(00:22):
thinking, encouragement and goodness. Ihope you are doing and feeling well today.
Let's get into our topic. Okay, I'm gonna start this one off
with a directive, get honest withyourself. Being honest with yourself requires more
out of you and your awareness. So often we allow ourselves a pass,

(00:47):
but no more passes. This isyou taking a real good look at yourself
and making a concerted effort to developinto the person that you really want to
be. Think of the things thatyou do that may allow you to play
small and assess the why behind thosethings. Could it be that you're running

(01:07):
from something, Maybe you're afraid offailure. Whatever it is, I want
you to quit playing small when itcomes to getting honest with yourself by identifying
your areas or improvement or areas whereyou're lacking and you know you need to
be better. Once you identify thoseareas, it's time for us to do

(01:32):
something about it. Let's start makinga plan, some action steps, even
if you just briefly drop them down. Okay, this is where I need
to be better. This is onething that I can think of that can
help me to be better in thatarea. You take action by holding yourself

(01:52):
accountable. Ask yourself questions daily thatwill challenge you think along the lines of
maybe something like what do I needto do to show up for myself?
How can I play bigger? Howcan I stop running and hiding from the
greatness that I know is inside ofme? How can I be a better

(02:13):
version of myself? What's one thingthat I can do to step it up
today? Now, this is nota one time thing. These are questions
that you should be asking yourself regularlyif you want to lean into your greatness.
It's a daily activity to check inwith yourself, to get honest with

(02:35):
yourself and to see where you areversus where you want to be. Thank
you so much for spending time withme today. I hope that you get
out there, you do your best, you give your best, you show
up as your best, and asalways, be well. This podcast is

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
