Foot by the Patti Smith Band, and that was off their fourth LP,

(20:07):
entitled Wave, released in nineteen seventynine, and the last album to be
released by that incarnation of the PattiSmith Group. I think she went just
by Patti Smith after that. Thatalbum was produced by Todd Rundgren, and
I do love Patti Smith. She'sa bit of a poet. Listening to
her recital at the end of that, I was wondering, could she be?

(20:30):
Is she the female equivalent of JimMorrison? Didn't think about that until
now. Before that, we hadMorning Has Broken Kat Stevens. That was
released in Oh Teaser in the Firecatbig record from Kat Stevens released in nineteen
seventy one, and he now goesby Yusef, But boy did he have

(20:52):
a catalog under Kat Stevens Moniker andthat's a cool one. That Teaser in
the Firecat album is a classic seventiesl If you're interested, go out and
get it listen to it love CatStevens. Before that, we had a
rabbit Hole Radio favorite, Roxy Music, still Falls the Rain from their sixth
studio LP Manifesto, also released innineteen seventy nine. Seventies were good year

(21:18):
for Roxy Music. That was fouryears after their previous LP had been released,
and they made cool music all theway to today. And then before
that we had Oh Yeah, PeterRowan with Sweet Melinda that featured Bill Kreutzman,
Jerry Garcia. There were other membersof the Grateful Dead I think oh

(21:41):
John Cohn and David Grisman on Mandalian. So that was from an album Peter
Rowan album called Texican Badman released innineteen eighty so that set had a bit
of an acoustic emphasis there not onpurpose, things happened here in the rabbit
Hole. I want to thank groupof devoted listeners for helping put this show

(22:06):
together. It takes a village andthose that support me nothing but gratitude.
Thank you for helping me pull ittogether. Today. Those of you listening
to Northern California and once against celebratingLindy's birthday, so you're listening to rabbit
Hole Radio, I'm your host,Ross Harry, Let's see what else is

(22:26):
going on down here? Just asmile at us beating all over her face.

(39:25):
spring again. I have no fairtimes? And who knows where the time

(39:58):
gold? So that was who KnowsWhere the Time Goes by British folk rock

(40:32):
band Fairport Convention. That song wassung and written by Sandy Denny regarded it
as her most notable achievement as asongwriter. The album is Unhalf Bricking.
It's their third album and it wasthe second of two albums that Fairport Convention
released in nineteen sixty nine. SoBritish folk rock is super cool. That's

(40:57):
a deep, fun rabbit hole toexplore, spend a lot of time making
new discoveries there. I like it. Sandy Denny was the female duet vocal
to the duet with Robert Plant onBattle Forevermore on led Zeppelin four, So

(41:17):
that's crossing a lot of dots therein British rock and roll. Before that,
we had Bad Company with Siegel, very very cool acoustic number. That
was from their album entitled Bad Companywas their debut that was released in nineteen
seventy three, and that was thefirst album to be released on Led Zeppelin

(41:42):
swan Song record label. For allyou Vinyl collectors, that's a cool thing.
Another Zeppelin connection before that, DavidBowie Word On a Wing from his
album Station to Station. That washis tenth studio album, released in nineteen
seventy five. Bowie had cool seventiesrecords. It was kind of he began

(42:06):
the decade with his ziggy Startust thingseventy two. Aladdin Sane was the seventies,
but the mid seventies Stationed to Station, Young Americans. Those are cool
records, super cool records if yourBowie fan check that out. Before that,
we had an acoustic number another rabbitHole radio favorite, Rory Gallagher from

(42:27):
another debut studio album simply entitled RoryGallagher, released in nineteen seventy one.
And then, as we mentioned beforethat, we had Patti Smith with Dancing
Barefoot. Another note about that forfans of rock and roll series, there's
a series on Prime Amazon Prime Video. Not to plug another media outlet,

(42:52):
but Daisy in the sixth It's aninteresting rock show about a rock band.
But that's where that Patti Smith cameon in the intro there and came on
my radar. So you're listening torabbit Hole Radio. Hope you're having as
much fun as I am. Alittle mellower vibe today or not so mellow
just acoustic? What's next? Watchmellow sound? The sun is just done.

They had money they all take down. The far sky was bright, the

traffic light now and then a trunk, and they hadn't seen a cover around
all day. I brought everything theyneeded, makes the scales to weigh your

their fifth studio LP, and theymade a bit of noise in the eighties.
They're fun. Didn't go too farwith them. I have one of
their LPs and it was actually atrade, But I do dig that song
and I very much enjoyed playing itfor you here tonight on rabbit Hole Radio.

(59:49):
Before that, we had John Lennonwith an alternative track or alternative cut
of Steel and Glass from his nineteenseventy four album Walls and Bridges, and
boy did that sound awesome here onthe headphones. I'll bet it was fun
to jam with John Lennon in thestudio. And before that we had a
live track from a Blue Oyster Colt, their live record on Your Feet or

(01:00:14):
on your Release, On your Feetor on your Knees, released in nineteen
seventy five. I was big inI'm big into Blue Oyster Colt and saw
them a number of times in thateras like seventy to seventy nine, and
that was cool and that was funto play. So thank you for choosing
