Through a series of 20-minute phone calls, incarcerated individuals open up to me about their childhoods, the events that led to their convictions, and what daily life is really like inside the system. I’m Mike, the host and producer of Prison Audio: Voices From Behind Bars. On this podcast, I don’t try to prove anyone’s guilt or innocence. I’m not here to make a case either way — I’m here to share the stories of people who are incarcerated, in their own words.

Lamar is currently incarcerated in Canada, serving a life sentence for the death of Kenneth Mark, who was gunned down in Toronto's west end in 2009. Prosecutors believe that Mark's death was the result of him cooperating with the police against Lamar in another case.
