(00:29):
the people of birth an ideal tostrive towards door. Race behind you and
will stumble or four. But intime they will join you when the sun
gool. In time, you willhelp them accomplish wonders come to me,
(01:18):
Son of John. Welcome to anotherepisode of the podcast Full of Kryptonite,
your source for truth, justice, and commentary of steel related to the CWTV
(01:40):
show Superman and Lois. I amone of your hosts, John Reid.
My other podcast is the I FeelLike That's a bumper Sticker. My other
ride is a right My other rideis the thirty something Movie Podcast. And
the other voice you hear on theline here is Jason Colfin, one half
of the Dynamic mcduo that runs theSurely You Can't Be Serious podcast? What's
(02:04):
up Man? How are you doingtoday? I'm doing good. I'm doing
good. Um we are. We'realmost to the end here with this season
and it's weird. The penultimate episodeof this one. We've only got one
more left after this one, butum, the mister Luthor was released in
this one. So, I mean, this is this is big stuff,
long time coming. He's been namedropped several times this season, so they've
(02:29):
been hanging onto this for a longtime. Yeah, it's kind of waiting
for something to happen for a longtime. Yeah. Yeah. So so
I let's just let's get right oninto it. Um. So this episode
was this is season three, episodetwelve. It is the next to last
episode. I believe it's the nextto last episode of the season and or
(02:50):
if if not, we've only got, you know, maybe a couple more
left. Um. This one iscalled Injustice and this was directed by the
man's name was Sudds Sutherland. Mhe has it kind of sounds like a
nineteen thirties gangster or something. Iwonder what he did in college, right,
Yeah, But he has been he'sbeen a writer and a director.
(03:14):
He directed um episode, directed anepisode of Batwoman, UM, I think
an episode of Supergirl, a coupleepisodes of The Flash, couple episodes of
Legends of Tomorrow. So he's donea lot of Arrow Verse stuff. And
he's done three episodes of Superman andLois. So he's been around a bit
and he also has a UM Ithink he also has a couple of movies
(03:36):
that he's done. Did a moviecalled Home Again, so he's been around,
he's he's done some stuff. Buthe is the director of this one.
And in this one we are introducedfor the first time to this show's
Lex Luthor. So we'll get tothat here in just a second. We
start the episode though, with avoiceover where Lois is kind of talking about
(03:57):
healing, and you know, youget a kind of a series of shots
of you know, her dealing withthe aftermath of her procedure that she had
to have done, and then youknow, got some scenes of Clark,
you know, trying to help herout and washing her hair for her,
and you know, just trying totrying to be a good husband and help
her out. And the voiceover kindof then kind of ends with leaning towards
(04:19):
she published this article about Bruno Mannheimthat was going to cause most likely caused
Lex Luthor to get released from prisonbecause it was discovered that he did not
do the things that he was putin prison for supposedly doing. So that
is that's the worry, is thatwhile she is working through healing, just
(04:40):
probably a guarantee that mister Lex himselfis not so ready to heal. And
we find out he's been in prisonfor two decades because of this. Ye
so, I mean that's that's prettyrough. That's a long time. He's
got some pent up bitterness and anger. Yeah yeah, yeah, and so
I want to hear her words no, no, so And as we find
(05:05):
out a little bit later in theepisode, um, you know, this
has had some repercussions on him.He still still seems to be a fairly
powerful guy. Like there's stuff thathe can still get away with and people
that he still has working for him. Um. But one thing we noticed
in several different scenes, he's gota picture of a of a young girl
up on the wall of his prisoncell. And we find out later on
(05:26):
that that is his daughter. Idon't know that they ever said what her
name was, um, but umtes mock Luther, right, yeah,
there you go. Yeah. Um. In the comic books, there was
a portion of time in which Lexdid have a daughter, and her name
was Lena Kay. Her name wasso the possibility. Um. But we
(05:49):
find out a little bit later onthat when he went into prison, his
daughter was fourteen. She stopped talkingto him at that point. So,
I mean, it's years later. His daughter would be thirty four at this
point, and they have no relationshipat all, And that's one of the
things he seems to be most upsetabout, is that twenty years of his
life was wasted. But more importantly, his daughter will not talk to him,
and that is the one thing heseems to be most furious about.
(06:12):
So does actually made me a littlebit sympathetic toward that character, because that
would be very upsetting, right rightright. In fact, except for the
fact that he's Lex Luthor, thereare moments during this episode that I'm like,
oh, good lord, I ammore sympathetic towards Lex Luthor than I
am Jordan. Right now, thiskid's driving me nuts. I actually I
(06:33):
like Lex Luthor better than I doSuperboy. Oh man, you and I
were talking before the podcast started, and we got rolling on the Flash and
Batman eighty nine and Henry Cavill andGal Gadot and Wade DC is handling all
these movies, and we moved onto Indiana Jones and so I've got some
(06:57):
I got some bad attitude, man, Let's see if you can pull it
out of me. We might havesome pent up anger too. We haven't
been in prison for twenty years, but I feel a little bit like Lex
loser, a little pent up anger. Maybe we should just shave our heads
and it'll all be better. Giveme your words, Yeah, yeah,
I thought he was in a slapClark. It was almost like a Will
Smith at the oscars your words inyour mouth and um. So then we
(07:27):
cut to a scene we see Lexin prison at Strikers, which is you
know the name of the island prisonthat actually it's it's an island in the
comic books. If he's able towalk to Smallville, I'm thinking it's probably
not an island, um, butfor all those islands they have in Kansas,
um. And so he's in Striker'sprison. He gets the notification that
(07:48):
Judge Reagan has ruled for his release, and he you know, then from
that point we see him go walkabout for the rest of the episode.
Um, we do a lot ofyou There was not a ton of action
in this episode. There's a lotof a lot of the family drama going
on. So if you're you know, if you're a listener to this and
you're not as much a fan ofsome of the family drama. And I'll
(08:11):
even go so far as to sayI'll just you know what, I'll just
say it right out of the gate. This, for me, except for
some of the Lex Luthor stuff, was probably the weakest episode of the entire
season. I agree with you,Okay, all right, I told you
I thought it was a little bitlike Three's Company. There's just a lot
of misunderstandings, a lot of hesaid, she said, just bs at
(08:33):
the beginning of this thing, yeah, and a lot of There have been
times throughout this show, throughout throughoutall three seasons of this show so far
where I've said, you know whatI appreciate about this show. I appreciate
that they don't do some of thesame like stupid misunderstandings that the CW shows
used to do. Yeah, Iremember you saying that. Yeah, Yeah,
Like like back when Smallville was andI love the TV show Smallville,
(08:54):
but back when Smallville was on theair, there would be these misunderstandings that
would carry on for like six episodes, and I'd be like, Okay,
a simple misunderstanding does not a seasonlong arc make right, don't do that.
And so when this show would handlethese and like man, we have
a we have a misunderstanding here, and then after we come back from the
commercial, it's like, hey,I was being real stupid and I misunderstood
(09:18):
what you said and I jumping usionsand I'm sorry about that. Oh okay,
I'm sorry too. Great, let'smove on with the story. That's
what this show has done well upto this point. Yeah, and I
kind of felt like this episode thatthere were too many of those kind of
stupid misunderstandings, and I was like, oh, guys, we're no,
this is all the stuff. Ijust got done. We can't have nice
things, guys, I just gotdone saying that as a show, you
(09:41):
do this so well where you don'tdo this kind of stuff, and then
you spend most of an episode doingthis kind of stuff. So, Okay,
I'm gonna I'm gonna cut you alittle bit of slack because you've built
up a lot of good will upto this point. But right right,
you know, this episode, thisepisode got to me a little bit and
get a little grated on my nervesjust a little bit. I'm with you,
keep going. Yeah, So wehave the George Junior and Sarah.
(10:07):
One of the next scenes, they'reat Smallville, high school. Junior is
going on and on about this wholesuper Boy thing, or he doesn't say
super Boy, but he said somebodyrescued him, and it was somebody about
their age, so they probably knowhim. He probably lives in Smallville.
And he's like, yeah, andI did an interview and come to find
out, it was not with thetiny little Smallville Gazette. It was with
the Daily Planet. And so thereis an interview that is out there and
(10:31):
ready to be published in which GeorgeJunior has let somebody know that there is
someone that's a teenager with powers livingin Smallville, Kansas. So at this
point, only an idiot wouldn't beable to put it two together that Clark
Kent and his family moved to Smallvilleand now there's a superpowered teenager and gee
(10:52):
who has two teenagers and looks alot like Clark Kent. We add to
carry the wait, got we gottado it. It was my understanding that
there would be no math. Sothen we have some of these scenes.
We cut through several different scenes prettyquickly. Lois and Clark are talking and
(11:15):
she gets a phone call from Janetfrom the Daily Planet, which I believe
was one of the same characters inone of those scenes in the first season,
and I's still one of my favoritescenes of the whole show, when
Lois is interviewing Superman at the don'tif that was at the Daily Planet.
I think it was at the DailyPlanet, and I think Janet is the
person that's there with her, andshe's like they're kind of whispering to each
(11:37):
other. He's like, Hey,he's kind of cute, isn't he And
they don't realize he's got superheroing andcan hear everything they're saying. I think
that's the same Janet. I thinkit's the same character. So she calls
Lois and says, hey, Ijust don't you live in Smallville. I
just heard this story right on asmall Ville canvas, Kansas, that there's
a kid there with superpower as ateen superhero. And of course Lois is
(12:00):
like, no, I haven't heardanything about it. Sorry, wait a
minute. Superman used to live inMetropolis and now he lives in Smallville,
just like you guys. And it'samazing. There's a crazy amount of things
that keep happening in Smallville, likeall the Kryptonians that were there like a
year or two ago and that wholeAlley Alston thing with the alternate universe and
(12:22):
the second like cube shaped Earth. It's all happening in Smallville, Kansas.
So weird, I wonder, Yeah, that's like and I'm trying to figure
like how big of a town Smallville, Kansas. I mean, seems like
just from the town square and everythingelse, I'm picturing it as being like
a town of maybe let's say, maybe a couple thousand people, okay if
(12:46):
I mean, And that's maybe beinggenerous. My family for many many,
many many years, a lot ofthe family that I have that is from
Missouri all came from this one littletown of about two thousand people in southwest
Missouri. And I guarantee you ifsuperpowered stuff kept happening in Cassville, Missouri,
(13:09):
I guarantee that would be a newsstory and somebody would figure that out.
You think you think, I think, you know. I get this
weird hunch that somehow somebody would belike, maybe we should go check that
town out. Superman again saves boyat Silver Dollar City, right, exactly
right, and Superman just standing there. No, I really just love firing
(13:31):
the hole, guys. Exactly. There you go, it's it's fired the
last year, firing the hole sidenote, Are you kidding me? They
were retiring firing the hole this year? This year? Yep, at the
end of the summer, at theend of this summer. Yeah, I
feel like I got to make anemergency trip now. Yeah, I know,
right, Okay, all right, that changes some of my summer plans.
(13:54):
Hey, if you go down there, maybe we'll meet up in person
one of these days. Okay, all right, I gotta think through because
I didn't know that what was happeningFire in the Hole retiring. Oh man,
Okay, all right, you've kindof blown my mind now, but
yeah, I mean that's there was. Yeah, it's just I don't know.
Somebody, somebody to figure this out. And I'll skip ahead for just
(14:16):
a moment, and I'll say,my guess is going to be that Lex
Luthor is not a stupid man.And Lex will see some of the articles
about a teen superhero in Smallville,Kansas that he just walked to. And
I mean he had a lot oftime to think on his walk. He's
the greatest criminal mind of our age, exactly, and he just spent a
good At the end of this episode, he spent a good i don't know,
(14:37):
like five or six seconds just staringinto the eyes of Clark Kent.
And Okay, I get it thatLex Luthor has never been able to tell
that Clark and Superman are the sameperson. But I guarantee Lex Luthor,
who can stare into Superman's face andstare into Clark Kent's face, would be
able to be like, wait aminute, guarantee. So that's going to
(15:01):
be one of my predictions is maybethat's one of the cliffhangers at the end
of this season, is that Lexcomes out and like announces to the world.
He's like, Hey, by theway, everybody, here's my revenge
Superman. Clark Kent married to LewisMaine. They've got two kids. They
live in Smallville, Kansas. That'dbe a fantastic cliff Criminals of the World,
You're welcome. Yeah, yeah,Like I could picture that being the
(15:24):
cliff because I'm trying to and we'rekind of jumping around now, but I'm
trying to picture why this whole thingwith Jordan going a wall or kind of
going off the reservation a bit andgoing, yeah, being a brat.
I feel like, while there havebeen moments throughout this season of kind of
leading up to him maybe acting thatway. I felt like it was it
(15:48):
happened really fat, like it escalatedquickly. Oh, we had kind of
moved past that. Yeah, Ithought so too. Now granted as a
teenager, so I'm not sure thatyou ever moved past weird decisions, right,
but so I could kind of seethat being something where it's like,
Okay, so we've we've now escalatedthis. We've accelerated this whole thing so
that he acts this way, sothat he gets Selfie's taken of himself to
(16:12):
the point where it helps Lex Luthorfigure out what's going on, so that
we can have this cliffhanger going intonext season of now you know, basically
Lois Clark and the boys are.I don't know if they're on the run
or if they go back to Metropolisor what. Because well, I was
gonna talk about this later, butit seems like a good time to do
(16:33):
it now. Have you been followingsome of the stuff about what they're doing
for next season? I read somearticles, yes, so slashing back on
the cast. Yeah, so generalGramps has already said he's not coming back
for next season. Right. SoDylan Walsh is the actor, and he
already I think on Instagram. Iwant to say, his wife put something
up on Instagram and said, yeah, it's been a great run. You
(16:56):
know, we're so appreciative of theshow and everything else. But so basically
I think what happened was they wereoffered the entire cast except for the fraternals
and Lois and Clark were they weretold, okay, next season, instead
of thirteen episodes, we've got ten, right, ten episodes. Of those
ten episodes supporting cast, we arewilling to give you anywhere from I want
(17:21):
to say, like some of thearticles said, we're willing to give you,
like, you know, supporting partsin seven of those ten episodes,
so like cutting way back, likeyou know, it wouldn't even be even
people that are considered series regulars. They were not going to be considered series
regulars anymore. So even if theysigned on for those seven out of the
ten episodes, no guarantee how muchscreen time they would get in those seven
(17:47):
out of ten episodes. The initialreports were that Dylan Walls, who plays
General Gramps and I'm blanking on hername, Lana, that Lana oh Chek
yeah, um, that she hadalso decided not to come back, and
(18:07):
then everybody kind of backtracked and they'relike, oh, no, no,
no, Actually it was only DylanWalsh that said he wasn't coming back,
so so far we haven't heard.Okay, so supposedly he's the only one
that's actually confirmed that's not coming backthat everybody else, everybody else. At
this point, no one else hassaid no, I'm not coming back.
Um, so we don't really knowhow much each of them are going to
(18:29):
show up next season. It'd beinteresting. So the article I read may
have been a few days ago whatever, General Grant's out, Lana out,
and then of course the Kush out. Yeah. What I read about him
was he had posted up he'd justbought a home in Texas, and so
(18:51):
somebody had tried to make the connection. They're like, oh, man,
you just bought a home in Texas, so you're not going to be in
Vancouver filming Superman and Lois anymore. And he or someone else from his family
like responded to that post and said, no, no, no, it's
just gonna be a really long commute. So okay, So I don't know.
He may have it's been a coupleof days since I've read anything.
So if he's come out afterwards andsaid no, actually I'm out, maybe,
(19:15):
So it's it's all kind of upin the air right now. But
because of that, what it's makingme wonder is, so, then what's
going to happen with the show?Like if all the supporting characters are if
they're all either not coming back ornot coming back in the same way,
then does that even mean the showstays in Smallville? Like do we go
(19:37):
back to Metropolis for the last seasonor what do we do? Do we
go to a completely different Is thislike Lois Clark and the Boys on the
Run? It definitely changes the dynamicof the show for sure. Yeah,
so definitely less scenes of the diner. I'm guaranteeing then probably not the diner.
Diner set is probably done after thisseason. I'm guessing maybe maybe Lex
(19:59):
blows it up or something thing andthat's like a final farewell. So,
like I said, we've kind ofmad jumping around just a little bit on
some of this one of the onesI want to go back to, and
then we can kind of we'll talka little bit about some of the Lex
Luther stuff because that was my favoriteof this whole episode, and I want
to I want to talk about thingsI enjoyed about this episode. So I'm
gonna get I'm gonna get one lastthing in on the stuff I didn't really
(20:22):
enjoy and just say this whole conversationthat kicked it off with Lana and Sarah
where they were talking about, well, Jordan was just bragging about this whole
thing. So if he doesn't careabout his secret, why should I?
And I went back and I watchedthat scene a couple of times where George
Junior is talking about this and andyou know, Jordan is like, well,
maybe the guy was a hero. And I'm watching this and I'm going,
(20:45):
how's he bragging? Right? Like, I can see maybe a teeny
tiny little bit that maybe he's bragging, but he might also be just trying
to cover it up by you know, nobody would suspect that if this was
actually Superboy trying to keep his secret, he's going to start bragging about being
a hero. So maybe it's partof a cover up. Maybe it's I
don't know, you know, he'sjust trying to like he's sick and tired
of people making fun of the goggles. So he just wanted to say something,
(21:07):
um, but then it turns intothis whole thing of you know,
Sarah goes to Lana is like hewas bragging. I don't want to keep
his secret, and Lana's like, that's terrible. He's a horrible human being.
And then we go marching to theKents to complain to them about the
whole thing, or we go marchingto the grist to complain about the whole
thing. And I'm sitting there andI'm going, why why are the adults
(21:29):
feeding into the high school drama?Right? Don't do that? Adults don't,
don't. Yeah. So I wastalking to my buddy Tristan Martin,
who has been on the show acouple of times. Tristan was like,
you know what, Jordan's been sucha banda button, such a brat in
this entire season. They just needto take a trip to the fortress.
Him step in the old special powersbox and whoops, he loses his powers.
(21:55):
John steps in. Let's just dothe old switcheroo because Jordan an analyt,
Let's give him to John and moveforward from there. Yeah, yeah,
yeah, I'd be okay with thatbecause Jordan has been such a I
mean, he's been immensely unlikable thisentire season, so which I'd rather if
they were going to do so likehim, you know, him working through
(22:18):
these emotional issues and the stress ofhaving the powers and the responsibility that comes
with it. If they were goingto do that, I wish they would
have done that from the first season, because I feel like up until this
season, they kind of dropped thefact that, you know what, that's
one of the reasons they moved toSmallville was because he was having all kinds
of issues. He was having panicattacks, he was having all kinds of
(22:41):
psychological issues when they were living inMetropolis. Part of the reason they moved
to Smallville was to give him ayou know, somewhat quieter life and let
you know, Clark be a littlebit more present at home and all that.
And then they kind of dropped itfor for nearly two seasons until and
that's what I That's what I likedabout the Complications episode where Lois is having
(23:04):
her procedure and he's kind of freakingout and that's when he gets his X
ray vision is it kind of wentback to, Hey, remember that Jordan
used to be like this, andthen we just kind of took that away
from his character for two seasons, and now it's kind of back again,
Like if he's going to be actingthis way more and more. I kind
of would have liked it if itwas a consistent thing over three seasons that,
(23:26):
you know, because because to me, then that's interesting, like what
do you That's one of the oneof the things I loved about Man of
Steel was I love the idea ofyoung Clark kent As almost being treated as
if he was a you know, special needs child, because how does how
does an eight year old deal withthe fact that he can see through his
(23:47):
teacher. He freaks out, iswhat he does, and he thinks he's
a weird kid, and he thinkshe's not like the other kids, and
he has he has special needs. Now these special needs allow him to you
know, burn through a wall bylooking at it. But that's the one
of the things I loved about I'mlike, that's so awesome that Man of
(24:08):
Steel kind of started to take thecharacter that direction and that maybe he would
be, maybe he would be laterin life a little socially awkward, because
that's how he grew up and that'swhat he had to deal with. If
you're going to do that with Jordan, then then do it throughout, like
keep that going for his character anddon't just have it be a yeah we
did it in the first few episodesof season one, and now we're going
(24:29):
to do it in the last fewof season three, like to be consistent
with it, Like, do thatwith his character and then I'll be more
okay with it. Yeah, thisepisode seemed like they were writing it while
they were packing their desks. Itdefinitely felt that way, you know what
I mean. Yeah, And Iremember, sorry, we've got to put
a tail on this. How aboutyeah? How about we do this that
(24:51):
and this well? And I remembersaying when we when we were talking before,
I'm like, well, they're goingto wrap up this cancer storyline with
two episodes left to go in theseason, and then what do you wait?
Why? And then who's the badguy? And what are we doing?
Bad guy? What are we doing? So now we're kind of this
episode. While well, I've beengiven them the benefit of the doubt for
the whole season because I think it'sbeen a really strong season, this is
(25:11):
the episode where I'm like, Okay, so we're gonna introduce Lex Luthor.
I'm gonna cut you some slack becauseI think that's really weird to introduce him
right before the end of the season. Um, but you guys as writers,
as show runners, I trust youyou've done a great job up to
this point. This episode it puta little teeny tiny dent in the Kryptonian
(25:32):
armor. Um, and I waslike, ah, this is this is
the first time where I think maybeyou guys stumbled a bit in some of
this. But there were great therewere great parts to this episode, but
like there were some major there's somemajor faltering on some of it too.
Yeah. Um, so I dowant to uh, in fact, you
(25:53):
know what I'm gonna I'm just gonnajump to that. Maybe we can talk
about, um, the Lex Luthorparts. Yes, so I thought those
were awesome. Like I thought MichaelCutlets as Lex Luthor, he's a very
different Lex Luthor than what probably mostpeople are used to. You know,
usually we're used to the super intelligentand I'm not. I mean, he
(26:14):
definitely seems to be super intelligent aswell, but they're used to like the
super intelligent businessman Lex Luthor who alwaysgets his way, and you know,
he's in the comic books. Mosttimes, he's considered to be as smart,
if not smarter than Batman. Youknow that Lex Luthor the very like
scheming, and you know he iseverybody else is playing twister and he's playing
(26:42):
chess, right, you know, not even on the same game board.
And this Lex Luthor is very different. Like, he still seems to be
very intelligent, he still seems tobe very well connected. He's obviously got
the money, he's got the power, he's got all those other things.
He clearly can be, you know, several steps ahead of people because he
(27:02):
there's that that terrible scene where hegoes into the warden and he's like,
look, why don't you call thisnumber? Making an offer? You call
this number? And he looks atHe's like, well, that's my home
number. Let's go ahead and callit. Yeah, Like that whole scene.
I'm like, good, lord man, Yeah, okay, yeah,
that was good. That's that's LexLuthorum. If anybody wants another example of
(27:26):
this kind of Lex Luthor where he'she's he's basically psychoticum. There was a
short graphic novel that was done inthe late eighties that was called Lex Luthor.
The Unauthorized Biography, and it wasthe character it's supposed to be,
as if this kind of down andout. I think he's like a tabloid
(27:47):
journalist who's had a hard time gettingwork. He's like, you know what,
I'm gonna get my big break.I'm going to show interview Lex Luthor
or I'm gonna I'm gonna get thestory on his life. And you know,
he's not going to approve of thisbecause I'm gonna find all the dirty
details about his life and his familyand you know how he grew up in
whatever, and from that you findout spoiler alert, things don't end well
(28:11):
for the journalist because Lex Lex isnot so happy that this is you know,
this story has been put out therethat he I mean, this Lex
Luthor in the the Unauthorized Biography graphicnovel. He's a murderer, he's a
rapist, he killed his parents asa kid. He inherited his fortune from
(28:33):
the life insurance policy. You know, he's a terrible person. And I
get vibes of that Lex from thisLex that like, he is a terrible,
terrible human being, and you donot want to cross paths with this
guy. I feel like a lotof the other comic book Lexes and some
of the TV show and movie Lexes, they're at least still charming enough that
(28:57):
you're like, all right, Iknow he's evil, but like him.
I'll have dinner with him because Imean he's like a hair and that's kind
of cool. And yeah, youknow this Lex h no, no,
no, right, I don't wantto be anywhere near the Lex Luthor that's
in Superman and lois because, uh, dude, scary. I heard him
(29:18):
described as, uh, you know, we're used to the billionaire businessman Lex.
This is more like Sons of anarchadeLex. Yes, yeah, And
I thought that's a pretty good description. So he looks it. Yeah yeah.
Um there's another two. If you'veif you've ever watched the Titans show
that was on HBO, um theyhad was he in one or two episodes?
(29:41):
Um, he was very very short. He only shows up very very
briefly in that show. But thatLex is still like businessman Lex, who
you know has his office in thepenthouse of the Lex Core Tower and everything
else. But he feels just inhis whole vibe, he feels very similar
to this Lex that he's you know, he would you know, sure he'd
(30:04):
order one of his henchmen to youknow, go kill somebody. He'd just
as soon also, you know, pull out his own knife and stab somebody
in the alleyway. But yeah,it's it's a it's a creepy it's a
creepy Lex. So they did anice job with with Lex Luthor in this
one. So there are a bunchof scenes where they flash back to him
(30:25):
in prison. Um, so we'restarting with we kind of start off with
him being released from prison, butthen we get all these flashbacks and we
have as he's being released, weget this flashback or not a flashback,
but it's in present time. Areporter says, is your wife going to
(30:45):
take control of Lex Core? Actuallythis is a flashback to when he was
first arrested. So clearly this LexLuthor is married. Um, we find
out he had a roughly fourteen yearold daughter, and then we have a
kind of a flashback to um hesays some thing about um when he's leaving
being released, the warden says somethinglike, UM, so you know,
(31:07):
we we've made the arrangements, theeverything else. UM, I just I
want you to make sure all Ineed for you to do is make sure
that Otis arrives at the time wetalked about, And of course I get
super excited because I'm like Otis,Otis is going to show up? All
right, well I'm on board then, so um so, clearly he and
(31:29):
Otis are going somewhere and I actuallyfound um this might have been a bit
of a deleted scene from this episode, but but yeah, that he and
Otis are actually planning to go ona trip somewhere. Sure, don't eating
thing, mister Luther ride, Maybejust make sure Otis arrives at the time
discuss are we going to So yeah, so apparently Lex and Otis are headed
(31:52):
to Addis Ababa. Um it seemslike you can walk there, but uh
yeah, so um so that's oneof the first scenes. And then I
wanted to Okay, so Superman comicbook fans are going to get this joke.
This episode was called Injustice, andof course there's the Injustice video games
that they have where the storyline inthat one is that Lois is killed and
(32:16):
Superman kind of goes insane and becomesa dictator that kind of you know,
rules the world and all the othersuperheroes are kind of fighting against him.
So that's it's a fighting game.So that's why the superheroes are fighting each
other. That's where the injustice comesfrom. And injustice has been used several
times in the comics. Given thatLex Luthor was walking everywhere during this episode,
(32:37):
I wanted to call this episode groundedbecause if if you're a fan of
the Superman comics, you know that, in my opinion and in the opinions
of anybody who I think has halfa brain, Grounded was the worst Superman
storyline I've ever read in the comics. You've brought this up before. This
(32:57):
is when Superman can't fly. Hecan and fly, he's choosing not to.
Oh, he's so somebody somebody's like, my husband died of cancer,
and why weren't you there? Andso he kind of gets all moody and
gloomy and he's like, you knowwhat, maybe I do spend too much
time in the air. Maybe Ineed to get down among the people I
(33:20):
know. So he spends in thecomics, I want to say it was
at least a year a year's worthof issues in the comics where a Superman
walks from town to town and pullskind of like an incredible Hulk kind of
a thing. And he's walking fromtown to town and he's doing good deeds
and everything else and reconnecting with thepeople. And the only cool thing about
that storyline is when he walked throughIllinois, it was through a town that
(33:45):
I recognized. I was like,Oh, I know where it was,
Mount Prospect, Like I know wherea Mount Prospect is. I've been there
before. We have some relatives thatused to live there. That's the only
cool thing about it. Otherwise itwas the most worthless year of Superman stories
I think I've ever read. Wow. Okay, so I would like to
greet up this episode Grounded instead ofInjustice because Lex Luthor is walking everywhere.
(34:09):
I'm like, all right, thisis Lex Luthor Grounded. Well, not
to mention, Jordan gets grounded forflying around tornado if you want to,
if you want to use this episodetitle that fits with everybody in this episode,
you use grounded. Everybody's getting groundedby the way, being from Oklahoma
(34:30):
and experiencing tornadoes on a regular basis. This was the most ridiculous tornado scene
since the movie Twister nineteen so,and you would think they've learned, because
didn't people get all upset when theytold everybody to head for the overpass in
Man of Steel. Yeah, itdoesn't work out well. And then people
got upset with that. They're like, oh, people do not know how
(34:51):
to handle a tornado. People inKansas would know, like, you should
never go under the over So thewriters of this show should have been like,
man, do you remember when peoplecomplained about that all that stuff off
in Man of Steel, about thewhole tornado thing. Yeah, maybe we
shouldn't do that. Tristan, mygood buddy Tristan and fellow Oklahoma is like,
you know you're not supposed to gointo her overpasses? Come on right,
(35:14):
yeah, all right? Having havinglived through several tornadoes in Texas and
Missouri, I'm like, no,all right, anybody would know you don't
do this. Not to mention andSarah, Sarah the waitress, shouldn't have
had to been the one to tellpeople to get away from the windows either,
m she didn't know how to doit. Everybody's supposed to go outside,
look at it, right, That'sthat's how we do it. That's
(35:35):
how we handle it, and itusually works out well. But you're talking
about Kansas. It's going over corn. It's no big deal. Just let
it run his course and if itgets too close to small village, just
one big breath bloat away and it'llbe fine. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I thought they did. They didmaybe go a little on the on
the cheap side with some of theCGI here for how this was going to
(35:59):
get result because I'm like, wecan have him spin around and like,
I don't know, do the thinghe did with the earth where it goes
backwards and you know, you know, reverse the rotation of the winders.
I don't know. I'm not apunch the tornado. Let's go all right,
punch the tornado and just be donewith it. You know, if
you can look at the Great Wallof China and rebuild it, I feel
like you can exactly or you know, do bring back the big hand slab.
(36:23):
Yeah, that would be good.Okay, we've you know what I
think I think we should right forthe show to give us a call.
We are ready to be hired. We are willing and available to help out
with season four. Um, sogive us call and let us know what
you need. UM. So,as we do some more of these prison
flashbacks, the one guy with thelabel Grisham on his shirt. We find
(36:46):
out that that is Otis. Otisis the prison barber um and for some
reason, Lex wants the clippers umand so really bad, really really wants
these clippers um. And so hekind of starts to pick a fight and
loses the fight. Um. Butthen later we have another flashback where he
(37:06):
goes in to the warden and basicallylets the warden know that well, he
does say, um that Otis andthe other guys have something that he wants.
And I was able actually to uncoveranother piece of deleted scene audio from
this, so um you can reallyfind out what it was. He didn't
want just the clippers. There wassomething else he wanted from Otis in this
(37:29):
maybe next time don't go make himdemand Joe ask can Becca? He has
something I want? Marina Dlex otisBerg Otis who's Desmotraca. She's got her
own place from Otisburg. It's alittle pretty place, otis Burg. You're
gonna help me, yeah, Soso clear Otis had something he wanted um,
(37:55):
and that's where he makes an offerthat the warden can't refuse um because
he has him call home and findsout that his wife has been kidnapped and
his kids are being terrorized and allkinds of really terrible stuff. So later
we then see that the guards puta massive beat down on the guys who
beat up Luther, and then wehave some more scenes of Luther walking.
(38:17):
The storm starts to brew, andthat's where we find out later we've got
the tornado coming. And then Ithink that's that's about it. I think
for the prison flashbacks, that's wekind of get up to speed with who
Otis is and how Lex has kindof like taking over the prison, you
know, and all that stuff.I'm trying to think, when was the
(38:39):
scene that's a little bit later. We do another flashback later, just before
the end of the episode, wherehe does he gets the clippers, he
shaves his head and it shows thathe's pretty much ruling the prison at this
point, and he punches down acouple of times. He's like, yeah,
I was just adjusting my chair, and then when it pulls back a
bit, we see Otis is hischair. Yeah, like okay, all
(39:04):
right, yeah, don't mess withthis Lex Luthor. Yeah. Yeah.
But at the same time, now, when then when he's complaining to Lois
and Clark, He's like, youtook twenty years of my life. You
were basically a king in that prisonfor twenty years. Yeah, So I'm
not sure. I mean, yougot to you got to select what food
you had prepared for you. SoI'm not sure you were really roughing it
(39:24):
quite so much. I Mean, granted, prison never a great place to
be, but I'm not sure it'squite as bad as as all that.
So right, right, you know, maybe don't be too upset. Okay,
So that's I think that's most ofthe lex stuff. The other things
that I wanted to mention is wedo get the whole stuff with Jordan.
(39:46):
Um. He shows up to helpwith the tornado, and then you know,
obviously he kind of cuts in anddoes after he's been told not to.
He jumps in and has a bunchof selfies taken with the crowd.
Then we get a fun scene.Anybody who's ever dealt with a teenager before
should enjoy or appreciate the scene whereyou know, he keeps pulling the stuff
(40:07):
of you know what, I don'tcare whatever, right, like all that
stuff, all the all the teenageystuff that I'm sitting there and I'm going,
oh, oh, kid, don't. Yeah, don't start that because
yeah, yeah, I said, well you've you have not yet been introduced
(40:30):
to the phantom zone, because Imean, your dad has your dad has
a method of time out that youcannot even imagine. That's pretty good.
Yeah, if your dad starts walkingup to you and is carrying this weird
square reflective thingy and like starts tothrow it at you, like yeah,
you know, you're mining your ownbusiness. You're standing out, you know,
playing catch in the yard, andall of a sudden, a couple
(40:51):
of hula hoops spring up around youand you're like, wait a minute,
what's this? And then Clark showsup like some disembodied head and starts going
guilt. And then we don't seeJordan again for another season. Um,
hey, we just had the anniversaryof Superman two just the other day,
by the way, Oh that's right, Yeah, yes, it was this
(41:12):
a couple of days ago, Ithink. So there we go, Happy
Birthday Superman two forty two. Yeah, yeah, Happy Birthday Superman two.
Guilty. Um, so then theyhave Yeah, so we kind of get
to the point at the end ofthe episode that Clark and Lois are talking
(41:35):
about Jordan and what they're going todo about this whole thing. And then
that's where Lex shows up on thefarm that you know, the warden made
a few calls to keep his release, you know, pretty quiet um and
Lex walks up and he's like, hey, so um so, yeah,
so you uh, you had twins, you moved to the country, you
you had cancer. I heard thatwas heard that was going on for you.
(42:00):
And Lois is like, yeah,so you just you're trying to like
show off that you know everything aboutme, and and so then he starts
to get like really angry. Hestarts to talk about his daughter and how
they have no relationship, and hebasically lays it all down and he's like,
look, I your words put meaway. I don't want your words
going anywhere for the rest of yourlife. I want you to retire.
(42:22):
And Lois is like, so you'reasking me to retire. I'm not so
much asking you're going to retire.Yeah, And then they understand that means
a great deal to Lois. Yeah, that means a great deal to Lois.
But is that really that big ofa threat, you know? I
(42:42):
don't know, Well, I thinkI think Lex knows that she will not
retire. He's a smart guy.He knows that with Lois that would never
work for her, Like she couldbarely even make it through cancer treatments without
being a journalist. That's true,You're right. He probably knows that.
Hey, look, I'm gonna getmy revenge on these people. I'll give
him an out. It's not reallyan out, like they don't really have
(43:06):
a choice in all this. I'mgonna make it look like I'm being a
semidecent guy. I'm really not.I'm going to destroy these people. Been
nice if she'd have been like aterminator two moment where she'd turned to Clark's
like grab this guy and he justyeah by his hair and punches in the
heck out of him. Now,huh yeah, just take care of this
guy. Well is he's walking away? He does he does? You know,
(43:28):
come back with and tell Superman he'snext. Well, okay, okay,
bring it. Yeah, you're gonnamake Superman retire, all right,
give it a try. Um.So then we have we have some last
little scenes here. Um that we'vegot Lana and Sarah. They're gonna have
a hair dying party. Um,you know, Clark and Lois are talking
(43:50):
and Jonathan kind of comes down andhe's like, hey, um, Jordan
over heard you talking to Lex Luthorand it's kind of a big deal that
he threatened our family, So youknow, maybe include us in this because
I don't know, it might affectus if the two of you died,
so that that would be super cool. So in the present, so we're
done. I think we're mostly donewith the flashbacks for Lex. But in
(44:14):
the present, Otis shows up.He's the one that actually comes to pick
him up from the farm, sowe know that's where he was planning on
having him pick up from. Sothey arranged this all ahead of time,
and he asks him, were youable to track down doctor Hook? We
know Doctor Hook was the one thatwas working with Bruno Mars as he was
doing all of his experiments, andLex is very interested in the idea of
(44:37):
finding this Bizarro that there is thisthing that Bruno Mars was working on,
and Lex Is like, yeah,I kind of want to see that,
so let's let's go check this out. And we end the episode with they
are creeping around Bruno mars lair andit is dark, it is mostly destroyed,
(45:00):
and he's lex Is there with Otisand they are looking for I think
we decided we decided to call himZomba b Zarrow. Yeah, I think
that's right. I think Zomba Zarrowwas what we decided on because he's kind
of an undead zombie bizarro. Um. Yeah, they found him and he's
kind of creepy. Was he Iwas watching this on my phone, so
I did it. Was he eatinga rat? Yeah? Rat? Okay?
(45:22):
All right, so you know asyou do when you're a zombie bizarro
from another earth. Um, hewas hungry. He was hungry, and
he clearly was also upset that theygot his order wrong at Bazooba's. So
he was just eating a rat um. Yeah. So they found him and
things don't go well for Otis.So I'm gonna here's a bold prediction.
(45:43):
It's a hot take right here.Otis is probably not going to be back
for the next episode. Yeah, based on what sounded like it happened to
him at the end of this episode. So I'm with you. I'm picture
I'm picturing he got eaten by bizarroEden. Okay, I'm picturing he became
(46:05):
an Otis burger Otis burger. Okay. Yeah, that's good. Yeah,
that's that's what I'm picturing because that'syeah. So yeah, so otis probably
not back for next episode. Unfortunately, he another another victim of the show
cutting back on this character's otis notgoing to be a series regular, um
because he became dinner m So yeah, that's where we stand with otis also
(46:30):
a bit of a change in thecharacter for Zaro. Yeah, you know,
he was more like a mentally challengedversion of Superman and now he's like
homicidal maniac so fueral. Yeah yeah, so one episode left, I'm curious
(46:52):
to see where they take this.Um, with only one episode left to
go, right, That's where howI'm at the point. I'm like,
what are you gonna do in oneepisode? Like you've just introduced Lex,
You've you've finally kind of brought backBizarro, even though you've teased a couple
of different times that he's alive andkicking around, and now you've got forty
three ish minutes left to finish outthis season, right, Like that seems
(47:16):
it seems like not enough. Surelythis is the beginning of the Superman versus
Lex season. I would imagine that'sthat would be my thought as well.
And I've told you before don't callme Shirley, but yeah, I've heard
(47:37):
this is going to end on acliffhanger, and some people have been speculating
that, well, General Gramps isnot back, so I bet Lex is
going to kill General Gramps and that'sgoing to be part of the cliffhanger.
And you know, and the nextseason it'll be Lois and Clark versus Lex,
and that's why we don't need asmany of the other characters because it's
mostly going to be the Super Familyversus Lex Luthor in his organization and whatnot,
(48:01):
and so possibly, I mean,it's got to be a cliffhanger at
this point because I just I don'tfeel like I feel like that's irresponsible to
have this wait till the last twoepisodes of the season then to suddenly be
like, oh, yeah, we'regonna wrap it up right right. I
do think the bold move here wouldbe to have some deaths, you know.
(48:22):
Yeah, but once again, theRiders seem like they're cleaning out their
desk because they're writing this down.Yeah yeah, I don't know. It'd
be interesting to see what they cando in forty three minutes. Yeah,
yeah, So I'm gonna stick withmy prediction that I think I think Lex
is going to announce to the worldwho Clark is. I like it.
(48:45):
That was a great cliffhanger when Mysteriodid that to Spider Man. Yeah,
yeah, so I remember leaving themovie theater going, oh crab. Yeah.
So that's that's my prediction. I'mI'm gonna I'm gonna stick with that
one we have a death, amajor death, and then that it'd be
a good clipping and then and thenyou're you're bringing the people back for the
(49:06):
last season of it. So yeah. Um, So, as we've kind
of already we've talked a little bitabout it, next season UM will be
only ten episodes, and it seemslike most of the actors will not at
least not be back in the capacitythey've normally been on this show, and
it's just going to be the kindof the primary actors within the Super Family.
(49:28):
UM. And that's pretty much allwe know for now as to what
the next season is going to looklike, but that it will be the
last season at least as far aswe know, UM, because the CW
is kind of cleaning house, likethey have pretty much wiped out all of
their shows UM and they're just youknow, cutting back on everything because they
want to change the demographic of whowatches their channel, and they want to
(49:51):
do a bunch of like reality TVstuff and other things that cost less than
a you know, special effects, you know, story driven kind of a
series, so they're gonna go withthe cheaper stuff so they can make more
money with it. So that's kindof where we're at for this. But
before we go, we this wholeseason, as we have done every single
(50:13):
time, we nominate a naked Beppofor every episode. And sometimes this is
the person who is having the mostfun in the episode, or this could
be a person who is just likethrowing caution to the wind and acting maybe
against character, or laughing in theface of logic, or something like somebody
that's either acting a little weird orhaving the most fun. Because some of
(50:34):
these episodes, nobody's having fun,so it's a little hard to pick from
that. But so, did youfind a naked Beppo in this one?
I do have a naked Beppo. This one was hard because it didn't seem
like anybody was having any fun atall, including myself, right, But
the only person I could find thatwas having fun in this episode is George
(50:58):
Junior. He had an interview withThe Daily Planet. Yeah, and he's
swearing up and down that there's somebodysuper and he's excited about that fact.
And he's walking around town. He'stelling everybody he knows. My naked Beppo
for this episode, although a littlebit weak, is George j Okay,
(51:21):
that's a good one. That's allI got, man. I couldn't find
anything else, though, I thoughtwas very good. So I'm anxious to
hear what you've got for me.Yeah. Yeah, So mine's a little
different. I took the route ofwho is like laughing in the face of
logic in this episode? Who iswho is just looking right out a situation
and being like, Hey, here'swhat we should do because this would be
(51:45):
amazing if we did this, Andwho's doing the exact opposite of that?
So mine is maybe a little bitof a cynical naked Beppo. Mine is
the executives who are currently running theCW. That's good, are my neked
Beppo? Because I look at thatand I go, you have one of
the best shows that you've had onthis network for years, and what are
(52:07):
you doing right now? You're cuttingback the cast, you're cutting back the
number of episodes in a season. You're you're killing you know, one of
your best shows, if not yourbest show, You're you're basically killing it
because you know, you know thatyou won't have the streaming rights to it
or you won't have you know,so it's not a moneymaker for you.
(52:28):
So yeah, let's just let's justgut the whole thing and you know,
we'll see what we can do witha season four. Right, So I'm
not you know, it's it's inthe same way you and I were talking
before we started recording of you know, like what the Warner Brothers executives are
doing with some of these movies andtheir choice to you know, can the
Batgirl movie and all kinds of otherstuff. I'm like, this is really
(52:50):
starting to drive me nuts. OfLike, you know, as as comic
book fans, we see these storiesthat we love and these characters we love,
and we're like, I just wantto see good story and I will
pay if you put good stories outthere, I'll pay for it. I
guarantee you I'll pay for it.I'll go to the movie theater, I'll
buy the DVD or the Blu rayI'll you know, pay for the episode
on iTunes whatever, and these youknow, the suits that are running everything
(53:15):
is like, well, I don'tknow the bottom line, just uh,
it's not making us enough money here, and we're gonna we're gonna cut it
because we could probably just have Aiwrite the story to the storylines anyway,
So let's just have Ai write thescript and and we'll just do that.
I'm like, no, you guysare so out of touch. Okay,
(53:36):
now I gotta stop you right there, because you dropped a bomb on everyone
just now. He kind of glazedover it, like you dropped this bomb
on me before we started recording.Today, I apologize. There is in
existence at Warner Brothers a completed Batgirlmovie. Yeah that will never see the
light of day? Are you kiddingme? Correct? And it has Michael
(53:57):
Keaton in it, I believe,so yeah, yeah that he was supposed
to be a big part of that. Yep, because that's what I was.
I was excited for that. Iwas not crazy excited about the Batgirl
movie because I was like, ohman, I the Backgard characters is great,
Like I love the character from thecomics, but knowing how they tend
(54:17):
to other than the first Wonder Womanmovie, they don't tend to do a
great job with the female lad superheromovies. And that's not because they're not
good characters. People just don't seemto know how to make the right movies
for these characters. And so Iwas like, all right, well,
I don't know that I'm as excitedfor the Batgirl movie, but Michael Keaton's
(54:39):
going to be in it, Sonow I'm excited because at the very least
I'll go. I'm hoping the restof the movie is really great, but
I'm definitely going to go so Ican see him as Batman one more time,
and then find out he's going tobe in the Flash, I'm like,
oh awesome. Then I get tosee it twice, right, so
yeah, then to find out yeah, nope, they just they can the
whole thing and treat it as attacksright off, and now incredible, It'll
(55:01):
never see the light of day untilmaybe, like, you know, twenty
years from now, somebody's like, you know what, I actually have a
copy of the background behind the counter. I'm gonna I'm actually gonna throw it
up on YouTube or whatever. Yeah, whatever YouTube is in twenty years.
Yeah, So I eventually, maybewe'll see it at some point, but
(55:21):
not anytime soon. Wow. Yeah, you know what we really need,
it's just another Badman Michael Keaton movie. Can we just have that? Please?
Yeah? Absolutely? I would loveto have, you know, Michael
Keaton, if you wouldn't just justdo a series of Batman movies with Michael
Keaton. Yeah, because I'm withyou. I'm not that excited about Bad
Girl, but if Keaton's in andI'm going to watch it. Yeah.
(55:42):
I wasn't that excited about the Flashmovie, but the Keaton stuff was awesome.
So just give us what we want. Well, and you have You've
said that moving forward, you're gonnatreat this kind of like a multiverse,
and the movies don't all have tobe connected with each other. Yeah,
so okay, so you can havemultiple Batman movies. You can have the
new one that's coming out in afew years that's gonna be Batman, and
(56:04):
I think it's gonna be Damian Waynehis son. So it's gonna be a
Batman a Robin movie where it's fatherand son Batman. And I'm like,
okay, that's cool. I lovedthe Batman and Robin comics. When Damien
became Robin. I thought those wereawesome, So sure, I'm up for
that. But then you can haveat the same time, because you're going
to you're gonna have the Batman too, you know, with Robert Pattinson as
(56:29):
Batman, you can have that. You're gonna have a Batman movie with a
completely new Batman and Robin and whynot at this point being like, all
right, cool, then let's alsodo a continuation of the Michael Keaton Batman
character. Let's go who cares? At this point? I don't think the
movie going audience, everybody's always concerned. You're like, well, they're gonna
get so confused, they're gonna think, wait a minute, I thought this
(56:51):
guy was Batman. Well, Ithought this guy was Batman at this point,
who cares? Like everybody knows. With with both Marvel and DC introducing
the multiverse, everybody at this point, or people who would go see these
movies, they know what a multiverseis, so they're not going to be
sitting there going wait a minute,I thought that dude was Batman. Yes,
they both are, right, it'sit's alternate universes. They both are.
(57:15):
Yeah, we skewed off into analternate nineteen eighty five and every everyone
is Batman. That's it, andit's okay. Hey, I was telling
I was telling Jeff Johnson Buddy Minefrom the film my podcast. What they
really should have done was have MichaelKeaton Batman face off against a Michael Keaton
(57:37):
Batman and then have another Michael KeatonBatman who had been a copy of a
copy. Yes, and you gota multiverse multiplicity verse yeah, bad bad
duplicity. Yeah. That so there, that's what you need. You do
a third Batman movie with Michael Keaton, so you have Batman Batman return and
(58:00):
this is the one that you callBatman Forever. Yeah, because the Batman's
go on forever. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely, I think I think that
needs to be done. He canbe fighting clay Face, and then clay
Face is what helps make all thedifferent like Batman clones. Okay, I'm
up for it. I'm up forit. DC, Warner Brothers, James
(58:21):
Gunn, Peter Saffron. We areavailable if you would like us to write
season four or an agent, justcall us. Yeah, just give us
a call. I mean, weare not necessarily professional writers, so I'm
not saying that you need to getrid of everybody on the writing team.
But if anybody wants some input fromthe fan community, we are open and
willing, and I am willing totravel. I don't I'm not even saying
(58:45):
that you have to pay for myairfare to get to Hollywood to be able
to help out with us. I'mwilling to buy my own ticket. So
just I'm putting that out there. Two naked Beppo's ready to go. Yeah,
if you want to do it thissummer um. We are also willing
to meet up at Silver Dollar City. And as long as maybe you just
buy us a ticket so I canride fire in the whole one last time,
(59:07):
I'm willing to do that as well. I will drive to Springfield,
I'll drive to Branson, Missouri, and we'll do it from there. So
really that's it's I think it's awin win for everybody. All Right,
Well we are We're coming up onthe last episode of the season for Superman
and Lois. This one is goingto be called What Kills You Only Makes
(59:30):
You Stronger. It is directed byGregory Smith. He has done you know,
he's been an actor in a bunchof different movies. He was in
The Patriot with Mel Gibson and HeathLetcher, but he has also I believe
he's directed how many episodes nine episodesof Superman and Lois, so he is
(59:52):
definitely a veteran Superman and Lois director. So he's going to be the one
directing the last episode of the seasonand we're gonna finish this one off strong.

already know kind of which way it'sgoing to go, but I bring it,
yeah, because we are going toburn it down talking about those two.

need to understand is even when youlose, even when you win, Jason,
(01:01:15):
you lose. Okay, all right, I'm excited to see what you
