Les Gitans se sont formés pour la première fois sous le nom de Dirty Reich au début des années 1960. Ils ont changé le nom de leur gang en Gitans en 1970. Ils ont été autorisés à devenir les Hells Angels de Sherbrooke / Lennoxville le 5 décembre 1984. Puis le 24 mai 1985, nous avons le massacre des membres du chapitre de Laval au bunker de Lennoxville, et voilà un très bref historique de l'évolution de The Dirty Reich.
