Speaker 3 (00:35):
In the cornfield.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
In fact, if you go across the group of children

We're listening to Rip Paranormal and Friends with your hosts,

(02:04):
All right, hey, everybody, welcome to another night of Rip
Paranormal and Friends.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
So tonight it's gonna be a special night. As you know,
we are wrapping up with doing live shows and next
year will be all to pre recorded, So this is
actually gonna be our second to last show. We have
one that's gonna be a special tomorrow at seven thirty
six thirty Central with Nancy Yeow. We're gonna be talking
about her new book and how you can get a
(02:37):
hold or talk to your spirit guides and guardian angels.
So tune in for that one. But for tonight, I
have some very special guests with us. We have Rebecca
from the Canbery House. We have April Richardson from She
is one of our paranormal peeps, and she also does
a lot with the Women's Club. And I know a
(02:59):
lot of listeners you know probably know who she is
because we have had around a few times. And then
we also have been from Central Utah paranormal on with us.
So welcome everybody.
Speaker 5 (03:13):
Big that's going.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Oh it is going great, all right. So since April
I see you first, how about you just give us
a brief little insight on yourself. So everybody from the beach, I'm.
Speaker 5 (03:37):
My name's eight April.
Speaker 6 (03:38):
I've been actively involved with the paranormal for I think
over six years now. However, I've been interested in it
ever since I was a kid. My main story is
I grew up living over a funeral home. My father
is a fourth generation funeral director, and there would be
times that I would be downstairs practice seeing, you know,
(04:01):
my acrobatic or dance routines and like in the area
where the visitations would occur, and all of a sudden,
I feel like I wasn't by myself. And I'm an
only child, so I was flushy by myself. Yeah, but
there were times that I had to go sit in
a corner because I felt a little vulnerable. And then
there'd be stories that my dad would tell that he
(04:24):
would be visiting a patient hospice that was getting ready
to transition, and they'd be talking to somebody nobody else
could see, and you'd hear, hey, Mom, who are you
talking to? Well that's great aunt Carol. Well she passed
away thirty years ago. Well no, she's standing right there.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
Oh wow.
Speaker 5 (04:42):
And that really as especially as a kid that gets
the wheel turning.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Oh yeah, for sure.
Speaker 6 (04:48):
And then you know, the og ghost Hunters comes along,
what in like two thousand and five, and I realized, oh,
you can actually go and do this kind of thing.
That's amazing even better, and so it took a little
bit for me to find a group that I could
go out and start, you know, meeting with and meet
(05:11):
all of y'all.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
Yeah, okay, that's a good kind of stuff to have mine.
Speaker 6 (05:22):
That's my story, all right, Well it is a good
it is a good story, interesting one.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
Ben, would you like to give us a little bit
of insight?
Speaker 3 (05:33):
Sure? So hello, my name's Ben Stevenson. I found it
Central Utah.
Speaker 7 (05:40):
Paranormal in about twenty nineteen, and I started roughly twenty
fifteen twenty sixteen, But it was more just doing it
by myself around like where I live is extremely rural,
Like there's two thousand people in the town that I
live in, so it was nearly impossible to like a
(06:01):
large group of people. So I just kind of put
it out there and have found some of my own
people here now too that were just scared to do
it or didn't want to do it themselves.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
But we mostly just we've moved.
Speaker 7 (06:16):
Away from tours and events and things like that and
we just do home investigations and help people that are
suffering with hauntings and things like that.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
But yeah, I'm not sure what else to tell you.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
That's okay, that's fine, that's fine. I just want to
give everybody a little bit of insights, so they know
who we're going to be talking with today. Now, Rebecca,
it's your turn. You're in the spotlight.
Speaker 8 (06:46):
I'm Rebecca Williamson from Navoo, Illinois, owner of Cambria House
and Farm. I've been doing paranormal investigations since two thousand
and three, when my girl friends bought me ticket for
a ghost tour, and so I've been hooked over since
I bought my grandparents' farmhouse in twenty sixteen and quickly
(07:10):
realized it was actually haunted, and then started letting people
come investigate and look for ghosts at my location, and
then made friends with a whole bunch of teams and
they let me pal around with them sometimes, and so yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
Yes, see all right, So for our listeners tonight, we
got this idea from a couple of listeners. One of
them was going to actually be on tonight, but you know,
he's working, so he could not be on, So we'll
have him on at a later time. But we have
(07:49):
a whole cigar box full of questions. So what we're
gonna do is just we're going to randomly draw from
it a topic or a question, and we're just gonna
kind of go around and see what everybody thinks about it.
Thought that i'd be something different for us to do.
We haven't really done anything like this before. So that's
(08:10):
how we got the names to be on the show.
We put one of the names in that.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Absolutely, Oh gosh, I got a whole bunch of them
stuck together. Okay, Oh okay, Well I drew one that
I wrote, so let's see if I can read it. Okay,
So first question is do you think spirits can come
and go as they please? Or are they stuck in
one specific location? Who'd like to go first? Don't all
(08:41):
jump in at it once they're think.
Speaker 8 (08:44):
You I, I'll go first. I I don't know that
they're stuck in any one particular location. I just think
that it doesn't occur to them that they could go
to another location. I think that some of them are
just so into where they're at, you know that they
(09:05):
don't It just doesn't occur to them that they could
go anywhere else. And then others are attached to like
a person or something like that, and so then they
follow the person or the object around, and so then
they do go to different locations. And some of them
are obviously more aware of their surroundings and stuff so
that they would go to other locations. So I don't
know if it's that they can't or more that they.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Won almost go to other locations. Good answer, Ben, do
you have anything?
Speaker 3 (09:35):
So?
Speaker 7 (09:35):
I was thinking along the exact same lines as Rebecca,
because they do have that option to attach to people
and objects.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
And move around.
Speaker 7 (09:44):
One thing that I've noticed, especially doing home investigations and
business investigations, is if it's something, if it's a darker
spirit or something gross, it stays where it can feed
off of whatever it's getting and whoever it's getting from.
But other I would say, good spirits or ones that
(10:09):
don't really have a preference in it to an extent
move around more.
Speaker 3 (10:15):
But that's just kind of what I've seen.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
April. Do you have anything?
Speaker 5 (10:21):
Yeah, I kind of agree with that.
Speaker 6 (10:22):
I think they get to choose almost.
Speaker 5 (10:28):
You know, sure some of them probably don't know that
they can change but orcations. But I've also.
Speaker 6 (10:36):
Been visited I'm kind of a sensitive, not gonna say
a medium, but I've also been visited by spirits that
are not supposed to come to my house.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
But it turns out the board or or something not naming.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
Any names of which ones those would be.
Speaker 6 (10:53):
Right, mister Harold, of course, But you know that the
first time that happened, that shocked the heck out of me.
Speaker 5 (11:03):
I was like, what the hell are you doing here? Anyway?
But you know, I.
Speaker 6 (11:10):
Especially like you know with Rebecca's Cambray house, the alpha
spirit there, Fritz is very very particular with the location.
So no, he's not going to just go wandering all
over the place.
Speaker 5 (11:25):
That's that's his spot, that's his face, that's his house.
Speaker 6 (11:30):
So I think it just kind of depends on the
spirit and what they're wanting or needing or whatever their
agenda is, because I think if you go into a
place that hasn't been investigated either a before or B
has it's been a while, and Rob wore.
Speaker 5 (11:46):
With a person, they might be like, Hey, you're kind
of cool, I kind of want to follow you keep
station going a little bit right, and then you're going
to maybe maybe you should be here. But I honestly,
I think it could be any of the Aboves.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Oh yeah, I do too. I totally agree. I think
they they can go wherever they want. Some of them
just might not know that they can, or some like
I said, like everybody else has said that there just
might be attached to that place. Maybe it's it was
a happy place for them, and that's where they feel
comfortable at, so that's where they want to stay. Some
may not know, maybe they had a traumatic accident and
(12:26):
they really don't know where they're at and what they're
supposed to be doing, you know. So I think a
lot of things come into that, but I do one
hundred percent agree that you know, they can go wherever
they want, just some may not choose to. Kim, do
you have any input? I agree with everybody. You agree
with everybody. She's like throwing the next question at me already,
She's like it was.
Speaker 9 (12:50):
A heart next question, What advice would you give someone
that is just starting out.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Is let's go Ben, you want to go first this time?
Speaker 7 (13:05):
Sure, I'll go first this time, all right? Be safe,
trying not to do it alone or go anywhere alone.
If you do go alone, go somewhere that's not a
cave or an abandoned building where you could never be
found again. But really, just get a recorder. And I
(13:30):
know everyone has Like the first videos I watched before
I was learning, like we'll go back like twenty fifteen.
I was the one walking around with the EMF.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Like, oh, there's a ghost here.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (13:43):
But if you can take around just a recorder, a
flashlight and a camera, you will be so surprised that
the conversation that you will be able to have, what
you'll be able to hear, and who knows what else
you'll be able to catch on camera itself. And it
doesn't take a two thousand dollars HDP four K camera.
(14:06):
My very first one was what was pre like ten
eightp like, I mean, it wasn't like one that you
held up here, but it was pretty damn closer. But
you'll you'll be surprised what you can find with very
minimal equipment.
Speaker 3 (14:25):
You don't need everything that they have on TV.
Speaker 7 (14:28):
And you'll just be safe and try those first exactly.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
Good words there. Who would like to go next?
Speaker 8 (14:40):
I'll go next. I'll second that you don't need expensive equipment.
I like to advise people to look for a paranormal
tour that one of the teams is putting on for
your first one, just so that you can get an experience.
It's team with you. You know, you can watch them
(15:02):
use the equipment, see how it's best used. See if
you like that equipment. I mean, everybody kind of has
their preference about the different types of equipment that they like,
and when you watch another team with their equipment, then
it kind of gives you a better idea of what
what you can or can't what you like. I guess
you're right. And then to the kind of just having
(15:26):
that experience for your first outing is kind of helpful,
just just to give you, like the training wheels before
you go out in your own.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
I agree, April.
Speaker 6 (15:37):
Do you have anything to add to that or I
would say a flashlight, whether that's your phone or whatever.
Speaker 5 (15:46):
Trust your instincts.
Speaker 6 (15:48):
If for some reason you're not feeling comfortable, leave, No,
it's fine. Your gut is your best gut compass, honestly,
your best guy. And if you really do feel like
buying any sort of equipment, the cat toys that are
not super expensive, you can get them off Amazon anything
(16:09):
like that. But it's a really good introductory tool that
can actually.
Speaker 5 (16:15):
Do a lot of good results.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
They do work good. We just got a big box
of balls, and anybody who is listening or that's in chat,
(16:39):
feel free to ask questions too, okay, and we'll get
to you as well. All right, okay, okay, gosh, can
you keep drawing your I don't know, I just okay,
So this one's kind of a new topic that's in
(16:59):
the news. Or what do you think about the drones
that are being spotted?
Speaker 1 (17:04):
What do you.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
I've heard you know that they're just drones or UFOs?
Speaker 5 (17:11):
What are they trying to get our attention away from?
Speaker 6 (17:13):
That's what I say, Yeah, true, yep, yep, it's a
versionary tactic, Ben.
Speaker 7 (17:21):
What do you think I've been So I don't do
a lot of the paranormal investigating stuff anymore. Like I said,
ours is mostly private, so I don't get to share
nine of any of the evidence that I can.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Yeah, but.
Speaker 7 (17:39):
I I agree, I can't if it was April or
Rebecca that said, like, what are they trying to what
are they trying to take us away from?
Speaker 3 (17:47):
You know, I've dove.
Speaker 7 (17:49):
Into all of the like the large, the largest conspiracy
theory right now that I've been able to find is
that everyone the government's preparing for Project Blue Beam, and
these drones are all going to be the projectors that
make us see whatever it is they want us to
see the second Coming of the Lord or an invasion
(18:13):
and two like, there's there's so many, There's so many.
But that's the That's one of the most interesting ones
that I've ran into so far, is how can we
how can we make the world believe what we want
them to believe? And how can we do it? But yeah,
(18:35):
I agree that it's just something that's trying to take
our our thoughts away from something else. But that's the
most intriguing.
Speaker 3 (18:45):
One that I've run into so far.
Speaker 6 (18:49):
Yeah, you know, oh, it was a weather balloon. It
was a weather balloon. And then all of a sudden, Nope,
aliens are real like, well we already knew that. Why
is my guest still so high?
Speaker 7 (18:59):
But yeah, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (19:06):
Yeah, I get it? Okay, all right, we got another
one here. Another question. What's the worst device or trigger
object you have used? And why so? What's something that
you tried it out and you just didn't care for it? Jim,
(19:33):
do you have one?
Speaker 1 (19:35):
No?
Speaker 2 (19:35):
I like all mine.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
I got one.
Speaker 8 (19:40):
I had to think of it. Okay, I thought it one.
I went on one where they wanted us to dress
up in all period clothing and interesting theory. Interesting theory,
but we all got dressed up in period clothing and
played period music and acted like we were in the
time period. And it was a lot of work.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
Yeah, it was a lot of work for not a
lot of experience.
Speaker 8 (20:10):
I'm just gonna say that right now. It was just
it was a lot. It was a lot of trap work,
and we're all excited about it going into it, and
then like we didn't really get as much activity as
I hoped, and it was just kind of like, well,
why did we do all that?
Speaker 2 (20:29):
Yeah? I would agree, I mean, we use trigger objects
and things like that, but we don't go to the
extent where we're full on like acting like we're from
that period.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
You know.
Speaker 8 (20:40):
Yeah, it was a lot of Oh my.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
Lord, April, do you have one?
Speaker 5 (20:47):
Oh man?
Speaker 6 (20:48):
Oh I just I remember Kim setting up a whole
like vignette of soldiers playing poker at the women's Oh yeah.
Speaker 5 (21:00):
And we got a little activity, but not a lot.
Speaker 6 (21:04):
Yeah, Like it was just like that was a lot
of work for not a lot of So again back
to the period clothing and.
Speaker 5 (21:14):
Yeah, so you just I don't know, you throw stuff
at the wall and see what sticks.
Speaker 8 (21:18):
I guess that's right.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
That's what you do. You don't know what's gonna work
until you've tried, I guess.
Speaker 8 (21:24):
I don't even remember which location it was. I just
remember the shoes were uncomfortable.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
Yikes. Yeah, would you have to do wear heels? Yeah?
Speaker 8 (21:38):
And I hate heels. I never wear heels, so yeah,
I remember it was.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
I don't know, but it was, yeah, Ben, what do
you have? Do you have anything that you've tried and
you didn't care for?
Speaker 3 (21:52):
I'm still trying to.
Speaker 7 (21:55):
All of mine have worked in the the situation or
the area that they should be used in, But whenever
I've tried to use them, like in a random place
where it's not really for that setting, they haven't worked.
Speaker 3 (22:11):
But I don't have one specifically that I haven't liked,
So I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
That's okay, no worries. Well, she's.
Speaker 6 (22:22):
To get it, you know, accomplished. That's fine.
Speaker 5 (22:26):
My heels are new for me.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
Well, April brought up the war stuff at the club,
but I did put a uniform on at Melbourne and
got some reaction excellent. So you just never know when
it's going to happen with this. We do have we
do have a question in chats from Alec Tillery from Creeps,
(22:50):
they also have their show on YouTube too, so check
it out. Wonderful guys, love them to death. But he
has a question for all of us, what is the
main factor that you look for when considering whether or
not a paranormal investigation was successful or worthwhile? Good question was, Yeah,
(23:15):
who would like to go on that one? First?
Speaker 5 (23:24):
Well, I mean, did you have an experience or no?
Speaker 3 (23:27):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
Well, that's true.
Speaker 8 (23:32):
I would agree with April whether or not I had
an experience? Did I have a good time? A lot
of For me personally, it's not always if I can
document it, it's whether or not I experienced.
Speaker 5 (23:46):
It on your own personal Yeah.
Speaker 8 (23:49):
So often I never get anything like documented. But like
if I saw something, felt something, or experienced something and
had fun with my friends, then that's a successful one
for me.
Speaker 5 (24:00):
Agreed.
Speaker 7 (24:01):
Yep, I did all that, so I can touch on
that on maybe a different way.
Speaker 3 (24:08):
Sure.
Speaker 7 (24:08):
Yeah, So this was a private investigation.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
That I do have permission to talk about.
Speaker 7 (24:17):
So I guess for a little background, I'll try and
I'll try and keep the story short because it can
go for a really long time, but I'll keep it short.
So I started working for my local sheriff's office in
twenty fifteen. I've worked in the jail for almost ten
years now.
Speaker 8 (24:38):
But.
Speaker 7 (24:40):
People have known me as like the weird cop that
likes paranormal stuff. And so anyways, there was a girl
in a town next to ours who believed someone was
breaking into her home and that she had a stalker.
And she would come home and laundry would be thrown everywhere,
The fridge was open a few times and food was
(25:01):
thrown out of the fridge and this, and her house
was locked. Come home, house would still be locked, and
these things would happen, and so she called the sheriff's office.
One of the guys went out, investigated the home, set
up cameras outside and was like, okay, like how let's
like how you leave, We're gonna see if anyone comes.
(25:24):
And the deputy goes and gets the video the next
day and he's looking through it and there's nothing, but
I'm sorry, I need to back up. So she got
home while he had the video still set up, got home.
Her house was destroyed, and he had the video outside
(25:44):
showing no one coming in and no one coming out.
But towards the end of the video, have you ever
seen those really old they're like water water pumps that
you have the big handle up on the side. So
you watched the handle open up by itself and then.
Speaker 3 (26:03):
It floods her yard.
Speaker 7 (26:06):
And then it shuts off by itself about an hour later.
And so he goes and talks to her and he's
just like, do you know Ben, And she's like, I
hoped you wouldn't come to this.
Speaker 5 (26:19):
I'd rather have a stalker.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
I think I rather have a spirit than a stalker.
Speaker 7 (26:30):
But so me and one of my partners, her named Stephanie,
we went there and investigated her house and ended up
blessing the home I guess for use of other terms.
And that girl had a boyfriend at the time, and
after we had blessed the home, all of a sudden,
(26:53):
boyfriend didn't want to be their boyfriend wasn't comfortable, and
he left her and it left with him.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Wow, okay, all.
Speaker 8 (27:02):
Right, all right.
Speaker 7 (27:05):
So for me it was awesome because like I was
able to help her, like we were able to help
her remove that from her home and find out that
she didn't have a stalker, just that her boyfriend was
carrying around some luggage that.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
To be taken out. Yeah, do you have anything you
want to add to this, Ken, I'm interested in answers. No,
I with the success. I also agree with, you know,
just coming away with my own personal experiences. You know,
(27:41):
sometimes we get it captured on.
Speaker 5 (27:46):
Film.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
Other times I do not because you know, I turned
the other way with the camera. But you know, we
forget our recorder, forget yeah, you know, but just going
and having your own personal experiences and taking that away
from there or getting like a direct response like balls
being thrown, ball's being thrown. But like you know, if
you actually get like an intelligent answer, you know, it's
(28:10):
one of your questions. That is something I call success
as well. And if you continue to go to the
same locations and kind of are able to add on
to some of those, you know, questions that you've answered
or asked and you've gotten responses and you can kind
of come up with something, that's another I don't know
(28:31):
kind of success in my book. But yeah, just taking
away the personal experiences and also just you know, doing
it with with our friends and things like that, that's
also a win in my book. So that's my two
cents for that. Thanks for the great question, Alec. All right,
(28:51):
next one, do you think that the dead play tricks on.
Speaker 5 (28:56):
Us as we all laugh.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
Yeah, I watched all this laugh.
Speaker 8 (29:06):
I'm just yeah, yeah, So Fritz at Cambrey is very
much very dry sense humor has mister Fritz. But yeah
he he and mom have their long standing beef.
Speaker 5 (29:25):
W he just he just locks.
Speaker 8 (29:27):
Her out and it's hilarious.
Speaker 6 (29:31):
And yeah, so yes, I can say, yes, absolutely, I've
had a couple of experiences with Fritz that hit that
nail right on the head. Bad experiences with Harold down
at Maston Housen hits that nail right on the head.
Like I was calling him out for not being super
(29:52):
active one night for an investigation. I'm laying in bed
because it's a bed and breakfast and I get patted
on my butt twice.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
Yeah, here's here, here's your action.
Speaker 5 (30:08):
You wanted not here?
Speaker 2 (30:08):
You know.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
That's funny.
Speaker 7 (30:14):
So we actually had one. I had a friend that
wanted to be kind of like a guest on. We
did a series, like a three part series, and I
can't remember off the top of my head what we
called it.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
We did it like five years ago, and.
Speaker 7 (30:31):
We made contact with a boy, a little boy, that's
what we believed. Outside of this branch and also another
spirit that we were speaking to and we were using
dowsing rods and would ask like, okay, you've been talking
about like your favorite thing was out here, can you
(30:52):
point to where to where that is? When they'd go
over here and we'd walk like twenty paces like is
it still in this way? We go this and we're
in this giant field in the middle of the night
outside one of the interstates, flashed like a camera and
dowsing rods.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
You know, people are driving by. What's going on in
that field?
Speaker 7 (31:13):
Anyways, we do this for about thirty minutes and it's
November and it's like twenty degrees outside and I'm just.
Speaker 3 (31:21):
Like, wait a minute, is this the kid?
Speaker 7 (31:24):
Is he playing a prank on us? And I was like,
I was like, is this the kid in the cross
for us? And I was like, there's no treasure, is there?
Like shakes like no, it's like hike back six hundred
yards in the other direction.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
It was fantastic.
Speaker 2 (31:45):
That's a good one. That's a good one.
Speaker 3 (31:47):
I think. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
They like to joke around a lot. We used to
get that at for our are A lot of times.
There was Nick and we had Nick and Mikey and
I can't remember the one's name. I can't remember Chris. Chris,
that's right. They used to play jokes on us all
the time. Oh yeah, they did, and and we would
(32:08):
ask them to and then they would flip the candles on.
We had these little twist top candles or whatever. But
it was funny. They they would do a lot of
little trickster things, you know. And sometimes I don't know
if it's also that, but like I think sometimes when
we ask them questions too, they're not always truthful with
us and some of the things they say or who
(32:28):
they really are, you know, you kind of get that
feeling sometimes like they're, you know, pulling your chain and.
Speaker 5 (32:37):
Your name is seventeen times a day every day, Uh huh.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
They're gonna get tired and they're gonna be like, yeah,
this is mm hm, my name is gonna be Felicia today.
Speaker 5 (32:51):
Is there anyone who.
Speaker 2 (32:54):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 8 (32:57):
That sounds like a very Fritz answer. Like Fritz answers
questions like that a lot, where you know, you'll you'll
ask something and he'll just say something off the wall
crazy that you know, you're like, okay, all right, I
get it, I get it. You're tired ya go to this.
Speaker 5 (33:16):
A little cranky. It's fine, It's fine, yes, yeah, you know.
Speaker 8 (33:23):
We'll be in there in the middle of investigation and
things are going great, and then then you get go
home over the spirit box and you're like what, No,
we're having fun. He's like bedtime or something like that.
Like he's just like done, you know, I'm good to bed.
Are you doing here?
Speaker 5 (33:41):
We had to go.
Speaker 6 (33:42):
We're out there and he got done. He got done,
and it was like time to go. And then so
some people went downstairs and he goes there go a
few or something like that, and I mean he was done.
Speaker 5 (33:57):
Just like I'm gonna check you. I need you to
leave the house. I know each one of you, and
I need you to go down.
Speaker 2 (34:05):
Yep. Alex says that Kim and I played some tricks
on him and his brother at Melbourne back in twenty twenty.
It was their very first time and we got them. No. No,
(34:28):
I didn't crawl at them with the moharph suit on
like I did with Darren crawling down in an all
black morph suit in a pitch black hallway at somebody
on your fours shadow May hallway on All four four. No,
(34:49):
I didn't do that to them, but I believe it
alec he said paybacks for coming. Oh man, oh great,
can't wait all right. Next question is how important do
you think it is for somebody starting in the field
to debunk I mean this goes for anybody in general, honestly, but.
Speaker 8 (35:12):
Yeah, yeah, super super important. Number one, just because you
want to know what you're getting is real. I can't
tell you how many times I've got something I'm getting, like,
super excited about it. The equipment's going off, This is amazing,
Oh my gosh, and then I realize that it's only
(35:34):
going off because it's lay next to the refrigerator and
the refrigerator kicked on, and then.
Speaker 5 (35:39):
Yeah, gosh, urn it.
Speaker 8 (35:43):
You know, like that, just that whole like up and
down thing, or or to have something happen and you're
you're excited about it and you take the video evidence
to your friend, Hey, look at this happened, and they're like, yeah,
did you see the refrigerator kicked on When you're equipment
started going off, did you notice that? You know, so
(36:04):
like that kind of stuff. I think it's really important
when you're starting out to know exactly what is going
to set off your equipment so that when it's going off,
you know you're for sure having an experience and you
don't have that bubble bursting moment of darn it.
Speaker 4 (36:22):
Yes, facts, yeah, we learned that my our phones will
set off our dog and cat too.
Speaker 2 (36:32):
Yeah, and that kind of stuff off, you know, so
you gotta be real careful.
Speaker 5 (36:39):
Yep, and piggyback on that.
Speaker 6 (36:42):
I would also say that if you're new and you're
getting involved in all of this, or even if you're
not really involved, but you know, hey, something looked weird
on your ring camera.
Speaker 5 (36:51):
Oh yeah, somebody who.
Speaker 6 (36:55):
Is more experienced in the field than you are to
look at it. Please be open and to having them
say that is a spider creating a web, yeah, or
there's a reflection from a car driving by. I mean right, yeah,
because I've had that happen to be and they're like, no,
that's my dead grandfather and.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
Like, okay, yep, whatever.
Speaker 6 (37:19):
But you want to believe that that brings you comfort,
then you know, go ahead, but don't don't get mad
that we're like oh that you know, hey, thanks for this,
but this is what a this is what I think
is this actually is right?
Speaker 2 (37:33):
And when you're taking pictures too. Take multiple pictures in
the same spot, like you know what I mean, Like,
don't you know even if you have that where you
can just hold it down and take a bunch of pictures,
don't just take one and be like, oh, I got
something here, because that's not always the case.
Speaker 3 (37:50):
It's good.
Speaker 2 (37:51):
It's good to have multiples too, to see, you know.
And videos are learn the difference between dust and bugs.
Speaker 5 (38:00):
That yep, maybe it's a big thing.
Speaker 6 (38:04):
Just because you took a picture of your fire pit
and you think you see the devil in there does
not mean he was actually there.
Speaker 2 (38:10):
Yeah, that one.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
So it made me think of two.
Speaker 7 (38:18):
And I've only had one person like get really mad
for me, like telling them that they were wrong. And
I did it nicely, you know, I wasn't just like
you're a video you know. So someone sent me footage
like I have this ghost running down my hallway and
I got it on camera. It's on my inside my
indoor camera, and so I have tons of video, tons
(38:42):
of video of this and I was like, okay, can
you send me the video? And she sends me one
video and it does it looks like something goes poof
and like runs down the hallway, and I watched it,
you know, a hundred plus times, and I was like,
this is.
Speaker 3 (38:56):
Kind of hard. Can you send me the other video?
Speaker 7 (38:58):
She was really reluctant to send me the other their videos,
like can you send me the other video?
Speaker 3 (39:02):
Like I'm not coming to your house, like because she.
Speaker 7 (39:04):
Lived like four hours away. I was like, if this
is legit, I will happily come and help you because
we do it for free. So I do a lot
of debunking from my computer. And so she sent me
about five or six more and on those ones you
could see it, but when you watched it carefully, you
could see it was like an ant a bug, and
so because.
Speaker 3 (39:25):
It would come up and then like it wasn't fluid.
It was just like but the first video looked very I.
Speaker 7 (39:35):
Mean it went straight down the hallway and through the door,
like it went perfect, just like you would imagine. And
so she's the only one I had get really upset
with me.
Speaker 3 (39:46):
The other one.
Speaker 7 (39:48):
She was like, I pushed out of my bed the handprint,
the handprint from the ghost saw my blanket, and I
was like, cool, can you send me a picture of that?
You know those like minky blankets. She put her hand
on it and like just went sideways a little bit.
And so she sent me just the picture of the handles,
(40:09):
like would you mind putting your hand next to it
or so I have a little you know something compared
to you. Oh yeah, the same size it was her hand.
Speaker 3 (40:15):
Wow.
Speaker 7 (40:18):
And I was like, oh that that's different, Like what
else happened that she never she never me back because
I think she looked at the picture after she sent
it to me.
Speaker 3 (40:27):
It was like, ah, but.
Speaker 6 (40:32):
Yeah, I don't want to discourage anybody from whose whose
news is asking for help.
Speaker 5 (40:39):
I don't want to say that at all, but just
please be.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
Yes, absolutely I heard that.
Speaker 8 (40:45):
And even us experienced investigators will sometimes see something and
it'll happen in the moment, we'll think it's something, and
then we'll debunk it and yeah it's not really something, right.
Speaker 5 (41:00):
Yea, yeah, but we've.
Speaker 2 (41:04):
All been there a time or two for sure, and
then you get then you get bombed out. You're like
a sort of a nutcracker, you know. Yep. All right,
we have another question in chatting. This one's for Rebecca
from alec uh Oh from any wedding slash slash reception
events this past summer at the Cambery House. Did any
(41:26):
ghosts appear in any pictures of the bridal party.
Speaker 8 (41:30):
Not that I've seen yet. They don't always notice. I
had one that we i'd had. I personally had the
picture for a year before I noticed the person in
the window, which is what's on my Instagram that awesome,
cool picture. I'd had that for a year before I
noticed it. Wow, So I haven't noticed any yet. I
(41:53):
will say that I've had a couple of the bridal
weddings this summer had experiences. The one said, well, I
had a whole wedding party that refused to sleep in
the house that got too creeped out, said they were
here and stuff, and so they did not sleep in
the house, even that.
Speaker 5 (42:10):
They planned on it.
Speaker 8 (42:13):
And then I had one where this guy was a
little over top extra and that he decided he wanted
to mow the yard himself.
Speaker 5 (42:24):
What I don't know.
Speaker 8 (42:30):
He asked if it was okay to mow the yard himself,
and I figured, well, if you're gonna be that particular,
go ahead. I'll send me paying somebody in a moment
for your wedding. Go if you want to mow, I
will let you mout. So anyway, he moted all himself
and he ended up being out there like just at
dusk while he was mowing and he said, is it
(42:50):
As the sun went down, he got creeped out and
was gone. And he and then like his his his
family came on the ghost tour because he was so
weirded out by this, and they're like, he is not
the type to get weirded out, Like he is not
the type of person that we would expect to get
(43:12):
weirded out or believe something like that. So the idea
that he was so weirded out that he left, they
were like, this place is definitely haunted. Were coming on
the ghost tour and that that group was like amazing,
very cool. They loved the ghost to We had an
awesome tour with them.
Speaker 2 (43:29):
Very cool. All right, next question for all of the here.
Do you think most hauntings are residual or intelligent hauntings?
Speaker 6 (43:50):
Well as a as a rule, I think the ones
that we interact with are intelligent as far as you know,
like responsive to spirit boxes or yes and no questions
with you know, your K two's or your EMFs or
whatever piece of equipment you're using, that would be intelligent
not to say that there's not revidual there as well,
(44:12):
but I would think you need to be there more
than one night to actually decipher who was residual if
that was the case, Because if they're using the same
motion over and over again, say at a specific time,
you need to be there at that specific time and
then again at that specific time to see the said action.
So just you know, for me and only my opinion,
(44:36):
if you're only there for one night, you're probably going
to have more interaction with intelligent spirits.
Speaker 2 (44:44):
Anybody else want to chime in on that one.
Speaker 7 (44:50):
Like I can on this, Okay, So I can't talk
a lot about So where I work is haunted.
Speaker 3 (44:59):
I mean it's to jail. It's been around since nineteen
eighty three.
Speaker 7 (45:02):
It's full of wonderful, bright, booming energy, very loving and.
Speaker 3 (45:08):
Kind, but so we have both.
Speaker 7 (45:21):
So imagine every single day for forty years, you've had
someone doing cell checks every forty five minutes, making go
into your window and making sure you're okay, you haven't
hurt yourself, you're still.
Speaker 1 (45:36):
Alive, and.
Speaker 7 (45:40):
You'll be somewhere else completely and then an inmate will
call in and be like.
Speaker 3 (45:48):
Someone was just looking at me and it wasn't you.
It's just like.
Speaker 7 (45:54):
They'll see someone come up to their window and then
they'll they'll get up and go look out in the
window and there's no one there. Or you'll be walking
around and the next day someone will like, oh.
Speaker 3 (46:06):
Were you training someone?
Speaker 1 (46:08):
No?
Speaker 7 (46:08):
Oh a cop was following you last night, like around
the building, and you're.
Speaker 3 (46:12):
Like, oh, oh good.
Speaker 2 (46:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (46:16):
But there's also the ones that you can talk to
that will move stuff and throw stuff, and I get
it's it's crazy, but so for me, i'd say it's.
Speaker 3 (46:30):
It's hard to say.
Speaker 7 (46:31):
Just like April said, like if if you want to
see if it's residual, you have to be there for.
Speaker 3 (46:35):
It all time and at work.
Speaker 7 (46:38):
At work, luckily, I was able to see, like get
those events that did happen all the time, nearly every night.
Speaker 3 (46:44):
Like oh yeah, this is residual.
Speaker 7 (46:46):
But then the other stuff when you're walking around it
like toilet paper get chucked at.
Speaker 3 (46:51):
The wall, or someone's magazine and get thrown off.
Speaker 7 (46:53):
The table, or a garbage can and get flipped over,
Like you're like, don't care.
Speaker 8 (47:00):
But I think I think when most people say their
place is haunted, it's typically residual activity. That they're seeing,
you know, because I mean, how often have people told you, well,
my cabinet doors are open, or this door opened, or
you know, all that type of stuff. I heard footsteps
and any type that activity is usually like residual, And
(47:23):
so I think like most people when they're experiencing that
type of stuff are experiencing residual activity. As far as
like if it's.
Speaker 5 (47:30):
More common or not, I don't know.
Speaker 8 (47:32):
We're just not far enough along and like the research
on this to know for sure percentages of it.
Speaker 2 (47:39):
But yeah, I agree too. Honestly, I think there's a
little bit of bolts in some places. But you know,
like you said, you've got to be there all the
time to kind of experience to say, okay, this is
the same thing happening on repeat, you know, at the
same time or whatever.
Speaker 5 (47:59):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (48:01):
You'd have to spend a lot of time in that
location to be able to tell if it's residual or not.
Do you have any thing on that I like my house,
I think part of it's haunted, But I think the
residual is about holiday time and stuff. You're smelling mom
(48:22):
cooking in the You're smelling her cinnamon, rolls and stuff
like that coming through every year at Christmas time. Yeah, right,
because I smelled it just before I came over. Oh jeez. Okay,
we have another question in chat from Ali. She wants
(48:45):
to know do you believe a living person can create
enough energy to create a haunting while they're still alive?
But it's not considered poultrygeist. That's one to think about.
Speaker 8 (49:02):
It not considered poultry gust, not a.
Speaker 6 (49:06):
Poultry geist, so like a chaos attachment or something like that,
maybe or like can it be like I'm not sure
the question.
Speaker 2 (49:19):
Do you believe the learning person can create enough energy
to create a haunting? So I wonder if maybe like
they can create their own activity there, but it's not
to the point where things are being thrown or you know,
like a poultry geist activity like the movie Poultry Guys.
How you know, chairs are being stacked up on tables
(49:40):
and things are being thrown and so like that, but
like maybe they create some kind of energy in there,
but not to the point where it's you know, throwing things.
Do you think they could create something like that?
Speaker 8 (49:58):
I would say yes that dand answer would be yes
because I think you know, there are certain locations that
you'd go to where there's a teenager there or whatever,
and then they're having some experiences and things they're happening.
They're really not quite sure that and then and then
that that person leaves that situation and the activity stops.
(50:22):
And so I think there could be like different levels
of it, you know, like Firestarter props to mine because
fire Starter is based off of a true story that
happened close by where I live. So so that's that's
one that always pops into my head thinking about why
I'm not from McColm, but that you know, it started
(50:46):
small with just like smoldering and then it went to
fires and just you know, I think a lot of times,
especially like the paranormal activity and when you talk about
places the haunted stuff happens, but you don't even really
notice it. And so I would say that that like
(51:06):
that type of stuff could be happening in smaller doses,
and you know, we wouldn't be quite all the way
to Pultegeist's level, that it wouldn't be.
Speaker 2 (51:15):
Happened, gotcha. Yeah, she said it was kind of a
hard way she was trying to figure out the wording
for that.
Speaker 6 (51:23):
Well, I mean if you've got severe anxiety.
Speaker 5 (51:27):
You know, that's.
Speaker 6 (51:27):
Gonna like your vibration completely, like like it's just gonna explode,
and that energy has got to go somewhere.
Speaker 5 (51:40):
So you know, is there a chance of that. I'm
gonna say yes.
Speaker 6 (51:46):
Simply because I don't know if that is a yes
or no, But I am I can absolutely see somebody
who having very high vibration, very high anxiety, and having
all of that chaos just completely attached.
Speaker 5 (51:59):
To them all the time.
Speaker 6 (52:00):
That might affect something, It might bring some worse. I
don't really know.
Speaker 2 (52:09):
That's a very good question, Ben, Do you have anything
on that one.
Speaker 7 (52:14):
I'm not sure on that one, at least I'm not
knowledgeable enough I think to comment on that, because I yeah,
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (52:21):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (52:22):
I think somebody could kind of add activity to a location.
Speaker 5 (52:30):
In fact, I know somebody can.
Speaker 3 (52:35):
What was that?
Speaker 2 (52:36):
What?
Speaker 5 (52:37):
What? What?
Speaker 2 (52:38):
What?
Speaker 8 (52:40):
I don't know if that reminds me. I had somebody
to offer me the other day where they bought a
house that was rigged up with all the stuff to
make noises in it and they were going to be
removing those So if I would like them to add
to my house to to make noises and stuff and
have paranormal activity that they would give them to me.
Speaker 2 (53:01):
Oh my gosh, what I'll take.
Speaker 5 (53:10):
Lord. I really can't speak for Fritz, but.
Speaker 6 (53:13):
I no, Yeah, that's not.
Speaker 8 (53:19):
Really what we're doing here.
Speaker 6 (53:21):
So we'res open by themselves, the doors locked by themselves,
the lights go on and off by them.
Speaker 5 (53:29):
We're fine, We're.
Speaker 8 (53:30):
Fine, Alex says.
Speaker 2 (53:35):
So he was kind of he's in chat and he
was kind of dropping a little bit on this one.
He said, the Stone tape theory. He says, he thinks
that behaviors and actions can leave behind so much emotional energy,
both good and bad energy. Good energy like Kim smelling
the memories during the holadays. So that's a good one.
Speaker 5 (53:57):
Yeah, that's a good call.
Speaker 2 (53:59):
Yeah, absolutely absolutely. I think we have we have time
for one more question. Okay, what is this? I know
we have such more, but we were having such a
good conversation about it, all right. Do you think spirits
(54:22):
drill us with questions like we drill them with questions?
Do you think they're muttering something under their breath at
us and maybe we just don't hear it. I think
they're probably discussing us out all the time.
Speaker 8 (54:38):
They're like, go away, leave me alone. Yeah, I told
her five times to do that, and she didn't hear that, like.
Speaker 6 (54:56):
I already told you my name, I already told or
like by Steve and He who shall not be named
TV show for an interaction, and then it happens, and
then they whip themselves, scream and run out the room,
you know, the spirits gouya be like, are you kidding
me right now?
Speaker 3 (55:16):
You're not possessed?
Speaker 5 (55:22):
Amen?
Speaker 3 (55:26):
That's as salt.
Speaker 8 (55:30):
Or like, like the spirit box says yes, and then
everybody in their room says did I just say yes?
I think it said yes.
Speaker 5 (55:36):
I'm pretty sure I said yes.
Speaker 2 (55:37):
Did you say yes?
Speaker 5 (55:38):
And you confirmed?
Speaker 8 (55:39):
Did you say yes?
Speaker 1 (55:40):
Like?
Speaker 3 (55:40):
Come on?
Speaker 8 (55:42):
That annoying on the other side from our port of you,
I can see why, you know, we all do that,
but the other side that has gotta be annoying.
Speaker 9 (55:53):
Like I said, yes, clean out, damn ears.
Speaker 7 (56:01):
I've honestly never thought about it, but it's totally probably
completely true.
Speaker 2 (56:07):
It probably is. That's how I'm gonna be. That's how
I'm gonna be like, Oh.
Speaker 5 (56:11):
Here we go again. I'm looking forward to it. I
am looking for it. I have a list I you know,
I have plans for whenever I'm on the other plant.
Speaker 2 (56:25):
That way, I have plenty of people I want to
look at it. We asked all these questions all the time, right,
what happens somebody gets scrapped because they're annoyed. Yeah, yeah,
that's probably why they pinch us, pull her hair and
stuff and like hello, like.
Speaker 6 (56:45):
Yeah, or like Harold pat me on the butt, you know,
and again we'd be like anymore tonight, No I am not.
I'm taking my choice and I'm going home.
Speaker 2 (56:57):
Goodbye, Alie, says the ghost spiltea about all of us
to the other ghosts.
Speaker 5 (57:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (57:12):
Can you imagine, just like a ghost roast, They're just
roasting all of us. Oh, it's them again. Remember when.
Speaker 6 (57:24):
Dude, dude, watch this until I get this guy to
wet himself.
