Speaker 1 (00:02):
What is going on? Everybody? Welcome to strike up your
quick beer reviews with your pals, Allen, Rapid Dave, and
WRAPI Dave.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
I'm allan.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
How's it going, buddy, man, it's getting better.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
It's it's getting a lot of some technical difficulties. Tonight's
stream is powered by a stream yard and the duck.
As you can see there, our normal service we use
apparently only one person can use it at a time.
I don't know, man, but we're gonna be drinking from
false idle today.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Tiger Tiger.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
This is as Rapid Dave has complained about for the
last twenty minutes. This is a ten percent, which is
a lie. It's a ten point five percenter. It's a
New England triple IPA double dry hopped with super solving,
Idaho seven estate grown Comet and neck Nectron neckturn sounds awesome.

(00:52):
Ten point five percent alcohol by volume, average score four
point five out of five and untapped out of three
hundred and fifty seven ratio.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Oh buddy, this is gonna blow your fricking mind. I
was actually looking up some of the hops and like
so that super sovin It's experimental twenty twenty three pink, grapefruit,
white grape and nectarine Idaho seven. It's gonna be tropical fruit, citrus,
piny notes. It could be like apricot, orange, red grapefruit, papaya, Okay,
and then that comet hop thing it says a steak grown.

(01:23):
So I don't know if it's the same, but I
don't know. It's too much stuff kind of going on here.
I don't know, man, I asked for like a profile
or whatever, and it's like a it's a mix of
British Sunshine hops and American wild hops. I mean, theron
exclusively at the Willamette Valley and has more of a
well rounded frame flavor and whatnot. But the nectaron, as

(01:46):
you said, it's gonna be intense tropical fruit flavors, including
like passion fruit, peach, and grapefruit. So it's gonna be
a lot of just kick you in the teeth.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Cheers, mas and good things.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Here's everybody. Oh yeah, so I thought it was like amazing,
like this things. Oh where an Alan go? He left
right back down to business. I don't a don't left.

(02:18):
Rye left. It's one of the two ge whizz.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
But it just like kicked me out.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
It was so powerful. You're like, what what.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
That's that's crazy?

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Man, man, So this bear is super juicy, super fruity. Yes,
it's it did I mean it shot up the glass.
But yeah, it's not saying like overly combinate carbonated. But
it's got a lot of fluff and it's like paper white.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Oh yeah, but it's there's just so many flavors and
the flavor and it's just it's just sticks in your
gullet for a while after you've taken a drink, like
it kind of makes your mouth water a little bit,
like I'm I'm digging this, like this is.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Don't uh, don't dump it all the way in? Did
you already dump it? You're gonna have some. You'll have
a float to there then that will go over there. Yeah,
I was slowing I was slowed down, slowing down to
check it out. So Beer a package in North rich
and Hills, Texas, seventy nine to twenty four Maplewood Avenue,
North rich and Hills, Texas. You can check them out
at at false Idol Brewing. I know they're on Facebook

(03:29):
and Instagram and I think they're on the tweet the
X as well, or you can check them out at
false idolbrew dot com. Love that place. You've been there,
it's down the street from your house. We love going there.
It's a really cool vibe. And then like say, around
this time of the year, maybe last month, open those
bay doors, let that breeze, and oh that's a good
Friday night right there. Oh yeah it is.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
And it's just got a lot of tasty beers. Brandon
and Edinbrew are out there does a phenomenal job. I
pretty much love everything that I've had from there. Right
trying to think of something that I've had that I
didn't really care for, and I can't.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
I mean, you heard me going down the list of
all the different beers that they have out there. It's
a crazy I had no idea. It seems like it's
got more extensive over time. And I haven't been there
in a couple of weeks, but even when I was
there last time, it was probably twenty on time. From
what I just looked at. I don't know about on top,
but they got beers for sale, they do beer to
go and things like that. Holy moly, I couldn't believe

(04:27):
the extent of that. And I saw some energy. I
doubt it's energy drinks. It can't be an energy beer,
but I'm not ruling anything out at this point. It
sounds like I got to make a trip down there
this weekend see what's going on.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Or I might have to make a trip down there
here in the next five minutes when we're done here
and go see what the hell's going on.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
I mean, just walk in and.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Just walk up to the rest of be like, hey, so,
what's your guys deal.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
What's the deal?

Speaker 2 (04:48):
What's the deal?

Speaker 1 (04:49):
I mean, I'm not totally against going not going live
and just going to a brewery, you know. So I'm
just saying, but I could be out that way in
no time them at all. Say I got the microphones, baby,
we just put the phone up there and chill, you
know what I mean. Somewhere but uh yeah, really cool place.

(05:10):
And it used to be part of the you know,
the triangle or whatever. There was, Yeah, Brutal out there.
I always forget the name of the turning point. Turning point. Well,
now you got the other one out there.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Now, the Seaworth has replaced Brutal well, but for it
makes the triangle a little bit bigger, right, probably more
of a triangle now to be honest with you, but yeah,
it's false. Title has been there. They started during the pandemic. No.
I still remember our first time we went there, like

(05:42):
they weren't abiding by any pandemic rules whatsoever.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
That made me luck them even more.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
There was no social distancing, nobody.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Was wearing masks.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
It was it was but the nut when they first
opened up, ever, Like I remember I was walking in there, like, hey,
how how are you guys open because like at that
point time you had to have X number of food
versus alcohol sales. And they're like, well, we just opened up,
so there's no percentage.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Yet, so doesn't exist, right, Yeah, I did like a
and they're like, yeah, to get around, I think we're
just giving away a bag of chips, selling a bag
of chips for five dollars and then you get it,
you know, or was that another place.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Turning Point sold you the cop.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
I like all this stuff, you know, And during that time,
I remember you had some people like even our friends
were just like, don't ever go don't go here. They're
not requiring masks, they don't make you put them on,
you know, all this kind of stuff, like dude, just
take it easy, you know. How about how about just whatever?
And then I remember causing a semi stir at one
brewery and they're like, well can you I walked up

(06:48):
and was like, hey, can I get this? And he's like, yeah, actually,
can you put your mask on real quick? I'm still
staying like we're still standing three feet from each other.
And I was like, yeah, sure, and I put it on.
I go is that better?

Speaker 2 (06:59):
He said yes, thank you?

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Yeah. I was just like, okay, now can I have
my Can I have my beer? Now? What's that? Guys? Like,
I'm out here trying to help you. I'm trying to
help your.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Show, trying to give you some money.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
But apparently so oh and now rapid Ay has been
kicked out.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
This is amazing.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
So we're using the stream Yard, which we haven't used
in years or night years and been years, it's been
a while, but we don't have a subscription.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
It's it's the free, dude. I was just talking.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
I was just like, so we're using stream yard we
haven't used in years that well, it has been years,
it's been months, but we're using the free. And apparently
in the free they just kick you out every once
in a while. They're just like, hey, get give the
look out.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Of here it.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Oh my god, yeah, I'm telling you. I actually so,
I flipped mine over too, because I know that it
takes a lot to run stream yard and restream in
Chrome like it. You know, I never really had problems
with each the computer for a long time. And then like,
there's nothing on this thing. I don't use it for
anything other than uploading videos and stuff like that, and
like it'll see, like, oh, you know, your connection is

(08:05):
fairly poor. It's unstable. I'm like, it's plugged into the router.
And I actually just ran a test because I'm sitting
here and I ran a test and it's on the
slow side. It's one hundred mags up and one hundred
bags down. I go, I think we can get this done.
I think we can get there.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
We can make it.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
We can Oh my god, two kickouts already on the
free version. They don't want you to have free, they
want you to pay. We're just waiting for our buddy
to stop his show so we can move on and
enjoy our lives. This is the most wheels. This isn't
the most wheels off done. I'm not gonna say that,
but it's pretty it's getting me.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
We've had some that we've recorded that we've never aired.
We just looked at it the next day and was like,
we weren't using words delete. Man.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
So I went to Costco. This isn't Bear related. I'm
just going to tell you a story. I went to
Costco today and I was like, yeah, let me go
see what they got. They had a big giant jug
of Weller, you know, reserve, and then they had buffalo
trace out, and then they had Traveler. It's a new
thing for buffalo trace and so and I was like,

(09:07):
oh my god, it's like, all right, let me see
how much it says. And the big jug was sixty
bucks and then and that would like normally be like
one hundred, one hundred and twenty bucks. The Buffalo trace
is like twenty five. That normally be thirty thirty five
l sixty on the other market, you know, and whatnot.
It's like, oh my goodness. So I was like I'm
walking out of there, and listen is like you're drinking whiskey,
and I go, I don't plan on it, but not
just that. I can't foresee the future. And that night

(09:31):
when we did that show, she's like the second half
and even old school's, like, can I get a copy
of the second half of that show the last hour
and a half ago? No, you cannot. It's like cause
all our heads, we were all kind of like over
here or leaning back, and you could not understand a
worder was that. It's still out, it's on I have
I have the video. It's on YouTube. It's just blocked,

(09:51):
so it's there. Anyways, So back to this beer. Look
at it. Look at it dressing down the cup, auland
your favorite thing. Oh buddy, I.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
Don't know what it is that that I like about that,
but it just I don't know. It makes me feel
warm and fuzzy inside, is what it does when you
got a beer that just kind of dresses down the
glass and just lets you know that, hey, we got
some stuff here for you. So as I was mentioning,
you know, you got some See I didn't pour all
the way.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Yeah, so I am absent the floaters.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
I talk about this on other live streams and things
like that, and it's like, if you don't mind, then
it doesn't bother you. But if not, you give up
just a couple of ounces, you know, or not even
probably about one ounce of your beer and if it
small breweries and things like that, they filter out most
of these people. They filter out stuff like that. But
if you drink unfiltered beer, you'll have stuff floating around.

(10:43):
But if it's filtered, it all, you know, it'll you
might have some trub in there, or some floaters or
something like that and accumulates at the bottom. So when
you tip the can all the way down, give it
a hard poor that could eventually disturb it, and it'll
come out towards the end. But you can get pretty
much the whole beer out of here without.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
We've all d we've all drank those floaters before.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Ye Scott Oles said, Hey, it's just a little there's
just your little friends floating around there.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
So much flavor for you is what it is. Give
you a little something to chew on at the end
of your beer. You know, theres nothing wrong with that.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
God all bro for a ten and a half percent
of this thing is too smooth. It's too smooth, it's
too juicy, it's too flavorful.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
There's so much flavor in it.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
It's like the first sip.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
It's it's almost overwhelming, how much flavor that you have
with that first drink.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
You're just like, WHOA, where did all that come from? Right?

Speaker 3 (11:39):
But then as you take your second and your third
or fourth sip, you're like, Okay, all right, I now
know what I'm getting from it. So it's not shocking me,
it's not surprising me.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
But I really really enjoy this beer.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
I'm gonna I'm at a four point twenty five on
this one, Like.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Did you already mention this? It's it's a four. It's
an average score of four point one five out of
three hundred fifty seven ratings on untapped. Okay, so there you.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
Go, wards five, four two five. It's it's got everything.
It's got that little extra that I like at the
end of my I p as that a lot of
brewers have kind of gone away with. Like I'm sick
and tired of drinking smooth IPAs where you don't know
you're drinking in I p A. I want that ip
where it's got that little extra kick at the end

(12:25):
of it, a little bit of just just that that
that pal uh. This has got that packed with flavor, delicious.
Not only is it good, but it's good for you.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Yeah, how many different hot varieties it one, two, three, four,
so four different hot varieties. It's a triple I p
a this shit. This thing should be knocking your socks off,
but instead it's just so flavoring, so juicy, and uh,
you know, just crushable, which gets you in trouble. It's
a ten percent, ten point five percent.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Come on, give it the respect that deserves.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
Okay, I'm gonna finish this off.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
Yeah for me, I'll give it a four. Like this beer.
I like the can art as well. It's very cool.
We were trying to look it up Tiger Tiger, and
it led me back to a poem William Blake poem. Yeah,
William Blake poem called the Tiger, and I was like, okay,
well that's cool if that's what it is. You know,
I couldn't tell. I don't know, I don't know the
poem or anything like that. So but uh, I like

(13:22):
the can art, big fan.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
And uh, just in case you were curious that the
poem explores the nature of creation and questions the divine will,
specifically pondering the creation of the fierce and powerful tiger.
If you're into that kind of stuff, check it out.
And if you're in great tasting beers, go get you

(13:46):
some of this because it will knock your socks off
Wang and that's a good thing.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
Big thumbs up for me.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
Oh yeah, go and get you some have you guys
had Tiger Tiger yet let us know. Let's know what
you think. If you haven't stopped what you're doing right now,
you can do this because you don't want a chance
not getting it. So go to internet dot com and
go to fall Sidle and you can order it on
your website and go and pick it up. So when

(14:13):
you get to the brewery your orders ready for you. You
just walk up and go, hey, I got an order
for Steve, and they'll be like here you go, Steve,
and you're like, thank you very much, Sally, and then
you walk out with your beer lickety split, Steve, so
you can get home and put it in your gullet.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
I think I'm gonna try to go out there for
Bike Night next week. I think they're they're part of
bike Night nowadays. I think so. Yeah, So we'll get
back on that week.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
To find out. As always, I allan talk to you later.
