(20:08):
Metallic from an English band named KatherineWheel from their debut studio album Ferment that
was released in nineteen ninety two,and I picked that up along the way.
I don't know a whole lot aboutthem, but I really dug that
tune when out bought the CD andlove it to this day. It's a
pleasure to share it with you hereon rabbit Hole Radio. Before that,

(20:32):
we have if you Can't Only Seethe Way performed by Tonic off their debut
album in ninety six, Lemon Parade. That's a cool tune. I sort
of recognized it, stumbled on itin the rabbit Hole, liked it,
explored the album a bit, andwe'll be sharing more of Tonic with you
in upcoming episodes. Before that,we have we had Oh Shimmy Lowe from

(20:57):
the Clarks from their album Fast MovingCars released in two thousand and four.
That was their seventh album. Theyare a Pittsburgh based band and in the
course of a thirty plus year career, they have produced eleven studio albums,
two live albums, and two compilationalbums NAP and four solo releases. I

(21:22):
had never heard of them until recently, and I want to give a shout
out to Matthew in Stockton for turningme onto them. Thank you. And
then before that, we had aclassic Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers from their
nineteen ninety nine album Echo Swinging.I dig Echo. That's a cool album.
It's their tenth studio album. Itwas released at a tough time for

(21:48):
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Itwas the last to feature contributions from long
time bassist and vocalist Howie Epstein, who died of a heroin overdose in two
thousand and three despite still being amember of the band. He's missing from
the cover because he didn't show upfor the photo shoot. Read between the

(22:08):
lines and Petty ordered the photoshoot tomove forward, So there you have it.
It was also the first Tom Pettyand the Heartbreakers album to feature long
time touring member Scott Thurston. Echois a very cool album, as are
all of Tom Petty's album, hissuper vast catalog explore that more. And

(22:30):
of course we will hear on rabbitHole Radio. So you're tuned into KXFM
Human Crafted Radio one oh four sevenin Laguna Beach, and we're having fun
in sort of a nineties ninety twoto two thousand and two, a thirty
decade, a three decade time frame. Step mide up, I could tell

(23:15):
my hol far shot shot a stretchedout he walked with a purpose in the
sneakers down street. The questions liketru loved do he said, tell me

(23:44):
your song? Tell me my Marybart must ha happen, Lady tip all

(24:15):
my way the sun brotream of blows. We count only blue cars, schoolcrats,
streets. Questions like true love dowe said, tell me all your

(24:47):
soul because I read toad a score, Tell me yours God, because I'm

(25:10):
on my way to see her.So tell me my getting cold picked up

(25:36):
the pace holla, shoes make harnessesand space clos are stained. Pass my
room, my sa people. Myquestions like children loveden j so Gods I

(26:17):
reading to read her school. Iwill tell me all your my so God,
because I'm on my way to seeher tell me my bery, I

(26:48):
every everyone tell me what's it?The last time? All the time before

(27:22):
nat you comes from the way toart work to this mantal? What that
didn't make? The barn? Wheredid we go? Straight? Tip going?

(27:45):
Except the who s abtitude? Mustalone live in an absolute. It's
an emergency. Try to remain calm. Where I didn't we come last?

(28:08):
I take no more to take aimpretty much not my soone has to being
lissed on the castle. But Ican't turn out to be a pup.
Where did we go? So?So so? So? I sits in

(29:02):
my phone, get hard to bewarm? So far befall my fucking word.
It is to leave one's the foodon the treat to low? Where
did we go? World? WhenI no longer feel there, I go

(30:15):
because I know what I am herefor. I keep on turning on my
own path, keep on learning frommy present and past. Yet when I
no longer need validation, because mystory is long and I'm patient, I
know that I have lessons to learn, and keep my eyes open each step
I earn. It. Don't needfor me to feel of low, because

(30:38):
I gotta place that I call holdevery single road, travel every single new
place, and I come back homethey accept me with grace. It when
I know that I wasn't meant tobe here, and I know that I
was born into fear, But Iwill stand holding the lion's death because I
know in my heart I am oneof them. That they're realizing the facets

(31:02):
of everything that we see, thatthey're telling us to be scared when no
we ever arst free. I'm lettinggo of the things that don't serve me
no more because I am holy andsacred and righteous and you and not deserve
to be here, and so doyou said I deserve to be here,

(31:33):
But I'm in a constant transition, constantly change in vision, story, never
certain. There is always a revisionto be made. When I think about
the demons I have stayed, Iam not afraid of confrontation in vain to
the people that's he even not thispeaceful less a look but a worry.
You're rid hard, so percaution mustbe took. What I'm trying to give
into the lessons that will soft inMy ways and means are changing because I

(31:56):
talked to us to be rid.Often tell me to stay sharp tell me
Tuesday present, tell me to ignorethe fools and focus on us and well,
I said, I will start myego and I will remain strong.
I will make mistakes and I willoften be wrong when I'm perfectly imperfect,
and I'm only here to learning onthe evil. When the path gets burned,
I said, I'm perfectly imperfect, and I'm only here to learn on

(32:17):
only evil on the path gets burned. They're relies in the facets of everything
that we see that it's telling usto be scared, when no we of
a horror is free. I'm lettinggo of the things that don't serve me
no more because I am holy andsacred and righteous, and you will not

(32:42):
deserve to be here, and sodo you. The pressure always come from

(33:10):
the outside. I turn to ding, where I resigned with this is my
heart, my home much or it'smy love, my life, my have
my voice. If you my heartgrow with each step, stand firming where
the path goes next, when Iknow that where it goes is where I
need to be. The more lessonsrained down, more blessings. I see

(33:32):
it. Since they're realizing the facetsof everything that we see that they're telling
us to be scared when no weaver r is free. I'm letting go
of the things that don't serve meno more because I am holy. I'm
sacred and righteous and true, andI deserve to be here and so do

(33:55):
you. M m m hmm.I will out on town Star, I

(34:29):
called in traffic song back onside. You don't know so watch you can't took

(35:22):
the trip on skip in thetion sakmy ship like a breakout soul. Come
around round the time, spun around, running ground inside your heart. You

(36:06):
can't escape. She should then takeyou. Well. That was The Black

(37:35):
Keys with breaking down from their twentynineteen release Let's Rock um stylized with single
quotation marks. That's their ninth studioalbum, and wow, I really dig
the Black Keys. They they rockedvery hard. Um. They have been
prolific they started. Their first albumwas two thousand and two and that was

(37:57):
their ninth and that was twenty nineteen, so busy band. Before that,
we had I Am song by Satsang something I discovered in the rabbit hole.
Boy you get on when I getonline and spend time searching for music,
It's crazy time flies. That wasfrom the Story of You album,
released in twenty sixteen, their secondstudio album, that really digs that,

(38:22):
saying before that, Ben Harper,Where Did We Go Wrong? From his
twenty twenty two release Bloodline Maintenance.Ben Harper is another very cool artist,
super super cool. Somebody I'd liketo see live Before that. County Blue
Cars from Dishwala, their nineteen ninetyfive debut album, Pet Your Friends.

(38:45):
So we're down here in the rabbitholes, screening around you know, twenty
nineteen, twenty sixteen, twenty two, nineties, What's next? The big
bright moon shining down all the desertsand I reached down, touched the earth

(39:14):
and held it in my hand asthe dirt filled through my fingers. The
wind it seem to say, don'tput off until tomorrow. What you can't
do today calls time. Don't wait, don't know by it's time, No

(39:37):
wait, don't know by the time, no wait, I don't know why.
It just keeps moving on time,no way, don't know by it's
time, no way, don't knowby it's time, don't wait, don't
know, but it just keeps moolingon. He Hello and on a thousand

(40:10):
angels, drop matches and lit upthe desert sky. A pillar a fired
from east to west, came slowlydrive God by voice from the cloud like
thunder, to start looking for rideto where yesterday he meets tomorrow that'll get

(40:36):
you to the other side and wheretime? No wait, don't know by
any time? No wait, don'tknow by any time, No way,
don't know why. It just keepssmoothing on time, No way, don't
know by the time, No way, don't know by the time, No

(41:00):
way, I don't know. Bodyjust keep scooping on and on and on
and on. Well time, noway, don't know by the time,

(41:44):
No way, I don't know byat the time, No way, I
don't know. Body just keep smoothingon I said time. No I don't
know where. I don't don't know. I don't time, No way I'll
know why. It just keeps boomingon and on and on and on and

(42:14):
on and on. Time. Howcan I fly with these old, darky

(43:29):
wings? While a magpie sing someshiny soul old corn face rove teeth,
she says sweetly to me in theelevator. Everything seems like a dream and

(43:58):
life's scream. Here come home.Kerosenia, with his ear flaps waxed acorns.
Girl, come clattering here on yourown closing skates with that devilish boot.

(44:32):
Everything seems like a dream, alife's scream. When you're supparin m

(45:02):
m m, so don't you botherme death with your leathery ways, and

(45:34):
you're all in chase lound, Thekerman'sfence of heathery tires. When the cook's
gone mad, started several fires.Everything seems like a dream. When your

(46:00):
submarine then like a stream, shesays suddenly to me from the chair,

(46:22):
Bring me a steak in my ownpair of crows, my medicine lamp.
That seems like contrue some of life'sscream. M h m hm h m.

(48:29):
Are you up in the middle ofthe day, like the five four
time you was out like a protouch burn. I was a key that
could use a little turning, sotired that I couldn't even sleep. So

(48:50):
many secrets I could be key,Promise myself I wouldn't be one more promise
I couldn't heat. It seems noone can't help me now I'm et eat
this. No way out this time. I haven't really let myself drain run

(49:17):
away, shain't ever going back away, no one way track seems like
I should be get it somewhere somehow, either enough thing, she shouldn't help

(49:39):
me remember how to smile? Makeit some hard seem worthwhile Harna did I
get so cheated? Life? Misterreceived some big I can go, but
no one else can go? Ino one, don't one ever no here.

(50:02):
I am just drowning to the brainwith a ticket ball run away shade,
and everything seems cut and try today night skies somehow, just don't
believe that run away shrain never goingback my way, I don't want way

(50:34):
track seems like a shippy getting somewheresun down again the day I want to

(51:16):
take it. For away train likea madman, laughing at the rain.
Allowed to touch little thing, it'sjust easy and dealing with the cake.
Run Away train, never going back, run away on a one way track

(51:42):
seems like I should be getting somewheresomehow. Either cannot be here, run
away t haven coming back, runaway shain't hamming up the track, run
away say run it run away, but it I was the same. So

(52:35):
that was Runaway Train by Soul Asylumfrom their nineteen ninety two album Grave Dancers
Union, which was their sixth studioLP and that is a cool record.
That's a fun one to go trackthrough the whole thing. Put it on
listen and dig it um. Iliked Soul Asylum. Before that, we
had Cracker with Kerosene Hat making theirdebut here on rabbit Hole Radio. Kerosene

(53:02):
Hat is the second studio album fromCracker that was released in nineteen ninety three.
The lead person on Cracker, Ithink he writes most, if not
all, of their songs, certainlycollaborating on all of them. Had a
band before Cracker called Camper van BeethovenTake the Skinheads Bowling. Some of you

(53:23):
may recognize that title, but that'sa deep rabbit Hole their catalog school and
I dig the kerosene Hat. Thenbefore that, we had Marty Stewart and
his fabulous, fabulous Supertatives with TimeDon't Wait from their Night Our twenty seventeen
release Way Out West Now. Thatalbum was produced by Tom Petty and the

(53:47):
Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell. How awesomeis that? That was twenty seventeen.
Tragically, that was a year TomPetty passed away. I want to give
a shout out to Steve in Indio, a supporter and loyal listener of rabbit
Hole Radio for letting me know thatAmazon broadcast Stagecoach Live and I was grateful

(54:13):
to catch Marty Stewart's set where heplayed that and it was awesome. So
that was fun to share with youtoday. So sadly we've reached the end
of this edition of rabbit Hole Radioon KXFM one four seven. I'm grateful
you chose to spend this hour withme. It was a fun one today

(54:34):
and we're going to go out witha contemporary song from Sam Fender. Thanks
for tuning in. See I'm speedyou and the knock Gone very my head

(55:30):
team storming cots all the time calledshifted being like that since here knotted up
with the bage net like the stone, all sounds just like you, smashing

(55:55):
cops off the floor, the kickingwallst that's meaning you. I can don't
do anyone, I can don't doanyone. I can't talk to you.

(56:16):
I can don't do anyone, Ican don't do anyone, can't talk to
you. You dis afore and theone like the top, the more than

(56:37):
forced one suit went through and thenever seen you like that spoon you heard
me right through because he was alove and the it's agony, every bit

(56:58):
of me, her hurting for you. There's one day that your friend,
I'm kissing and I still do giveexactly like you. And I can don't
do anyone. I can don't doanyone. I can't talk to you.

(57:24):
