Empowerment Sessions are where believers get the opportunity to make the necessary corrections, adjustments and spiritual enhancements needed to be better equipped to live more powerful lives for Christ. Acts 1:8

Empowerment sessions offer the opportunity for one-on-one coaching, discipleship and self-improvement, in a confidential but very transparent group setting. You are just a few clicks away from your empowerment. You need to join us soon. When you begin to operate with power in EVERY area of your life, then you have achieved Powerful Living. Join your host, Henry Flowers, as we discover principles that produce the "rich and satisfying life" that Jesus said that He wants for us. Let's also make strides in the area of teen pregnancy prevention.

My book will help your teens avoid the dangers of excessive unsupervised idle time, which is the major cause of trouble for too many of our teens; and it will help them to move from where they are to living the life that they love. Speaker 1 (00:04):
Psalm chapter nine. I will praise you, O Lord, with
all my heart. I will tell of all your wonders.
I will be glad and rejoice in you. I will
sing praise to your name, Oh Most High. My enemies

(00:30):
turn back, they stumble and perish before you, For you
have upheld my right and my cause. You have sat
on your throne, judging righteously. You have rebuked the nations
and destroyed the wicked. You have blotted out their name.

(00:51):
Forever and ever, endless ruin has overtaken the enemy. You
have uprooted their cities. Even the memory of them has perished.
The Lord reigns forever. He has established his throne for judgment.
He will judge the world in righteousness. He will govern

(01:14):
the peoples with justice. The Lord is a refuge for
the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who
know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord,
have never forsaken those who seek you. Saint praises to

(01:38):
the Lord enthroned in Zion, proclaim among the nations what
he has done. For he who avenges blood remembers, he
does not ignore the cry of the afflicted. O Lord,
See how my enemies persecute me, they have mercy and

(02:00):
lift me up from the gates of death, that I
may declare your praises in the gates of the Daughter
of Zion, and there rejoice in your salvation. The nations
have fallen into the pit that they have dug. Their
feet are caught in the net they have hidden. The

(02:26):
Lord is known by his justice, and the wicked are
ensnared by the work of their hands. The wicked returned
to the grave. All the nations that forget God, all
the nations that forkid God. But the needy will not
always be forgotten, nor the hope of the afflicted ever perish. Arise,

(02:50):
O Lord, let not man triumph. Let the nations be
judged in your presence. Strike them with terror, O Lord,
and let the nations know they are but men, say lah,

(03:11):
Psalm chapter ten, Why, oh Lord, do you stand far off?
Why do you hide yourself in time of trouble? In
his arrogance, though wicked man hunts down the weak, who
are caught in the schemes he devises. He boasts of

(03:31):
the cravings of his heart. He blesses the greedy, and
reviles the Lord. In his pride. The wicked does not
seek him in all his thoughts. There is no room
for God. His ways are always prosperous. He is haughty,
and your laws are far from him. He sneers at

(03:54):
all his enemies. He says to himself, nothing will shake me.
I'll always be happy and never have trouble. I'll always
be happy and never have trouble. His mouth that's full
of curses and lies and threats. Trouble and evil are
under his tongue. He lies in wait near the villages

(04:18):
for from ambush. He murders the innocent, watching in secret
for his victims. He lies in wait like a lion
in cover. He lies in wait to catch the hapless.
He catches the helpless and drags them off in his neck.

(04:42):
His victims are crushed. They collapse, They fall under his strength.
He says to himself, God has forgotten. He covers his
face and never sees arise. Lord, Lift up your hand,
O God, do not forget the helpless. Why does the

(05:07):
wicked man revile God? Why does he say to himself,
he won't call me to account. But you, oh God,
do see trouble and grief. You consider it to take
it in hand. The victim commits himself to you. You

(05:29):
are the helper of the fatherless. Break the arm of
the wicked and evil man, call him to account for
his wickedness that would not be found out. The Lord
is king, for ever and ever the nations will perish
from his land. You hear, o, Lord, the desire of

(05:53):
the wicked. You hear, o, Lord, the desire of the afflicted.
You encourage them, and you listen to their cry, defending
the fatherless and the oppressed, in order that man who
is of the earth may terrify no more Psalm chapter eleven.

(06:23):
In the Lord, I take refuge, How then can you
say to me, flee like a bird to your mountain.
For look, the wicked bend their bows. They set their
arrows against the strings, to shoot from the shadows at
the upright and heart. When the foundations are being destroyed,

(06:44):
What can the righteous do? The Lord is his holy temple.
The Lord is on his heavenly throne. He observes the
sons of men. His eyes examine them. The Lord examines
the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence.

(07:05):
His soul hates in the wicked. He will rain fiery
coals and burning sulfur. A scorching wind will be their lot.
On the wicked, he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur.
A scorching wind will be their lot. For the Lord

(07:29):
is righteous, he loves justice, and upright men will see
his face. Psalm chapter twelve. Help Lord, for the godly
are no more. The faith will have vanished from among men,

(07:55):
and everyone lies to his neighbor flattering with lips, speak
with deception. Everyone lies to his neighbor their flattering lips
speak with deception. May the Lord cut off all flattering
lips in every boastful tongue that says, we will triumph

(08:15):
with our tongues, We on our lips. Who is our master?
Because of the oppression of the weak and the groaning
of the needy, I will now arise, says the Lord.
I will protect them from those who malign them. And

(08:39):
the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver refined
in a furnace of clay, purified seven times, O Lord,
you will keep us safe and protect us from such people.
Forever cod freely strut about when what is vile is

(09:05):
honored among men Psalm chapter thirteen. How long, O Lord,
will you forget me forever? How long will you hide
your face from me? How long must I wrestle with
my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart?

(09:27):
How long will my enemy triumph over me? Look on
me in answer? O, Lord, my God, give light to
my eyes, or I will sleep in death. My enemies
will say I have overcome him, and my foals will
rejoice when I fall. But I trust in your unfailing love.

(09:53):
My heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to
the Lord, for he has been good to me, and
we finished today our scripture reading from Psalm twenty three.

(10:17):
Psalm twenty three. The Lord is my shepherd. I shall
not be in want. He makes me lye down in
green pastures. He leads me besides quiet waters. He restores
my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for

(10:39):
his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death. Now I will fear no evil,
for you are with me. Your rod and your staff
they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in

(11:00):
the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil.
My cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life, and I will dwell
in the House of the Lord.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Forever. Hello Frem, Thank you so much for being with
us in this podcast over the airwaves of YouTube or
wherever you find your podcasts. Thank you so much for
being apart. Make sure to subscribe, turn on notifications, and

five six one six Wolfpen, Pleasant Hill World in Milford, Ohio.
We will be in the upper room at General Dentistry.

(12:07):
Ten thirty am on Sunday mornings is when we gather together.
We have an empowerment session immediately after the broadcast. This
is where the true powerful living is put into practice.
If you want to come together and work on something
with me one on one coaching in a group setting,

(12:31):
then you want to be a part of the empowerment sessions.
I cannot tell you how many testimonies and how much
transformation has occurred as a result of these empowerment sessions.
You want to be here, the church being the church,
people coming in with their stuff, working on it with

(12:52):
me using biblical principles and getting real transformation in real
time so that we ourselves can be empowered, then we
can be able to go and empower others. My friend,
that is what powerful living is. So you definitely want
to join us in the Empowerment sessions in person, and

(13:12):
also you can join us live via zoom and the
zoom information is in the description box. Join us ten
thirty am every Sunday, Eastern Stattered Time. Look forward to
seeing you there. Many of you have been asking how
you can give and support Powerful Living ministries. I have

(13:36):
a few options for you. I often go and speak
to our young people who are just living in desperate times.
Not really sure if I would want to be a
young person living in these times with these societal norms
that are.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
Just banging banging.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
At the door of their moral houses and they need help.
So the help that I deliver one I go and
speak to these young people are through powerful testimonial speeches,
motivational speeches, whatever you want to call it, but biblical
principles and same things I deliver in the Empowerment sessions
and in the podcast is what I deliver when I
speak to colleges and high schools. Now, I often go

(14:17):
and speak about what I wrote in my book, which
is titled Bored to Death Five Steps to gear Up
and be about that life. This is a pulling together
of personal stories, things that I have lived through and
how I went from where I was living on the
streets of Detroit and how I survived the streets of

(14:40):
Detroit and created a life that I love. When I
had all of the obstacles in my way, I had
the perfect recipe to become a statistic How did I overcome?
What did I do well? Those questions are answered in
my book Bored to Death and Five Easy Steps. I

(15:01):
share these steps with young people and I get transformation,
and I see transformation. Their lives are empowered on a
daily basis. This is powerful living in action when I
go and speak to these young people. Now, how you
can come alongside is a couple of ways. You can
obviously give directly to this ministry. If you want to
reach out to us Powerful Living twenty twenty two at

(15:25):
gmail dot com. You can reach out to us directly
and just say, hey, Henry, how can I support your
ministry financially? Also, you can text us or call, but
likely a text would be better at five one, three, four, zero, four, seven,
seven nine three. Leave us a message and just tell

(15:46):
us I'd like to be involved financially. How can I
support your ministry and we'll give back to you there
as well. Also, you can contact us about purchasing copies
of my boot so that when I go and speak
to the young people in high school. Sometimes I'll do
middle schools, but most of the time it's high school
and college and those who are usually financially constrained and

(16:10):
don't have the opportunity to purchase my book. If you
purchase my book, every book that you purchase will be
an opportunity for me to put another one copy of
my books in the hands of our young people, and
so they can take home the message that I deliver
in person, and they can be empowered and study and

(16:30):
see what I did to create a life that I love,
and therefore they'll be able to see themselves doing it
as well. That's powerful living, and my friend, that is
powerful giving. And I hope you will take us up
on that opportunity. If you have feedback and you'd like

(16:50):
to suggest a shell topic content ideas, if you have questions,
if I said something that you don't agree with. Whatever
it is, whatever kind of feedback that you'd like to give,
bring it. You can email us Powerful Living twenty twenty
two at gmail dot com. You can call us at

(17:12):
five point three or as the Report seven seventy ninety three.
However you get your information to us, just understand I
will respond to you directly. I am open questions, concerns,
show ideas, topics, anything you have in reference to feedback.

(17:32):
You let me know, and especially tell us how this
ministry has powerfully impacted your life, and I will likely
share that on a live broadcast. Thank you so much
for being a part of this ministry. I can't wait
to see these empowerment sessions pop up all over the country,

(17:53):
all over the world, and all over the lives of people.
Powerful Living is there for you and me. Thank you,
my friends, God bless you.
