Speaker 1 (00:00):
All this game up.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
Due to the nature of this program, discretion does not exist.
Speaker 3 (00:04):
It's Race on the radio right now on WTIC News
Talk ten eighty.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
Hello, what is going on all you Scaley Wax?
Speaker 4 (00:25):
What is going on?
Speaker 1 (00:26):
My volume? There you go, another exciting day right here
live on wti C News Talk ten to eighty. I
am your host, Reese on the Radio. Is a pleasure
to be here. As I say every day, it's always
a pleasure. So see, always a pleasure to be above
(00:46):
ground on this exciting episode of Reese on the Radio
on wt i C.
Speaker 5 (00:54):
We've got plenty of stuff to get into.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
We've got turmoil, We've got screaming, we got hollering, We've
got sparta Quess running rampant, We've got Hollywood news. And
of course I want to say hello because he is
at the Helm at the calm today.
Speaker 5 (01:11):
He is my captain Sulu. Today, Joey is in.
Speaker 6 (01:15):
The house, full steam ahead.
Speaker 5 (01:17):
Sir Roland is going to take the rest of the
week off.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
He's got a thing going on with the family and so,
and we wish them well because they're doing the sort
of a competition thing. I don't give his business out
there if he's not sharing it, but good luck to
the Roland family. But we'll see him when we get back.
He on Monday. But I love it when when Joey's him,
because Joey and I get back and forth.
Speaker 5 (01:43):
I almost feel like we've.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
Shared a lot of the same experiences from Afar. Yes,
sort of like this back and forth that we have
that I really enjoy. Oh, I appreciate it, but I'm
exactly I love it when you're here now. I want
to say this because of yesterday's show, and it would
have been perfect if you were at the Helm yesterday.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Ah.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
So yesterday, out of nowhere, we were talking about this
whole blue jeans scandal with you know, uh, what's your
name Sweeney?
Speaker 6 (02:10):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Yeah, So we started saying that how it's been a
while since, you know, beautiful blondes have kind of been
in the forefront, and Sidney Sweeney is like the new
big deal m hm, so you know, American classic sort
of blonde thing going on. So I noticed that we
started mentioning, like, who are some of the most famous
blondes we've had in our history?
Speaker 5 (02:32):
And I noticed something weird.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
I'll get to yours question in a minute, but What
I noticed was when I asked this question, in many
cases we had to go back thirty years for iconic blondes.
So if I had to ask you if you had
a favorite blonde when you were growing up that was
like iconic, like you had the biggest crush.
Speaker 6 (02:56):
On, who would it have been Christine Applegate?
Speaker 5 (02:58):
Right?
Speaker 1 (02:59):
Okay, so that's Christina Applegate. Was literally like, at the
latter part of the show, people said, how could you
forget Christina Applegate? Yeah, and I went, I didn't think
of it because I'm thinking that's TV.
Speaker 5 (03:12):
She really didn't have a.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Hollywood presence in the sense, but yeah, I would totally
agree Christina Applegate back in the days that.
Speaker 5 (03:19):
They married with children would have definitely worked.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
Joshua brings up He wasn't here yesterday, but he brought
up Lisa Welchell. Now, okay, okay, you know who she
is a lot of people might might not remember unless
you were like a big TV guy like me. That
was Blair of Facts of Life. Yes, she was a
big deal as a blonde. Another person mentioned Lonnie Anderson,
(03:47):
which I was like, how do I forget her?
Speaker 6 (03:49):
I mean, Pam Anderson.
Speaker 5 (03:51):
We brought her up of course she's back in.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
She's got the new Liam Neeson Naked Gun film out, which,
by the way's got weight rave reviews.
Speaker 7 (03:59):
I'm not a fan of the like, the trailers are
not doing it for me. I want to see it
and hopefully the trailers don't parlay into the movie. But
the trailers not feeling only.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Yeah, I'm not either, But I saw a review earlier
today that said that they were weirdly surprised at how
well it was done. And Liam Neeson does not he
doesn't squander the comedy in this, which I always thought
that William Neeson had.
Speaker 5 (04:26):
A very comedic edge.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
I've seen him in some other things where he had
to be funny and he was actually pretty good.
Speaker 5 (04:32):
So yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Pam Anderson was another one we mentioned. Another honorable mention.
I could not forget them, but Heather Thomas as well
as Heather Locklear both great blondes.
Speaker 7 (04:44):
Another one I have if we actually had a daughter,
they would have been named this Jillian Anderson.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Yes, absolutely, I think Jillian Anderson is a perfect blonde.
But I think the thing that takes away from her
is that, if I'm correct, here is Jillian Anderson British.
Speaker 6 (05:04):
She's yeah, she's well, yeah.
Speaker 5 (05:05):
Yeah, the only that's the only thing.
Speaker 7 (05:08):
I mean, she was born in Chicago, but she moved
like she definitely has a lot of British and like
influenced in her, like a lot of her acting and
stuff like that, and she's.
Speaker 6 (05:17):
Lived there for a long time.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
Okay, because I guess she was born in town.
Speaker 5 (05:20):
If I remember, she still has an accent, doesn't she?
Speaker 7 (05:22):
Yes, Okay, she grew up in London, but she was
born in Chicago, gotcha.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Okay, So that explains it. Because I was like, I
was watching something recently and it was one of the
rare times on film or on camera I actually heard
her use her actual voice.
Speaker 7 (05:36):
Yes, it's well, yes, when actors do that, it's kind
of like, whoa, you're a human.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
I don't like it. It's really weird.
Speaker 5 (05:45):
Hey, hello, Carl, Carls in the house. He's in the
chat room.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
I know a lot of podcasters of folks don't remember him.
But I need to get to the opening monologue and
this one, this one blows my mind. So and by
the way, thank you, Joey. I just wanted to I
was thinking about you yesterday. I wanted to get your
take on the blonde thing.
Speaker 6 (06:02):
Oh good, I'm here all day.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
I had no problem. So I was thinking about a
story today and said to myself, Okay, got to hit
my opening monologue. Ready, let's go go through some things.
So I start going through stories and stuff like that,
and I'm like, ah, I don't know if I care
about that. I don't know if I care about that. Eh,
that's not important enough, you know what. I don't want
(06:25):
to beat up on the Democrats again today. Let me
do something a little different. And I came across the
headline I will not give you the headline yet. In
this case, I'm gonna do the thing I'm not supposed to.
I'm gonna bury the lead. But I wanted to check
some background on the headline. So I'm going to start
(06:47):
where I ended and get to the beginning. Connecticut has
actively pushed for increased bicycle and e bicycle use through
seven initiatives, primarily driven by the Department of Education, I'm Sorry,
Department of Energy and Environmental Protection also known as DEEP,
(07:10):
and the Department of Transportation. These efforts focus on promoting
sustainable transportation, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and improving accessibility, particularly
for low.
Speaker 5 (07:24):
Income and environmental justice communities.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
Below is a key summary of those initiatives based upon
available information provided to you by DEEP and the Department
of Transportation. Launched in June of twenty twenty three, the
Connecticut Electric Bicycle Initiative Program, part of the Connecticut Hydrogen
(07:50):
and Electric Automobile Purchase Rebate, also known as Cheaper Program,
encourages e bike adaptation by offering financial incentives. The program
was established under Public Act twenty two DASHED twenty five
or twenty two to twenty five, the Connecticut Clean Air
(08:10):
Act to promote clean transportation options. It provides point of
sale rebates for eligible e bikes up to three thousand dollars.
Speaker 5 (08:21):
It gave five hundred dollars for.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
All residents over the age of eighteen, and up to
fifteen hundred dollars for low and moderate income individuals those
in environmental justice communities or distressed municipalities. The funding that
DEEP allocated was one point five million dollars over three years,
(08:47):
with seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars for Round one
in twenty twenty three, seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars
for Round two in twenty twenty four. In Round one
They saw over six thousand applications in just ten days,
leading to increased funding due to high demand. Round two
(09:09):
introduced a lottery system and prioritized income qualified applicants and economic.
Speaker 5 (09:16):
Justice community residents.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
The program aimed to or aims to reduce vehicle miles traveled.
As mobile sources contribute forty percent of state wild greenhouse
gas emissions and seventy percent of nitrogen oxide emissions, worsening
air quality. E bikes are promoted as viable alternatives for
short trips to reduce emissions and improve air quality. Now, folks,
(09:47):
this was an initiative from Deep in the Department of Transportation.
Why am I reading this because, as I've been saying
for about three weeks now, someone is lying to you.
(10:09):
People have initiatives that are not means tested. They throw
money at a situation without asking you if you want it.
But if you give it to people for free, if
you incentivize their purchase of said item, of course people
(10:29):
will come a running, and they did large numbers of people,
as you just heard, six thousand in ten days. You'll
give it out incentives to put people on e bikes.
Man can't wait and Deep, an environmentalist group they couldn't
(10:52):
help but throw more money at it and put more
of you on these bikes. Now, let's get to the lead.
Hartford Current Today, Connecticut sees explosion of injuries and increase
(11:13):
in deaths from bikes and e bikes, an alarming trend.
The initiative started in twenty twenty three, ladies and gentlemen,
and according to the story written by the Hartford Current Today,
the number of deaths have increased three hundred and fifty
(11:39):
percent from last year.
Speaker 5 (11:46):
Why would that possibly happen?
Speaker 1 (11:51):
Perhaps more people are on e bikes because of a
complete and utter influx of people who are on the bikes.
Save the planet, but not yourselves. Everybody, get an e bike.
We're going to die in twelve years. You, on the
other hand, are going to die tomorrow. But at least
(12:16):
you saved the planet in twenty twenty three. This initiative
that they threw one point five million dollars at seven
hundred and fifty thousand and one year, seven hundred and
fifty thousand another year.
Speaker 5 (12:27):
All of that money that they threwat to get you
on an e bike.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
They're now deciding, folks, to show you exactly how in
f these people are. I don't give a damn what
government enterity they are. And with people on this show
who've come on this show, Representative Muir, I'm talking to
you now who tell us I don't understand this thing
about not trusting the government.
Speaker 5 (12:46):
Here's why we can't trust you.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
You're late. You guys have now started an initiative to
guarantee that everybody's wearing a helmet in October.
Speaker 5 (13:03):
October of this year, it's July.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
You pushed an initiative that you said was supposed to
save the planet, and now you've seen an increase in
deaths to people who are on bicycles and e bikes
telling everybody a Connecticut you got a reduce your carbon footprint.
Speaker 5 (13:21):
Now it's costing them their lives.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
Folks, can we please just wrap our heads around the
fact that these people don't know what they're doing. They
don't and not one person has decided to even question
them on this stuff. Not one person has bothered be
it the news media, be it bloggers, be it anybody else,
no one's even bothered to raise a question. I hate
(13:49):
feeling like I'm the first person to come into this
down and go why people are just running around here
being a stenographer for this initiative. I mean I read
that story in there wasn't one person who covered the
story who pushed back on this policy, asked deep had
(14:10):
they thought about the injury rates of people? What other
things are they planning to do? Even though they're gonna
put more people on bikes while more people are driving.
We just had a story yesterday that said in a
thirty five mile per hour zone on Route sixty six,
they garnered six hundred thousand dollars worth of fines six
(14:33):
hundred thousand because people are speeding in a thirty five
mile per hour zone. A couple of years ago, one
of the biggest epidemics on the roadways in Connecticut were
what wrong way drivers. People thought it had something to
do with the vaccine because it was so obnoxious the
amount of people who were caught driving on the wrong
(14:53):
side of the road. And this was an initiative to
put more people on bikes. And now they're just getting
to and I'm serious, Folks, read the article today yourself.
Speaker 5 (15:06):
I know a lot of you refuse to pick up
the paper.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
But now they're saying that they're gonna push this initiative
in October to finally get people to wear helmets and
make it mandatory. Look no offense, not that people didn't
think that they should wear a helmet, But why are
people on bicycles in the first place.
Speaker 5 (15:30):
If it's not recreational.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
I see these guys, I like calling on the land's
armstrongs that are all over the place, and I love
seeing them because it's you know, it's nice to make
fun of them, unless they're blocking the roadway. That kind
of gets on my nerves. Guys, work on that, can
you please? With all due respect, It's nice to see
out there training, you know, Tour de France.
Speaker 5 (15:51):
Hey, but seriously consider others.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
We have places to go like mal movie theater, girlfriend's house,
things like that.
Speaker 5 (15:59):
Okay, but anyway I was I digress.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
My point is is that if you guys were really
really thinking about the environment, if you all that interested
in reducing the carbon footprint, don't you think you would
have thought this through? And in a part of the media,
the Hartford Current made a big deal about this initiative
(16:25):
in twenty twenty three. It was a really big deal
to then have an article two years later expressed how
the rise in fatalities have happened in that time, and
not one part of the article go back and suggests
(16:46):
perhaps deep was a part of the problem in promoting
more and more folks getting on e bikes and bicycles,
writ large that was going to put their lives in danger.
They don't even do you will call back in the
article to something they promoted.
Speaker 5 (17:06):
This is reckless, This is reprehensible.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
This is irresponsible journalism, and it's irresponsible governing for everybody
to throw their hands up now and be like, why
is this? Why is this influx of death happening? Why
is this increase of people and fatalities happening? And you
can't even see that. It took me two minutes to
(17:30):
find the culprit and it was just two years ago.
Do you folks just read the news or write the
news and then just going about your merry day and
forget about what you rope five minutes later?
Speaker 5 (17:44):
How could nobody make the connection?
Speaker 1 (17:46):
And I did. I knew it.
Speaker 5 (17:51):
I've been here since twenty twenty two and I knew.
I saw a story.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
Wasn't there an initiative to get people on electric bikes?
It's the first thing I thought of when I saw
the headline I know there was, and I don't even
have to know. I don't even have to care. I
ride a bike, but I ride it in parks. I
don't ride it out on the street. I don't ride
it to commute to work. And nothing against the people
(18:16):
who do. But let's be serious. Do it because you
have to, not because of this stupid initiative where these
bozos are talking to you about the environmental impact at
the same time trying to douse the waterways with d quay.
They look and sound stupid. I'm sorry, folks, you cannot
(18:42):
trust them. Do you understand that you can't and you
can't go with this idea that because they are government
they know what they're doing. They are just like any
other bozo you see working out a place that can't
get your order right. I mean, I want you to
think about a guy who can't get your order right
(19:02):
at the local fast food restaurant. Those are these people too.
I'm sure they've got good people in there who are
trying to get the job done, but talk to somebody
who works in a government office and you'll hear the complaints,
even from people who are inside. They just don't use
common sense. They just don't think they do everything backwards.
Everything they do is wrong. I know, and you know
(19:26):
you've heard it every day. You've been in a party,
a barbecue, hell at the store. You know a friend
who works for the government. How many times have you
heard them complain about the way in which things are
done inside that government building.
Speaker 5 (19:39):
They're incompetent and we can't.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
Trust them with anything, much less our own lives. This
was stupid for them to do, and to be honest,
it begs the question are they responsible for the deaths
and the increase since twenty twenty three.
Speaker 5 (20:02):
Let's take a break.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
We'll be back more news, more views when we return
to Threes on the radio on w t i C
News Talk ten eight, the hour.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
That bags out, Punch Punch.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
It's Reese on the radio on w t i C
News Talk ten eighty.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
Now are we on this? I want to ride my
I had to. It's the reason why I love you. Man.
Now I don't I didn't even ask this, But are
we on t i C dot com? Or yeah?
Speaker 6 (20:34):
We are streaming world?
Speaker 1 (20:35):
We're streaming now? Okay, good, all right.
Speaker 5 (20:37):
I was wondering what was going on those either.
Speaker 7 (20:40):
I was either gonna play this or Pewey Herman. Yeah, okay,
no classic bike.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
This is perfect. So we're talking about the eve but
e bike increase in fatalities and injuries that happened in Connecticut.
I have a couple of those things in here. One
of the things that uh, Robert B. Just told me
was another increase in bike use are Duy's, which is
(21:08):
a you know, I think that's a chronic problem or
a problem, I should say, in a lot of places
in and across the country.
Speaker 7 (21:14):
People my cousin got one of those dy on a bicycle. Oh,
he got it on a bicycle, old school before e bikes.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
Wow. So many people because they can't drive a car
because their license have been suspended, they've been reduced to
buying having to ride a bicycle.
Speaker 5 (21:31):
That's a good point, Robert B.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
But I want to go through some of the lineups
of the listings here of to the contributors of these fatalities.
White Mic is in the chat room and he said
they're basically motorcycles. He says, I happen to know a
bit about e bikes. Lots of them are basically e mopeds.
The pedals are just there for shows. Some of them
go as high as fifty miles per hour or more
(21:55):
that much. I know because the boy wanted one of
and we had to I had to go through the
specs before we bought them, and it was a whole
deal that we ran through it. It's like, what's the
deal with this e bike? How fast does it go?
Where is he going to be riding it? Naturally, those
(22:17):
things concern me because he's in a very high traffic area,
but he's not where in a place where people drive
faster or supposed to drive faster than like forty five
miles per hour, But even that is.
Speaker 5 (22:30):
Dangerous in a lot of cases.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
There are a few back roads, but they are I
guess the term is hilly. They have a lot of
hills to go up. And most kids don't like to
ride places where they have to do a lot of
or exert a lot of energy. So that wasn't really
a restricter in that sense. But let me read a
couple of these things here. The state's e bike incentive program,
(22:57):
launched in June of twenty twenty three, as I stated,
and launched in twenty twenty four, has boosted the e
bike adoption, particularly in environmental justice and low income communities.
This increased ridership may contribute to higher accident rates due
to more users, including inexperienced users. That is a key
(23:18):
part of this, because I will not lie. Even though
I know how to ride a bike, I know there
are some things that I forgot about in right. I mean,
I rode my bike when you know, before we bought
the little stationarything, I was riding my bike through the
bike path before you know, we almost got taken out
by wild bores. I was a little reckless with my bike.
(23:42):
I was doing things that I knew I shouldn't have it,
especially at my age, and telling the truth here. I
did not wear a helmet, and some of the places
where I would ride that bike were steep, and I
was like zooming through like you know, like some ten
year old. That's dangerous. And we know that a lot
of people don't want to wear the helmet because esthetically
(24:06):
it kind of makes people look silly. That's why I
love unless you're going to be you know, like I
said one of the Lansarmstrong Guys also historical content context sorry.
Speaker 5 (24:16):
From twenty seventeen to twenty twenty.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
Two, e bike injuries rose from seven hundred and fifty
one to twenty three thousand, four hundred and ninety three,
with one hundred and four fatalities reported nationally. While Connecticut
specific fatality data in this period isn't isolated, the state's
urban density and growing e byke use suggest it follows
(24:41):
similar patterns.
Speaker 5 (24:45):
And that is one of the key parts about all.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
Of this is that you have this government entity telling
you that you need to put your life at risk
to what I have no idea. I don't understand how
your car in Connecticut. Hell, I don't understand how any
(25:08):
car in the state of Connecticut is contributing to the.
Speaker 5 (25:15):
Vast pollution that deep is trying to subdue.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
And now we know, by the way, beyond the shadow
of a doubt, that all of that climate change hoopla
was a fraud.
Speaker 5 (25:28):
We know it now.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
It's not a joke, it's not a lie. Washington posted.
New York Times went so far as to tell us
that all of it was a complete fraud. So if
people are concerned about the e bike accident rate, perhaps
sell them and if anything, sell them back to this state.
(25:53):
Just do that.
Speaker 5 (25:54):
Get a car, Just get a car.
Speaker 1 (25:56):
Actually, I would go so far as to say never
ride the damn thing again. And if you're not doing
it in a recreational level, like if you're not gonna
go to the park and ride on a bike path,
if you're not gonna get a helmet, and like I
know in October they're gonna do this old mandatory thing.
But just get a helmet now if you're going to
use it. But look, it should be told, I wouldn't
trust these folks to give me. Why would you allow
(26:17):
them to give you direction on this? And I know
that a lot of it was, hey they're giving free
bikes down down, or hey they're going to give you
I don't know, some sort of climate justice bike.
Speaker 5 (26:34):
And people ran by there and said to.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
Themselves, wooned, it's practically a Christmas gift. I just again,
I don't know why people.
Speaker 5 (26:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
I don't know why people let the government steer them
in the dumbest directions. Just it is, it's just, it's
it's completely insane. I'm every time I read these stories,
I keep asking myself, why didn't anybody do this research beforehand?
Speaker 5 (27:02):
Why didn't anyone just do a Google search?
Speaker 1 (27:05):
You know? Brian said something on his show on Brian
and company, he was saying, and I don't think he
was being dismissive. I think he was just saying that
anybody could do a Google search on this, that, and the.
Speaker 5 (27:16):
Third, and he's one hundred percent right.
Speaker 1 (27:20):
But you know what I'm.
Speaker 5 (27:21):
Noticing, nobody does.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
No one does a simple Google search, not even the
people who are supposed to be coming up with these
great ideas.
Speaker 5 (27:35):
No one says, hey, I've got an idea.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
Hey, maybe we should check it out and see if
it worked anywhere else. Same thing with like Mom Donnie.
He's running around telling everyone that the bussing program works,
the free bus program because of Kansas City. I looked
up the Kansas City busting system. Guess what, it's morrhaging cash.
They're about to kill the whole program. He said the
same thing about government grocery stores. He's gonna put one
(27:59):
in every There are five in New York. Everybody knows
the video that just went viral in Kansas City. It
says that when you walk into their government run grocery store,
the cupboards are empty and it's reeks.
Speaker 5 (28:13):
Of foul stench. The community is like, where is the food?
Speaker 1 (28:18):
And they put millions of dollars and tens of millions
of dollars into this store that people go to and
walk right out of. And the crazy part is that's
the crazy part is that mom Donnie is talking about
this and not one journalist is pushing back with the
(28:39):
Kansas City store. Not one person has addressed him and said, hey,
you mentioned Kansas City's model for government run grocery stores.
Speaker 5 (28:50):
Have you seen this story? And nothing.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
It's the constant thing here in the state. Not one
person has bothered to push back on anything. Some government
official comes in when a new plan, We're gonna do this,
and everybody goes, wow, tell us more, and he's just
(29:16):
everybody's a stenographer. It's like they work for the campaign
in some way. Yeah, he said, this is gonna be great.
You know what, I'll give you an example. Let me
give you an example. Let let's go back to the
d quay thing, which I talk about till my face
turns blue.
Speaker 5 (29:32):
But let's let's really dive in to make my point.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
Deep the EPA Army Corps of Engineers Rivers Alliance. They
say d quot is safe and effective. The news media
echoes that statement. The people, average folks who have access
(30:01):
to all the information in the world. They can make
phone calls, they can go online, they can talk to people,
They even work in the industry. A lot of them say,
two deep rivers alliance, the EPA and the Army Corps
of Engineers. You're wrong, it's not safe and effective. The
(30:22):
news media comes out the next day and they go
conspiracy theorists suggest the removal of de quat using an
herbicide isn't safe and effective. Not one of them, with
the exception of WFSB, not one of them. As reporters, journalists, investigators,
(30:50):
curious people looked up any of the data the naysayers
are bringing forward. They never even decided or even made
the attempt to inject.
Speaker 5 (31:08):
That info into their story.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
No comprehensive work done by the journalists at all. It
is Deep uh c Aes, whoever government official, Dick Blumenthal
they say, safe and effective.
Speaker 5 (31:29):
Conspiracy theorists.
Speaker 1 (31:31):
That's what they call the opposite of the opposing side.
No thoughtfulness in or even consideration into the people that
Deep c Aes and Dick Bloom Blumenthal are supposed to serve,
which is also the job of the news media.
Speaker 5 (31:51):
It's to serve you, not to run opposition to you.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
The news media isn't here to make you look like
you don't know what you're talking about. They are just
like Dick Blumenthal. That's their role. They were hired to
serve you in the same way as I always say
when they do news at eleven, is your dishwasher killing you?
(32:17):
What's the purpose of that story? To serve you, to
give you the information to make sure that you're not
in danger. But then a government official comes out and says,
I want you on an a bike, I want to
put poison in your water. And what does the news
media do. They've got the opportunity to get to the
(32:38):
bottom of it. It's not about embarrassing anybody, it's not
about hurting anybody's feelings. It's about getting to the facts.
But instead, what's the news media doing. The news media
is doing the exact opposite. But they're going But officials say,
and the Army Corps of Engineers says, so what they
(32:59):
said it, So that's it. The argument's over. The Army
Corps Engineering EPA says that it's safe and effective, that's it,
And he pushback means that everyone else is that crazy.
You didn't even give the audience your own research you
(33:21):
didn't even bother to look into the matter yourself.
Speaker 5 (33:27):
I don't get it.
Speaker 1 (33:30):
The Connecticut Sentinel did just that. Chris Webby did just that.
He did the work, you guys. You guys just decided, Hey,
we're gonna tag along with Deck Bluman dog down the
Deep War Deep River, and we're gonna go down there.
We're just gonna have our conversation, uh with nobody the
(33:52):
fact that and and let me tell you something, this
is this is what blew my mind. I had a
conversation with the spokesperson over at the h the Save
the Sound. Do you know what he said about the
Bloomenthal oppressor.
Speaker 5 (34:05):
Do you know what he said? He said, I just
couldn't believe it.
Speaker 1 (34:07):
Man, there were all these people there who were just
screaming and shouting at the people who were there trying
to give some information. You know, My response is to that,
so what of course they're screaming and hollering. They're being ignored,
they're being maligned unline, they're being maligned in newsrooms. None
(34:33):
of this sounds familiar to these people. Has no one
even bothered to do a little bit of research about
twenty twenty and twenty twenty one to remember exactly what
the news media did during COVID when people were asking questions,
when people were concerned about what they were being told.
(34:53):
Do you know when I knew that this whole thing
was a joke? Anybody remember Eric Garcetti? You may not.
If you're on the East Coast, you're not gonna know
who he is. But those of us are wearing to know.
Speaker 5 (35:02):
You know who he is.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
For those of you who don't, let me tell you
who Eric Garcetti is. Eric Garcetti used to be the
mayor of Los Angeles during COVID. Do you know what
that bonehead told people to do?
Speaker 5 (35:14):
That idiot idiot told people to do.
Speaker 1 (35:18):
He told people that it was unsafe to walk on
the dry sand at the Los Angeles Beaches, but you
could walk on the wet sand of the Los Angeles Beach.
And not one journalist looked at him and said, hey, stupid,
(35:39):
how do we get to the wet sand.
Speaker 5 (35:43):
Outside of walking through the dry stuff?
Speaker 1 (35:47):
Not one journalist, not one.
Speaker 5 (35:52):
They just posted it, printed. It gave the warning to.
Speaker 1 (35:57):
The people of Los Angeles, you can walk on the
wet sand, just don't touch the dry stuff.
Speaker 5 (36:07):
It begs the question, are these folks stupid or lazy.
Speaker 1 (36:13):
Or are they in on it. I'm tend to believe
it's a bit of both or all three. This is
just a It's a classic case of people just not
interested in doing the job that's required of them or
either being maybe they're just misguided about what their job is.
(36:36):
So news Media, just so you know, you don't work
for Dick Blumenthal, you don't work for Governor Lamont. You
work for the people who listen and read your material.
That's it, news Media. Those are the people you work for.
Those are the people that you answered to. Those are
the people you cater to. And if they have a concern,
(36:58):
even if it's unwarmed, address it. Ask yourself the question,
why don't they watch you anymore? Why do they no
longer have interest? Or do you think it's because they
have smart devices? You think that's it. You're going to
excuse it with that, Well, because they have cellular phones
and computers, they don't watch us anymore.
Speaker 5 (37:19):
Way to take ownership, it's you. It's always you.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
Have to remind that to myself. I have to remind
myself of that every day. Why are people acting this?
It might be me?
Speaker 5 (37:39):
You're not doing your job.
Speaker 1 (37:41):
Get on it.
Speaker 5 (37:42):
It's that simple.
Speaker 1 (37:43):
Get on it.
Speaker 5 (37:47):

We got no fellings fellows. Yeah, if you're going back there,
little mobes and gentlemen, I do that. Boy, that's an
interesting I look one of my favorite songs by by
Mob Deep as a song called the Learning.
Speaker 5 (40:58):
That's one of my favorite tracks.
Speaker 1 (41:01):
So thank you for that. So I'm getting railed online
by two of my buddies, and I appreciate it because
I knew it when I said it yesterday, Joey, I
was gonna get I was gonna get backlash for it today.
Speaker 5 (41:14):
So here's what I did now.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
I'm I wouldn't call myself eclectic when it comes to music.
I don't listen to bluegrass. Not a big fan of country.
Maybe some old country, you know, a little bit of
Whaling Jennings here and some Dolly Parton there, maybe even
what's her name, Patsy Klein Love Patsy Kline even loved
the movie with Jessica Lang.
Speaker 5 (41:36):
So there are some DIBs and dabs Kenny Rogers, of course.
Speaker 1 (41:40):
So I wouldn't call myself eclectic in the sense of
everything I listened to, but there's a lot. And before
the show ended, I happened to mention that one of
my favorite songs to listen to on high quality audio
devices was ABBA's Dancing Queen. And I was explaining yesterday
(42:02):
exactly how it happened because I was listening to a
very very good sound Systm or Bear headphones that were
really really good quality. I can't remember which ones they were,
but they were not like beats or any of those.
It's just maybe been Sony or jbls or I don't know.
But I was listening to it and I could hear
every instrument independently in the song. I don't know why,
(42:24):
but I could, and it was and I you know,
I wasn't on anything or just it was so crisp,
and I could tell everything about that song. Well, I
go too much Bago now again. What I fell in
love with, if you're listening, is the drumming. The drumming
(42:46):
on this is not a drum kit.
Speaker 5 (42:49):
This is live, and.
Speaker 1 (42:52):
If I'm right about this, somebody may have correct me.
This was not done to a click track. Some drummers
need a click track to keep time. This was done
independent of one, and that drumming is so crisp. It
made me love the song. So now I come to
the show.
Speaker 5 (43:12):
In my chat room.
Speaker 1 (43:13):
Starts off with Craig, who starts off saying sup Dancing Queen,
which I responded, going that's gonna stick now, isn't it.
I don't mind. It's okay, it's worth it to me.
Speaker 6 (43:25):
I sense a new T shirt coming.
Speaker 11 (43:27):
Yes, I.
Speaker 1 (43:30):
Yes, there may have to be. There may have to be,
But I'm just saying that sometimes you can hear a
great you know, you can hear a song that may
not be the most popular song and musically it is perfect.
I'll tell you another one that a lot of people
don't like. I love this song, Silent Lucidity. I think
that song's touched by God. I think that song's perfect.
Speaker 7 (43:51):
And then there's times like you could you could hear
the same song, but you're just in that type of
mood that day. When that song hits on the playlist,
it's it. It's a whole nother vibe.
Speaker 5 (44:01):
Yeah, exactly. But Silent Lucidity.
Speaker 1 (44:03):
I remember being in a car with my ex wife
and we were in the biggest fight ever and the
song came on and she wanted to continue your argument,
and I screamed in her and I said, do me
a favor, yell at me when this song is over.
I want to hear every damn note of this record.
And I was Silent Lucidity is just one of those songs.
When I hear it, I'm there, I'm literally I feel
(44:25):
like I'm being surrounded by an orchestra and I'm in
the middle of it.
Speaker 5 (44:29):
It's just perfect. It's the perfect sound, perfect song.
Speaker 1 (44:33):
It's one of the songs I consider touched by God
because it's perfect in my view. A lot of people
not big fans of it, but I think that's one
of those songs that is just perfect. That's all. That's
all I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (44:45):
And other songs are like that too. I can name
a few. Do you have a song that you think
of like that? It's just like absolutely flawless.
Speaker 6 (44:52):
It that really depends, like it really depends.
Speaker 1 (44:56):
I mean, you can say a song that you've heard
that you just go they didn't miss one note on
that it was just like whatever it was, it was
perfectly done.
Speaker 5 (45:03):
Chorus, lyrics, music, everything get right, just touches the right.
Speaker 7 (45:09):
If I'm gonna have to say stuck on a desert
island and the one song I can listen to over
and over, Okay, it's probably Billy Jean by Michael Jackson,
flawless record, I don't the whole Yes, like I can
listen to that song day in and day out and
never be wored with it.
Speaker 1 (45:27):
Really, yes, I think you can. It's true. It's one
of those songs that you can listen to over and
over again at anytime and it's never a bad record.
Speaker 2 (45:37):
No, it's not.
Speaker 1 (45:38):
I know some songs that you can hear like you
know people like Stairway to Heaven. But I put it
on my band bar list, Like if I'm at a bar,
you can't play that song. Yeah, you know so.
Speaker 5 (45:46):
But Billy Jean is not one of those songs. It's
so funny that you say that.
Speaker 1 (45:50):
Yesterday I was watching something on TikTok and they have
a list of the most famous people in the world, right,
the most famous m HM from one through ten. Michael
Jackson is on the list and he's number two. Do
you know who beats him on the list?
Speaker 6 (46:07):
If he's number two? It was select It was like
just most popular in general.
Speaker 1 (46:12):
It's most the most popular, oh sorry, the most famous
person in the world. And Michael Jackson was number two.
There was only one person, of course, who beat him.
And it makes me laugh every time I look at
the list.
Speaker 7 (46:25):
How old was the list? I need a lot of
bit here. I got a minute recent Obama Obama came
in ten. Okay, Biden, no, Biden Trump Trump.
Speaker 1 (46:36):
Trump's eight two points higher than Obama. Sounds crazy, right, Elvis,
Elvis seven, Hey, I'm getting the list. Well, you got
him right. I'll tell you this because we got to
go to a break. Jesus okay, So it was Jesus
and Michael Jackson. It's a pretty good company up here
(47:00):
going most famous person in the world. Michael Jackson was
second to Jesus.
Speaker 6 (47:05):
That's okay.
Speaker 1 (47:07):
I'm not if I'm Michael Jackson. I'm going you know,
I had a lot of number ones, but I'll take
this number two. This is a good one. That's a
good number two to have. I couldn't believe it. And
Barack Obama number ten, Donald Trump number eight, Elvis seven.
I thought that was incredible. That was an Abraham Lincoln
number one president at six was the top, was the
(47:28):
top president, all of them. We gotta go to news.
John Silver's got news coming up in the w t
i C News World movie Back at Trees on the
radio on w t I see News Talk ten eighty.
Speaker 2 (47:40):
The self proclaimed love child though limb.
Speaker 9 (47:46):
The radio.
Speaker 2 (47:49):
Street.
Speaker 1 (47:50):
Oh, very many with the steel If you know what
I mean, Ernie Keith, you'll want to get me started
with this. Let me get to this this quickly. I
was never a Warre and G fan until this particular
thing happened. Do you remember the lawsuit between Warren G
(48:13):
and Garth Brooks?
Speaker 9 (48:15):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (48:16):
Do you remember that?
Speaker 5 (48:16):
Do you remember what it was about?
Speaker 6 (48:21):
Not exactly? No, Okay, so I remember it. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (48:24):
Let me bury the lead here and tell you what
prompted me to do this. So I'm working at a
radio station, of course, Hot ninety seven in New York.
I'm working at that radio station, and it prompted me
to come up with this character based upon this lawsuit.
And the character I came up with was a guy
by the name of lowercase G. Right, So why would
(48:44):
I call him lowercase G, because if you're supposed to
be like a gangster, you called a G.
Speaker 5 (48:50):
So I thought lowercase G was funny.
Speaker 1 (48:52):
Because of this lawsuit, Garth Brooks was holding a concert
at Central Park back in the day. Right at the time,
Warren G's regulators was kind of like popping on the
radio and Garth Brooks promos in Washington Square Park was
a lowercase G with his name under it, and Warren
(49:15):
G's camp sued him for the use of lowercase G.
Speaker 6 (49:20):
That's what was on the album cover.
Speaker 1 (49:21):
Yeah, it was on the album cover. And sure enough
Warren G one. He beat Garth Brooks, which many people
thought that Garth Brooks would never ever, like, you know,
bow out to like some rapper with like a want
to hit wonder But sure enough Warn G's folks persist
over the use of it. Was a story I'd never
(49:42):
heard of before where you could sue somebody over a font.
I'd never heard of that before. But sure enough, apparently
there are copyright laws that you can break for the
use of a letter.
Speaker 6 (49:54):
Huh, everything's gone downhill since that's has been a.
Speaker 1 (49:56):
Mess ever since anyway with that, let's uh, it's that time.
So let's get to some some headlines which I don't
have in front of me. Where are my headlines?
Speaker 7 (50:10):
The headlines are missing, headline breaking news headlines are missing.
Speaker 5 (50:14):
I've got them anyway.
Speaker 1 (50:15):
While folks are taking notice of claims by Democrats, uh
craned by Democrats of Jasmine Crockett, this so called puff
piece that came out about her exposing the true infighting
in the Democrat party. Senator Cory Booker took to raging
against his own party for their inability to back to fight.
Speaker 5 (50:34):
Back against Donald Trump.
Speaker 1 (50:35):
According to the piece, Crockett also took shots at AOC,
Alexandria Casio Cortez and Bernie Sanders, and of all things
she's criticizing them for. She says, their fight the oligarchy
tour is quote all about them. Jasmine Crockett, the woman
who has on her screen a picture of herself her
(50:56):
phone screen. Yeah, that's our lock screen. Shaquille O'Neill has
it interesting idea. And I thought about this a long
time ago, but I think he may be onto something.
His idea to make the WNBA profitable makes sense because
he's saying that the league should consider lowering the rim
(51:20):
because currently the NBA and the WNBA regulations are the
same to keep the rim at ten feet.
Speaker 5 (51:28):
An argument can be made.
Speaker 1 (51:31):
I believe that this is true because technically, you're asking
women to achieve in the sport at the same pace,
if not the same requirements as the men in the NBA.
And with this whole argument going back and forth about
men and women's sports, it makes absolute sense that what
(51:52):
we do is lower the rims so that it adheres
to a woman's physicality and ability to play the game.
Speaker 5 (51:59):
It will probably give me an opportunity to dunk.
Speaker 1 (52:01):
It'd probably make the game faster, maybe the shots would
be easier for them to take, because one of the
biggest problems we have are scores like twenty two to forty.
Speaker 5 (52:10):
Five in a lot of these games.
Speaker 1 (52:12):
I mean, I'm not gonna lie, it is horrible to
watch sometimes. But if the ladies have an opportunity that
meets their physicality, perhaps we get a faster and better product.
It's just my view.
Speaker 5 (52:23):
I think it's a good idea and Adam Silver should
consider it. Luke Bronan, as you may have heard, has
also announced.
Speaker 1 (52:31):
That he is he's running for office, and he dropped
his first campaign video which I know that they played
it at the top of the news hour, but I
won't play it for you here because I think that
it's it's unsafe.
Speaker 5 (52:47):
No one wants you to fall asleep at the behind
the wheel of a car.
Speaker 1 (52:50):
But in it, he says that he's fighting like hell
every day to fight back against Donald Trump. He says,
we need members of Congress who, from the minute that
they wake up in the morning and they go to
sleep to sleep, will work relentlessly to make life easier, healthier,
and more affordable for every American. That's the type of
(53:11):
energy and urgency he'll.
Speaker 5 (53:13):
Bring to the job every day.
Speaker 4 (53:15):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (53:15):
So, again, I won't play that video for you because
I saw it and I was literally almost.
Speaker 1 (53:21):
Went to sleep, and I won't bore you. Let's get
to the stupidest thing I read today.
Speaker 3 (53:31):
Yes, you do.
Speaker 12 (53:33):
Active could very well be the stupidest person on the
face of the earth.
Speaker 1 (53:41):
M Let's consider.
Speaker 3 (53:44):
This.
Speaker 5 (53:46):
You start an initiative.
Speaker 1 (53:51):
To get people to purchase a vanity license plate, and
you say that the vanity license plate is for a
good cause, only to learn that proceeds from the.
Speaker 5 (54:08):
License plate will not go to the charity. Have you
heard about this?
Speaker 1 (54:17):
This could be, and I think, to be honest with you,
I think I'm going to fight to make sure that
this changes. Connecticut's new pizza plate gives visibility, not cash,
not cash to the anti hunger charity. It turns out
that this food share pizza license plate that they have,
(54:44):
you know, you buy the license plate for sixty five dollars,
it's got a pizza slice on it and it says,
you know, we support food Share. Well, none of the
proceeds for the new license plate are going to food Share.
They're saying that the license plate is just there to
pro food Share. Then I get in a dime, not
a dime, and there it is. There's our Governor Ned
(55:08):
Lamont standing there holding up the license plate. Ah yeah, yeah,
with a king of pizza, with a king of pizza.
And we're gonna do this limiting partnership. And it's only
to give food share exposure. Thinking in some way that's
going to reap some sort of reward for food Share.
Perhaps you get people to buy the license plate and
you give them five dollars. It's sixty five dollars, give
(55:30):
them five for everyone that's purchased, give them five dollars.
You can't do that.
Speaker 5 (55:35):
The DMV's got to take every dime, every dime government.
Speaker 1 (55:39):
Really, I mean, it's not a charitable thing if there's
no charity to give it, says here. The Office of
ned Lamont now knows that when it comes to the
fee for the pizza plate, there is no sharing with
food Share. The money goes to the DMV, the case
(56:00):
for most special plates. Quote, we're not getting a piece,
said Jason Jukobowski, the president and chief executive officer of
the forty three year old nonprofit and serves that serves
this statewide food bank, supplying pantries, meal programs, and mobile sites.
Speaker 5 (56:21):
He's not complaining, though he should.
Speaker 1 (56:24):
The plate gives Connecticut food Share a branding boost and
an opportunity to raise money. Buying a plate is done
on food shares website at connecticutfoodshare dot org slash pizza
plate which offers convenient but a convenient what is this
a convenient button to make a donation? They should at
(56:46):
least they should at least match it. But DMV really,
just really, you guys can't turn this around and just
give five dollars, just five bucks. This is the most
insane thing I've ever heard in my entire life, and
(57:06):
and I give it. Look, I'm gonna give it to
food Share for not making a fuss about this because
at least, you know, hey, you know, we get we
get to promote ourselves, and that's all fine. But don't
you need all the help that you can get, you know,
in a struggling economy? Now, I mean that's what you
tell us every day. Economy is really really tough. Food
prices are high. Donald Trump isn't doing enough. And you
(57:28):
mean to tell me that these folks at the DMV,
a government entity, is not going to share a little
bit of the reward. Well, everybody's running around saying yeah,
we're number one. Our pizza not one. Absolutely insane, but
there we go. There we go. Stupidest thing I read
today visibility no donations none. Going back to our conversation
(57:49):
earlier today about the the e bike, I wanted to
read what Tyler p wrote about his experience. Tyler Pea says,
my girlfriend was in high school and she rode her
e bike. Oh goodness, gration this she got kicked off
of it. Here we go, sorry, He says, my girlfriend
was in high school. She rode an e bike to
her job, which was a few miles away. She passed out,
(58:13):
he says, on the side of the road from heat
exhaustion on a really hot day, and it was on
the edge of a state road. Luckily she was not harmed.
That's also a consideration. That is a consideration. Let me
see what my white Mike says. NBA needs more Sophie
(58:33):
Cunningham and few weave wearing strawberries. I don't know if
that even means. Yes, I didn't see the young lady
who lost her weave. I did see that. Did you
see that game, Joey, But the young lady lost her
entire wig on the court.
Speaker 9 (58:51):
I have not.
Speaker 5 (58:52):
Oh my god, they had to call a timeout.
Speaker 1 (58:56):
On the court.
Speaker 5 (58:57):
It was just awful, Like, why would you wearing a wink?
Speaker 13 (59:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (59:01):
Why not needed? It's not gonna give you any advantage.
Speaker 1 (59:05):
If anything, it's a weighted thing. That's it's gonna keep
you from a jump shot. It's weighing you down, sweetheart.
Short hair is the key, that's the idea. So it's
also the reason why I don't understand, like guys have
dreadlocks who play in the NBA. I'm like, that can't
be helping you with your.
Speaker 7 (59:24):
Vertical I can never figure out when for football that
doesn't make sense.
Speaker 1 (59:28):
And I was so happy when the NFL allowed you
to tackle a guy by his dreadlocks. I'm part of
the uniform, thankfully. I'm like, I couldn't I couldn't love
it more. More and more people started cutting their hair
after that. M M yeah, so I again, this Pizzagate
thing doesn't make any sense. I think someone else had
(59:49):
something to say about the Pizzagate thing that they did not.
They said, yeah, what's the point of that? Sounds about right?
Another ned Lamon shady deal. Yeah, Nick, I don't get
it either. And the fact that it would be made
public and no one say, hey, guys, we're gonna rethink
that and give them the five bucks.
Speaker 5 (01:00:09):
That's again doesn't make any any sense. But here we are,
but it does.
Speaker 1 (01:00:14):
It's crazy. Let's go.
Speaker 5 (01:00:15):
Hey, George is in Saint Louis.
Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
How are you, sir? Oh you know what I did?
Speaker 5 (01:00:20):
Hold on?
Speaker 1 (01:00:20):
I forgot George. You gotta forgive me. He's on actually
because I didn't switch.
Speaker 5 (01:00:25):
So can you pick it?
Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
Can you pick him up? Joey?
Speaker 5 (01:00:27):
I totally I don't even think I can get him here?
Speaker 14 (01:00:29):
Can I.
Speaker 5 (01:00:32):
I mean there he is. Nope, I have to do
the switch here.
Speaker 1 (01:00:36):
I forgot that. Since we're online, I have to do
the whole switch, and I didn't do that.
Speaker 6 (01:00:40):
I can pick him up.
Speaker 1 (01:00:41):
Okay, Well, yeah, I'm gonna get kicked off. Yeah you can.
You can put it back on it and I'll fix
my system over here. We're flying by the seat of
our pants. By the way, if I remember correctly, let
me go to the Red Sox score. That score is
eight to one at the top of the eighth Red
Sox in the lead, of course, eight to one against
the Minnesota twin.
Speaker 5 (01:01:00):
Actually, I got him now, I think I'm good.
Speaker 1 (01:01:01):
Now, let me see if I can get him. No,
I did not. Now I gotta go here. Let me
see if this works. Now, this should be able to
get him. George, you have a recent radio How are you, sir.
Speaker 9 (01:01:14):
Hi Reese.
Speaker 11 (01:01:15):
I'm surprised this is not in the news. About twenty
four hours ago one of the biggest earthquakes ever hit
hit Siberia.
Speaker 2 (01:01:25):
Yeah, actually in Russia.
Speaker 1 (01:01:27):
Topy hours cover it.
Speaker 11 (01:01:28):
Okay, So, so why why is this important hit the
Yamail Peninsula. That's the peninsula just west of of of
of Siberia of Alaska. If if you're looking at a map,
so why is this important? I would say a good
(01:01:49):
fraction of the US oil and gas production just got
knocked out.
Speaker 5 (01:01:55):
Good point, you say, you're saying.
Speaker 11 (01:01:58):
Here, here, here, here, Let me let me explain what
this is. Put everybody, place your two fingers together. Okay,
Now imagine an eight Now imagine an eight point eight
earthquake hitting Those two fingers are now misaligned. Every oil,
every gas well in eastern Siberia are a good percentage
(01:02:20):
probably got knocked out. So their oil and gas productions
production is is is UH is probably at least gone
a percent of a percentage you are talking about now
you're talking about Russias, right, you are talking about Russias.
I'm talking about I'm talking about Russia. Yeah, now that
and they relying they rely on they rely on revenues, right,
(01:02:45):
oil and gas productions.
Speaker 1 (01:02:46):
Let me ask you a strategic question, George, just a
strategic based upon what you're talking about. My mind's moving
a mile a minute while you're saying that. So let's
say a considerable amount of structural damage is done to
their oil supply. Right, So there, in essence, this is
how they're making money with sanctions and all that other
stuff that possibly they are coming Do you think with
that kind of damage and that kind of that resource
(01:03:09):
being sort of taken away from them or kind of
hamorrhaging them in some degree, do you think that brings
them more to the bargaining table with Donald The answers.
Speaker 11 (01:03:18):
Yes, Okay, the answer is yes, because the revenues aren't
coming in for the oil and gas production, right, so
they may.
Speaker 1 (01:03:24):
Need the cease fire that Donald Trump is trying to
to get because of this.
Speaker 11 (01:03:30):
Correct.
Speaker 1 (01:03:31):
Wow, it's a good.
Speaker 11 (01:03:31):
Point, Okay that that put that peninsula is a is
a big natural gas producer and more than likely when
an eight point eight hit, it a good a good
part of a gas production on that EML y A
m a L peninsula is out. That's where the epicenter
(01:03:52):
was was on that peninsula. I watched those I don't
know why they're not I don't know why they're not
talking about this because at eight point eight, you know,
we're really talking about shaking your boots here.
Speaker 15 (01:04:05):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:04:05):
I watched a little bit of the video of I
think it was in another region, and I think a
March earthquake that was a seven point one. They showed
a couple who was up on a high rise pool
and they showed the magnitude of a seven point one.
My wife and I were watching it last night and
we're going, holy crap, Like this couple almost ended up
(01:04:26):
over the over the side of this high rise building.
The way the water was showing, the way the way.
Speaker 11 (01:04:32):
They measure that scale, it's exponential. Yeah, so on eight
point eight exponentially is a whole lot bigger than a
seven point one.
Speaker 5 (01:04:43):
It's one of the biggest in the region. Is that correct?
Speaker 11 (01:04:46):
Yeah, yeah, it is. But I know why they're not
talking about this. I would say oil and gas production
at least a good percent. It's just it's been knocked
out in Russia.
Speaker 5 (01:04:58):
I can tell you what I think, and you can
tell me if you agree or not.
Speaker 1 (01:05:01):
I think that what what has kept the United States
to talk about this in any meaningful way was let's
start this way. So when we first heard about it,
people were concerned about the title wave. All Right, the
tsunami that would hit was certainly going to hit the
West coast. It was gonna hit Alaska. We're gonna see
it get alongside. Yeah, we're gonna see right. Why so
(01:05:24):
I started watching the video of the obvious you know,
repercussions of the earthquake start to hit the California coast.
Speaker 5 (01:05:31):
I watched it early this morning, and the waves were obvious.
Speaker 1 (01:05:34):
They was you know, considerable but nothing you know, like
there's big wall or anything, but there was considerable change
in the water.
Speaker 9 (01:05:41):
Now.
Speaker 1 (01:05:41):
I think what happened was was that the news media
sort of looked at it and said, oh, well, it's
not as bad as we would have liked, and kind
of moved on.
Speaker 11 (01:05:49):
Yes, yeah, well, you know what's going on. The Earth
is and motion right now. The pole is no longer
in the same position that was you know, a couple
of hundred years ago, but it's been shifting even considerably
(01:06:09):
more recently. So there's shifts. There's shifts, magnetic shifts, and
ground shifts going on underneath underneath your feet as we
speak right now. Even GPS is no longer where it was,
you know. Uh, you know one hundred years, say a
hundred years ago, everything shifted, but we're talking about a
(01:06:33):
considerable amount of shifting going on probably.
Speaker 16 (01:06:37):
Uh.
Speaker 11 (01:06:37):
And if you if you look at this, looked up
earthquakes on you know, call it up on on and
and you'll you'll see more activities going on.
Speaker 1 (01:06:47):
Expected, you know what, Like I said that this could
be beneficial to us. That was the way I looked
at it. So, I mean, that's kind of why I
looked at the way I did.
Speaker 5 (01:07:00):
Let me get to yeah, I.
Speaker 2 (01:07:01):
Could do this.
Speaker 5 (01:07:02):
I can I can take this. Now, let's go to Mark.
Speaker 1 (01:07:04):
What's going on, sir?
Speaker 14 (01:07:06):
So real quick?
Speaker 17 (01:07:08):
I I can hear Tony Garira, Tony Toles. We call
them a big fraud from DMV. You have to ask
Joey unless you could do it. WTIC News department played
every half hour a sound bite from Tony Toles just
within It was either yesterday or the day before, and
(01:07:29):
anybody that listened to it with fink that those plates
were going to be feeding Connecticut's hungry I know, but
can you find it? I would love to hear it
again because I don't know a verbatim.
Speaker 4 (01:07:43):
But boy, I hope WTIC News.
Speaker 17 (01:07:46):
Department will try to grab a different sound bite now
that we know the gig is up, you try to
find it because it was fascinating.
Speaker 1 (01:07:54):
They played it all day long, and I think that's
the reason why the Connecticut Mirror did this story today
because he's That's what when you looked at it, it says,
when it comes to a specialty license play promoting pizza
and charity, you got to read the fine print or
at least understand the limits of a phrase on Connecticut's
newest specialty tag supporting Connecticut's food Share. And again, when
(01:08:18):
you read that and when it was promoted, I'm sure
everybody got the idea that, oh man, this whole thing
is in partnership with food Share and food Insecurity and
then the Connecticut I think, who's the guy who wrote this?
Uh Met pasnikis, Mark Paznisis he wrote the article. And
of course you know he sounds in this article just
(01:08:39):
as surprised as everybody else is.
Speaker 17 (01:08:43):
Well, let's, uh, let's try to get Tony, like I said,
get that W News department if they're gonna play sound bites.
And now we find out that, you know, he's fraudulent
again in his statements. Why don't we do follow ups?
Speaker 14 (01:08:57):
What Tony? We played you all baby other day?
Speaker 4 (01:09:01):
What is going on? Well? Who can you play it?
If you find.
Speaker 9 (01:09:06):
Who?
Speaker 17 (01:09:10):
Tony Carera is the DMV commissioner, he is, He's the
big cheese. So he actually spoke on on behalf of
the DMV presenting gas lighting whatever you want to call it,
this false narrative.
Speaker 14 (01:09:26):
That people who bought these plates.
Speaker 17 (01:09:28):
I really want to hear it again because if I
remember correctly that again not verbatim, but if my takeaway was, man,
we're going to feed a lot of hungry people in
Connecticut if.
Speaker 14 (01:09:37):
You purchase these plates.
Speaker 17 (01:09:39):
But but it's got the sound bites got to be
there somewhere. It's like forty eight hours old. Okay, so
Joey or please play it for your listeners so we
could point out again this is the commissioner. You know,
he makes a lot of money. This guy has been
lying like every other well I'm not even gonna say Democrat,
any other elected appointed official. He's your classic gas lightings.
Speaker 1 (01:10:04):
Well here's let me get let me get to that
part that you bring up. So, Tony Guerrera, the Commissioner
of the Motor Vehicles. This is from the article Tony Garrera,
the Commissioner of Motive Vehicles has no authority to unilattery
direct DMV fees to charity. When he does, it's at
the direction of the General Assembly. The Legislator's Office of
(01:10:25):
of Sorry. The Legislature's Office of Legislature Research lists sixteen
instances where lawmakers have mandated that a charity get a cut.
They include plates commemorating the Amistad Slave Uprising and promoting
environmental animal welfare in children's health issues, as well as
the US Olympic Team. For every cure Kid's cancer plate sold,
(01:10:47):
for example, ten dollars goes to the pediatric oncology units
at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center. And so, yeah, so
apparently he's making claims that in essence he really he
doesn't have any control of. But I'm not sure. Well,
let me find the sound bite and then then we'll
find out whether or not there's been a mix up.
Speaker 17 (01:11:08):
I can't wait to hear it.
Speaker 1 (01:11:10):
You got it, all right, you got it all right.
Let's take a break.
Speaker 5 (01:11:12):
We're gonna come back.
Speaker 1 (01:11:13):
We got more news, more views. Uh, and we'll check
the score of the Red Sox. In fact, it look
like they're wrapping it up soon enough. Yep, we're at
the top of the ninth and we'll see whether or
not the Red Sox will eke this one out eight
to one. Yeah, right, let's get to the w t
I S news room with John Silva. It's Rees on
the radio.
Speaker 3 (01:11:32):
Greese on the radio making sense of the news. Yeah,
even when it makes no sense at all at all.
Now until a U T I see news talk to eight,
It's different.
Speaker 7 (01:11:43):
Was a Kenny Rogers song for you Table.
Speaker 12 (01:11:47):
If you run out of it Junes, that means you
sound you got.
Speaker 6 (01:11:55):
I've heard the Gambler Remax. Why I know.
Speaker 12 (01:12:04):
Before you touch that turn table, Ja you run out of.
Speaker 18 (01:12:09):
That means.
Speaker 1 (01:12:12):
I remember when this came out, and I gotta tell
you the part that made me so angry about this
was just like, first of all y Cleff Jean, with
the exception of p did he please stop taking classics
and ruining them?
Speaker 4 (01:12:24):
Stop?
Speaker 7 (01:12:24):
That was the whole era, though hip hop could not
come up with the original song from like ninety two
to ninety nine and then maybe into the two thousands.
Speaker 1 (01:12:34):
It was so typical of news. I mean, I'm sorry
of these record labels. That was just what do with
the other guys doing just do that?
Speaker 5 (01:12:42):
And it was just so bad. Why The best line
I've ever heard about y Cleve Jean was a.
Speaker 1 (01:12:49):
Was a disc track by l O Cool J against
cannabis during that whole beef and y Clef Jean was
the guy who was putting a battery on cannabis is
back and referred to referred to y Cleff Jean as
the Bob Marley and Foster, which has always been my
favorite line because it was he was really going on
(01:13:12):
a real Bob Marley sort of thing, like about like
he wanted to be the Haitian Bob Marley. Yeah, it's
just oh, it's he had one album I love though.
The Carnival album was absolute classic yep. But the other
stuff that he was just so over the top. I
tell I can tell you a story you didn't know.
You may not have known this.
Speaker 6 (01:13:32):
Hey, I still have Fuji's the score on YouTube.
Speaker 9 (01:13:35):
I love.
Speaker 5 (01:13:36):
That's probably you know why that album was so brilliant.
They never released the single.
Speaker 6 (01:13:41):
No, it's like, here's the album, figure out what to dude?
Speaker 1 (01:13:43):
Yeah exactly, And like every song they put out on
that album, they put it on the radio and then
you had to buy the album. You couldn't buy the single.
That's what promoted it and made it platinum in record time.
But I tell you a story about y Clef John
and people don't forget and it sort of ties in
a little bit into today's news.
Speaker 5 (01:14:00):
A couple of maybe a week or.
Speaker 1 (01:14:02):
So ago, I was talking about the pettiness of a
guy like Barack Hussein Obama. A lot of people forget this,
but this actually happened. Why because I was on the
inside watching it. Barack Obama put the FEDS on y
Cleft Jean. Do you know that?
Speaker 5 (01:14:21):
Did you know that?
Speaker 6 (01:14:22):
I remember hearing something about that.
Speaker 5 (01:14:24):
Yeah, okay, what happened was you remember the Haitian earthquake?
Speaker 1 (01:14:29):
Yeah, that's right. So why Cleft Jean, Because of course
he was one of the most popular Haitians of that time,
was running a charity on the biggest hip hop network
in New York, Hot ninety seven, and he had this
whole you know, code and all this other stuff to use.
Speaker 5 (01:14:47):
Well, sure enough.
Speaker 1 (01:14:48):
At the same time, the Obama administration wanted their code
to be the official code of Haitian release a relief,
and they called it instead of just a joint effort,
they considered it to be dueling relief. Why Clef Jean,
on the other hand, because of his popularity, because of
course he's of Haitian descent, he was the pre eminent
(01:15:10):
guy for Haitian relief, and all the money was going
to him. No one was paying attention to Obama's charity. Well,
that didn't sit well with Obarack Obama. Next thing you know,
the Feds were crawling up the nether regions of y
cleff Jean and he got dragged inrough mind. A lot
of people forget that, but y clefft does not.
Speaker 6 (01:15:30):
It was almost sixteen million.
Speaker 1 (01:15:31):
Yeah, was it sixteen million?
Speaker 6 (01:15:33):
Yep?
Speaker 1 (01:15:34):
Is that how much he pulled in?
Speaker 9 (01:15:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (01:15:36):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:15:37):
And the crazy part is is the what was it?
Who was the the was it the whose administration? It
was Obama's administration. It got all the money, but it
was if I remember Clinton, who fleeced it. Yes, that's
I'm almost certain right that if I'm almost certain that
Clinton got a lot of heat back because people said
(01:15:58):
that they didn't know where the money he was at
the end, and a lot of criticism went to the
Clinton campaign from that. Herbert Walker Bush got a little
bit of beef on that too, because they did they
went into that venture together. It was like this whole
bipartisan thing with Herbert Walker Bush and and and Bill
Clinton that didn't didn't pan out very well, it was
(01:16:19):
all crazy. I remember the y Cliff Sean thing, but
they that was a little gritty. People didn't even know
how to respond to that.
Speaker 5 (01:16:26):
I was like, I kind of like y Cleff, but
I don't want to crap on Obama. They allowed it
to slide.
Speaker 1 (01:16:34):
White Mike says, have you ever seen a w NBA
player named Cameron Brinks. She's six floor six,' flour blonde
and built like a. Supermodel do you know?
Speaker 9 (01:16:44):
Her?
Speaker 6 (01:16:44):
Yep where'd she?
Speaker 1 (01:16:45):
Play who's she?
Speaker 6 (01:16:46):
PLAYED i think she's just coming back.
Speaker 1 (01:16:47):
Too she was.
Speaker 5 (01:16:48):
Injured that's, Right, okay, YEAH i do remember.
Speaker 1 (01:16:51):
Her i'd need. TO i need to know who she plays.
Speaker 5 (01:16:53):
For i've seen.
Speaker 6 (01:16:55):
Her Cameron brink Sparks Los, angeles.
Speaker 5 (01:16:58):
Sparks right place for he.
Speaker 1 (01:17:01):
Also let me See democratic FORMER Us President Kamala harris
said On wednesday that she will not run for governor Of,
california ending speculation that the failed presidential candidate would seek
a high profile. Post, Well, donald let's slow down twenty twenty.
Eight she's still polling pretty, high so she may come.
(01:17:21):
Back AND i think if it's any consolation to anybody
on the left who hated losing this, Election Kamala harris
is probably your best. Shot having done it and, Lost
Hillary clinton did it twice and lost. Twice this time,
Around Kamala, harris could you, know she's got some. Time
maybe she, can you, know bone up on some policy
(01:17:45):
points of, view maybe get some interviews, in learn how
to not be, awkward maybe get rid of a lot.
Speaker 6 (01:17:51):
Enough time for her to figure out that.
Speaker 1 (01:17:52):
Out it, is believe it or, not there's a lot of.
Time there's a lot of.
Speaker 5 (01:17:56):
Time she doesn't have to announce until what the end
of twenty, six twenty.
Speaker 1 (01:18:01):
Seven, yeah you, know so she's got a lot of
time to do her, revamping to get her stuff.
Speaker 5 (01:18:06):
Together so hopefully that will.
Speaker 1 (01:18:07):
Work, hey speaking of, WHICH i want to get into
something THAT i mentioned in the headlines about people trying
to revamp themselves as. Fighters did you watch this video
or hear about this audio Of Corey, booker which is Embarrassing.
Democrats they're really really outraged at this because they don't
(01:18:30):
understand what this is.
Speaker 5 (01:18:31):
About let me play it for you and then tell
you what the deal.
Speaker 1 (01:18:34):
IS i demand.
Speaker 19 (01:18:36):
Justice it's time for democrats have a. Backbone it's time
for us to. Fight it's time for us to draw
lines and when it comes to the safety of my
state being denied these, Grants that's Why i'm standing.
Speaker 1 (01:18:47):
Here don't question my, integrity.
Speaker 9 (01:18:49):
Don't question my.
Speaker 19 (01:18:50):
Motives i'm standing For, jersey i am standing for my police,
Officers i'm standing for The, constitution And i'm standing for what's.
Speaker 5 (01:18:58):
Right blah blah blah blah blah blah.
Speaker 1 (01:19:00):
Blah, Well democrats are not happy about this because he
went on that rant to Admonish democrats for not doing
anything Against Donald. Trump and even Though democrats do not
have the testicular fortitude to stand up and Tell Corey
booker what, for they're just sitting by pretending that they
(01:19:20):
didn't see. Anything let me first tell you the reason
Why Corey booker can do that's kind of stupid antic
and not be called out. One he's, black and The
Democrat party has literally hogtied itself from criticizing black members
Of congress or black members of The senate from pulling
(01:19:42):
stupid stunts like. That they cannot because they cannot talk
to black people in any. Way they can't be critical of.
Them they have to let them do what they have to.
Do if you don't believe, me go read The atlantic
article About Jasmine crockett where the reporter asked people to
go on the record to talk about their criticism of,
her and what did they. Do they, Hid they talk the,
(01:20:05):
truth but, anonymously which is the. Case they're afraid of black.
Folks cannot operate. Them they're scant to. Death this, is
by the, way also the reason WHY i know That
Jonathan debarros is great for The Republican party because he
sounds like A democrat to, Them but then they find
(01:20:29):
out what he's about and it scares. Them they can't operate.
Them they's, LIKE i can't say anything critical because them
themselves would call themselves racist if they. Did he's. Perfect
he's like it's like a stick of dynamite to. Him
it's like he's like a. Grenade they don't know what to.
DO i love it, Anyway But Corey, booker to his
(01:20:52):
point screaming and hollering About democrats doing. Nothing no one
has the gumption to give this guy a refresher on
what's going. On SO i looked it up As corn
forgot about the nationwide protests that we. Got From february To,
july thousands protested across THE us Against trump, policies including
(01:21:12):
his immigration, crackdown rollback of transgender, rights environmental policy.
Speaker 5 (01:21:17):
Changes demonstrations occurred.
Speaker 1 (01:21:19):
In cities Like Los, Angeles, washington D, C, Montgomery, alabama
with specific actions like the Stand up For science protest
against cuts to federal science. Agencies protesters In minneapolis targeted targets,
headquarters chanting against the companies for their alleged Supporting trump's.
Agenda that's getting rid of you, know transgender clothing inside the.
(01:21:41):
School these protests were often, peaceful but included calls for civil,
disobedience with some activities advocating the tactics reminiscent of the
nineteen sixties civil rights era elected officials physical. Resistance back
In june of twenty twenty, five Some democratic leaders escalated
tactics by physics intervening in immigration related. Actions for, Example
(01:22:04):
Senator Alex, Paedia democrat Of, california was involved in a
physical altercation with federal agents while protesting an immigration detention.
Speaker 5 (01:22:12):
Center, TODAY i forget.
Speaker 1 (01:22:13):
That New York city control Of Brad launder was detained
By ice officials for shielding immigrants outside of court. Hearings
sound like they're not doing anything legal and state level.
Resistance From november of twenty twenty four after the election
To july of this, Year democrats state, leaders particularly in blue,
states Pursued trump proofing.
Speaker 5 (01:22:33):
Strategies Governor Gavin newsom called.
Speaker 1 (01:22:36):
A special legislative sentence accession to bolster legal defenses Against
trump's policies.
Speaker 5 (01:22:41):
On civil, rights, climate and.
Speaker 1 (01:22:43):
Immigration attorney generals and progressive groups filed dozens of lawsuits
Against trump's, administration securing favorable.
Speaker 5 (01:22:50):
Rulings in some, cases local, officials Like San.
Speaker 1 (01:22:53):
Francisco District Attorney Brook Jenny, jenkins refused to assist federal immigration,
authorities aligning with borughder resistance. Efforts it's not like they're
not doing. Anything they've done it. All what he's failing to,
Realize Corey, booker is everything that they've done has fallen flat.
Speaker 5 (01:23:15):
Because they don't.
Speaker 1 (01:23:17):
Care the base doesn't, care and the base keeps giving
them poor ratings after they pull these. Stunts and it's
not because of their. Inaction it, Isn't it. Isn't the
reason why they're failing is because they haven't talked about
anything that relates to. Them their arguments and their fights
(01:23:42):
are about silly, things talking about billionaires and millionaires is
a stupid. Fight the class warfare is too old for
people to care. About it's run its. Course you ever
get to a point in your life where being poor
(01:24:02):
is so frustrating you start thinking of ways to get.
Speaker 5 (01:24:07):
Rich do you ever think that there are people out there.
Speaker 1 (01:24:12):
Who are so frustrated with struggling they actually start thinking
of ideas about how they can become, wealthier starting a,
business doing side, hustles going. ONLINE i go online all the.
Time this is, crazy BUT i go online a lot
(01:24:34):
to find out what's the big trend in side. Hustles
and they have all of these great sights and great
influencers who give you lists of jobs that you can
do making, hundreds if not thousands of dollars a. Month
it's a big, trend and these guys have millions of
(01:24:54):
followers and millions of.
Speaker 6 (01:24:56):
Views no one wants to see your, Feet.
Speaker 9 (01:25:01):
No they.
Speaker 1 (01:25:01):
DON'T i would, never by the, way That i've never
seen anything that suggests you just start taking photographs of your. Feet, however,
however that's a great. Point, however there are every TIME
i talk about these side, hustles people always bring that. Up, Joey,
yes people Say, HEY i, mean do people really like?
Like people always ask that And i'm GOING i don't,
(01:25:23):
know but from WHAT i, hear it is. Lucrative so
but everybody's trying to find a side hustle without a.
Speaker 14 (01:25:28):
Doubt.
Speaker 5 (01:25:29):
Yea so my point about this is is that what is?
That what does that stem?
Speaker 1 (01:25:34):
From? Right so people are no longer waiting for the
hero or for government to save. Them that's not people
are self. Reliant and, Remember i'll tell, You i'll go
one step further and using the the temperature of our
politics as a reasonable.
Speaker 5 (01:25:54):
Explanation one of the commercials that.
Speaker 1 (01:26:00):
Came out immediately When congress was voting on banning, TikTok
the first commercials that TikTok ran, everywhere billions of dollars
they ran on a campaign was videos or commercials about
mom and, pops like farmers and influencers who were small
(01:26:24):
business owners who said in those, commercials if you ban,
TikTok it'll hurt my, Business if you ban, TikTok it
will destroy WHAT i built from. SCRATCH i take care of.
MYSELF i take care of my. Family and guess, what people.
Listen Donald trump even. Listened that's why he gave an
extension on TikTok because it wasn't just about watching silly videos.
(01:26:49):
Anymore people were turning this into, businesses a new. Hustle
so this idea That democrats are running around screaming and
hollering given this Look bronan ad talking about making life for.
Speaker 5 (01:27:04):
People let me get the quote because.
Speaker 1 (01:27:06):
The quote's, important and as soon AS i read, IT
i was, LIKE i can't play this audio is too damn.
Boring listen to what he says. Here he, says that's
the type of energy and Urgency i'll be bringing to the.
Job he, Says i'll fight like hell every day to do.
That we need members Of congress, who from the minute
(01:27:27):
that they wake up to the minute that they go to,
sleep work relentlessly to make life, easier, healthier and more
affordable for Every.
Speaker 5 (01:27:34):
American, well people know the government can't do.
Speaker 3 (01:27:37):
That.
Speaker 1 (01:27:38):
Now you can't try and say you're going to do
it every day every four years for decades and never.
Deliver and then people start realizing on their own and
sharing with, Themselves, hey you can do this too and
make some money for.
Speaker 5 (01:27:56):
Yourself this reliance on government an old, Story it's an old.
Cause no one's waiting for you to save. Them they
are saving.
Speaker 1 (01:28:06):
Themselves so When Corey booker or anybody else out there
is wondering why they're polling at nineteen, percent and this
whole nonsense about their, messaging it's not the.
Speaker 5 (01:28:16):
Messaging it's the. Message you can no longer run On
we're going to save.
Speaker 3 (01:28:23):
You you.
Speaker 1 (01:28:24):
Can't now you have to start a message that, says,
hey we're gonna get out of your. Way But democrats can't,
because Like Hunter, biden their drug, addicts they are addicted
to the power to run your. Life they're addicted to
the power of telling you how to live and securing
(01:28:48):
the way in which you, live gun, control, healthcare all of.
It they don't understand that their job is to seed,
power not take. It that's why they're. Failing we'll take a,
Break we'll come. Back more, news more, views your phone.

Speaker 1 (01:31:15):
Months Letitia. James Letitia james has filed the lawsuit against
The trump, administration as Did William. Tong he also filed
the lawsuit against The trump. Administration why, well that's, simple
(01:31:37):
ladies and. Gentlemen it's for something that they have been
telling us wasn't. Happening when the big beautiful bill was
being hashed out between The house And. Senate Came, jeffries
pushing back On republicans who said The medicare cuts and
the snap food stamp, CUTS i guess that's. Redundant but,
(01:32:01):
anyway the food stamp cuts were cuts of folks who
were not supposed to get, them like. Illegals in that,
pushback what did Hawkme jeffrey, Say, well he said, this and.
Speaker 16 (01:32:17):
On the current, law undocumented immigrants are already ineligible For,
medicaid THE aca exchanges infants. Benefits not a single undocumented
immigrant in this. Country it's a dime in federal taxpayer
dollars for any part of Comprehensive medicaid.
Speaker 1 (01:32:37):
Coverage not, one not, one he. Said he was strong at,
that not, one not one of. Them and WHEN i
looked it, UP i wanted to make sure as of this,
state undocumented immigrants often referred to as, legals were generally
not eligible are generally not eligible for Regular, medicaid supplemental
(01:33:00):
nutrition assistance, programs snap food. Stamp same. Thing under federal,
law the nineteen ninety Six Personal responsibility And Work opportunity
Recon Reconciliation act establish strict restrictions barring undocumented immigrants from
most federally funded public programs and, benefits including these. Programs,
(01:33:25):
however there are, limits and there are, exceptions like Emergency.
Medicaid illegals can access Emergency medicaid for urgent medical care
like labor and, delivery or life threatening conditions if they
meet other eligibility criteria like income through this covers only
(01:33:50):
immediate needs and not ongoing. Care this accounts for less
than one percent of total medicaid. Spending that is the.
Law UNDER, snap illegal immigrants are ineligible FOR snap. Benefits,
however in mixed status households. Eg WITH us citizen, children
(01:34:16):
eligible members can receive benefits and the undocumented presence doesn't
disqualify the. Household though the undocumented individual illegal individual cannot directly.
Benefit it is, Illegal.
Speaker 5 (01:34:37):
So you gotta ask yourself what Is Letitia james talking.
Speaker 20 (01:34:42):
About THE snap program is a critical lifeline for tens
of millions Of americans throughout our country and specifically two
point Nine New yorkers. EVERYDAY snap benefits make it possible
for working families to afford to put food on the,
table and more than half of those who RECEIVE snap
are families with, children and more than a third have elderly.
Speaker 2 (01:35:02):
Or disabled family.
Speaker 20 (01:35:03):
Members WITHOUT, snap many families would not be able to
count on their next. Meal for, DECADES snap has prevented
people from going hungry and save countless. Lives but now
this administration is attempting to use this program as a
tool in their cruel and chaotic targeting of.
Speaker 2 (01:35:21):
Immigrants it is out.
Speaker 5 (01:35:24):
What targeting of immigrants.
Speaker 3 (01:35:29):
Is?
Speaker 21 (01:35:29):
It, Though.
Speaker 1 (01:35:32):
I'm almost certain it is illegal. Immigrants but you know
how this, works, right they say, immigrants they mean all
legal and.
Speaker 5 (01:35:41):
Illegal.
Speaker 20 (01:35:43):
Rageous it is, unacceptable and this administration has demanded that
state's handover sensitive personal information of ALL snap recipients going
back to twenty.
Speaker 1 (01:35:53):
Twenty i'm down with. That i'm down with. That what's
wrong with? That you get federal, Money we want to
know who you, are where you. Live you want to hide, them?
Latitia do you want to keep them hidden from the
actual government program that's providing them with food and medical? Expenses?
(01:36:17):
Right what are you talking? About you think that it's
unlawful that we should ask the people that we give
money to their, information or should people just be able
to come into the country and just Go i'll take
from that.
Speaker 5 (01:36:28):
Basket i'll take from that.
Speaker 1 (01:36:30):
Basket, hell people even put take one in the basket
sitting outside the house on A. Halloween just take. One
these guys they just want people coming in and take
anything that they. Want what's the reason of having an
application to get. Medicaid what's the reason of having an
(01:36:50):
application to get snapped if we're just giving it, away
what are we asking for all of the information for
in the first.
Speaker 5 (01:36:56):
Place why why we're Bothering if.
Speaker 1 (01:37:00):
You just want to give it to them for, nothing
if you want to give them to them free of
charge without any, scrutiny why do we Bother just give
it it the whole. Process just go show, up walk
up to the, door and say give me my food
stamps and end. It by the, way the process would
be a lot shorter that, way wouldn't. It all the
bureaucracy and red. Tape people wouldn't be sitting in those
offices for. Hours, letitia if you just want to get
(01:37:22):
rid of the whole you, know the status, quo you
could just do. THAT i, mean if you folks had your,
way wouldn't that be the, case wouldn't it just be
let's just forget about.
Speaker 5 (01:37:31):
It you show up and then we pay.
Speaker 20 (01:37:33):
You that includes addresses social security, numbers immigration.
Speaker 1 (01:37:40):
Statuses they don't have social security. Numbers that's the point and.
More and the crazy part about it is is THAT
i just read you the. Law Letitia james went on
to say.
Speaker 20 (01:37:53):
This this is not for, research order improve a service
that means count. On, no they are basically trying to
weaponize the staff program against immigrant communities in violation of the.
Speaker 4 (01:38:05):
LAW whoa.
Speaker 1 (01:38:10):
That is the pot calling the. Kettle they ain't it
to violate the?
Speaker 9 (01:38:16):
Law what?
Speaker 5 (01:38:16):
Law the law is being broken every.
Speaker 1 (01:38:20):
Day slow, down slow. Down that makes no sense to,
Me donald Says. Reese why is hunger increased by eleven
percent from last? YEAR i don't. Know i'm not in
the mindset or in the households of the eleven percent
(01:38:43):
that are suffering from.
Speaker 5 (01:38:45):
Hunger why do you think it? IS i, mean don't
ask the question if you don't have an.
Speaker 1 (01:38:51):
Answer donald also Asked, reese so the Food share is
the answer to the hunger problem in this? Country? Really
DID i say? That you seem to be asserting SOMETHING
i never brought. Up WHAT i am saying is that
why wouldn't THE dmv share the profits with Food, share
(01:39:15):
at least with five dollars per?
Speaker 5 (01:39:16):
Plate why?
Speaker 1 (01:39:18):
Not that doesn't make any. Sense people are under the
impression already that's what's being. Done a federal agency that's
taking all the proceeds while they're giving the impression that
the people who are buying the license plate are doing
some good for Food, share when indeed the only thing
they're doing is allowing Food share to put the license
(01:39:40):
plate link on their, website which then might get people
to donate to Food. Share that's what we call the
bait and. Switch, hey you can help us promoted Food. Share,
yeah we will put a link on your, website and
then they can get the you, know maybe if they
might want to, share you, know give you some money
(01:40:02):
as well while they're going to pick up a license.
Speaker 5 (01:40:04):
Plate you never, know and it's just a promotional.
Speaker 1 (01:40:07):
Deal listening by the, way mark my, WORDS i give
it seventy two, hours seventy two, hours the world will get,
out and guess what they'll change, course.
Speaker 5 (01:40:24):
Now that people, know if the word's.
Speaker 1 (01:40:25):
Gonna get, out nobody's gonna give Buy, no what type
of stupidness stupidity is that no one's gonna give money
to buy a license plate that isn't actually going to help.
Speaker 5 (01:40:35):
People and it's not.
Speaker 1 (01:40:36):
That, again the other part, is and this is the
most important, Part, donald that flies in the face of your.
Logic people are already struggling to make ends, meet which
is why the food share program is. Needed so do
you think that anybody who's going to buy a license,
plate thinking that they're already helping food, share only to
(01:41:00):
learn that they have to double dip in order to
help food share are going to buy the license plate
or are going to double dip in their wallets?
Speaker 5 (01:41:10):
Anyway, no they're.
Speaker 1 (01:41:12):
Not they're under the impression that buying the license plate
serves that purpose, already the part that you were failing to.
Realize and this is what makes your whole point, assinine.
Disingenuous DARE i say lying you don't give a damn
(01:41:37):
about the food share and you appear to be protecting
the status quo the government here by, saying, well Food
share was going to be solving the hunger problem with their.
Means the little, Contribution every little bit, helps doesn't. It
(01:42:01):
if you do, nothing you get nothing from. It you
put in what you or you get out what you put.
In you seem to be running interference for THE. DMV
i think you might very well be the first person
to ever do that in. History do you work for the?
(01:42:21):
Bureaucrats we're talking about providing for charity the people who
are the most, Vulnerable and IF i Remember, donald that's
your biggest issue with government and the in society today
is that they don't care about the. Poor and Here
(01:42:42):
i'm handing that opportunity to. You that tells you That
Governor lamont and THE dmv are not even, contributing not
even giving money that they get from the license plate
and giving it to the charity that they're associated. With
and you took the side of the. State, now either
(01:43:06):
you're a hypocrite or nothing about you as, genuine or
maybe you're just running opposition To reese on a radio
because that's the knee jerk. Reaction reese is opposed to,
something so you're gonna be in the opposite of, that
even if it's promoting the, government which again sounds ridiculous to.
(01:43:30):
Me HERE i am standing for the. Vulnerable HERE i
am standing for the. Charity and you decide to stand
up for THE. Dmv take a, walk, seriously think about.
Yourself fume says hunger prices went up due to fast
food COST.
Speaker 5 (01:43:51):
I would probably agree with part of. That i'm sure
that played a.
Speaker 1 (01:43:54):
Role carmela, says it's like food share is being used
to make money for THE.
Speaker 5 (01:44:00):
Dmv great Point. Carmela great, point.
Speaker 1 (01:44:06):
That's the. Hook you use food, share go to their,
website you buy the license. Plate, oh by the, way
maybe i'll. Donate people are already under the impression they're doing.
Speaker 11 (01:44:20):
That.
Speaker 5 (01:44:23):
Tony he's in the chat.
Speaker 1 (01:44:25):
Room he, Says procter And gamble gambles say inflation is
caused by.
Speaker 5 (01:44:30):
Tariffs, yeah, okay HERE i am. Again let me do
it this, way Tim what do you?
Speaker 1 (01:44:37):
Say what do you?
Speaker 5 (01:44:41):
Say what do you?
Speaker 9 (01:44:43):
Know so?
Speaker 1 (01:44:45):
What procter And gamble said that inflation is caused by?
Tariffs this makes them the? Authority? Why Because procter And
gamble is a. Business so you're just gonna take their
word for. It you're just gonna suck on their. Kneecaps
is that what you're gonna tell?
Speaker 6 (01:44:58):
Me right?
Speaker 5 (01:44:59):
Now proctor And gamble said that this is. TRUE i
guess it must.
Speaker 1 (01:45:04):
Be argument.
Speaker 5 (01:45:05):
Over that's got the dumbest Response i've ever heard my entire.
Life work on.
Speaker 1 (01:45:11):
It please, people you're better than. THIS i don't give
a damn what. Reports a week ago they told us
that THE gdp was going to go. Down it went
up three. Percent please at this, point shut, up, like
what's it gonna. Take you have to wake up every
day and be proven. Wrong for you to just stop,
talking just be. Quiet if someone else is telling you
(01:45:35):
that it's going in another.
Speaker 5 (01:45:36):
Direction. Listen the media and everybody else has been lying to.
Speaker 4 (01:45:39):
You you know.
Speaker 5 (01:45:39):
It but for some, reason you guys. Refused you just
refuse to.
Speaker 1 (01:45:42):
Listen i'm. Done i'm done trying to tell you to.
Listen some of you just are that. Dumb, sorry hate
to be, cruel but that's what it. Is it's a
willingness forget about and you are not being. Duped you
are making the. Choice majority of port doesn't need leftover.
(01:46:07):
Foods they prefer to be self, sufficient of course they.
Speaker 5 (01:46:12):
Do, goodness, gracious no. Kidding let's get another check of weather.
Speaker 1 (01:46:18):
Traffic in the. News Jason kenery has got Whether Mark
christopher is in THE bps traffic.
Speaker 5 (01:46:22):
CENTER i gotta take.
Speaker 18 (01:46:22):
A, break, hey question for, you what what do you?
GOT i THINK i think that here's the. Confusion maybe license.
Plates now they've had The Long Island sound license plates
for quite a few years.
Speaker 5 (01:46:33):
Now, Yeah craig was just telling me about.
Speaker 1 (01:46:34):
Those.
Speaker 18 (01:46:35):
Yeah and and a portion of that license plate goes
to The Long Island sound fun which goes for cleaning
up and Protecting Long island. Sounds SO i think people
are used to, like, oh you get the specialty license,
plate a part of the portion of the fee you
pay goes to some sort of, chairitarity. RIGHT i think
that might be where the confusion is. Here we just
probably assume, that, oh we're getting the pizza license plate's
(01:46:58):
gonna in it and you and you get it through
food share and you get it through their, website and
a portion is going to go to the food.
Speaker 1 (01:47:04):
HERE i think that's that's probably where the confusion. Is,
YEAH i think. NO i think you're one hundred percent,
Right BUT i think they left it so. Ambiguous you
were left with the impression that it. Was and then
this article comes out and sort of, Explains, hey by the,
way that's not exactly.
Speaker 18 (01:47:21):
Happening and the impress in their ARTICLE i read IN
Ct inside the other, day that was the IMPRESSION i
walked away. With but this new article, says, no they're
not getting anything from. That SO i think that might
be where the confusion. Is, Hey i'm not giving the

THE snap, program not one single, person and their argument
was cuts to those programs were going to only harm,
(01:54:37):
ever you, know citizens who were on, it the, poor the,
elderly the, young which in, fact you, know according to the,
bill it is only to get people who don't belong
on the, roles or As Bill clinton once, said people
who can go to work off the get those folks
Off medicaid and put in sort of a working provision in.
Speaker 5 (01:54:54):

You there's no such thing as a Bad christian in your,
(01:59:54):
book because you're not the arbiter Of. Christianity you know
that the arrogance of that statement is. Obvious, second the
so called Good, CHRISTIAN i mean good, conservative are you
the arbiter of good? Conservatives BECAUSE i thought as a
big tent, party you could be any kind of conservative
you wanted. To you could be pro, abortion you could
be pro, choice you can be pro life as a.
(02:00:16):
Conservative there is no sort of sort of a cookie
cutter stamp of approval that you have to have or
a litmus test in order for you to be a.
Conservative you have Evangelical christians who are. Conservative you got
hippies who are. Conservative the point is is that there

won't have the conversation with these folks when they come
here and they do the screaming and hollowing and act
about what, they you, know being the arbiter of who's
A christian or?
Speaker 5 (02:01:32):
Conservative they and and by the, way he was.
Speaker 1 (02:01:34):
Neither but these people always coming to start telling everybody
how they need to Be christian or, conservative while he
is running around screaming liberal ideology on a daily.
Speaker 5 (02:01:44):
BASIS i don't listen to those.
Speaker 23 (02:01:46):
PEOPLE i would have, said get off the, cross we
need the Would but, anyway.
Speaker 9 (02:01:53):
So here's my.
Speaker 23 (02:01:54):
Segue as we you know in radio talk you were
talking earlier About Slim shady And Adam, taylor and remember that.
LINE i think it was one of his first hits
from swim. Shady will the real slim shady police stand? Up,
okay now here's give a. Segue the me, O i
(02:02:15):
can't pronounce. It cannley And New YORK.
Speaker 2 (02:02:21):
I had.
Speaker 23 (02:02:26):
SO i was watching real. QUICKLY i was, watching you,
KNOW i call it real News. Fox and he did
a press conference about the the unfortunate uh shootings In
New York. Monday and Again i'm learning more and more
and more about, politics not just from.
Speaker 9 (02:02:44):
You but you do help a. Lot you really forget a.
Coffee so.
Speaker 13 (02:02:50):
Now he retracts all what he said three four years
ago for the most, part.
Speaker 23 (02:02:55):
As far as defund the. Police, uh he's AGAINST i
think you can say anti gay OR i think it's.
Speaker 1 (02:03:03):
Well what he thought was and his stance was before
he found out his political. Viability he was screaming everything
that a leftist would scream In New York. City the
cops are, racist they're anti. Gay he of course is
the virtue, signaling you, know a person who is going
to save the city from. Itself and then this massacre takes, place,
(02:03:25):
which by the, way they never have the foresight to
know may. Happen and now all of a sudden he's
done a complete one eighty on his, policies especially when
it comes to. Police but why because there's political handlers
are telling him you're losing ground on this.
Speaker 5 (02:03:39):
Issue you need to, moderate and that's what he's.
Speaker 4 (02:03:42):
Doing you, KNOW i.
Speaker 23 (02:03:46):
Again capital age. Hypocrite is this WHAT i was? Watching
AND i was, thinking why would why does he want
to run? Anyway the guy is. RICH i know it's
probably about, power but the statement that really bothered me
was he, goes you, KNOW i went to the police
officers home today AND i hugged the father and he was,
crying And i'm, like, okay what about the other victims?
(02:04:08):
Families and it's, LIKE i, KNOW i just was really.
Angry and it's like And i'm not even From New,
york Whereas i've been there five times in my. Life
the first time was right DURING. COVID i would never
live In New, york BUT i love going. There but
Now i'll be, Honest i'm a little skeptical About.
Speaker 5 (02:04:25):
I'll be honest with.
Speaker 1 (02:04:26):
You, look is polling data still says that he's doing Comfortably,
well maybe we're missing.
Speaker 5 (02:04:31):
Something there's a, likelihood.
Speaker 1 (02:04:33):
BUT i gotta tell, you there's a little bit of
me AND i SOMETIMES i have to tell my wife
about This. Chip there's a little bit of. Me there's
a little AND i, Say i'm not, bitter BUT i
feel it a little. Bit there's a little bit of
me being From New york that really Wants New york
to experience what this guy wants to bring to, it
(02:04:54):
because it's got to come back from the early signs
of this of The blue. Administration BECAUSE i warned this
In bloomberg and people, said, HEY i thought you Said
bloomberg was gonna turn this into a socialist. City AND i,
said it was only the, beginning and now we're really
at the precipice of Changing New.
Speaker 5 (02:05:11):
York into something we won't. Recognize.
Speaker 1 (02:05:14):
Chip, SORRY i gotta let you go a little bit of.
NOISE i, apologize but thank you. Man it's just one
of those THINGS i know That bloomberg and people they
failed to realize, this but you could just look it.
Up people, thought and they laughed at me WHEN i
Said bloomberg was running around telling people that they that
he wanted to regulate you getting a big gulp drink
(02:05:38):
at the seven, eleven that he was trying, to you,
know control the amount of soda that people drank In
New York. City but here's the, rub and it was
the reason WHY i warned everybody that you gotta be
careful of guys like. Him here's the one thing no,
(02:05:58):
one going back to my earlier points about the news
in the, Media bloomberg stood on a stage With Michelle
obama holding a Big gulp in his, hand talking about
how he.
Speaker 2 (02:06:12):
Needed to get rid of.
Speaker 1 (02:06:13):
It here's what he didn't tell you in the news
media was reluctant to report seven elevens are scarce In
New York. City ask anyone who's lived there during that.
Time they're the most difficult franchise to. Find seven elevens
aren't a thing You Bodega's korean delis those rule the
(02:06:37):
roofs In New York. City they don't need seven. Elevens
so his attacking of The Big gulp was a stupid.
Argument and he could regulate a small. Franchise and it's
a big, franchise don't get me, wrong but it's. Small
it's almost infinitesimal as an organization In New York. City
(02:06:58):
that's why he went after, them because no one would.
Notice BUT i told everybody that was the beginning of the.
End everybody knows that seven elevens weren't ruling the roost
In New York. City damn, well not In. MANHATTAN i
had to move To Fort, Lee New jersey to find
a seven eleven a block away from my Home Fort,
Lee New, jersey right across The George Washington, bridge because
(02:07:20):
we had, none AND i lived on ninetieth And Third
avenue on The upper East. Side we had no seven eleven.
Speaker 5 (02:07:26):
Nearby let's get some weather and traffic and some.
Speaker 1 (02:07:29):
News when we, Returned Mark christopher's in A bps traffic,
center how are we?
Speaker 2 (02:07:33):

there anyway, Out but this is my.
Speaker 9 (02:11:42):
Thing run for, Governor, Okay, no, Yeah larson's gonna run
in the state. Again lamart's gonna run in the state.

in this. State why is?
Speaker 18 (02:11:55):
It?
Speaker 4 (02:11:56):
So you know?
Speaker 1 (02:11:57):
WHAT i was just reading a story yesterday about the
growing or the increase in rent prices or the cost
of living In connecticut every.
Speaker 9 (02:12:07):
Year, well let me stop you right. There, yeah let
me stop you right. THERE i live in a one bedroom. Apartment,
okay how much do you THINK i pay a month for? Rent?
Speaker 1 (02:12:16):
Oh, Man If i'm going to, guess just off the,
Rip i'm going to start you at nineteen.
Speaker 5 (02:12:23):
Hundred tell me If i'm higher? Low, hi higher higher than?
Speaker 9 (02:12:29):
That, no lower than?
Speaker 5 (02:12:31):
That, okay lower than? That, okay all, right that's not.
Speaker 1 (02:12:33):
Bad if you're spending roughly about seventeen, HUNDRED i would
consider that market, rate especially.
Speaker 5 (02:12:39):
Living in The tri state for a one bedroom. Apartment,
Yeah i'm, SORRY i mean maybe you know.
Speaker 1 (02:12:45):
WHAT i will tell you this, here here's here's the. Deal, no, No, dave, wait,
wait let me get this out because some people might
be listening to me and just going nook. Reach that's.
Crazy i'm going to say it from this. Perspective it's
totally Because i'm From New. YORK i see certain prices,
elsewhere AND i gauge it based.
Speaker 5 (02:13:03):
Upon my myopic point of.
Speaker 1 (02:13:05):
View so my. INACCURACY i would totally outrage anybody else
who lived anywhere.
Speaker 5 (02:13:10):
ELSE i know you're saying it's it's, outrageous but it makes.
Speaker 9 (02:13:13):
Sense WHEN i first moved in, HERE i had free, cable,
okay free. Heat. Okay so somebody else came in and
bottom just BEFORE covid or just AFTER, covid, yeah took
away the free. CABLE i got my next renewal, lease
it went up like almost five hundred.
Speaker 5 (02:13:33):
Bucks that's demonstrably. HIGH i CAN i can see inclements that.
Speaker 9 (02:13:42):
When you get To. Connecticut take a ride To. Ellington,
okay there's two things. Here there's cows and there's the.
Corn and there's a big old farm right down the
street from WHERE i live And nate you can see
the corn. GROWING i mean it's, like.
Speaker 1 (02:14:01):
Is it still too every? Day and that's the part
that you're making is that because it's so, rural those
prices shouldn't be the. Rate BECAUSE i saw. THAT i
saw that price that you're talking, about like nineteen eighteen hundred.
Dollars guess WHERE i saw. THAT i saw that write
In hartford for in a what's called a low income housing, apartment.
Speaker 9 (02:14:22):
Just Like, okay so they, said they're gonna they're gonna
build uh apartments across by The Ellington river and not
The Ellington river but The Hartford river In. Enfield, yeah
and they're gonna sit there and tell you all they're
gonna be.
Speaker 2 (02:14:36):
Affordable, yes.
Speaker 9 (02:14:40):
They're gonna charge it like two two hundred.
Speaker 23 (02:14:44):
Bucks and it just to look at, him he's done
nothing that used to do.
Speaker 9 (02:14:47):
Over my papers WHEN i was a kid In Maybury.
Speaker 1 (02:14:50):
Village all, WELL i look LIKE i, SAID i know
that the price is are growing. Up Everything i'm reading
everybody saying the price is going. Up BUT i look
at those prices differently because of WHERE i come from
WHEN i see prices in other, states WHEN i look
at other.
Speaker 24 (02:15:04):
States, yes you should run for governor of the state Of.
CONNECTICUT i don't want. TO i really don't want. It
it's not about the. Responsibility it's JUST i don't want public.
Office BUT i thank, you. Buddy But donald Says, reese
you don't have to answer every. Question it makes you look.
Silly it's okay to SAY i don't know someone's asking my.
Opinion i'm going to give them my. Opinion if you
(02:15:24):
THINK i look. Silly so what you're breaking my?
Speaker 1 (02:15:28):
Heart, yeah you really think the whole image thing is
the stuff That i'm, LIKE i built this. On do
you really think that's what it's. About do you Think
i've got an ego to? Protect go somewhere else with. That,
okay you know that's a that's an urban. Thing you.
Know it's like having to wear the Right jordan's or
(02:15:48):
the right, belt or wearing the right fashionable. Item it's
okay to look. Silly never take yourself too, seriously, Man. Never,
okay he asked me. QUESTION i answered. It it deserved an,
answer SO i gave.
Speaker 5 (02:16:02):
One that's. All let's go To White. Mic he's hanging
out In. Florida what's going, on?
Speaker 1 (02:16:08):
Sir Oh?
Speaker 4 (02:16:09):
Man, well you have to be doing something right when
you have Gay jews From San francisco calling to. Dude
the only people who ever questioned Someone's christianity are Non.
Christians indeed questions another Man's. Christianity that guy was a
Gay jews From San. Francisco so, Anyway, uh let's talk
(02:16:31):
about movie.
Speaker 5 (02:16:32):
Business, yes, okay.
Speaker 4 (02:16:34):
Talk about a little.
Speaker 12 (02:16:34):
Bit.
Speaker 4 (02:16:35):
UH i am so over the moon happy that we're
gonna see BOTH dc with that Horrible superman. Reimagination, okay
and with This fantastic Four Pedro pascal, abomination lose copious
amounts of money and they're losing it because they're, Stupid,
well because they don't know how to cast for their.
Speaker 5 (02:16:57):
Audience well that's another.
Speaker 1 (02:17:00):
Thing and it's really really weird because going to this
hole and these are two big. FRANCHISES i don't THINK
dc is all that, big but they are too big
MONEY i guess money, marketing and it's kind of. Crazy
let me go this direction in WHICH i find, interesting
and you tell me what you think about. This aren't
(02:17:21):
they receiving a little bit of come upance because as of,
late Regular hollywood has been railing against the fact that
there was so much money going into the coffers of
places Like disney And marvel AND dc in the superhero.
Speaker 4 (02:17:35):
Genre well, yeah BUT i think it's more that this
all stems that To trump winning in twenty. Sixteen he broke,
Them he broke, them and they all went super crazy.
Woke but the problem is these movies take so long to.
Make by the time they committed to, them the time
to change, politically people are tired of.
Speaker 1 (02:17:57):
It, Yeah i'm.
Speaker 4 (02:17:59):
DONE i don't want to See Pedro pascal playing the
smartest white guy in the universe that needs to be
a White i'm, sorry and needs to be a white,
guy not pro. Pasal you're telling me there's no white
guy who could play a super genius In.
Speaker 1 (02:18:14):
Hollywood they had a, Guy they had a, guy and
they and they turned around and, said, no, well he's
not technically A WELL i guess to the woke, mob
he would have been a white.
Speaker 5 (02:18:22):
Guy and that was That krazinsky guy from From, jake
from The Jack Ryan.
Speaker 4 (02:18:27):
That's you don't get much more white Than.
Speaker 1 (02:18:29):
Polish but, yes but he was the guy.
Speaker 5 (02:18:33):
That in, Fact marvel fans were excited that he would
get the.
Speaker 11 (02:18:37):
Role we want.
Speaker 22 (02:18:37):
Him they wanted his actual wife to Be Sue, storm
and who wouldn't want. That everybody loves, Her, yes men love,
Her geeks love. Her, yes have to get to see this.
Speaker 4 (02:18:50):
Stuff guys like, me regular people don't know who the
hell fantastic for.
Speaker 21 (02:18:54):
Are it is.
Speaker 1 (02:18:55):
True i'm not gonna. Lie that's you know what you're.
In you're in a white wheelhouse here truth be. Told
right AS i was, saying when WHEN i first talked
about this movie on the, AIR i, said, look, oh,
NO i was telling my steps. On The Fantastic four
is one of The marvel COMICS i never got into
as a, kid SO i had no relationship or understanding
(02:19:17):
of who their arch nemesis. Were with the exception Of,
galactus but even HE i probably knew ten percent about, Well.
Speaker 4 (02:19:25):
Doctor, dooms they're biggie really.
Speaker 5 (02:19:27):
Well, YEAH i know very little about him.
Speaker 1 (02:19:29):
TOO i don't even, again there are so many things
about HIM i rarely. UNDERSTAND i was, LIKE i know
there is A Doctor, doom BUT i don't know what
his whole thing.
Speaker 4 (02:19:38):
Is they're just, stupid right BECAUSE i Like Robert Downey.
Jr but don't bring him back for. This you need
to find some, big Scary Eastern european actor to play
The Eastern european psychopath. Dictator, yeah not.
Speaker 5 (02:19:52):
Hard go find The Christoph waltz he would have.
Speaker 4 (02:19:56):
Been want to make its. Time it's time for. Nobody
the people the cast were pretty nobody's in the first few.
Phases do, that And i'm tired of. It give me
people who look like the. Characters you want to make
a billion Dollars, marvel and for that, matter you want
to make a billion dollars W nba cast hot chicks
and big. Boobs it's not freaking.
Speaker 5 (02:20:16):
Complicated, hey what do you Think i'm speaking OF?
Speaker 1 (02:20:18):
Wnba what do you think Of shaquille O'Neill's suggestion that
they bring the rim bringing the rim down a little
more so that it's a little more.
Speaker 5 (02:20:28):
Athletic nobody wants.
Speaker 4 (02:20:30):
To watch a bunch of hair hat And zoe against
credit To Tommy sotamoo on that one dunking the. Ball
they want to watch two girls play. Basketball the trick
there is to do what The fever are doing and
get pretty white girls who can. Play people will watch.
That they don't want to watch a bunch of chicks
with weaves down to their backs and tattoos all lesbian.
Out they want to watch regular. People and the way
(02:20:53):
to do that is to get pretty white. Girls because
nothing ever lost money putting more pretty white girls in.
Speaker 1 (02:20:59):
It, Ever i'm not gonna Lie yukon Has yukon has
really understood the secret sauce. Here they just.
Speaker 9 (02:21:08):
Just higher.
Speaker 4 (02:21:09):
Higher they watched. It put him in the superhero cover.
Last marvel has one more show this. Year it's called Wonder.
Speaker 1 (02:21:18):
Man, YES.
Speaker 4 (02:21:20):
I Wonder man is Wonder man.
Speaker 11 (02:21:22):
Is simon And.
Speaker 4 (02:21:22):
Williams he was A West coast. Avenger he's a douchebag
Matinee idle movie. Star, yes who took superhero potion became a.
Superhero he should Be, henry he should look Like Henry.
Cavill but who they cast to be?
Speaker 5 (02:21:37):
WONDERFUL i don't even know who this guy. Is, YEAH
i know they need, again this is their.
Speaker 1 (02:21:45):
Thing, LOOK I i know that they want to hemorrhage
money because, again this isn't about market, shared this is
about market. Appeal and it's, true it's the reason why
that they're failing. Miserably but sometimes you have to sit
back and just watch them in that's.
Speaker 4 (02:22:00):
All Disney plus has lost an estimated fifteen billion dollars since.
Launch fifteen billion with A. B, yeah maybe the way
to get viewers is Iron heart And black Wonder man
more like Wonder Where Daddy Went? Man you know What i'm,
Saying but.
Speaker 5 (02:22:19):
Goodbye Now i've done with.
Speaker 1 (02:22:22):
Just he was doing so. Fine he just he has
this this perfect little place where he can sit and he's,
wonderful and then he just goes there like you're the,
worst just the.
Speaker 5 (02:22:34):
Worst let's Take sean And meridi before we go to break.
Speaker 1 (02:22:37):
What's going on?
Speaker 14 (02:22:38):
Us that last line was.
Speaker 9 (02:22:41):
Great he's so a.
Speaker 5 (02:22:44):
Mess he's such a. Mess it's almost like he writes, it.
Speaker 25 (02:22:49):
But a real light higher. Thing FIRST i thought it was.
Fantastic they started bashing this girl who did The jeane.
Speaker 5 (02:22:57):
Commercial, Yes Sidney, Sweeney City.
Speaker 25 (02:23:00):
Sweeney it's it's a commercial about white, supremacy is what they.
Said and they pushed, that and they pushed, that and
they pushed that where sales are going off the frigging.
Roof so AGAIN i, say eat. Crawl it's absolutely. Fantastic
because they also showed the commercial FROM i think thirty
(02:23:23):
five years.
Speaker 1 (02:23:23):
Ago where Brook shields is In, calvin G.
Speaker 25 (02:23:28):
She didn't even have, themuch she's putting them on while
she's doing the. Commercial so basically she had no pants.
Speaker 21 (02:23:35):
On.
Speaker 25 (02:23:35):
Yep and everyone was, like, raw, ross just move Bab
so so.
Speaker 1 (02:23:40):
What's what's the?
Speaker 25 (02:23:40):
Difference So brookshields was really A.
Speaker 1 (02:23:44):
NAZI i think the bottom of what we're. Learning, listen
what we're learning about this is that the left has
run out of things to be outraged. About this is
the latest in trying to get some sort of momentum
and it's. Failed the miss and, again AS i said
a couple of days ago WHEN i brought this whole controversy,
(02:24:04):
up was that the only thing they're going to do
is drive people to the. Company do you, Know i'll
tell you this before we go to Break. Shawan in twenty,
nineteen they put a heavy set black woman on their
ad campaign For American eagle. Jeans she was a heavy,
set kind Of lizzo bodied woman that, showed you, know
(02:24:27):
showed her full figuredness in their. Genes, well it turns
out that this ad campaign caused their stock to. Plummet
and now they've Seen Sidney sweeney in the ad and
it's gone up over four hundred million dollars in a,
week which lends itself to when they were, woke it
(02:24:47):
lost them, money and then this obviously gained them. Money
so maybe now there are people who are looking at
this and going none of this makes, sense and these
people who are protesting it have no power to speak,
of and maybe we shouldn't be catering To AND.
Speaker 9 (02:25:04):
I have one thing before you're going on there in a.
Speaker 25 (02:25:06):
Rush, YEAH i Saw Corey booker ON, tv and ALSO
i Saw bloomenthal With schumer AND i went off On
Booman thals off And i'm, like he doesn't believe anything he's,
saying and why is he still? Senter But Corey booker
went off and he had a hissy fit about not,
funding not backing the, police and then has a hissy
(02:25:30):
because you didn't get you. Away if any my, mom
if she saw, me my mom is eighty five years,
old and she does not, drop she would find a
way to get The connecticut.
Speaker 4 (02:25:40):
And beat the crap out of.
Speaker 25 (02:25:41):
Me IF i had a grown temper tantrum On National.
Speaker 9 (02:25:46):
Tell it was.
Speaker 5 (02:25:47):
Quite it was quite the. Tantrum we played it a little.
Speaker 1 (02:25:51):
Earlier you got, It, JEHAN i got to take a break,
anyway but he's one hundred percent. Right the temper tantrum was.
Ridiculous when we come, back what happened was and then
we'll wrap up the. Show if you want to call,
in you can eight and zero five two two w

Speaker 11 (02:26:22):

Speaker 1 (02:26:27):
Happened that's, right it's time for what happened was right
here on w t I. C what had happened was
today that we got a, headline a headline out of
The Hartford current today that said that there had been
(02:26:49):
a growing number of people who have died on e
bytes in the state in recent. Years in, fact this
report says, that, well it was a three hundred and
fifty percent increase in fatalities or.
Speaker 5 (02:27:07):
Injuries for that, matter with e.
Speaker 1 (02:27:09):
Bikes but then we found out that in twenty twenty
Three deep actually started an initiative to get people on e,
bikes and no one decided to write at least an
article about its. Correlation no such. Thing, also we at
great length talked about the new pizza, plate which is
(02:27:30):
the license plate with pizza on, it and if you
purchased one for sixty five.
Speaker 5 (02:27:37):
Dollars we found out.
Speaker 1 (02:27:38):
That no money goes to the group Food share that
helps with feeding hungry folks in pantries across the state Of,
connecticut that they are just getting a promotion out of.
It and we went through great lengths to find out
exactly what was happening there on that. Level, also you
(02:27:58):
may have missed it in Our Hollywood news whose spinal.
Speaker 5 (02:28:01):
Tap the end, continues is the sequel that's coming?

that the studios would send us so we can watch
the movie ahead of. Time but now they don't even
do they not do that?
Speaker 2 (02:29:07):

Speaker 1 (02:29:08):
Really why? Not that doesn't even make any?
Speaker 6 (02:29:12):

Speaker 13 (02:30:34):
And, yeah it's like the middle level of a. Triplex

Speaker 4 (02:31:23):
High this guy is.
Speaker 1 (02:31:23):
Right and it's funny because that catchphrase many politicians since
then have sort of used it as their, Refrain so
he did popularize that.
Speaker 13 (02:31:35):
Term, Yeah i'll ever forget that every time he came
out on the, camera he was saying, that and it's, like,
hey he's, right everything's too damn made me remember a
guy that probably a lot of people. Forget that guy was.
Speaker 9 (02:31:51):
Awesome he was.
Speaker 14 (02:31:51):
Hilarious, yeah he.
Speaker 5 (02:31:52):
Was he was quite the character during that.
Speaker 1 (02:31:55):
Time thank, You, JEFF i appreciate.
Speaker 5 (02:31:57):
You i'm GLAD i got you.
Speaker 1 (02:31:58):
In now let me get into this real, quick BECAUSE
i know some of you read The Gateway pundit AND
i know you're familiar with. IT a lot of walks
in this political. Thing jerry, McMillan That jimmy, McMillan i,
apologize thank.
Speaker 3 (02:32:12):
You.
Speaker 1 (02:32:12):
Rama that's too damn. High wrench to damn. High, anyway
back to The Gateway. PUNDIT i know a lot of
people here are familiar with The Gateway. PUNDIT a lot
of wonks on the political wonks who listen to the,
program listening TO wtic and other stations really go to
The Gateway pundit BECAUSE i gotta be honest with. YOU
(02:32:35):
i trust, them and it is very. Rare they get
it wrong and they're head of the. Curve sometimes they're,
late but they are a head of the. Curve usually
so now they're reporting from just the. News John, solomon
let me read what the article. Says this is From Jim.
HOFF i think he's one of the head guys over
(02:32:57):
at The Gateway. Pundit let me read what he. Says
investigative Journalist John solomon declared that Former President Barack obama
can now be compelled to testify before a grand jury
and he cannot invoke The Fifth amendment due to his presidential.
Speaker 5 (02:33:13):
Immunity but there's a. Kicker If obama.
Speaker 1 (02:33:16):
Lies as a private citizen about what he did during his,
presidency that immunity, evaporates potentially exposing him to criminal. Prosecution
once called before a grand, Jury obama must testify under.
Oath if he misrepresents or lies about any matter related
(02:33:37):
to his official, conduct he loses that immunity from the
date of the lie. Onward that single moment as a
private citizen could nullify the entire blanket he once relied.
Speaker 5 (02:33:51):
Upon now why is that.
Speaker 1 (02:33:53):
Important to this? Story let me lay it out for.
You there are a couple of things that people need to,
sinner and a lot of it stems from people very
close To Barack. Obama one in, particular the man who
gave him the endorsement to run in the first, Place
Senator Harry, reid the Late Senator Harry reid Of. Nevada,
(02:34:19):
now let me run through a couple of things. Here
In november of twenty, sixteen before the presidential, Election Major
garrett was ON Cbs news talking about the FBI's investigation
Into russian medaling in the. Election thus far again the
(02:34:45):
Date november, one twenty, sixteen.
Speaker 26 (02:34:50):
And again by asking you again about these reports between
The trump A trump organization computer and A russian, bank
some type of connection.
Speaker 2 (02:34:59):
There and The New York.
Speaker 26 (02:35:00):
Times is, reporting, however that THE fbi never found direct
links between the candidate and The russian.
Speaker 2 (02:35:07):
Government what are the takeaways?
Speaker 27 (02:35:08):
Here it goes into some detail about a summer's long
investigation BY fbi agents trying to determine if there were
direct linkages Between Donald, trump those in his political inner
circle or those within his business, entities and The russian,
Government russian, oligarchs or any other kind Of russians who might,
have let us, say nefarious intentions when it comes to
(02:35:31):
The United states political. Process according to THE fbi in
This New York times, story they found no direct, linkages
nothing that created any great suspicion About russians trying to
overtly Influence Donald trump or those in his political, circle
or any particularly untoured involvements Between trump owned businesses or
(02:35:52):
business entities And russian oligarchs or anyone within The russian government.
Speaker 6 (02:35:57):
Itself all this is.
Speaker 2 (02:35:58):
In The New York times, today goes into great.
Speaker 27 (02:36:00):
Detail, democrats of, course have been, saying, hey wait a,
minute we ought to look more carefully at all this
and raise questions about What trump is or isn't doing
with The, Russians why does he have such an open
door policy With vladimir put and The russian, president et,
cetera et. Cetera, well according to This New York times,
story THE fbi did look into all of this during
the summer months and concluded there was nothing in particular
(02:36:23):
that warranted either criminal investigation or anything that raised particular
alarms About russia's involvement With.
Speaker 5 (02:36:31):
Trump november, one twenty, sixteen days before the.
Speaker 1 (02:36:40):
Election one month, later ON msnbc on The Joy Reid,
Program Harry reid called. In here's what he.
Speaker 5 (02:36:53):
Said a month, later read.
Speaker 21 (02:36:57):
You as far back As, October we're attempting to warn
the country that THE cia had this. Information you sent
a letter To James, comey THE fbi, director to that.
Speaker 5 (02:37:08):
Effect, why, sir do you.
Speaker 21 (02:37:10):
Believe that THE fbi did not act on it and
that nothing was done Before november.
Speaker 1 (02:37:15):
Eighth now you heard The november first piece With Major
garrett whoa wait a, minute we need to check blah blah.
Blah he's talking About Harry, reid Because Harry reid sent
the letter and, said we need to check this.
Speaker 5 (02:37:31):
Out why Was Harry reid so adamant.
Speaker 1 (02:37:35):
About getting a Check why Because Hillary clinton was already
laying the groundwork on this, Idea russian, Oligarchs russian, Oligarchs russian,
Collusion russian. Collusion they all Knew Harry reid was screaming
for an, investigation but no one wanted to touch. It
now It's december, Again december, eleventh after the, election about
(02:37:59):
a Month.
Speaker 5 (02:38:01):
Harry, Reid, HEY i told, HIM i warned.
Speaker 1 (02:38:04):
Him according to The New York, times they, did they
understood the, warning and they looked into it found.
Speaker 9 (02:38:09):
Nothing BECAUSE i did not.
Speaker 12 (02:38:12):
Believe That koby was the new Chancar. HOOVER i thought
that he would do the right thing for the. Country you,
know this is, clear you've Been we've all read the
press the last few. Days THE fbi had this material
for a long, time but he called, me who's you?
(02:38:32):
Know of, course A republican refused to divulge this. Information
goutt In russia and the presidential. Election he violated the
orders of the attorney, General president and good, taste.
Speaker 1 (02:38:44):
He violated the orders of the. President Harry reid. Said
then we fast forward to five months. Later, actually what
is it final? With, yeah five months a little more
than five months, Later june of twenty. Seventeen let's go
(02:39:05):
back TO Cbs. News what did they? Report five six months?
Later they reported.
Speaker 15 (02:39:11):
THIS a report this morning Claims Russian President Vladimir putin
gave direct instructions to help Elect Donald trump. President according
to A Washington post, investigation Former President obama received a
SECRET cia report In. August that report quote Captured putin's
specific instructions on the operations On dash's objectives defeat or
at least damage The Democratic now Amine Hillary clinton a
(02:39:34):
report whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa.
Speaker 5 (02:39:36):
Whoa Barack obama received a secret briefing In, august.
Speaker 1 (02:39:45):
But never divulged it to THE fbi or anybody else to.
Investigate do you see what's happening? Here do you see
why people are trying to get you to ignore? It
because no one of it adds, up none of. It
it appears to contradict. Itself and as many of these
(02:40:07):
bozos tell, you you, know published, reports published, reports published,
reports that's nothing more than a timeline of. Events the
published reports were all leaks by the, government all of.
Them The New York, Times Washington, post all of. That
it was THE, cia THE, fbi every other three letter.
Organization they were feeding that stuff to the. News obama
(02:40:32):
received a secret briefing In august while THE fbi is
doing an investigation and found. Nothing who gave him the secret?
Info no one seems to.
Speaker 5 (02:40:44):
Know, okay there's all the groundwork that's left.
Speaker 1 (02:40:50):
There so anyone who thinks that this isn't a story
or it isn't an, issue just take a. Beat we'll
be back on the story in the next couple of
days when more shoes, drop BECAUSE i understand That ratclub's
