here, and Lord God, wejust thank you even now, Lord for
this opportunity just to share with allof these listeners your people, the people
that you've created, your sons anddaughters, Lord God, whom you designed
a plan and a purpose for,and Lord God, we just have to
(01:11):
speak to their lives right now inJesus' name. Amen. Well, listen,
thanks again, people for allowing meto come. Yes, it's a
great opportunity for me. I justI'm so honored that you would even tune
in and listen to what I believethat the spirit of the Lord is getting
ready to say to you. Andlisten, we just want to be in
continuance of a previous podcast. Maybeyou've listened to it before. It's called
(01:37):
the Tongue a Creative Force. Thetongue a creative force, and this is
part two of that. And listen, We're just I just want to talk
to you a little bit about thatand just let you know that your mouth
has gotten you where you are, believe it or not. We're here to
talk about the power of your words. The power of your words. The
(02:02):
Scripture tells us in Proverbs eighteen twentyone eighteen twenty and verse twenty one,
it says, a man's belly shallbe satisfied with the fruit of his mouth,
and with the increase of his lipsshall he be filled. First twenty
(02:22):
one says this death and life arein the power of the tongue, and
they that love it shall eat thefruit thereof Did you hear that it says
that a man's belly shall be satisfiedwith the fruit of his lips, the
fruit of his mouth, and withthe increase of his lips shall he be
(02:45):
filled. And then it goes onto say that death and life are in
the power of the tongue, andthey that love it shall eat the fruit.
Thereof my friends, listen, thereare there is a destiny. There's
two destinies really that sept for you. But the Lord has actually put before
(03:06):
you today death and life, blessingand cursing. And then he says,
choose life, because we get socaught up and really get so we're so
accustomed and brainwashed to talk a certainway. But a lot of times,
(03:28):
you know, if we're not talkingthe right things, if we're not speaking
the right things, our lives actuallytravel down the same road that our mouths
take us. Our mouths actually steerour life's direction, just like uh.
And we're gonna get there in theBook of James. But it's gonna tell
us, you know, how ourlives, or how our tongues control our
(03:53):
lives and control our destinies. Soyou, actually, my friend, have
been given the power to determ whatis your destiny. And you have the
power because you've been created in theimage and likeness of God, and so
tonight I just want to try toshine the light on the real you,
(04:16):
the real me, the real me, because so many people have gotten caught
up in woe is me. They'vegotten caught up in you know, being,
you know, the being influenced bytheir surroundings, by their environment,
the way that they were raised andsuch and such. But tonight, my
(04:36):
friend, I want to encourage you, you know, to look deeper,
because there's a person on the insideof you, really a giant that's really
wanting to come out. You're aking. You've been created in the image
and the likeness of God. That'sthe real you, And that's the person
(04:57):
we're trying to contact tonight and theperson that we're speaking to. And if
you would catch on, if youwould catch the revelation of what I'm about
to share with you tonight, I'mgonna tell you that your life will never
be the same if you apply theprinciples that I'm gonna be speaking to you
today. So so back to Proverbseighteen twenty one twenty and twenty one,
(05:19):
A man's belly shall be filled withthe fruit of his mouth and with the
increase of his lips, shall hebe filled. Death and life are in
the power of your tongue, ofmy tongue. Death and life are in
the power of our tongues. Andthey that love it shall eat the fruit
(05:43):
thereof yes. And that person thateven they that love it. That means
you, if you love what you'resaying, you're gonna eat your own fruit.
You're gonna eat the fruit that you'vespoken, whether it's death or life.
And I'm here to tell you todaythat you've been given the power just
like you were created in the imageof God and likeness of God. Because
at the beginning God, in thebeginning, God said. In the beginning,
(06:09):
God said, let there be light. In the beginning, God said,
and God spoke several verses in Genesisone says, and God said,
and even the whole Bible itself isGod's word to us. So he speaks
to us, and his word hasbeen spoken. And eternity is well,
(06:32):
yes, eternity, and creation iswriting on the wings, is writing on
the wind, and the power ofGod's word. His word even says that
the worlds are upheld by the wordof His power. And my friend,
you've been given that same ability tospeak into your life and to paint your
(06:55):
world with your very own tongue shapethe words. But you can't see the
words that's coming out of your mouth, but when you speak them their spirit
there are invisible, But there're seedsthat actually get implanted into the atmosphere.
And there are despotisms, which isfallen angels and even righteous angels that will
(07:19):
capture your words and bring your lifeinto what you just spoke. Yes,
it's true, whether whether or notyou believe it or not, it's true.
We speak our own destiny. SoI'm here to talk to you about
the tongue being a creative force.Let's look at the Book of James.
(07:41):
Let's see what it says. Jamesthe third chapter, James the third chapter,
and we'll begin. Let's just readit. Let's just read it,
and we'll begin at the first verse. It says, my brethren, be
not many masters, knowing that weshall receive the greater condemnation. For in
(08:05):
many things we offend all. Ifany man offend not in word, the
same as a perfect man, andable also listen to this to bridle the
whole body. Verse three says, behold, we put bits in the horse's
mouths. Y'all know those little bitsthat steer the horse, that they may
(08:30):
obey us, And we turn abouttheir whole body. A strong, a
strong horse. You know, wecan turn him, and we could command
him and steer him whichever way wewant to go. We want him to
go, we turn his whole body. Verse four. Behold also the ships,
which though they be so great, are driven of fierce winds. Yet
(08:54):
are they turned about with a verysmall helm, that little thing on the
tail end of the ship that turnsthat long ship, these oil tankers,
and you know, big cargo shipsand all that. There's a little there's
a little thing called the helm thatthat ship is steered by on the back
(09:15):
of it, and wherever the governorwants it to go. Verse five.
Even so, listen to this,Listen carefully. The tongue is a little
member and boasts great things. Beholdhow great a matter a little fire kindles,
just like if you strike a match, it can set a whole forest
(09:37):
on fire. And the tongue isa fire. Listen to this a world
of iniquity, so is the tongueamong our members, that it defiles the
whole body and sets on fire thecourse of nature and is set on fire
of hell. So did you hearthat the tongue sets on fire the course
(10:01):
of nature? And let me giveyou an example of that. You'll say,
oh, I'm gonna go to themall in about forty five minutes.
I'm gonna go to the mall ina couple hours. And guess what happens
in a couple hours if nothing elsegets in the way. Guess what you're
going to the mall. The thingsthat you say that you're gonna do.
(10:22):
And even like if you say,oh, man, it's supposed to rain
tomorrow, the weather's gonna be badtomorrow. I already know because I can
feel it in my bones. It'sgonna be bad. If you say something
like that, guess what's gonna happentomorrow, You're gonna be hurting tomorrow.
It's gonna be bad weather tomorrow. It's gonna be bad because you said it's
(10:46):
bad. But I call rain liquidsunshine. Liquid sunshine. We need the
rain. If you didn't have therain, you know, we would be
complaining. And so so I'm justtelling to give you a small example of
how we use our tongues. Youknow, our tongues actually determine how we're
(11:07):
gonna feel. It determines whether we'regonna get a parking spot, whether we're
gonna get a position. It determinesthis or that. And so if you
say negatively, oh, man,I know that my ship ain't never gonna
come in, or say something whenyou speak negative, guess what. There
are despotisms in the atmosphere that willcapture your words and bring that to pass.
(11:30):
You won't get your ship, won'tcome in, your bounty, your
blessing won't come in. But ifyou speak blessing, if you speak what
God says, guess what's gonna happen. The angels of the Lord are gonna
harken to the word of God andbring to pass what you say. I'm
gonna show you in a minute. And so listen, and let's look at
(11:50):
this. For every kind of beasts, it's the verse seven in James three.
It says, for every kind ofbeast, and the birds, and
of serpents, and of the andof things in the sea is tamed,
and had been tamed, of mankind. Even lions have been tamed by mankind.
But the tongue can no man tameit. Is it is an unruly
(12:16):
evil full of deadly poison. Withthat same tongue we bless God, even
the Father. And with that sametongue curse we curse men which are made
after the similitude or the image ofGod. Out of the same mouth proceeds
blessing and cursing anybody guilty of thatmy broth, and these things ought not
(12:39):
so to be? Does a fountainsend forth at the same place sweet water
and bitter? Can a fig tree, my brothn bear olive olive berries?
Either of a vine? Can itbear figs? So can no fountain both
(13:00):
yield salt water and fresh So thatright there, lets us know, my
friends, that the tongue, youknow, we don't want to be forked
tongued. We don't want to beforked tongue. We want to speak the
truth. We want to speak theright things so that right things happen.
There's another scripture I want to sharewith you, and it's actually in Joshua
(13:26):
Joshua, the eighth chapter, Nono, no, no Joshua, the
first chapter, verse eight. Sohere's so, if you want success in
your life, if you want prosperityin your life, if you want the
(13:46):
blessing of the Lord, You gotto speak right and cause the blessing of
the Lord to come to you.If you speak what God says, he
will watch over his word to makesure that it happens in your life.
So let's listen and see what Joshuathe first chapter, verse eight says.
It says, this book of theLaw shall not depart out of thy mouth,
(14:11):
but thou shalt meditate therein day andnight, that thou mayst observe to
do according to all that is writtentherein. For then thou shalt make thy
way prosperous, and then thou shalthave good success. My friends, the
tongue is a creative force, andso it's one thing to think of real,
(14:37):
nice, pretty things to say.But when we think, when we
say and repeat the word of God, because his word is truth, let
God be true and every man bea liar. So when we speak what
God says about us, when wespeak to speak God's word concerning us or
(14:58):
concerning different things, God watches overhis word to make it come to pass.
He will not alter the things thatgoes forth out of his mouth.
But whatsoever we speak, it shallbring forth what God intended for to bring
forth his word. And my friends, you've been given that same power.
(15:20):
So that so that even the negativethings that you say, because death and
life are in the power of thetongue, even the death that you speak
is going to come forth. Soit's up to us, my friends,
to speak right in our lives. And so I want to appeal to the
real person tonight that's in you tostart speaking the right thing. And in
(15:43):
order for you to speak the rightthing, you have to get the right
thing on the inside of you.Let's look at that one more verse,
one more chapter. Let's look atMatthew the twelfth chapter. Let's look at
Matthew the twelfth chapter, and willbegin at the Oh, I think it's
(16:06):
the thirty fourth verse. Let's let'sbegin at the thirty third verse. And
it says this either make the treegood and his fruit good, or else
(16:26):
make the tree corrupt and his fruitcorrupt. For the tree is known by
his fruit. And here's verse thirtyfour. Listen to this. This is
Matthew twelve, verse thirty three andthirty four. It says, old generation
of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For
(16:49):
out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks Verse thirty five.
A good man, out of thegood treasure of the heart, brings forth
good things, and an evil man, out of the evil treasure, bring
forth evil things. But I sayunto you that every idle word, did
(17:10):
you hear that, that every idleword that men shall speak, they shall
give account thereof in the day ofjudgment. For by thy words thou shalt
be justified, and by thy wordsthou shalt be condemned, my friends,
by your words the tongue, myfriends, we need the Holy Spirit to
(17:33):
be able to control or to giveus what to speak. We need the
Holy Spirit to teach us how tospeak. Because Jesus said, O generation
of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? We
need the Holy Spirit to put goodthings on the inside of us, so
that he said, out of theabundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
(17:56):
So when the good thing is onthe inside of it deuces good things
on the outside. A tree isknown by the fruit that it bears.
So I you know, I wasat a college one day and there was
this beautiful, beautiful, I meanjust beautiful, young lady. And I'm
not you know, not lusting afterher. But she was just beautiful that
(18:19):
you know, just she took verywell care of herself, and you know,
God just made a beautiful human beingright there. And you know,
not not not looking at her ina you know, negative way, but
I'm just man. And then allof a sudden, so some of her
friends came in, some of herassociates came in, and she started speaking
(18:44):
to them. Now, she startedtalking to them and started cussing and started
just saying all kinds of negative stuff. I'm like, I had to do
a double tape. I said, there's no way somebody that beautiful can speak
like that. And so it letme know that what was on the inside
of her was rotten and it waspoison. And so although her appearance was
(19:11):
beautiful, I can imagine, onlyimagine that her life was just as toxic
and poison as the words that werecoming out of her mouth. Because because
if it comes out of your mouth, that means it's in your heart.
What's in a person comes out, that's the fruit that's on the inside.
(19:32):
That's the fruit that a person's lifebears. So we can paint the outside
up real pretty, dress it upreal nice, but full of dead men's
bones, full of poison, deadlypoison on the inside. So, my
friends, we got to learn howto speak right. And there's only one
way that we can learn how tospeak right. And listen, let me
(19:56):
give you just another scripture. Man, it's just all throughout the Word of
God, the Word of God.So listen to this. Let's go to
proverbs. No, no, no, forgive me. Philippians, the fourth
chapter, Philippians. The fourth chapterthe Philippians, the fourth chapter. The
(20:21):
eighth verse says this. It saysthis, Finally, my brethren, whatsoever
things are true, what sever thingsare honest, whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are pure, What serverthings are lovely? Whatsoever things are of
good report, If there be anyvirtue, and if there be any praise,
(20:42):
think on these things, those thingswhich you have both learned and received
and heard and seen in me.Do and the God of Peace shall be
with you. And so when wemeditate on the right things, when the
right things are on the inside, they're going to come forth on the outside.
(21:06):
So we want, my friends,we want the good word of God
to come to be planted on theinside of us, so that you know,
so that it'll train our tongues tospeak the right things, because out
of the abundance of the heart, your mouth is going to speak. So
(21:26):
you just listen to yourself sometimes maybejust record yourself on the phone or whatever.
Or if you say things that's justalways agitating somebody or making somebody angry
all the time. And if that'swhat's being produced on the inside of you,
if that's if that's what's coming outof your mouth, just anger and
(21:48):
bitterness and just all kinds of negativethings and cursing and stuff like that,
If all of that's coming from withinyou, simply means that that's really what
you've been eating, that's what you'vebeen meditating on. And so I want
to challenge you today to repent, change your mind, change what you've been
(22:14):
meditating on, change what you've beenfeeding on. Because you are what you
eat. You are what you eat, junk in, junk out, junk
in junk out. Your tongue isa creative force. You've been you've been
blessed, you've been given the authority, you've been given the power to speak
(22:36):
and to paint your world. Myfriends, don't let your situation, your
circumstances right now where you are,the things that's going on around you,
your present status, your present situationfinancially or or mentally or health wise.
Don't let that be your final destination. You can speak your way right out
(23:00):
of that, and the word ofGod is anointed and has power to pull
you up out of your situation. So I challenge you today to repent and
start feeding yourself the word of God, the word of God. Man doesn't
live by bread alone, but byevery word that proceeds out of the mouth
(23:23):
of God. So if you wantto truly live today, if you want
to live on top and not beneath, if you want to live an abundant
life and not lack, man,you start confessing and speaking the word of
God. If you're lacking right now, speak this. The Lord is my
(23:45):
shepherd. I shall not want youfamiliar with that scripture song twenty three.
He makes me to lie down ingreen pastures, He leaves me beside still
waters. He restores my soul.So rather than rather than speaking negative things
over your life, rather than sayingI'm scared, I'm afraid, and speak
the word of the Lord. Godhas not given me a spirit of fear,
(24:08):
but of power and of love andof sound mind. Stop speaking stupid
stuff, negative things about yourself.I'm so stupid. Don't do that.
No, how about Romans aid Itsays I am more than a conqueror through
Christ, that Christ, Jesus, that loves me and gave himself for me.
(24:30):
Speak what God says about you.You are not stupid, You're intelligent.
You're created in the image of God, and so if you speak negative
things about yourself, that means you'respeaking negative things about God, who created
you, because you've been created inHis image. No, if since when
(24:52):
you recognize God and say, Lord, you're so wonderful. God, you're
so awesome. God, you're sogreat, he should look down, right
back down at you and say,Winfred, You're so wonderful. Winfred,
You're so awesome. Win For You'reso great. Your confession about God should
be the same as your confession aboutyourself, if you reverence him. I'm
(25:15):
not talking about a negative confession.I'm talking about a reverent confession because you've
been created in the image of God, and you can say what you want
to really about God, but thatdoesn't change who he really is. God
is good. He's good all thetime, whether you believe it or not.
God is good and he loves you, my friend. He loves you,
(25:40):
and he wants you to represent himin the earth. He wants you,
he wants to use your vessel, your body. He wants to use
you to demonstrate His glory and hislove, his goodness in the earth to
people. And so therefore, oryou have to there you must change what's
(26:03):
on the inside of you. Ifyou're not demonstrating the glory of God,
if you're not speaking kind to people, if you're not if you're not saying
the right things about about your ownlife, if you're not confessing the right
things, man, you got tochange what's on the inside of you.
And your confession should be greater ishe that is in me than he that
(26:23):
is in the world. Your tongue, our tongues are a creative force,
and we that love it shall eatthe fruit thereof. And not only that
we should eat the fruit thereof,But our tongues should be speak, should
be fruitful, to speak life andedification, build people up, encourage people,
(26:51):
not tear people down, not cursepeople. Bless we bless. So
if that's not in you, ifif other if things are and that are
coming out of you. That meansyou're full of dead man's poison, your
dead man's bones, your fruit. You're full of deadly poison. But my
friends, I challenge you today tochange the way that you speak. Your
(27:11):
tongue is a creative force. Yes, I'm gonna do Part three on another
podcast session, and I hope you'lltune in because there's so much more that
I can say about this subject. And I'm gonna tell you I've learned to
do it. I've learned to speakthe word. It's called I speak the
word. The Lord showed me thatwhen I was in my twenties. Speak
(27:34):
the words, speak right, youknow, and He'll bless and my life
will follow. And my life hasfollowed my words. My life has followed
my words. And I want todemonstrate that to you in part three.
But God bless you tonight and listenbefore we leave, why don't we just
make this confession and just pray thisprayer to the Lord. So, Dear
(27:57):
Heavenly Father, I come to youtonight. I recognize that you are my
creator. You had a plan anda purpose for my life. You have
a plan and a purpose for mylife. I'm not sure that I walked
in it yet, but I chooseto beginning today. I said, you
(28:22):
have come into my life, comeinto my heart. I repent. I
believe that Jesus Christ is the sonof God. He lived and died and
rose again and is ascended to heavenand making intercession for me. Right now
(28:44):
to you. I received Jesus Christas Lord, and according to your word,
I'm saved. I give my lifeto you. I belong to you
in Jesus' name. Amen, myfriend, if you've just said that prayer,
if you made that confession, it'swith the tongue that salvation is made.
(29:11):
That your life has been changed tosalvation. With your tongue, your
confession is made to salvation, justlike that, and you believe it in
your heart. So what's going tohappen is the Holy Spirit is going to
start speaking to you. I wantto encourage you to read the Word of
God. Just like you eat everyday. You eat breakfast, lunch,
(29:33):
dinner. Just like you eat everyday, eat the words. Start reading
the Word every day. Man doesn'tlive by bread alone, but by every
word that proceeds out of the mouthof God. So start meditating on the
Word of God, let that goon the inside of you and change your
heart and begin to change your insidesso that good fruit will come out of
(30:00):
your mouth. Amen. Well,God bless you. Thank you once again
for joining us again. This isWinfrey Duffy and listen. I hope to
see you on another podcast real Me. I'm looking at the real you today.
Amen. God bless you, andhave a wonderful, wonderful day.
