Although it hasn't received national attention, the investigation into the death of Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs has taken a tragic turn. The 27-year-old was determined to have overdosed on drugs and alcohol. Now, a team employee has admitted to providing Skaggs with drugs, and even taking them with the pitcher. So how does this all happen and what can prevent the next tragic story? Christian Heimall dives into that this week on Press Row.

Joining him on the show is Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times who has covered the Angels for the better part of two decades. DiGiovanna gives the latest update on the investigation, including what processes the Skaggs' family take against the Angels. He also discusses what Major League Baseball should do in response to the investigation and answers the question: How did nobody know what was going on?

Christian also answers your listener questions! Don't forget to join the show by following us on social media (@PressRowPHM) or by emailing us at PressRowPHM@gmail.com. You can also subscribe on Spotify, Apple & Google Podcasts, and www.publichousemedia.org!
