of w W management No ship. A source
told Fightful that while many interviews on the recap show
were unscripted across, the segment required some approval before it aired.

Speaker 7 (01:02:14):
Due to the language go fuck yourself apparently had to
get approved. But yeah, uh, I mean yeah, yeah, Alan.

Speaker 11 (01:02:27):
You know what though, He's right though, because I always
think of people when he mentions how you maybe just
pissed away your last wrestling and they have how much
more time do you have?

Speaker 7 (01:02:37):
I feel that way.

Speaker 11 (01:02:39):
I feel it man like guys like AJ styles, guys
like seeing punk guys like uh John Cena like these
you know, you only got a few more matches with
some of these guys, and it's like, let's not piss
them away. And uh Dre, I agree, man, I don't
remember a lot from this match. Uh you know, I
it sucks. Is like our last episode. I was predicting,

(01:03:03):
you know, our prediction episode. I was predicting that this
was gonna be a really good, you know fight. I
thought these guys were gonna have some cool high spots.
Uh no, I mean it was. It was pretty boring,
man Like. If there was a match I was most
disappointed with on this card, this was it. And with
the amount of time they got, you know, but go ahead, Dole,

(01:03:29):
I spoke long enough.

Speaker 9 (01:03:32):
Oh no, I mean this this is just a The
story was terrible.

Speaker 8 (01:03:36):
The match wasn't very I mean the match was okay,
it wasn't great.

Speaker 9 (01:03:40):
Uh yeah, it justs what it was.

Speaker 8 (01:03:42):
Like I said, when when a viral moment after the
matches is the thing everybody's talking about, not the best
time yep, And I really want to like carrying across
a lot, but.

Speaker 9 (01:03:56):
I feel like I can't remember the last time I
saw him wrestle. I guess he's been on. He was
on recently, but anyway, he's just not a very wrestler.
That's surprised. He's great with the other stuff. If you
can figure out a way to get a little better
in the.

Speaker 8 (01:04:13):
Brain or something. I really want to like this guy.
But we'll see what happens with all this. Hopefully he
can get his act together. But that is the most
interesting thing and then carry across them all. But with
this match was the most interesting thing about it, and
that's not a good time.

Speaker 6 (01:04:32):
Yeah, reacting to that interview in real time, you could
tell he was definitely blurring the lines between quote unquote
k fabe and reality. That was definitely a line blurring
interview if anything, not full on shoot, but also you know,
not just a work. There was some shit in there.

(01:04:54):
He was getting off his chest in that one for real,
and it's it's the type of moment that can potentially
break him out of obscurity. But it's up to create
ww creative, So whether they want to take advantage of it,

(01:05:20):
because if what he says is true, every it's all
about viral moments now, so everything's about these viral moments. Well,
you just had one right there. What are you gonna
do about it? Because if he's somebody that triple or
if he's somebody that triple potentially in or something like that,

(01:05:40):
and you needed something to break him out of obscurity
to get people paying attention to him, this is it.
This is the moment that you have. How you take
advantage of that, you know, that's for y'all to determine.
If he if y'all turn him into that line blurrying character,
you know, it kind of gives you shades of see
him Punk first running WWE, when he was becoming discruddled

(01:06:02):
and they were doing a lot of line blurring shit
with him. It's shades of that. But it worked then.
Who's to say it can't work in theory with Cross
to a certain extent now, But if they if the
next time we see him on camera he's just doing
the same shit he was doing before in WrestleMania, then

(01:06:23):
this will be an opportunity wasted.

Speaker 5 (01:06:29):
M m hmm.

Speaker 2 (01:06:31):
What about Carlos, Yeah, no, no, no, I completely agree
with what Drey was saying, like, we've had this build
up with carrying Cross for is it like the past
year or a year and a half where he's just
been going working in the background. He's been like skulking, eyeballing,

(01:06:52):
you know, just hitting figures and then dropping little drip
dripping like little bits of uh like Insecure thirty into
the wrestlers like for example, the New Day and now
you know, first the Xavior, then he got into Kofe's
ear and now they flipped, they took out Biggie and
now they're on their little heel run. And Drew McIntyre

(01:07:16):
is another example of another wrestler that he talked to.
You know, he was all about, you know, contrast to
like we just watched rus So Mania thirty six week
did the review about almost about a month now, but
he was the face of the company for that time.
He won the title, you know, and here we flashed,
we flashed forward about five years and like the trajectory

(01:07:41):
of him being like the number one face is completely
dropped and now it's shifted to the other way.

Speaker 5 (01:07:47):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:07:48):
So I would like for them to do something and
him having that kind of that promo kind of with
a shoot and everything like that during WrestleMania weekend. Definitely
will get some eyes because what they say they had
over one hundred and twenty eight hundred and thirty thousand

(01:08:09):
people attend. That's not including the people that actually viewed
it all over the world. So and I'm sure the
Reddit community is passed down around. I've seen it, you know,
the Twitter community, any social media presence or wherever community,
wherever you get your sports entertainment, wrestling news from. It's

(01:08:32):
been passed around. Everyone's seen it, everyone's heard it. So
it should give him more eyes on him. And now
I think he uploaded. If it wasn't something today, it
was something yesterday about they're releasing the trailer about Killer Cross.
And I'm not sure if it's like an actual documentary

(01:08:55):
like for him, like in like for him in real life,
or is this part of the kfabe. Is it part
of the kfabe or is it part of the kfape
with a little bit of shooting in there. You know, So.

Speaker 9 (01:09:09):
Whatever it is, or it might already be out.

Speaker 6 (01:09:13):
Yeah, whatever it is, it's gonna have to maintain that
if it's wrestling, if it's WWE programming related it needs
to maintain that blurred line because that's what's got people's interest. Now,
that's what has people's attention. Yeah, if they just fall
back into the regular KFAPE storyline, they'll lose everything.

Speaker 5 (01:09:34):
They'll lose it.

Speaker 2 (01:09:35):
Yeah, and then maybe that's what they're they're leading into
now because it's not coming like across a WWE channel,
like their YouTube channel. It's coming from his YouTube channel
with the Killer Cross whatever it is. So the most
interesting thing that I got is that I guess Scarlett
has more years on them in the business than carrying

(01:09:57):
across because she said that they have twenty fiers combined.

Speaker 8 (01:10:03):
Oh yeah, and figuring that out Chicago's very own card.

Speaker 5 (01:10:12):
Yeah, you have to look look up up and see
when they started.

Speaker 2 (01:10:19):
Like though, I think I was interrupted whenever you were
going to get to the distract you.

Speaker 9 (01:10:24):
Yeah, it doesn't matter, right.

Speaker 6 (01:10:31):
Any other thoughts on Logan or a J Well, apparently
Logan Paul is about to It's gonna be Jay Usso's
first opponent as UH World Heavyweight Champion, which I'm not
completely mad about because given that the fans have been
fairly luke well the I won't say the fans the

(01:10:53):
i w C has been fairly lukewarm about Jay Usso
what's the one way to really shut that down to
get people back fully on James side. Put them up
against somebody they hate even more. Yeah, and that's damn sure,
Logan Paul.

Speaker 2 (01:11:07):
Yeah, I just not. I'm hoping that they could both
carry each other. So it's because I don't know if
Jay's still working on his cardio or something like that,
because yeah, exactly, And then you know, we've seen what
the Logan Paul was able to do with aj give

(01:11:28):
us a very unmemorable match. So mostly only time will tell,
But you know, I'm really thinking that Jay's probably gonna
have this title run only going to SummerSlam unfortunately.

Speaker 5 (01:11:46):
Yeah tbd.

Speaker 6 (01:11:47):
So next up after this, we got an ultimate match,
which somebody decided that the second to last match all
Night two of WrestleMania needed to be the Women's Tag
Team Championship match, with liv Morgan and Roquel Rodriguez defending
their belts against what was supposed to have been Lyra

(01:12:10):
Valkyria and Bailey. It turned out out to be Bailey
because Bailey was attacked backstage before the show, causing Lyra
Valkuria that need an opponent at the last minute, and
who would lo and Behold show up to be her
partner the Man the World who returned to a very

(01:12:38):
big pop, and in the match, of course, Larra, Valkyria
and Becky Lynch won to become the new women's tag
team Champions, just to turn around the very next night
all raw and lose the guy damn belts right back

(01:12:58):
to live in rock cat and resulting in Becky Lynch
turning on Lyra the very next night and beating the
dog shit out of her, leading to a Becky Lynch
Hill turn. What in the entire fuck was this whole
sequence of booking.

Speaker 11 (01:13:17):
Oh dre It goes further than this, because liv is
leaving to go do a movie and they now have
the tag titles, Like these tag titles are sluts right now,
they're being passed around. Uh you know this is like
the joint at the party. Everybody's getting a little bit
of it. Is it just to jack up you know?

(01:13:39):
Over callen lives like wins like now that now the
way they have like a three time tag team champions
together or something like that.

Speaker 7 (01:13:47):
I didn't understand this.

Speaker 11 (01:13:49):
And poor Bailey doing all the fucking lifting, you know,
doing all the fucking lifting, just for Becky to pull
a fucking Hogan moment, you know.

Speaker 6 (01:14:00):
Out of the you know, and out of all of
this booking shit, Bailey's the only person in this whole
tire thing.

Speaker 5 (01:14:06):
That I give a shit about.

Speaker 6 (01:14:08):
And that's because I feel bad for her, especially if
and if I have thought about it, I would have
had your cue.

Speaker 5 (01:14:14):
I would have had you get to sound bite from it.

Speaker 6 (01:14:16):
But during WrestleMania Week, Bailey did an interview with Chris
van Fleet and it's actually a really good interview. It's
about an hour long. It's on his YouTube channel. I
recommend everybody go check it out. But she talks about
how she sees herself in this during that interview, and
she talks about how despite the fact that she was

(01:14:38):
one of you know, the four horse women who all
came up through NXT together, you know, her, Charlotte, Becky,
and Sasha, and how they've all gone on to be obviously,
Charlotte and Becky have gone on to become, you know,
at the top of the women's division, and she's been
in there just as long as they have. She's done,

(01:14:59):
you know, she may not have the same number of
accolades of them, but she talks about how she doesn't
see herself as being on their level. She sees Charlotte
and Becky up here and she's somewhere below them, and she.

Speaker 5 (01:15:13):
Talks about how.

Speaker 6 (01:15:16):
And is in the moment you can almost kind of
feel like she's getting a little emotional when she's talking
about it, but she's always like, you know, some of
it may be her own doing, because she's just the
one who takes whatever booking they give her and just
tries to make the best out of it, whereas some
others may go in there and say, you know, and
I'm not doing that, that doesn't make sense for me,

(01:15:36):
or you know, maybe fight for themselves harder, or reject
certain things, you know, and shoot down or fight back
against creative. Where she's not the one who does that.
She's I guess somebody told her at some point or
creator know, whatever they give you, make it work, make
the most.

Speaker 5 (01:15:52):
Out of it.

Speaker 6 (01:15:53):
And she's done that throughout her career, trying to make
the most out of it, and it may have you know,
perhaps that's cost. I'm not saying that she said this
at this point, but this is kind of my own
speculation at this point, but perhaps that's cost her a
bit at times. Perhaps there were some things that she
wound up doing that maybe she didn't agree with or
didn't like. But because she's always had the mentality of

(01:16:16):
making whatever she gets work and making the most out
of it, it's kind of put.

Speaker 5 (01:16:21):
Her in this position.

Speaker 6 (01:16:22):
And then she actually and she almost slips up at
one point in interview because she says like and by
the time this airs and she cuts herself off. So
it seems like at the time she recorded this interview
with Chris van Fleet, she already knew she was out
of WrestleMania, And that makes even more sad because she's
talking about this knowing what's already been, knowing what the

(01:16:46):
booking is already gonna be, and that she's been booked
out of the car despite being on all the posters.
Like imagine walking around Vegas that week, all the posters
and stuff up there, and this is you and Lyra
supposedly being booked on this man, and everybody's going to
thinking to you, a Larra, and you know you're not
gonna be part of the show this year. They're gonna
write you off in exchange for Becky Lynch. This person

(01:17:09):
that you see is already being above you, who hasn't
been in the broke, who hasn't been on TV for
the last year, but decides that she wants to come
back now. And because she decides she wants to come
back now, she gets to take your spot on the show.

Speaker 5 (01:17:24):
How fucked up is that?

Speaker 7 (01:17:26):
Extremely? Like I said, you know, Bailey did all the work.
I felt like, like, don't hear I love Becky Man.
I have them.

Speaker 11 (01:17:34):
I have the man t shirt in my closet. You know,
I'm a mark for her. But it felt like she
pulled a Hogan moment. You know, she was gone for
a while, she came back, inserted herself, took away the
spotlight from somebody else.

Speaker 7 (01:17:52):
But I'm sure there's all There's a reason for a
lot of things. Because we saw what happened, you know after,
you know, like we said, we saw the tag titles
get lost again. We saw Bety turned on Valkyrie her outfit.
I'm sorry, like Valkyrie's the wings, I just reminded me

(01:18:12):
of the guys on It's Always Sunny Philadelphia when they
were had the American Eagle wings.

Speaker 5 (01:18:19):
When Carrie came out there on her big bird status.

Speaker 7 (01:18:24):
Yeah yeah, but I mean, but it is what it
is booking. But like, I mean, I don't hate Becky,
She's a heel. Now I love it.

Speaker 8 (01:18:33):
I feel like must have promised Bailey something right, right, Well,
I thought like we'll get a title run after, you know,
when the title of Thomas Slam.

Speaker 9 (01:18:42):
Or something right.

Speaker 5 (01:18:43):
I don't see you would think that.

Speaker 6 (01:18:46):
But after hearing her interview with Chris van Fleet, I
don't know that she was promised that.

Speaker 5 (01:18:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:18:53):
I mean, it's not like she it's not like she
just sounded like completely disgruntled with everything, Like that's not
how she stopped it in interview. And again I encourage
everybody to go back and watch it or at least
find the clip because that clip has been shared around
a lot and talk about a lot. But you said,
she doesn't sound like angry or disgruntled. She just sounds
more sad when she's talking about it. And again, she

(01:19:15):
doesn't say like you know, she has any issues with
Triple ahor like she openly she says in the in
the moment that you know her and Triple Ahs have.

Speaker 5 (01:19:22):
A good relationship.

Speaker 6 (01:19:24):
They have a good, strong working relationship with each other.
I don't know that they said that, they like, hey,
take this fall and we'll you know, we'll make it
up to you with such and such a point. I
don't know. Maybe they did, but I don't know that
I trust that they did. They may have just done
it because she's the good soldier.

Speaker 9 (01:19:45):
Yeah, well if she comes back and gets a title line, well.

Speaker 11 (01:19:49):
No, yeah, I mean, like I could see, you know,
Bailey returning and you know, insert the icy title and
maybe a triple thread or maybe Becky beats you know,
Becky gets the title and Becky loses it to Bailey,
you know, like.

Speaker 6 (01:20:05):
Comes back and just gets served up to Becky because
obviously Becky revealed herself as the attacker, and Bailey comes
back wanting revenge, and you know, Becky just.

Speaker 5 (01:20:15):
Whoops on her.

Speaker 7 (01:20:17):
The fact that that where we.

Speaker 11 (01:20:20):
Were like, there's no way they're gonna put two titles
on there, right, I feel some dumb.

Speaker 7 (01:20:31):
Yeah, yeah, thank god.

Speaker 6 (01:20:32):
It's a technicality, but not something that anybody's likely to remember.

Speaker 7 (01:20:38):
Also, Live Morgan best bringing the ring gear of the night,
just just putting that out there, fellas.

Speaker 5 (01:20:49):
I mean, when has liv Morgan not had among the
best ring gear of any woman?

Speaker 2 (01:20:52):
Of the Night, Woman of the Night, good one.

Speaker 6 (01:21:00):
Call.

Speaker 5 (01:21:01):
I didn't even think about it that way.

Speaker 2 (01:21:04):
Oh you didn't mean it that way. You were used to.

Speaker 5 (01:21:08):
The night on the car, not like not like she's
some sort of.

Speaker 6 (01:21:11):
Street walker, how daring, sir, God, Women of the Night.
That's what they specifically call the ones in Vegas.

Speaker 2 (01:21:18):
To Jesus, I thought that's where you were going with them.
When you're like the gear of any of the women
of the night, you know, like Zoe start here complaining
about what's wearing.

Speaker 7 (01:21:34):
May you see that Zoe starts be complaining about I
guess the ring gear that wears.

Speaker 2 (01:21:40):
I'm if everything comes about that, that's it's just you.
You you have to find your gimmick. If she doesn't
want to show that particular amount of skin exactly, I
mean that's fine. I mean they try to get the
rub when they pay her out the Trish, and they
just didn't go anywhere, Like I'm not sure if the

(01:22:00):
storyline then they just couldn't find anything or make it work,
or they realized that the audience was like, yeah, the
audience loves Trish, but they don't like you Zone, So
what do you want us to do?

Speaker 6 (01:22:13):
So? Yeah, I mean she was still new on the
main roster at that time, so yeah, they didn't. I
was fans didn't really have much to get invested on
her behind other than the fact that you know, she
was Trish Stratus's sidekick.

Speaker 9 (01:22:27):
Yeah, well they gave her this cocta cold fusion.

Speaker 6 (01:22:34):
Oh yeah with her and Shana, they're not they're not
giving her the best ship to work with either.

Speaker 2 (01:22:45):
They pitched that, so wow.

Speaker 6 (01:22:49):
Yeah, they did pitch that. I don't know if it
was the all for them that pitched it or if
it was's I did. Maybe because it flopped so hard
that's why they was like a sonya best luck.

Speaker 2 (01:23:01):
Yeah, because that's something I think I heard Shanea say
that that's that's how they pitched. They pitched it. They
pitched that they were going to be uh you know,
like MMA asque type of stable and that was that
whole part of the fusion.

Speaker 5 (01:23:15):
And there wasn't a look at MMA and none of
what they did.

Speaker 2 (01:23:19):
So well, I can't do but for me, this match
is I think I mentioned in the discord. If you
guys have not joined the podcast Championship discord, we'll go
ahead and rehash everything that we've said, uh, pretty much
in this podcast, but that I had pointed out too

(01:23:41):
that like it made no sense, but it since they
gave up the titles the next day. But I can
see why Paul Triple H would be like, you know what,
we're gonna have you win this night because we can't
waste the pop. Everyone wants to see you come back.
Everyone's happy they see you come back. Can't break everyone's
hearts a WrestleMania because guess what we're gonna have John

(01:24:05):
Ceno with. Yeah, we can't have a we can't have
you know, a bad uh you know, kind of like
a bad turn or you know, a surprising turn. When
we're gonna have John Cena win at the end. It's
like just like depression or sad bottles sad. But you know,

(01:24:29):
if you're a fan of math, like a negative, a
negative makes a positive. So they should have just went
with it. They probably would have got something good out
of it. But now we're course correcting the next night
and I has everyone on here, why did you bother
to do this? And now with them announcing that Live
is going to be gone to go film this movie,
film a move, you know, to go be in a

(01:24:49):
movie and that she is possibly the lead of it.
That's like six to eight weeks. What are you gonna
do with the mistag team titles? Because it's not just
raw for all three brands, NXT and SmackDown included.

Speaker 9 (01:25:05):
Like I said, to give them.

Speaker 8 (01:25:07):
He's like, you're you're granted a leave or something he said,
and then he wouldn't get on to doms.

Speaker 9 (01:25:11):
I don't know if that was supposed to clear that
up or whatever, but like, why not.

Speaker 8 (01:25:15):
I don't have a problem with Hotshot in those titles
around whatever?

Speaker 9 (01:25:19):
Who gives a shit?

Speaker 8 (01:25:20):
But I don't understand why they put them back on
Living Roquet? Why not put them on somebody else?

Speaker 2 (01:25:24):
Exactly?

Speaker 6 (01:25:25):
Yeah? I mean, and realistically it's the women's tag team titles.
Who gives a ship? If we don't see those belts
at all for the next six weeks, who cares?

Speaker 5 (01:25:34):
They kill?

Speaker 6 (01:25:36):
How? You don't?

Speaker 2 (01:25:37):
But I care?

Speaker 9 (01:25:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (01:25:39):
There you go. That's two.

Speaker 6 (01:25:42):
The word is that it is legitimate, like her leave
of her time off, you know that is real. She
is legitimately going to be filming a movie, which is
I don't know if she's deleted, but I've heard that
she's slated to have a major role in the film,
and it's not some cheap WWE Films project.

Speaker 5 (01:26:02):
It's it's supposedly something significant. Now what it is.

Speaker 6 (01:26:05):
Apparently, I guess they said it will be deveiled what
next week. The rumors have already started flying about what
it could be, and I've heard one that I don't
even know if I was classified as a rumor.

Speaker 5 (01:26:18):
I don't think it's more fans.

Speaker 6 (01:26:20):
Speculation, but it peaked, but it caught my attention because
if it were should be true, it would be wild.
Now full disclosure, I don't believe it's true. I don't
think it's actually going to be this movie. I think
it's more so fans just putting two coincidences together and
trying to make something out of nothing. But coincidentally, there

(01:26:42):
is a very big movie that is stayed to start
filming this summer, and it's obviously Lives about to have
time off, and this movie is slated to have a
character in it that Live Morgan very much bears a

(01:27:03):
striking resemblance to.

Speaker 5 (01:27:06):
Require very huh.

Speaker 7 (01:27:09):
I was like, I know she's gonna be an Avengers Doomsday.

Speaker 6 (01:27:13):
She could require very little effort to look like this character.
If it were true, and no, I'm not talking about
Barbie two, but it.

Speaker 2 (01:27:26):
Was resembling to the role that Barbie too has already
portrayed in movies.

Speaker 6 (01:27:38):
No, okay, the one not a role that Barbie is
portrayed in movies. No, not that, not that actress. But
you're not too far off. You're in the ballpark. It's
a movie from the other company. But I won't bury

(01:28:01):
it too much further. The rumor is, and well, the
movie that it's like to start filming this summer is
Spider Man four.

Speaker 5 (01:28:09):
The character in question is Gwenn Stacy.

Speaker 2 (01:28:14):
See.

Speaker 8 (01:28:14):
The only rumor i've is that it's not a superhero
movie and it's a dramatic role.

Speaker 2 (01:28:21):
I can see that one. I can't see here playing
Gwen like I think.

Speaker 6 (01:28:27):
I mean, she's young ish, but it's not still in
her twenties.

Speaker 2 (01:28:32):
No, she's in theties. She's in the early thirties. So yeah,
like Tom Holland still looks kind of boy ish even
though he's like in his mid to late twenties. And
now I think, so I can see thirty on the

(01:28:53):
DIT okay, soty.

Speaker 6 (01:28:55):
Thirty one, Yeah, it should be thirty one this year.

Speaker 2 (01:28:58):
Ye, so yeah, so maybe I just don't see it happening,
like like I'd like to be shocked, you know, I
like to be surprised. So if she goes out there,
you know, and make something happen, that is something she
wished upon. And I don't know what she sacrificed because

(01:29:18):
she's a self proclaimed witch.

Speaker 6 (01:29:21):
So and I mean Living Morgan is thirty, she'll be
thirty one. He's only two years older than Tom Holland,
so age wise, it ain't like it's that much of
a reach. Again, I don't believe it's true for a second,
just because one liv Morgan, her acting chops are improving,

(01:29:44):
and if we going based off what we see in WWE,
it ain't much to be optimistic about.

Speaker 5 (01:29:50):
But she could prove us all wrong.

Speaker 6 (01:29:51):
She could actually, you know, win put behind the Kevin,
given some actual meat to work, which she could prove
to be a very fine actress.

Speaker 5 (01:29:58):
Who's I just don't.

Speaker 6 (01:30:01):
See her being given a role of that much prominence
in the MCU as a gwyn Stacy because, for one,
if it's Gwenn Stacy, obviously it's not a one picture deal.
It would be for multiple films, presumably as Gwinn Stacy
in this Spider Man continuity potentially the greater MCU continuity,

(01:30:24):
because obviously we know what happens with Gwenn Stacy and
how she eventually evolves into Spider.

Speaker 5 (01:30:28):
Gwyn and all that.

Speaker 6 (01:30:30):
I'd be shocked and they give a role of that
significance to a newcomer like Lift Morgan. That's the main
reason why I don't believe it at all for a second.

Speaker 9 (01:30:41):
Plus, like, what.

Speaker 8 (01:30:41):
Will that be over the course of five six years,
Like she's gonna be explaining still, Like.

Speaker 6 (01:30:49):
I mean, at a certain point, they're adult. I mean
I think currently in the MCU they're they're out of
high school now as far as those characters, so they're
they're young adult. Yeah, so she could still do that,
but yeah, like I said, if there was that, it
would be probably a multi film, multi year commitment, So
you know, she'd be the one. She'd be having to

(01:31:11):
take time off a lot, potentially over the next couple
of years, depending on how this goes.

Speaker 2 (01:31:18):
What about that Black Cat? Can you see her as
a Black Cat?

Speaker 12 (01:31:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (01:31:22):
I yeah, that's what I was thinking back.

Speaker 5 (01:31:26):
Yeah, I could see her in that role.

Speaker 6 (01:31:29):
If that character, I don't know, I haven't looked much
into Spider Man for so, I don't know what all
characters are going to be part of it, but yeah
she could. She could also play a damn good Felicia Hardy. Honestly, hell,
she might be better as a Felicia Hardy than gwyn Stacy.

Speaker 2 (01:31:43):
And then that character could just pop in here and there,
just like little maybe you take up ten fifteen minutes
of screen, but still can be considered maybe a major
player because they'll have like contributions to do to the
main story here and there, you know, kind of like
they threw and halfaway in doing something important as Catwoman

(01:32:04):
in the last Batman movie.

Speaker 6 (01:32:07):
Yeah, and that would be a single movie commitment, because
I doubt we would get Felicia Hardy in multiple films
unless she proved to be like super popular. But it
certainly wouldn't be as large of a commitment as presumably
gwinn Stacy.

Speaker 5 (01:32:23):
But I guess we'll find out next week.

Speaker 6 (01:32:26):
Yeah, can watch this all be wrong and it's just
she's in some random movie where like the fuck is
this shit? Right? Speaking of movies, I meant to watch
the trailer earlier, but apparently the trailer for the Rocks
new movie the one where he plays the the MNMA Fighter.
Apparently that trailer dropped today and m some people have

(01:32:48):
speculated that he's actually does a damn good job in
the film. I even heard the old word be put
out there by somebody.

Speaker 9 (01:32:57):
Oh.

Speaker 6 (01:32:58):
That one. Yeah please, Yes, I saw somebody say that
this could potentially be we could potentially see his first
big Old nomination. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:33:18):
I have not watched the trailer yet.

Speaker 6 (01:33:20):
Obviously this is TVD in very very early speculation, but.

Speaker 8 (01:33:26):
I think Bautista is the best actor out of all
of them.

Speaker 2 (01:33:31):
Bootista blue blue, He's no longer blue. Yeah, that could
definitely be up to something like if you had to
rank on me, it be Boutista, and then by default
number two would still have to be uh, it would

(01:33:52):
have to be Dewey. But John Cena's canting. Like if
I think if season two of Peacemaker is doing a
very like does another knockout job, then I would actually
put him over the top because I've.

Speaker 9 (01:34:05):
Been moving more ranged than Danne does.

Speaker 2 (01:34:09):
Yeah, but you entertain me more well, entertained me more
on that on those movies like even like doing like
the Little Slapstick like straight to video movies. But now
they're straight to Amazon Prime. Like the Ricky Staniki. It's
a crazy movie and no one would actually want to
see it, but it's pretty hilarious to me.

Speaker 5 (01:34:29):
I heard it was pretty funny.

Speaker 6 (01:34:30):
But here's the one thing, though, that The Rock has
over both of them. He can carry a movie as
a lead. John Cena has not done that yet, neither
has Batista, whereas The Rock has been the lead in
films that have done numbers.

Speaker 11 (01:34:48):
And look how I'm gonna bring it back. Do you
guys ever see the movie That Condemned? Do you know
who's in the movie The Condemned? We didn't talk.

Speaker 6 (01:34:55):
About We need to talk about what he did with
that fucking four wheeler.

Speaker 2 (01:35:02):
Like, dude, he hit the barricade.

Speaker 7 (01:35:07):
Okay, I watched it multiple times. This fucking lady's overreacting, overreacting.
He didn't hit her. First of all.

Speaker 11 (01:35:15):
I saw he Uh he went way. He missed the
rimp entirely.

Speaker 5 (01:35:20):
And uh it took so long to come back, Yeah.

Speaker 11 (01:35:23):
Because we were wondering, like why is this music just
taken forever? Yeah, dude, he goes around the turn and
he he hits He goes past the commentary table and
he hits the barrier.

Speaker 7 (01:35:37):
Right. The lady just falls back.

Speaker 11 (01:35:41):
You know, it doesn't hit her, doesn't hurt her, doesn't
damage the barrier. You know, it has those led lights
l D lights.

Speaker 7 (01:35:48):
Didn't you know, explode or nothing? You know, like, yeah,
it still worked. So I mean so I don't understand,
like it's just overreacting. I guess.

Speaker 11 (01:36:01):
Former I got something here. Former WW writer Vince Russo
thanks the female fan who got hurt by Stone Cold
Steve Austin's ATV can sue the stadium, ww t K
and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Speaker 7 (01:36:14):
For hurting her.

Speaker 11 (01:36:15):
I swear to god, I'm like, Bro, he's whipping around
that ring way too fast. I swear, Bro, you can
definitely tell it's him because he says bro up as
soon as I said that.

Speaker 7 (01:36:27):
Wham. I gotta tell you, man, not for anything. If
that girl has a lawyer, whoa bro. We are suing
the arena, we are suing the WW We're suon TKO,
we are suing Stone Cold Steve Austin. Bro. Oh my god.
Bro Russas said on the Wrestling Binge that I did
not insert any bros.

Speaker 2 (01:36:47):
That was How many more bros do you think would
have been added to that bro.

Speaker 11 (01:36:57):
Imagine hit an interview between him and Matt Riddle. I mean,
you know what I mean, jeez. I I remember listening
to one of his podcast and I just I couldn't
do it because of how many bros.

Speaker 7 (01:37:09):
I was like, dude, how old are you? How old
are you?

Speaker 2 (01:37:12):
All right?

Speaker 8 (01:37:15):
But yeah, down there talking to her like must sarious.

Speaker 7 (01:37:22):
Yeah yeah, yeah man.

Speaker 5 (01:37:23):
I mean he's the president of the company.

Speaker 6 (01:37:24):
You know.

Speaker 5 (01:37:25):
He immediately jumped into anti lawsuit motive.

Speaker 11 (01:37:27):
Yeah, he saw he saw like a green shirt guy
situation where this lady and get hurt.

Speaker 7 (01:37:32):
She's gonna end up going to every fucking show.

Speaker 6 (01:37:35):
So I mean, that'd be a small price to pay
one last.

Speaker 7 (01:37:40):
To deal with Steve Austin run over my fucking leg
any day I can sit down and watch.

Speaker 6 (01:37:46):
Yeah, you get wrestlemating tickets for life, don't sue us? Okay,
easy choice.

Speaker 2 (01:37:53):
Take you out the next year.

Speaker 7 (01:37:55):
Yeah, I know, right, there is.

Speaker 6 (01:37:57):
What Yeah, you guys, he wasn't the h That wasn't
the only case of vecular manslaughter that happened that weekend,
because there was also another clip that went around, uh
after WrestleMania of Dominic the stereo riding in the golf
cart yere else around the arena and they actually ran

(01:38:22):
them motherfucker over. Yeah, that one was worse, right, like.

Speaker 5 (01:38:26):
They actually made contact with the human and hit him.

Speaker 7 (01:38:30):
Ben Russo wasn't talking about that one.

Speaker 9 (01:38:32):
Bro.

Speaker 6 (01:38:34):
Right, we want to worry about some little dumb as
woman that would didn't sit her ass down.

Speaker 5 (01:38:38):
It was a little too close to the rail.

Speaker 6 (01:38:39):
Granted, stoke Co was probably drunk as fuck or he
was damned and whipping that thing hard. I saw it
like when he was doing it and he was whipping
it around, like yo, he's whipping that thing around fastest ship.

Speaker 5 (01:38:50):
I was just like, you know, okay, he's got the space.
He does this. You know, he does the ATV.

Speaker 6 (01:38:55):
Racing thing now, so I'm like, okay, he can handle,
he's got control. Then he went back for that second
lap and he's whipping that thing and also bamn, I
was like, oh well.

Speaker 11 (01:39:03):
Yeah, I mean, like, uh, you know, the man guy
ducked in the Hall of Fame again this year, he's
probably having a couple of beers back there. It's wrestle
Mania with the boys. I mean, I get it.

Speaker 2 (01:39:17):
He's gonna hang with Brett Hart and you know when
you're hanging with Brett Hart. You you gotta come ready
to party that you.

Speaker 6 (01:39:24):
Next time we see Stone Cold. Though he walked his
ass to that ring a TV privileges have been taken away.

Speaker 7 (01:39:35):
Since he got back there, went over, took the keys
out of and give that right.

Speaker 5 (01:39:40):
Just hand me the keys.

Speaker 11 (01:39:41):
Load back on the trailer. We're putting it in the warehouse.
We're retiring it.

Speaker 5 (01:39:48):
Right that it's going to it's going to the headquarters.

Speaker 6 (01:39:51):
It'll be in the museum next year at w W
World in New Orleans.

Speaker 3 (01:39:57):
Hey.

Speaker 11 (01:39:57):
You know what, though, that was a better better wrestle
media moment than him stunning Vince because that one is
still sour in my mind thinking about that one. So
so cold in the past few years has made up
for that shitty stunner. We got to see Hi Wressell,
Kevin Owens. I mean you got to see him smashing
a TV.

Speaker 7 (01:40:14):
So cool, typical. I hope next ything else crazy.

Speaker 6 (01:40:23):
Yeah, all that remains is the main event, Cody Rose
versus John c for the w w E Championship. Well undisputed.
They still holding on to that. You even though they
finally dropped the universal.

Speaker 5 (01:40:40):
And this match was not as good as the main
event from Night one. This is what I meant what
I said night one.

Speaker 6 (01:40:48):
Night two was the opposite of Night one, because Night
one was a bunch of you know, a lackluster i'll
say undercard with a phenomenal made event.

Speaker 5 (01:40:59):
Yeah two was.

Speaker 6 (01:41:01):
A much better undercard with a very lackluster main event.
I'm just gonna fly out saying this made event fucking sucked. Yeah,
it fucking sucked. Like the match was mediocre. And then
while this match is already mid and not really getting

(01:41:22):
you know, you know, you basically watching this match like, Okay,
they're going through the motions, Johnson's whooping, Cody's ass, You're
waiting for the comeback, You're waiting for the interference.

Speaker 5 (01:41:30):
That's anever the media happened. And then we finally get to, you.

Speaker 6 (01:41:33):
Know, the third act of the match, where okay, shit's
gonna pick up and we're working to us to finish,
and what the fuck do we get fucking Travis Scott
coming to the ring, which okay, yeah saw that coming,
knew it was gonna happen, but him just strutting his
little lowly ass down to the ring, taking his little
sweet ass fucking time like, sir, you ain't that guy

(01:41:54):
damn important. Put some fucking hustle in your step. Get
your ass in that damn ring. We're tired here in
this little fucking fiend sal that we've been listening to
you since damn January. Get your ass in the ring,
get your lick, take your lick back from Cody that
we know was coming, and let's move on to this ship.
We really wanted that. We really care about who else

(01:42:16):
is going to come out? You know, let's get to
the ship. We really came here to see the rock.
Is he gonna come out? Are we gonna see Paul
Hayman come back? Says something? And we got none of that.
We got none of that shit. We got John Cena
cracking Cody with the belt at a three pound, three count.

(01:42:36):
Johnsena is our new champion seventeen times fucking Really, that's it,
you know, That's all the fucking give us for night
to a WrestleMania Now, yeah, now I get it. Obviously,
last year was the equivalent of endgame for WWE. So
just like with the MCU, everything can't be in game

(01:42:58):
after n game, right, yeah, he.

Speaker 3 (01:43:03):
Well it was.

Speaker 8 (01:43:05):
There was rumors that like the scene that they the
scene of heel turn happened early, was supposed to happen
at WrestleMania, so it was supposed to be faced versus face.
And that makes a lot of sense because they didn't
even have these graphics ready for him until WrestleMania. He
comes out with just the black screen and just says
John Cena and that's it, which kind.

Speaker 9 (01:43:27):
Of says to me, they weren't ready for it when
it happened.

Speaker 8 (01:43:30):
By the way, did you catch the production lady in
the background kind of runs out after John Cena and
moves something and then it's behind a pole and thinks
she's out a camera, but she's not. She's still sitting there.
But like, I think that this was just so haphazard
thrown against the wall, like they should have said the rock.

Speaker 9 (01:43:51):
Wasn't gonna be there maybe or whatever. I mean, I
guess they never said that he would be there.

Speaker 5 (01:43:56):
He said he was not going to be a part
of WrestleMania.

Speaker 9 (01:43:59):
Yeah, but who believes that exactly?

Speaker 5 (01:44:01):
That's part of the problem.

Speaker 6 (01:44:03):
First used to be why too that no matter what
anybody would have said, we wouldn't believe it.

Speaker 2 (01:44:08):
Yeah, Remember, Trey was all about that rock wouldn't have
time to be a wrestleming of forty because he'll be
launching the USFL and XFL and he would have made
it and guess what he made it. So maybe Drey
should have kept talking about how the Rock wasn't gonna
have time to appeariod wrestleming forty one, and he probably
showed up despite him exactly.

Speaker 6 (01:44:30):
I was the one that was firmly in the camp
that he wasn't going to be a part of forty
and that motherfucker worked both nights.

Speaker 8 (01:44:36):
But now, like the soul stealing or soul selling makes
no sense, uh, Like why on earth is anyone afraid
of Travis Scott?

Speaker 9 (01:44:45):
Like why is he a threatened anyway physically? Like I
could see if it was like method Man maybe or something.

Speaker 8 (01:44:52):
He's built like a linebacker, but then he's also like
fifty something now, you know, Like but.

Speaker 9 (01:44:57):
It's like, why does Travis Scott spread?

Speaker 2 (01:45:02):
You know?

Speaker 9 (01:45:02):
Like, oh it was just a fucking mess. Uh? John
Cena call on spots as usual.

Speaker 8 (01:45:10):
Oh yeah, you know, he didn't think it was gonna
be omega Ocada.

Speaker 9 (01:45:14):
I don't think going into this, but.

Speaker 8 (01:45:16):
It was just slow and deliberate, and Michael Cole is
watching some other match because.

Speaker 9 (01:45:21):
He's saying, oh, the fans are booming Johnsana. No, they're
fucking not. The cheering for John Tanna.

Speaker 6 (01:45:27):
Right, every time he got off his they were cheering.

Speaker 9 (01:45:31):
It's just like, what the fuck? It was just a mess,
just a.

Speaker 11 (01:45:35):
Mess, you know, Like when I was thinking of Johnsena
getting his seventeenth you know, world title run, you know,
I think when he was getting to like thirteen, I
started to fantasize about it, like, oh, maybe he might
do it, you know, like maybe we'll do it. Maybe
they'll pull the trigger. And then, you know, for the
we had that huge gap where he didn't have, you know,

(01:45:57):
another world title.

Speaker 7 (01:45:58):
So I never thought it would happen. But in my
mind I saw it completely different.

Speaker 6 (01:46:03):
You know.

Speaker 7 (01:46:04):
Uh I didn't definitely didn't see Cody. I saw Rick
Flair having pardon it somehow. But this is years ago.
I thought about this, but not like this, not like this.

Speaker 11 (01:46:19):
You know, it is weird seeing Johnson to come out
just black shoes. He's got the black arm bands, he's
got black everything, and just the Georges you know, uh,
no colorful, Yeah, no, colorful fruity pebbles ship. Apparently we
bullied him into getting his bald spot fixed. So you know,

(01:46:41):
he got hair plugs just like Randy Orton did. Good
for him.

Speaker 2 (01:46:47):
Where does Randy have hair plugs.

Speaker 11 (01:46:48):
At Randy used? It was a long time ago he
got hair plugs in. It was right after around the
time after remember when he used to shave his head.

Speaker 2 (01:47:00):
Shave it like like shave it, shaved all the way
down like he started picking it.

Speaker 11 (01:47:07):
And then yeah, he got hair plugs in at one
point because they were really obvious. Uh you know an
HD TV man, I gotta find him anyway. Uh yeah,
I see all the spots Johnson is calling. Man, I'm
watching this this on mute. Yeah, you see him. It's
funny how you don't hear him as much as you

(01:47:28):
see them when you're watching it on mute. I'm just
seeing seeing it, just like just calling the whole fucking match.
Uh yeah, And Dre, you're right man. As soon as
seeing him get any kind of offense, the fucking you know,
the crowd loved it. Uh But yeah, dude, how about
like no, the thing with John seen it is every

(01:47:51):
year he would come out with his WrestleMania entrance would
be very unique.

Speaker 6 (01:47:55):
You know.

Speaker 7 (01:47:57):
Sometimes they'd be big and elaborate when he would main
event you know, WrestleMania. But this year, no, man, it's
just the down and dirty.

Speaker 11 (01:48:08):
Like I don't even remember if he uh, if he
had anything in the background, like his video packaging, Like
he just had like a black black screen.

Speaker 6 (01:48:17):
It was just a black screen that just said John Cena.

Speaker 11 (01:48:20):
Yeah, actually watch it now. Yeah, how about that? Like
that's totally.

Speaker 6 (01:48:26):
I think that works for his character. Now is a hell?

Speaker 2 (01:48:29):
I mean he does.

Speaker 9 (01:48:32):
He's starting to turn hell. I think because they weren't ready.
I think they rushed it.

Speaker 5 (01:48:36):
Yeah, I think, Yeah, I agree.

Speaker 6 (01:48:38):
I think the original plan probably was for this to
happen at WrestleMania, but they wound up pushing the schedule
forward and if the rockets to be believed based upon
his interview on the Pat McAfee show that Monday, which
apparently did not go over well, the decision was made

(01:48:59):
to a certain extent at the beheads of Ari Emmanuel,
who is the head of TKO, because, as the Rock claimed,
Ari em Manuel reached out to him because sales for
no Way Out, I mean not no Way Out Elimination
Chamber were I guess lagging or a bit below expectations,

(01:49:23):
so they needed something to boost the sales numbers.

Speaker 5 (01:49:26):
So supposedly, according.

Speaker 6 (01:49:28):
Again according to the Rock, Ari e Manuel reached out
to him asked the Rock to come in and help
boost the numbers, which led to the whole Cody, I
want your Soul segment, which in turn then led to okay, well,
if they're gonna do this, and Cody didn't want to
do the hill turn, then they pitched it to John

(01:49:49):
and John agreed. Then I guess to do the hill
turn now, as opposed to what was probably the original
pant of doing it at WrestleMania. And then now, well shit,
this is all moved up now, and now we gotta
scrabble and figure out. Okay, so seen as a hell,
now what's his interest is gonna look like? And all
this that and third now, now, so what's the WrestleMania

(01:50:09):
gonna look like? And then the Rock decides as he says,
let's make this all about John and Cody, keep it
focused on them. But and so he opted to not
participate in WrestleMania or do anything with WrestleMania because he
wanted the story to be focused on them, But motherfucker,
you're the rock.

Speaker 9 (01:50:30):
Yeah, now everyone's focused on you not being there.

Speaker 5 (01:50:33):
Right, You're the rock.

Speaker 6 (01:50:35):
This whole shit started because of you, this whole thing
the heel turned. You gave the signal to John to
turn heel. John didn't decide that himself. It was all
started because of you. And then for you to just
back out and not give any payoff on that, that

(01:50:55):
was a gross miscalculation on their part. I think it
was a miscalculation to do the hill turn so early. Yes,
it got people talking, Yes, it got buzzed. Yes, it
did help build up anticipation for this match, so it
accomplished that goal.

Speaker 5 (01:51:10):
But then you completely fumbled on the payoff.

Speaker 6 (01:51:14):
And in light of how they how, the fact that
they bungled the payoff, they they dropped the ball there,
it almost leads you to believe that they probably should
have just stuck with their original play.

Speaker 5 (01:51:25):
Yeah, kept a face on.

Speaker 6 (01:51:27):
Face and then do the Hill turn to wrestlemedia, because
at least then guess what we'd all be talking about now,
Guess where all the headlines would have been. John cedon
w was the seventeen title at WrestleMania turns heel.

Speaker 8 (01:51:37):
Yeah, and they could have still had a mediocre match
and it would have been fine because no one will
remember it, because no one will give a shit because
all they'd be talking about was John Cena and turning
Hill after the Yeah, right, that's what all the headlights
would be climax to the match maybe or whatever whatever
it happened, however it happened.

Speaker 6 (01:51:53):
Yeah, And you could have done John Cena Hill turn
without the rocket. He could have never been a part
of it, so we wouldn't have had that anticipation for
and the story would have been about Cody and Cina,
and those two could have easily built up hype for
their match just as babyfaces and just made it purely
about you know, competitiveness, And they could have still cut

(01:52:15):
harsh promos on each other, you know, you know, blurring
the lines a little bit, digging at each other a
little bit. Maybe not as viciously as they did it
as heels, but they could have still gone at each
other m And we could have had a big match
with two faces and a whole lot of hype, and
then that heel turn would have happened, and you know,

(01:52:36):
maybe one we would have been spared, fucking Travis Scott
wouldn't have to deal with that motherfucker, And yeah, h
all our clock right now would have been like, holy shit,
John Cena finally turned heel and that would have been
the lasting memory of WrestleMania instead of what it is now.

Speaker 7 (01:52:53):
Johnsena was smiling when Traviscock came out the way he
was smiling, it was like, you're so fucked Cody one
hundred and seventy pounds. Travis Scott's coming out to deal
with you.

Speaker 8 (01:53:04):
Yeah, the hard Why why would anyone be staring at
Travis Scott.

Speaker 7 (01:53:09):
I wonder if, like.

Speaker 5 (01:53:12):
At the ramp and started stopping his ass out.

Speaker 7 (01:53:14):
If like that was maybe what the Rock was supposed
to come out and do instead of Travis Scott. Like
it would have been way more of an impact if
the Rocks music would have hit instead of Travis Scott.

Speaker 6 (01:53:24):
And it would have been more impactful if the Rock
would have or if the Rock would have came out afterwards. Yeah, So, like,
like I knew Travis Scott was going to be involved
at some point because they kept talking about Cody was
gonna Cody saying he was going to get his receipt
back for you know, Travis slapping the ship out of
him elimination chamber. So I knew that that was probably
gonna happen at wrestle Mania, So I expected a Travis

(01:53:45):
Scott running. I just expected more beyond that.

Speaker 7 (01:53:51):
Yes, we expected more from you.

Speaker 6 (01:53:56):
We expected more from you, Paul that mad point. Yeah,
this is probably going to be remembered as when ranking WrestleManias,
this is definitely going to be in the bottom half.

Speaker 5 (01:54:10):
I think.

Speaker 6 (01:54:14):
It ain't the worst, but it's it ain't one of
the best either, And I don't even think it's going
to qualify as one of the goods. I think it's
going to be somewhere right in the middle or a
little bit at the and the lower half of WrestleManias.
There were some good matches in here, but overall this

(01:54:34):
was just a overall it's a disappointment. And then when
you factor in all the other things like the exsergs
ticket prices, the somewhat lower sales or lower than expected sales,
and all the other talk of all the other things
that they didn't have the greatest media week. But also,

(01:54:56):
like we said, this has been the money mania more
so than story. You know, you know, Becky taking Bailey's spot. Yeah,
I think people are not going to look back on this.
Wrestle Media remember it.

Speaker 11 (01:55:09):
Finally, Yeah, I have here, It says Wrestlingia forty one
drew a record breaking one hundred and twenty four and
ninety three fans across two nights at the stadium in
Las Vegas, making it the largest gate in WWE history.

Speaker 6 (01:55:27):
Allegedly.

Speaker 7 (01:55:28):
Yeah. The event was also the most viewed wrestling of
all time, with viewership up one and fourteen percent from
last year's WrestleMania record.

Speaker 6 (01:55:38):
Well, it's a relation of numbers.

Speaker 9 (01:55:40):
The ticket prices or suspense.

Speaker 6 (01:55:43):
Yeah dollars. Yeah, Dallas can always be attributed to absurdly higher,
much higher ticket prices. The viewing numbers that can be
attributed to the fact that, as they stated, this was
the first WrestleMania that was broadcast simultaneously around the world,
as opposed to I guess in the past it may

(01:56:04):
have been staggered out in the past depending on platform
or location. This one was broadcast at the same time
around the world to everyone Peacock in the US or
well because of their deal with Netflix, so outside of
the US, it aired on Netflix around the world at

(01:56:24):
the exact time, same time. So of course those streaming
when you do pull that off, Yes, your streaming numbers
are going to be unprecedentedly higher than before.

Speaker 8 (01:56:35):
But it's like, I don't want to hear about how
much money you made when you're giving me a shitty
main event.

Speaker 6 (01:56:41):
Yeah, you know, yeah, nobody wants to hear about how
much money you made when the show itself was lacking.
And nobody wants to hear about how much money you
made when all the stories going into it have been
How much more expensive everything is that this year.

Speaker 2 (01:57:01):
That's interesting that you guys are really shitting on this match.
I mean because I'm just looking at my notes and
I'm like, like, overall, I give this WrestleMania combined like
Night one, Night two like a B minus, right, am
I to me, my favorite night ended up being Night
two for you know, EO actually retaining Dom winning. You know,

(01:57:27):
we got the surprise of Joe Hendry in there and
which we never thought would actually happen. They and I
was actually you know, even though we all probably saw
it coming, but John Cena winning. But it's just like
the whole, like the whole trajectory of where this is gone.

(01:57:49):
You know, John Cena hadn't won a pay per view
or singles match or a title or anything for like
since twenty eighteen something like that. So to actually have
him actually win the seventy title that he's been trying
to win for the past seven eight ish years and

(01:58:10):
to only happen because he sold his soul to the Rock,
I think it was pretty good. Like the match itself
is terrible, but the storyline to me, over the overall
build of the character of John Cena and how he
has just allowed to get a seventy title, I think
it's a little bit more of a payoff of this match.

(01:58:31):
That's just right.

Speaker 5 (01:58:33):
I hear what you're saying.

Speaker 6 (01:58:34):
I do.

Speaker 5 (01:58:35):
I hear what you're saying, but I can't.

Speaker 6 (01:58:38):
I don't know if we can still run with the
storyline that he sold his soul to the Rock where
we haven't seen the Rock since the Elimination Chamber and yeah,
and not even really yeah, and I even brought up
that just seems like just a dropped plot thread. There's
been no follow up since then. And and I'm not

(01:58:59):
saying that the WrestleMania was all bad now I know,
means whatsoever Yeah. To me, the best match of the
entire show was EO Skot Bianca and Ripley and rear
Ripley in the triple threat. To me, that was the
best match of both knights. That was a standout and
like we talked before, probably arguably one of the greatest

(01:59:19):
women's matches in WrestleMania history.

Speaker 5 (01:59:22):
Definitely, that was a great moment.

Speaker 6 (01:59:24):
Dominic mysterio win in an IC title to a huge
pop from the fans.

Speaker 5 (01:59:28):
Great moment, Joe Hendry, great moment.

Speaker 6 (01:59:34):
That's probably it from night I mean, Becky Lynch returning
getting the pop, I didn't you know, didn't move the
needle for me, but I know it's a It was
a good moment, but that moment to me has been
kind of ruined by how they booked it since then
and no, and also because it came at the expense
of Bailey, so.

Speaker 5 (01:59:54):
That moment is a is a negative for me.

Speaker 6 (01:59:59):
Night one obviously, jay Usso becoming World Heavyweight Champion, great moment.
M Jacob Patu, we are becoming us champion, great moment,
and the main event was a great moment, was great.
That's it.

Speaker 2 (02:00:17):
I mean two nights, I got fourteen matches, six matches
or six moments if you like the whole matches out
of fourteen, that's a little bit.

Speaker 9 (02:00:28):
Throw the TLC on there.

Speaker 2 (02:00:30):
Yeah, you definitely should have thrown there.

Speaker 8 (02:00:35):
I think you canna make a pretty good one one
night card out of this weekend.

Speaker 2 (02:00:40):
Yeah, you could have had eight matches on one and
for both nights. Get those those The TLC I think
for sure needed to be on there. If you're gonna
have the Raw Tag Team Championship, you gotta have the
Smike down Tach Team Championship if you even like, why
do you bother to create the US title for the
women's or the IC title for the women if they're

(02:01:01):
not going to go on there and actually defend them.

Speaker 6 (02:01:03):
Yeah yeah, yeah, I mean yeah, the Raw Tag Team
match just did not need to happen. Like WrestleMania, There
was no reason for that match to be on the card,
especially in light of the TLC match.

Speaker 9 (02:01:20):
Game. That's why that match happened a WrestleMania.

Speaker 6 (02:01:22):
Yeah, yeah, because people with money paid. Yeah, that's wrestling,
not at all, Not at all. And if the concern
was that we don't want the TC match to potentially
overshadow the main event, I don't know if I believe
that per se, because that's never been a fear before. Like, yeah,

(02:01:48):
you know, they weren't worried about you know, TLC from
wrestleming in seventeen overshadowing Stole Cold in the Rock. Mm hmm,
So why would they be worried about street profits? D
I Y and MotorCity machine Guns overshadowing Cody Rose and
John Cena or seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and see him

(02:02:09):
punk to me that that that argument doesn't make sense.
It just seemed to scream completely a money decision. And
like you said, Doll, that's not that's not the good way.
That's not a proper way to run a company. If
you're putting money ahead of the product.

Speaker 9 (02:02:30):
It's gonna catch eventually.

Speaker 6 (02:02:32):
Yeah, that's not a good sign and it doesn't bode well.

Speaker 8 (02:02:37):
But I mean, yeah, if this wasn't a vacuum whatever,
But it's not, because it's all this advertising all over everything,
and it's commercial after commercial after, you know, and it's
clearly becoming just a money making adventure and not a
entertain me venture.

Speaker 6 (02:02:54):
Now, the only question I would the only thing I
could remotely say, maybe n W W e's defense is
that this might be coming from above them. This could
some of the stuff could be t KO decisions being
forced upon w w E. Sure that obviously they have
a parent company and a boss above them that they

(02:03:14):
do have to answer to.

Speaker 9 (02:03:16):
Yeah, that's that. Yeah, that's them now though.

Speaker 6 (02:03:22):
But yeah, but yeah, I'm not saying that. Yeah, I'm
not saying that to let WWE off the hook. But
that could be a not too well voting sign of
the future. M h So, I think there's some other
stories that have come out since then that also are
not really hope inspiring. I have to think I saw

(02:03:47):
our beloved story about our beloved music producers deef Rebel.

Speaker 5 (02:03:51):
Apparently now they are.

Speaker 6 (02:03:54):
Set to start doing entrance music for UFC nowt anymore. Yeah,
as opposed to you know, normally in the past UFC
guys came out to licensed music. Apparently now us deaf
Rebel will be making music for them in a cost

(02:04:15):
cutting measure maneuver from t k O, again putting money
ahead of the product.

Speaker 7 (02:04:24):
Mm hmm, Well, gentlemen, I guess that wraps upstating night
review see.

Speaker 6 (02:04:35):
The Summer Slam and they're forty thousand dollars front seats.

Nice easyunk options.

Speaker 7 (02:08:36):
Something fun fact. In twenty ten, John Cena beat Cody Roads.

Speaker 11 (02:08:45):
In twenty thirteen, John Cena beat Cody Roads. In twenty
fifteen as when he was Stardust, John Cena beat Cody Roads,
and in twenty twenty five seen it yet again.

Speaker 7 (02:09:02):
Rhodes. I saw that little stat like before WrestleMania, and
I was like, yeah, man, they're on something.

Speaker 6 (02:09:15):
Like I said, I'm sure Cody will get that final
victory over John Cena before it's all said and done,
because even though Sena is the champion now, as I
said in our pre show, uh in our Wrestlemated preview,
I do think Cody is gonna be the one to
take the title off of John Cena.

Speaker 2 (02:09:35):
Now, is this before he goes here or we? I
mean face.

Speaker 6 (02:09:41):
Think I think it's gonna be your baby face Sina,
I mean our baby face Cody. I don't. I don't
think Cody's gonna come back turn heel and you know,
defeat a heel Sena or out hel Sina. I think
Sina will still be a heel doing whatever Cody will
come back as a babyface. Given how these fick glass

(02:10:05):
fucking fans have been acting in twenty twenty five, He'll
see how they react to it.

Speaker 5 (02:10:10):
But the only way I can see, the only way
I can see.

Speaker 6 (02:10:14):
Cody coming back and winning the championship as a heel
is if the fans just flat out boo the fuck
out of him.

Speaker 5 (02:10:22):
Is if he comes back to challenge John.

Speaker 6 (02:10:24):
Cena and it is blatantly clear and obvious that the
crowd is pro Sena and anti Cody, and then which
forces WWE force the creative to have to pivot and
somehow turn Cody into the heel and revert Sena back
to a babyface sooner than they expect, and have Cody

(02:10:46):
become the heel champion. That's the only way I see
it happen. But other than that, no, Sena will still
be the heel. Cody will be the face returning to
save wrestling, to save the belt from being retired by Cina.

Speaker 7 (02:11:06):
Mm hmmmm, I got one more thing I want to
talk to you guys about news. I don't know if
you guys saw this anywhere on social media. Eric Bischoff
and Hulk Hogan are teasing a mystery third man.

Speaker 11 (02:11:21):
For their new project. Their new project is going to
be it seems it might be a podcast, so that
they said. Eric Bischoff says, this is so badass. You
people know who we are, we have You have no
idea what we're about. We're back, Hulkster, we are so back.

(02:11:43):
And Hogan said, we changed the world one time, but
now we're here to wake them up. We're here to
slice and dice the world of wrestling, and you're not
gonna know what hit you. Regarding the mystery third man,
Bischoff said, should we talk about the his credentials? Should
we talk about all of his championships?

Speaker 7 (02:12:04):
Should we talk about the world class athletes that he
has brought to the very top of this point? Should
we talk about that?

Speaker 6 (02:12:12):
No, not yet.

Speaker 7 (02:12:15):
Do you guys have any idea who it could be?

Speaker 11 (02:12:18):
The only other person I think this podcast swabi is
Kevin Nash, But I don't think he's.

Speaker 7 (02:12:24):
The third man. I mean, he has won.

Speaker 2 (02:12:26):
Kevin Nash probably would not want to be anywhere near
l Cogan because of the whole Trump thing, and that
would probably just pissed the Money'll probably actually try to
jackknife power Bottom somewhere, so like who who we.

Speaker 7 (02:12:42):
Think it could be the third man for the show
and who gets along with these guys.

Speaker 6 (02:12:46):
Still, for the purposes of full disclosure, let me first
things first say that I give zero fus about whatever
the fuck Ul Hogan and Eric Binshoff we're about to do.
But if we're gonna speculate about who the third person
would be and all that stuff, I would guess Rick.

Speaker 7 (02:13:06):
Flair, Oh shit, that would be.

Speaker 2 (02:13:11):
If actually keep his attention for that long, because not
even the son in law, Conrad, could obtain Rick to
actually record his episodes for his podcast.

Speaker 6 (02:13:22):
But I mean, if they're gonna talk about, you know
who the third person is, and we talked about all
the championships they've won in all the world class YadA YadA, Like,
if they're gonna put that type of hype behind a
third man quote unquote, who would it be?

Speaker 5 (02:13:34):
That would be?

Speaker 6 (02:13:35):
That would warrant that one would possibly do it And
to be a name worthy of that level of hype
to even remotely give a shit about the only.

Speaker 5 (02:13:46):
Person I could think it would be Rick Flair.

Speaker 7 (02:13:48):
That's that's wild, because think of the wild not just
the wild stories or three of them are gonna tell
but like the fact that none of it is gonna
either be true or it's just wild fucking bullshit.

Speaker 11 (02:13:59):
I'm just I'm gonna keep my ear to the ground
because I want to know. Because Hogan just says the
wildest ship nowadays, and Bischoff, anytime he gets cornered, he
just goes, oh, I it was so long ago, I
don't remember it, uh do. I used to listen to
Bischoff's podcast all the time. Anytime he got like cornered
with a question, he would just you know, play old

(02:14:20):
man so. And then Rick Flair is fucking senile at
this point, so anything that man fucking says is fucking
hilarious to me.

Speaker 2 (02:14:28):
What it was Goldberg?

Speaker 6 (02:14:32):
That what?

Speaker 11 (02:14:37):
I don't know, But Goldberg pulls me enough to like
want to listen to him. Does he sound like a
personality for even a fucking podcast.

Speaker 6 (02:14:47):
I don't know, episode for an ongoing podcast, if that's
what this is, I don't I couldn't see him doing
an ongoing thing.

Speaker 7 (02:14:56):
True, an episode, yes, ongoing? No, that's an other thing.
You're right, longevity, this isn't just one episode till one
of these passes away.

Speaker 6 (02:15:07):
And also given that if if Goldberg is set to
be back on WWE television anytime soon. I highly doubt
ww is gonna want him doing something that they don't
have control over. With Bischoff and Hogan, I.

Speaker 7 (02:15:24):
Totally forgot to argue with Doyle about the whole Goldberg situation.
That's cool, it's cool.

Speaker 2 (02:15:31):
The stok that two more weeks until you have to
do the back Latch previews, so put a pin on it.

Speaker 6 (02:15:38):
Right, We will have plenty of time to talk about
Gunter for Backlash.

Speaker 7 (02:15:44):
Do you guys want to talk about You want to
talk about Raw? Like the after Mania?

Speaker 11 (02:15:49):
How it was the role I wish I fucking went to.
You know last year my voice was shot, dude.

Speaker 5 (02:15:58):
After Mania was better than both nights of WrestleMania.

Speaker 7 (02:16:02):
Okay, so we're we're talking versus Stephanie Valkyre.

Speaker 6 (02:16:10):
Stephanie Vicaire VICTI.

Speaker 7 (02:16:12):
Yeah, So, I mean that was a great fucking match.
And I mean, like they they've the past like two weeks,
they've had NXT Superstars, the Champions on the show and
they've been put on hell of a match.

Speaker 6 (02:16:28):
Well officially now Roxanne Perez and Julia are on Raw.
They've officially they've been called up now so they're their
main roster now. Finally Stephanie Vicuaer obviously still the NXT champions.
So yes, it is kind of surprising that they've had
her work matches the last two weeks on Raw. Like
I said with EO nine one, which I'm surprised they

(02:16:50):
let them work as long as they did. I thought
it was gonna be like, you know, some quick tease
match but not give anything away, and we were gonna
get a quick run in, but now they let them
go for at least two or three segments before we
got the run in from uh Julia and roxa band.
And then this past week she got to work a
full on, a full length match with uh.

Speaker 7 (02:17:15):
Yeah yeah, so we we got that. We got.

Speaker 11 (02:17:22):
We got a little bit further in the story of
Logan Paul, I mean at Logan Paul carrying cross and
a j styles, we got Gunter, uh you know, uh
beating the ship out of choking out Pat McVie, making
Michael Colmos fucking piss himself and then tell people, you.

Speaker 7 (02:17:41):
Know, I want to get back to work because I'm
not afraid of bullies.

Speaker 9 (02:17:47):
Uh.

Speaker 11 (02:17:47):
We we had Dominic versus Penta, which for the Icy
title and you know what, as much as I thought
like this is gonna be you know, Dom could easily
lose this, you know, real quick, and no, I was
like some sneaky, sneaky and you got the pin in.
I was like, all right, let's keep this gone man
like some if let's go for a lengthy I see title.

Speaker 7 (02:18:11):
Run with with Dom, I'm all for it.

Speaker 2 (02:18:13):
This so.

Speaker 11 (02:18:16):
Yeah, you know, retained with a frog splash. We had
the the fallout of Finn and Dom. Apparently it's just
water under the bridge, you know.

Speaker 7 (02:18:28):
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

Speaker 4 (02:18:31):
Uh.

Speaker 11 (02:18:33):
And then we uh, we get Seth Rollins coming out
with you know, we we get him coming out with
Paul Haymon. Uh, and then we get see him Punk
comes out, and then we get Roman Reins.

Speaker 7 (02:18:51):
We get all these guys back in this ring again.
And well.

Speaker 6 (02:19:00):
He got his ass, well he did get came out,
got the upper hand on Seth, Superman punched Paul Yeah, yeah, yeah,
ready for Ready for the spear and then Seth.

Speaker 7 (02:19:14):
Yeah, I like how Seth beat down Punk and then
he threw him out the ring before Roman got in.
But yeah, it's.

Speaker 11 (02:19:21):
It was just it was just so happening so quickly
that I was kind I was very much caught off
guard by this man in a hoodie who speared the
ship out of Roman Reins. There's not many people I've
seen spear the ship.

Speaker 7 (02:19:32):
Out of Roman Rains.

Speaker 11 (02:19:33):
You know, I've seen I've seen Goldberg face, you know,
Roman Reigns. You know I've seen edge face, Roman Reins, Ah,
Bobby Lashley, but you know spear Wise, that nasty.

Speaker 6 (02:19:48):
Hit hard.

Speaker 5 (02:19:50):
I immediately thought Rhinos Back.

Speaker 2 (02:19:54):
Would be that size, right right.

Speaker 7 (02:19:58):
Right, Oh, I gloss over the whole beginning half of RAW.
I'm sorry. We also got the We talked about it earlier,
how the tag titles swapped hands again. They went back
to to to Lyra and Lilah Lyra and Becky lost

(02:20:19):
the titles and went back to live in Raquel. And
then that's when we got the heel turned from Becky,
which was awful. I thought it was awful because just
laid there like, stop kicking me.

Speaker 1 (02:20:35):
I looked up to you, like, bitch, fight back, aren't
you the icy feel sad for you just sitting there
wearing an ass whooping when you feel like she crippled
you or anything.

Speaker 6 (02:20:46):
You are perfectly capable of standing up and fighting back. Yeah,
you're just emotionally crippled now, and you're just gonna wear
this ass whooping like.

Speaker 7 (02:20:55):
We Uh. We also got the Alpha canon was in
the ring. Uh and I forgure who who are they
in the ring with alf Academy. There was some heel taxic.
Oh new day, I think there's the new Day. But
then we get before the match starts, we had the
lights go out and then we get fucking erusive, and.

Speaker 13 (02:21:17):
Man, I'll tell you what because I I you know,
I saw a little bit of him in a w
but you know, it kind of fell out a little
exactly a little bit.

Speaker 7 (02:21:28):
He was injured a lot, right or he wasn't on
the rock the car. Yeah.

Speaker 11 (02:21:33):
So but he looks great, man, he looks physically, he
looks fucking phenomenal. He cut a promo was it yet?

Speaker 7 (02:21:42):
Was this role? Yeah?

Speaker 9 (02:21:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (02:21:46):
It was a pretty.

Speaker 7 (02:21:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (02:21:50):
Yeah, I'm going he's you know, he's gonna not gonna
be flying the flag that he used to have to
fly when when you know his former his older gimmick.

Speaker 7 (02:21:59):
Now he's gonna be flying the was it the Bulgarian flag?

Speaker 6 (02:22:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (02:22:06):
Mentioned Yeah, he mentions him He's like at one point,
like I rote into WrestleMania on.

Speaker 11 (02:22:12):
A tank and like, you know, thinking back, like Russef
was like undefeated, you know, and then he got his
hands in the United States title, and you know he's right, man.
I always thought when he faced seen at WrestleMania, he
should have gone over as a heel, like he would
have retained that title and then his career have kept
going and Sena could have taken that l It did

(02:22:35):
that w did nothing for Sina, nothing, but it gave us.

Speaker 2 (02:22:39):
That whole open challenge us run. But like I was
when I got this one for thirty five, I had
also mentioned that this really didn't help out.

Speaker 5 (02:22:53):
Russev.

Speaker 2 (02:22:54):
Yeah, because he was so hot with Russev Day and
he came out with a tank and all this other stuff.
He had all this pop and circumstance, and then you
have him lose to some guy I think at this
point he was was he still at fifteen? Yeah, Johnsen
is still stuck on the is around sixteen titles, So

(02:23:15):
I'm like, why would you have him come back and
win that title and then like the US title. Yeah,
it gave it some type of you know, gave us
some entertaining runs, and I guess it built up the
prestige a little bit more, but it completely tanked whatever
we saw happening with Russev at that point.

Speaker 5 (02:23:35):
Look what all that prestige did for the US title.

Speaker 7 (02:23:37):
Now highlight though it was the opener of the show.
Scena comes out, I mean, you know, right away, great
way to start to kick off Monday night or off
scene him music comes out, you know.

Speaker 11 (02:23:55):
He explains that he's been told that his announcement was disrespectful,
and that he tells the ring announcer and introduce him
as John as the greatest of all time, the never
that never seen seventeen, gracing Las Vegas with his presence
for the last time, the last real champion.

Speaker 7 (02:24:16):
John Cena. It's a fucking mouthful, but I do like
they never seen seventeen.

Speaker 2 (02:24:25):
I like that he hands notes to the ring announcer.
Yeah right, that was like the third time he just
handed one over, like and he's like, just read this,
and then you know.

Speaker 7 (02:24:36):
We get the asshole chance and he says the most
like goofiest Like I laugh when he said it.

Speaker 11 (02:24:43):
You know, I might be an anis, but we're idiots.
And he's gotten back up from our best shots. Every
time he calls, he said he's an anis he couldn't
say ass.

Speaker 7 (02:24:58):
Asshole he has. I guess that's John Cena.

Speaker 2 (02:25:01):
He's being height tidy John Cena.

Speaker 11 (02:25:05):
Yeah, he says, uh, what I did really like. He
mentions the tour dates that he has left. He says,
I have thirty six days, and he goes through them
all right, And as he's going through these days that
he's been at, the counter is counting down. We're going
down from thirty six days. Now we're down to twenty seven.

(02:25:27):
It's not matches, its appearances.

Speaker 5 (02:25:30):
We seek.

Speaker 7 (02:25:32):
Yeah, we say he can't wrestle, he doesn't have to,
and then that number hits zero.

Speaker 11 (02:25:38):
He's done. He's taking the title with him. Oh we'll
get a new title belt, but he'll take that one
home with all of his history.

Speaker 6 (02:25:48):
I think that was a good move to as far
as them like actually putting a number on the dates,
because now people are going to track that for the
rest of the year. I know, right, I love it.
Roll was twenty assuming that Raw was twenty seven. He
didn't appear on SmackDown this pH. He did appear on
SmackDown Y Friday. Yeah, that would have been twenty six.

(02:26:11):
He was back on Raw this yesterday, right, yeah, why
is it? Yeah? Yeah, Kim and Rady went freaking at
each other. That was Friday spack down when they went
at each other.

Speaker 2 (02:26:22):
Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah they went Monday before last
week is when he snuck up by him and did
last night.

Speaker 6 (02:26:29):
No, he wasn't, no seen, It was not on Raw
last night, so it was just Friday. So Friday was
twenty six.

Speaker 7 (02:26:35):
Okay, yeah. He says, all yes to you now is
play us and the best chance we have to save
us was Cody Rhodes. But last night he was outshine, outclassed,
out wrestled, and flat out destroyed. It's time for us
to look in the mirror as I do every day
because I'm hot as hell Johnny, and realize that nobody

(02:26:58):
in that locker rooms the strength, speed of ruthless aggression
as John Cena.

Speaker 11 (02:27:06):
But unlike us, he has a heart and he'd like
to do something nice. He asked the crowd to get
out their cameras because they're gonna want to remember this moment.
He holds up the title so that they can get
a picture of the last real champ and out of nowhere,
Randy Orton gives him an RKO. Orton holds up the

(02:27:27):
title before placing on John Cena's unconscious body and posing.

Speaker 7 (02:27:32):
In the turnbuckles. What a great role. You know, it
was just the opening of RAW. I kind of went
all over the place backwards for whatever. But I am
excited for this backlash feud between Sena and Orton. You know,
I recall a Backlash long ago. I wish I could

(02:27:58):
remember when it was. Now this is when Orton's a
heel seen as a face, and I believe Orton is
the champ at the time. As soon as that bell rings,
or In slaps the shit out of the ref and
he immediately gets disqualified and Johnson like los his title shot.
Like I thought that was clever shit at the time.

Speaker 11 (02:28:20):
I think being years removed at Backlash yet again, and
these guys are in roles reversed, title isn't separate in
the opposite hand, even funny shit if Sina would do
that to slap the shit out of the ref.

Speaker 7 (02:28:36):
Soon as that Matt starts de cute. Yeah, we got
the build up for this match, but now it's they
might they could drag out the summer slam. But I
don't know.

Speaker 6 (02:28:46):
That would not be funny. It would be it would
be ironic. Yes, it would be storytelling. It would infuriate
the fun out.

Speaker 5 (02:28:52):
Of everybody, not me.

Speaker 7 (02:28:54):
I mean you, I guess I think so.

Speaker 6 (02:28:57):
You really you think it wouldn't you tell me? You're
sitting at home Saturday night, what are you watching? They
just going into the main event. It's eleven o'clock at night.
You're ready for this main event? Ran New York and
John Cena for the last time that bell rings, he
slops the ship out of him.

Speaker 2 (02:29:14):
Matches over, ship out of the ref, and the matches.

Speaker 6 (02:29:18):
Right, slap out of the ref, matches over, and then
that's the end of the show.

Speaker 2 (02:29:23):
They can't do that anymore. If they do, they can
pull that off if it was there was Vince only
like if they were independent and I had to answer
to Ari or any one of their sponsors or.

Speaker 6 (02:29:38):
Press conference that they hold after all these.

Speaker 9 (02:29:40):
P l e s.

Speaker 2 (02:29:42):
But yeah, they that some you're gonna have to you
don't have to erase that from your for your mad
libs of fantasy booking pin because I don't think that's
ever gonna come back.

Speaker 11 (02:29:53):
I know it's not but like could you imagine though,
like just the callback, Like, you know, I have no
idea what year that was. But but anyway, I still
at the end of the day, like these two.

Speaker 7 (02:30:04):
Guys are very very close in and you know, achievements
in the career, both money in the bank winners, both
Royal Rumble winners, multiple money in the bank, multiple rumble winners,
multiple you know. You know, Sina held the nice States title,
Orton was an intercontinental title.

Speaker 11 (02:30:26):
Did Wharton hold the Nicetys title ever? And if he did,
maybe he only held it once, but I don't think
he did. These guys both held various versions of the
tag titles. They've held undisputed titles, you know, two titles
at once. They even fought for two titles and Orton

(02:30:47):
came out on top. Last time I think that's the
last time they fought was when they emerged both titles together.

Speaker 6 (02:30:56):
Yeah, Like obviously their careers are paralleled each other, you know,
neck and neck. You know, they they could easily be
an episode of w WEE Rivals and you know, there
will probably be a documentary done about Sena and Orton
the way they've done you know, Rock and Stone Cold, YadA, YadA,
they'll forever be linked together. Unfortunately, as much as people

(02:31:22):
are looking forward to seeing this match, and I'm looking
forward to seeing them again or seeing this match, but
really only for the purpose of just seeing Sena and
Orton one last time, because we know we know Orton's
not winning, and the match itself, I hope they can

(02:31:43):
pull off a good match and really make even if
the outcome is going to be predictable, I hope the
match itself is memorable and good. I'm somewhat nervous about
that because one thing I have noticed that I will
I wanted to touch on during the WrestleMania song. But
one thing I've noticed with seen of this year, he's

(02:32:06):
obviously working matches and working stuff. He's been working very
safely this year and for it to be his last year,
and you know, going out, you can tell he's still
definitely playing it safe so that he won doesn't injure
himself and put any of his Hollywood obligations at risk,

(02:32:27):
but also so that he doesn't injure himself and put
the rest of this year at risk, because he obviously
wants to be able to work all the dates and
work all the matches that they probably have mapped out
for him for this year. And if he you know,
goes too hard in a match and injures himself, especially
if god forbid, it's a significant injury like an a

(02:32:48):
like an ACL or something like that that puts him
out for the remainder of the year, then all this
goes to waste. And you've seen that in the matches
that he's works. Like I said, he's been playing it
very very safe in these matches. He's not really taking
as many bumps as he would think he would take,

(02:33:09):
and a lot of his offense is very safe. It's
the best way I can describe me. He's been working
very safe in these matches.

Speaker 7 (02:33:19):
I mean, for a guy who has to who's going
to hold onto the title this long to be even
in the main event, to be a person who even
holds the titles a lot of responsibility.

Speaker 11 (02:33:31):
But for you know, where his position is, like you know,
after this, he's got to go back to work. He's
going to go back to acting, and it's like I
can't get hurt.

Speaker 6 (02:33:41):
Yeah, I mean, like I said, that's what and especially
in as plays, why he's been working so safety, like
I said, because he has his Hollywood obligations, not just Postmania,
but Hollywood obligations throughout this year. Yeah, and then like
and he also has to maintain the he has maintained

(02:34:01):
itself for the sake of this remaining for the his
WWE dates this year.

Speaker 7 (02:34:07):
So check this out. Oka ESPN just dropped tweet. Actually,
EASTPN projects John Cena's final matches in ww This is
just them guessing. John Cena defeats Randy Orton at Backlash
in May. Jay Uso defeats John Cena to retain the

(02:34:31):
World Heavyweight title at Money in the Bank in June.
John Cena defeats Sampunk at Saturday Night Main Event. In July,
John Cena and Travis Scott defeat Cody Rhoads and Bad
Bunny at SummerSlam.

Speaker 9 (02:34:48):
August.

Speaker 11 (02:34:51):
Joe Hendry defeats John Cena via d Q at TNA
Victory Road. September, John Cena defeats seth Rons and Roman
Reigns at Crown Jewel in November, and last, Cody Rose
defeats Johnson to become the undispeated champion at Saturday Night
Main Event in December.

Speaker 2 (02:35:14):
Saturday Night's Main Event.

Speaker 7 (02:35:16):
That's why I keeps saying, why why is why do
we have to go.

Speaker 9 (02:35:21):
What?

Speaker 6 (02:35:22):
Well, a couple of those matches are obviously bullshit because one,
jay Uso defeating Johnson and to retain the World Heavyweight Championship, No,
why what makes no fucking sense whatsoever lose his title
to you know what I mean, like right or unless
they think, unless they're thinking that's gonna be like a unification,
like Johnson is gonna try to unify both belts. So

(02:35:44):
he takes it all home, which makes no sense because
he's talking about taking home this belt because of its
legacy and all the champions that have held it in
the past. This World Heavyweight Championship that jay Usu has
has no legacy. It's not a call to Big Goal.
It's not a call back to the old World Heavyweight Championship.

(02:36:05):
It's just seth uh, seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest, Gunter,
and jay Usso that's it. That's all legacy it has.
So it makes no sense for Senia to go after
that belt. So that match makes no sense. Cody defeating
John C. Sena at the end of the year at

(02:36:25):
Saturday Night made event makes no sense because haven't we
one don't we already know that like the last for
all of the year or something like that's gonna be
in Boston or something like that.

Speaker 2 (02:36:36):
Yeah, I thought that's what they were aiming to have him.

Speaker 6 (02:36:39):
Yeah, yeah, So I don't I don't see his last
match being a Saturday. Well I won't say that. I could,
in theory, see his last match being a Saturday and
they made an event if w W really cares, or
if NBC Universal pushes w W to make the Saturday

(02:37:00):
Night main event shows something worth tuning in too, because
right now they've just been glorified showcases with no real
value or stakes. If the NBC Universal pushes ww to
say like, hey, look, stop giving us these glorified bullshit
showcase shows and give us something that's actually worth putting

(02:37:22):
on television, something that's actually worth it is gonna draw ratings,
then I could see them maybe doing that for the
end of the year and really building it up John
Cena's last match on Saturday Night main Event, and that's
where you tune it in, and that could potentially draw
a huge number for NBC. Sure, I can see that,

(02:37:44):
but that match is also not gonna happen with John
Cena as a heel either, So unless Cody was to
come back and turn Hell before then, and then John
Cena has his last match as a babyface defending the title,
which he loses. Maybe Also don't see John Cena going
out on a loss either. I don't think that's how

(02:38:04):
they wanted him to win. To end or you know,
his final WW match. I think it's gonna be a
match that he has with somebody. He wins, his music
plays out, he goes out celebrating with the fans in
his final goodbye. So it's not gonna be a title match.
Like I said, I think he drops the title well

(02:38:25):
before that. I think he'll probably stay at Hell, drop
the title to baby If he can remain a he'll
he'll drop the title to Babyface returning Cody Rhodes, and
then he may go away and then come back as
a baby face. Maybe the face turn happens in that match,
Like it's a good enough match where the fans cheer

(02:38:46):
him again afterwards, and then he comes back, does his
final couple of days as a babyface, gets the adulation
of the fans and goes out to big celebration. I
could see a triple threat happening between what they say
Senor Roman and.

Speaker 5 (02:39:04):
Who crowns Crown?

Speaker 7 (02:39:08):
Yeah, I see that.

Speaker 5 (02:39:10):
I could maybe see it. I could see the saut
he's paying for that, pay for anything.

Speaker 6 (02:39:18):
Yeah, you're definitely gonna get definitely getting seem Punk versus Johnsena.
That match is definitely happening when I don't know if
it's gonna be Saturday night main event. I could see
it maybe being a money in the bank match at
the main event of that show.

Speaker 2 (02:39:35):
Ye clearly used AI even though they probably don't want
to admit it, because only a I would come up
with that those type of match.

Speaker 11 (02:39:44):
That's so like, how the fuck do we get to
Jay Huso versus Johnson? Like come on, man, Like where
are we getting to haffle these It's such a short
amount of time, Like even I we can't write these
kind of stories.

Speaker 2 (02:39:57):
It wouldn't make no sense, Like Dre just put it
out or laid out for us. So, yeah, I did
want to like come back to some things here. Yeah,
Randy did win one time, the US Championship. Oh and
then the second thing, I mistakenly said wrestling a thirty

(02:40:19):
five for the Tank and John Cena beating us. That
was wrestling a thirty one, right one, So ten years
ago I thought.

Speaker 7 (02:40:31):
Or in healthy Nicies title. I knew it was like
only one time, but because I was like, oh, now
he's a true Grand Slam champion.

Speaker 6 (02:40:39):
Yeah, so, oh he's not a Grand Slam champion because
he's not a Speed champion. Sorry, he was a.

Speaker 2 (02:40:48):
Grand Slam champion before, and now he has to go
around for it again to get the Speed Championship.

Speaker 7 (02:40:57):
Well, I remember Travis Scott also holds the Hardcore Championship apparently.

Speaker 6 (02:41:02):
And you know he doesn't that's not a real championship
or needs.

Speaker 11 (02:41:07):
Or needs to go over to NXT when that title.
You know, let's talk about SmackDown. Sena Orton prepared for
one last legendary encounter U S. Norton kickoff SmackDown on Friday,
and the conversation got into a bizarre start when Orton
was chalking up Seena's sour attitude to a lack of

(02:41:28):
maturity irony in that Orton claimed that having children would
open seen his eyes. Seen It retorted by.

Speaker 7 (02:41:35):
Claiming that he was too busy raising the ww fans
kids for the last twenty five years.

Speaker 11 (02:41:42):
And then that's when I said fair because I was
one of them. The most amusing part of the segment
came after Sena betrayed a six year old fan for
allegedly flipping him off. Once they moved on from Parenthood,
Seen It promised to retire as Undie Speed WW champion forever,

(02:42:04):
trapping Orton as a fourteen time world title champion. Seen
his logic is flawed considering WW has two recognized world titles.
Orton challenged Sena to a match, which Sena accepted under
the condition in which it takes place at Backlash.

Speaker 7 (02:42:25):
The champion dropped Orton with a cheap shot, but the
viper came out on top with an r KAO. Also
what happened?

Speaker 11 (02:42:34):
I just mentioned the other matches and stuff On SmackDown,
Faxium Phraxium defeated Los Garza, Angel and Berto. Tiffany Stratton
versus Jade Cargole ended into a note contest after Naomi
that horrible spot name we had with Jade and attacked

(02:42:58):
and then uh, Nijack's also returned. We were wondering for
a while, like, where the fuck was Nijack's at. Guess
she had some time off.

Speaker 2 (02:43:08):
She had lots of time to work on her roast material.

Speaker 7 (02:43:12):
Yeah, solo.

Speaker 11 (02:43:15):
Socoa claimed responsibility for Jacob Fattou's success, drawing a volatile
reaction from the new United States Champion. Women's United States
Champion Selena Vega defeated Chelsea Green.

Speaker 7 (02:43:34):
Well.

Speaker 11 (02:43:35):
Chelsea Green was defeated by Selena Vega. Selena is finally
a title holder. It was announced that Chelsea Green is
taking some time off. I guess her also. Damian Priest
also requested time off, and.

Speaker 7 (02:43:54):
I was like, yeah, you guys are running for a while,
so I get it. I think, yeah, it's great that
they finally are recognizing maybe Selena Vega's talent, and I
like that this is what maybe the mid card title
should be used for, you know.

Speaker 4 (02:44:11):
Uh.

Speaker 11 (02:44:12):
We also had uh Drew mc Drew McIntyre defeated La
Knight via disqualification after Damian Priest attacked McIntyre. McIntyre is
the number one contender for the United States Championship. Postmatch,
FO two laid out Night and Priest gentlemen, we had
a return. Alistair Black returned knocked out the miss with

(02:44:40):
the Black Mass. Alistair Black returned after w W after
a four year absence. It seems, you know, in the
past month or so, We've had five AW superstars come over.

Speaker 6 (02:44:58):
We had.

Speaker 7 (02:45:00):
Uh is his name, Ricky Stark, I want to say, yep,
we had him.

Speaker 11 (02:45:09):
We have Penta, we have Ray Phoenix, we have Rusive
and Alistair Black. So we have people returning and we
have guys who are new.

Speaker 7 (02:45:20):
It kind of feels like, uh, you know, like an
Avengers endgame when the Hulk snaps everybody back after the
past four or five years.

Speaker 11 (02:45:28):
You know, all those contracts may AW run out. It
feels really feels like it was like, you know, not
too long ago that I recall you know, Rusive and
Alistair Black going over to AW and signing like a
four or five year contract, and I was like, man, like,
it's gonna be a while, so those contracts run out,

(02:45:48):
but I'm like, you know, hopefully they come back. And
you know, when Triple H took over and Vince stepped
down right away, that was the first thing I thought of,
was like, oh, you know, I mean, it's any company,
you know, if you didn't get along with the boss.

Speaker 7 (02:46:04):
But then you find out like no, no, somebody else
is in charge. Now it's way better, you know, the
chance of overturn of people coming back, you know, it's
pretty high and we've seen that, you know.

Speaker 6 (02:46:15):
And I mean especially if you're being underutilized in the
company that you went too. It's the proverbial case of
finding out that the grass isn't always greener on.

Speaker 5 (02:46:24):
The other side.

Speaker 6 (02:46:25):
Absolutely, because maybe you know, they weren't being used at
their best nwwe you know, whether it's missed opportunities, just
being poorly booked or what have you. So they thought
they would find better pastures over in AW, only to
find out that AW would use the even less.

Speaker 5 (02:46:45):
They be even more under utilized.

Speaker 6 (02:46:47):
Maybe less so with Alistair Black because he I guess
he did have a decent run for there for a
little while as Malachi Black and the whole House of
Black thing, but eventually that kind of ran its course
as well. I don't think he was fairly injured. I
think he had not that I paid the most attention
to the AW product.

Speaker 7 (02:47:08):
But but how about like you know, Alistair Black and
slain eveya both getting you know, some spotlight and and
a win. You know, that's good for them. I like,
we're seeing when couples succeed. Uh.

Speaker 11 (02:47:24):
Also, I didn't want to go ass over the main
event the w W Tag Team Championships. The Street Profits,
who were the champions, defeated Motor City Machine Guns and
d I I, retrieving the titles in a t LC match.

Speaker 7 (02:47:41):
They also did the spot were very similar to l
C spot with his edge spearing somebody off.

Speaker 5 (02:47:51):
Of the Jeff Jeff Hardy.

Speaker 7 (02:47:53):
Yeah, they recreated it. I think it was a great match.

Speaker 6 (02:47:56):
Uh, you know, go back and the Banker. Yeah, like
it was a legit banger match. It was like we've
said time and time again, this was the match we
should have had that WrestleMania. This match was absolutely phenomenal.
It was top notch. Everybody brought it in their matches and.

Speaker 5 (02:48:17):
And it was it cooked. And I'm glad that the
Street Profits retained.

Speaker 7 (02:48:22):
Yeah me too, me too. Yeah.

Speaker 11 (02:48:28):
I mean that that's it for SmackDown. That's it for Raw,
that's it for I Got News. I don't know if
there's anything else do you guys want to touch.

Speaker 6 (02:48:34):
On, Like, I mean, as far as SmackDown goes, uh,
like it was. I'm glad that Slonevega won the title,
the US title. I mean, I think she's been long overdue,
you know, people being who was underestimated her because of
her small size, and you know, she's probably the smallest

(02:48:56):
woman on the WWE roster, and I don't think it's
really that close, but being other small women have clearly
shown if you can go in the ring, then you
can get over and you can you know, have success.
And Selina Vega not saying she's you know, the greatest
in the ring, but she's more than.

Speaker 5 (02:49:16):
Capable of working and she's finding she's.

Speaker 6 (02:49:22):
Definitely well, i want to say, serviceable services kind of
like a little bit of a sneak disc but she's
more than capable in the ring of putting on good matches.
We've seen that from her in the past. And as
far as personality, she definitely has more personality in her
than a lot of women on the roster. She just

(02:49:44):
hasn't really been given much opportunity to use it or
to showcase it. But every time I've seen her in
stuff outside of WWE or anything like that, where she's
just allowed to be herself, Yeah, she's got fucking personality
for days. If she can find a way to you know,
and bring her personality that she naturally has and build

(02:50:05):
a character around it, she could definitely go far or
go further. But either way, I'm glad to see her
as the champion. I hope that this is not just
some bs where she has it this week and she
loses it again by the end of May. But good

(02:50:26):
for her.

Speaker 5 (02:50:27):
Glad to see that the Orton seen a segment that
was good.

Speaker 6 (02:50:32):
They were they were definitely going at each other, not
as hard as Cody and Sino were, but you can
tell that you know all their history of working together.
You can see they were bringing that to the table,
and just in terms of the sheer emotion that they
were throwing.

Speaker 5 (02:50:51):
At each other. And like I said, and obviously the
main event was a banger.

Speaker 2 (02:50:58):
Yeah, so Carlos feedback, Yeah, really don't have that much
more to add. Was a big fan of the EO
and Stephanie Va Caerre match and like everyone else, was
surprised that it went as for as long as it did,
just to have it be interrupted about the twelve or

(02:51:20):
thirteenth minute mark of that match, which why they did
the same thing when they had Naomi attacked Jade and
when she was having her match against Tiffany that just
baffles me, like, why would you play that whole stick

(02:51:42):
stick on? You know, back to back shows. We're gonna
run like ten minute plus matches and then someone will
finally come and interrupt it. So it's the only thing
that you know, like it seems like they just, you know,
weren't really focusing what to do. So they're like, well
this worked on Monday, let's just go ahead and do

(02:52:03):
it here.

Speaker 5 (02:52:04):
I mean, it's the only way to protect talent.

Speaker 6 (02:52:05):
Because no, no, I.

Speaker 2 (02:52:07):
Understand that part, but I'm just like, why run it again,
like the same exact thing, Like find a different way
to do it, but or not have it go as
long and just have it be something that's right away.
But yeah, that was that's that we had. The only

(02:52:29):
other thing I wanted to talk about was the what
was it? Oh we didn't get any type of acknowledgment
of JD McDonagh. Guys didn't hear anyone if you guys
bring them up in this little recap. It's kind of weird.

Speaker 5 (02:52:48):
That little big head motherfucker coming back.

Speaker 6 (02:52:53):
Yeah, he back.

Speaker 5 (02:52:54):
He's back for a bit of a pop.

Speaker 2 (02:52:56):
And it looks like they they actually turned them against
Finn then they just I'm waiting for that little betrayal
that happened. So that's interesting.

Speaker 5 (02:53:06):
They having they have a match they have.

Speaker 2 (02:53:08):
A match for. They had the match for the with
the war Raiders. With the war Raiders, they lost that match.

Speaker 6 (02:53:15):
Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 5 (02:53:18):
I think we're gonna see a split.

Speaker 2 (02:53:21):
Yeah, but it's obviously that they're not keeping Finn in
the loop. So the split has to be where JD
eventually has to also turn on Finn to be as
part of the group.

Speaker 6 (02:53:36):
Yeah. But the problem with that though, is that if
everybody turns on Finn, then that positions Finn as presumably
the baby face because all the heels are turning against them,
but nobody's invested in Finn like that, So I don't
see where the payoff would be, Like, oh my god,
we kicked Fit out the Judgment Day, so.

Speaker 5 (02:53:59):
I think I think there's a if.

Speaker 6 (02:54:01):
I think there's a swerve coming, Like, either the swerve
is coming or there's going to be a pivot in
the storytelling, because clearly the only the only one person
in Judgment Day that gets face pops at this moment,
and that's Dom, And for my money, the more compelling
story would be Dom getting kicked out and Live, who's

(02:54:26):
still a heat magnet, deciding to decide with Finn like
she cheats on Dom with Finn. Sure, I mean, and
they could still plan that out though they could you know,

(02:54:47):
she's out on.

Speaker 2 (02:54:48):
Such and such, you know, and maybe face texting yeah
or like Finn gets it or something like that.

Speaker 6 (02:54:55):
Maybe there's some weeks where they're like, Finn, where were
you at? Like, you know, maybe a week Fin's not there.
Then next week, Fenn, where were you at? I'll take
care of something. Last week YadA YadA. Turns out he
went out and saw Live while she was filming the movie,
and things kind of happened.

Speaker 5 (02:55:11):
One thing let to another.

Speaker 6 (02:55:12):
That's you know, you know, they're carrying on some secret
affair behind Dom's back.

Speaker 5 (02:55:18):
And then when Live comes.

Speaker 6 (02:55:19):
Back, she turns on Dom and she tides with Finn
and Doms on the outs. Because at least by that
point you should definitively know where the fans are with Dom, right,
you know, if it's gonna be a couple of weeks
for Live, you should definitively know where the fans are
at with Dom and where the fans are with fans,
So you should be able to clearly have those lines

(02:55:40):
to find, and then Live returning can be the catalyst
for the you know, one of them getting kicked out.

Speaker 2 (02:55:54):
Fuck it, Paul. If you're listening higher trace to being
the Ranters. He has no problems also being part of
that reality series they have cooking Up where you follow
the writers in the writing room.

Speaker 14 (02:56:08):
I forget what it's called uncured or something unscripted. What
was it called again, Wayne, I think it's.

Speaker 7 (02:56:22):
Fuck. You made me forget on something.

Speaker 12 (02:56:26):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:56:29):
Undeserving because we didn't really care.

Speaker 7 (02:56:32):
Yeah, exactly. All right, guys, let's wrap this bitchup. This
has been a long episode. Uh yeah, I got nothing
else to plug.
