in four games and the only loss coming in a shootout,

are no basketball games back in the day in Buffalo.

think about the play calling on the offensive side of things.
I mean, I don't know if it's just something seems wacky,
and I don't know if it's the coach or the player. Scott,
what do you think.

Uh, Well, I've been on it since like week one
or two. I'm not a big fan. And I know
the one time that you gave it up to your
your quarterbacks coach to call the plays was your most
productive productive offense of the preseason. But it was you know,
twos against twos and threes against threes. But I'm not

been a big fan of Champagne and everybody who calls
him a genius and that's all I hear. I just
to me genius would pop up more than one game
in a row. You know, I want some consistency and
I haven't. You know, they had a good fourth quarter,
because let's be honest, it was crapp through three quarters. Offensively,
absolute crap against Philadelphia. Banger, fourth quarter, banger, last minute

of the third into the fourth. But but when when's
the great? When? When what is this great play caller
gonna show up? Is it the the play calling is
antiquated and too slow and long winded, too overcomplicated, or
does he not have the right players to run what
he wants to do?

Speaker 3 (05:09):
I don't know, man, That game against the Jets was
so disappointing, and you sort of said, okay, well listen,
the game's stunk except for the fourth quarter. But that
fourth quarter was great. They're just gonna easily plow ahead.
And I'm like, all right, here we go, and the
Jets scored. Yeah, because you know you fumbled on the
third play of the game, all right, three nothing? Who
cares you came back down. You couldn't get a touchdown,

but you got the field goal, and you're like, oh
this here we go. And despite how bad the Broncos played,
they were still leading in halftime, and I was I
was convinced after watching the Jets got just wave a
white flag before halftime. I mean, seriously, man, you don't
just hunk the ball to Aaron Glenn's rationale was bizarre,
like he could still just throw the ball down the

field when experience right, Like, I mean, you feel that
weird that what you're gonna do that don't want take
a sack or a fumble. You're that intimidated by the
Broncos defense. You talk about sending a message to your
team that we don't believe in you. Holy cow, I've
never seen anything like it. Nobody's ever seen anything like it. Well,

Garrett Wilson hadn't seen anything like it. The Rich eisand
and Kurt Warner, Nobody's ever seen anything like it.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Listen, everybody's a head coach the first time. And I
think the one thing that surprised you when you become
a head coach is how much more is involved than
you thought was possible. And Aaron Glenn right there. I
thought like the moment overwhelmed him and just got ahead
of it.

I mean, then they go for it, and this is
topping off. Hey, you go for it, you get it,
everybody knew you were going to go for it, and
you don't do anything after that. It was I mean,
it was beyond bizarre. But hey, those are New York
Jets problems. The problems the Broncos have seemed to be
with their offense. So what happens next? But that being said,

if you can get some turnover Skytt and it's a miracle.
This Broncos defense, which is amazing, hasn't had more turnovers.
But if you get some turnovers, you give them some
short fields, you know, likely you're gonna be okay.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
Well, two weeks in a row, you've kind of predicted
they'd get to, you know, win the turnover battle, and
you're right. The anomaly of this great defense is that
they have no turnovers. They get no turnovers.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
No takeaways.

Not really. I mean, and even with the team that's
got thirty sacks in six games doesn't have a sack fumble.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
By the way, what was hysterical too hysterical not funny,
but the Jets hadn't had any takeaways the whole year,
and there they are recovering a fumble on the third
play of the game.

Right, So I mean bow only passed the ball twice
in the third quarter, so coming down hard on Bow
like that's probably a little unfair. We have a final

bit of a hot streak. Uh So that line has

Defense knew that they had to be perfect because the
offense was so bad. The biggest question is coming out

is the defense is so good, if the offense can

That being said, because the defense is so good, and
I think I think that Champaytnon even said, well, we
knew this defense is what it was, Okay, good, but

as it now all a sudden make you as an
offensive play card a little more conservative because you know
your defense so good? And does that not put a
serious aren't you gonna have to win a game offensively
sometime during the season?
