And it was amazing. I was at an event yesterday,
a men's gathering where an empowerment session broke out right

in the middle of the gathering, right before lunch. God
just had a question, Hey, how do you work through
this when you're doing this and you're trying to do
this and somebody who says they're with you is just saying, oh,
that's a good idea, and I like that and stuff.
It sounds great for you, But I'm going to do this.
How do you lead somebody like that? And man, before

you knew it, people began to share and ask questions
and encourage and strengthen. And this brother got his life
and really truly we all got our life from the
work that he did in that session, just him being
willing to share his stuff. You know the things that

(02:36):
the world tells us to cover up? You know how
the world continues to tell you to do your best
to look good, do your best, to be right, do
your best to not be wrong, and definitely do your
best and not look bad. You know, those are the
four things that people are doing at any given moment

(02:57):
of time. And you know, that's the worldly way. That's
not the way of Christ. That's not kingdom operation. So
those of us who are citizens of the Kingdom of God,
we should be operating differently. And we don't mind sharing
the things that we're going through. And this brother did
not mind. And man, I am here to tell you, boy,

(03:23):
that was a that was a that was an event.
All of our lives were transformed, and that brother definitely
got his life and he got all the information that
he needed that day. But I think that brother don't
does not realize how much he blessed all of us.

(03:50):
I just think he'll never know, that brother, that brother
will never know how much he blessed us in that meeting,
just being willing to share his stuff and for all
of us to experience his transformation in real time. It

(04:10):
was just amazing. And those are the things that we
create every Sunday. So enjoy this podcast, and you will

understand that after this podcast, we are going to have
an empowerment session and people are going to share their stuff.

They are going to, like the woman with the issue
of blood, they are going to approach and get the
things that they need. People leave transformed and changed. Information
changes people. Wisdom from God changes people. And I watch
this wisdom from other people. Wisdom from the people of

God changes people. You see your life changed when your
action change. Your life changes when your actions change, Your
actions change, when your mind changes, and your mind changes
when you get information, the information, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding

that says, you know what, I've been doing this certain
thing a certain way. Based on the information that I've
just received. Today, I'm going to do something different because
I want different results. That is the goal of the
empowerment sessions. Boy or boy, we have a great time.
You'll want to join us. But today it's part two.

(05:38):
If you have your Bibles, you can turn to the
Book of the Revelation. Today is part two. Last podcast,
I shared with you this transformation that is awaiting all
of us, This transformation about having a new body that

(06:01):
once we have been called home to be with the Lord,
we will enter into heaven with a new body. The
body that you have right now will not be the
body that you will have for eternity. We read the

(06:21):
scripture of this says the the corruptible shall put on incorruptible,
the natural shall put on the supernatural. You'll have a
supernatural body. No more pain, no more crying, no more death.
That is what's waiting for us. Will have a resurrected
body that will be something that you can't even imagine.

(06:46):
And so all of the things that we go through
now we struggle within this body, including the sinful nature gone.
Now here's the second part of that promise. The promise
of a new body is also connected to the promise

(07:07):
of a new heaven and earth. Jesus said, when he
was on the cross, he said, behold or watch that
I make all things new. I make all things new.

(07:30):
So what you see right here, after he dies rises
again from the grave and its scends into heaven. He says,
I'm going to make all things new. The things that
you see here will not be the things that will be.
Everything is going to change, and we will have a
changed body. And according to the Book of the Revelation,

(07:55):
chapter twenty one, there will be a new heaven and
a new Earth. Now, this is what we have to
look forward to, especially as this season is upon us,
the election season where we're potentially voting for new leaders,
new positions and government. New authority will come, new legislation.

(08:17):
Hopefully we'll see some changes in the way America operates
throughout the world. Hopefully we'll see some changes in the
Middle East. As World War III seems to be upon us,
and without some real changes, there's going to be some
crazy things popping off overseas, and it can make you frustrated,
it can make you not want to be here. Suicidal

(08:41):
ideation is real. Mental health is real. That's why we
encourage people to make sure you better get your vacations.
That's one part of mental health. And then also, you know,
you take care of your mental health by taking care
of you know, whether you whether you need your meds,
your proper vitamins, minerals, you need your counseling, see as psychiatrist,

(09:01):
whatever you need to do to take care of your
mental health, you do that because as you look around
at the things that are happening today, it's enough to
drive you crazy if you let it. Yeah, and so
we take a look at the Book of the Revelation
h Chapter twenty one and twenty two is what I'm

(09:26):
going to read. I'll be reading from the New Living
Translation now, just for clarity's sake, so we're on the
same page together. The revelation that is being seen by
John through an angel is the revelation of Jesus Christ.

(09:50):
The things that Jesus saw that are going to shortly happen.
Jesus says, write this down, John, this is going to
be revealed to you. Write down what you see. And
thus we have the Book of the Revelation. So here

(10:14):
is John describing what he sees Revelation chapter twenty one.
Here we go the New Jerusalem. Then I saw a
new heaven and a new Earth for the old heaven.
The old earth had disappeared, just like your old body

(10:36):
will disappear, the old heaven and the old earth will disappear.
There'll be new, he said. And the sea was also gone.
And I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming
down from God out of heaven like a bride, beautifully adorned, arned,

(11:01):
beautifully dressed for her husband. I heard a loud shout
from the throne, saying, look, God's home is now among
his people. He will live with them, and they will
be his people. God himself will be with them. That

(11:22):
is where we get the turn in Manuel. God is
with us. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,
and there will be no more death or sorrow, or
crying or pain. All these things are gone forever. And
the one sitting on the throne said, look, I am

(11:45):
making everything new. Write this down, for what I tell
you is trustworthy and true. And he also said it
is finished. I am the alphabem, the old, the beginning,
and the end. To all who are thirsty. I will
give freely from the springs of the water of life.

(12:09):
And all who are victorious will inherit all these blessings,
and I will be their God, and they will be
my children. But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the imoral,
those who practice witchcraft, imal worshippers, add all liars. Their
fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This

(12:30):
is the second death. Then one of the seven angels
who held the seven bulls containing the seven last plagues
came and said to me, hey, come with me. I
will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.
So he took me in the spirit to a great
high mountain, and he showed me the Holy City, a

(12:53):
city so big you had to see it from above.
This is where we are going to live, rule and
reign with Jesus Christ. Listen to this description. He showed
me the Holy City Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.

(13:19):
It shone with the glory of God and sparkled like
a precious stone, like jasper, as clear as crystal. The
city wall was broad and high, with twelve gates guarded
by twelve angels. Now, what kind of traffic is going

(13:43):
to be flowing in and out of the City of
God to where it has to have twelve gates? And
what kind of man you're talking about border security? What
kind of border security is twelve angels, one garden each gate.

(14:06):
Nobody is getting in there, who is not welcome in there,
who is not a citizen of that city. I mean,
I'm just saying, you ain't getting past an angel. Okay,
it's just not happening. You can just cancel it and
forget about it. Bro, It's not gonna be a good
day for you. The city wall was broad and high,

(14:27):
with twelve gates guarded by twelve angels, and the names
of the twelve tribes of Israel were written on the gates.
I don't know. They probably want to know. They want
anybody to know who lives there. Twelve gates, twelve names,
twelve tribes. This is something for you chew on. So

(14:47):
here we go, And there were three gates on each side, east, north, south,
and west. The wall of the city had twelve foundations stones.
Come on your architects. I hope you tracking with us.
I hope you're visualizing this in your mind. And on
them we're written the names of the twelve apostles of

(15:11):
the Lamb. The angel who talked to me held in
his hand a gold measuring stick to measure the city.
All right now, we're about to get into some details.
So you see some things with your mind and your eyes.
You see jewelry, you see gold, you see gates and
all this kind of stuff. Right now, we're talking about

(15:31):
measurements here, he says, the measuring stick to measure the city,
its gates, and its wall. When he measured it, he
found it was a square. The city was a square,
a cube, a square. Here we go, watch this as
wide as it was long. In fact, it's length and

(15:53):
width and height were fourteen hundred miles. Okay, here we go.
We got to stop. We got to stop because just
it's hard enough for you to imagine what it's going
to be like to have a supernatural body, an incorruptible body,

(16:18):
one that does not grow old, doesn't feel pain, doesn't
have arthritis, birth side as, rheumatitis, an the otheris is
got none of that stuff going on. It takes time
to think about that. But now we have a city
that is surrounded by wall. It has come down from heaven,

(16:45):
It has superimposed itself on top of Jerusalem. It is
fourteen hundred miles long, fourteen hundred miles wide, and fourteen
hundred miles high. Anybody know just how far fourteen hundred

(17:13):
miles is. So if we're going seventy miles per hour,
how many hours will it take us to drive fourteen
hundred miles? You mathematicians, you do the math. That's what

(17:38):
the number is. So you think about that. Okay, now
that's just going from one end to the other. How
about if we wanted to go to the top floor.
You got to get this in your mind. Now, the
fourteen hundred miles up? Is it? What's the tallest skyscraper

(18:08):
on the planet. Right now, I'm gonna just let you
know it's not fourteen hundred miles tall. M h that's
not happening. That is not on this planet. Skyscraper fourteen
hundred miles tall. So this, this city, New Jerusalem, is

(18:30):
fourteen hundred miles up, fourteen hundred miles wide, and fourteen
hundred miles long. It's a square. You got it? I hope,
I hope you got it. It's gonna take some getting
around in order to get around in that place. I'm
thinking it's just just gonna be some really really amazing

(18:51):
elevator systems. No, brother, since I can promise you we
won't need elevators, I think we'll just be there. If
I want to be on the fourteenth floor, I think
I'll just be there. We won't have the limitations that
we had in a human body. I think. If I
want to be on the twelve hundredth floor, I think,

(19:15):
and I'll be there. Hmm, yeah, here we go. Then
he measured the walls and found them to be two
hundred and sixteen feet thick. Okay, do I need to
spend much time on that. The walls around the building

(19:38):
are two hundred and sixteen feet thick. Yeah, hey, thank you.
Brother down there watching the Super Bowl rerun or something.
He cheering fourteen. I don't understand what is going on
with him. He's probably cheering about this city that he's
reading about with us. Okay. Verse eighteen, Revelation, Chapter twenty one.

(20:07):
The wall was made of jasper, and the city was
pure gold, as clear as glass. So the wall made
of jasper, and the city is pure gold. The streets
are made of pure gold, as clear as glass, so
you can see through the streets. It's crazy. What's happening here?

(20:30):
Y'all seeing this? I hope y'all seeing this. Verse nineteen.
The wall of the city was built on foundation stones
inlaid with twelve precious stones. The stones are in the walls.
The first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third a gate,
the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth Carnellian, the

seventh chrysolite, the eighth barrel, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysipraise,
the eleventh just sinth, the twelfth amethyst. I ain't never
even heard of some of these emeralds. Adrian like jewel jewelry.
You heard of some of this stuff. You know what
a chrisip praise is? I don't know that one. Yeah,
And I've heard of Agat and barrel and Carnelian, have

(21:19):
not heard of that one. This is some fascinating stuff here, y'all.
Just now, you're doing some decorating here, all right. And
I understand your house is nice, and you know, Adrian's
about to get read do some painting and stuff. And
we're gonna do some decorating and home improving up in
this beach too. But brother, we got nothing on this
this brother, put you we we about to put some

(21:39):
paint on the walls, Jesus putting jewels in the walls.
Just the stuff you ain't never even heard of. Mm
hmm mmmm. Here we go, Verse twenty one. The twelve
gates were made of pearls, Each gate from a single pearl. Okay, now,

(22:02):
y'all need to stop it. Stop it. Somebody just showing off. Now,
somebody's showing off right here. Now. Now, I know what
a pearl is. Uh, They're not really that big. Some
of them can be bigger than others. But a pearl
is not usually much bigger than the fingertip. Okay, now,

(22:29):
these gates are for people to go in and out. Correct. Okay, yeah,
I just wanna make sure I'm doing his math right.
And there's twelve of the gates, three on each side, east, north, west,
and south. Three gates times four, that's twelve gates. Now
he's saying, the gates are made of pearl. Now, each
one of the gates is made of one pearl. Uh.

(22:56):
Where you where you get a pearl big enough to
make a gate out of it? Where you get a
pearl big enough to carve and opening so that people
can go through it. That's what's happening here. Roll with me, now,

(23:18):
come on, get your imagination fired up. This is what's happening. Listen.
This is Jesus speaking. He's saying these things, and he's
describing this city, New Jerusalem to us. And he's saying, listen,
this is coming from me. I am faithful and true,
I am the Word of God. So you can trust

(23:39):
that the things that he's describing here are true and
are going to happen. He even brought out the measuring stick.
Were getting down to the details. Brother, we ain't making
this up. All right, verse let's do verse twenty one again.
The twelve gates were made of pearls, each gate from

(24:00):
a single pearl, and the main street was pure gold,
as clear as glass. That's crazy. I saw no temple
in the city, for the Lord, God Almighty and the
Lamb are its temple. Ain't no church. We are in God,

(24:21):
in Christ in the city. It is in Him. He
is in it. It is Him, and he is it.
No need for a church. The whole thing is God
and is the Church, and is Us, and it's Him
and is the city. That's right. And the city had
no need of sun or moon, for the glory of

(24:42):
God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light.
He said, this thing came down from Heaven shining, and
so the light is God and the lamb, they are
the light of the city. Wow. Verse twenty four. The

(25:03):
nations will walk in its light, and the kings of
the world were into the city in all their glory.
Its gates will never be closed at the end of
the day because there is no night. There there is
no end of the day, So the still ain't closing.
You gotta worry about trying to hurry up and see

(25:23):
what time it is, so you can run the Kroger
and make you a run versus. It's never gonna close.
The gates are never gonna close. There's gonna never gonna
be an end of the day. Now, the gates are
gonna be guarded by angels and they some bad dudes,
and you ain't getting in there. Listen, you are a citizen,

(25:45):
he says. But it's not closing. M Nope. Verse twenty six.
And all the nations will bring their glory and honor
into the city. Nothing evil will be allowed to enter,
nor anyone who practiced shameful idolatry and dishonesty, But only
those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
You know what that describes, my friend. It says that

(26:08):
you are safe as a citizen of the Kingdom of heaven,
those who have said yes to Jesus Christ. You are his,
He is yours. You are a citizen of His kingdom,
and you are safe. I need you to sit with

(26:35):
that for a second, and all of the things that
you struggle with today, all of the burdens that ail you,
and the things of the world, the pressures of the world,
start to bouncing on you, and you're just feel it
heavier every day. Listen, sometimes you need to sit back
and say to yourself, I am safe. I am safe

(26:57):
in his arms in I am safe because he is
there and I am there, and he's with me, and
I'm with him. Therefore I am safe. Nothing will be
in the city that can harm me, he says. All
of the liars and adulterers and all these other kind
of wicked people, they're gonna be outside outside the city.

(27:17):
They will not be allowed in. Angels. Remember twelve of them.
You remember that part at the gate. And I can
promise you. I can promise you nobody is getting past
an angel. You're just not doing it. Bro, It's not
gonna be your day. If you're practicing to throw down
with an angel, there's not gonna end well for you.

(27:40):
Those in the city are safe. Here we go rapidly.
We'll read verse twenty two. Here we go. I'm sorry,
we'll read chapter twenty two. Keep up with me. Verse one.
Then the angel showed me a river with the water
of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of
God and of the Lamb. It flowed down the center

(28:02):
of the main street on each side of the river
grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit,
with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used
for medicine to heal the nations. No longer will there
be a curse upon anything, for the throne of God

(28:24):
and of the Lamb will be there, and his servants
will worship him, and they will see his face, and
his name will be written on their foreheads. One tattoo.
That's all you get. You get one, and it's going
to be his name. And there will be no night,

(28:46):
there no need for lamps or sun, for the Lord
God will shine on them and they will rain forever
and ever. And the Angel said to me, everything you've
heard and seen is trustworthy and true. The Lord God,
who inspires his prophet, has sent his angel to tell
his servants what will happen soon. And it won't be
a long time. This is going to happen soon. Now
here are the red words that mean Jesus is speaking.

(29:08):
Here comes Jesus, he says, quote verse seven, Look, I'm
coming soon. Blessed are those who obey the words of
prophecy written in this book. That's what Jesus says. Verse eight.
I John am the one who heard and saw these things.
And when I heard and saw them, I fell down
to worship at the feet of the angel who showed
them to me. But he said, no, don't worship me.

(29:31):
He said, get up, boy, what's wrong with you? Get up,
Get up and stop that. He said, I'm a servant
of God, just like you and brothers, the prophets, as
well as all who obey what is written in this book.
Worship only God. Please get up. Then he instructed me,
don't seal up the prophetic words in his book, for
the time is near. Let the one who is doing
harm continue to do harm. Let the one who is

(29:53):
vile continue to be vile. Let the one who is
righteous continue to live righteously. Let the one who is
holy continue to be holy. In other words, who you are,
who you will be. No more time for changing. Everything's
wrapping up. Verse twelve, Jesus speaking again. Look, I'm coming
soon and bringing my reward with me to repay all
people according to their deeds, according to their deeds, according

(30:17):
to their works. You had to hear that. He says,
I'm going to repay all people according to their works.
Works are important. Salvation is not dependent upon works. But
he says he's bringing a reward with them, and that
reward is dependent upon the works. There's a distinction there
that's very important. Here we go verse twelve, and look,

(30:39):
I'm coming soon, bringing my ward. Look I'm coming soon,
bringing my reward with me to repay all people according
to their deeds. I am the Alpha and the Mega,
the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
Verse fourteen. Blessed are those who washed their robes. They
would be permitted to enter through the gates of the
city and eat the fruit from the tree of life.
Outside the city, the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral,

(31:03):
They on the outside. They don't get to come in.
No day. Out there somewhere, the sexually immoral, the murderers,
the idle worshippers, and all who love to live a lie.
They on the outside of the city. They're not coming.
In Verse sixteen, I Jesus have sent my angels to

(31:26):
you this message. I sent my angels to give you
this message for the churches. I am both the source
of David, the seat of David, and the heir to
his throne. I am the bright morning Star, the Spirit
and the bride. Say come, Let anyone who hears this say, come,
Let anyone who is thirsty, come, Let anyone who desires

(31:46):
drink freely from the water of life. And I solemnly
declare to everyone who hears the words of prophecy written
in this book, if anyone adds anything to what is
written here, God will add to that person the plagues
described in this book. And if anyone removes any of
the words from this book of Prophecy, God will remove
that person's share in the Tree of life. And then
the holy city that are described in his book. He

(32:08):
who is faithful, he who is the faithful witness to
all these things, says, yes, I am coming soon. There
will be no delays. This is happening, and it's gonna
happen soon. And then he says, Amen, Come, Lord Jesus.
May the grace and the Lord Jesus be with God's
Holy people. Grace and peace be upon you, all of

(32:32):
you who have heard the word today. This is what
you have to look forward to. This is the new
city built especially for you, who will have a new body,
new citizenship, a new destiny, where we will know and
be known. God will be with us, will be with him.

(32:55):
Nobody will be in that city who can do us harm.
We will be safe, will be with Jesus, and there
will be a time of celebration that we cannot imagine.

(33:22):
Time will be no more. Man, you're talking about a vacation, Burro.
It's like there's no night and day, so there's nothing
to keep track of other than the next wonder that

(33:44):
you're going to learn about, or discover or see or
be introduced to. He says, nobody will be in that
city who can do you harm. You'll be safe and behold,
this is going to happen quickly. This should be the

(34:06):
thought of your mind every day as you go out
into the world and do the things that you need
to do, bear the weight of the world that you
need to bear, and as you're trudging through your schedule,
your routines, and your encounters. Somewhere in the back of

(34:33):
your mind there ought to be a voice that says constantly,
Jesus is coming soon, and he's bringing his reward with him.
It won't always be like this, for the day is

(34:55):
coming soon and it's going to happen quickly. That will
be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye.
We will be like him, and we will rule and
reign with him. There will be a new heaven and
new earth. The City of God will come down from

(35:18):
heaven on the earth fourteen hundred miles square. Man who
comfort yourself with these words, do what you gotta do

(35:39):
day by day. Share this gospel. Invite as many people
as you can to these environment sessions and to this podcast.
Please share this with somebody. People need to know the
good news, especially people that you know who have been
harmed and been through some things, got trauma in their lives.
They're probably doing the work already. I hope they're doing
the work, getting their counseling, whatever, getting whatever to do.

(36:01):
I want to take care the mentals to recover PTSD.
I know about that. Listen, these things are comforting. This
is information that needs to be shared. People need to
know about this, that this is our reward. It's waiting
for us, the new city, the new citizenship, the place

where we will be with God. He will be with
us and we will be safe. It's time for the

norms that are just banging banging at the door of

that life. This is a pulling together of personal stories,
things that I have lived through and how I went
from where I was living on the streets of Detroit,
and how I survived the streets of Detroit and created
