Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, here we go. Make sure volume is showing up. Good. Okay, great,
all right, let's get started with prayer. Hallelujah, Heavenly Father.
I thank you for your word, Lord, thank you that
your word does not return back Boyd, but it accomplishes
what you desire and succeeds in the matter for which

(00:20):
you send it. In Jesus' name, I pray Father, that
your spirit gives us wisdom and revelation in the knowledge
of God. In Jesus' name, Praise the Lord. So I'm
skipping ahead in the book of Psalm because someone reminded
me earlier this week. Nope, excuse me late last week

(00:43):
Friday morning, specifically about a wonderful verse in Psalm twenty.
So I decided to talk about it today, and so
that's where I'm sharing out of Let's read Psalm twenty.
May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble.
May the name of the God of Jacob set you

(01:05):
on high. May He send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion. May He remember all
your meal offerings and find your burnt offerings acceptable. May
He grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your counsel.
I want to read that verse in other translations. I'm

(01:28):
going to pull that up now, please excuse me, wible hub.
There we go, and it is Psalm twenty verse five. Nope,
verse four, Psalm twenty verse four. There we go, great

(01:53):
verse five. We will sing for joy over your victory,
and in the name of our God, we will set
up our banners. May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.
Now I know that the Lord Saves has anointed. He
will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving

(02:13):
strength of his right hand. Some boast in chariots and
some in horses, but we will boast in the name
of the Lord, our God. They have bowed down and fallen,
but we have risen and stood upright save o Lord.
May the King answer us in the day we call

(02:33):
that's King with the capital of k praise God. Okay,
So let's talk about this so verse one here, May
the Lord answer you in the day of trouble. May
the name of the God of Jacob set you on high,
Holly Loujah. Okay. So I want to talk about how

(02:57):
it doesn't matter what difference of circumstances any one of
us has. Everybody ends up being required to use their faith.
Just like everybody has to believe on Jesus to be
saved every human. Salvation is only available for humans. Is

(03:20):
not available for the angels who rebelled against God. Redemption
is available for humans. We have to believe on Jesus.
Every single human has to believe on Jesus in order
to be saved. And let me be clear, I'm not
talking about the little ones who went to heaven with

(03:44):
no knowledge or capacity. I'm not talking about that. I'm
talking about people who are well able to seek out
the Lord and seek out the truth of the Gospel
of Jesus Christ. Okay, So where it says about the

(04:05):
Lord answer you in the day of trouble, there's this
parable that Jesus told where he talked about building on
sand or building on the rock, and he talked about
how if you hear his sayings and act upon them,
you may be compared to a wise master builder who
dug deep and laid your foundation on the rock. And

(04:25):
if you hear his sayings and don't act upon them,
you're compared to a foolish person who built their house
on the sand. Okay, So to be clear, when he's
going through this parable. He is sharing that the storms
of life, the storms come to both houses, both builders.

(04:48):
This is not something where some people get storms and
some people don't. The Bible says that the wealth of
the riches are a high wall in the imagination of
the one who has them. The people who are who
are thinking that their money will get them out of

(05:11):
anything that they were to face. The Bible says, this
is a fantasy. Now that's my paraphrase. It's not scripture language,
but it's in their imagination that this is the protection
that they need. Okay, So we should be people who

(05:31):
understand and receive God's truth to where we're understanding there
is a day of trouble that comes when we are
going to need the answer of the Lord. And I
want to talk about how the Bible says riches do

(05:52):
not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers
from death glory to God. There's another scripture that says
that the Lord is to us a god of deliverances,
and he gives us escapes from death. Excuse me, I
correct myself. I believe the actual language of the verses
till the Lord belong escapes from death, praise God. So

(06:16):
we want verse one, that the Lord answers us in
the day of trouble, that the name of the God
of Jacob sets us on high. That's what we want.
There's another verse in Psalm twenty seven that's really good
in light of the name of the God of Jacob
setting us on high. It's Psalm twenty seven, and it

(06:38):
talks about Let me start with verse five, for in
the day of trouble, he will conceal me in his tabernacle,
in the secret place of his tent, he will hide me.
He will lift me up on a rock verse six.
And now my head will be lifted up above my
enemies around me, and I will offer in his tent

(07:01):
sacrifices with shouts of joy. I will sing, yes, I
will sing praises to the Lord, hallelujah. So that lifting
up truth of God featured in Psalm twenty seven and
Psalm twenty it still includes our heads being lifted up

(07:25):
above our enemies around us, as it's featured in Psalm
twenty Because the Word of God all fits together. That
needs to be very clear. There is no contradictions in
the Word of God. It is simply that people do
not understand sufficiently how it fits together. Okay, let's go

(07:45):
to verse two. May he send you help from the
sanctuary and grant you support from Zion. That is so awesome. Well,
what this has to do. One aspect I want to
highlight is in I think it's Psalm one O. Three twenty.

(08:07):
Let me make sure about how the angels hearken to
the voice of God's word to perform it. So the
word of God running very swiftly, the fulfilling of God's word,
God's promises by his heavenly messengers, the angels. This is
one important aspect of God sending us help from his sanctuary. Yes,

(08:30):
bless the Lord you his angels mighty and strength who
perform his word obeying the voice of His word. Another
aspect of this verse two is grant you support from Zion, hallelujah.

(08:52):
So Zion has to do with the body of Christ
and Israel together, the not Israel like the people who
refuse Jesus, but the Messianic Jews and the Gentiles who
have come to faith in Christ, all coming together in

(09:14):
the Lord Jesus Christ, hallelujah. And I don't like labels
like Messianic. I don't prefer that stuff. I'm just using
those terms endeavoring to be more clear. What I'm talking
about is if any man be in Christ, he is
a new creation, the new creations in Christ, Jesus, that

(09:37):
is Zion, which of course includes those Jews who receive
Jesus their Messiah, their redeemer. Faithful and true salvation is
first to the Jews than to those of us who
were not previously uncovenant with God. Hallelujah. Jesus was sent
first to the House of Israel, hallelujah. Okay, verse three,

(10:02):
may he remember all your meal offerings and find your
burnt offerings acceptable. Okay, I'm not going to get into
detail level of particulars in how the Bold Testament physical

(10:22):
realm details correlate to the spiritual truths of the laws
of the Kingdom of God and what we do on
this side of Jesus's death, burial and resurrection and ascension
to the Father's right hand. But clearly these offerings correlate.

(10:48):
This is not random, these ones that are being mentioned
and what they lead to the Lord remembering finding acceptable
these things are Sometimes if I wonder, if I say
these things are still relevant, if people will jump wildly

(11:08):
and slightly hysterical to she's saying, we should, you know,
do the old No, I'm not saying we're supposed to
go back and offer grain on all. No, No, I'm
not talking about that at all. I am talking about
the relationship in between the Old Testament and the New Testament.

(11:31):
That the connections were fulfilled and solidified through Jesus's victory,
through his sacrifice and victory, these connections were fulfilled and
became stable and retain structure. The Bible says that the

(11:55):
world's were framed by the word of God. Amen, that's
the truth. And so these Old Testament physical things that
we're done, like parables, like pictures, like depictions to help
introduce the spiritual truths and spiritual concepts of what we

(12:16):
should be doing today here and now as a part
of God's kingdom, and so understanding that we don't like
exclude mentally even the statements, the promises the truths of

(12:36):
God in verse three about may he remember all your
meal offerings and find your burnt offering acceptable. When we
see those types of references in the Word, we don't
shelve them be thinking like, oh, that means that's a
reference to physical offerings in the physical realm that are
no longer done. Whoo, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

(13:00):
We understand that the things of the Old Testament that
the Lord prescribed for his people. This is relevant as depictions,
as parables, as illustrations, as guides to the spiritual truths
of God that are now available not only to Jews,

(13:24):
but also to Gentiles, people who were not previously in
covenant with God because Jesus finished his work. It's awesome.
So one of the things I want to mention, as
I'm talking so much about this, when I had said
I wasn't going to get into that much detail, but

(13:44):
there is one detail that I wanted to get into specifically,
and that was that the Lord is the God who
answers by fight, and that was obviously completely literal in
the Old Testament. But now this God answer being the

(14:12):
Lord being the God who answers by fire is still
He never changes. He's still the God who answers by fire,
and the correlating sacrifices offerings that we bring to God
and operating in the spiritual laws of His kingdom and

(14:33):
in embracing the spiritual disciplines of what he has for us,
he is still the God who answers by fire. And
now it's not necessarily it's certainly much better for us
that it's not physical fire over and over like it
was in ancient times. It is far better for us

(14:54):
that the spiritual dominion that Jesus has finished work affords
to us. His sacrifice, his victory affords dominion in the
spiritual realm to those who are submitted to him. And
that is far more beneficial to us. And that is
the realm in which we have the greatest need of

(15:18):
the Lord to answer by fire, Amen, because that is
affecting the physical realm we are experiencing every day, every
moment of every day. Okay, So verse four, may He
grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your counsel.

(15:39):
I want to look at some other translations of that
from Bible. Help, and I'm just going to start reading.
If something stands out to me, you can look this
up yourself. So I'm twenty verse four. If you're intrigued,
and as to what translation for what phrasing? May He
give you, ooh, the desire of your heart and make

(15:59):
all your plans succeed, grant you according to your own heart,
and fulfill all your counsel and fulfill all your purpose.
May He grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all
your plans. May He give you what your heart desires

(16:21):
and fulfill your whole purpose. Glory to God. May God
do what you want most, and let all go well
for you. Okay, here we go, sorry scrolling still. May
He give you your heart's desire and carry out all
your plans. May He give you what you desire and

(16:42):
make all your plans succeed. May he grant you. May
He grant your heart's desire, and may He bring all
your plans to pass. Okay, let's look at some literal translations.
I like those a lot better. These all say counsel,
He gives you according to your heart, and fulfills all

(17:04):
your counsel. He doth give to you according to your heart,
and all your counsel he does fulfill. Mmmmm mmmmmm. That's
Young's literal. He doth give to you according to your heart,
and all your counsel doth fulfill, which Mobe does fulfill. Smith.

(17:25):
He will give to you according to your heart, and
fill up all your counsel, Glory to God. There's so
much in those literal translations. There's so much load of
revelation in each one. Fill up all your counsel is
like pregnant with truth and understanding. Who give you according

(17:50):
to your heart? That is so much more true, Oh
and brimming bursting with the opportunity and the power that's
in the Gospel. Then the more modern translations potentially making

(18:15):
it sound like God just does what you want, because
people can end up not understanding that when the Lord
talks to us, it is addressing us as believers according
to who we are in Christ, as if we're people

(18:36):
who walk after the spirit, people who submit ourselves therefore
to God and resist the devil, and the devil flees
from us. The Bible does not. The Bible is talking
to us in this way. It is not about receiving
the things that we ask God for, about what we
pray for, about God blessing us. It's not talking about

(18:58):
talking to us as if we are obviously carnal immature.
This is a type of mindset that comes from people.
It comes to people from their network, their lifestyle, their tendencies,
what they're used to thinking, what they're there the meditations

(19:20):
that they're familiar with, the meditations of their mind and
of their art and these types of things. But the
phrasing that the literal translations use of he gives you
according to your heart, that is much truer. I feel
it's much better language to convey in a way that

(19:45):
American Christians find easier to understand the true to the
Gospel manifestation of what this verse is articulating share with
us glory to God. I hope that's not really meandering

(20:06):
and verbos. I hope that ended up being somewhat clear.
Let's see here. Oh, I want to invite you both
to Okay, I invite you to be speakers. Okay, good, Okay. Next,
we will sing for joy over your victory, and in
the name of our God, we will set up our banners.

(20:26):
May the Lord fulfill all your petitions. You know, I'm
writing a trilogy right now, and in this story there's
a kingdom that has banners, and so I've been thinking
about the symbolism of banners recently, as I happen to
have wrote that particular part recently, and thinking about the

(20:52):
role of lifting them up and setting them up, that
kind of thing and I love how with the Lord
there's always more like I'm not at a level in
my faith, in my walk with God where I have
physical banners to set up in His name yet, but
i have more to look forward to and fulfilling the

(21:12):
things that the Word of God has to say, which
is to me is so exciting. So here where it
talks about we will sing for joy over your victory,
and in the name of our God, we will set
up our banners. May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.
So this is talking about relationship. So if you don't

(21:35):
know about spiritual partnership for the sake of the Kingdom
of God, it's so interesting. I'm so thankful that code
name is odd because she and I were just talking
about how powerful and blessed relationships are to us for
the purpose of advancing the Kingdom of God, for the

(21:56):
purpose of building the Kingdom of God. Even if there's
things about those relationships that have room for improvement, things
that we're not experiencing as much or as fully as
we would like in those relationships. Nonetheless, relationships that are
for the purpose a partnership for the Kingdom of God

(22:18):
in the Lord are such a great blessing, And I'll
tell you that these relationships are happening. If you don't
know anybody who is partaking of the type of biblical partnership,
the type of allegiance shared allegiance to the lordship of

(22:43):
Jesus Christ, you are the one who is part of
the group that's missing out. And you don't have to
stay there. You don't have to stay there. You can
be finding out about seeking first the Kingdom of God
and his righteous lines, and being drawn to others who

(23:04):
are that and that way, and having that in common
with them, and celebrating that in their lives, and being
able to be as happy for the person that you're
partnered with in the Kingdom of God over the good
things that happier. Actually, I'm way happier for Prophet Copeland

(23:24):
over things that happen for him then things that happen
for me, way happier. He is so precious and valuable
to me, and I love him so much. I'm so
thankful for what He's done for me, and I'm so
thankful to see God here and answer his prayers and petitions.

(23:46):
So if you don't have anything like that, just know
that it's out there and talk to God about it.
Find out who are you supposed to be partnered with,
who are you supposed to be learning from or or
whatever whatever he shows you from the Word, whatever he
shows you by the Holy Spirit, cultivate that, grow that

(24:09):
in you, and act in faith, be believing him, be
trusting in the Lord for the things that he shows you.
Because it started for me very small. When I first
started listening to Kenneth Copeland, it was approximately nineteen ninety six.
It was late nineties for sure, so it's just about

(24:29):
thirty years now, and I just initially, I just listened
to him when it was convenient for me, when he
was where I was, I listened. And then because of
the benefit to my life, then I began doing things

(24:51):
like looking forward to when I heard he was going
to be coming around and making an effort to be there.
And then I began to listen to messages that had
been previously recorded, and then I began to look into partnership.
I became a partner of his, and he talks about

(25:15):
how the number one contribution that his partners make. Number
one is our prayers, Number two is finances other types
of support, and as an intercessor, I immediately connected with
his understanding of the prioritization of people who pray and

(25:38):
use their faith on behalf of someone else, that this
far is a far greater value than a financial donation.
I immediately connected with that and experienced that sense of
safety at that demonstration of him seeking first the Kingdom
of God and his righteousness on or standing having the

(26:03):
aptitude and the strength and the skill to navigate in
the Kingdom of God successfully in regard to that. And
after that, I began to pay money for sermons to
access sermons that he had taught, like by a CD
series something like that. I bought books of his before

(26:26):
and I began to Oh.

Speaker 2 (26:28):
But before that, I started listening to his annual conference,
and then I began to make an effort to be
available as it was taking place so that I would be.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
Listening live to his conference. And then the Lord blessed
me to be able to go in person. There's so
many stages that the partnership went through, the progression of
it as more and more benefit came to me at
every level of involvement, and I got more and more
blessed to get even more involved and more involved. So

(27:03):
if you don't know about this. If you are totally unfamiliar,
you've never even heard of such a thing. All you
know about Christians is competitiveness and selfish ambition. This is
not the only thing that's going on. There are some
awesome things going on, and believe it or not, people
do talk about them, although it might not be in

(27:23):
the circles you've been exposed to so far. And so
I would encourage you to ask the Lord about what
you should know, what you should do in regard to
relationships partnerships for the purpose of the Kingdom of God
as a part of seeking first His Kingdom and his righteousness.

(27:44):
And to this day, as much money as I have
donated to Kenneth Copeland, however much that might be, the
contributions that I've made in prayer I know are far greater.
That is so special to me. And he prays for
me every day as his partner. That is such a

(28:08):
big deal to me. I really, it's beyond words. How
I treasure that in my heart. Okay, let's keep going now.
I know that the Lord saves his anointed, He will
answer him from his Holy heaven with a saving strength
of his right hand. Okay, So I want to draw

(28:30):
a line, so to speak. There is a connecting point
here the anointed, the Lord saves his anointed. The anointing
is accessed by humanity through the lordship of Jesus Christ.
That we can't touch the anointing apart from that, that is,
the only way is through the anointed one and his anointing.

(28:52):
That's how we become anointed. Okay. So there's a connection
in between anointed and and saving where it says with
the saving, strength of his right hand anointed saving and Okay, okay,

(29:12):
I actually think there's a connecting point also with answer,
So anointed, answer, saving, and strength of his right hand.
Those are all connecting points on the same spiritual truth
that is being relayed through this verse. So saving strength

(29:34):
of his right hand. Let's look at the last verse
of Psalm ninety one. It talks about how with a
long life, I will satisfy him and let him see
my salvation. Just to be clear, I would consider that
promise to let us see God's salvation even greater than

(29:56):
being satisfied with a long life, because the the cross
is foolishness to them which believe not, and we want
to see the work of God's salvation, see the outworking,
see the manifestations of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus

(30:17):
Christ in the earth, and perceive them for what they are.
We don't want to be stupid, insensitive, dull, uncomprehending, deluded.
We don't want any of that. We want to be
sharp and alert and blessed with sound minds, sober spirit

(30:41):
to see God's salvation. So where it says with the
saving strength of his right hand, so it's with God's
own right Was it right hand or right arm that
he brought? I think it was with his own right
arm he brought salvation to him. Hey, let me see

(31:08):
own arm brought salvation. I'm gonna give you the verse
because I want to make sure that I am quoting
this correctly. It's not coming up in my normal concordance,
So I am going to use rock as a concordance.

(31:28):
What Bible verse talks about God's own arm bringing salvation?
Excuse me, Isaiah fifty nine. Okay, yeah, Isaiah fifty nine.

(31:53):
Let me get it in my Bible. I don't like
reading out of the computer. If I kept my Bible
right in front of Isaiah fifty nine, Verse sixteen and
he saw that there was no man and was astonished
that there was no one to intercede. Then his own
arm brought salvation to him, and his righteousness upheld him.

(32:14):
Glory to God, Glory to God. He put on righteousness
like a breastplate and a helmet of salvation on his head.
He put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and wrapped
himself with zeal as a mantle. Praise the Lord. I
tell you, the Lord is so exciting, and the Word
is so exciting. That armor of God that he wears

(32:39):
is the same armor that is available to us in
Christ Jesus. That's why it talks about the helmet of
salvation in what God put on in Ephesian six is
because it literally is the armor of God. Isaiah sixty three,
verse five. I looked and there was no one to help,

(32:59):
and I was astonished, and there was no one to uphold.
So my own arm brought salvation to me, and my
wrath upheld me. So that is that is the saving
strength of his right hand. It pertains to the Gospel.
It pertains to Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. So let's

(33:21):
talk about the dynamics of this there's a few things
I want to mention that are involved in the cross
of Jesus Christ, and I want to talk about these
so that we're remembering some of the aspects of what
the salvation of God includes, so that when we see

(33:43):
the Lord saves his anointed, he will answer him from
his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
What are some of the things that's talking about. One
of them is, let me see if I have the
right reference two Peter two. No. Must be first, Peter,
help me out, Lord verse Peter two. Yes, And he

(34:08):
himself bore our sins in his body on the cross
that we might die to sin and live to righteousness.
For by his wounds you were healed. That right there,
one Peter two twenty four. That's one aspect of what
this exact verse is talking about. Now I know that

(34:29):
the Lord saves his anointed, he will answer him from
his Holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
That anointed answer, saving strength of his saving and strength
of his right hand. What that includes is what this

(34:50):
verse says. Okay, let's look at another one. Yeah, Colossians two.
Certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us which was
hostile to us. He has canceled it. He has taken
it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Yep,

(35:13):
that's included. Let's look at another verse. Second Colossians to
fifteen says, when he had disarmed the rulers and authorities,
he made a public display of them, having triumphed over
them through his cross. This is help me, Holy Spirit.

(35:36):
This is two other aspects of what is being discussed
right here, SOSNG twenty verse six, Anointed answer saving strength
of his right hand. This is included these two things.
The certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which

(35:58):
was hostile to us. He is taking it out of
the way, having nailed it to the cross. Also, disarming
of the rulers and authorities, made a public display of them,
having triumphed over them through his cross, Glory of God. Okay,
let's see. Let me get let me get the non

(36:24):
eyeball hub. I'm gonna get a different okay. Colostions to fifteen, Yeah, okay,
new international version says by the cross. New Living translation

(36:48):
says on the cross. Borean standard triumphed over them by
the cross. Some say in it meaning the cross amplified,
having triumphed over them through the cross. Hallelujah. Let me
see if yeah, the literal translations say either buy it

(37:11):
or in it the ones that I'm looking at right now. Okay,
enough on that, Let's keep going. Two scriptures over Galatians.
Then I'm going to move on to later verses in
Psalm twenty. There's two references to the cross in Galatians
that I want to go over for this and highlight
that this anointed answer saving strength of his right hand.

(37:36):
This is included and what that's talking about. Galatians three thirteen.
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having
become a curse for us, for it is written, cursed
is everyone who hangs on a tree. The truth hangs
on a tree is referring to the cross of Jesus Christ,
where he became a curse for us and redeemed us

(37:59):
from the curse the law Galatians two twenty. This is
available for our lives, our identity change transformation from being
outside of Christ and being of the first atom, to
being in Christ and being of the second or last

(38:21):
atom Galatians two twenty. I have been crucified with Christ
and is no longer I who live, but Christ lives
in me and the life which I now live in
the flesh. I live by faith and the Son of God,
who loved me and gave himself up for me. Okay,
So let's go back to the verse briefly two, and
just keeping in mind and considering these are things that

(38:44):
the Lord is bringing forth when he is talking about Now,
I know that the Lord saves his anointed. So we've
just looked at some things that the Lord means when
he's saying this, he will answer from his Holy heaven.
Those are some of the answers with the saving strength

(39:07):
of his right hand. The saving includes some of those
very things that we went over. Okay, the strength of
his right hand. I want to give you a specific verse.
Why I say that strength of his right hand in
the way that I do. I want to do Ephesians one. Okay.

(39:31):
So in Ephesians one, verse nineteen, it talks about the
Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation and the knowledge of
God giving us wisdom and revelation, the knowledge of God
about what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward
us who believe. The next part of the verse is

(39:54):
in accordance with the working of the strength of His might.
So this is not like power rangers Zachy with lightning
from the skies, surpassing greatness of power toward us who
believe this is a particular dynamic, a particular dynamic of

(40:15):
the spiritual realm that manifests in the physical realm in
accordance with the working of the strength of His might.
What is that, exactly? Verse twenty says, which he brought
about in Christ when he raised him from the dead
and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,

(40:37):
far above all rule and authority, and power and dominion
and every name that's named, not only in this age,
but also in the one which is to come. So
when God is talking about the working of the strength
of his might, what he is referring to is what
he brought about in Christ, when he raised him from
the dead and seated him at his right hand above

(40:58):
all these fallen angels and entities, and gave him the
name that is above every other name of those in heaven,
on the earth, and under the earth. That's the type
of working of the strength of his might that he's
talking about when he says the surpassing greatness of his
power toward us who believe. And that is what he

(41:21):
is referring to when he says, here strength of his
right hand, the saving strength of his right hand, Glory
to God. Okay, verse seven. Some boast in chariots and
some in horses, but we will boast in the name
of the Lord, our God. I just want to point
out something that the Holy Spirit spoke to me about

(41:42):
people trusting in chariots and horses, which, if you aren't familiar,
that could refer to artificial intelligence. That could be referring
to political clout, that could be referring to membership in
a particular club, being part of the wef whatever crap

(42:04):
people come up with that. You know, when we look
and we see and think to ourselves, how dumb it
would be to trust in a chariot, this is a
blessing for us to be able to look at long
after chariots are so obsolete and so outdated. I mean,

(42:24):
imagine somebody in a chariot versus somebody with a drone,
right like, it's not even a contest. And so the
thing to understand is it's a blessing to us to
have the distance in time and space in between what
these people were so familiar with the people at the

(42:45):
time this was written were so familiar with and trusting
in chariots and trusting in horses. I mean, we literally
would far rather have an automobile than a horse because
the yeah, for obvious reasons. I won't get into all that.
You can. You got that yourself, Okay. So what the
Lord pointed out to me is that the reason for

(43:07):
people boasting in chariots and some in horses, the reason
for this is because fear that's involved. They had fear
involved regarding chariots and fear involved regarding horses, and that
was the entry point for them to get into this boasting.

(43:29):
The place of safety is to boast in the name
of the Lord, our God. So I'm going to read
very briefly from Isaiah chapter eight, because it's really good
for me to be reminded, and therefore I will bless
you and remind you it is starting with verse nine.
Oh yeah, I will start with verse nine. Glory to God,

(43:53):
be broken out people's and be shattered and give ear
all remote places of the earth. Gird yourselves, yet be share.
Gird yourselves, yet be shattered. Devise a plan, but it
will be thwarted. State a proposal, but it will not stand.
For God is with us. For thus the Lord spoke
to me with mighty power and instructed me not to

(44:15):
walk in the way of this people, saying, you are
not to say a conspiracy in regard to all that
this people call a conspiracy, and you are not to
fear what they fear, or be in dread of it.
It is the Lord of Hosts whom you should regard
as holy, and he shall be your fear, and he
shall be your dread. Glory to God. Isn't that awesome? Okay,

(44:41):
I won't go on for time's sake, I'm going to
go back to Psalm twenty. Then it says they have
bowed down and fallen, but we have risen and stood upright.
Save o Lord, may the King answer us in the
day we call so. Rising and standing upright does have

(45:06):
to do with taking a stand on the word. It's
not separate and apart from that, it's not like stay
within the system of this world and just rise higher
and higher. It's come out from the midst of them
and be separate. And the Bible says that this world
is passing away, and the form of this world is

(45:29):
passing away. Praise God. Okay, So then it says verse nine,
say the Lord, may the King answer us in the
day we call so the King there is capitalized, which
is so beautiful because it has to do with approaching
that throne of the Lord and finding mercy and grace
to help in time of need, and the salvation process,

(45:53):
as we've talked about, has to do with well, let
me actually just read it from Roman ten. I'm going
to go through the template of the Gospel of Jesus Christ,
which is it's called the Word of faith here in
Roman's tent. Okay, let's see. I'm going to start with

(46:16):
verse six. But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows.
Do not say in your heart, who will ascend into
heaven that is to bring Christ down, or who will
descend into the abyss, that is to bring Christ up
from the dead. But what does it say? The Word
is near you in your mouth and in your heart.

(46:40):
That is the word of faith which we are preaching
that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord,
and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes,
resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting
in sound salvation. For the scripture says, whoever believes in

(47:03):
Him will not be disappointed, for there is no distinction
between you and Greek. For the same Lord as Lord
of all, abounding in riches, for all who call on him.
For whoever calls on the name of the Lord will
be saved, glory to God. So that's a description there

(47:24):
of the salvation process. So thank you for listening. Appreciate
your time so much. I'll be back again next week.
