O cientista político e pesquisador de temas eleitorais Joscimar Silva avalia que, embora os cenários apresentados por diversas pesquisas indiquem uma possível vitória do ex-presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) ainda no 1º turno, o início da campanha em agosto deve alterar esse quadro.
“As campanhas têm o poder de provocar esse debate público, envolver e convencer esse cidadão que está preocupado com sua vida cotidiana e que, no momento da campanha eleitoral, questões vão vir à tona e vão tomar conta do debate público de maneira quase geral. Então isso vai fazer com que cidadãos que tenham algumas predisposições possam mudar de tendência”, disse em entrevista ao PoderDataCast nesta 3ª feira (28.jun.2022). Ele é também diretor da Abrapel (Associação Brasileira de Pesquisadores Eleitorais).
