Hey, this is w W E and E c W
alumni the Blue Meaning and you're listening to pc W.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
The question is, oh, you let me talk to.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
I will give you a show like you have never recovered.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Sam before a wife because I can't. What do you
guys want to talk about?
Speaker 1 (00:34):
Me and the colored red in a world with a
black and white of world.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Yeah, your.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages,
Welcome back to another episode of pc W podcast Championship Wrestling.
I am your host, Wayne also known as Semi drive Chicken.
And no, this is not a review for and uh
uh a pay per view a p l E. No,
this is We're not gonna ramble about the ESPN deal. No,
I'm not gonna ramble about a wrestler some scandal, or
(01:55):
ramble about Vince Man. No, no, no. This is one
of those episodes where it's like I got a little
bit of time. I got like an hour to kill.
I have a list of people who want to be
interviewed for a while, people I've wanted to interview for
a while, and I've thought I've been thinking to myself,
maybe it's time, Maybe it's time I start interviewing more,
you know, start filling that gap. We are so close
(02:18):
to one hundred episodes. As we're coming in closer and closer,
I want people who've been on the show in the past,
you know, one hundred episodes. If you've been on the
show and you want to come back on again, I'm
gonna bring everybody back on for episode one hundred. Everybody's
gonna have those theme musics. It's going to sound like
it could very well sound like a Royal Rumble event.
(02:42):
But you know, we're just gonna shoot the shit reminisce
to catch up with some people who haven't been on
in the show in a long time. I like to
get some people who've been on earlier years. Some people
are recently interviewed. So but that said, just slipping it
in there right underneath one hundred, you know, like I
think it will be like episode ninety five, ninety six,
but sliding in there. Co worker of mine goes by
(03:04):
the name Tyler Foster. I'm gonna bring him out here.
We go.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
My head the accounts with me. They understand thanks to me.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
You guys, Hello, hey buddy, how you doing there? Thanks
for coming in the show.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
I'm doing all right, I'm doing right, you know, problem
at all. I'm glad to have you, glad for you
to have me, Thank you very much.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
Yeah. Uh. Finally somebody on the show took the the
Orton theme music. You know, it's such a good theme music.
I'm surprised it wasn't taken earlier, you know, by somebody.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
That's That's one of those musics that as soon as
it hits like, you just know, like the chills run
up your arm. You know something's about to go down,
somebody's getting r kaoed or he's just gonna speak his
mind and just let you know how he feels.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
Yeah, And and I recall him saying, like, in the
past few years he was kind of bummed with his
theme music. You know, nobody would sing to his theme
music or anything. And I think maybe it's something somewhere
out of the country, maybe it's Puerto Rico or something.
They start singing to his theme music and started catching on.
And now every time Orton comes out, we all sing
(04:30):
to it now, like like we should have been doing
this a long time ago.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
Oh, without a doubt. There was an article I read
and I can't I can't quote the source but when
he came back at Survivor's series war Games with you know,
Cody Rhoades, Seth Roland, Sam he's a and you know
the other guys, there was talks about switching his music
up a little bit, and you know, they did like
(04:55):
a couple iterations of it, they did test runs of it,
and in the end just nobody liked it. It didn't
feel Randy, right, so they just stuck with the classic
voices and it's been that way ever since.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
But yeah, I mean like it works for now. I'm
happy it works. Like why it's not broken? Why fix it?
Speaker 4 (05:16):
Right? Right? It's definitely it definitely, uh like gives you
more chills than what his his original back when he
was you know, pre evolution and post evolution the music
he had and then you know he got the heavyweight
championship and it was voices now right, So now.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Tyler, uh, I we The reason why how I know
you are in relationship is we work together. So you know,
when you find out somebody at your job is listening
or watching a wrestling clip, you know, and you're you're
a where's the button?
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Fucking mark?
Speaker 3 (05:57):
When you're a fucking mark, right, you know, You're just like,
are you watching wrestling over there? What makes you think that?
Speaker 5 (06:03):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (06:03):
I don't know. I just you know, I hear some
theme music and I'm like, that's I'm pretty sure that's wrestling.
You know. You hear some commentary from a match, You're like, Oh,
that's good Old Jr. That's that's somebody's watching wrestling. But
you and me, like, we don't have a lot of
time on the floor to talk about it, but we've
always wanted to stop and chit chat about wrestling. Uh,
(06:23):
maybe we get a few minutes here and there to
chit chat about it. I introduced you to my podcast.
Speaker 5 (06:27):
You know.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
I was like, dude, like I like wrestling that much,
Like I decided to start a podcast just to sit
down and talk about it. And I you know, I
was like, damn, I gotta I gotta get this guy
eventually on my show, just to so we can just
fucking sit down and just air it out. Man, air
it out. Let's let's talk some wrestling, you know. Uh uh,
But yeah, I finally got you, you know, got the
(06:51):
time to sit here and talk to you. So I
appreciate it, appreciate your time.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
I I appreciate your time. Man, thank you, I said,
thank you for having me. I feel honored. And you know,
to to hear the episodes that these guys do and
the topics that you discussed, the reviews and how in
depth everything is is is amazing. Like the level of
attention and paid to the detail is always amazing to
hear in the guys, in the passion that each of
(07:17):
you have when you speak is just I thought I
was passionate about wrestling, and then like I started listening
to this and I was like, Okay, maybe I need to,
you know, get a little bit more serious about it.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
Dude, Doyle and Dre absolutely fantastic, amazing guys. Without them,
they're they're seriously I don't know if there would be
a PCW without those two guys. Like they are my
left hand and the right hand of this fucking show,
you know.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
But yeah, sometimes when we do interviews, I like doing
interviews one on one. If they want to jump on,
they're always more than welcome to jump in these interviews.
But it's like, I'm pretty good doing one on one interviews, right,
It's not like for a job. It's just we're just
shooting ship. I want to I want to know more
about you and wrestling, Like, so, so when did you
start watching wrestling? What got you into wrestling? Oh? Man?
Speaker 6 (08:07):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (08:08):
Being a young kid, my stepdad watched it almost all
the time, back when SmackDown was on upn Okay before
it became c W, So that was back still in
the era of Stone Cold Vince McMahon. Actually I believe
at that time stone Cold an undertaker. We're having a
storyline and just like feeling the excitement from the crowd
(08:32):
and watching it, and my stepdad wasn't really reactive to it,
but just me just watching these behemoths of men just
go at each other and the stuff that they could do.
And you know, obviously I'm too young to understand the
intricacies of the storyline, but the action was what drew
me into it. And like the different characters that you
see from like the guy wearing a pair of ripped
(08:55):
off at the knee jeans and you know, a black
T shirt with three sixteen to the guy dressed and
all black and raising his hands in the air to
turn on the lights like it was just enamory. And
then you know, you have the years of growing up
and watching it and you know, you fall off here
and there, but if you can pay attention to it
and stick with it, you can continue to follow the
(09:16):
evolution from then to now. So it was always it's
always something that's been like a passion that I wish
I could dedicate more time to, like I said to
you and the other guys on the show, but there's
always a love for it.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
Yeah, it's it's crazy how how much more we have
to cover now as wrestling fans, even within the last
the last few years. I mean, I think this podcast
has only been gone for like three years, and a
lot has changed between. Just like you said, used to
watch it on UPM I remember that, and Rawl was
(09:53):
on like Spike or something.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
Yeah, that's it.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
That's all we had. We had two shows, that's all
we had to watch, easypsy. If I missed one, I
could easily read about it, you know, on the internet
and find out the results. But like now, it's it's
literally every day of the week, there's always something to watch.
It's it's next to impossible to not have wrestling to
watch every day. And and thank god, like the PCW group,
(10:21):
the community has gotten so big that like somebody's covering
wrestling somewhere, and that's that's what the discord is for.
Like somebody from our show is watching certain wrestling somewhere.
It doesn't go unwatched. You know, somebody may have watched
NXT this week, and somebody may have watched AW or
even gone even gone to an AW show. I think
(10:45):
one of our guys have recently gone to an AW show.
I think I didn't get to read in the check, but.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
I think Doyle is just that SmackDown talks.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
One of them. That would be Carlos. Yeah, one of them.
I got. I guess see where SmackDown is. But that's
cool too. We also have a listener, Wayne, another guy
named Wayne. He also goes to a lot of shows.
I see that he post, and I know Doyle whenever
you can catch it. Dwayne another listener of our show.
(11:18):
He's gonna be going to a RAW soon. I believe
that's gonna be in Philly. But yeah, have you have
you ever been any live wrestling events?
Speaker 6 (11:31):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (11:32):
Ten years old? Ten years old? It was at the
I think it was the Wells Fargo Center what is
now the Santanga Arena in Reading And it was my
tenth birthday gift from my aunt and my uncle and I.
The only match that I really remember for the night
(11:54):
is it was a tag team match. I think it
was the main event of the night, and I can't
remember who the team was facing, but the team that
I was just like for some reason dumbstruck about was
Kane and Stone Cold. They came out and like, the
place just went nuts and it was like one of
(12:14):
the coolest things that I just one of the only
wrestling show that I've ever been to. Unfortunately, but just
that match for the night is stuck in my mind,
just seeing those guys. I guess I go at it
and if I remember correctly, stone Cold and Kane won,
I could be wrong. Memories a little bit fuzzy, you know,
so many years later, twenty three years later, but absolutely
(12:39):
amazing night. I walked away from that event with a
Triple H T shirt with it was one of his
first ones he did after he went solo from the
quadricept injury. The Maltese crossed with the three hs in it,
and I had that for years and years and I
(13:00):
honestly can't even remember what happened to it anymore, unfortunately.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
Yeah, yeah, I have a few Triple eight shirts myself
in the closet. Uh So that's it. You just went
to like one one show here at the arena, the
local arena.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
Yep. Unfortunately, I know they've they come to Hershey a lot.
I know they they go to Santanger sometimes. I know
they also they go out to the PPG Pines Arena
in Pittsburgh. But there was a good portion of my
life where I was incapacitated from travel, incapable I'm sorry,
(13:36):
incapable of travel.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
So right, but like it's nice like where you live
because we live rather close. We're almost like an hour
away from any good arena, like the one in Hershey,
the one in Allentown, the one in Philly, and then
the one in the city here like you know, uh
so it's nice. We're always going to be able to
catch wrestling on the East coast for sure, Like if
(14:00):
you really want to go the distance, go to New Jersey,
you know, Pittsburgh, so even though I think there's some
other places in PA that they go to. So we're
good here on the East coast. But is it like,
is there like a pay per view of some kind
that's on your your bucket list? Do you still want
(14:21):
to like pursue at some point going to another event
if you can.
Speaker 4 (14:28):
I mean, even if it's just like a regular old
Monday night Raw or a Friday night SmackDown, I obviously
just hey, let's go, let's you know, pack up what
weekend and you know, if we're sitting in for traffic
for five hours, as long as we get to that
show and we're watching the matches, I'm fine with it.
As far as p L E's go Royal Rumble, that
(14:50):
would probably be like a Royal Rumble or a WrestleMania
because that's where you get the really big like oh
my god moments. Yeah, you know, the surprise returns. You
get to see I mean real rumble. You're seeing storylines
play out kind of like in the middle Russell Maine.
(15:10):
You're catching it at the end. So you know, somewhere
in there is where the really interesting things happen. I believe.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
Okay, Okay, I guess I gotta ask it. I kind
of got a hint, an idea. Give me your three.
I know it's hard, it's really hard. Three favorite wrestlers.
Speaker 4 (15:39):
If you were to ask me years ago, and I'm
talking like late two thousands, I would have said Undertaker,
Triple H H and maybe mister Kennedy, Randy Orton was close,
but I still wasn't digging him at the time. Mister
Kennedy just had that that brash you know, d G
(16:03):
a f attitude. Tell you like I said, tell you,
tell you how it is today. Uh, Triple H still
top of the list. Uh, Brandy Orton definitely up there,
and r I P. Bray Wyatt the Fiend. That was
a character that just it just was one of those
(16:28):
mind fucks in a way. You know, he had the
Firefly fun House and then you know, if you got
on his bad side and he let him out, you
were you were playing with the fiend and that was
something you didn't want. And even before that, you had
the Wyatt family and you know, uh, Luke Luke and
(16:50):
the other guy's name is escaping me at the moment. Yeah,
and and braun Stroman the Black Sheep Yep. You know.
But the stories that he was able to tell, you know,
from his own mind were just like unbelievable, you know,
and the stuff that he can make you feel, and
you know, the the eeriness, I'd almost say undertake undertaker
(17:16):
level eeriness that he could bring to it without having
too many of the effects that that undertaker had. Uh,
we're just mind boggling.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
Hm hmm. All right, here's the next one. You're Mount
Rushmore of of greatest wrestlers who for the company, for
the business.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
For the business overall or w w E.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say, w I guess you
have for ww ww's Mount Rushmore. Uh.
Speaker 4 (17:53):
Stone Cold definitely, because without him you don't have that
that revival, that resurgence at King of the Ring and
everything that followed. So stone Cold definitely absolute triple h uh.
Just his you know, they don't call him the cerebral
(18:14):
Assassin for no reason.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
What he does for the company now, even he deserves
to be honest.
Speaker 4 (18:23):
Yep, uh huh. I'd say mcfoley, mcfoley. He uh, that
man did stuff to his own body for the sake
of wrestling and and selling for other wrestlers that you
don't see other guys doing for other other other men
(18:44):
or women in the business for that matter. You know,
it's not just about men men or women. So definitely mcfoley. Uh,
let's see stone Cold triple h mcfoley.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 4 (19:03):
This was probably gonna be controversial, but it also it
all starts with Vince, okay, you know, because without him
and being willing to sign on guys that other companies
were getting ready to write off. You know, we wouldn't
(19:24):
have some of the storytelling that took place in some
of the guys that we have into business today. So
that I know that one's going to be controversial given
everything that's going on. But I won't get I won't
get into that Roman reigns. Roman reigns. Yeah, tribal chief, no,
(19:48):
the OTC. He's done something that nobody else has done
in the past what twenty years, you know, the the
number of opponents that he's beaten as as long as
he's held the championships, the faction that he was able
to put together and keep running for was close to
(20:11):
four years, if not four years a little over, you know.
And and obviously that doesn't happen without you know, the USOS,
without Paul Hayman, but it started with him. So uh,
definitely definitely Roman range as well.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
Okay, I like those picks, man, because you know what
I mean, I I believe that everybody is going to
have their different Mount Rushmore. You know, it's a lot
of people. It's controversial to pick such a wrestler, Like
if you put Hogan up there, people are gonna be
(20:50):
controversial about it. I'm sure if I put Hogan on
my Mount Rushmore, I'm sure Doyle would love to argue that.
You know, if I put Charlotte Flare up there my
Mount Rushmore, I'm sure Dre would love to argue that,
you know. So yeah, for each throw, bro, it's also
(21:11):
it's how you see in your eyes too, as the consumer,
as the customer, as the you know, maybe you're looking
at it from like entertainment value or merch sales or
you know, moving a story, or the feuds that they
had or how they performed in the ring or uh,
(21:32):
it all varies, man, it all varies per wrestler, because
like even you can even argue John Cena could be
up on that, you know.
Speaker 4 (21:41):
Uh yeah that was one I for some reason did
not think about.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
But yeah, yeah, that's the thing. It's like there's so
many it's hard to put four up there, and not
just that. You're like, well what about women, Like there's
great you know women wrestlers to be on that Mount Rushmore,
And it's like do you just do a mount rushmore
female wrestlers. I guess it's probably just a lot easier
to do, right.
Speaker 4 (22:03):
That one would that one would be interesting.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, So man, I uh, I actually,
you know what I want to get the podcast, you know,
to get the guys together. I want to do a bracket. Man,
these guys always ducking me. I'm trying to do bracket
of like fantasy matches maybe, or like greatest Intercontinental Champion
of all time. I don't know, man, uh, some sort
(22:27):
of bracket to fill it. We're reviewing a lot of
there's a lot of pay per views. I understand we've
got wreussell Palooza coming up, but maybebe before Wressel Palooza.
If you if you're listening to this episode, which you
probably are, Doyle and Drake because you're not on it,
maybe we should do a bracket coming up.
Speaker 4 (22:45):
I mean, we're working very interesting.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
Coming close to one hundred episodes, so geez, and you
know it's not It's funny because I do listen to
a lot of other wrestling podcasts and stuff, and there
are some summer in like a couple hundreds or maybe
in the thousands, which is awesome. You know, that's awesome.
It's fantastic. Ours are just long ass episodes. There's many
(23:11):
of them, just long. Ah yeah.
Speaker 4 (23:15):
But that that that that speaks to the level of,
like I said, paying attention to the details and the
love that guys have that many things that they want
to say, that much material to contribute to the podcast
that other podcasts, not to say that they don't have it,
but for you guys to go as long as you do,
(23:37):
you know, it's just that much more material to pack
in and it extends it.
Speaker 3 (23:43):
Out so much more. Yeah, it just gonna be like
six fucking matches and we're gonna review it for three
hours in the pay per view, could be like two hours,
like yeah, I mean, sometimes the math isn't mathing, but
the fact is we still get downloads. So I guess
people are, hey, I got fucking time to kill, let's
fucking listen to PCW. I guess for three hours. I
(24:06):
know Dwayne Coleman and listening to the show told me
he listened to an entire episode in the DMV once.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
So yeah, goodness.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
If you can't get any lower than that, it's listening
to an episode of PCW in the DMV so.
Speaker 4 (24:24):
I'd be hooked. I just might forget my number.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
That's where we're at.
Speaker 4 (24:27):
Twenty seven, twenty seven. I gotta go.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
All right. So now that I know, like kind of
roughly what kind of wrestlers you like? You know what
era you're you're kind of roughly from. You know, it
sounds like you're more of the attitude switching into the
ruthless aggression era. Uh, you're pretty much around the same
time frame I am with wrestling growing up.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
But what kind of do you have any You mentioned
a Triple AH shirt. Do you have any other merch?
Any other shirts merch at all of wrestling?
Speaker 4 (25:01):
I do have at my grandparents house stored away right now.
Some John c. M gear. Back when h the his
little mascot was the Bulldog, he had the more military
stylish gear, the the squared off cap with the flat bill,
(25:21):
and it had like a it almost looked like a
sergeant's badge, but it had to hustle a litlety respect
in it with the camouflage all around that. I did
have a spinner belt for the longest time. I think
one of my nephews got a hold of it and
met its unfortunate demise, and then I did have a
(25:49):
CM punk shirt with the crossed arms. It was just
the wrapping on the hands, but it was crossed with
the black x's and everything, and there was or like
that was. Yeah, that was about the only stuff that
I had at the time. And hopefully, as as you know,
the years go on and I can get to live events,
(26:11):
or if I can get the extra spending money, maybe
invest a little bit more, because I know there's there's
all they've invested more in the merchandise they sell so
it'll last longer, which would make it worth worth buying.
Speaker 3 (26:24):
Now, yeah, I have I haven't bought any wrestling merch
in a while, and I'm kind of happy right now
because I think the only thing I do on maybe
is like some seampunk shirts. But yeah, it's awesome, Like
you have some old school John Cena stuff, you know
(26:45):
he had. If anybody who has tons of merches John
Cena dude, just the fruey pebble color of assortment of
T shirts.
Speaker 4 (26:56):
Just every week it's a new design and a new color,
and you know, uh, I know, for there was a
while in his in his early run where you had
the same design for maybe two or three weeks, and
then he'd switched it up, and then that would run
for two or three weeks, and then he switched it up.
Now it's just every week something new.
Speaker 3 (27:19):
I mean, the guy's making money like hand over fists
for fucking merch sales. That's for damn sure. I'll tell
you what. There's probably somewhere out there, Uh fucking Mark
who collected every who collected one of every one of
Johnson's retirements to our shirts. I mean, that would be
pretty cool collection.
Speaker 4 (27:39):
But uh, without a doubt. You know, you watch the
one program Most Wanted Treasures. Definitely one of those guys.
Definitely one of those guys.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
Man. Yeah, it's it's funny, how like we just don't
get rid of wrestling stuff and just piles up somewhere
and T shirt. I have T shirts that don't fit
in anymore, like I had them since I was a teenager.
I was like, why I'm not getting rid of it though,
I'm not getting rid of this DX shirt that I
barely fit in anymore?
Speaker 6 (28:12):
You know, hell, no, no, no, It's it speaks to
the impact that it had on you, that you had
that much love for it, you invested in it in
the first place, and continue to cherish.
Speaker 4 (28:27):
It for the memories that you know, you were able
to take from what you watched on TV or in person.
So that's that's the stuff that you you can't get
back once you give it away or sell it or whatever.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
Yeah. Plus, you know, all my wrestling shirts I have
like memories, you know PL's I've worn them at where
I bought them from, you know, gotten them as gifts
from friends, even listeners of the show. I've gotten wrestling
shirts from, Like yeah, I think the one of my
(29:02):
favorite ones is my Roman reigns Acknowledge me one and
I have a Bey Lynch the Man t shirt. Uh yeah,
it's always nice. Now are you when you're out and
about and you catch somebody with a wrestling shirt? And
I saw somebody. I was at Ocean City, Maryland last
weekend and there was a guy on the boardwalk with
the Jay Uso shirt. It said yeat And I looked
(29:25):
at him, I go, youat four letters and he said
you like it was awesome.
Speaker 4 (29:32):
It's so cool, like when you know, you know, oh,
of course, Now are you the Are you the type
of collector that as soon as you get something, no
matter what it is, it gets stored away, like if
it's a shirt, it's in plastic wrapped up and tucked
in a drawer, or you just leave it out and
enjoy it.
Speaker 3 (29:55):
Yeah. I just say it's funny like this somebody out
there in the world.
Speaker 4 (30:00):
World.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
It's like it's just that overwhelming feeling of like, oh
you like wrestling too.
Speaker 4 (30:05):
You know.
Speaker 3 (30:06):
That's the thing about wrestling, man, When it's like any
other sport. You know, it's not like, oh you like
football too, it's like, oh you like that team, like
fuck you? You know, like oh you like that team, Like
we're different teams like fuck you. No, Like like I
like a different oh you like like nobody has ever
walked up to me and it was going, oh you
like wrestling, Yeah, And it's like I like dom Mysterio,
(30:28):
Oh fuck you man. Like no, dude, no, every it's
like you like wrestling, Yeah, It's like awesome across the board.
It doesn't matter who you like, who you hate, It
doesn't matter. The fact is you like it. But like
when it comes to any other sport, if I like
a different team, like they're gonna flip my fucking car
in the parking lot, Like if we fucking they're gonna riot,
(30:50):
you know, like.
Speaker 4 (30:53):
To Philly.
Speaker 3 (30:54):
Yeah, dude, like I swear to guy. But you know,
you know what. You know. What's another thing Tyler is
I've never left WrestleMania, and I I, okay, you know
what perfect, perfect, perfect solution here WrestleMania forty. I went
and were wore Night two of Roman Raine shirt. I know,
(31:15):
damn well, Vermon Rains was not winning that night. I know,
damn well, Cody Rhodse is walking out with the champion.
I weren't anyway, but guess what when I got to
the parking lot, people weren't flipping my fucking truck like,
oh look this Roman Rains fan, let's get up, like
fu what God damn We're like I said, wrestling fans
(31:38):
are different type of breed, you know.
Speaker 4 (31:41):
And that's just it, Like it's I think the community
is tighter because I don't know if if you had
experienced just like when I was in school, if you
talked about wrestling like you were a nerd or a
dork or you know, you got you kind of got
made fun of for it. And now it's just more
socially acceptable to be a fan of this sport and
(32:06):
enjoy it. Like you said, no matter who it is,
who you like, who you don't like. But it's a
tighter knick community.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
Yeah, dude, it is true. It is a tight knit community.
And I made a lot of friends over the years
just through wrestling. And and it's even funnier like when
I go to an event and I see somebody there
I know, or I see on my Facebook somebody posts like, oh,
we're at the local, like you know, SmackDown at the
(32:35):
Wells firego. I'm like, you son of a bitch. This
whole time, you guys were closet wrestling fans what I
like to call them, closet wrestling fans. You know, uh,
you know, I know people tell me what's that?
Speaker 4 (32:50):
How did you not tell me?
Speaker 3 (32:51):
Yeah? Yeah, exactly How did you not tell me? Like,
you know, I see, I see that Johnsen is starting
underneath that the other T shirt you got, Like, don't
act like you're not fanly? Oh man, Okay, cool. Now
I want to know did you play any wrestling games
growing up?
Speaker 4 (33:12):
But yes I did. I had to smack Down Role
Versus SmackDown for PlayStation two. I believe it was two
thousand and nine, and then I had the version for
the PSP and I can't remember exactly what it was called.
(33:33):
But every morning on the bus ride to school and
on the bus ride back from school, that was my zone.
I was making matches up and progressing storylines and creating
characters and I just I just get lost in it.
It was a great way to take the stress off
of the day of being a kid and having to
(33:54):
learn crap you didn't really want to learn, or putting
up with people you didn't want to. You just pretend
they're the opponent that you're wrestling in a match and
kick their butt.
Speaker 3 (34:06):
Yeah. I pumping tons of hours and those were all
versus SmackDown games. As a kid, all I wanted was
just be able to play with more of my friends.
I just wanted, like more wrestlers in the ring. You know,
there was a time when the wrestling games only allowed
two wrestlers at a time, and then you know, then
(34:28):
we could play four awesome, And then the big thing
was six. That was that was a big deal for us,
and that it was like that for a long time,
just six wrestlers in the ring, four players on one
you know screen. And then now I believe you can
do eight wrestlers in the ring, and I think you
(34:48):
can do like eight if you're playing on PC and
you can play online, you can do eight wrestlers, eight
of your friends. And the matches in Gimmicks are insane,
you know, the way they look, the music, everything. I
even thought about getting like this year's version of.
Speaker 4 (35:10):
It, oh with the Island of relevancy and everything.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
Yeah, you know what, dude, like seventy bucks for just
the basic model, Like, I'll probably that's the one I'm
probably gonna get. But like, I don't see myself with
spending the what one or whatever it is. God man, Uh,
it's ridiculous how much they charge for for a fucking game.
Speaker 4 (35:37):
I mean the the for the way they utilize the
funding though and improve the engines and the graphics, the
playability then just what you can do in a match though,
is it it's almost worth the investment. But I do
(35:57):
agree it's just one hundred and twenty. Yeah, that's that's
a little on the heavy side.
Speaker 3 (36:02):
Yeah. Yeah, I recall games being like fifteen thirty dollars,
you know, thirty dollars was I was like, okay, that's
a reasonable price, and now it's more than a DVD
and not DVD like a digital movie like Prime for
(36:23):
four K, Ultra HD whatever, Like you're gonna get them
thirty bucks maybe at the most thirty five at the
most for the top tier Marvel movie whatever, but like, hey,
seventy bucks for a fucking game, and then what are
you gonna do next year? You're gonna release the same shit, right,
but it's not gonna have this one thing, or it's
(36:46):
not gonna have this one thing. I mean, I just
never understood why we can't just you know, have a
good wrestling engine, you know, game and then just every
year just update the fuck roster.
Speaker 4 (37:02):
You know, like whatever whatever pl is that you're doing,
because you went from what clash in uh Clash at
the Castle to Clash in Paris now, so you're just
updating the pls and like you said, the roster, that's
all I got to do, Just.
Speaker 3 (37:16):
Update the roster, uh, you know, send out DLC packs
like oh shit, now like Johnsena had seven more shirts
since the last DLC, Like you know, maybe if I
want that, I can download that. Maybe there's new wrestling
theme music I want to download, and they can micro
transaction all that shit if they want just stop forcing
me to fucking spend you know, seventy dollars a fucking year,
(37:39):
and then you know it ends up. There's just there's
always something about the games, you know, there's never it's
really hard to pinpoint like, oh, this was the perfect
wrestling game. There's always something about them, man, that that's
just fucks. I will say, like the Royal Rumble now
being eight is eight to ten wrestlers at once. I mean,
(38:01):
that's fucking insane. I always thought the elimination chamber was
always so cool in the wrestling games. Uh what else?
What else are really fun?
Speaker 4 (38:12):
I do.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
Smack.
Speaker 4 (38:14):
I think the Helen the Cells were pretty The hell
and the Cells were pretty good too. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (38:17):
I just never liked the when they got those red
hell in the cells.
Speaker 4 (38:22):
Oh yeah, yeah, God.
Speaker 3 (38:24):
The Fiend. That's when they had the Fiend and seth
Rollins fought for the first time. I think they had
the red hell in the cell and stayed for a
bit and I was like, oh my god, this a
fucking terrible idea.
Speaker 4 (38:37):
I hate to think about the amount of pain or
powder coat it took to just get that thing ready.
But that's the the industrialist in me thinking.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
Yeah, that's funny. Uh, have you ever met a wrestler
in person, like at all, like signings or autographed signings
or a picture or like Hooters or something.
Speaker 4 (39:08):
I got to meet Stone Cold and this was after
the you know, the the tenth Birthday Gift wrestling event
stone Cold. Uh. I think Shane McMahon was there. I
think Tristratus was there, and I can't remember meeting anybody
else as far as outside of a wrestling event. It
(39:32):
was his name, Ken something black Man, Ken Blackman. I
think it was met him at the mall. We were walking,
you know, down the mall. We were getting ready to leave,
and my stepdad recognized him right away. He was leaving
Toys r Us. I think he went shopping for his
one of his kids. And yes, Steve Blackman was leaving
(39:56):
the store and he's out to check his phone or
something like that, and my stepdad walked over to him
and he's like, hey, you know, they just had their
own a little conversation and my dad stepdad waved us
over and you know we got to meet him, shake
hands with him and everything like that. I think he
signed my stepdad's shirt, and you know, we didn't want
to like blow his spot up. So just let him
(40:18):
go and we left to left them all. But it
was really cool. I think that's the only time I've
ever met a celebrity person of any you know, anything,
anything outside of their comfort zone. I guess you could.
Speaker 3 (40:35):
Say, damn, dude, that's cool. Especially man, I don't even
know what I say. If I have a mestress stratus,
Like a poster was hanging in my room as a teenager,
and as an adult, I'd still hanging in my room still.
It's just as she did, like you know, the da
have God damn.
Speaker 4 (40:58):
Listen her. Her and Lyda, I think are probably the
two that have aged aged really well. You know, you
almost can't tell a difference from then to now. I
mean you can, but not as bad as other people
that have left the business.
Speaker 3 (41:13):
Oh yeah, so true. You know, whod isn't aging very well?
It's sunny, and I think it's because she probably doesn't
get enough son where she's at.
Speaker 4 (41:26):
Oh wait, isn't that the one that killed her boyfriend
or her husband?
Speaker 3 (41:30):
She's the one. Yeah, she's She's the one in jail.
I think she she had a d u I and
she I think she believes she kills somebody.
Speaker 4 (41:39):
H oh okay, I thought it was like her spouse
that she had killed.
Speaker 3 (41:45):
I don't know, man, she for a lot of things. Well,
I know is like there's a lot of there's a
few people who should be in jail that aren't vistuln
uh but you know, yeah, yeah, that's tremendous. Uh I.
I really wonder if they're gonna do a season two
that that Vince documentary on Netflix because there was so
(42:10):
much more still going on after that documentary came out.
It's like, oh dude, like they didn't even cover the
part where he was shitting on people.
Speaker 4 (42:19):
I would guarantee that that's probably in production right now,
if not post production. It was it was really shocking
to see who said, who said what when they said it,
and you know the amount of information they were able
to provide dates times, you know, the stuff that was
(42:41):
said or took place like it was shocking. And you know,
I can't believe that he even had a second run,
you know, and a second attempt at running after he
was initially fired. That was that was shocking to me.
Speaker 3 (43:06):
Yeah, he's like he's like our tiger king, you know,
Like when that document came out. It was so popular
and people were like just telling me about it, like yes,
I know, Like, yes, I know, I have a show,
a wrestling show. Yes I know, I'm gonna watch. I've
watched it twice already, thank you. I've covered a whole
(43:26):
episode on it. Thank you. And I'm just like, yeah,
it's like our Tiger King.
Speaker 4 (43:31):
Like are you sure? But did you see this part? Yes?
Yes I did.
Speaker 3 (43:37):
That's why like we got the discord, because when the
podcast did start out, everybody would be blown out my
phone or something about hey did you see this or that.
I'm like, yes, I did, Yeah, yes I did. If
it's wrestling related, I've seen it or heard it, like
don't and that, you know. You know, one friend, bless
her heart, Brooke Hogney, the listener of the show. She
(43:58):
always sends me wrestling stuff right away and I'm like, oh, yeah,
I've already heard that. She's like damn, like yeah, I
you know how many many outlets I'm subscribed to and
like how many notifications I got throughout the day about
just the boor and his shit. You know? Right now,
the news that's hot in the wrestling world is this.
I'm not even reading into it. Because I don't really
give a fuck. It's this Nicky Bella and Wade Barrett
(44:21):
drama and I'm not Yeah, something about Wade Barrett said
something during her match at Clash at Paris and and
I don't know what it was. I don't really care.
All I know is Wade Barrett got taken off in commentary.
So now it's gonna be Corey Graves and Michael Cole
on Raw and SmackDown.
Speaker 4 (44:40):
Dad, I did hear, Dad? I did hear that Wade
was out? I don't know. Did he get relegated to uh,
I'm sorry, delegated down to NXT or is he like
all fall together?
Speaker 3 (44:50):
He might go down to NXC. I'm not sure. It
seems like they treat NXT as the punishment because Corey
Graves got mouthed about something and he got put down
a NXC for a while.
Speaker 4 (45:01):
Yeah. Uh, well, if that's the case. On the Wrestling News,
I got one for you.
Speaker 3 (45:07):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (45:08):
It was about Rye back and it was pointed out
that Goldberg and made a w W E return, aj
Lee And made a w W return, and not too
long after aj made her return, right Back tweeted feed
me more at WWE and not too long after took
the tweet down.
Speaker 3 (45:28):
Hmmm, right back, Oh god, I don't think I need
to see him back in the company.
Speaker 4 (45:37):
You and many others, my friend.
Speaker 3 (45:39):
No, I don't thank you. I don't think he'll ever
come back to the company. I'm good.
Speaker 4 (45:43):
That was That was pretty much the official consensus as
far as comments go on what I read.
Speaker 3 (45:50):
If that's a rumor, that's just stay stay.
Speaker 4 (45:56):
There's somebody somebody said he's like the t MoU Goldberg,
which I just died. For like five minutes. I was
rolling on the floor laughing. Mhmm.
Speaker 3 (46:09):
Yeah. They were pushing it for a little bit to
be like the Goldberg, the new Goldberg, and just yeah,
they failed that miserably. When oh, I forget who finally
put him down. I don't know if it.
Speaker 4 (46:21):
Was Shield and see him Punk. Yeah I believe yeah,
something because I know what h right back had the
championship and then gave it up the Punk and kept
having these matches to try and get it back, but
the Shield would interfere. Uh. And then just I think
it's not too long after that, Ryeback was just gone.
Speaker 3 (46:48):
I really hope you don't ever come back.
Speaker 4 (46:52):
I can hear the face in the hands of the
whole such just thinking about.
Speaker 3 (46:56):
It and the big eye rolling all I know, to
be honest, Like, the the w W roster is so
fucking large right now. Any idea of wrestlers coming to
the company, I'm like, you know, I I'm hearing rumors
of Uh Jericho's contract is up. I believe at the
end of the year, there's rumors about him coming back
(47:18):
to w W to retire possibly, you know, I I
agree that would be awesome. That's where he wind winds down.
But I'm just like, where the where the fuck are
you gonna fit in? And you know, the Crown Jewel,
you know, have your last match of Crown Jewel. Thanks Jericho, Like,
roster's fucking stacked.
Speaker 4 (47:37):
Man, Where and how can we fit you in to
do your your goodbyes?
Speaker 3 (47:44):
Dude? Like, I was very surprised that we're able to
fit a retirement match with Tina in there. Uh, you know,
retirement tour match, and you know we got Russive on
the last card. I was surprised he was even able
to get on the card. You know, Uh, there's I
don't know, we only had like five or six matches
last pay per view, and when you really look at
(48:05):
the numbers, it's not a lot of people. It's not
a lot of people. It's like maybe twenty people in
the whole card, and there's so many people, like god
damn ross.
Speaker 4 (48:16):
Even if you're trying to tell like other stories in
the background, like the vignettes or whatever they call them,
you know, the cutaways and everything, like, yeah, it's still
like you're adding another six eight people at most, So
like how many more can you really do?
Speaker 3 (48:33):
Yeah, I know, the amount of pay per reviews a
year has just gone up so much because it just
seems like we never get a break, even for PCW.
We just it's like every time we turn around, it's
like bam pl e bam pl e bam Summer Slam
two nights. The fuck? What the fuck just happened?
Speaker 4 (48:59):
Yeah, that one, I was I was surprised about that one.
I think it, if if anything, it was probably inevitable.
Probably inevitable given that, like it's what the their their
second quote unquote WrestleMania of the season, uh, the unspoken WrestleMania,
if you will. At least I think that's how it
was like pushed for a few years there and then
(49:20):
they just kind of dropped it. But yeah, like it's
just one after another. Uh and and nothing like what
they used to do. Like you had what uh New
Year's Revolution uh or New Year's Resolution or something like that.
You had Vengeance Day.
Speaker 3 (49:41):
You know.
Speaker 4 (49:41):
ELC was a standalone pay per view for a while, Like,
but you don't have those anymore. It's just new stuff.
Speaker 3 (49:48):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 4 (49:53):
Ouch.
Speaker 3 (49:57):
What else I want to ask you? Uh? Yeah, so
how much like during the week do you like because
this is a big controversy, I say with like, you know,
every couple of weeks, it seems like we're having to
switch apps to have to watch Raw or SmackDown or
or p l e S or NXT or you know TNA. Now,
but like, what what are you able to catch during
(50:19):
the week?
Speaker 4 (50:21):
Uh So every Monday religiously roll right, and I have
the Hulu that I can I can you know, I
just got that so I can get into the SmackDown.
Uh you know, yes, it was driven by the whole
A j Lee uh cmpunk and vision storyline, you know,
(50:43):
But I have that now, so with that I can
I can start dipping more into n X t H,
NXT lost me when they did that rebrand when they
were doing like the color splash theme and everything. So
to try and get back into that and see what
new material they have as far as characters, storylines, you know,
(51:06):
who's getting ready to come up into business. You know,
that would be interesting to see again for a while there.
I want to say, prior to twenty twenty three, late
twenty twenty three, I was into AW what was that
every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Unfortunately that's fallen by the wayside.
(51:28):
I catch what I can on highlights or on reels.
But yeah, SmackDown and Raw that's my that's my church
every Monday and Friday.
Speaker 3 (51:43):
Yeah, wrestling church. That's true. Man. I literally just try
to get it where I can and if I can
catch like an episode, I have like a bunch of
YouTube pages I follow that give me highlight reels. But yeah,
I think I try to stay up late. I mean,
you and me both, we got me up early. And
(52:04):
those those guys always wanted to extend Raw longer and
longer drives me nuts.
Speaker 4 (52:11):
I heard for a while they're running the three hour
time format. I was surprised about after they initially went over.
Speaker 3 (52:19):
Yeah, I mean honestly, we don't need the two the
three hour format. I wish we had two hours. It's
just all ads, dude. It's ads, long ass entrances. That's
what eats up all the time. I mean, there was
a time where Hulu would cut down an episode of
Raw or is it SmackDown? Yeah, they cut down an
(52:42):
episode of SmackDown or something like that down to like
an hour and twenty minutes, and it just cuts out
all the bullshit.
Speaker 4 (52:48):
Goodness.
Speaker 3 (52:49):
Yeah, dude, I mean it's amazing. I mean, even like
now when I had to review, I go back and
I review a pl E before I watch it again
for the second or third time, before you know the
the episode we're gonna record, and I'm just fast forward
through fucking ads all the time. It's like, holy shit,
(53:10):
Like you know, did the opening. It's very rare that
they started anything immediately. It's just h Michael Cole has
a lot of ship to say.
Speaker 4 (53:23):
The ads were. The ads were very heavy on Friday.
I feel yeah, they were. They were pretty lengthy. Uh
And I can't remember who it was that commented on it,
But as far as like what was seen live to
what you saw on TV, there was like three segments
total on TV. Uh and then like the rest of
(53:45):
it was just commercials, you know, and it was ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (53:54):
Yeah, sorry, uh raw Lake. Uh, it's it blows my
mind how many the ads that we have now, Like
in the middle of the ring, just like six seven ads.
The ring posts have ads, the prime station, the the aprons,
Like it's fucking ridiculous. But when I tune in SmackDown, Nope, none,
(54:17):
there's none, dude. The ring is clean, it's pure. I
love it. It's it is yeah, dude. I mean it's
it's very subtle that you don't realize it. I don't know.
For me, it's like, oh shit, that's right. There's no
there's no fucking ads, which kind of you know, some
(54:37):
people forget that. I guess we're kind of overlooking the ads.
We're trying to become numb to it. That like when
you go to somewhere where there's SmackDown, we don't have
any another place. A pl e that we didn't have
any this year was uh, the Saudi the when we
go over Saudi Arabia, there's no ads, no prime station.
Oh you know what, there might have been a prime station,
(55:00):
but there was no other ads though for sure, for
sure that that ring.
Speaker 4 (55:05):
Was pure there was a prime station, because I believe
there was a prime station. No, I'm sorry, I'm thinking, but.
Speaker 3 (55:17):
Yeah, uh.
Speaker 4 (55:20):
Uh I. I saw a comment on uh on a
post as to the effect of somebody was trying to
blame it on Triple h you know, and and unfortunately
that man is catching a lot of heat for stuff
that he doesn't have control of. And I think that's
(55:41):
one of them. Like dude, he just creates storylines and
helps the action unfold. What does he have to do
with you know, who's who's stamping her name on the
center of the ring.
Speaker 3 (55:54):
It's all about the.
Speaker 4 (55:57):
Money, money, money, money, Shane O Mack.
Speaker 3 (56:03):
Oh boy, Yeah, I think I think our next p
l E is Russell paloozasll what fuck, dude, Like, I
never thought I'd be saying those words, Wressell Palooza. Really,
we're gonna try to make this as big as WrestleMania.
Speaker 4 (56:20):
I heard, Yeah, for basic television, that would be interesting.
Speaker 3 (56:27):
No, this is PN, I believe.
Speaker 4 (56:32):
Oh oh, I thought this was like on one of
their their extra ESPN channels.
Speaker 3 (56:37):
Yeah, I believe this is for the first ESPN p
L E. Yeah. They It's crazy how quickly they were
to get off peacocks soon as they were like, well,
you know, we met our we met our quota, we
can leave early. It's like, I know we're contracted until
next year, but you know we're gonna leave a little early.
(56:58):
We're cool, right, you guys can you guys can keep
nxt though. You guys can do the nxtpls. But well,
where we're gonna leave, We're gonna go to ESPN, Sara,
and that fucked us because, like I was not prepared
to have to get ESPN plus now I was like, Okay,
(57:19):
this is next year. I got plenty of time to
figure the shit out. Nope.
Speaker 4 (57:24):
Right, hey, hey fuck this man. It was surprising to see. Now.
I don't know if it was just specifically for Netflix
or if it was for, like you said, the other
stations that are carrying different events, but something to the
effect of Stephanie McMahon speaking out in favor of VPNs
(57:46):
and you know, being able to expand, Yeah, being able
to expand what you can see at you know, wherever
it's taking place, and then it significantly cuts down on
the cost of what you're paying to watch that event.
Speaker 3 (58:03):
Yeah, you remember the w w appe. There's even a
fucking song for it.
Speaker 4 (58:13):
I think they had like every wrestler any advertisements for it,
pushing it.
Speaker 3 (58:16):
Oh nine ninety nine, bring it back, just like bring
that back, bring back the five dollars foot long like
damn man, amen God, simpler times, bring bring it back
to bring SmackDown back to antenna. It was free on
upn just free man. You know. Fuck, I have a dream, man,
(58:42):
I'm gonna and like one day we're gonna have everything
on one app all over again. Everything's just gonna be
one fucking.
Speaker 4 (58:49):
App, centralized, maybe easy to acces'.
Speaker 3 (58:55):
You know what it'll be when Disney fucking buys WW
and it's all Onney has all of it.
Speaker 4 (59:03):
No, please don't no, because then you just you just
revert right back to the PG thirteen area.
Speaker 3 (59:11):
It would go hard. It would go hard back to that.
I I you know, I was thinking about it. I
was like, at one point before they got business with TK,
I was like, man, what if like would be fucking
bananas if like Disney bought them, like they have the money,
it would it'd be crazy. That'd be that'd be crazy ship.
Speaker 4 (59:33):
And that's and that's Disney's market too. Is investing in
something that the interest is there, the viewership is there,
and the merchandise sales are there, and like you said,
WW is right up there alley. But I mean, I
don't know. I think I think they probably know that
they would lose so many viewers doing that. Maybe that
(59:59):
it's not it's not an investment for them.
Speaker 3 (01:00:02):
Maybe I mean maybe maybe so maybe not. I mean having,
like I've always said, the one thing that WW should
do in the United States. They have some over and Saudi's,
but they need to have a physical hall of fame,
physical hall of fame.
Speaker 2 (01:00:18):
Man.
Speaker 3 (01:00:18):
I want to be able to be like, oh shit, dude,
like I don't know, in Florida, like where they did NXT,
Like there's a hall of fame, like down the road,
like we can go and you pay, I don't care.
It's like ten bucks to get in fifteen whatever, bro
go in there. There's boots, you know from Andre the Giant.
There's you know, like a Boa from hul Cogan from
(01:00:40):
like WrestleMania six. I don't fucking know. Like, I don't know,
Like there's so much you could have, Like they have
warehouses just full of crap. I've seen videos.
Speaker 4 (01:00:53):
They could have easily done that with with Titan towers,
you know, instead of selling it off, they could have
just Okay, let's take out all the office space, open
it up and set up booths for different decades, different wrestlers,
different factions, whatever, because you have so many floors and
so much space to do it. And I thought that
(01:01:13):
was the initial idea when they started doing Most Wanted Treasures, Yeah,
was to do something like that, and then you know,
it just never turned into anything other than them just
wanting to hoard. I don't know, I can't say that.
Speaker 3 (01:01:27):
No, that is like they are they hord dude. It's
in warehouses, just fucking sitting there when I feel like
a lot of that shit could be on display somewhere
at like a hall of fame, whether it's a traveling
hall of Fame, even, you know, like they set up
at like at one of the conventions. They probably do,
they but it's not enough, man, Like I would love
(01:01:49):
the idea knowing that somewhere is a physical hall of fame,
that I can pack up a road trip with me
and a bunch of my PCW peeps and we can
drive out to the Hall of Fame.
Speaker 4 (01:02:00):
Like a like a Madame Tissou's wax Museum. You know
what I mean. You have different locations. Maybe you do
the same characters, but different iterations at each location.
Speaker 3 (01:02:10):
Oh like was that Ripley's Believe it or not? Like
there's one Yeah City, and I bet there's one in Wildwood,
Like oh hell yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:02:20):
I was at the one in Wildwood. That one was
pretty sick.
Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
Yeah, that was pretty cool. In Ocean City I was
at last week.
Speaker 4 (01:02:27):
Was that the one with the giant shark moving through it?
Speaker 3 (01:02:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:02:31):
Yeah, that was the one that I was in. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:02:36):
Yeah. Man, Well, dude, like I appreciate you, you know, being
here for an hour chit chatting me up with about
some wrestling. Got to know a little bit more about
you and some of your history, who your favorite wrestler is,
and you know, got to know about some merchi. Got uh,
some interesting wrestling stories You're gonna pursue maybe going to
another event when it comes nearby. That's great.
Speaker 4 (01:02:58):
I really appreciate it, you know. Like I said, listening
to you and the other guys podcast, I still I
feel like a novice, but I'm I want to expand
and you know, get out there and and see some
stuff and in real life and you know, uh, as
you guys close in on one hundred episodes, I just
want to say, congratulations man. Without the dedication from you
(01:03:19):
and everybody else putting in the time and the attention
to detail, it wouldn't have been possible. So to you, sir, congratulations.
Speaker 3 (01:03:26):
Thank you very much. Man. Yeah, and I'd love to
have you back on. So now that the peeps here
listening to get to know you a little bit better,
we're more comfortable with this. So when we hear that
