Championship Wrestling.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
I am your host, Wayne also known as Semi Dry Chicken,
and here we are again. And let me tell you
what is ninety nine to I don't know. Ninety nine
problems can be solved by what money? What makes the
world go round? It's fucking money. But guess what not tonight.
It's not about the money. It's about power, it's about opportunity,

(04:57):
it's about last chances. It is about the money in
the bank. And I'm gonna review that today, but not alone.
But we're also gonna cover what happened on Monday night.
Raw that said, let's bring them on out.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Oh so hey, hey, may have been tell you.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
It's just okay, dang, just okay, Dan, that lot.

Speaker 8 (05:47):
Oh you.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Hold you, hey, Dre. Welcome back, buddy.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Yo, Yo, what a do PCW crew main eventuate, So
was back on your podcast.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
That music hits a little different this time. It's not. So.
I don't feel so hyped. I'm not, you know, I'm not.
I'm not yeating as much. I mean, we'll get into
it after we're talking about money in the bank. But
music hits a little differently this week, doesn't it.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Nobody stays on top of ever.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
Nope, nope, but we'll get it. Ain't no but a
step back, yep, nothing but a step back. All right, man,
Let's dig into money in the bank and into it.
Dom at Tennis was seventeen sixty nine. That's a a

(06:45):
lie for that little little arena. Actually, before we get there,
I had did you catch the World's Collide? Because I
really didn't get a chance to as much as I
wanted to, because the card looked really good. S maybe
some highlights if you did, What did you catch?

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Yeah, I did catch some of it. I didn't catch
the entire pay per view. I did catch the opening match,
which the six man tag match, which had LWO of
WWE taking on Octagon Junior Aerostar and apparently the fastest
rising star in wrestling right now, mister Iguana.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Huh dude, Yes.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
I didn't match. Yeah, and Carlos he kind of gave
us a heads up, which shout out to Carlos. He
gave us a heads up of who to keep an
eye on from Triple A in the mix, which he
highlighted keep an eye on Errowstar and Octagon Junr. Which,
don't get me wrong, those two definitely showed out in
the match. They performed you know, great and just and

(07:54):
seeing uh, the guys in l WO being able to
work much more freely and work with guys that you
could tell they're clearly familiar with that they've worked with
in the past. It showed, I mean, Dragonly showed out,
Cruise del Toro, he absolutely showed out in this match.
You could tell like he he felt he was working,

(08:16):
like he felt liberated in that match, the way he
was showing he was cutting up and showing out in
that match, definitely, But clear star of the show was
mister Iguana. He was the clear star of that match.
And that pet iguana that he has every time he
came in the ring, every time he worked the crowd

(08:37):
just ate it all up and everybody played into it.
And you would think it would, you know, a gimmick
like that, you know, a pet iguana would play stupid,
you know, oh my god, this dumb gimmick. But it
worked in that match, like they it worked in an
entertaining way without making the match completely ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Like how much longer until we're going to be start
selling like Iguana's a w W shop, you know, like
it's it's a marketing dude, it's a marketing genius.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Like there's already talk, yeah, dude, yeah, there's already talk
of them shooting him straight to the main roster because
he's that he's gotten that popular, his merch is selling
that well. I meant it when I said fastest rising star.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Yeah, and like it's crazy point people were like, Oh,
that's such a stupid gimmick.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
You know what.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
Guess what, that gimmick will write that man a bunch
of paychecks, you know, you know what I mean. If
it works, it works, like.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Uh, if you if you cheered for mister Soco, you
cannot hate on the mister Iguana.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
Right, And uh, dude, it's great. Like every once in
a while you get a superstar who transcends the internet
like just basically, uh, you know, I'm not I wasn't watching,
but yet I've seen so much footage of this guy
in just a few days just because of how popular
he's been. I mean, it's just like Joe Henry was

(10:04):
like that. I didn't know who Joe Henry was, but
he became a very fast rising start just being popular
with the gimmick, Like and WW is definitely like showcasing that,
like they're promoting the right wrestlers, you know, That's what
I'm seeing on the social media and I don't know,
Uh dude, this is awesome. Uh I think this merger

(10:27):
to play.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
Yeah. Now, I will say that, you know, it's TBD
how much staying power this has because obvious you do
live in a in a mean TikTok you know, microwave culture,
where something is hot one moment and a week later
it's whatever, We're done, We're over this, you know.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
So whether mister Iguana is just a flash in the
pin or a flavor of the month thing, or whether
this is something that has real legs is to be determined.
I mean, we'll see how it goes with. Right now,
he's hot as fish grease and w w, he is
going cash in and take advantage.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
Right I mean we we've all had, you know, moments
in time that we have all latched to, you know,
rusive day would be I say it could be one
of them. Yesstlemania Walk with Elias, you know, even you
know and uh god yeah, big casts. Yeah. Like there's

(11:36):
just some things that the crowd just freaking loves and
it just catches exactly.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
So we'll see about that. But that match was great.
I missed the follow up match with the second match,
which was Stephanie Vacaren Lola Ice against uh Chic Tormenta,
and Dallas said, I missed that match because I'm pretty
sure that was quite a sight to behold. And the
second of three matches for Stephanie Vaquerre in twenty four hours. Yeah,

(12:08):
Jesus shout out to her. I missed that one. I
came back part of the way through the Logato den
Fa Tasma match taking on No, I take that back, No,
I did miss that. I missed that match too, Logato
del Phantasma versus Ellie Hill Day, Doctor Wagner, Junior Pigano
and Psycho Clown. I missed that one.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
Too, Psycho.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
I would imagine it was probably a good match. When
I came back in was during the fatal four way
match that they had for the NXT North American Championship
Ethan Page, Javon Evans, Laredo Kid and Ray Phoenix. The
motherfuckers was cooking. They was cooking Like Javon Evans if

(12:54):
he wasn't if he wasn't over in Ela, Mexico before
this match, he over would now because he was at
that jaint flying and the crowd was clearly got behind
him in this match. Laredo Ray Phoenix obviously they did
they thing. Ethan Page did his thing as a heel. Look,
the clear showcase was between the other three. Like, Ethan

(13:17):
Page can't fly around like those other guys, he can't
pull off the same type caliber moves like they do.
So most of what I saw was Javon, Laredo and
Phoenix showing out, and then Ethan Page would pop in
do something heel is, take one of them out, try
to get a pin or something like that, which he
did end up winning in the end, which honestly kind
of I expected it, but still felt disappointing given how

(13:40):
the other ones were going at it. And then, of course,
the main event was elie Jo David Kingo versus Chad Gable,
which I'm just gonna say right now, best match of
the whole weekend. In my opinion, This match right here
was better than anything that was on Money and that

(14:02):
happened at Money in the Bank. This match was an
absolute main event, pay per view caliber match. Those two
went the fuck at it. It might be I ain't
saying it is, but it's gonna be a nom It's
a nominee for Match of the Year. Really, the match

(14:25):
was that good. That is that good.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
That's the saying right there, it's definitely worth going back
and just watching this pl and hold that.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Just yeah, it's worth consideration. Whether it's I'm not saying
it is my match of the year, I'm not saying
that in the first place, but it's it's in the running,
it's in under consideration. The match was that damn good.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
Fucking bookmark that I don't think I would have book marked,
you know, a World's client match to be in that. Yeah,
that's awesome. You know what I have thought about, what if?
What if Chad Gable would have won, right, would have
won that title, you know, like being kind of forced
of only being able to wear that title as Chad

(15:05):
Gable but not a Grande Americana.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (15:10):
Like he was crazy that right, like he has the title,
but like he also doesn't have the title, like.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
Or imagine if he would have won the title as
Chad Gable and won the money in the bank briefcase.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
Dude, dude, Well, Thomas a crazy fucking writing that it
could have done.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
Having to play double duty just threatening, oh dude, Like
just threatening or somebody trying to gasp up a bit,
gassing up l grande and be like, you know what
you should do, Grande. You should cash in against Chad Gable,
make a championship.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Yeah, dude, that would be great, just like talking ship
on the mic to him every week, and just like Chad,
just like I don't understand why he's so mad at me,
like you now, he's just he's just you know, running
me down, and like you know, like I thought we
were friends.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
That would be funny having promos back and forth, like, yeah,
Grande Americano cuts a promo shipping on Chad Gable, Chag
cuts a promo dunking on freaking Grande Americano.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
I could definitely see them pointing off a split screen interview.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
Then booked, and it booked the match, Yeah, all the way.
Bucket Americano Mega Championship.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
Yeah, I don't care who the fuck is really you
get to you know, Playland Americana at this point, it
would just be funny just because the storyline would fucking work.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
It'd be funny, but it'd probably only be funny for
us in America. I think folks in Mexico would probably
be pissed about it was it was the right call
for if I can't go.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
Do yeah, yeah, absolutely but still, this is why you
aren't writers on the show. Yeah, because we're full of
good fucking ideas. I'll say that.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
Your fucking idea. Nobody's saying, all.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Right, man, let's get into this money in the bank,
pay per view, take it away, all.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
Right, Well you will tell me to take away as
soon as I put some fucking posts in my damn mouth.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
That's right. Well, I want to bring this up. I
was talking about the attendance earlier seventeen thy sixty nine,
but I later found out when I was looking. I'm
rewatching now like I always do when i'm watching this,
there's green lights everywhere.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
Right.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
I thought, like a dumb fuck, like, oh, that's like
maybe some sort of light sequences that they do for
like maybe some entrances. I don't know. I thought it'd
be something unique. It's not. It's representing an empty seat
in the house. And then now that I know that,
I'm looking at it and it's like, wow, we got

(18:03):
a lot of empty fucking seats. I understand the one
you know by the entrance area. That's obviously you're not
gonna have anybody sitting over there and have a bunch
of green lights. But hardcam side. I'm looking at the
screen and just seeing huge gaps of just empty seats.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
Yeah. Well there was an obvious reason for that, and
it was because of what's going on in California, the
protests and all that stuff happening out there. So that
was affecting people getting to the arena itself, which was
why at the beginning of the show it seemed like
damn near half only half full if that. But obviously

(18:42):
as the show went on, is filled in more and more.
You know, I imagine people who got there late were
probably mad as hell that they may have missed, you know,
still the start of the show, or maybe even the
first match, or who knows, depending on when they got there. Yeah,
I mean, or Damsel did not look good at the beginning.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
Yeah, And that's the thing that's so as we forget that,
like real world problems could be happening right outside our
wrestling door.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
You know.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Hell, even I remember we were going to WrestleMania, uh
wrest forty. The traffic was backed up because Donald Trump
was driving through, you know. Yeah, so it was like,
oh man, we're gonna be fucking late because the you know,
the president of United States is driving through there, you know,
the w W Hall of Famer. So I would bring

(19:35):
him up when Doyle's not on here. He's gonna kill me, right,
I can hear him right now chiming in, Doyle just
just saying go fuck yourself. Yeah, uh yeah man.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
So then start off with the first match, which was
the women's Money in the Bank ladder match which had
wet's see Stephanie Vicuer and her third match in twenty
four hours, Rea Ripley, Julia, Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez and Naomi.

(20:20):
This match went for surprisingly twenty five minutes and fifteen seconds,
second longest match of the card. Excuse me, so, yeah,
the match was great obviously the women they always show
out in this match, as they always do. I think

(20:42):
this match, as opposed to the men's match in the beginning,
had genuine intrigue as far as who was going to win.
I think all three of us picked somebody different to win.
I don't know. I didn't catch what Doyle's pick was beforehand,
but I think I had picked did I picked? I

(21:02):
think I picked just Stephanie Vicaire to win? You had
picked what? Uh? You picked? You did pick? Nail me?

Speaker 3 (21:09):
Ye?

Speaker 1 (21:10):
Okay? Okay, who did who did all happen?

Speaker 3 (21:14):
I believe, which you know, like all good fucking picksough.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
Yeah, like all d Yeah. You could make a legit
argument for practically anyone of the six to be gent
to a one briefcase. And I'm genuinely happy that they
picked nail me, even though I may have picked Vicar
because I thought, you know, my reasoning was that she

(21:41):
had the rocket trapped to her and that they were
gonna shoot her straight to the top, and I thought
this might have been part of it. But I do
think Naomi was the better pick because the work that
she's been putting in, especially since turning heel, She's made
it work. And I've always been a skeptic of the
whole crazy woman gimmick. You know, Oh, this woman's attorney hels. Oh,

(22:05):
she's gonna be the crazy one. She's gonna be the
insane one, the unstable one. I've never seen it work
for anybody. Yeah, it happens, and I don't. I can't
think of any woman that's really made it stick and
work to uh on a championship level like they do
it for a while, it never really connects, It doesn't
really resonate with nobody. They maybe are mid card at best,

(22:28):
but can't ever take it to that main event level.
Na only is showing that she can take this to
a main event level. She's managing to thread that needle
just right to be crazy quote unquote, but still remain
dangerous and legitimate, and putting this money in the bank

(22:48):
match helps that out a lot, right. You know, I
won't say that there's any particular I won't. I don't
think there's any particular spots that really that really stood
out to me in this match that I can say, like, oh,
I remember that spier that spot other than Stephanie mccarro

(23:08):
doing the I can't remember the Devil's kiss on that
latter what she did it. So I think what Ria Ripley.

Speaker 3 (23:17):
Yeah, so oh yeah, yeah on the ladder.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
Fucking with anything about anything of yours that stood out
to you in this match?

Speaker 3 (23:28):
Well, you know, shout out to Na, I mean Ria
for having best outfit of the night for sure. Uh this, yeah,
you know what, You're right though, Like it was a
solid match, but there weren't really a lot of points
I would say stuck out because even after this match

(23:49):
and the next one, I still feel like I wasn't,
Like I just wasn't into it yet. I was like,
I wasn't. I feel like we were just getting warmed up,
you know, and normally the way men put on like
like a banger of a match, especially for like a
ladder match, and then it's always like a good one
to have to follow up for the men. I mean,

(24:13):
I was pretty happy with the results that we got,
Like you said, dude, like it. This is the way
all money in the bank liner matches should be, where
every competitor is definitely somebody you could see winning it.
Everybody has like you know what I mean, Like it's
not out of the realm of possibility for any of
these superstars to go on as Money the Bank winner

(24:35):
and champion one day. They're, like you said, a solid
argument for everybody in the match. And that's how I
think every money in the bank should be for hero
on out, just really digging into who has the best
fit storyline for you know, for the time being. U.
You know, maybe we have former champions who are trying

(24:57):
to regain goal like Rha, like popular fucking pick, Like
a lot of people on there that were assuming Ria
was gonna win it and I was, you know, I'm
just in Alexa Blist just recently coming back. Yeah, everybody
had a solid argument by the end of the day.
First storyline going forward, I think Naomi's dude, it's great. Like,

(25:21):
like you said, we've had the crazy girl gimmick before.
It works for some wrestlers, it doesn't like you know,
let me see Nikki Cross had it. A j Lee
was very similar Victoria Mickey James. So some of these
can work not very long. But I do like the

(25:43):
unique twist on her gimmick, on her character alone, it's
keeping her relevant. You know, Naomi is a former Women's champion,
not to the newer Women's World World title. I think,
like to SmackDown champion or something. But yeah, she's held

(26:05):
a significant amount of championships, so like she's no stranger
to the main events scene. It's just it's been a
while since she's been there.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
I don't yeh TNA knockouts champion.

Speaker 3 (26:17):
True, but I don't think she's won a women's title
since being back in ww right, So yeah, after her
and Sasha walked out, So I mean this is if
this is how long it took to bounce back, you know,

(26:40):
but she did it on her own, you know, granted
she works side is working still side by side with
Bianca and Jade, and I feel like this is where
it's going. We're gonna get either a triple threat or
you know, Namely is gonna get the title, and you
know we're gonna see Jade Cargo because I'm I'm hearing

(27:01):
Jake curles on straight straight to the top, right to
the main events scene for the women's and who better
first to feud with than Naomi, whether she has the
title or not. Naomi's looming over her with that briefcase
or you know she's going after and Naomi after she's
cast in either way, Like, I'm pretty excited to where

(27:25):
it's going.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Like I said, my my my prediction is that Naomi
that Jay car gill Is, she is probably heading for
the main events scene. But I don't see her having
a significant ww Women's Champion or Women's World Championship title, right.

(27:47):
I think she might get in a match for the title,
she might win the match and immediately be cashed in
upon by Nail, and Naomi's gonna become the actual champion.
I mean, for hellu that that that five minute rain,
like what Damian Prey said, I'm not like what Drew
Head at Wrestle Media.

Speaker 3 (28:06):
Yeah, like just getting it stolen from from you. It
sucks too. It sucks when it's yeah, and it really
sucks when it's your very first title win, right, especially
for Ja like being her first title win, you know,
world title win and w W, just having that snatched
out from me, Oh my god, it's gonna suck. I seen.

(28:29):
I think who else I've seen that happen to Ray Mysterio.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
I think one imagine the heat, dude, the heat imagine.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
And you know what, we're gonna dig into it too
for the men's. I mean there's there's one for the
men's I want to talk about later that would be
nuclear uh but yeah, Like that's what I love about
the Morning in the Break briefcas Man, Like it creates
like this power that you have looming over the champion
at any time. And it's not just the world champion.

(28:59):
We've seen him cashed in on like mid card titles too,
which I think is cool too because that just shows
like nobody's you know, off limits. Every champion and even NXT,
like every champion is at risk of losing their title
at any time and that you know that opportunity will

(29:19):
just arise. But yeah, uh I did like uh when
it moved. I want to point out the one where
Stephanie and Rion that ladder. Booker two would have loved that.
H R what what what's that? Uh? I don't know

(29:39):
what that move is called where she like takes the
knees and yeah, the devil's skisses out. That is, she
does it on the ladder areea. I know there's another
spot where they took r and they like buried her
with a bunch of ladders, which I always think is
a funny spot when they bury the ship up something.

(30:00):
I know, like when they throw those ladders, like the
first like two or three ladders that they throw, you know,
it's gotta hurt like hell. After that, it's just like, yeah,
no problem, just keep burying them over time. That first one,
I don't appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
Yeah, I do appreciate that there was actually some intelligence
in this match too, because I think there was one
spot where rock Sand and somebody else were both on
the ladder mm hmm, and I think Alexa Bliss grabbed
it the ladder was about to push it over and
rather than do the thing that they normally do where
it's like, oh, we see the person about to push
us off the ladder, Yeah, just hold on and write

(30:33):
it all the way down. They both just jumped off.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
It was like, Okay, that shows that somebody's actually thinking
and actually using some intelligence in the match, and like,
we're not just gonna take this spot like normal, Like, no,
we're gonna get the hell out of dodge and just
bail on it.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
Mm hm.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
So you know, little subtle moments like that are things
I appreciate.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
Yeah, I mean it doesn't look like anybody really to
hurt during this match either, which is nice because uh yeah,
always wearing these ladder matches, man, like, I always fear
somebody's gonna come out with an injury of some kind.
And you know, as a fan, you don't want that, Like,
you want to see really good spots. You want to
you want to see maybe the character getting written off
for a little bit, but you don't want to see
they really get hurt.

Speaker 1 (31:17):
No, we've all seen that in the past. Everybody remembers
Joey Mercury getting his face blown up by a ladder. Jesus,
nobody wants that, you.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
Brought that up because I was just thinking that because, yeah,
they don't do a lot of catapulting with ladders anymore.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
Now, it's a lot of in the ladder in somebody's face.

Speaker 3 (31:35):
No, I mean that's maybe it's not just for safety.
I think it's more of a the wrestlers have seen
it happen and cringe at it and like no, but.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
And if it catches you off garden and if you know,
all it takes for you to not be prepared for
that spot like he was, or you know, not get
your face up to guard yourself in it's a wrap.

Speaker 3 (31:55):
Yep, yep, Especially that.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
Happens to a you know, one of the women in
a match.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
God, no way, they're so beautiful. Don't do that.

Speaker 9 (32:05):
No.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
Also, like you know, like when wrestlers are doing ship
on the ladders, like the ladders that are laid out sideways,
I always wonder, like worry about their legs getting caught,
like you know, fall into line, dislocating like a knee
or some ship because I'm yeah, just look at your knee.
I mean, that's what I mean. Like, I love ladder matches. This,

(32:29):
this is why I think this match in particular has
become like a staple in the year of like pay
per views. I look forward to like because ladder matches.

Speaker 1 (32:39):
Are one guarantee ladder match you're getting every year.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
Yeah, exactly, exactly, Yeah, and and we're always gonna get
uh broken ladders, which I always think is fucking funny
the amount of ladders we go through. But yeah, that's
really all I got for this match. I mean, good
opener match though not fire. Good not fire, but the

(33:05):
girls did cook.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Yeah it was. It was a good match. I don't
think it was quite as good as last year's, but
still a good match.

Speaker 3 (33:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:16):
But yeah. Following this up, we had an impromptu match
that was uh teased, well not teased, but booked at
World's Collide because after at one point in the match,
I'm not there in the match. At one point during
the show, they showed Dominic mystereo in attendance, and he

(33:37):
got into it with Octagon pretty much right after the
the opening match. I believe they got into it and
then dom talked shit YadA YadA, said, you know, come
see me at Money in the Bank. I'll even put
the title on the line, which just from a booker
a booking standpoint, I thought that was dope. That the

(33:58):
fact that they booked a match at the earlier show
to happen at the later show and just impromptu like that,
just that spontaneity I loved. Unfortunately, the match yourself did
not live up to the hype of the spontaneity because
Dominic Mysterio defeated Octagon Junior by penfall in less than
five minutes yea in this intercontinental type of match, which

(34:24):
again I think was a real disappointment because anybody who
was watching Worlds Collide and saw that that what was
happening at that show and then thought, oh, we about
to get Octagon Junior versus Dominic Mysterio later. You know,
we're expecting them to have a good match, think they
really gonna cook, Like we about to get you know,

(34:45):
a little bit of World's Collide in this money in
the bank. Thinking that you know, Gon Junior, we just
alway he did in that match. We're thinking he about
to cook. We have his we know dom has untapped potential,
you know, and thinking if he gets in there with
a real looch door, he can probably really show out,

(35:06):
show us some stuff that he's been you know, keeping
under wraps and really, you know, really cut loose. At
least that's what we I think most of us were
hoping for and expecting, and instead we got a little
basic match, a couple of little cool spots and lit
Morgan interference Octagon taking out Frog Splash one, two three.

(35:29):
It was it's not really much to say about it.
Other thing, it was a disappointment after the way they
hyped it up at after the segment we got a
World's collide and the hype and the anticipation and really
looking forward to this match, just to get what it
basically amounted to is a five minute skit. More or less.

(35:50):
I think they deserve better. I think the matches are better,
but it is what it is.

Speaker 3 (35:56):
Yeah, I mean, last minute throwing a match in there.
You know we we predicted only four uh. I mean
sometimes it's nice when they throw in a match out
of nowhere, especially a title match being so sudden. They
just did not get enough time. The four minutes to
fifty five seconds is not enough time, even even like

(36:19):
Attitude era women's matches standards. That's not enough time. Man,
what's next? What's next for Domino?

Speaker 1 (36:31):
You know?

Speaker 3 (36:32):
Uh, Turty Down, I don't know a few need more,
maybe lucators, I guess, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (36:40):
So at some point they're going he's gonna have to
have a legitimate challenger for his title. He can't just
I hope they don't. They don't need the US title.
This thing where he just wears it and walks around
with it and he's the champion. Ain't doing shit with it.
Too much work has been put into building up this
Intercontinental title. Oh yeah, the prestige waste.

Speaker 3 (37:00):
Away now yeah yeah, yeah, And uh, you know, I
I don't mind if he'll weaseling his way through his
title reign. But uh yeah, you got any you're any
little bit more better challengers here, better contenders, better matches,
longer matches. It's nice to live. So that was a bonus.

(37:25):
I'm not complaining there.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
Yeah, nobody's ever going to complain about seeing Morgan.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
Yeah right, Uh not me. Yep.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
So apparently the pangle was in attendance. That money in
the bank, because there's a picture floating around with her
and lived Morgan. I guess backstage took a picture together.

Speaker 3 (37:46):
Yeah uh yeah. Uh. It's like the the dream you
have right before your alarm clock goes off.

Speaker 1 (37:56):
Yep, you talk about another one that didn't aged beautiful
lead Dannie official.

Speaker 3 (38:02):
Yeah, she was sitting behind one of the Kardashians because
like they were showing the Kardashian and I'm just like, move, move,
because there's somebody.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
I switch seats.

Speaker 3 (38:14):
Yeah, switch sees. I was like, I find the one.
I find very my what was that? You know, your
childhood crush. You know we're around the same age roughly,
it's it's our childhood crush. You know what if you're
if you're a kid in.

Speaker 1 (38:29):
The nineties the nineties, you had crushed off to Panga.

Speaker 3 (38:32):
Yeah, don't lie, don't lie. We all did. But yeah,
that's what I saw. Immediately. I was like ooh ooh,
and I was kind of pissed they didn't bring her
up at first. They did eventually, but I was like, really,
and I can put the maybe unless you know, maybe
there's some I wonder if there's some actors who just
don't want the attention, which I can understand that.

Speaker 1 (38:56):
Maybe. I mean, she hasn't been secret of about her
w W and clearly know that she's a ww fan.
She's a sneaker head, Like, yeah, that's true, too cool ship.

Speaker 3 (39:10):
Yeah. So yeah, so those we get some good celebrities
that come out. Oh it's always nice, uh seeing which
ones are there, especially when you're at the show and
then you're like, oh, man, like really, I didn't know that,
you know she was Imagine being in the same arena
not knowing she was there, Like, damn, she was this

(39:32):
close to me. I didn't know. It.

Speaker 1 (39:34):
Could have met at the concession right exactly. I could
have ranted her.

Speaker 3 (39:37):
Concessions, like, oh, Daniel Fisher, what a coincidence? I to
Pega right, no way. It's just like trying to get
what are you doing here? Here's my phone number. It's
like please please, I've been writing your handwritten letters since

(39:58):
the nineties. Have you gotten any of them?

Speaker 1 (40:01):
And that's when her husband shows up.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
It's like hey pal. Anyway, Ah, next match.

Speaker 1 (40:14):
Next match, which was the match that I missed This match?
Why the hell I missed this match? Something happened where
I didn't catch this match but Becky Lynch facing Lyra
Valkyria for the women's in a Continental championship. Oh, I
remember why I missed this match because this is when
I had to step away to go get my goddamn
food because fucking uber Ee and uber's grandpa will take

(40:38):
it to goddamn long to deliver my shit. So I
got pissed off and just decided to just leave because
freaking five guys is like three minutes away from my house,
and I thought that it would be ready, but no,
I got there and they weren't fucking doing my shit,
so I wound up. It was supposed to been a
five minute trip wound up being a twenty minute trip,
which is why I missed this match. AnyWho, huh, I.

Speaker 3 (41:01):
Said, you probably missed the little promo then that was
right before it the American Maida did We just talked
about this last episode about branding like tables, lyars and
chairs and what did we get? A fire ball ladder? What?

Speaker 1 (41:19):
Yep?

Speaker 3 (41:20):
The fuck it? It's happening, man, Sorry, already.

Speaker 1 (41:27):
To go with the slim gym table that I told
that I called it, I said, was gonna happen?

Speaker 3 (41:36):
Yup?

Speaker 1 (41:38):
And sure enough it was on SmackDown right they go home?
Smack Yeah. They brought the slim gym table and they
freaking somebody went through it. And what did I say
was gonna happen? They said, somebody's gonna snap into a
slim gym table or snap through it, and that person
went through it was wasn't the piper Nivin.

Speaker 3 (41:56):
I think my ears were burning too, because.

Speaker 1 (42:00):
Yeah, freaking here They go on to Mike jonesas story
she snapped right through that slim gym table. Mike, just man,
I don't ever want to if this is what it's
gonna be, I don't ever want to see a table again.

Speaker 3 (42:17):
God, put the tables back. They're gonna pull out the
table with the logo. I just want like one time
they pull out a table as soon as the logo
appear as they start doing it, so they put the
tables back. Put the tables back.

Speaker 1 (42:31):
Right, just put it back. Just chant put.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
It back, put it Yeah, yeah that would that would work.
All right, go ahead.

Speaker 1 (42:42):
I don't have much again, I don't have anything to
say on this match because I missed it. So you
guys feel free to take over and talk about this match.

Speaker 3 (42:50):
I mean, yeah, this is the end of the few,
you know. I I this went exactly the way I
thought it was gonna go.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
Where.

Speaker 3 (43:01):
You know, her title run was gonna be pretty short,
Like I felt like Becky was on like the verge
of just adding another title to her glorious amounts of
other accolades, you know, and I mean, why not why
not put Becky Lynch in her Continental champion? That will

(43:24):
definitely give that title a hell of a lot more prestige.
Not saying that liar is not getting at any but
to put Becky Lynch there, I mean, now it does,
and you know it's what happens on Raw is exactly
where I thought that was going to go. I called
that out as well, so it was kind of predictable.

(43:45):
But the match itself, it really wasn't bad. Bunch of
you know, holds here and there, and it really wasn't
too memorable, to be honest. That's why I said, like
I wasn't warmed up until after this match. I found
it kind of dull, Becky dominating most of the fucking match,
just series of fucking roll ups. But when Becky was

(44:10):
finally I think the story was more like when Becky
was finally able to put her away, you know, she
she's making her raise her hand and not just once,
but you know, go to each corner and acknowledge me
and really fucking healing it up, you know, just rubbing
it in. But like I just think the whole match.

(44:33):
It just Becky looked like she she had her fucking number.
Do I want to see any more of these matches?
Probably not. I'm content. Well you know, uh, you know,
I want to see this move forward. I want to
I want to see Bailey get back into the picture.

(44:53):
Now there's some unfinished business. But like, yeah, these two
you seem like they can't put each other away for
the solid three count unless it's a schoolboy roll up
pen here. Let's see the ending here, It's pretty simple.

(45:14):
I Becky with the solid DDT to Lira, who sold
it so well. Yeah, and then huh, I mean that's
all I got for this match. Really, I really don't
have much else to say on it, to elaborate. It
just wasn't as memorable until like how it ends, just

(45:35):
furthering the story. But you know, now, I feel like
Lira is going to get to the back of the line.
It sucks because you think she get a rematch, But
I don't think she's gonna get a rematch. I think
she's going to be put to the back of the
line or maybe thrown in a triple threat match.

Speaker 1 (45:55):
Well are they done with it? Because what happened this
past Monday, didn't Becky Lynch come out and the man
that Lyra comes back out and raise her hand properly,
because I guess Lyra raised her hand and then what
German suplexter at the po.

Speaker 3 (46:12):
Yeah, yeah, that's how.

Speaker 1 (46:15):
Yeah, so Lyra was gonna come out, and then at
Monday we got the return of Bailey looking ever so
lovely and her white. She's beating a dog out of
Becky Lynch, who then tried to run only to bump
into Lyra to get thrown back in the ring to
almost catch a rose plant from Bailey before she's ski adled.

(46:36):
So I don't know, maybe we are done with Lyra
and Becky for a while, and maybe we'll want to
Becky and Bailey feuding, which I guess, and that's probably
what they're gonna pitch going into evolution is probably maybe
Becky versus Bailey mm hmm, which I'm here for. Yeah,

(46:57):
Lyra's and I see title raing never really did it
anything for me in the first place, because, like I said,
I to this point, I still don't know what the
hell of her finisher is because she never wont to
match with it. Yeah, she always had to win a
match with something else, which to me is never a
good sign.

Speaker 3 (47:15):
Yeah, and I sometimes I just hate when matches or
feuds are all roll ups, not putting them away for
a solid three count, maybe not a submission, but like
that's all.

Speaker 1 (47:31):
Win.

Speaker 3 (47:32):
This man just roll ups because that's how bad he
won the title.

Speaker 1 (47:37):
You're not getting a definitive win. You're not putting your
stamp on I beat you. It's I got by. I
managed to sneak by. And that's pretty much all she
was doing with Bethy. With Becky Lynch was you know,
just barely getting by. Yeah, match and then I just
barely got by. I got the win, and then Becky
finally just got tired of his like no, I'm Becky Lynch,

(48:00):
I'm better than you.

Speaker 3 (48:02):
Yeah, I mean that's how it feels though. It's you're
just getting by barely, like I understand. You know, like
some some fights are memorable that we know, like fews
are memorable, like okay, so you know, for example, Jay
and Gunter, we know that Jay made guns tap out.

(48:26):
You know that that's memorable.

Speaker 1 (48:31):
Regardless of how people may feel about how quickly if
it's still definitive J be Gunzer. Yeah, just like Sam
must be definitive guns beat j definitive.

Speaker 3 (48:45):
Yeah yeah, and and you know what too, it's like, well,
I'm not gonna quick match now what the women?

Speaker 1 (48:56):
No, I was thinking of Jay and Guntzer.

Speaker 3 (48:58):
I'm thinking ahead too, like.

Speaker 1 (49:01):
Like they gotta have they gotta have a rope, they
gotta have a a tiebreaker, and it should probably be
an e quid match.

Speaker 3 (49:08):
Yeah, probably at this point. You know what's funny is uh,
the whole put the title around my waist thing just
hits differently now that the titles have velcrow instead of buttons,
right right. I get it though, because yeah, yeah, I

(49:29):
mean I forget when they they went from the buttons
to the vel crow. I get it. I understand it
because you know, you don't want to be fucking the buttons,
but like it's.

Speaker 1 (49:42):
Always struggling unsnapp a button or put it.

Speaker 3 (49:45):
On, but like it just it just makes me feel
like it's more of a toy when it's over, it's velcrow.

Speaker 1 (49:54):
Like they should at least make the velcrow color match
to the belt so you don't see it so obviously,
so there's black patch across the back of the fucking belt.
At least spend spend the extra money to make you
a white vel crow for the women's belts. I mean
on the men's belts. Yeah, you don't see it because
it's blood. The belts are black. But phoning up a

(50:17):
little extra cash get white velcrow for the women's belts,
so it blends. Phoning up a little bit more cash,
get some burgundy vel crow for the NXT North American Belt,
so it blends. Y'all got the money for it. Somebody
got a can of spray paint somewhere something.

Speaker 3 (50:38):
Yep, there's a new I saw a promo between matches here. Uh,
I get to see who's all in it. I know
the uh Murtor City machine guns and Sephanie Vakir or
two of them. But w W two K is another deal.

(51:00):
The PAC coming out.

Speaker 1 (51:03):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (51:04):
You know, every year I think about buying the game,
and there's always some sort of a setback with me
not getting it, and then there's just so much micro
transactions it's ridiculous. It's just never It's just a roster
that you'll just never be able to catch up to.
You know, every time I think about wanting to play,
the rest of I want to use isn't available. Or

(51:26):
you know, that's what's great about the community creations.

Speaker 1 (51:30):
Yep, oh someone saw you want somebody in the game.
Somebody made them here it is.

Speaker 3 (51:35):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, somebody some I'll tell you what, I'm impressed.
Some people put some freaking time into it with the
answers to move everything. Like if you really want like
Jeff Hardy in the game, somebody will put Jeff Hardy
in the game for you.

Speaker 1 (51:51):
So that's the beauty of the community. Like, motherfucker, we
got DLC right here, paying for seventeople care for We
made her three weeks. We made her three weeks ago.

Speaker 3 (52:11):
All right, man, I'm ready for the next match. Hey.

Speaker 1 (52:14):
Next match was the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder
match with Seth Rollins Andrade for the second time, Eland
Americano and his Money in the Bank Ladder Match debut
in a manner of speaking, La Night for the third time.

(52:37):
In this match, Penta and Solo Socoa. I'm gonna say
this match was better than I thought it was going
to be. I'll say that I thought this was pretty
much gonna be like, you know, your typical men's match.
Power spots, high spots, YadA, YadA, blase bla and ultimately

(52:58):
somebody wins. But the fact that they introduced some genuine
storytelling elements into this match, I think is what took
this match to the next level. Not so much the
performances or the spots in the match, It was the
storytelling that elevated this match from and really most of

(53:19):
the storytelling that happened towards the end of the match. Like,
as far as spots go, there's really only one spot
that really stood out to me, and that was El
Grande Mercano in his ladder spot where he climbed up
the ladder on the outside of the round to the
ladder that was leaned up against the turnbuckle and basically
fell on that one to the ladder in the ring.

(53:41):
Like that was a dope spot. That was an absolutely
brilliant spot. I love that. That was probably the best
spot in the whole match. Outside of that, nothing else
was really memorable from a spot standpoint, but the storytelling
when Seth Rollins just could not get there and then
here come here his henchman out. You know, bron and

(54:03):
Bronson sounds like a law firm or something, Bronson, but yeah,
when they come out and they start laying waste everybody,
and then you're immediately like, oh, well, if he got goons,
I know somebody else who got goons too. Sure enough,
here comes freaking Jacob and uh, the other one.

Speaker 3 (54:25):
What are we calling him now, j C? What are we.

Speaker 1 (54:28):
Calling him jac something I was about to I was
not in sync. Yeah, but then here they come out
to even the odds and they get the scrapping and
brawling with everybody and brawling with each other, so which
you know, that was again arguably the most interesting spot

(54:48):
in the whole match. Solo, I mean I sold. Jacob
eventually lays everybody out, helps Solo go up there, Solo
goes to climb, and then here comes Jacob m grabbing
that ankle like hold on their player. Yeah, something I
gotta say to you. I hate you, Solo the moment.

(55:10):
Doyle had been waiting for it for so long.

Speaker 3 (55:13):
I know, That's what I was like exciting where I
was like, he said it. He said exactly what Doyle
said he was gonna say, just he said it months ago.
I don't know. I rather enjoyed this match. I liked, uh,
fucking Solo mocking everybody's gimmick, mocking Ellie mocking pin. I was, yeah,

(55:35):
I was dying just uh but yeah, this the story
talent in this in this match was great. I think
it's Jasey Mateo by the way, Okayo. Yeah yeah. And
yeah when when Seth, like you said, just couldn't get
the job done man having them uh having the Henchman

(55:56):
come out, I got all excited because I was like, oh, yeah, man,
definitely not the only guy with Hedgeman. Uh So it's
kind of cool seeming like to heel factions like kinda collide.
It's always it's always fun because you're like, I don't
care who wins, you know, just at each other. Yeah,
it's just like big men slapping meat man. Just there's

(56:17):
a lot of weight in that ring. Uh, that'd be
an interesting, uh match, as you see.

Speaker 1 (56:25):
I tell you, I hope they explore that beyond just
this match.

Speaker 3 (56:33):
What I also liked is a wrestler like Seth Rawlins
been such a good wrestler, you know, being thrown in
a match with with these guys like Andrade Grand Americano,
you know, Chai Gable, l A Knight, Penta and Solo,
Like I think this was like the perfect mix up
these guys all brought something unique and cool to the

(56:55):
table and said, you don't see guys like Seth Rowlands
the shake it up with some these mid car guys
as much because you know, he's always in the main
events scene. Just some of these guys in general, you
don't get to see mixed it up. And it was
it was. It was great, Like I think it was great.
Had a lot of good spots. You know, you got
the spot where they everybody's up on the ladders. They

(57:17):
have all three ladders, all six guys up there. They
did the they brought out the fireball ladder, so we
got to see what that was used for. I mean
you had to bring it out right, just yeah, had
to point.

Speaker 1 (57:34):
Then they got destroyed and I was thinking to myself,
maybe that was it, and nope, they had a backup. Yeah,
two fireball ladders.

Speaker 3 (57:48):
Yeah, we didn't just have one. We had two. We
had a backup one. Yeah. I mean there's times in
the past where they had unique ladders, like I remember, like, uh,
there's once they had like an extremely short ladder, and
then there is one big show had his own ladder,
the big big ladder. Yeah. So then there's a really

(58:13):
tall ladder like there's always unique versions. But uh hef yeah,
now we're now now it's not fun no more. Now
we're doing logos.

Speaker 1 (58:26):
H h yeah, it's not. It's not fun when you
know they're just doing it for the money, not for
entertainment reasons, not for the product, not to improve the product,
right because somebody cut a check.

Speaker 3 (58:39):
Yeah, So like I didn't, I honestly have to say,
during this match, I did not see the the turn
for for Solo and uh, why might why might drawing
up like here Jacob Jacob, I too, Yeah, I didn't

(59:00):
see that coming. I definitely would have put that in
the cards of happening during this fucking match. You thought
maybe it would happen, you know, during during a raw
episode or.

Speaker 1 (59:14):
Well yea, I know, I see where you're going with it.
For me, the moment I saw Jacob starting to help
Solo out, I was like, oh, he about to turn
on them. Like once everybody was laid out in the
ring and it was just Jacob and Solo and then
Jacob was like, get your ass up, get up and
started helping them. That's when I knew, like, oh, he

(59:36):
about to turn on him right here?

Speaker 3 (59:37):
Mm hmm. Yeah, man, it's like at the end of
the day, it's like, yeah, he does have a title,
like if you get that briefcase, you could be a
threat to me. But there's gotta be more than that
to the story, you know. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (59:53):
I kind of wish they would have done a better
tease of it rather than doing basically the same thing
that they did with and Damage Control last year. Yeah,
where you know Jacob, I mean, Solo's talking shit with
j C. Matteo and then they walk off and then
from behind here it comes Solo. Here comes Jacob. I

(01:00:13):
heard you, YadA YadA, you know, basically repeating the same
thing that Damage Control with Bailey last year, where Damage
Control was talking shit about Bailey. And then as they
walk off around the corner, here comes Bailey with the
look on the face like she heard it all. They
basically repeated the same spot. So, I mean, we all

(01:00:34):
knew the term was gonna come. I just wish they
could have used a little bit more creativity and developing
the turn or teasing it.

Speaker 3 (01:00:45):
I heard uh through the grape vine that we're getting
yet another uh bloodline member.

Speaker 1 (01:00:57):
To replace Solo. Yeah, you gotta replace Jacob.

Speaker 3 (01:01:00):
Yeah, and it's it's happening supposedly this this SmackDown coming
up so tomorrow for us, you know, well tay Thursday.

Speaker 1 (01:01:09):
So I'm surprised to see if that's segment kick off SmackDown.

Speaker 3 (01:01:16):
Yeah yeah, because uh you know, after all we got that,
we gotta I would like to see like Naomi come
out get some time. So there's just some stuff that
wasn't really touched on during rall So yeah, yeah, yeah,
I again, I I enjoyed this match. This is where

(01:01:38):
I thought it really started to pick up. It sucks
that like this is the second to last match where
it decides to pick up. There's a there's a I'm
trying to think of the move that Penta did what
it's called he did it too andrade on on the ladder.

Speaker 1 (01:01:58):
It's like, uh oh the sunset flip power set flip.

Speaker 3 (01:02:03):
I was like that was rough to do on a ladder.

Speaker 1 (01:02:07):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:02:08):
Some of the moves that these guys doing the ladders.

Speaker 1 (01:02:11):
It's crazy.

Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
Yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:02:13):
And it's like like didn't Pitta hit a Didn't Pittsa
hit a Mexican Destroyer on somebody too on a lade?

Speaker 3 (01:02:18):
Yeah yeah, And it's like just just the amount of
damage to some of these guys take just giving it
to the other the other guy, you know, willing to
take that bump to make it look that good. I
don't know if we broke any I guess we did
break some ladders, not in half.

Speaker 1 (01:02:40):
But they broke the first fireball ladder.

Speaker 3 (01:02:43):
Oh yeah, I do remember that fireball ladder.

Speaker 1 (01:02:47):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:02:47):
What the hell? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:02:50):
I mean did not get this year that we got
last year is we got We did not get anybody
go off a ladder through a table.

Speaker 3 (01:02:58):
Yeah that's true, whereas.

Speaker 1 (01:03:00):
Last year we had Chelsea Green take that spot. I
think last.

Speaker 3 (01:03:03):
Year, yeah, well, you know, not everybody can be a
screened Chelsea. So you know, the a lot of people
are I know, I saw some people complaining about why
does seth Rollins need it? Uh, you know, I'm just like,
because like they're gonna they're gonna run it back the

(01:03:27):
we're gonna. I feel like we're gonna run it back
with the heightsts of the century it were, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:03:34):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:03:35):
I think, well, I'll talk more about that when we
get into to Monday Night Raw. But uh, I think
it was the right move have all the people in
this matter. I think it was the right move.

Speaker 1 (01:03:46):
I agree it was the right move. The only downside
to it is that, unlike the women's match, I think
it was pretty blatantly obvious to everybody that Seth Ronins
was gonna win this match, like just looking at the
lineup like it was. It like the women's match, where
you could make a legitimate argument for exactly No, ain't

(01:04:08):
no argument for Andrade, Ain't no argument for Penza, even
if he is hot right now, he's still new and
not a not in title contention territory. Yet, barely an
argument for Solo at this point, especially when heard the
Jacob Pot too. Not much of an argument for Ol

(01:04:28):
Grande Americano really as a money in the bank briefcase holder.
Like the only two people in this match who really
had any kind of legitimate arguments to winning was either
Seth Rollins or l A. Knight.

Speaker 3 (01:04:42):
Absolutely, that was it, absolutely, and I just thought where
Seth Rollins's position right now? I was like, unfortunately, La Night,
You're just you're gonna take a back seat, and it
sucks because.

Speaker 1 (01:04:54):
You're popular, but you ain't on Seth Rollins level at
this point, and ain't much ain't much intrigue in you
walking around with this briefcase threatening to cash it in
on Heel champions.

Speaker 3 (01:05:09):
Yeah, I mean, come on, like, we know, we know
the potential that briefcase has of excitement with Seth Rollins
behind the wheel of it, Like, ain't nobody gonna create
a moment like Seth Rollins. You know when he first
cashed in that first briefcase, it was great, you know,

(01:05:29):
like I'm just going through that WrestleMania miserable thinking. You know,
I'm not gonna be happy to regardless who wins. I'm
just not. I know, I'm not leaving here happy. I
don't care if Brock wins. I don't care if Roman wins.
You know, Rowan was not the guy Brocks never here.
That's how I felt at the time. It's fastly changed

(01:05:49):
the way I look at Roman now. But having Seth
just out of nowhere running down that ramp man just
hold down to that briefcase for the right moment, and
him always being the ship heel just you know, at
any time, you know, he's that asshole who would cash

(01:06:10):
in on you man at your weakest point. He ain't
gonna he ain't gonna come out and make a match like,
oh you know I'm gonna wrestle you next week at
the next pay per view, Like naw Man, Seth is
going to cash in on you when you were broken,
you were a weak and you were vulnerable, and that's
when he's gonna and now that he has muscle and
he has Paul Hayman, Like, it's just I'm excited to

(01:06:34):
where it's going for all these guys because that briefcase
is just also going to help elevate the rest of
the guys in that group, I think, because they're now
a threat as a whole.

Speaker 1 (01:06:49):
So yeah, I mean, and the money in the bank
briefcase pretty much works its best under two circumstances, either
a heel holding it and waiting for the right opportunity
to check, cash in and take advantage of something yep
basically looming as a constant, looming threat, or a babyface

(01:07:10):
winning it to cash in in very quick order against
somebody and finally become a champion. Like, ain't no real
interest in a babyface champion or a babyface holder walking
around with this briefcase for months on and talking about
you never know what I'm gonna take By a moment,
you never know, Like that's that's not how baby faces work.

(01:07:36):
Babyfaces operate on right here, right now, let's do it.
Not I'm gonna wait for the right opportunity. You know.
Opportunism is heel tactics. So anything else on this match, no, man.

Speaker 3 (01:07:58):
Uh again another prediction that I made pretty happy. I
was like, all right, I am three for four.

Speaker 1 (01:08:11):
Yep. So so Hell, I think everybody got that that
prediction right, Yeah, I don't know anybody in their right
mind again that would have picked anybody other than Seth Rollins,
other than the most diehard of L. A. Knight fans.
But anyhow, moving on to the main event, we got
Cody Rose and Jay Uso teaming up against the team

(01:08:35):
of John Cena and Logan Paul. And there ain't no
point in even beating around the bush on this match.
Like there was nothing special about the match. It was typical.
Hell was beating up the good guy, taking advantage of
them until ultimately their egos you know, worked against them

(01:09:00):
into each other's face enough for Cody Jay to make
the tag to Cody, Cody come in and start cleaning house.
YadA YadA YadA, fight fight, fight hero, come back, YadA, YadA.
Heels put a stop to it. I think they have
the advantage. Oh no, they might win. Man in Black
shows up, whooping ass and who is it? Our behavior

(01:09:21):
has returned, The truth has returned to set the WWE free.
Our truth is back top of the night.

Speaker 3 (01:09:34):
Absolutely, Papa, That probably the highlight of the whole pl
To be honest, it really is.

Speaker 1 (01:09:40):
It was the highlight of the whole fucking show.

Speaker 3 (01:09:42):
It was. You know, I kind of enjoyed this match too,
because you know, damn Jay who still got works in
this match, he got worked for a while.

Speaker 1 (01:09:55):
Yeah, and then setting up they were setting us up
for one day.

Speaker 3 (01:09:58):
Oh god, damn poor Ja knowing deep down side, he
knew his future, his fate. Dude, I just saw. I
just saw Cody roase to the star, this star start
us to flip that he does because Logan Paul mox

(01:10:18):
and then does it. Yeah, you're right. They ran They
ran Ja down pretty hard in this match. And then
their egos basically got too big, you know, Jay and
Logan and uh, you know John, their egos got way
too big. Then they could oft worked together to could
get on the same fucking page. Of course, you know,

(01:10:42):
that's that's when the Cody got the hot tag, and
you know that's when everything just changed. This could have
been a raw match, right, Uh, it could have been
a raw match.

Speaker 1 (01:10:56):
This match had nothing going for it other than star power. Yeah,
it's really just keeping and Archer was coming back.

Speaker 3 (01:11:04):
Yeah, you know, the first match Cody's has had since WrestleMania.
You're seeing keeping both the champions World Champions busy but
on the card, and then you know, throwing Logan Paul
in there, like look good for him though, Like Logan
Paul getting himself in this main event with these kind

(01:11:25):
of you know, with both champions and Cody Rose, like,
you know, as much as people hate Logan Paul and
shot on him like I have, over the years have
slowly started fucking defending him, especially as a WW superstar,
because we've seen him man put in the work. This

(01:11:47):
man puts in the work. I've seen him like work
on moves, like he puts in the time to work in,
work on these moves that he wants to do and
pull off.

Speaker 1 (01:11:56):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:11:56):
Uh, his promos probably aren't the best, but his end
ring capability has has fucking vastly improved. And like any
anybody who can come into this this sport, and and
pick it up that quickly. You know, I always praise
so not just you know, his ability, but where his

(01:12:19):
character has been put as well, And he's definitely not
the most I got right.

Speaker 1 (01:12:27):
Yeah, I don't think anybody has doubted his end ring ability.
He's pretty much shown that from day one that he's
a guy that can absolutely perform in the ring. I
think he's what he has shown now over the years
and time is that he can do more than just
hit a cool spot every now and then. He's showing

(01:12:49):
that he's actually starting to understand the psychology of it
now and he can actually work a competent match without
having to be carried as much by the more experienced veterans.
I think that that's where his growth has really starting
to come through now, is that he's not just there

(01:13:13):
to deliver the you know, the crazy spot where he jumps,
you know, halfway across a ring, or jumps from the
turn buckle onto the onto the announced tables or something
crazy like that. Granted, yes, he'll still pull those off,
and they'll still look dope when he does them, but
he can do more than just that now, and that's

(01:13:35):
where his improvement has come still nowhere. You know, he's
still a thousand years away from anybody cheering for his
ass because he's just that fucking unlikable.

Speaker 3 (01:13:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:13:47):
But but you know, but his ring and ring performance
is still to be respected, right, I.

Speaker 3 (01:13:54):
Mean, how if you go your whole career being a
heel whatever boozer also you know, good for business. I mean,
it's all. It's definitely I remember like hearing you know,
the old saying in wrestling, it doesn't matter if they
cheer you or boo you. It's when it's complete silence
is when you should be fucking worried, you.

Speaker 1 (01:14:14):
Know, because that's when they don't care.

Speaker 3 (01:14:16):
That's when they don't care exactly, when they're sitting on
their hands, they're not getting up, they're they're not you're
not vibing with your music, they're not you know, cheering you.
I don't know. There's wrestlers like that that you know
when they come out, they just do not have the
chemistry with the crowd. But that's what you gotta have, man,
whether booze, whether they have to hate you or love you,

(01:14:39):
you know, you can't. Unfortunately, you can't just linger in
between there and just get by it. Just doesn't work
that way in the business. I think, honestly, if I
was a wrestler, I would love to be a heel.
I think I would generate just heat all the time.
It would be so fun to be here. I can't
see why it is fun to be heal.

Speaker 1 (01:14:59):
Yeah, I mean, being a babyface is relatively limiting. Can
only do so much as a babyface, whereas a heel,
you pretty much do whatever the hell you want. Yeah, man,
I just want to do whatever you want, just to
be hated.

Speaker 3 (01:15:13):
Just whatever town I'm in, man, just shit on your town.

Speaker 1 (01:15:18):
As a babyface, you have to you know, you're you're
contained within a box. There are certain things you simply
can't do because that's not Those aren't babyface tactics. That's
not what a babyface does.

Speaker 3 (01:15:30):
And this is this is what this was, man. This
is like the baby super babyfaces versus the super heels.
But uh, I guess, well, that's what they want see
me to be. But like we're not. We're not booming
seen as much as they want us to. Why man,
Like I understand the hell, but this is what we wanted. Okay,
it's hard for me to boom because this is what

(01:15:51):
I've wanted for fucking years. I want Johnson to go
back to his heel persona. I'm not what.

Speaker 1 (01:15:57):
It's just that he's going to get heard by fans
because it's their last time seeing him.

Speaker 3 (01:16:03):
M hm.

Speaker 1 (01:16:04):
The moment that they announced that he announced that this
is his final run, He's only going to get boods
so much because we're also where he's at. Fans know
it's the last time we're going to see him in
that ring. I'll tell you what Lucky said, He's for
him to show up in.

Speaker 3 (01:16:22):
What I'm really enjoying about this retirement tour is the
countdown of days. He's really making you realize how important
his time is that's left, you know, because like on
RAW he's like we're down nineteen days. He's like we're
halfway through this, and and it just just fucking hits me, right,

(01:16:42):
It's like, oh shit, Like he's counting on these days.
And he gave a good promo about like, you know,
stop bringing me these jokes, like you know about art truths,
like stop bringing me these jokes and wrestlers, you don't
waste my time, bring me competition, like I only have
nineteen days left and you're wasting them, like.

Speaker 1 (01:17:03):
And it's kind of wild when you think about it.
As he said, we're halfway through his run, his final run,
and we're also about halfway through the year. They've kind
of done a pretty damn good job of spacing out
his appearances and not making it feel like he's taking
these long breaks.

Speaker 3 (01:17:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:17:25):
Yeah, Like he's felt like he's been a pretty consistent
part of the roster throughout this entire year. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:17:33):
And like for people calling, like, you know, seeing it
a part time champion, you know, just like the Rock
was this word time champion and again.

Speaker 1 (01:17:42):
They yeah, and granted he has not had any matches
on Raw, but he's worked every single POE this year.

Speaker 3 (01:17:50):
Yeah, exactly, like.

Speaker 1 (01:17:52):
Humble, Elimination, Chamber, WrestleMania, Backlash, Uh now money in the Bank?
Am I missing one? Yeah'm missing something? What else was
Backlash or Saturday Night main Event?

Speaker 3 (01:18:05):
Yeah? I mean basically every night night of Champions he's
defended it or at least wrestled, you know. I mean
he's done a lot of running back of old old
uh you know, old fears. But I'm fine with it.
I'm fine with where this, you know, retirement.

Speaker 1 (01:18:24):
Towards going, this is what people wanted, though, this is what.

Speaker 3 (01:18:27):
We want people wanted, and I'm getting.

Speaker 1 (01:18:29):
Into the last one. What did everybody say? We want
sena Orton one last time, we want Scena versus Punk
one last time. These are things we're getting.

Speaker 3 (01:18:38):
Yeah, you're right, dude, You're absolutely fucking right. Yeah, you
know what, Like, uh, I'm good with this match. Do
you want to put anything else in before we roll
into roll? No?

Speaker 1 (01:18:50):
Because, like I said, the highlight of this match was
the return of our Truth, which I will say a
lot of people wouldn't initially happen. Everybody thought we were
getting worked everybody. That was the initial reaction from everybody,
like yo, ww just worked the shit out of us.
They played the funk out of us. You know, they
did not. Apparently this is a deal that came through

(01:19:13):
in the last minute. I think they said, like within
the last What I've seen of the story is that
it came happened within the last seventy two hours, so
pretty much the last three days. So I'm guessing it,
you know, after the reaction in the backlash, apparently our
truth was well, Ron, let's go ahead and call him
Ron now. Ron. Apparently Ron was ghosting WWE. He wasn't

(01:19:35):
returning their phone calls or anything at all. He was
just letting them feel the backlash, letting them feel the
outrage from the fans and the backlash apparently from within
the locker room itself that the roster wasn't happy about
it either, and let them feel that. And it took
Nick Con to get involved for things to finally move

(01:19:59):
towards a resolution and getting Ron re signed. Mm hmmm.
So no, they did not work us. They did not
play us. If anything, Ron Killings worked WWE.

Speaker 3 (01:20:16):
Yeah. I like how the post show interview asked Triple
H about, you know, you know, was this a work
or whatever? And he just and I was like, nah, man,
you guys stumbled into some fucking something fucking wonderful here
and you're just running with it.

Speaker 1 (01:20:37):
I don't even think they stumbled into ship. They miscalculated.
They they they tried to make a decision based off
money instead of people. Yep. And when you're only thinking
with your wallet, you're gonna end up making fucked up
decisions or dumb decisions like this. And it bit him
in the ass. Yeah, they're like, we gotta make a
money decision, but you know, And and this is one

(01:21:00):
thing that as much as you know we may not
want to praise Vince for, this is one most people
will probably look at this to say, Vince would not
have made this kind of decision.

Speaker 3 (01:21:12):
M hmm. Yeah, I believe that.

Speaker 1 (01:21:15):
He would not have let this kind of like, if
I'm going, if I got to trim the fat, if
I'm going, if I got to cut the roster, there
are plenty of other names that I can let go
of before I let go of Ron Killings.

Speaker 3 (01:21:27):
Yeah, I absolutely agree. Man, That's one thing that Vince
was pretty good at was trimming the fat, getting rid
of guys who were collecting checks, who shunk for a while.

Speaker 1 (01:21:40):
I won't bringing anything to the table, but still either
appreciating his long tenured stars or guys that still brought
something to the table. And even if, even if you
know our truth as he existed, was never going to
be a world champion caliber athlete or world champion level star,

(01:22:03):
he still brought plenty of value to that company, to
that locker room.

Speaker 3 (01:22:09):
H Yeah. And I'll insert it at the end of
the show. But I do have his promo of him
talking about, you know, being the clown you know, being
our truth as the clown. That that guy is gone, man,
And I do like the fact that our truth got fired.
But Ron Killing's got hired, you know, uh.

Speaker 1 (01:22:32):
At this point as much as we talking about it. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:22:34):
Yeah, And he cut his hair, which which, by the way,
his hair to begin with was hanging on by a thread.

Speaker 1 (01:22:41):
But uh in certain some certain thing. Yeah, the dreads
weren't not weren't as full as they once were, which yeah,
I mean you look at it for a while and
be like a brother, might be time to start. Don't
take it to the house on them dreads. Yeah, he
actually did it, though. Yeah, I fucking jaw hit the floor.

Speaker 3 (01:23:04):
I decided everybody else. Yeah, I mean that's that's a
serious shocking move for his character. Like, okay, he's serious
like the art. And you know what, though I always
thought getting rid of Archer, I never thought his character
could ever go back to being something serious and I

(01:23:26):
thought he was too far gone as a clown, because
I do recall him being a serious contender. I do
recall him tagging with the Miz going against the Rock
and John Cena at Survivor series, you know, like I
I do recall that, but still like he that's where
he was, man, that's where he That's where he was.

(01:23:48):
That's the where he was playing at like he was
playing in the main event with the Rock and John
scene at the time as a heel, like he wasn't
a joke, you know, don't get me wrong. I loved
everything this man has ever fucking done with this company,
every skin that he's ever done. There's there's hits and
misses with me because I go back and when I
watched them in like a bunch like at once, there

(01:24:12):
are ones that have made me fucking laugh. I notably won.

Speaker 13 (01:24:18):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:24:18):
They were doing like a tables it was it tables,
lines and chairs match and they go to pull a
table out. I think Orton pulls the table out or
somebody and our truth is laying on the table as
they pull it out from under the ring. Like I
was dying, you know, him showing up to the Royal
Rubble with a ladder or you know if they get
some money in the bank, like just man, I just

(01:24:41):
just shit like that. He just had me dying all
the time, you know, the way he would uh, I
don't know, mispronounced people's names or whatever, like always funny,
always always funny. I'm glad he's back, and I'm glad
uh he's doing a character change. I think it's absolutely
wild that he's gonna get Like people are thinking, like,

(01:25:04):
you know, a bigger run at fifty something years old,
like fifty three or whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:25:08):
He is, like, that's what That's where I'm at. That's
what I'm hoping for right there. I pray that they
actually give him a serious run now, that this isn't
just a you know, a flash in the pan, Like
I'm serious now and I'm gonna go out here and
I'm gonna talk serious, but still just lose the fucking time.

Speaker 3 (01:25:27):
Right, exactly where are we going?

Speaker 4 (01:25:28):
Who?

Speaker 3 (01:25:28):
You're gonna be like?

Speaker 1 (01:25:30):
Right? What they need to ride this thing all the way? Yeah,
let him, Let him take it all the way if
at least at least a serious, legitimate world title or
ww title shot. Not that bullshit we got on Saturday

(01:25:50):
Night main event where everybody knew he had zero chance
of winning anything, but it's like, you do it for
the boots. They shut the fuck up with doubleshit a
serious fucking match where people go into that match and
think he might legitimately win this, and he gets a
legitimate shot. As long as as long as he gets

(01:26:12):
a serious, legitimate shot enough to make me think he
might actually win, I'll be satisfied. Even if he ends
up coming up short. I would love it for him
to win the title and get a championship run. I
think he deserves it, and I think with the fans
behind him right now, there's definitely all the potential in

(01:26:33):
the world to get there. But as long as he's serious,
even if he comes up short in the end, I'll
be satisfied just as long as they book him with
the respect that he deserves.

Speaker 3 (01:26:50):
Right any I absolutely agree. Let me get in here,
like what else kind of on on Monday night? Raw?

Speaker 9 (01:27:17):
M m.

Speaker 3 (01:27:28):
M m oh, it's me, It's me. It's the d
O y L E.

Speaker 8 (01:27:37):
Hello pc W universe. I am still working my arse off.

Speaker 1 (01:27:42):
Hopefully that will not last too much longer.

Speaker 8 (01:27:45):
But I thought I would drop in I give you
my thoughts on Money in the Bank. But first, man,
it was World's Collide fun.

Speaker 1 (01:27:53):
Uh.

Speaker 8 (01:27:55):
I can't remember the last time I had that much
fun watching a wrestling program.

Speaker 5 (01:27:59):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:28:00):
Really good shit there.

Speaker 1 (01:28:02):
So that was a great show.

Speaker 8 (01:28:04):
Onto money in the Bank real quick, let's see I
got half of this right and half of it wrong.
Start with the women's match, Naomi one, that's what I called,
That's what I thought she'd it happened, and I was
looking forward to this match more than the men's, but.

Speaker 1 (01:28:21):
I thought the men's match was better.

Speaker 8 (01:28:25):
This match was about twenty five minutes long, and it
was just too long, and it felt it just felt
like going from one spot to another spot, to another spot,
to another spot to another spot until Naomi eventually won.
That just wasn't a lot of connective tissue to kind
of bring it all together.

Speaker 1 (01:28:44):
So that was kind of disappointing to me. But I
think Naomi was absolutely the.

Speaker 8 (01:28:47):
Right choice, and I think she's gonna be a lot
of fun. She's already been fun with the briefcase. If
you saw the little video of her going through the
contents of her briefcase, which included, amongst other things, ungon,
a knife, a Jimmy USSO action figure.

Speaker 1 (01:29:05):
Uh so that was good. What was next?

Speaker 8 (01:29:09):
Uh Dom and octing On? I think, uh the me
in this match, this card needed another match, So that
was good. Uh good to tie this card, the money
in the Bank card into Worlds Collide. I also thought
was good. Maybe in retrospect, Iguana might have been the

(01:29:29):
better choice than Octagon Junior, uh, just because he seems
to be blowing up.

Speaker 1 (01:29:35):
But I guess they probably couldn't.

Speaker 8 (01:29:36):
Have known that quite just yet. Uh you know, a
quick little match, gets Dom on the car and gets
Dom will win.

Speaker 3 (01:29:43):
Nothing really to see here, but nothing bad either. What
was next? Oh, the Battle of the Irish Lads.

Speaker 8 (01:29:50):
Lass is not lads if they were lad so that
would be okay. Yeah, I mean I picked Lyra to
win this. Uh, great match, I thought. I guess Becky
Lennon makes sense. And now Bailey's back. Lyra didn't seem
too thrilled.

Speaker 3 (01:30:08):
To see her though. I could maybe see a world where.

Speaker 8 (01:30:12):
Lyra ends up siding with Becky against Bailey or something
I don't know, being interesting to see where that goes
going forward. Men's money in the Bank. This was the
better money in the Bank match, I thought, even though
I was not looking forward to it as much as
I was.

Speaker 3 (01:30:27):
The women's again got the winner, right seth.

Speaker 8 (01:30:31):
And even though this match was longer than the women's match,
it didn't feel longer.

Speaker 1 (01:30:36):
This was really great stuff.

Speaker 8 (01:30:37):
This kind of felt like what money in the bank
should feel like even though I think money in the
bank should remain, should have remained at WrestleMania.

Speaker 1 (01:30:45):
But you're hearing right there.

Speaker 3 (01:30:47):
But yeah, real fun match.

Speaker 8 (01:30:50):
I think Seth was the right way to go.

Speaker 3 (01:30:52):
Uh.

Speaker 8 (01:30:54):
I thought he was going to cash in on Jay
after j Bat Gunther, but obviously that didn't happen.

Speaker 1 (01:31:00):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 8 (01:31:00):
What the fuck is going on with the World Heavyweight
Championship seeing at the moment, I mean, obviously love Gunther,
not a huge J fan. Interesting the Jay to build
to the J match to build rather from the royal
rumble to WrestleMania was about twice as long as Jay's
title reign ended up being.

Speaker 1 (01:31:20):
It's kind of weird.

Speaker 8 (01:31:21):
I'm sure there's a plan to continue to elevate j uh.
Kind of unclear what that is at the moment. We
shall see, But of course I love the ring general
being back as the World Heavyweight Champion again his rightful place.
As for the tag match, this was kind of a
match of Tale of two halves, if you will. Uh,

(01:31:44):
this was just dragon ass boring as fuck, I thought
until Cody got that hot tag and the whole thing changed.
Turn around, and you know that that Jay Jay getting
the heat segment. He could have chopped five minutes off
of that. You know, if that first half had been
a little tighter, this might.

Speaker 3 (01:32:04):
Have been as as as.

Speaker 8 (01:32:09):
Joe Test likes to say, everything is an instant classic,
this was kind of an instant classic if you cut
out the first half of it, because the second half
was just great balls to the wall all you know,
uh foot on the gas, really good shit the only
thing and you know, of course great to see truth back,
but it's always weird when a babyface interferes on behalf

(01:32:31):
of a baby vas like Cody shouldn't need that help, right,
but no time of hearing her their truth going forward?
I guess obviously it's a big story coming out of
the match. Who knew this was coming. I am a
little concerned because he's beloved, but he's beloved as the goofball,
and yes, we have wanted to see the serious side

(01:32:53):
and so I think he will get some leeway with
the audience. But I just hope he can pull it off.
That would be my big concerned but definitely looking forward
to seeing where that goes. You know, I think he
deserves all the everything coming to him, all his flowers
as they say, because man, I mean, this guy's been
on the roster forever.

Speaker 3 (01:33:15):
And maybe he can do that.

Speaker 8 (01:33:18):
Ron the truth killing is kind of like what he
was in TNA. I never really watched a hell of
a lot of that, but I've seen a few of
the matches, but that was how long ago? Twenty years ago,
fifteen years ago, something like that. So let's see if
he's still can pull it off.

Speaker 1 (01:33:33):
I hope he can.

Speaker 8 (01:33:34):
I have faith, but I'm not sure how much faith
I have in mister Levac at the moment.

Speaker 3 (01:33:40):
So Jerry's out on that one.

Speaker 8 (01:33:43):
I guess that's all for now. Boys, I hope you
had a good show and I will pretty much have
the rest of the summer off, so I'll be around.

Speaker 1 (01:33:54):
Fuck Phil, go Red Sox.

Speaker 8 (01:33:56):
I'll see you guys later.

Speaker 14 (01:33:58):
Bye, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages,
Welcome back to this little promo.

Speaker 12 (01:34:14):
I have to give one. You know what it's gonna
be about. Yeah, just sit here and listen. You made
it this far into the show. What we're gonna talk
about is something very important. It's social media. Why aren't
you part of the Twitter page, the Instagram page, our Facebook.

Speaker 15 (01:34:32):
Page, Join Share, and you know what you get in there.
We'll send you a link to the discord. What's the discord?
It's where you can talk to us all day about wrestling,
not just that. How about you go to our website,
podcast Championship Wrestling one pulliam.

Speaker 3 (01:34:52):
Dot com where you can leave her you not just
a review, you can right into the show. You kind
of question, We'll answer it. But it doesn't stop there.
Oh no, if it doesn't, we offer so much more.
Do you want to be on the show? Do you
want to shoot the ship with Dre Doyle and right

(01:35:16):
be yes music, He's like, but it doesn't stop there.
Guys saying you gotta go plarstling, stop and buy a pie.
We don't have one. We don't want to, thank God,

(01:35:37):
we don't have dream but we do have four fell
your t shirts florestas out the guys, So what they
have you made it this smart? Are you a man?
Or one? Are you a fucking mark? Can tell them

(01:36:03):
times now. We were talking about it before. They're going

(01:36:24):
to be running back old feuds, and one that they're
going to be running back is the John CNN CM
punk feud. It's often could be cited as one of
the greatest, one of the greatest rifle reason WW history
was a significant period of their careers. It was built
on a clash of personas seen the clean cut corporate
star and the and Punk the anti establishment rebel. The

(01:36:48):
feud involved memorable feuds over the WW Championship, culminating in
Punk's shocking victory and money in the bank in twenty eleven,
which to me, I so memorable. Punk's run in twenty
eleven the summer Punk basically, uh, you know, one of

(01:37:08):
Johnston has many great feuds. So they're they're basically just
running this back, like you know you He's like, you
know you only have like nineteen days left to you?
Is when? When?

Speaker 1 (01:37:21):
And where?

Speaker 3 (01:37:21):
Because He's like, I want my I want I want
to run this back. I want to wrestle again. And
I'm just like yes, yes, yes, like I'm all for it. Yeah.
I guess there were some tweets a couple of years
ago about Punk not wanting to go to Saudi or something,

(01:37:42):
but I feel like this was more of a character tweet.
I didn't think it was personal, but you know, they
they brought I guess Johnson had brought that up. Is
like he's just going to go against your morals and
come to Saudi Arabia, So you know, that's where we're
gonna that's where we're gonna get seen in punkas in Saudi,

(01:38:04):
which to me sometimes sucks because I always felt like
everything happened Saudi was never like it's not cannon. You know,
we have like imaginary titles there and we have you know,
the greatest Rumbles and whatever there, and they don't fucking
mean ship. Once to get back to mainland, you know,
like we we had what did we have last year?

(01:38:26):
We had Cody Bete Kunter Champion versus Champion.

Speaker 1 (01:38:30):
But yeah, and.

Speaker 3 (01:38:33):
We got back and that kind of meant nothing.

Speaker 1 (01:38:36):
What the hell they call those titles the.

Speaker 3 (01:38:40):
U Greatest Champion of All, I don't fucking know, ysputed. Yeah,
there's always a long length together.

Speaker 1 (01:38:52):
Crown Champion, Crown Cup Champion or some I don't know,
some some bullshit that don't mean.

Speaker 3 (01:38:57):
Ship exactly because it once you come back.

Speaker 1 (01:39:01):
Quest Champion, that's what we call them.

Speaker 3 (01:39:03):
Yeah, once we come back to Mayland, we come back
to the States. It's never brought not even the next
episode of Raw or SmackDown is not brought out talked
about bron Showman wasn't aware that we got that title.

Speaker 1 (01:39:17):
Yeah he didn't, And Live and Cody weren't rocking their titles.
They the title state is in Saudi Arabia. They got
rings to those titles.

Speaker 3 (01:39:27):
Well, yes, you won these titles, but you cannot take
them with you to give them back. We will give
you a ring, though, Like what, Yes, we will give
you a ring. You thought they were leaving with these titles.
They are worth so much money, there are worth two islands. Yeah,

(01:39:52):
so yeah, I'm excited for that for you to run back,
I don't know about you. Man.

Speaker 1 (01:39:57):
Looking forward to the match itself, I mean, well almost,
I'm looking forward to seeing how the story plays out.
Almost got to have myself say I was looking forward
to the match itself. I'm looking forward to the story, right,
because I'm not about to let it escape me that
we're talking about two guys in their late forties almost
fifty having a match. Yeah, both of them are in

(01:40:22):
their late forties, Yeah, making a match. Yeah, one of
whom very much has protects himself because he has Hollywood obligations.

Speaker 3 (01:40:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:40:32):
Yeah, So the story should be great, the build up
should be great, The actual in ring action of the
match itself. Yeah, don't get your hopes up too much.

Speaker 3 (01:40:46):
Yeah, you just grounded me. But no, you're right, though, Man,
you're right.

Speaker 1 (01:40:51):
I shouldn't have although I will say I will say
though in their defense. Yeah, the little scuffle that they
had in the elimination chamber, they mixed it up for
a little bit. Yeah, they looked good there. Yeah, So
I mean if they can, if they can take that
and extend that to a full match, then maybe we'll
get something good. Maybe we'll actually get a good match
out of them.

Speaker 3 (01:41:09):
And that's what I mean, Like, this is what I
mean my good storytelling, because like we're talking all the
way elimination chamber, we kind of got like a little
tease of it and you kind of got the crowds reaction.
That's a good time to like feel out, Like, you know,
maybe that was a good time. They were like, maybe
we should try to feel out this feud again, see
if people want it. And we got a little bit

(01:41:30):
of these two weeah exchange in hands and the chamber,
and we liked it. Man. We were like yes, yes, yes, yeah,
you're right, man, these guys are a lot older. We
gotta I can't let my expectations be high. But the story, dude,
the promos are gonna be so good. These guys are
gonna cut through. I really feel like maybe one of

(01:41:52):
the best promos of the year could be in this feud.
Could be because these guys know each other so well,
They have so much dirt on each other to cut.
Each of them have each other's good number. Yeah, dude, like.

Speaker 1 (01:42:05):
They don't have to each other. This past Monday yep. Yeah,
just a promo that that punk caught on scene of
this past Monday was a damn good promo.

Speaker 3 (01:42:15):
I know, I know, dude, and that's why I'm I'm
pretty I'm pretty psyched about it. Uh, I'm excited just
for the next promo. These two are gonna fucking cut
on each other, so all right.

Speaker 15 (01:42:29):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:42:29):
Also, they started the King and Queen Ring of the
King of the Ring Queen of the Ring tournament, so
we're getting, uh, qualifying matches, I guess yeah, I'm gonna
run down just the line up here. For the men's
we got Sammy versus h oh well, fatal four ways.

(01:42:51):
I'm sorry, Fatal four ways. Yeah, and that does seem
super rushed. Yeah, it's because I mean, I don't think
you win in the video game to do four fatal
four ways.

Speaker 1 (01:43:06):
Yeah, I mean, well that's what they It's what they
have to do given what timeline they're working with with
the finals happening at at a night of champions. Like,
I mean, I pretty much spelled it out on Raw
this past Monday what the schedules is probably going to
be and not saying it's definitely gonna be. What it's
probably gonna be is we got two qualifying matches on Raw. Yep, well,

(01:43:30):
two qualifying matches this week. We got one man, one
woman this week on Raw, right with Sammy's ain winning
his match, and uh who came out of the women's
match It was a Champerez in a shocking advancement.

Speaker 3 (01:43:49):
Yeah, dude, I thought.

Speaker 1 (01:43:50):
I'm surprised that they actually put it on her, and
I'm actually glad that they did. But we got those
two Monday, yep. We're probably gonna get the other two
this Friday on spack Down, and then okay, next week
we'll get the semifinals. No, no, no, yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:44:09):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're right, semifinals.

Speaker 1 (01:44:12):
Yeah, we'll get the semi finals matches probably next week
and then.

Speaker 3 (01:44:23):
Sorry, will have the finals. Yeah, yeah, Women's Fatal four
Way was Ria Kyrie saying live Morgan, the Rox and Perez. Yeah,
you're right, man, definitely did not see that that win coming. Again,
Everybody predicting Riya maybe for this Mommy of the Ring

(01:44:44):
or something, you know, Nope, live Morgan, Nope, fucking Kyrie
saying nope, Rox and Perez. I like it, dude, I
love the fucking the the mix up here. Next Fatal
four Ways, Jake Cargole, me, Chen Piper and Nevin and

(01:45:04):
Nya Jacks after.

Speaker 1 (01:45:08):
That, which prediction is probably going to be Jake Cargill.

Speaker 3 (01:45:11):
That's what I'm thinking too. Next one is Flair, Alexa Bliss,
Chelsea Green and uh oh joh, Laura Laray. What's the
name Canisler Ray? No, damn it Johnny Gargana's wife.

Speaker 1 (01:45:33):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's Cannis Lora. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:45:36):
I'm just thinking. I'm thinking, uh.

Speaker 1 (01:45:46):
It's gonna be Nia Jacks.

Speaker 3 (01:45:48):
No, No, And I'm talking with the Flair, Alexa Bliss,
Green and and cancelor Ray. I listen, it's crazy Chelsea Green.

Speaker 1 (01:46:02):
Oh yeah, yeah, right, Flair.

Speaker 3 (01:46:05):
I think Flair and Alexa Bliss are too big.

Speaker 1 (01:46:07):
It's either gonna be Alexa, or it could be Alexa
Bliss or Chelsea Green. I don't think it's gonna be Charlotte,
just because looking at the final match on that side
of the bracket, which is Oscar, Stephanie Vaquier, Raquel Rodriguez,
and Ivy Nile, I'm almost certain Sephanie Vicaire is gonna

(01:46:29):
come out of that match, and I don't see them
giving us Charlotte Flair versus Sephanie Vaquier this early.

Speaker 3 (01:46:41):
Yeah. Yeah, so that's a.

Speaker 1 (01:46:43):
P L level match. I don't see them giving that
away on an episode of SmackDown.

Speaker 3 (01:46:48):
Oh but you know what is Hey, guys, Oscar's returning
next week, right, Yeah, let's not put a fucking question
mark that make things exciting for a whole fucking week's.

Speaker 1 (01:47:03):
Random mystery dude in a match. Fuck random mystery dude.
But let everybody know Oscar's returning.

Speaker 3 (01:47:12):
It makes sense, Yeah, make it makes sense.

Speaker 1 (01:47:15):
Whatever the dude is is not going to be that
big of a shock. It's either gonna it's pretty much
going to be one of two people. It's either going
to be Ron Killings, which will get a huge pop,
or I've got a who the person I was thinking
of that it could possibly be the person, huh, I

(01:47:38):
remember that I was thinking of. But it's probably going
to be Ron Killings. That would be I guess. If
you want to make it, if you want to give
it a big pop, make that mystery person be Roy.
But yes, oth sides and then when we got the

(01:47:59):
shock of Oscar turning in, the match could have added
some hype to it and could have made some intrigue
like oh shit, asking this match. She might come back
and win it. Yep, But I doubt that. Like I said,
I don't see I don't see Stephanie vicer versus Charlotte
Flair happing in the semifinals because one of them got
to win. And I don't think they're gonna knock down

(01:48:21):
I don't think they're gonna job out the care to Charlotte.
And I don't know if Charlotte is going to put
over Stephanie Vicarett either at this not at this point.
She probably fucking should if you asked me.

Speaker 3 (01:48:35):
But yeah, I mean.

Speaker 1 (01:48:41):
Might make for a fun spot of Charlotte trying to
put pit her long back attack versus Lucair's Devil's Kiss. Yeah,
that would make for some intrigue, but it's probably gonna
be I think it's probably gonna be Chelsea List coming
out of that one, and then one of them going
on to Stephanie Vicaire. Yeah, and then my pick for
the finals I think I had. I think I picked

(01:49:04):
Stephanie Vicuaer versus.

Speaker 3 (01:49:11):
D Stephane or do you think versus Stephanie.

Speaker 1 (01:49:18):
I could yeah, yeah, yeah, I think I could see
Roxane Perez versus Stephanie Vacare in the finals of the
King of Rings tournament. I thought it might be Jay
Cargill versus Stephanie Vicaerer, which I maybe I won't rule out.
It's still possible given that it is Night of Champions.
I mean, that's that is a match worthy of that

(01:49:39):
of that type of show, Like, that's definitely a match
of that caliber and which definitely could go either way.
And then I, oh, man, that could go either way
because I could see the scenario where j Cargill wins it,

(01:50:00):
gets her match at Summer Slam, and then they do
that hype up where she's facing maybe Tiffany Stratton at
Summer Slam, because they've been teasing that for a little
while a little bit hinting at it, and then we
get Jade versus Tiffany at SummerSlam, although to me that

(01:50:20):
match just doesn't say SummerSlam though. Now Jay Cargo Versustifty Stratton,
like they're both too new, they both don't have that
even though they're both bright stars, they're both popular and
both over. I just don't know one. I don't know
that they will put two baby faces against each other
like that, Like the fans just refuse to boo Tiffany

(01:50:46):
Stratton even though she acts so bitchy all the time
and not in an endearing way. Yeah, and Jay Cargill
is still very much over with the fans, So I mean,
how do you book that kind of a match, Like
who's who would be the antagonist? So that's the one

(01:51:09):
argument against it. Also, again to both of them still
being fairly new to where that type of matchup doesn't
really carry the kind of weight that you would think
it would for a Summer Slam. But there's the possibility
of the match happening, Jade Cargott winning and then Naomi
immediately cashing in on her a summer and Jade and
Naomi walking out of Summer Slam as the new w

(01:51:31):
w Women's Champion. So that's why I'm kind of like
it could go either way. Stephanie Vacaerr if she comes
out as the champion, then who do you pit her against?

Speaker 3 (01:51:45):
Right?

Speaker 1 (01:51:46):
You know? She well, she'd be the Raw Champions. She's
on the Raw brand, so presumably she'd be facing challenging
for the Women's World title, Stephanie mcaer versus the Yo Sky.
That match would be absolute fun fire. But you build
it up, yeah, like the match yourself would cook in

(01:52:08):
the ring, those two cutting loose, that's a that's a
show stealing match. But I just don't know how you
build it up.

Speaker 3 (01:52:19):
Well, this is definitely potential for them to put her
on the fucking map. I mean, like, don't get me wrong,
I think I think Stephanie would be a great choice
to be Queen of the Ring. But I'm also pulling
for Chelsea Green. I know it's crazy, it's a crazy pick,
but I think if it's the fucking gimmick, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:52:43):
But then you got to deal with the thing of
she lost her US title, can't get her your own
US title back for shit, but now has a guaranteed
ww Women's title shot again again.

Speaker 3 (01:52:54):
Keep forgetting that I keep forgetting that that's the payoff.
It's not so us King of the Queen. But yeah,
you're right that the titles shot so different.

Speaker 1 (01:53:06):
Yeah, because this one's much more rigid. It's not like
the Rumble Win where they get to choose who they face. Like, no,
whoever they win, they have they're facing that brand's champion.
That's why they have their names in red or blue
borders around them. Yep, lets you know what brand they represent.
So whoever comes out, it's either gonna be a for
the area, challenging for the w W Women's Championship if

(01:53:29):
it's SmackDown, or the Women's World Championship if they're on Raw.
All right, but then it's also the way it's formatted,
it's probably going to be somebody, Like it's not gonna
be a SmackDown versus SmackDown in the final or Raw
versus Raw. So one of these sides is gonna somebody

(01:53:51):
from Raw is gonna make it to the finals, and
on the other side, it's gonna be somebody from SmackDown.

Speaker 3 (01:53:55):
Mm hmm. So yeah, absolutely right about that. That's the
only way it's gonna end.

Speaker 1 (01:54:01):
It's right, they're always gonna have any intrigue one from
each side, So that pretty much rules out Jay Cargill
versus Chelsea Green.

Speaker 3 (01:54:10):
Yeah right, you're right.

Speaker 1 (01:54:13):
It rules out a Stephanie Vicker versus Roxane Perez final
because they're both raw.

Speaker 3 (01:54:25):
All right, let's uh, well I want.

Speaker 1 (01:54:27):
You I don't think I could be I could brainstorm
about this in the next thirty minutes.

Speaker 3 (01:54:32):
All right, look, well we did mention Bailey is back,
uh looking fine as ever, so we're gonna see her
inject herself into the Intercontinental title scene. We also so
saw l A. Knight. Looks like he might be starting
a feud with some Bloodline members. Uh, that'll be not

(01:54:53):
Bloodline members, Seth Rollins faction. Yeah, so I would like
to see Seth Rowlinson and you know, Ellie and Nico
at it. I think that'd be fucking interesting. Promos would
be pretty interesting. Also, we got a Nikki Bella returned

(01:55:14):
and it looks like she needs to make those alimony payments, so, uh,
she might be feuding with Live Morgan at evolution. Looks
like we're finally getting a second evolution. She was there
for the first one.

Speaker 1 (01:55:30):
Yea, and there's now rumors that her sister Breed may
be coming back to join her as well, so you
know what possibly be dealing with the Breed, I mean
the breath Bello twins versus maybe live in Raquelle.

Speaker 3 (01:55:45):
Honestly, I'm fine with it. The women's the tag team
division needs some sort of injection of something. I'm for it, dude,
I'm listen, listen. Unpopular opinion because I'm always that guy, right,
being a mark for for fucking wrestlers like Charlotte, Right,
But I'm also before I was a mark for Charlotte,

(01:56:07):
I was a mark for fucking Nicky Bella. Maybe not
so much pre Bella, but I didn't you know, I
always thought like the tag titles eluded them, right, something
that happened like right after they left. Basically, but the
women's tag division needs something. And if she's gonna be
on the roster, i'd rather her and breebe be doing

(01:56:28):
something tag division than doing something in the main title picture.
So if this is where you want to put them,
maybe elevate the tag titles, go for it. Go for it.
I with that said, because there's two.

Speaker 1 (01:56:46):
More things that we agree that the women's tag titles
need something. Yeah, that's something ain't the fucking bellots Wins.

Speaker 3 (01:56:54):
I knew this is gonna be some pushback.

Speaker 1 (01:56:56):
Let's go, let's say then hate the bellots Wins.

Speaker 3 (01:56:59):
Like what else?

Speaker 1 (01:57:02):
For me, I've completely given up on the women's tag
titles like that. They're they're just placeholder belts so that
somebody can hold a belt while not actually holding a
belt that matters. Like liv Morgan is clearly a main
event level talent, and if she's not gonna be in

(01:57:22):
the the Women's World Title or ww Women's Title picture,
this is the way to keep her still a quote
unquote champion, giving her some sort of merch to walk
around with at all these public appearances that she's doing,
you know, whether she's showing up on Complex, go sneaker shopping.
She got that Women's World title, I mean that women's

(01:57:44):
tag title on her shoulder. She's going out to Japan
filming filming movies. She's got that Women's World I mean
that Women's tag team title on her belt on her shoulder.
So to me, that's pretty much all this is. It's
I've given up on it. I've given up on the
women's tag division. It's it's it ain't ship it ain't
gonna be shipped. If freaking Bianca and Jade Cargill couldn't

(01:58:10):
keep it going, the fuck the Bellatwins gonna do. Like
the last time that those belts were even remotely interesting
was when Bianca and Jade had them and they were
defending them like that's the that was the closest them
belts have gotten to being interesting.

Speaker 3 (01:58:32):
M hm.

Speaker 1 (01:58:34):
So now I've given up on it. I'm done with it.
If we do get a tag team match for the
UH Women's Tag Team Championships, I hope Nikki and Raquel
keep them, even though we know they ain't gonna do
ship with them. Mm hmmm, because no, no, the Bellatwins

(01:58:56):
are not the saviors that the tag division needs. Like,
who the fuck does do live in? Raquel even have
to defend against me, like.

Speaker 3 (01:59:10):
There's nobody, nobody, there's nobody, and and sucks. There's so
many women on the fucking ros set, so many.

Speaker 1 (01:59:17):
Yeah, so many women, but no tag teams. There's just
people they throw together. They had Caden and Katana, who
were a legitimate women's tag team and they fucking released them. Yep, yeah,
Kyrie saying is back now, which makes me fearful that EO,
given that they haven't done much a shit with her

(01:59:39):
title reign as a right, like, has she even defended it?

Speaker 7 (01:59:43):
She?

Speaker 1 (01:59:43):
I don't think she's even defended it since she won
it at WrestleMania. She maybe had maybe one defense, but
she's barely defended it. She's just holding it. And then
she shows up the Nikki Bella shows up all raw,
and EOS like, I appreciate that you're done, and you know,
freaking kissing the ring of Nikki fucking Bella, like really,

(02:00:07):
like really, it almost makes me fearful that they're gonna
take the title off of EO and then throw them
back and throw her and Kyrie Saying in the tag
division and probably make them the ones to dethrone Live
in Raquel, and then you'll have EO again, another former

(02:00:27):
champion who's a main event level person who is not
in the title picture but still deserves to have a
title now holding this meaningless tag title.

Speaker 3 (02:00:35):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (02:00:40):
I don't know, right, I.

Speaker 3 (02:00:41):
Got you all fired up, man about the women's tag division.
I know it's gonna work.

Speaker 1 (02:00:46):
It's gotta be annoyed about the damn women's tag division.

Speaker 3 (02:00:49):
I knew because like when she came out or was
it that or when she was in? I think it was. Yeah,
they're on that whole segment. I saw my discord light now.
I was like, ah, shit, Jas go on times and
Nicki Bella apart not a good way.

Speaker 1 (02:01:03):
Wasn't even me. He was still talking about the freaking
uh king and queen of the ring. Yeah during that segment,
I don't think we were saying ship about Nikki Bellah.

Speaker 3 (02:01:16):
Yeah, well, I saw my discord lighting up. I was
wondering if people were tearing it apart. Uh. You know what, Uh,
I'll give you some negative points here about Raw our
Women's World Champion of sky back where she's always at
just fucking backstage man, just backstage segments. We talked about

(02:01:43):
how they spoiled Oscar's return somehow Austin Theory and Grayson
Waller are still a tag team when all they do
is tease about breaking up and they're still a team. Hell,
you know, Jacob joined the butt Line and has now
broken up with the Bloodline in a matter of you know,

(02:02:03):
these fucking this tag team never breaking up. We got
announcement that WrestleMania is going back to Las Vegas. I
believe this is the first time ever.

Speaker 1 (02:02:19):
Boo.

Speaker 3 (02:02:20):
Yeah, I feel like this is the first time we've
ever gone back to back. Uh too, is it first time?

Speaker 1 (02:02:29):
They? Yeah, the first time they did it since WrestleMania
four and five. We're held back to back I think
in Jersey somewhere. Yeah, WrestleMania four and five were held
back to back in the same location.

Speaker 3 (02:02:50):
Damn yeah, I mean, wasn't it supposed to go back
to Where? Was this supposed to go to? New Orleans?

Speaker 1 (02:03:00):
Yeah? Jersey? Yeah? Four and five were both held in uh,
Atlantic City, New Jersey at Atlantic City Convention Hall formerly
known as Trump Plaza. Yeah, yeah, that was four and five.
But that's that's the last time WrestleMania was helped back
to back in the same location. It was supposed to
be in fucking New Orleans because that's where we were

(02:03:23):
thinking of actually going. Like I was thinking of going
to New Orleans, even if I wasn't going to go
to WrestleMania itself. I was gonna I was planning to
be in town for it that week and attending everything else.
I think Carlos was considering doing the same thing. Like
a couple of us were really thinking of like going
down to New Orleans for WrestleMania week, and for my money,

(02:03:45):
I probably would not have bought tickets to base WrestleMania
itself unless they just had an extraordinary card that really says,
all right, you got to fork up a couple thousand
dollars for this ship. Otherwise I'd have just hung out
in New Orleans all week and just found a good
watch party to go to that Saturday and Sunday, Yeah,
and watched it with the people. That would have been

(02:04:07):
my plan. But ah, these motherfuckers want to go back
to Vegas again, which I'm not. I'm not completely opposed
to it. I got I got an uncle that lives
in Vegas. Now I gotta be struggling for somewhere to stay.
I can to stay with my uncle for that week
and shit and go check out the wrestle and stuff

(02:04:29):
and probably repeat the same thing my fucking bar or
cool ass spot in Vegas party started to watch it at.
But man, I don't know I was looking for. Even
though I've never been to Vegas and I've never been
to New Orleans and they're both two places I want
to visit. For some reason, I was more looking forward
to visiting New Orleans for the time than I am

(02:04:52):
possibly going to Vegas for the first time. It's probably
because I'm fucking forty four years old and I feel
like I'm damn old for Vegas.

Speaker 3 (02:05:05):
Oh, I know, I want to talk about Let's talk
about the men's uh King of the Ring tournament here
where we might think this is heading. The first fatal
four we match they had was Sammy Zine Penta bron
Breaker and uh dominicant my Stereo. Yeah, Sammy zing advance.

Speaker 1 (02:05:31):
Surprising, which surprised me for all of five seconds. Really, yeah,
it surprised me at first because I was like, oh, ship,
Sammy z ain't actually won. But then it hit me,
Where's King? Where's Knighted Champions being held at Saudi Arabia?
Who's the most over motherfucker in Saudi Arabia and the whole.

Speaker 3 (02:05:51):
Damn h dude? You like, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (02:05:58):
To get him into the final, right into the fun
going to the finals.

Speaker 3 (02:06:03):
Okay, so let's let's let me go off. Who else
is there? Uh for SmackDown? They have Orton versus Night
versus Alistair Black versus uh Carmelo Hayes in a fatal
four way then they also have h Cody Rhodes, Damian
Priest Andrade and Nakamura. Where the hell have you been?

(02:06:29):
What the fun Where have you been? That are we
gonna get? Yeah? And then we have Seamus Russive, Bronson
Reed and a mystery partner, which, now that I look
at on the right side of the bracket, I can
see Cody Rhoads obviously advancing. Okay, uh, the mystery person,

(02:06:53):
I don't know who that is, but that's gonna be
a pretty big, you know, match with Cody Rhods probably right.

Speaker 1 (02:06:59):
I don't who is gonna depending on who it is,
because Cody versus Shamus ain't moving no needle. Cody versus
Russ ain't moving no needle. Cody versus Bronson Reed ain't
moving no needle though, But he's got to be whoever
that mystery person is. Who again at this point my
money is on it being Ron.

Speaker 3 (02:07:19):
Killings Yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:07:21):
And then Cody versus Ron in the semifinals yep.

Speaker 3 (02:07:25):
And then you know whoever advances in there wet Sammy
Zine versus you know, probably.

Speaker 1 (02:07:31):
Cursing somebody from SmackDown because Sammy's ain't is raw yep.

Speaker 3 (02:07:35):
And I'm guessing Cody Cody, Sammy versus Cody. All right, man,
check this out.

Speaker 1 (02:07:43):
Damn it. I'm making menshit so damn predictable.

Speaker 3 (02:07:46):
I know.

Speaker 1 (02:07:48):
I can see here for thirty minutes brainstorming possibilities on
the women's tournament. You look at the minutes tournaments like, oh,
it's them to motherfuckers right there, yep, Like fuck, everybody
else in the tournament is them too? Right there.

Speaker 3 (02:08:00):
It's like it's like you and your best friend like
playing like the tournament in the video game, and you
guys are on both sides. You know it's gonna come
down to YouTube anyway, right, that's uh yeah, So like
check this out, man, Sammy Zain wins this right? Who? Who? Who?
Who has Gunter's fucking number? Sammy Zain? Right, Sammy's Ain again?

(02:08:29):
I know, I know, but you know this man now,
I mean we'll get into the butt. This man now
has the world title, right, This man is hated right now, right,
Sammy Zay winning that world title off of Gunther with
that much he'd taken off a j and then his

(02:08:49):
fucking title gets cashed in on by seth Rawlins and
that that first title win gets taken away from him
talk about nuclear fucking heat.

Speaker 1 (02:09:03):
Yeah, there's that. There's also be repeating this, but then
you'd be basically doing the same thing twice. If if
they do what I because that's basically what I just
booked for NAILI Yeah, he steals Jay Cargill's first title wins.
I don't know that they're going to repeat the same
thing twice. I don't know that we would get both

(02:09:23):
cash ins at SummerSlam. That would be kind of surprising.
And again, you're basically booking the same thing twice, so
that would be you knowed as hell. Also, and also
it's Summer Slam. This is a two night show, so
they when they do have to have a bunch of

(02:09:43):
matches to fill out both nights, but they also need
to make it feel substantial to warrant. Being a two
night thing, they can't really phone it in, so they
gotta come. They got to bring the heat with some
of these matches, Like, we've got to have some big
name matches now. Obviously, I'm pretty sure we're gonna get
a Roman reign sometime soon with SummerSlam coming up, so

(02:10:08):
he'll he'll obviously add something and we've got you know,
whatever scene is gonna be doing whatever, punk will be involved.
So we still got big names in I just don't
know with all these big names floating around with matches
to be had at SummerSlam, that Gunter versus Sammy Zain

(02:10:28):
is gonna be the match, that the match that's gonna
you know, be one of our big top championship matches.
Like that doesn't move the needle. I don't know that
anybody's feeding for guns versus Sammy z Ay Part three
or two or whatever it is. It's it's just not it.

(02:10:50):
And that was part of the big complaint about Gunch's
first world title reign is the fact that he was
the world champion, but he was basically defending against a
bunch of quote unquote mid carter. He wasn't fit defending
against the top names on the roster. So I think
he's got to defend at SummerSlam against a big name,

(02:11:11):
against a major name. Who it's going to be is tbd,
but he's got to defend against somebody of status. So
he's got to defend against a top name at SummerSlam.
So we'll see who that is. From From my money,
I think Cody Worlds is gonna come out as king

(02:11:31):
of them? Yeah, yeah, ring and probably which we'll set
him up to. We'll set up Cody versus Sena two.

Speaker 3 (02:11:47):
Yeah, maybe get the rematch maybe, because I I also
thought of this is also another crazy idea. This is
all because Seth with this briefcase. Man, what if what
if Punk does beat Sena for that title? And then

(02:12:09):
who hates Punk more than anybody else on that fucking
roster right now? Who would love? Yeah, dude, who would
love more than to fucking take that title from seem Punk?
Take that moment from him and ruin it because he said,
I'm trying to save wrestling. I am the savior of wrestling,

(02:12:29):
you know, like, and who does he hate more than
anybody else in that fucking roster right now? Is see
them Punk? I think if you say this, cash in
and take the glory from anybody, it's gonna be Punk
And it would be an interesting way to see the
title taken off of Sena. But yeah, like I never,
to be honest, I never thought, see you need the

(02:12:51):
title to begin with, But now that we're already there,
now that we're there with the seventeen, I'm good. Now
you can you can still have your I don't know. Yeah,
it's it's crazy. That's a whole can of worms right there.

Speaker 1 (02:13:05):
Yeah, I mean that the prospect of Punk getting cashed
in on by Seth Rollins, yes, is interesting. But then
and that could be a yeah, an interesting way of
getting Seth Rollins as w w E champion and then
gun Thro obviously can remain world champion. You get two

(02:13:28):
heel champions. I think that's probably I think there's a
greater chance of that happening than cashing on the World
Heavyweight Championship, definitely. But then so then that would leave you, well,
one that would lead you towards Cody versus Seth Rollins

(02:13:52):
at SummerSlam, which I guess we're far enough removed that
you can run that back again, even though we already
have done that three times. I don't know if it's
far I don't know if it's out of people's memory
enough to where they want to see it again so
quote unquote soon, even though it has been a couple
of years. Then there's also the prospect the fact of

(02:14:18):
you have seth Rollin's click to deal with if he's
the WWE champion. That is the SmackDown Belt, So is
he no longer showing up on Raw and didn't starts
showing up on SmackDown? And does he down? Now? Take

(02:14:38):
Paul Hayman, bron and Bronson with him, because then, damn,
you just snatched four people, five people if you count
Paul Hayman, well not four people. Yeah, you just snash
four people off of Raw and threw them on SmackDown,
which ain't really much competition for him over there all

(02:15:04):
smack Down other than Cody. I don't know, it's kind
of murky. I think out of the well, usually we
don't see both of belts, I mean both briefcases cashed
in and quick succession together. Usually one of them is

(02:15:27):
cashed in fairly quickly or soon, and then the other
one is held on for a while. I think Seth
is gonna be the one to hold on. So I
don't think he's going to cash in between now and
Summer Slam.

Speaker 3 (02:15:42):
I wait for that perfect fucking opportunity. I guess huh.

Speaker 1 (02:15:47):
Probably are they are. They're just gonna save it for
a later point in the year, right, I do think that,
But I do think Naomi Cash is in between now
and Summer Slam, So I don't know. It's a lot
of things juggling into the air, but I think one
thing we can say is almost certain is Knight of

(02:16:10):
Champions Men's King of the Ring Tournament final Sammy's ain
and versus Cody Rhoads. You can pretty much write that
fucker in pen because they ain't no way we getting
a Night of Champions. Sammy's ain't on a car and
I'm going to reduce him to just a cheap segment

(02:16:30):
where he just comes out and you know, speaks to
the crowd and then leaves. I think they want to
see him in something meaningful, in a match that matters,
and Sammy versus Cody will be a good match. It
will be a damn good match, and that crowd will
be lit for that match between Cody and Sammy, and

(02:16:53):
I think that's what WWE wants. They want a great
end ring product with a live ass crowd for it.
And just looking at the competitors in this match, just
like the Money in the Bank Ladder match, who in
the hell else can you make an argument for out

(02:17:14):
of all those names in that men's tournament. Randy Yorton
been off television too much for him to come back
and just suddenly become King of the Ring. L a
knight Maker been banging his head against the ceiling for
the loggers, he ain't breaking through now and everybody else's
mid card.

Speaker 3 (02:17:33):
Yeah, it's so fucking predictable. It's just it's not fun,
right at least.

Speaker 1 (02:17:42):
Yeah, Damian Priest is maybe the only other person you
could argue, But I don't think they're gonna reward him
again no time soon. Like I said, I think he's
pretty much in the Bobby Lashley territory now, where he's
a perpetual contender but never a challenger.

Speaker 3 (02:17:57):
Right.

Speaker 1 (02:17:58):
In other words, anytime there's a tournament, guarantee, his name's
gonna be in there, but he's never gonna win it.
And I don't think they're gonna strap that rocket to
bron Breaker as yet, given that they just paired him
up with Seth. Yeah, that would be a real conundrum

(02:18:18):
of having you know, bron Breaker as King of the
Ring and Seth Rollins as you know money in the
bank briefcase holder. That's the old which obviously that's already
been ruled out because sam is ain't one, so he's
already out. So yeah, Sammy Cody Orton too soon, everybody

(02:18:40):
else's mid card.

Speaker 3 (02:18:46):
All right, Uh well, I guess let's move on to
the the big topic of discussion here. You know, I
got everything on the list, crossed off all my notes here.
The last thing we're gonna talk about. The last thing
is they did a world title exchange on a Monday

(02:19:10):
night RAW, and I will admit, dude, I was seriously
caught off guard, along with probably the rest of the world.
It was basically the whole thing was I'm gonna put
you in this hole. I'm gonna put you in this hold.
Oh yeah, how about this hold? How about this hold?

(02:19:31):
And ended in a submission? Uh and yeah, like I
I was. I was very shocked. Man, I didn't see
this coming. I'll read to you. I do you have here?
After Jay lost his match. By the way, Sun was there, rough, No,

(02:19:53):
probably probably the worst time for like, dad, can I
go to work with you? Yeah? It would be fun. Uh,
I don't think Maybe that would have been a good
Probably wasn't the best time, but it was. Ladies and gentlemen.
This is my youngest son, Jase. I'm so happy I
brought him on the road with me this weekend. Y'all,

(02:20:14):
seen him a couple of times on video with me.
Even though I lost, I'm so glad he's here with me,
traveling the road with me. I really want to say,
I'm sorry to my son. I'm sorry to everybody here.
I fought my ass off. Gunther is that dude, one
of the best athletes, one of the best pros I
ever stepped footing in the ring with. At the end

(02:20:34):
of the night, I got a hell of respect for
the man. So give it up for Gunter. But I'm
gonna run it back. I'm gonna run it back, fucking
short per sueet.

Speaker 1 (02:20:46):
You know.

Speaker 3 (02:20:49):
I I I heard that their plans for him are
basically to throw him and Jimmy back in the tag
team title scene. Rough.

Speaker 1 (02:21:05):
Yeah, it's terrible in my opinion.

Speaker 13 (02:21:09):
Yeah, you go from you go from being this over
as fucked single star, still over as hell.

Speaker 1 (02:21:20):
Ye made it to the top world champion, and now
get back with your brother and gonna be tag team again,
like in what division? Like, are they gonna throw them
into SmackDown for the WWE World Tag Team title scene
to have them competing there with all the other heavyweights,
which might be interesting for that or are they gonna

(02:21:44):
throw them into boring ass, dead ass raw tag team
scene competing for the World Tag Team champions Ships, hoping
that the USSOS will elevate that, which, yeah, they might
elevate it holding it, but it's gonna die. They don't
have any fucking teams to defend against. That's worth of shit, right,
what we're gonna do with USO's versus New Day for

(02:22:06):
the four hundred and twelfth time, Like, that's I really
hope they don't go that row. That's a terrible decision.
I get it that. You know, Jimmy is over there
squandering squad, floundering on SmackDown, basically just showing up and
getting his ass kicked all the time. Yeah, but damn

(02:22:29):
I would much rather I'd much rather them stay separate.
Let Jay just have other singles, feuds with people. Let
Jimmy get his slow burned and eventually, you know, become
a mid card contender. Let him contend for the US title,
you know, let him actually do some stuff instead of

(02:22:50):
just get served up to get his ass whooped all
the time. Break him away from the blood Line two
point zero and beefing with them all the time. Let
him forge his own path as a individual, a competitor.
He's got the he can work, he's good, He's arguably
better than Jay on the mic. So I mean I

(02:23:11):
would rather I'd rather than do that. I'd rather them stay.
I don't want to see thusoles back together, not at
this not at this point, not until they both had
legitimate long sustain singles runs. I mean, they just got
reunited when the blood line og blood line got back together.

(02:23:34):
We don't even knowed to go back to that.

Speaker 3 (02:23:36):
Well again, Yeah, I mean, it sucks, but unfortunately that's
where they're going. Man, that's when I heard that's where
they're going.

Speaker 1 (02:23:47):
I think it's still rumored at this point, and I
hope it's just that rumor.

Speaker 3 (02:23:51):
Yeah, yep, I agree, Yeah, yeah. I mean I also
saw a promo of going Through talking about going backstage.
He goes, there was nobody there to cheer me. He goes,
there's nobody everybody went home. He goes, I came back

(02:24:12):
to an empty locker room. He goes by half friends
at home. He goes, I don't need friends here. I'm
here to make friends. I'm here to do business and
bring prestige back to professional wrestling. So I like to save.
When I'm like stuff through my phone throughout the week,

(02:24:34):
I always forget. There was this one meme of Cmpunk
I forgot I went to break out where he talks about,
you know how he didn't want to go I guess
aw promo speaking about how he didn't want to go
back or go to Saudie ever for the blood money.
There's this meme of Lisa Simpson doing like her poem

(02:24:56):
she wrote about Snowball and he goes there was a
wrestler her name seam Punk. He cried, He cried, Punk
left a w and went to WWE. He tried, he tried,
He said he wouldn't go to Saudi. He lied, he lied.

(02:25:16):
I thought that shit was funny. Maybe you know, the
Simpsons are good fucking things to do memes off of,
but I could just hear it in my head.

Speaker 1 (02:25:25):
So yeah, I mean that's it's kind of what helped
put a little extra sizzle on that promo exchange. Like,
I'm pretty sure that was a very self aware conscious
thing that they put into that exchange, where you know,
Seena said to Punk, if you want he like, he

(02:25:45):
didn't just say, like, you know, you want to challenge
to me for this, I'll see you in Saudi. No,
what did you say to Punk? He said, You're going
to have to come to Saudi Arabia. Very that was
a very deliberate way of saying that line. In other words,
we know that what he said in the past that
he wouldn't go to Saudi. Yeah, I say, he'll seeing
it doing the very heelish thing, making the baby face

(02:26:09):
do the thing he doesn't want to do to get
what he wants, Like, yeah, you want this belt, I'm
gonna make you do the thing that you said you
never do. Hop your ass on this plane and come
see me in Saudi Arabia if you want it.

Speaker 3 (02:26:28):
H man, I'm liking it, dude. I'm fucking psyched.

Speaker 1 (02:26:38):
You shall see. I know is that the promos are
gonna be fire.

Speaker 3 (02:26:45):
This is all I got, man, I'm uh oh, you
know Doyle busy on the road. You know, we totally
forgot to mention about Doyle. I know how I bring
him up at the very end of the show, but uh,
we got his predictions last time, and now I have
is his wrap up of his post show his opinion.

(02:27:09):
I'm gonna insert that at the end of the show
as well of course, of course, you're gonna get Doyle's
point of view. You crazy. Of course we're doing this
new thing where you know, he's on the road, we're
gonna get he's gonna get a live mic and he's
just gonna ran his opinions and I'm gonna upload him.
You know, Yeah, you know what I don't.

Speaker 1 (02:27:30):
You know.

Speaker 3 (02:27:30):
The thing is is I don't even give him a
fucking time limit. He can send him. They could be
like six minutes long, or they could be like three hours.
I don't know, but I just like, whatever, man, I'll
just upload it.

Speaker 6 (02:27:42):
Me.

Speaker 3 (02:27:42):
You want to talk about something for an hour and
a half, fuck it, let's do it. Let's see who
still listens that just rant for an hour? But uh no,
And I actually I want to I wanted to talk
to you about Somebody reached out to me today about

(02:28:04):
this podcast called sofa Ing Smarks Podcast. It's a wrestling
another wrestling podcast. They reached out to me today. They're
on Spotify, so I give them a shout out. You
might get one of the guys over here for an interview,
and uh hell, maybe even some of their other guys.

(02:28:27):
They said they don't record very often, and I was like, well,
if you haven't itch to talk about wrestling on a podcast,
I was like, we'll get you on the show.

Speaker 1 (02:28:37):
You better dust your damn mic off and get the
talking with us. Then day going into these shoutouts ain't free. Hey, yeah,
but where y'all one of y'all more, one of y'all
better drag yall carcasses over here and chop it up
with us.

Speaker 3 (02:28:49):
Yep, yep, yep, yep. Yeah, it's in the works. And
you know, like I said, I'm always I'm always down
to give people here interviews, you know, just always like
what do we talk about the interviews? I'm like, we'll
talk about wrestling, man, Like, why do you love wrestling?

Speaker 4 (02:29:05):
What?

Speaker 3 (02:29:06):
What? What puts you? What makes you watch wrestling every week?
Do you still watch wrestling? And if you didn't, when
did you stop? Why did you stop? Have you ever
been to live events? Have you ever met her wrestler?
Like there's always questions, and the thing is is like
they are the general same kind of questions, but everybody
has different unique stories of where and when.

Speaker 1 (02:29:30):
Yeah, I can always ask everybody what's your wrestling story?

Speaker 3 (02:29:33):
Yep? What is your wrestling story?

Speaker 1 (02:29:35):
Different?

Speaker 3 (02:29:36):
And uh, everybody different from all ages.

Speaker 1 (02:29:40):
They bring you over here to ask you for stock
market advice.

Speaker 3 (02:29:43):
I'm not asking you here. You know, just give us
predictions all the time, but we want to know your story,
man or a woman. Uh you know what. I I
don't mind. Like it doesn't matter the age either, because
I have older fans who talk to me about wrestling
all day at work, and I have fans you don't
wash it anymore, but they, you know, they were like

(02:30:03):
always talking about the Attitude era, you know, And dude,
how many times do you ever get that wrestling fan
who goes, yeah, I used to wash it down the
attue there. I would totally wash it again at Stone
Cold Steve Austin would come back, and I'm just like you,
you do fucking understand. He's like fifty something years old, right,
you do understand? Right?

Speaker 1 (02:30:24):
Came back?

Speaker 3 (02:30:25):
Yeah, dude, those people I just go, all right, can
you can you please just turn around and just walk
away from me?

Speaker 1 (02:30:33):
You know where those people are. Those are the people
who heard about the Mike Tyson Jake Paul fight at DAWG.
Tyson was gonna whoop Jake Paul's ass. Oh forget it.
He about to fuck Jake Paul up. Mike Tyson is sixty.
He ain't whooping nobody, no man, you see to be
overlooking training. He looked like you still got it. That

(02:30:56):
was thirty and seconds.

Speaker 3 (02:30:59):
And for the those people, I have a button.

Speaker 1 (02:31:01):
For you three minutes. Uh, shut the fuck up.

Speaker 3 (02:31:06):
For those people, we have a button for you, fucking
fucking marks. Uh So that's all I got, man, A
little little plugs here and there. We're gonna put some
Doyle's uh you know, post story in there.

Speaker 1 (02:31:26):
We're good.

Speaker 3 (02:31:27):
I'm gonna put the Ron Killings uh prom at the
end as well. Yeah, that's it, dude. Oh I gotta
got nothing else.

Speaker 1 (02:31:37):
Plug until next time.

Speaker 3 (02:31:38):
Yeah, man, one word.

Speaker 1 (02:31:44):
Damn j lost.

Speaker 3 (02:31:48):
Oh actually, real quick, before I leave, guess what I heard.
Guess what I fucking heard. I heard we might be
getting good versus Goldberg. That's why Goldberg's at that where
Ruther's in the prediction. He's in with that title.

Speaker 1 (02:32:05):
Whimper. Okay, y'all brought our truth back.

Speaker 3 (02:32:15):
We want truth.

Speaker 7 (02:32:17):
Y'all got our truth.

Speaker 1 (02:32:20):
We won. Our truth is.

Speaker 3 (02:32:25):

Speaker 1 (02:32:30):
After last one of you. But our truth is back.

Speaker 7 (02:32:34):
I'm back from me too, you see now only did
y'all bring truth back?

Speaker 1 (02:32:48):
You got me now.

Speaker 7 (02:32:54):
We all love our truth. I love our truth tooth,
but our truth can be.

Speaker 1 (02:33:03):
Too funny all the time.

Speaker 7 (02:33:07):
Our truth can be too nice.

Speaker 1 (02:33:11):
And he's too forgiving.

Speaker 6 (02:33:15):
Not me.

Speaker 3 (02:33:17):
I wish you would.

Speaker 1 (02:33:24):
I feel different. I feel alive. And for any of
you that thinks.

Speaker 7 (02:33:37):
I'm a lie, you think I'm some side show act.

Speaker 1 (02:33:43):
You think I'm a gimmick.

Speaker 3 (02:33:59):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (02:34:00):
Jesus, Oh my God, God.

Speaker 5 (02:34:34):
Are truth?

Speaker 7 (02:34:38):
The truth has set me free. I am ron Killis.
I am the truth, the whole truth, and not that.

Speaker 1 (02:34:55):
Why don't you now put some respect? Oh my name,
you are.

Speaker 3 (02:35:06):
The world's dumbest.

Speaker 1 (02:35:09):
Sign up a bit.

Speaker 5 (02:35:11):
The fact that day in and day out for almost
six years I improved everybody in the world that I
am the best on this microphone in that break given
in commentary, nobody can touch me.

Speaker 1 (02:35:24):
