really been watching weekly wrestling. I watched one stow today
in preparation for this episode, and that was NXT.

I was thinking before we get to the meat and
potatoes of this, which is of course WrestleMania being April
nineteenth and April twentieth, very busy weekend ahead because Sunday
is not only WrestleMania, it's also for twenty It's also Easter,
and it's also Hitler's birthday.

So that's a lot. You said, you'll be operating all
of those.

Dress said, I don't drive a cyber on what the wick. Yeah. Also,
since it's Easter weekend, which I don't think they realized
when they announced two years ago that this was WrestleMania,
I couldn't get it off from work because it's a

holiday weekend. Oh shit, but my word, my store doesn't
open on Easter. They close so we can spend it
with our families because Easter is what I'm doing that day.
And then I get out at five o'clock on Saturday,
so I have just enough time to drive to my
buddy Kyle's house, change in the car, and make it

in to watch the opening match. Sweet yeah, as we
know since we lived it last year. There's a lot
of other wrestling also going.

It's something we hold near and dear to our hearts
because we got to experience it together. The GCW Collective.

Yeah, straight out of Vegas.

Yes? The this year the GCW Collective was a four
night extravaganza.

The first show is the opening round. Well it's not.
I don't think it's the whole first round, but it's
like one of the opening rounds of the WWEE I
D Tournament.

Nice. When that was announced, a lot of people were,
rightfully so pretty excited for you know, you know, like
what does this mean for independent wrestlers like up and comers.
So it'll be exciting to see where where that goes.

I was reading an article, well amount an article, it
was like a tweet, and Brett Lauderdale, who owns Game
Changer Wrestling GCW, in exchange for doing the WWE ID
tournament at his show, was like, I get to put
one of my guys in the tournament.

So Atticus Kogar or Krogar. However, you say it is
in the ID tournament, all right, an opening round triple threat.
I don't know who he's fighting, but one of the

when Bailey was an NXT uh huh do you remember

i Isy is wrestling a showcase match at the show

she's like nineteen. I remember when I was nineteen and
watching her as a little girl, like freak out about
Bailey at ringside.

for the main roster are all competing in it.

Sport this year. Other highlights, we've got Joey Janella's spring
Break number nine.

six person scramble match where the only rule to compete

but they announced a last minute lineup change for that match.

No, No, Two of the old guys were wanted to
be drinking Mike's hard lemonade on the beach in South Carolina,
so they could not make the trip anymore, was what
Joey Janella tweeted. So Ricky mooreton the Warlord and I'm
totally drawing a blank action Mike Jackson.

And oh yes, I remember met Action Jackson.

Whoever the two that aren't in it anymore. They're being
replaced by Ricky Morton's tag team partner from the Rock
and Roll Express and based just Say Say Sace from Mexico.
So I think originally the youngest guy in the match
was fifty six, but now I don't think there's a
single competitor in the matches in their fifties. It's all

like sixty minimum plus Action Mike Jackson is the oldest
competitor in the contest. He's in his seventies.

Big Gay Brunch happening as always, But what's exciting about

He's the GCW World Champion. So the main event of
this year's Big Gay Brunch is e Fie versus Dark
Cheek for the GCW World title.

I don't know if you guys have seen the merch
for this year's Collective when they posted it online. But
this year's big Gay Brunch T shirt makes it look
like you're wearing the GCW title belt around your waist.

Because oh we didn't even mention Saboo's last match is
that Joey Janella's spring Break.

The Collective is coming to us live from a casino
this year in Vegas. It actually looks like they're in
an arena this year, so that's kind of cool.

I'm excited. I was a little bummed out because I
told my buddies to be here for seven pm Friday
night to watch the spring Break. It's seven pm las
Vegas time, which they live in Connecticut and this side

Andrade, when he competed in Money in the bank the
last time was Speed Champion, he didn't wear the belt
out for money in the bank. That's why it's not
in two K twenty five that belt. Those two belts
have been around longer than the women's I see and

What sucks because like I feel like definitely in it,
especially in that kind of game. Speed would be very fun.

Yeah, three minute time on match five for a title
just sounds like the perfect thing for that kind of game.

Also, it would be cool they could do that on

I don't know why we got rid of kickoff matches
because like, yeah, they're always fun. It gives people a
reason to be in the stadium earlier, which means more
like more food, beverage purchases, more merchandise purchases, more like
viewers online. Mm hmm, Like it just would make more

like no one wants to watch the kickoff show. Now,
if you add a match and people will tune in,
you don't really have to tell when it's going to
be on, so then they're kind of forced to watch
the whole from the start.

Yeah. Plus two, like a big complaint people have as
like a lot of like the pay per view shows
nowadays only have like five matches or show or so,
and it's like, yeah, like you don't want it to
get too bloaded, so why don't you just throw a
match or two on a pre show And then that
kind of just solves the issue, right, like, oh, there's
more wrestling to watch, but also it doesn't like bog down.

Now you don't like lose a spot of like a
match with something.

But yeah, I just wanted to mention that. Another thing
I think is a travesty is that the MotorCity machine
Guns versus the Street Profits for the tag titles is
going to be on the SmackDown before WrestleMania.

Interesting, makes no sense.

It should be on at WrestleMania. Yeah, that makes more
sense to be on the WrestleMania card than New Day
Versus Viking Raiders pretty much. But I will get to

right now. New Day Versus the Viking Raiders is on
I don't know which night of WrestleMania, but it's one
of the WrestleMania matches. It's for the raw tag team titles.
I know they're on SmackDown, but imagine the Viking Raiders.
They enter first, and you're saying, why are the champions
entering first? What about the respect for the title holder?

New Day enters second their entrance starts. They get about
halfway down the WrestleMania ramp, the lights go out. You
see the fireflies light up, we hear the music. The
Wyat six attacks the New Day during their entrance because
they target people who have betrayed their partners and friends.

We Miss and Eric Rowan take out the New Day
and replace them in the tag title match go on
to absolutely squash the Viking Raiders and become the new

the fact that a match is getting inducted into the
Hall of Fame.

And it's Brett Hart versus Stone Cold Steve Austin no
GQ at WrestleMania thirteen y.

this is like a new entry into the Hall of
Fame for them, that would make Stone Cold Steve Austin
a two time Hall of Famer and Brett the Hitman

inducted with the Heart Foundation, and I was getting inducted

So this year's Hall of Fame class consists of the

The Hall of Fame is a little lackluster this year,
first time. I have no interest in watching it, and

way better job of promoting Styles versus Paul than Styles

Oh okay, Yeah. One thing I will say about WrestleMania
also this year, it feels like we're not seeing any
of the competitors like appear on the weekly episodes.

Yeah, Like we tuned into Raw and I was like,
I hope we get to see see a baby and
he wasn't there. But I'm assuming he'll be on SmackDown.
But that was kind of a bummer. Yeah, in the
UK shows, haven't we Yeah. I feel like the reason
for that was because I think he was in the
UK filming stuff, so it was.

Like that's what I think as well. It seems like
since trivile H has taken over that they're very afraid
to have their superstars wrestle on TV for this Yeah,
like just because of like injury scares, but like.

episode of Raw before WrestleMania and I had to watch,
like I don't even know what was on Raw, Like.

they're hyping up the Styles versus Logan Paul match at WrestleMania,
but I had to watch like Carrion Cross tap out
Akira Tazaw and that was like the big match on
the go home episode, I'd be like what the fuck? Yeah,
Like a lot of the things I was reading about

last night's episode of Monday Night or Monday's Night's episode
of Raw was it didn't feel like the go home
episode it promote what was going to happen after WrestleMania,
then what is going to happen at WrestleMania. Like you're
setting up something big with Carrion Cross. They did a

lot with that on Monday Night Raw. That doesn't do
anything to add to WrestleMania. He's not even gonna be
there as far as we know. And then I was
reading a thing that a lot of people are praising.
Is Julius Creed the taller thinner one.

Get like a big push as a singles competitor, And
that was another big point that came out of Monday's Raw.

But it's like, it's I saw a good tweet that
I agree with. It's like the Eyes have good singles matches,
and then everyone's like push him at it as a
single star. It's like that's so insulting to his tag
team partner and to the tag team division as a whole. Right,
It's not it's not that he should get singles matches,
it's that there should be more tag team matches that

mean something, that they can actually go wrestle for twenty
minutes and have good matches like they did the week
previous in a tag team match.

Yeah, the card for Raw consisted of four matches. It
was Bailey versus Morgan, Mysterious versus Julius Creed. It just
I wasn't caring Cross, which you talked about in the
Baler and Penta. So like a lot of those are
to build up for like WrestleMania, like feuds or matches
or stuff. But again, like these aren't like like like

we're not seeing like Gunther like doing anything.

Like we're not seeing Dumper wrestle once since.

It's he wrestled did a squash match and I think
that was it.

Monday Night Raw like probably for like like a month
or so straight. It's like they have no issues with
certain champions doing that. Like it's just whenever it comes
to their top names, they're just so like almost overly

the momentum and the interest in these paper views and
stuff when none of the build is happening on the
weekly show.
