break down WrestleMania twenty eight WrestleMania oncein a lifetime. I'm going to give

sometimes and they were just on somany times that one day I'm just like,
you know, it's been a year. Do you guys just want to

get started here. So WrestleMania twentyeight, Maria, Where did this take
place? WrestleMania twenty eight took placein April first, April Fool's Day of
twenty twelve, at the SUNLIGHTE Stadiumin Miami, Gardens, Florida. What's
interesting, and we'll talk about itlater, maybe briefly, is that they
had Florida there. It's kind ofjust like a sign of the times was

one of the one of the groupsfor musical entertainment during this WrestleMania it's actually
the highest grossing pay per view eventin wrestling history. Oh yep. So
attendance was seventy three hundred and sixtythree And I can't wait to get into

this first match because it's so short. Well before we get into this first
match, and uh, we hadseen that there was a dark match,
and we did not watch the darkmatch, but it had the Ussos versus
uh Primo and Epico. Yeah,so I wanted to go ahead and get

this picture because it's uh, Ialways forget that the use who started out
like this, Yeah yeah, yeah, and now yeah, what if they
don't have their long hair anymore.They kind of have like these faux hawks
and a little USh like now theyhave the in the part or the sides

kind of shaved. And I'm afan of all stages. So yeah,
so I figured, technically not theirWrestleMania debut, but we should acknowledge the
Ussos. Uh, they're they're tryingto make it into WrestleMania, and if
they had just been a little bitmore popular, probably would have been celebrating

here their twelfth year in the WrestleMania. Wow. With that, now we
can get to the first match.Well, I'm curious, do you think
they'll be a part of this WrestleMania. Yeah, they are, they are
going to. Yeah, we'll goahead and revisit that, or we'll go
get into that at the end ofthe show when we'll do our random not

random but are just collective tidbits thatwe had from watching Ron smackdownd okay,
and try to make some predictions sincewe're not going to be doing a live
show next week. Why because we'llbe at WrestleMania all of us, all
three of us and Doyle and joand we'll be at WrestleMania forty featured guests

listening or watching, So we're excited. Yeah. So the first match we
have here is Seamus versus Daniel O'Brien, who is the World Heavyweight Champion.
This match goes for eighteen seconds andnow I believe we have talked more than

this match actually lasted. Wayne,what do you think about this? Man?
Okay, so what a shocker ofan opening match. You know,
like Daniel Brien was hot on thisheat of being this heel that he currently
is. The the yes movement isstill around, but it's you know,

now we got heal Daniel Broton,you know, heal, but he's with
a j Lee. You know,this is before a j Lee kind of
broke out, I think into likea singles wrestler and you know, future
wife of c M Punk. Youknow, it's it's crazy like to think
that, uh you know, DanielBrian and then later Mary's Breebella, like

just you know what I mean,Like watching that, I'm just like,
holy crap, Like so much haschanged since then. Uh, you know,
Seamus coming in hot babyface. He'sstill pretty young in his career.
Yeah, Pacy's Seamus. He's almostblending into the background of it. Yeah,

oh my gosh. Uh yeah,eighteen seconds. I don't you know.
I was shocked that a world titlematch was treated like this. Eighteen
seconds. It was a quick wayto get just a title off somebody,
like extremely quick for a world title. I didn't. I didn't like it.
I oh, man, I wasjust like really because as a fan,

like like you know, I wasa fan of Daniel Brian, I
got Daniel Brian shirts in there.I was part of the Yes movement like
the rest of the damn world.So to see like like to pay the
ticket to to get the shirt,to be like, man, I want
to see Daniel Bryan, our worldheavyweight champion. I got front row seats

like I'm gonna like see daniel'brien andthen like or like maybe it's a Shamus
Mark, you know, but likeand then like eighteen seconds and it's just
like what whit? And now yougot the you got the rest of the
night now to be like sour aboutit, but yeah, it's it's awful
that eighteen seconds. But hopefully thisnever happens again. A title change kind

of made me sour on the worldheavyweight title being treated as such. So
and one more thing before and Iforgot is the now well I don't know,
man, Dan O'Brien the only manwho was who has kissed a j
Lee, Nikki Bella and Breebella.You know, like a man if he

does yeah, so that was beforehe free. Well, for me,
I agree with Wayne, this isa very quick way for a title and
it's not a recommended match for me, for two wrestlers of this caliber.
I thought we could have gone justa little bit longer, so I'd say
pass. But again, if youblink a few times, you'll miss it

anyway. So eighteen seconds, whatabout you? Yes? For me,
I do not recommend that people goback and watch this, mainly because there
are other matches in this card thatget more time, way more time than
this match. And it's the firstmatch, So how do you go from

where everyone else gets at least fifteentwenty minutes match time? And you know
what, guess what, you guysare just going to go out there for
like thirty seconds. I know thiswas probably something that Vince wanted to do.
I've been reading when I was doingthe research that intent. At first,

they did want someone else to winAfrigat. Uh could it be it's
Jericho? They wanted Jericho to winRumbo, but Sheets had gotten a hold
of the plans. So Vince islike, you know what, let's have
Seamus win it. Wow? Soyeah, I remember that, Yeah,

they did Shamus win it, andthen I guess they were like, well,
we can't. Punk was hot.He was still writing the wave from
that pipe bomb he had put outearlier in June of last year of twenty
eleven, So we're still writing that, Hi. Vince is still trying to
capitalize and he's still kind of hothere with the crowd. And we'll get

into that a little bit later whenwe get to that match, but it's
still one of those things where Ifelt like Vince just didn't want to have
Daniel Bryant as a champion anymore,and this was the way of also like,
you know, cleaning up everything.Well, shame is this is this,
this is the new guy. He'shot, blah blah blah and whatever,

Danil Brian, You're always a championin my heart. Yeah. I
mean, let's be honest, like, after this, it's not like they
threw Daniel Brian into the mid cards. I mean that man had several other
title runs after wait Tyl Ranns.I mean he's the type of guy who
forced his way into WrestleMania for aworld title shot, you know, so

it don't worry people. He's okayand he ends up marrying Freebella. I
think he's gonna be all right.Yeah, he's okay, that's true.
Yeah, losing eighteen seconds. Butand with that we move on to the
next match, match number two onthe card, Kine the Big Red Machine

versus Randy Orton. So, Iknow you're a fan of Kane. Were
you rooting for him me or Wayne? You? I am not a fan
of Kine, but this point intime, I'm also kind I was kind
of like in the middle with Randy, because like, Randy is always going

like and which is good for himbecause he could just work whenever he wants
with whoever he wants. He canflip to be the heel or he could
flip to be the face. Butthis was kind of like middle of the
road Randy, where he's like kindof like, yeah, he's just like
doing me and whoever they booked mewith, I'll go ahead and just be

what they need me to be.So yeah, so what about you,
Maria? I mean, usually I'mrooting for Orton his wrestling style and Caine
the undertakers what is it? Brother? I don't mind him wrestling at all,

but I thought this match was alittle lackluster and I was a little
surprised because I expected more out ofit. So this is actually not a
recommend image for me. It wasnot one of my favorites of WrestleMania in
twenty eight. What do you guysthink, Wayne? You know, it
was just, let's face it,Caine and Radio Org and no matter who
you put them with, they're goingto put on a decent match. The

two very safe guys too. Atthis point, they're still they're veterans.
At this point. You know,you're not dealing with a young Orton or
a green Kane. You're dealing withthe big red machine Cane. But yeah,
two veterans in the ring. Theygot eleven minutes to put on a
good show, and they did.They put on a decent match. You

know, like I said, Ortonplayed it safe. They the only high
spot they really had was a chokeslam from the second rope. You know,
Randy was on the top and that'show Kane finished him. You know,
Caine getting a win over Orton though, uh, that was something different.
I I understand per storyline and wherethey were situated by at the end

(16:15):
of the day, you know,Caine beat Brandy Orton at WrestleMania. You
know, these these WrestleMania wins,there are always the first go tos that
we remember when it comes to people'swin loss records. It's like, oh,
yeah, that's that's the big one. You know, that's the big
one. So you know, Iwas shocked that they give Kane the win

for this. You know, II enjoyed it, just a regular Cane
and Orton match. You know,I knew I wasn't going to be seeing
top rope maneuvers and super flips andstuff. I was gonna see two big
guys, you know, just dukingit out. Caine's obviously like close to
what like seven feet like six tenor something like that. Norton's a big

guy himself, Like I'm six,I think Orton's like six five sixty six,
So yeah, very tall. Sotwo big dudes in the ring,
you're guaranteed to be satisfied either way. So is this a recommended match for
you? Then? I mean,if I'll recommend it only because if you're

a fan of Kane or Orton,it's it's still a solid match. You
know, I didn't see botches.I didn't see any spots that they were
cringey. They I mean it wasgood. It was a good match of
these guys in their prime. Soyeah, what about you For me,
I do not recommend that anyone goback and rewatch this match, like even

seeing like the highlight reel that theygive us again. Just yeah, they
reminded me and how much I didnot care for this match. Yeah it
was. It wasn't a five starmatch, you know. Well it's not
about that, but there's the wholestoryline around it really didn't make help elevate

anything like to from the match,didn't help elevate any of the story of
why this few is happening. Oh, just to see a little bit of
the tail of tape. They're kindof close to similar. I mean,
Kane is a little bit hunched over, but there's Randy starting off kind of
hot here. And then it isthe first attempt at choke slam that Randy

manages to get out of when Kaneis rallying back, and then Randy's also
attempting his own rally and this isone of the couple of times that he
tries in r KO. We alwaysgot to show Randy doing his draping DDT
because we are spot. It's agood spot to be able to do it

(18:47):
with the man of Kane's height.Yeah, yeah, you know, Randy
knows what he has to do whenhe's the face. But it seems like
for this match, they were justgoing through the step and they're like they
had nothing on the line. There'sno titles or anything there, and they
were just like they just go outthere, Like you said, we'll play

it safe. We'll give these guysa good match, and it's like a
match you would probably see like ona raw or SmackDown on TV. Nothing
special about it, and that's whyI wouldn't recommend anyone go back or revisit
or a new or fan. Irallied and actually rewatch this match to see
if I would think any like differentof it after I watched it the first

time. But I think Wayne calledit right, like the right word.
It was safe. I expected moreout of these two. I really enjoy,
you know, seeing them rustle fanof Brandy great stature because he he
has a personality. But with allthat, this is still not a recommended
match for me. It was kindof dull, so it's a pass.

Yeah. I was trying to Iwas like, let me, rewatch it.
Does it get better? Is itbetter? No? It was just
okay. Yeah. Sometimes you know, because of how early we wake up,
sometimes we're both fighting trying to getthrough this rewatch and you're like,
yeah, what did I miss orwas it good? And then you had

to go back and rewatch it?So the rewatch the rewatch. Yeah.
So with this one, uh,we had like a little bit yet there
was a comedy bit that what theyhad Sentino with Mick Foley and this guy
from the Dlias Catch. I guessmaybe it was just starting to premiere on

the Discovery Channel. I've never watchedit. Have you watched the Delias Catch?
Wayne? Have you? No?I mean like a catch maybe like
bits and pieces of episodes, butit's I know this is not my thing,
but I guess it was. Thepairing is on the same network that
they were on, and I getit. They're promoting. So yeah,

and then for a good like palatecleanser, because you have this match that
you know was probably like it didn'thit the way they were thinking. You
know, usually you want to seehave like a cool down or like a
palate cleanser match after something big likethat's probably how they plotted it out and
it didn't happen, but it wasgreat to see Mick Foley here and then

Santino, and they both bring outtheir props. So mister Soco makes in
appearance, the Cobra makes an appearancefor Santino. Yeah, and then we
get the Hall of Famer coming inthere around Simmons and he's milking and he's
also doing the Randy Orton milking hismoment in the sun, and then finally

we get his damn let me tellyou how like that that's such a good
contract deal to have. Like yourjob is to occasionally show off to Raw
SmackDown or a pay per view,and all you guys do is just walk
up and just have the delivery thedelivery because it's the timing that he does

it so well. He makes youwait and then it's just durm like it's
so good. Uh you know,I this bit. I got my Mick
Foley Santino moment at the Royal Rumble. I think I think it may have
been the same year that they bothwere in the Rumble together and they both
pull out the Socco and the Cobraand they duked it out. You know,

we always get like, you're right, the palate cleansers. It is
good between matches. Uh, Honestly, dude, I like Santino. I
love Santino. Anytime he's on,I'm always laughing. Uh, He's like,
the what we have now are truth? You know? So somebody a
little silly, a little funny.I'm like, yeah all the time.

Yeah, evil stare downs. Itold Carlos the last and we're watching rom
like everyone's just looking at each otherreally angry. Everybody's each other. I
was like, how long can wedo this for staring and staring back?
Like eight more days? That's somethinglike that. I can see it with

that match. Three. Yeah,Cody Rhoads and a big show, the
biggest show, and this match goesfor in five minutes and nineteen seconds.
Ugh for the w w INN kindof championship. Yes, that Cody Rhodes
had at this moment. So Wayne, why did you start us off here?

What did you think about this match? Before adrenaline was in his soul,
before he was the American Nightmare,before he made bad decisions to get
tattoos on his neck and start acompany called ae W. This man was
the Intercontinental Champion, and not onlywas he the Icy Champion, he brought
back the classic white strap beautiful Goldtitle. I loved that version. That,

Don't get me wrong. I wasa fan of the other version before
that, the kind of one thatwas in between. But when he brought
that old school one back and hegave it the white strap, and it
just works so well with his character. And this is not peak Cody Roads,
people, this is we get aroller coaster ride of Cody ROAs throughout

his career with the dashing Cody Roads. And then we get the mask Cody
Roads, and we get the stardust, and we get the legacy Cody
Roads. I know, I'm jumpingall over the place. Here. We
get the A. W. CodyRoads, blonde hair Cody Rows. Now
we have the homeland hear Cody Roads. And now we have the I gotta

finish my story again Cody Roads.But this, this Cody Roads, I
liked. I liked his inter Continentaltitle run. I really did enjoy it.
He was a heel at this time, I believe you know. Big
Show was the type of guy who'swell well known for in the business too.

Like he's like a grilled cheese thathas to be flipped all the time,
and each side of that grilled cheesesays face heel, face heel,
because one week he could be aface, the other week he could be
heel. Yeah, he's he's he'sa calm giant. And then we'll just
turn on you and then he remindsyou that like he's a goof at sometimes,

but he's also you know, dependingwhen where he's ranges between three hundred
and sixty to five hundred pound giant. You know. Yeah, yeah,
the medium show, the the Jacksix pack abs show. Uh, you
know, now he's aw show.So but yeah, and then so you

know, ladies and gentlemen, BigShow beat Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania. Yeah
he went in a champion. Youknow, I didn't leave a champ in.
But you know, five minutes,it seems about right, like big
shows, a big guy like hegets wined. This man's not going to
put on a ten to twenty minutematch, even though we got a like

eleven minute match prior to this,right with Kanan Norton. But you just
unfortunately you're just not going to getthat with Big Show. You know,
you're not gonna get that Big ShowYou're not gonna get that with Great KULLI.
You're not going to get that withOmas. You're not. You didn't
get that with Andre the Giant.Even It's hard to put those kind of
long matches with guys that big tokeep us entertained long enough. You know,

this is a good Did they entertainyou? Was this a good match
for you? I did? Ienjoyed it. I enjoyed it because I
enjoyed seeing the nostalgia of a youngerCody Rhoads. Because now, you know,
I'm looking at this completely different nowgoing into WrestleMania forty, watching WrestleMania
twenty eight, like, oh man, like younger Cody Roads, like interental,

you know, peak Cody Roads.So yeah, I enjoyed this for
for what it was, just thenostalgia fact of these two. But match
was kind of slow, and let'slet's face it, uh. I didn't
see Cody Roads coming out as winner. He seemed like a little ship heel

at the time. So yeah,I'm a fan of the Big Show.
He is a beast strong man,and like you said, we've seen many
faces of the Big Show. I'mglad to see him wrestling because We've seen
him at some WrestleMania's having some funkyspots or having some celebrity matches, and
those have always been not my favoritedid so to see his wrestling showcase was

good for me. I also enjoyseeing a young Cody Roads compared to the
Cody Roads that we see today thatwe all know in some love or some
love to hate. And I thoughtit was a good match, but overall,
it wasn't a recommended match for me, even though we had good spots.
What about your Carlos? Yeah,I mean, speaking of the good
spots, I like the spot herewhere Cody tries to do that over the

top kind of dive at him andthe Big Show catches him. But not
only does the Big Show catch him, but he throws him back in.
Yeah. Always showing strength to bigshows. Ever, He's always impressing you
somehow, whether he kicks out andthrows somebody halfway across the ring or he

does something like this. Yeah.So you know they start off with the
face. You know, Cody's tryingto avoid him, you know, because
he's been talking all this shit aboutthe Big Show and how he chokes when
it comes to WrestleMania so they did. Like the whole setup like Green psychology
wise was there, but this matchdidn't compliment the storyline a head go like

just like the previous match where Iwas like Randy and Kane they had they
had a good match, but thestoryline was not there. This was also
a flip flop. The storyline wasthere. You had Cody doing his best,
like his good hel work and antagonizingthe Big Show and kind of like
making fun of him, like you'rethe Big Show and you've been here for

so long, but every time it'sWrestleMania moment, they got you doing silly
stuff like getting knocked out by flowingMayweather, wearing a sumo suit, things
like that. So secure the pinin the wind? Yeah, were you
satisfied with the Yeah? Yeah,yeah, I think maybe, Like I

don't know, like he's sweaty.Yeah, so I don't know if it
was absolutely tears or anything like that, but he's a sweaty show. Henly
earned that title. That's that's uhyeah, but good for the Big Show.
It's not one of those big majortitles that he's had going into a

Wrestlemingia like in Wrestlmingia twenty where hehad. I believe it was this belt
he had the inter or no,it was the US Championship, the US
title he had, and then helost it to John Cena and the Wrestlming.
In sixteen, he was in thatfour way match for the w W
Championship with mcfoley, Stone Cold inthe Rock, and then he was in

that triple threat match with John Cenaand Edge for the w W title.
He didn't win that one, butyeah, it's a good thing for the
show finally to get some type ofI guess recognition for all of his things.
Yeah. Oh. First comment herefrom our live stream from our longtime

viewer and previous guest, Anthony Jones. Uh, Cody Rhoades, Randy Orton,
and The Rock are probably the onlynew wrestlers that are probably as good
or better than their father. Tony. You are correct. I agree with
you. I agree with you withRandy and The Rock, and I'm still
kind of mixed on Cody. Weask him again after WrestleMania forty. Uh,

that's right after he his story.He manages to finish the story and
we'll get into that one later.But yeah, I do not recommend that
people go back and watch this match, whether you're a new fan or U.
But if you want to see ayoung Cody, yeah, because he's
got the work, like he's stillfiguring out, but he hasn't found his

gimmick yet. So I guess ifyou want to watch young Cody, watch
it, see him young, andthen you'll get to see him for With
this, we go to the nextmatch on the card, that is match
number four. This was your favoritematch, Kelly Kelly with Maria Minunos versus

Eve Torres and Beth Phoenix. Andthis match goes for six minutes and twenty
two seconds. Maria, it wasa long ast six minutes and twenty two
seconds. What part of it didyou not like? Was it this part
where Maria is doing her best Kishiimpersonation? For he also got a makeup

on her tush sala I looked likeshe had a streak on her white pants.
Yeah, that's probably a lesson foranyone who's watching that may want to
be a wrestler. I do notwear any type of white clothing because as
these jeans did, they kind ofmaybe picked up some lipstick or makeup,

and it made it seem like youhad an accident. In your pants.
So those that know me and thosethat don't know me probably do not know
that I am a huge fan ofMariam and Nuna's I used to watch the
show when it was on. Ilike her. I just think she's like
early sweek el. But that said, this match was horrific. She was

gassed during the match and it washard to watch. We've seen a celebrity
Last WrestleMania twenty seven, we gotto see Snooky doing flips across the stage,
so I wanted to that actually wasthe most impressive thing I've seen any
celebrity do until we got Bad Bunnyand Logan Paul recently, you know.

the years is the arm drop test, because not a lot of people continue

or family members. Well, webeen watching matches with an arm drop test.
When you're like lift up, hisarm would drop once, lift it

are right there, and he startsshaking it. And if you've been watching

it a little bit old, likea little bit longer, you would have
been used to the hulkogan hulking uppart at that point. But yeah,
