Today, we're talking about how to view your life as a unique work of art, shaped by your experiences. Instead of striving for perfection, I encourage you to embrace natural, unaltered moments to create a masterpiece. Just like creating art, living life is a fluid and open process that's open to interpretation.

This is amazing media production. Thisepisode of the Quick Playing Small podcast is

(00:23):
brought to you by I Quit PlayingSmall dot com, where you can get
your copy of the quip Playing Smallcompanion book to this pot. It's filled
with daily inspiration you didn't know youneeded. Hello, most awesome one.
I'm a Yanna Angel and you arelistening to the quip Playing Small podcast,

(00:44):
your space for inspired thinking, encouragementand goodness. All right, now that
we're feeling good, doing good, let's go ahead and dive into our bit
of inspiration for the day. Youcan stop trying to create the perfect picture.
Life can be similar to a workof art. Let the beauty of
natural, unaltered moments create the masterpiece. The canvas is blank when you're a

(01:11):
baby. Colors, textures, andtones are added as you begin to explore
and learn from your environment. Artistsare not limited to what their art can
be. Some elements are intentional ina creation and some accidental because creating art
is fluid, it's a process,it's an expression. So let your life

(01:36):
imitate art, allow it to turninto your greatest masterpiece. I'm a person
who enjoys going to museums looking atthe artwork now I will not remember all
of the artists' names and the nameof the piece of the work that I
enjoyed, because I just don't committhe stuff to memory, but I do

(01:57):
enjoy taking it. In a fewweeks ago, I went to the moment
here in New York, and youwill see so many different types of art
created, and it's easy for peopleto look at it and think I can
do that. That seems so simple, But see, art is open for
interpretation. It is coming from aplace in someone's spirit, in their body,

(02:23):
in their mind, and their energy. So while it can be duplicated,
you know what I mean, Like, maybe not exactly duplicated, but
you can try to replicate it.No one can ever recreate the process that
it took to create that piece ofart, what was going on in that

(02:44):
person's mind, because it is uniqueto them, and so your life's work.
Look at it as your art,it is unique to you. You
have all the perfect colors, youhave all the perfect pieces, the perfect
tools, the perfect experiences in orderto shape your work of art, and

(03:08):
your work of art is you.So lean into the experiences, allow them
to shape and move you, andallow your work of art to be your
greatest masterpiece. Why not. Itend to be a creative person in the

(03:29):
sense that I like trying things,I like doing things. I also love
refurbishing things like furniture pieces and thingsthat it allow me to use my hands,
you know, because sometimes we think, think, think, think,
think so much about everything that sometimesyou just need to do. You don't
need to overthink it, You don'tneed to spend all this excess energy trying

(03:53):
to figure it out. You justneed to be in a space of doing
and working and moving. And forme, that always feels good. It
feels like an outlet. It feelslike an expression for me. And so
if you're trying to lean into lettinggo more so that you can create this
work of art that is your lifewithout undo stress and pressure, then I

(04:19):
would say, find something to do. Maybe it's a hobby, it's something
big or small that just allows youto release and let go, to not
have to overthink things, to justgo with the flow, to just create,
to just be and to just do. Sometimes that will rejuvenate us in

(04:40):
a way that produces results on theother side that we never expected. Okay,
I'm gonna leave it here for today. Thank you. So much for
joining me. Thank you for spendingtime with me. As always, I
appreciate you wherever you are. Ihope that you're enjoying your days and they
are shaping up wonderfully. As always, bewell can, I'll speak to you
