Speaker 1 (00:04):
Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come. Turn your devices
to the maximum volume, sit back, relax, and let's get
Ready to Retra.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Happy holidays everybody. It is episode two oh five of
the Ready to Retro podcast. My name is Max. I
am your host, and what does for the very first
time is a special guest with us. His name is
Dustin Tucker. You might know him from TikTok and on
social media at Limestone Picker, but he is a huge
Adam Sandler fan and I can't wait to talk about
(01:02):
Adam Sandler and specifically Eight Crazy Nights. But justin thank
you so much for being on Ready to Retro.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Thank you for having me.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
All right, So this is your first podcast ever.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
This is like I told you before, I've recorded one
with some buddies that were doing it, but they never
did anything with it, so I kind of have a
feel for how it goes.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
But thank you. It is such an honor to have
you on here and this is your first podcast experience.
This is awesome. But tell us a little bit about
your collection and what you do on social media.
Speaker 4 (01:40):
So, like you said, my name is Dustin. I go
a Limestone picker on everything, Instagram, YouTube, all that, I'm
pretty sure I have the world's largest Adam Sandler collection.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
Other than okay, other than Judy.
Speaker 4 (01:52):
Sandler, because I'm pretty sure she has all these props
from throughout the years.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
But I have accumulated blot collection.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Wow. Do you know how many DVDs you have or
anything like that around? Roughly around how many you have.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
As far as like individual variants?
Speaker 4 (02:14):
Probably I don't know one hundred, but doubles probably fifteen
hundred to two thousand.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Oh my, that's wild. It makes me think of are
you familiar with the like Titanic collector guy that's on tick? Yeah,
So have you had any correspondence with him?
Speaker 3 (02:33):
So, Titanic fan ninety seven.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
He actually saw one of my tiktoks and commented on it,
and I was like, oh my god, you're the guy
that pretty much inspired all this.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
So yeah, I thought that was pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Okay, So has your collection been relatively recent or like,
how did this start?
Speaker 4 (02:54):
So it pretty much started around January this year. Like
I've always collected Adam Sandler. My mom was big into
Essenel when I was a kid, so we.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Had a couple of the movies when I was growing up.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
But it got to the point where I was going
out thrifting and looking for stuff and I would just
like not find anything every time that I went. So Lee,
TCG and Titanic fan ninety seven Comfort Cartoons, they would
buy every SpongeBob movie, Shrek, Titanic, and.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
I was like, you know, I love Adam Sandler.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
I've always loved Adam Sandler, and if I was gonna
collect every movie of somebody, I think it would have
to be Adam Sandler.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
So it pretty much started as a thing where if
I don't.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
Find anything of the three store, I'm bound to find
an Adam Sandler movie. I would go to three stores.
It started with one episode of the Channel. I was
just like, I bought every Adam Sandler movie at nine
thrift stores, and wow took off from there.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
That's awesome. And for our listeners who are listening to
this and not seeing it, I mean, in the background
of Dustin it is head to toe of just Adam
Sandler DVDs. So I can contest to that he's got
a lot of them. So tell me about this, like
fascination with Adam Sandlor. Tell me why you're such a
big fan. What is it about Adam Sailor specifically.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Well, when I was really young, my mom would put
on like Dumb and Dumber on VHS and there's footage
of me sitting on the couch, just zoned in to the.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
TV, and you hear Jim Kerey.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
In the background flirting with the girl at the start
of the movie and she's trying to get my attention
and she just can't do it. And it was always
like that with Gumb and Dumber, Billy Madison, Big Debbie, Like,
I've always been able to watch those movies over and
over and over again and never get tired of them.
So Adam Sandler's just been the one constant my entire law.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Yeah, no, definitely, And for our listeners, I think if
you've been listening for a while, you know that Adam
Sandler is like that's my guy, Like that's my favorite comedian.
Like growing up, I went through this like fascination, especially
being like in middle school and discovering his albums that
was like opening up a whole other door. I'm sure
(05:24):
we could talk a little bit about his albums, but
there was something about Adam Sandler in particular, and it
was like I watched him, you know, when they came out.
I was born in ninety, so you know, they like
especially Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore. That was like mid nineties,
and then once like Big Daddy came out, I was
starting like I was like peak time for those movies
(05:47):
to come out, you know, and Billy Madison, like I
used to watch it all the time. It's like very
middle school kind of late nineties. If you're a male,
it was like a part for you. These movies were
made for you.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
Well A touching on the albums, like I said, my mom,
she she loved that. I'm saying that when I was
really little, and I remember she had she had Standing
Judy's Kid on CD.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
And she had what's your Name? Okay, yeah, Standing Judy's Kid.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
I would take it from my mom and I had
a disc man that I'd take on the school bus
and listen to the People and Hot.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Water Burned Baby on repeat.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
I love Stand and Jeddie's Kid all that, Like that
is one of the greatest albums ever.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Yeah, I know, it's it's funny. Uh I actually I
don't care A out a little later, but she don't tell.
Yeah it was that was pretty good and that I
remember the high school when that came out.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
I don't know if you've noticed, but like in his
Netflix uh stand up Specials, he started doing like the
end of it, he had the true the fall in
the New when he has the tribute to comedy, but
he actually started that own Don't Tell with stamon An.
That was the last song on the album and it
(07:10):
was more serious moment.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
I love that song. That is a great song.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Yeah, definitely. Yeah. So man, there's so much to talk about.
I think we're just gonna have to like ring it
in a little bit because we can ramble for hours there.
I know that it just means that you gotta come
on for another episode as we get into I mean, dude,
I could do a whole Adam Sandler for sure. All right,
(07:37):
so let's do this. We have the hot Seat. It's
something that we do with every one of our guests.
We put them in the hot seat and it's just
random questions. Because you are a huge Adam Sandler fan,
they are all gonna be Adam Sandler related questions, all right, Dustin,
So this is gonna be awesome. All right, So here
is the hot Seat with Dustin and we'll start in
(07:58):
three one Jessen. What is your favorite Adam Sandler movie
of all time?
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Billy Madison?
Speaker 2 (08:08):
All right? What is your favorite Adam Sandler snl skit
oh Man?
Speaker 3 (08:18):
Probably the Hanica song on Weakend?
Speaker 2 (08:20):
That b all right? What is your least favorite Adam
Sandler movie?
Speaker 3 (08:27):
Unpopular opinion?
Speaker 4 (08:29):
Most people would say Going Overboard, but I think it
is uncut Jimps.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
Oh wow, yeah, we definitely gotta talk about that one.
All right. Do you have a favorite Adam Sandler line
in a movie?
Speaker 3 (08:43):
Joke's on utef guy, I can't read.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
What do you think is the most underrated Sandler movie?
Speaker 3 (08:53):
Underrated?
Speaker 4 (08:57):
One that I don't think is as bad as everybody
he says it is is.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
Jack and Jill. I think it's not as terrible. All right?
Speaker 2 (09:08):
All right? Uh? Happy Gilmour is about to get a sequel?
Which movie would you want to see a sequel of?
Out of the Adam Sandler filmography.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
I guess I'd have to say Billy Madison. I think
it could.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
It could work, like him coming back with Veronica Vaughan
would be pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
With kids and stuff. Yeah, all right? Last one? What
is one word to describe Adam Sandler?
Speaker 3 (09:40):
He is comedy?
Speaker 2 (09:41):
All right, he is comedy. I like that. All right,
Well that was the hot Seat, So let's get into it.
Favorite Adam Sandler movie, Billy Madison. I share that, But
why for you is that his like peak movie?
Speaker 4 (09:58):
That one, to me is just one that I if
I was deserted on an island, I think that movie
I could have and watch it every day for the
rest of the time and not get.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
Tired of it.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Yeah, there's something about it where it's just it's funny. Man.
It still holds up. There's not a lot of like
cringe moments. Like there's a lot of movies that you watch,
especially comedy, you rewatch and you're like, I don't know
if it holds up. But like for me, Billy Madison,
even if you said it didn't hold up, I'm gonna
say it holds up because it is. It's so funny. Man.
(10:33):
Do you remember the first time you watched that movie?
Speaker 4 (10:36):
I know we had it on VHS when I was
really little, so I was probably.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
Three or four the first time I actually remember watching it.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Okay, yeah, no, I mean it is on my top
four for Letterbox, So that's how much like that movie.
So favorite skit you said the Honkah song. That's a
good one. Tell me about why that one in particular.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
It's probably the one that I've watched the most of.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
As far as I mean, I guess it's more of
a song than a skit. But yeah, there are others
out there, but that's probably my favorite. I think it's
the most well known that he has on SML.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
Yeah. I think for me it would probably be like
maybe the Christmas song, the one where he sings, uh,
there's there's two that he sings, but the one where
he goes uh singing like the song to Santa.
Speaker 3 (11:35):
Yeah, he calls him a fat whore.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Yeah, because you use a big fat whore. Well made
me say that. Yeah, that one, I mean, that's always good.
I love watching the SNL best of Adam Sandler, Like
those are those are so good? And I would say
lunch Lady, but that is more Chris Farley, oh yeah,
than Adam Sandler, Like put them together. I mean, it
(12:00):
was just it was fantastic. I wish we would have
saw more movies with them too, leading and I'm sure
we would have gotten it. I'm sure we would have
gotten that.
Speaker 4 (12:09):
Could you imagine grown ups with Chris Farley instead of
Kevin James, Like that would have been insane.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
It would have been so much better. It would have
been so much better. Okay, so you said uncut gems
for the least favorite Adam Sandler movie. I think for
some that would be their most favorite. Is it because
it's not really an Adam Sandler movie?
Speaker 4 (12:30):
I think it's because when it first came out, I
tried to watch it and I couldn't really get into it.
And when I finally gave it a shot and sat
through it spoiler alert, when I finally got to locking
his character in the movie, they shot him in the
face and that fished me all. So I was like,
y'all made me love him, and then you took him away.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
I think that was the point of it. It was like,
oh man, but that movie just gave me so much anxiety.
The whole time. I was just like, oh my god, like,
this dude's gonna die. This dude's gonna die.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
I want him to do better the entire movie.
Speaker 4 (13:05):
When he finally does that and gives you that like
he finally has his win, it's like, Nope, he didn't.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
Get his win.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
Yeah, no, for for sure, but yeah, that's an interesting take.
I'm not gonna lie because I loved it. I actually
like seeing him in those more dramatic roles. Yeah, I wonder,
Like he said, if he wasn't gonna get nominated, which
she wasn't, he wasn't gonna like he was gonna make
something really bad. So I'm still waiting for that. You know,
(13:34):
he didn make Ridiculous Six. I'm an Adam Sandler movie,
but that for me, I watched that once and I
barely got through it. I'll just be honest. It's not
my favorite.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
I don't mind it, and I have a buddy local
to me.
Speaker 4 (13:47):
He said that he went and saw Little Nicky in
the theaters and he hasn't watched it since he hated
it so much.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
But okay, Little Nicky's great. I love Little Nikki.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
I mean, I just you had your Class six Sandler
fans who some of the movies like that.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Yeah, I love all of his goofy stuff.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
So you said for a sequel that you wanted to
see would be Billy Madison. Billy Madison too, are you
excited for? Well, you're the huge Abams stands, so I'm
sure you're excited for Happy Gilmore two.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I keep tabs on his filmography, and
everybody was sharing the Happy Gilmore Too.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
And I'm like, I'm not getting.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
Behind this until I see that he has setting stone
he's doing it, and he.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
Finally guys he's doing Happy Gilmore Too.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
I can't believe it, and I wonder what it's gonna
be like. But it sounds like there there's a lot
of casts. Sorry, let me serve it. There's a lot
of people who were in the cast and the first
one they're gonna return and reprise the role for this one.
So I'm looking forward to that. Yeah, it's gonna be good.
It's it's another Netflix thing. Do you know when that
(15:00):
Netflix deal is up?
Speaker 4 (15:04):
I'm not sure he's been on a run since the
twenty sixteen night.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
Like what was it like ten exclusive movies, right or
something like that.
Speaker 3 (15:13):
I think so, and it continued to get extended.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
Yeah, probably, especially if this goes well, but I you know,
they always go on Netflix. I would like to see
like an Adam Sandler theatrically released movie. It's been a while,
it's been a long time, but I wonder if you think.
Speaker 4 (15:32):
About Spie Man probably could have done dacent In the
creator Space Man was hard for me to watch.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
It was hard.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
And who be Halloween was was was solid.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
I like that one that could have been. Yeah, that's
my dad's favorites.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Yeah, no, it's good. All right, So let's do this.
Let's take a quick break, and when we come back,
we'll get into eight Crazy Nights. It's the holidays. Got
the biggest Adam Sandler fan with us. You know, I
used to say I'm the biggest, but I am. I
know my place now, so we'll be right back. Listeners,
(16:11):
don't go anywhere the best of all of the lights
one day of presence. Hell no, we get eight crazy nuts.
All right, We are back here with Dustin. He is
the biggest Adam Sandler fan. And as I was saying
(16:33):
before the break, it's hard for me to admit that.
But it's okay. I know where my place is and
I don't have thousands of DVDs behind me like this.
All right, So we're gonna be talking about eight Crazy Nights.
It's the holidays. And to be honest, listeners, a little
behind the scenes, so this was like planned maybe a
(16:54):
few days.
Speaker 5 (16:55):
Ago, so we were this wasn't originally on the schedule,
but I reached out to I was just like, hey,
we gotta get you on the pod, and he's like yeah,
And I was like, I just had this crazy thought,
like I don't know what you're doing in a couple
of days, but looking for one more slot for a
holiday movie.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
So here we are talking about Eight Crazy Nights. So Dustin,
being the big Adam Sandler fan, tell me about your
love for Eight Crazy Nights.
Speaker 3 (17:22):
So I remember when the movie came out.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
Originally we didn't see it in theaters, but my uncle
I think, rented it from movie gallery or Blockbuster wherever,
and we all watched it. Me, my mom, my dad,
my aunt and uncle and.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
I liked it. I loved it.
Speaker 4 (17:42):
I watched it, I think after we watched it in
the living room and we went to sleep that night,
I took it in the bedroom and I watched it again.
So it's one that got away from me after it
first came out. It was probably ten years until I
watched it again. But ever since then it's been a
holiday classic for me.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
Interesting. Yeah, and it's one of the few Honkah movies. Yeah,
there's not a whole lot of Honikkah themed movies. And
I don't even know if this one is themed Honikah,
but whatever, it's called Eight Crazy Nights. I guess that's
That's one of the funny things about It really has
nothing to do with Hankah. It really is just like
(18:24):
a basic holiday movie, which is eight Crazy Nights. They
were trying to sell it with Adam Sandler eight Crazy Nights,
you know the Hanukkah song, but doesn't tell the listeners
if they forgot about this movie, or if they haven't
seen it in a while, or if they've never seen
it before. What is the plot of Eight Crazy Nights?
Speaker 4 (18:45):
So pretty much you have a guy that stayed in
his hometown his entire life, and something tragic happened to him,
and he pretty much lost his joy in every thing
and he became a town drunk. He kept getting arrested.
He finally gets arrested one last time and it is
(19:07):
going to be sentenced to prison for ten years, and
a little guy named Whitey ends up saving him from
prison and he has to ref youth league basketball with Whitey,
who's been doing it for thirty five years, and he
(19:28):
gets his house a trailer burned down, ends up having
a move in with Whitey and his sister who is
also deformed, and it's I guess you could say it's
a coming of age he kind of comes to there.
In the end, the town hates Whitey and they finally
(19:49):
realize they're wrongdoings. But it has a good message. I
guess they finally worked that in there.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
Yeah, well, let's go through the cast, because the cast
is very short, but it's the usual suspects, I should say.
All right, So starring in this movie is Adam Sandler,
and he is basically this entire movie. What I mean
by that is he plays Davy, the main character. He
(20:20):
plays Whitey, the other main character, Whitey's sister, Eleanor, and
he also is some of the voices for the deer.
So really it is Adam Sandler as like a one
man show, and it's very distinct Adam Sandler, I mean
the Whitey voice. It was really this whole movie was
(20:43):
revolved around him specifically. So there is a skit on
the stand in Judy's Kid album that came out a
few years before this movie that was called Whitey and
it's the same voice, and it was just about this
like old guy who liked to go the mall, so
they thought that was great, let's throw a movie around it,
you know. So apparently for Eleanor, they wanted Kathy Bates
(21:08):
to do that, which makes sense because she was in
water Boy. But Adam Sandler says, Kathy Bates, I know,
I know you're a good actress, but let me take
let me take control.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
He said.
Speaker 4 (21:22):
He based it off of his aunt. That was where
he got the idea for.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
Yeah, and her voice is just obnoxious. I mean it's
supposed to be that way, but hity all, like, it's
just so bad. I feel for Davy because I would
lose my mind being with Whitey and Eleanor too, like
that would just if that was your only option there
was like that, or just be homeless out in the snow.
(21:48):
That'd be Uh. That's a hard that's a hard one.
So and the love interest, kind of uh is Jennifer,
who was played by Jackie Sandler, who is Adam Sander.
There's real wife, and I believe they were married by
this time.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
And I think they were still dating.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
They were still dating. Okay, Okay, So that was a
risky move, mister Sandler to put in your girlfriend in this,
you know, but she has a pretty just minor role.
But you know what's crazy is like listening to it,
she sounds so young to me. Oh yeah, yeah, she
sounds like almost like a teenager, like I think she
(22:27):
was in her twenties by then. But yeah, and then
you can't have an Adam Sandler movie without Rob Schneider.
So he plays the Chinese waiter and he's also the narrator. Yeah,
anything you want to talk about, just Rob Schneider and
his relationship with Adam Sandler.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
It's been a rocky one. You know, they had a
fallen out a couple of years ago, and I finally
came back together. I think Rob schneidt which I don't
get into politics. Rob Schneider's politics pretty much separated him
for a little bit. My finally came back together, and
(23:08):
I'm glad they did because they're a great team. I
don't think that Rob Schneidder really would have done anything
that was extraordinary without Adam Sandler.
Speaker 2 (23:18):
So yeah, well he wasn't surf Ninjas, so we had
we had.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
Oh yeah, I forget about that one.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
But what I was gonna say about that is I
recently heard that Rob Schneider I think he went on
a podcast pretty recently, and he said that Adam Sandler
calls him every single day and just checking up on him.
So whether it's like two in the morning or you know,
in the afternoon, but every day Adam Sandler checks in
(23:47):
on Rob Schneider, and Rob Schneider said, like in his
darkest moments, even in times of like you know, comfortablated
to take his own life, it was Adam Sandler who
reminded him, hey, you know people care about you. You
know you're not doing this alone, which I think is
just incredible because you know, that just shows a friend.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
In Hollywood. I think it would be Adam Sandler. Oh yeah, yeah,
he's a great guy.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
He is, and I can I can say I think
I was waiting when to bring us up. I'm sure
some of our listeners know this, but I wanted to
let you know. I actually met Adam Sandler when I
was like thirteen. So I'm in the LA area, and
I just remember it was like a Sunday morning. I
slept over my friend's house. They were watching football. I
(24:38):
really didn't want to get up early. My mom's like, no,
we're gonna have family day. We're gonna go to Malibu.
We're gonna go to this restaurant Paradise Coved. I was like, Mom,
I don't want to do all that, Like, you know,
I'm like thirteen fourteen at the time, and again I'm
a huge Adam Sandler fan at this point. So we're
in this restaurant and my mom comes out of the bathroom.
(25:00):
We're like being waited to go to our seats, and
she goes, guess who's here? And I'm thinking, I don't know,
like my uncle or something, like who do we know
that's here. She's like, Adam Sandler's here. I was like,
no way. She's like yeah, I heard some of the
waitresses talking about in the bathroom and I was like oh.
She's like, you need to go meet him. So I
was like really. So I'm like, you know, thirteen, and
(25:22):
I'm pretty nervous. So I grab a napkin, which I
still have to this day, and I wanted his autographs.
So I took my sister, who's like eight at the time,
and I was like, well, he might say no to me,
but he can't say no to this like little girl,
you know. So he's there with Jackie and what I
remember is that he looked exhausted. And I think this
(25:45):
was during the time he was filming The Longest Yard
or maybe right after it, so that's what I remember.
I remember he looked just beat and exhausted, and I
go up to him and I just go, mister Sandler.
And I know, like even you know, being there teen,
growing up in LA you don't approach a listeners or celebrities.
But he was like my idol at the time, so
(26:07):
of course I had to go up to him. So,
mister Sandler, excuse me, sorry to interrupt you, wonder if
I can have your autograph? And he just turned to me,
and he was so cool and so nice, like the
nicest dude. And you know, his wife was super accommodating,
and she wasn't like yeah, yeah whatever. She was engaging
(26:28):
with my sister and I and you know, he was
talking to us, and you know, he was asking a
little bit about me, and he was he was like
throwing jokes at my sister, not at my sister, but
like to my sister, and he's like, you look crazy,
are you crazy? And my sister's like not in her head,
He's like, ah, you're a crazy little kid. Like he
was just he was awesome. So you mentioned, you know,
(26:50):
he's a good guy. He really like in my one interaction,
he was he was cool. He was cool, Yeah, super cool.
And I always have that memory. I always have that
memory that. And coincidentally, my other Adam Sandler thing was
they were filming Chuck and Larry next to my dad
had this apartment, and that there was like a school
(27:16):
and then the church, and then the church that they
were filming the wedding scene with him and Chuck. They
were using that as a location, and then the school
parking lot was used for the trailers and the crew.
So Adam Sandler was smoking cigars. I saw him smoking cigars.
(27:36):
I'm like on the second story on the balcony, and
his cigar smoke came into our apartment and I just
remember thinking that was like the coolest thing.
Speaker 4 (27:48):
You bring the same Oh, you're right.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
I never thought of it like that, but I just
remember being like, you know, around the same age, maybe
fourteen fifty at this point. It was after I met him.
I was like, oh my god, Adam Sandler's cigar smoke
is there our house. He's basically in our house.
Speaker 4 (28:07):
Friends, then did we.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
Just become best friends? Anyways? All right enough for me
and Adam Sandler medium, but yeah, he is a great guy.
He really is, all right. Going on to the cast,
we have Kevin Nalan who's an SNL alum. He plays
the mayor and it looks just like Kevin Nalan. Oh yeah,
(28:30):
so I love Kevin Elan. I think as far as
like that era. When we talk about the nineties SNL,
we always talk about Spade, you know, of course, Mike
Mars and Dana Carvey, Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, but Kevin
Nealing kind of gets lost in a shuffle, buddy. I
(28:52):
love Kevin Neely, He's hilarious him and Norm McDonald, yes, absolutely,
And Adam Sandler loves both of them. Always gave him
a yeah. Yeah. The judge in this movie is played
by Norm Crosby, another Adam Sandler. I think they had
a fallout, but John levitts didn't they have a fallout
or something.
Speaker 3 (29:14):
I'm not sure, but.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
Yeah, John Levittz, he's like where is he now? You know? Yeah,
nobody talks to about the guy anymore. Basically the rest
of the actors that I'm gonna announce is just they're
basically in this one scene where they're in the mall
and they are all these logos that come to life
(29:36):
and things like that. So but that's basically like the cast.
And really, like I said before, it is Adam Sandler,
what n of this movie? Oh yeah, well probably saved
money on that doing that. But cameos or Tyra Banks,
Blake Clark, who's been in a lot of Adam Sandler movies,
(29:58):
of course, Peter Dante. We have Chris Farley's brother, Kevin Farley.
We have Tom Kenny, who's in this the voice of SpongeBob.
We have the Sprouse brothers, you know because they were
in Big Daddy they played the KB Toy soldiers, and
of course Carl Weathers the usual suspects when it comes
(30:18):
to this cast. So that's the cast. Are there any
kind of behind the scenes things that you know about
this movie?
Speaker 4 (30:26):
I've been watching, Like preparing for this, I've watched as
much behind the scenes as I could. Yeah, there's really
not a lot that you can find, and even on
the extras on the DVD, like it's just storyboard.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
I think it.
Speaker 4 (30:41):
Bombs so bad that they kind of wanted to sweep
it under the rug.
Speaker 3 (30:46):
But yeah, one thing that.
Speaker 4 (30:52):
I did have written down was I was watching some
guy their review of it, and he was saying that
one of the reasons they think the movie did so
bad was it was released the same weekend as Treasure Planet, right,
But the same release that same weekend was Harry Potter
and The Chamber of Secrets. So both of them bombs.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
Yeah, all three that. I mean, that's tough. If you're
I'm Sandler eight Crazy Nights, I would have tried to like, hey,
let's do it the week after or the week before,
do it the week before. You don't want to mess
with the Chamber of Six. And the hype for Harry
Potter was so big at the time, I mean that
was right after first one. So yeah, as far as
(31:36):
like this movie, it was released on November twenty seven,
two thousand and two, so right before the holiday season
really begins, right before Christmas. The budget or should I
say Honukkah. The budget was thirty four million dollars. It
grossed twenty three worldwide, so this was a bomb. U
(32:00):
The opening only made nine million dollars, So, like you know,
Dustin was saying that it was just it wasn't it
wasn't going to succeed if you're going against Harry Potter, the.
Speaker 4 (32:12):
Chambers, I think that a treasure planet. Like their budget
through it, they ended up doing worse than crazy their.
Speaker 2 (32:21):
Budget as far as percentage wise. Yeah, definitely. The director
we should say is uh director Seth Cercely. What's funny
is they didn't really ask for permission for like the
product placements. They just kind of put it in there,
thinking like, hey, we're good. I don't think that would
fly nowadays. I know that there's whole departments. I don't
(32:43):
even think it would fly back then. But somehow all
this product placements because they go into the mall and
it is like your run of the mill, you know,
foot locker, They had KB Toys, radio shacks, so they're
Victoria's secrets. So there's some companies that are still around,
but there's some that are definitely gone.
Speaker 4 (33:05):
So they what they did with that was they contacted
the stores and they didn't want to pay to put
them in there, but if they were just like, sure,
you can put us in the movie. They put them
in the movie. Because they wanted it to feel like
an actual year at the mall. They didn't want to
have generic stores all the way over, so I did
say that.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
Yeah, And at the time this was supposed to be
a Sony's Pictures movie, but they didn't want to participate
in like animation, and they thought that it was just
a big risk. So the chief of Columbia Pictures, Amy Pascal,
she grin let the movie because she heard the pitch
(33:47):
for Madam Sandler. But she also loved the skit of
Whitey on the album stand in Judy's Kids. So I
thought that was interesting that like Adam Sandler's songs and
albums were well known within the entertainment business. Yeah, I know,
have you seen that interview with Howard Stern with him
(34:10):
this was a few years I think, like twenty eighteen
where they're talking about at a medium pace.
Speaker 4 (34:16):
I've seen him, like clips of him on Howard Stern,
but I don't think I've seen what you're talking about.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
It's funny, it's Howard Stern. I guess is A is
a big fan of that song at a medium pace
and they're like breaking it down, they're like listening it together,
and you know, they're like commenting as they're listed and
Adam Sandler being Adam Sandler's just like yep, like straightforward
he's he's not a guy who like is super boastful,
at least not in public, you know. And it's just
(34:44):
so funny because like I could tell Howard Stern wants
to like pull a little bit, like tell me a
little bit more of this, and you know, Adam Sandler's
just like, you know, if she wants to, that's we'll
do it at a medium piece. So it's it's a
great video if you can find it on YouTube. But
uh yeah, I mean, I guess when it comes to
the animation, they wanted it to have this feel of
(35:08):
the holidays, but apparently they also with the basketball aspects
of it. And Whitey is a coach, like that's also
part of his character, and we didn't mention that there's
also kind of a cameo in Little Nikki Dana Carvey
he's Whitey as well. So I guess they wanted to
do animation so they can make Adam Sandler look a
(35:29):
little younger and he can actually be like convincing playing basketball.
He's good, he is good. He is good. Oh yeah,
I mean, who is it Shack that said like out
of all the celebrities he's played against, like Adam Sandler
actually has game.
Speaker 4 (35:48):
Well, he actually he talked like the interview I think
you've seen the same one that I have where he
said that they could give him his body back when
he was nineteen, when he was a Stallion. Around that
time when he started wearing those baggy clothes, he was
kind of trying to hide the fact that.
Speaker 3 (36:03):
He was shredded.
Speaker 4 (36:04):
Yeah, and then it eventually got to where he was
in his forties and was gaining weight. So I thought
that was interesting that he said that when he was
actually like in pretty good shape of yeah. Yeah, not
had a six pack.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
But he looks alid. I mean he was what maybe
in his early thirties at that point, but yeah, he was.
He was fine, dude, he looks he looks good. Oh,
I should say, and I'm just ranting at this point,
but have you heard of, like nowadays, high schoolers do
Adam Sandler Day for like Spirit Week and stuff. Have
(36:38):
you heard of this dressed like Adam Sandler?
Speaker 3 (36:40):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (36:42):
But I can imagine that, man, a pretty fun thing.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
Okay. So it's interesting because like I used to work
with youth and she was a senior at the time,
and I was like, so you have Spirit Week, Like,
what are the different days. She's like, yeah, pajama days,
you know, superhero days, Adam Sandler day. I was like, oh,
Adam Sandler, that's awesome. Like, are you gonna dress up
like Happy Gilmore Billy Madison? And she was looking at
(37:05):
me like I was from a different world, a different planet.
She goes, no, we're just wearing like big clothes, and
I was like, oh no, like the actual as I
thought it was like dressed up like an Adam Saylor character.
That would have been so much better. Oh yeah, it's
funny that Adam Taylor has his own you know, outfit now,
(37:27):
his own style, his own style.
Speaker 4 (37:30):
I've adopted the style big T shirts as much as
I think.
Speaker 2 (37:36):
For me it's the big polo that always makes the
big bright colored polos.
Speaker 3 (37:42):
I've got a couple of those.
Speaker 2 (37:43):
Haw I got rid of mine because of my wife.
We love our wives. The way that they cut costs
because this was an expensive project, was they outsourced a
lot of the animation. So there was a crew that
(38:05):
was in Arizona one in La one and was it
Finland or Denmark? It was in a scanning even country.
So you know, this is pre like file shares and
all that great stuff that we do that makes it
so much easier now. But it's kind of remarkable it
being like two thousand and two thousand and one that
(38:25):
all these different animation studios were able to come together
and to make this movie. And apparently, you know, if
you're looking at it and you're saying, hey, this looks
a lot like The Iron Giant as far as animation,
it's because a lot of those animators were recently fired
(38:46):
from DreamWorks and they did work on The Iron Giant.
So go Adam Sandler for employing people who were just fired.
All Right, So let's take a break and when we
get back, we'll give our review, and Dustin's gonna tell
you why he loves this movie so much. All Right,
we'll be right back. All right, we are back here
(39:14):
on Radio Retchel. We were talking about Eight Crazy Nights,
and I'm here with Dustin. All right, Dustin, why eight
Crazy Nights? Why do you like this movie? What do
you like about this movie?
Speaker 4 (39:27):
I mean, it's it's obviously a fun holiday movie, but
it's also different. I think it out of any animated
holiday movie, it's got.
Speaker 2 (39:38):
To be my favorite, really, Okay.
Speaker 4 (39:40):
It is definitely in my top ten or top five,
like actual Christmas movie Christmas holiday movies.
Speaker 2 (39:46):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (39:46):
Okay, so but yeah, I got over.
Speaker 4 (39:50):
I've never really been that big into Peanuts stuff like that.
So I went back and watched Frosty the Snowman, and
I was like, this just isn't it.
Speaker 3 (39:59):
But I go back, I can watch it crazy hot,
and I'm like, I love this.
Speaker 5 (40:04):
I love how big of a fan you are right now,
Like it's it's almost needs to be studied, dude.
Speaker 2 (40:13):
I love it. I love it. I love it so much.
You're like, nah, forget Rosy, give me Eight Crazy Nights,
give me the deers that just are dumping all over
the snow and stuff. Yeah. I mean this movie, it's
(40:37):
one of the things that it gets as big as criticism,
and I think they never really landed as far as
like normal non Adam Sandler fans goes. It's like they
were trying to find this line between how do we
make it an Adam Sandler movie but also a holiday movie.
They were trying to get like the family viewers, but
(41:00):
we already established they were watching Harry Potter or probably
Treasure Planet, and so they weren't gonna watch, you know,
Eight Crazy Nights. But I guess in screenings they were
wanted to cut some of the more gross things out,
but that's what got the biggest laughs.
Speaker 3 (41:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
So yeah, So you have this like tone where like
at some points and watching it, I think this is
the first time I've watched it as an adult. There's
a little more sentiment. There's more feelings that I was
feeling in this viewing, especially like with Whitey, like Davi's
is he's a dick. I mean, he's just yeah, that's
(41:39):
That's one of the interesting aspects is for the majority
of the movie, and it's kind of like Scrooge, you
just you don't like Davy at all. At what point
for you are you just like I'm done with this guy, Davy.
Speaker 4 (41:54):
I heard somebody actually their point of view of what
happens with Davy, and I mean Davie's finally come around.
They go to the size skating rink and Eleanor asks
him what happened to him, And after Davey told Whitey
multiple times, I don't want to talk about it, I'm
(42:16):
not ready to talk about it, why he continues to
tell her. So, I mean, viewing it from that standpoint,
like I don't think Davy was that big of a
dick for going off on Whitey.
Speaker 2 (42:28):
Right, that's interesting, yeah, because that was like his story
to tell and yeah, yeah, and white he just tells
it flippantly. Oh that's interesting and think about that. Yeah,
it's yeah, no, yeah, And I never give spoiler warnings
here because you know, the movie's over twenty years old,
(42:49):
so if you haven't watched it yet, that's on you.
Uh but uh, Davy's parents ended up passing away in
a really tragic way. They're on their way to go
see and play basketball and they pass away in it's
like really gruesome. They don't show it, but they're like, yeah,
they went head on with a car. You know, it's like,
(43:10):
good lord, but that kind of guilt that you would feel,
especially as a thirteen year old, and then you're basically
an orphan, not basically you are an orphan. So he
went to the foster system, and you know, it's totally believable,
and you could see the probably the pain and that
(43:31):
time of year in which Davie's experiencing. It's like, yeah,
I for me, like there's a more of emotional aspect
to this movie. And I think if they were to
make it now, they probably could have emphasized it a
little bit, it would just be different. I think at
the time they were just probably stuck in the container
(43:54):
of like this needs to be an Adam Sandler movie,
or this, this or that. But I think as movies
have a vault, you could have comedy and serious themes.
Now I feel like they've they've done it better in
this way, which is kind of like funny people. It's
kind of that kind of vibe too. Yeah, what are
some of your favorite scenes in this movie?
Speaker 4 (44:20):
I haven't really thought about that. Favorite scenes in the
movie when when he when they're playing basketball right before
Adam Sandler and the kid beat him, but Waddy gets
the basketball thrown in his face and he says soft
peaty because Adam Sandler sticks his hands down his pants.
Speaker 3 (44:40):
Uh, that's a good one. I'm not really sure. I
haven't really given that a lot of thought. I just
kind of like the whole you like it mostly Whiti scenes.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
Yeah, there's certain scenes for me when I think about it,
And like I said, I haven't seen this probably fifteen
years at least, probably more than that. But like when
they're stretching and Sailor's just giving the bird like, all right,
that's great, don't forget to stretch whatever he says to
(45:10):
your hammies or whatever. Like, there's just certain things like
that that just cracked me up.
Speaker 4 (45:16):
I'm not the one they when around the same time
that the the kiddy thing when they did end up
losing and it cuts to the big guy that they
get his jock strap.
Speaker 3 (45:27):
He goes, why did you eat that? I think that's
that gets me every time.
Speaker 2 (45:33):
Oh, for sure, there's little things like that, You're like,
this is an Adam Sandler humor for sure, or yeah,
even the fact that he goes, yeah, but if we win,
you have to eat that guy's jock right, And it's
always like poking fun at somebody, you know, like it's
such Adam Sandlor humor. Like two and tea. They also
(45:54):
with the with the animation I mentioned it, but they
get a little grosser, like when the kids are laughing
and you know, like buggers are coming out, that's coming out.
This is nasty. They're definitely like amp the level of grossness.
The other aspect I was thinking is, uh, this is
the first time that I know what a scorpion bowl was,
(46:16):
So I didn't know what that was. You know, in
the very beginning where Davy drinks four scorpion bowls, and
as someone who's had a scorpion bowl and you're supposed
to like share it with like at least three to
four people, he had four. I was like, oh, wow, Yo,
that dude is freaking drunk. He is gone. The animation
(46:40):
in this is really great. Actually you want to mention
anything about that, It just comment on the on the
actual animation.
Speaker 4 (46:47):
I mean, yeah, they couldn't get too detailed with it,
and I think they do a good job of, like
you knowing that that is Adam Sandler, that is Davy.
But they even said when they were making the movie,
they candlelt got a feeling that Davy and Adam worth
the same person at all. And I'd honestly forgotten about
(47:07):
it being a lot of the people that worked on
Iron Giant. But now you say it, the Kid and
the Kid and the Iron Giant, they look a lot,
a lot, a lot.
Speaker 2 (47:17):
Yeah. Yeah, Like the animation is almost like cutting Peace.
Speaker 3 (47:21):
You know, Benjamin could be the kid from the Iron Joint,
Oh for sure.
Speaker 2 (47:26):
Well it makes sense because you know, Iron Drank came
out in ninety nine and they started this movie in
two thousand. It was going to be Rush for two
thousand and one, but I guess Columbia looked at it
and it was like, hey, we'll give you more money.
You know, Let's give it another year and get the
animation really well, because at the end there's certain things
(47:48):
that you could see where it kind of got rushed,
like at the end at the end scene where the
animation there's the whole room is supposed to be dancing,
but it's only like the forefront, not the background. Yeah.
The one thing we haven't mentioned is that this is
a musical. It's a musical being Adam Sandler, of course
(48:08):
being the animation. Of course. Is there a song that
you like playing around this time of year or that
you really like.
Speaker 4 (48:19):
I'm gonna be honest with you. I could listen to
this with any other Adam Sandler stuff year round.
Speaker 2 (48:24):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (48:26):
I think my favorite one only album that I sing
in my head constantly is the bumb Beat Beaty Bum.
Speaker 3 (48:35):
Well, it's stuck in my head all the time.
Speaker 2 (48:39):
It's great for me. It's that's a technical foul.
Speaker 4 (48:45):
I love the part of the Bomb Babie song where
he says, I wonder if that guy ever wipped his
ass with the wrong hand, right.
Speaker 2 (48:56):
Yeah, there's just little things like that where it's like, yeah,
Adam Saylor, it's perfect, like this perfect Adam Sandler comedy.
Speaking of I know that Adam Sandler was touring. Did
you have a chance to see him tour?
Speaker 3 (49:12):
A buddy of mine saw him when he did the tour.
Speaker 4 (49:18):
Okay, I was not able to. I wish I would have.
I think they saw him in Nashville. That was as
close as he came to us. Okay, yeah I missed
that one.
Speaker 2 (49:27):
Yeah, and you're in Alabama, so he should just say, yeah,
I missed him. What would happened? Yeah? I missed him too.
I was I think out of town the year he
was he was toured, it was last year. I forget
what I think. I think it was that same tour,
one hundred percent fresh, and I'm kicking myself for it.
Like the next time he's in I'm like, we got
(49:49):
to see it. He had some random one in LA
and it was like just like a one off and
I missed it. I was pissed too. I was like,
damn it. But that's one of the things I want
a bucket list. I want to see Adam Sandler live.
You know, if he ever did stand up at a
random comedy club out of here, I would just lose
my mind, you know. But that's definitely like one of
(50:12):
the things that I do want to experience. But uh,
what is the one? I forget what song it was,
but it's all three of them singing all at the
same time.
Speaker 4 (50:22):
Oh my god, that's whenever they're in the living room,
the ending of the technical foul song.
Speaker 2 (50:28):
Okay, yeah, yeah, you're right, yeah, yeah, So just just
having Adam Sandler sing like harmonies and it's just all
three parts. What a talented man, this Adam Sandler is.
Speaker 4 (50:44):
I think the funniest part of that song is whenever
he says something about his morning erection, he tells him
that's a technical foul and Eleanor is like, but I'd
like to see it anyway.
Speaker 2 (50:55):
I'd like to see it anyway. It's funny, so let's
talk about it. The does it bother you at all?
I mean, you're you can't say anything bad, so I'm
sure it doesn't. But this movie doesn't revolve around Honkah
at all. It's just the season, I guess, and it's just.
Speaker 3 (51:17):
It does Christmas right, Yeah, So it's just.
Speaker 2 (51:23):
I think it's just a feel good movie, you know,
with with deers, and as I say, the deers, I
just think of the the literal ship eating grin, you know,
it's like the literal the poostcle. Yeah, they don't really
establish it, but I would like to hear a backstory
(51:44):
of why Whitey can talk to the to the deers.
It's almost like snow White esque.
Speaker 3 (51:51):
Like is he out there have a lot of trouble?
Speaker 2 (51:56):
Are they easy out there frolicking with them like in
the spring or something like? Yeah, all right. The one
thing I did want to mention is that Roger Ebert
said that he didn't like the movie Surprise Surprise. But
that's okay because we tend to bring Roger Ebert on
(52:18):
this podcast a lot. As you know, Cisco and Ebert
are the the quote unquote like mecca of movie reviewers
and things like that. But he said that the holidays
aren't very cheerful in Sandlerville, so he didn't like this.
Forget you, Robert Ebert, I mean, you know, rip, but
we liked it growing up, right, just we like this movie.
(52:41):
Oh yeah, all right, do you know how many copies
of a Crazy Nights you have.
Speaker 4 (52:49):
Including it was in a combo pack. I've probably got
ten to fifteen maybe.
Speaker 2 (52:56):
Hell yeah, that's awesome.
Speaker 3 (52:58):
I don't have one on v I'm still looking for.
Speaker 2 (53:00):
That, okay, okay, so you're selling the Hunt for that listeners.
If you have an extra one, you know where. So, uh,
it's interesting because it's so crazy how things get released nowadays,
as far as like there are still movies that you
can stream and watch in the theater. So the VHS
(53:21):
and the two disc edition of the DVDs wasn't released
till November four, two thousand and three, which was almost
an entire year after the fact, so you just wouldn't
see that now. And I in reading, I forgot about
the short film A Day with the Meatball, So that
was Adam Sandler's his beloved dog back in the day.
(53:45):
And I remember just going on Adamsandler dot com as
a kid. Do you remember all the Do you remember
going on on there and seeing all the shorts with
him and Meatball? Did you watch those back in the day?
Speaker 3 (53:56):
So I remember there being some of those included on
up there.
Speaker 4 (54:01):
But I actually did not know about adamsander dot com
until I started preparing for this podcast, and Addison has
a YouTube channel with all those clips on them.
Speaker 3 (54:13):
So yeah, I watched a couple of them.
Speaker 2 (54:15):
Yeah, I remember watching them like in the early two
thousands when they were released, and you know, the quality
was horrible, but they you know, it just felt like, oh,
this is so cool, Like it was a different side
of Adam Sandler, and it was you know, him and
Meatball and that dog man. As far as like famous dogs,
he's a famous dog that. Oh yeah, yeah, all right, Well,
(54:38):
we're gonna take our last break, and when we come back,
we're gonna give our final thoughts and our rating for
eight crazy and eights don't go anywhere. I walk around
with my morning erection.
Speaker 3 (54:50):
Jections, but I'd like to see an Annie Why just kidding?
Speaker 2 (55:02):
All right, we are back here with Dustin. He has
the biggest Adam Sandler collection, and we are gonna give
our final thoughts and we're gonna give our ratings. The
way that we do our rating system here on Ready
to Retro is we give it out of ten. But
we don't do stars. We don't do you know, a
number system. What we do is we put it out
(55:23):
of a noun. So, for example, if we were reviewing
let's say Billy Madison, we would give it ten out
of ten Revolting Blob or something like that. So I'll
go first. So final thoughts. You know, it's been a
long time since I've watched this movie. As far as
(55:44):
like Adam Sandler movies, I think this one gets kind
of forgotten. If you haven't seen it, watch it. It
is definitely like middle school humor. Is it like the
criteria of holiday movies? Probably not, But you know what
it is somewhat loosely a Honica movie. So if you're like, hey,
(56:08):
I want to watch a Honica movie, eight Crazy Nights,
do it. But yeah, there's some chuckles there, especially if
it's been a while since you've seen it. Watch it.
It's got that typical you know Adam Sandler late nineties,
early two thousands humor. You know he's kind of censored
himself a little bit as gotten older and you know,
(56:29):
doing things with his kids. Now, this is pre being married,
this is pre kid So it's a little raunchy and
a little juvenile and love it. So I will give
Eight Crazy Nights a solid seven out of ten. Furry
whitey Bodies, I'm not here no, yeah, all right. Tested
(56:56):
final thoughts and rating for eight Crazy Nights.
Speaker 4 (57:00):
If you're as crazy as I am and you love
anything Adam Sandler touches, then this is probably gonna be
one of your favorite holiday movies. And if so, uh,
if you haven't watched it, I agree you need to
watch it. I pretty much agree with everything that you said.
(57:20):
It is kind of been swept under the rug. It's
free on YouTube if anybody wants to watch it.
Speaker 3 (57:27):
That's where I've been streaming it. But it's as well,
is it?
Speaker 2 (57:31):
Yeah, I watched it on TV.
Speaker 3 (57:33):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (57:35):
It's hard for me not to give Adam Sandler movie
not ten out of ten.
Speaker 2 (57:41):
I go with your hurt and give it a ten,
give it a ten.
Speaker 4 (57:45):
I'll give it a nine and a half out of ten.
Very little whitey Bodies, all.
Speaker 2 (57:50):
Right, you want to get Yeah, definitely the whitey Bodies. Well, Jesse,
was so awesome to have you on here. Well, definitely
whenever we talk Avam Sandler, you already have a seat
at the conversation. But for those who are looking for
your content and your collection, where can they find you?
Speaker 4 (58:14):
I'm at Limestone Picker own everything that I'm on anyway,
So you're wondering search Limestone Picker and I'll be on
there right.
Speaker 2 (58:23):
And apparently TikTok is going away in January, so if
you follow dustin In on TikTok, make sure that you
follow him and other stuff because he's still going to
be creating content and things. Yeah. I mean, I'm looking
at behind you, man, I see click there, I see
Little Nikki, I see water Boy. There are so many
(58:45):
movies we need to discuss, so wedding singer, like, I've
only talked about two movies so far, and I feel
like that's a crime. We have album reviews we can do.
We have you know, SNL skits or so much. I mean,
there could be a whole Adam Sandler podcast. But anyways,
next week, listeners, we will be continuing our holiday extravaganza.
(59:10):
We are gonna be reviewing Home Alone too. I also
dropped a bonus episode with my wife, Jasmine. We talked
about our travels, our recent travels. We took a Amtrak
train from LA to Boston and we tell of our trip.
But we also give tips if you're interested in that,
so make sure you check that out. And then I
think we're just gonna end it there for this year
(59:33):
and then in twenty twenty five, which sounds like the
freaking future. Crazy that we're in a quarter century of
this Milania already, but we are gonna be talking about
our favorite movies that came out in twenty twenty four.
