Speaker 5 (01:49):
Thank you. We are so glad to have you for
this interview.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Thank you for being here. Absolutely, and like I said before,
in sub is a real crazy product and concept. We
never saw anything like this in the past. All have
you thinking about this project? Did you expect these success
(02:14):
at the start?
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Honestly, I didn't. It was supposed to be one time.
It was supposed to be one video and it went
viral online and then everybody was like, where's the match? Okay,
and then we did a match. I was like, how
are we going to do a match? On a subway,
like how but we did it and then that went viral.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
And then I started coming out with more.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Ideas for Subway Rumble, and then I came out with.
Speaker 4 (02:46):
Subway Mania because first it was Subway.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Slam, so I did Subway Slam and Subway Rumble, and
then I was like, Okay, WrestleMania is in April, let
me do a Subway Mania. And then the name just
stuck body with Subway Okay, Sonia one, two, three. So
we just kept doing so many videos and uh yeah,
(03:08):
I thought it was only going to be Okay, this
will be my last one, the next one will be
my last one. And then here I am almost ten
years later and working with now legends, the Hardy Boys,
working with TNA.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
So it's really it's really cool.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
And during about that, during the last couple of years,
we saw many stars of the business make their debut
on the Subway Mania and you mentioned before they are
this is the TNA president, Carlos Silva, And do you
think it's Subway Mania? Could assembled defense over the brands?
Speaker 4 (03:52):
Yeah? Yeah, I felt like, what what was the question
you said? If we if.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
About about of the defense all over the brands? No
war between the fans of A W T N A,
A real a real group of fans crazy for the.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
The United United.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely. Like when I do the Subway Manias,
the fans come and they bring so many different T shirts.
You got w W A, w T N A, you know,
w C W and w O whatever.
Speaker 5 (04:36):
You know.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
I think for that moment, everybody is together and united,
like you said, and yeah, everybody just has fun.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
In the You've played many different wrestlers over time. Who
is your favorite so far and who is the most
success successful according to the fans bolting the subway and
the online.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
I think, honestly, I think the most fun is Hollywood
Hogan because there I could talk crap, you.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
Know, I could, I could be a bad guy.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
But also playing Brett Hart is cool because everybody loves.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
I want to mention that Brett.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
Yeah, everybody loves Bart.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
And then Jay Uso was fun too, everybody loves jus.
I did Eddie Guerrero and then I had the low
ride of the car and with the hydraulics speech, so
that was cool.
Speaker 4 (05:45):
I honestly have fun with Sting. Sting is also another one.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
I have fun doing all of them.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Do you have any plans for the future of.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
I definitely want to do more.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
The next Remember SummerSlam is next week, so a lot
of w W wrestlers are going to be in town
here in New York City, A lot of other wrestlers
are going to be here, so let's see. Man, I'm
trying to collaborate with as many people as I can,
so you never know who might show up as away media.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
But probably my My question is crazy, but there is
a chance to see a real wrestling show inside away.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
For like w W.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
NO, but like g c W for example, a little
a little company, little in the company for Subway Mania.
I don't know gc W presents a Subway Mania.
Speaker 4 (06:52):
Yeah, I mean I don't.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
I think, I mean, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Let's see, I feel like I yeah, I don't, No,
let's see.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
You never know what I mean. I didn't. I didn't.
I didn't know.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
I didn't know.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
The Hardy Boys were going to come to the Subway Mania.
So that was last minute. They just say, hey, the
Hardies are here. You want to do a video with
the Hardies? And I was like, oh, sure, yeah, I'll
do it. Yeah yeah, So I was like kind to
get everything together and that happened. So everything happened so quick.
So yeah, things happened quick, so I just got to
(07:27):
be prepared.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
It was the same with the Carlos Silva, the president of.
Speaker 4 (07:31):
Yeah, that Carlos Silva.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
That was like on the spot you know again like
TNA was promoting tna' slammiversary yea, because they was going
to be here in New York. So the first one
was with madd and Jeff Hardy and that went crazy.
Then they were like, hey, Carlos Silva wants to be
part of Subway Mania.
Speaker 4 (07:53):
So I was like, okay, let's do it. And then the.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
Next week was hey, Mike Santana, you guys want to
have Mike Santana part of Subway And I was like sure,
Mike Santana, that's like one of my he's a he's
a he's a homie.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
That's my homie.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Yeah, he's from from the Bronx.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Yeah, so my new mic for a few years now,
since the beginning, like you know, he was at House
of Glory for a few years now, so but yeah,
so it was kind of cool like having him part
of Subway media in that way, and yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Have you Watchediversary, I was there, Okay, okay.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
Unfortunately you know Santanas, but I'm hoping he gets another
title shot, you know, glory, Yeah exactly.
Speaker 5 (08:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Yeah. And about the Return of Justice, what do you
think about that?
Speaker 4 (08:47):
That was phenomenal? That was phenomenal?
Speaker 1 (08:51):
I was, yeah, right, I was. I was excited for that.
I heard the music and I was like, what so
that was cool? Here in the get Ready to Fly
hearing that live was awesome. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
I cried too much about that.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
Yeah, right, that was that one was was was that
one was cool? DNA Matteo.
Speaker 5 (09:17):
Okay, so Tim, I want to ask you something about
the permission. Do you ask permission to to have something
like you did in the in the subway I don't know,
like to the municipalities or other things.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (09:36):
So so what we.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
Do is, you know, we pay for our subway ticket,
you know, to take a Metro card, and yeah, we
just go on the train and do our show.
Speaker 4 (09:55):
You know, That's how it is in New York.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
I mean, once you pay for your fare, you pay
for your you know, swipe your metro card.
Speaker 4 (10:03):
It's pretty much. Uh, you know, New York City is the.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
Concrete jungle and a lot of stuff happens here and
you have you have you guys been to New York
City before?
Speaker 2 (10:17):
Yeah, weekend in Yeah, I've been in the.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Last Yeah, so it's ah, the subway system is crazy.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
So the subway mania pretty much is I would say
at least the.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
Most entertaining because there's a lot of other things that
happen in the subway. So so yeah, we you know,
we get we get love. You know a lot of
people like from the MTA, the train station, the people
that work there, they show love. The police show us love. Yeah, exactly,
we have the support. Yeah, we definitely get support.
Speaker 5 (10:59):
Okay, I musk you this because in Italy we have
something like you do. But we have a guy that
is called metro men or subway men, and it's like
a singer and he is singing a lot of a
(11:23):
lot of songs in the subway.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
But every time people call the police and bring him
out because sometime there are drunk singers making like a
drunk too much, very complicated, so.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
That's crazy, and they get they get arrested.
Speaker 5 (11:50):
Not arrested. But you know, as you said, the yeah,
the police support ye. So yeah, so don't don't disturb
the other people and you you could sing without problems.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
Here, I feel like there's so many things going on,
Like subway Mania is, it's.
Speaker 4 (12:13):
Small compared to what what else goes on.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
There's people selling candy, there's people dancing, there's people singing,
there's people there's so many things happening.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
So you know, when we come through.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
The Subway Mania, I feel like everybody enjoys it and
it's a good entertaining show.
Speaker 5 (12:30):
You know, did you ever think about shows? Maybe two shows?
One in the one the one way to the I
don't know, the subway in the same time to the
other side.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
Uh, you know, it's funny, my friend, they've been saying, oh,
let's do two shows, but I'm like, bro.
Speaker 4 (12:55):
Two shows and and one day that's.
Speaker 5 (13:00):
And in the same time, in the same time, and
people could choose one of one or the other shows.
Speaker 4 (13:07):
Like Raw and SmackDown. You want to you want to
go to smack Down. That's actually a good idea. That's
actually a good.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
Idea, say and Subway down. Yeah could.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Right?
Speaker 5 (13:28):
And did you ever think about maybe a championship?
Speaker 1 (13:32):
So we actually do have a subway champions We have
two we have the Subway Mania World Champion, we have
one created and then it was cool. But my buddy
Snaps and Straps. He was like, listen, let me create
a new title for you guys. Uh, and it's actually
(13:55):
one of the coolest looking belts. He designed it Snaps
and st Apps, and yeah, it's crazy. And then he
actually designed another one. So this one is called the
Inflation Championship. So with all the inflation that's going.
Speaker 4 (14:09):
On around the world, yeah, well around the world.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
So it was like, you know what I said, you
should call this the Inflation Championship.
Speaker 4 (14:17):
And yeah, that one is really cool too.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
The one with Penta, the last one of the last
Sway Mania as we released with Penta and Drew McIntire.
Speaker 4 (14:26):
That album was for the Inflation Championship.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
And then the one that I'm Jay Husso that one
is for the World Champion Sway Media Championship.
Speaker 5 (14:37):
Okay, and I'll do if you I don't know if
you have the other questions or I can.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Go with Yeah, one other about who is it the
most particular and crazy star that you see you share
the way? Wait, yeah, that I want to work.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
Uh well, we already got the hardy like that one
was unexpected, but I wanted.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
I want like three years ago.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
I remember I was trying to get the Hardy Boys,
but I guess I had to wait three years. And
you know now in that like out of know where
it happened.
Speaker 4 (15:22):
But I would say Triple H will be cool, Brett
Hart will be cool.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
The Rock Undertaker, ju Ju. So I don't know Cody Rhoads,
Roman Reigns. I mean honestly, I mean, you never know, man,
next week, they're all going to be here in New York,
so I never know who my show was.
Speaker 5 (15:46):
I think I think maybe the best wrestlers could interact
with you and Subway Mania could be the Street profits.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
Mm hmmm, that'll be cool. Yeah, that would be really.
Speaker 5 (16:01):
Cool actually because for their gimmick could be very very
peculiar and very very good.
Speaker 4 (16:10):
Yeah, straight off the co Mantez is his cool.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Man. Never know, you never know what could happen.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
Never know, man, next week I'm hoping I get somebody, so, like,
you know, it's very cool, you know.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
Yeah. I have one last question, but this time not
only about Subwaymen, about in general about wrestling. What is
your main memories about Hollywood do Coogan? Because I think
(16:54):
he was a legend for this business. He changed the
business you his time in in w CW, most importantly
Better at the Beach nineteen ninety six with his tour
and the nWo. So what is your biggest memory about
him and if in your opinion, if he helped then
(17:19):
the change this business.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
Well, yeah, I would say I think, like one of
my favorite because I was a kid, you know, watching
w CW, and then when the nWo finally came to WWF,
I think one of my favorite matches during that time
was Hollywood Hogan and the Rock WrestleMania that ONUE was
(17:46):
really cool. Hogan definitely, you know, without a doubt. I
mean like he was one of the wrestlers that changed
the business and made it what it was today. And
I'm sure there's you know, many more too, but you know,
hok Hogan was he was how do you say this,
(18:07):
like popular in the eighties the nineties. You know, he
was part of pop culture. So you know, whether you know,
everybody has their their own opinions about Hogan, you know,
whether you like him, whether you dislike him, you know,
and everybody has the right to have that opinion towards Hogan.
Speaker 4 (18:27):
But.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
He definitely made wrestling what it is today, you know,
and you know, a lot of us could agree on that,
you know what I mean. And there's other legends too,
you know, but I feel like Cogan was definitely one
of the main ones.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
Absolutely true. Yeah, team, thank you, Thank you very much
for being with us, for being a part of progress going.
We wish you the best that most importantly in I
I will be there in New York City. I don't
know if next year on or in the last weeks
(19:07):
of this year, but I will be there and I
want to meet you in person there.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
It might be doing a Subway Mania, so yeah, you know,
definitely come true.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
Maybe maybe a could be your thrallings.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
Yes, but my head, yeah they mean.
Speaker 5 (19:33):
Or yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
Yeah, yeah, it could work.
Speaker 4 (19:41):
That's funny. Thank you guys, you guys.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Much from Italy room near room.
Speaker 4 (19:49):
Yeah nice man, Thank you guys, Thank you guys. Speaking
to you guys.
Speaker 2 (19:53):

you with our mails and more on social network.
Speaker 1 (20:04):

guys and appreciate you guys supporting Subway media man, stay tuned.
Speaker 5 (20:12):
Yeah, and you pay the ticket, Pharo, yeah
Speaker 4 (20:22):
H
