Speaker 1 (00:01):
You are now listening to you Rings Kings Boxing World
flashbronboards right. Shout out to the fan. Appreciate y'all being
in this episode of Ring Kings Boxing. I'm big qute.
You don't talk about a little boxing today? Man, did
y'all hear the one right here about TKO? Another TKO
affiliated property partners up with Paramount and sky Dance. You

(00:22):
see that's the great Dana White there in Turkey ala sheet.
They're as they're looking to build their boxing league. They're
securing TV rights and all this stuff. And the Turkey
told you a long time ago that hey man, we're
going to boxing league. So here it is, right, let's
talk about some of this stuff. TKO has rights deals
with several media companies for the WWE, including Netflix, ESPN, NBC, Universal,

(00:48):
and the CW. For the UFC, they just recently inked
a huge contract with Paramount. Those relationships with Paramounts new
owners billionaire signed David Ellison and his team at sky
Dance certainly helped. When you UFC president Dana White and
the ww president Nick Kahan, we're looking for a broadcast
home for the promotion, the boxing promotion they run for
TKO Saudi Royalty Advisor Turkey A. Lashik, the promotion Zepha

(01:13):
Boxing announced today September twenty nine that Paramount Plus will
be the home for all their events in the United States,
Canada and Latin America starting next year. Unlike that recent
deal with the UFC, no terms were announced on the deal.
Now Front Office Sports reports it's a five year deal.
Here's some of the press release right here. They announced
the landmark media rights agreement with Zefha Boxing. ZAFA Boxing

(01:36):
is the new professional boxing promotion formed by TKO and
leading entertainment conglomerate SELLA, which leadership from the UFC President
and a CEO Dana White and heat Turkey la She,
Chairman of the General and Entertainment Authority and President of
Saudi Arabia Boxing Federation, Salah Managing director and CEO, doctor
Rakhan Oharty, ww president and TKA board member mister Nick

(02:00):
con So you'll see beginning in January of next year,
Paramount will exclusively distribute a full state slate of Zeppha
Boxing events, starting with twelve action packed cards, with plans
to grow the number in subsequent years. The boss will
be available via Paramounts direct to customer streaming platform Paramount
Plus with the potential for select events to be simulcast

(02:22):
on CBS, America's leading broadcast network and other Paramount platforms.
Dayana White that I am really excited to bring great
boxing events to a global audience. There are millions of
boxing fans that will now be able to watch competitive
fights with up and coming boxers as well as the
biggest stars in the sport. Paramount will be the home
for the UFC EN boxing fans to watch the greatest

(02:44):
fights in combat sports. So this is big, even the Turkey,
said some Turkey als. She says, this partnership with Paramount
and reinforces our vision to redefine the way viewers consume boxing.
More fight fans will now have access to watch some
of the most exciting boxers around the world. We have
seen the proof that the appetite is there. This is
the future for live boxing coverage and will ensure the

(03:06):
sport continues and thrive. So this is very interesting to
say the least. A lot of heavy or big wigs
a part of this deal. Because they have the boxing
set up, they needed a way for it to be broadcast,
and Dana White was able to organize the sport. Now,
what does this mean? In my opinion, what does this
really mean for boxing as we see it today. If

(03:28):
you watched another episode The Ring Kings Boxing famly kind
of talked about the digital Javonta Davis versus the Jake
Paul fight. I kind of made mention of that, the
Mike Tyson versus may Well, even though these are two
retired boxers, that's a little different. That's their retire fighters.
So I guess that's fine, you know, But the Tank
Davis and Jake Paul fight makes no sense to me.

(03:50):
It's just a great It's just the payday for Tank
and Javonte Uh Tank, Javontae Davis and Jake Paul. It
really is. It doesn't make any sense. It's just money
play right. You turn on the championship rematch with a
guy that beat you. In my estimation, I thought the
MANE wrote and beat him, and he could have jumped
back in there and flattened him and then later on

(04:12):
took the fight for money. But make sure you fix
the mistake, No, sir, I want the money. I want
forty million dollars. And also it's not just that, but
it's other things. Like we want the fights, like we
want some of these fights where guys are ducking guys,
the managers are moving around making software opposition. That's one
thing if you watch the UFC, that doesn't happen. They
don't have all of these people in the way. They

(04:33):
don't have all of these boxing organizations in a way.
The fact that there's so many belts, that's just belts
are just giving away for nothing. It should be one
belt per class and that's it shouldn't be no interim titles,
shouldn't be all these stupid ass in the Continental chi
all this bull crap like it's in pro wrestling or
fake wrestling or whatever. I like how the organization is.

(04:54):
There's no greedy promoters in a way, you know, moving
in ducking fighters for smaller fighters, for this type of s.
But I could see what they're attempting to do, and
you can see whatever the boxing that Turkey Ala She
and Danny Dana White hats in mind. It's one of
those things where you win, you climb in regardless of
who it is, you're gonna fight them. You're not going
to refuse fights, You're not going to do all this

(05:14):
kind of stuff, and that is something that boxing has left.
It has doesn't have the organization because you have all
these different boxing parties operating and some of these fighters
they duck here to go over here, they you know,
all this kind of stuff and it's just too much.
So we are kind of missing out on a lot
of these fights. Now recently we've been getting a lot

(05:35):
of what I will call the fantasy fights due to
the fact that Turkey Ala Sheik's money is involved and
he's paying for a front and the money for fights
that people really want to see. But if it wasn't
for his money, these fights would never materialize. Like if
Turkey Ala Sheikh was back in the day there he
was operating, but not in this capacity today as he
was in the past. Like I say, for instance, if

(05:57):
he was around during the period of time like he
had today, when a period of time with DeVonta Deontay
Wilder had a belt and Anthony Joshua had all of
the belts, right it was, you know, his one belt
against Anthony Joshua belt. They should have fought then. And
I heard Deontay said he went there and he didn't
want he wanted to take get more money because he

(06:18):
felt his one belt was worth more than more than
the three belts that Anthony Joshua had, so they could
never ha shot a deal. If Turkey Ala Sheik was
or was there like he is now in this capacity,
then then that fight would have been realized. We'd have
actually seen that fight happen. And not only that, but
we would have seen the type the Tyson Fury and

(06:39):
Anthony Joshua fight. I think Tyson would have beat them,
but we would have seen that fight when those guys
were at their primes as opposed to all the nit
picking back and forth and I am a c and
Wilders not seeing itself as a B side. He wanted
to be They all this foolishness the end. What does
it mean to for Zephyr Boxing? What does it mean?
Let's take a look at this man, because I was

(07:00):
able to kind of pull this up and I wanted
to kind of share this with you on this ring.
Kings Zupha Box a new professional boxing promotion founded by
Dana White and Turkey Alaschik. Right, we know that part
the official launch, TK announce its expansion into boxing with
the revival of the Zepher brand. This was the June
of twenty twenty five, we talked about the broadcast deal.
We just read over that the paramount and all this

(07:21):
kind of stuff, so they have a way to distribute
the box and listen, Dana did make mention of the
fact that and said that they're getting rid of the
pay per view model. Y'all remember that. So the pay
per view model they got rid of it. It doesn't
exist because they make more money. If the fights were
in essence on national television where people wouldn't have to

(07:43):
pay a price, it should be very seamlessly. Let let
the fight be incorporated some way into the program this
sort of thing. Let them deal with that. But I
liked that idea, and this kind of goes back to
days when you used to see championship fights on television.
You didn't have to pay for it, like you can
see really good fights on the TV. The sport will
grow better in this capacity because you can see competitive

(08:04):
fighting or organized without having greedy promoters involved in the process,
without all of the confusion. The best fight and the
best that's how the fight game was supposed to be.
But being that it's behind a paywall with a lot
of it, it is not like some of these you
pay a subscription to watch the NBA. Right, some of
the games are free on TV. Right, you got digital TV,
you know, you pay for a service like you might

(08:26):
catch games on a few of these networks that cover
or have a deal with the NBA or the NFL,
Like the NFL has its own network where it plays
as games, but it has a contract with several other
major networks for us the games to be out to
the public, and when you pay your subscription to that
particular service, then that is added and factored in, so
you watch the games automatically. It's very seamlessly and easy.

(08:49):
So when you watch the boxing game, it's not the
case they don't they're not exposed to the audience like
you get NFL or NBA or even college. They're behind
for large parts that behind the paywall. So if you're
being able to fix it, this way helps the boxing
game grow because it gets out in front of more people.
But anyway, the Zupher boxing business model UFC style promotion

(09:12):
Dana White intends to bring the UFC successful promotional model
to boxing. It's involved centralizing the sport under one banner
and focusing on building up promising new talent. We know
how Dana took over the UFC. Key's the man, right.
There aren't all these other guys, and you respect that
because you know you're gonna always get the fights that

(09:33):
you want to see. There aren't greedy promoters in there.
It's like, okay, you win, you go here, you win, here,
you go. It's like, you know, just win and move on.
And its schedule fights. They schedule the fight for the fighters.
The guys decide and they fight. That's how it goes, right. Well,
it's a model. Can it work in boxing? The emphasis
on prospects. Uffle Boxing plans to focus on matching top

(09:53):
prospects and up and coming boxers rather than just established stars.
The aim is to create future stars, the same way
Dana White's Contender series Bill's talent for the USC. So
what does that mean? Like you have some fighters that
are superstar fighters and what they do is they'll do
with tank Davis does, which instead of fighting fighters from
you know that are professional fighters in the sport, they'll

(10:16):
start being selfish. I ain't gonna see the man being selfish.
But he won't do a defense of his title even
though he had he finished with a draw against Lamont
Roach because he looked like crap. You know, he kneeled
down and talked about stuff being in his eye. He
should have got back in the ring and fixed the error.
As opposed to doing that, I'm just take forty million
dollars because I'm tired of boxing. That's what he's been saying.
I'm gonna retire because I'm tired of boxing. Boxing is born,

(10:37):
you know, instead of you having the fight hammered up
or hamstrung with that particular star fighter, and everybody's chasing
this star fighter just to get a fight with the belts,
and he don't want to fight them because he don't
see anything worthwhile than doing that. But that's not going
to be the case in Dana's situation, because when you
were in the UFC, you're gonna fight that guy. That's
how it works. So he's building up names, you know,

(10:59):
building up You're gonna fight the top fighters and everyone.
The majority of these guys will have a name. The
top guys will, you know, and it's just a small
strategym the creation of new titles. White has stated that
Zupha Boxing will only recognize its own championship belt and
the ring belt because that's Turkey Alashikh. You know he
owns the Ring magazine, owns the ring belt. He bought that.

(11:20):
So there's only representing of the zepher title and the
ring belt. Now they'll ignore all the other major sanctioning bodies,
the WBC, the WBO, the IBF and the WBO partnership
with Saudi Arabia. The companies heavily backed by Saudi Arabia's
money which funds all these boxing events. And do we
know that Sheikh has money longer than train smoke, no

(11:40):
doubt about it. So what does this mean for the WBC,
the WBO, the IBF and the WBO. The WBC, the WBO,
the WBO and the IBF, what does this mean? It
means you in trouble. I mean your ADS is in trouble.
Just like the pay per view model, These these boxing
organizations are become, they're gonna become, They're gonna become spectators

(12:04):
to the future of boxing. You know, with him with
with with it, because they have Dana White's organization in
his name. Smart business man, you got his organization and
his name on this Zuffer boxing thing. We got Turkey
Alashik's money, and you have the fact that he has
a name in the boxing community as a person that
gets money for fighters. Even you know, we see the

(12:24):
Devin Handy fight. The stuff that didn't did in New
York wasn't all that right, didn't look like much of anything.
But outside of that, a lot of the other stuff
that we've seen happen with Turkey Alashika was actually pretty respectable,
to be honest WITHI. So in the end, man, all
I can tell you is that I definitely think Zephyr
Boxing thing and what Dana White's doing, it's going to
be a help. Getting it to these the national TV

(12:48):
so it can be out in front of you more
is a plus. Having the organization set up with boxes
fight the boxes fight who they're supposed to fight is
a plus. They're taking a WBO to WBC, the WBL
and the IBF out of it. With greedy promoters of
vaulturing around to see if they can find stuff a

(13:09):
money to be made is a plus. So what will
happen with some of these leagues. A lot of these
people simply fold into it, or they'll compete with it.
You can't. I don't know if they'll compete with it.
I think a lot of the fighters that are looking
for money, they're gonna go with Turkey Ala Chik, and
they anticipate they're not gonna be able to get all
these guys, so they already know they might have to
create their own people. But there will be organization in

(13:31):
so far as and this is all based on what
we've been told and what's been reported upon about Dana
White and upher boxing ideology. They talked about all those
multiple belts in one class, that's history, one belt per class,
one champion, and he wants to keep the belt. He'll
fight the next contender. You see, there will be fights
underneath the set up stuff. So this will be an
interesting boxing model that we haven't seen professionally ever. But

(13:55):
I'm interested to see it because I'm tired of not
being able to get the fights that we want to
see in guys just like getting to places and they
just stopping whatever, you know, And I'm the man this
type of thing, So we'll see it'll be more more
about the sport than the boxer themselves, you see what
I'm saying. I think that's what they're trying to aim at,
like build that sucker as a team as opposed to
one dude. When he gets somewhere, he just holds everything

(14:18):
up because he's the man. We'll see how it all looks. Man.
But anyway, what do you guys think about this endeavor?
Put it in the comments section, Man, are you cool
with this? Well? Based on this, like I said, a
lot of information that I was talking about came by
way of various different articles that have been talked about
for a while. Now they're securing the deals. They start
in January of twenty twenty six, and it'll be interesting

(14:40):
Dana White in Turkey, ala Chik's money together with an
organized boxing league, with them building their own champions and
the ring is there and all this kind of stuff.
I say, it is the rest of these guys, that old,
antiquated dinosaur model that they've been running. These people are
in trouble because I know the fighters eventually going. Some
of them are going to go over there, and why
they Some of them might go, some of them might stay,
but they'll build their own people and they'll make it

(15:02):
relevant and they'll put on good fights, because that's what
it's all about. I So, anyway, with that being said, man,
put in the common section below and let me know
how you feel about this. Endeavor, man, I'd be interested
in what you guys think about it as well. So anyway,
I'm a big cute that's staying on this Ring Kings Box.
And no, it was a little longer than most, but
it was a lot to talk about. Listen, I'm gonna
be back at you for another one. Y'all hit that

(15:22):
like button and a share button and how that you're
on the flip side. Much love, peace, I'm swat now,
and make Ring Kings Boxing your source. Were all the
latest fight news.
